:00:59. > :01:05.Good evening. In a weekend when almost every game avoided power

:01:06. > :01:08.failure, we have electricity quite literally pulsing through the

:01:09. > :01:11.studio. Bolts out of the blue, managers blowing fuses on the

:01:12. > :01:15.weekend when the clocks went back and not everything ran like

:01:16. > :01:21.clock-work, but certainly switched on in the studio tonight Pat and

:01:22. > :01:26.Michael. For the first time since April 2012, we had a Glasgow derby

:01:27. > :01:30.in the top flight. Partick Thistle, despite a win last weekend and

:01:31. > :01:34.having won plenty of plaudit in general, they were still without a

:01:35. > :01:37.home victory in the League and their chances of changing that statistic

:01:38. > :01:49.didn't look too hopeful this lunch time as they welcomed the champions.

:01:50. > :01:57.Commentary from Rob McLean. Same team as last weekend. Doolan's

:01:58. > :02:03.double was decisive. No James Forrest and Ledley is a starter and

:02:04. > :02:36.Scott Brown after his European suspension.

:02:37. > :02:46.A good save by Scott Fox. Important touch from the keeper. Sill tick are

:02:47. > :03:02.six points deR Celtic are six points clear at the top of the Georgios

:03:03. > :03:06.Samaras. Celtic in front. Samaras heads in his seventh goal of the

:03:07. > :03:11.season. All very straightforward from the set piece. Samaras not

:03:12. > :03:15.picked up and there was only going to be one outcome there. It's 1-0

:03:16. > :03:33.Celtic. Pukki with a terrific opportunity to

:03:34. > :03:36.make it 2-0. Maybe he made his intentions too clear and it's a good

:03:37. > :04:09.save. He is a big creative influence.

:04:10. > :04:13.Again, Scott Fox denies Pukki. Again, the Finnish international is

:04:14. > :04:35.frustrated that he can't get Celtic's second goal.

:04:36. > :04:46.There's Doolan. There is the equaliser. All square here. Doolan

:04:47. > :04:53.denied that time, but he was quickly back on his feet keeping himself on

:04:54. > :05:04.side and then it was Craigen. A really good combination. Doolan had

:05:05. > :05:23.time to take a touch. Before beating Forster. Game on here.

:05:24. > :05:36.What was missing was the finishing touch. Having got himself into such

:05:37. > :06:19.a great position. Powering away from Muirhead and

:06:20. > :06:27.scoring. The 22-year-old Portuguese striker scores his second goal for

:06:28. > :06:31.Celtic. And the leaders are back in front. It was Welsh who lost

:06:32. > :06:46.possession and how he was made to pay. It was a neat finish for 2-1.

:06:47. > :06:50.We said before the game we knew they were a danger and they didn't do the

:06:51. > :06:53.job properly. It's not always going to be champagne football and you

:06:54. > :06:57.have to give respect to the opposition, because they can play a

:06:58. > :07:02.little bit and their tails are up after a great win. No mid-week games

:07:03. > :07:06.so a free week where the energy levels are higher than ours, but I

:07:07. > :07:11.have to give credit to the players. It wasn't pretty at times, but at

:07:12. > :07:16.times the football was good and we deserved to win. At this point, we

:07:17. > :07:21.give the second goal away. We had good possession and we end up giving

:07:22. > :07:26.it away. The champions are very, very clinical. Disappointing there,

:07:27. > :07:31.but a good three points for Celtic. And that's a big result for Neil

:07:32. > :07:36.after mid-week game, a tough game. Going up to Fir Hill. It's a tough

:07:37. > :07:41.place to go and he'll be absolutely delighted to get that result. Good

:07:42. > :07:47.to see goals, but you look at things from a goalkeeper's view and they

:07:48. > :07:59.could have been avoided. When you have someone like Samaras and van

:08:00. > :08:03.dyke, I don't know whether he was allowed to run across, but I look at

:08:04. > :08:07.the goalie here. He's blocked off, but the ball ends up five yards into

:08:08. > :08:11.the middle of the goal. Look, I think you've got to try to create

:08:12. > :08:15.space for yourself before that happens, to give yourself a chance

:08:16. > :08:19.as a keeper. You know better than I did, because you played there your

:08:20. > :08:23.whole life, but when you see the balls dropping you have to come in.

:08:24. > :08:28.He's been blocked off there and obviously had a straight, because

:08:29. > :08:37.Pukki was in front. All sorts of problems.

:08:38. > :08:44.It gives you a chance to attack. There was a chance after that

:08:45. > :08:48.actually I think it was headed when there was all sorts of space and he

:08:49. > :08:52.didn't come and you would be expecting him there. He had a very

:08:53. > :08:59.good game but that's his Achilles heel. In terms of Celtic defending,

:09:00. > :09:02.how bad was that? Again, I think it was a nice corner kick out of the

:09:03. > :09:10.edge of the box. Go away with it, but when it was cleared out, look at

:09:11. > :09:13.the ball. It is out there with Anthony Stokes, but look how far

:09:14. > :09:22.they are in. The goalie should be pushing them out. Partick Thistle

:09:23. > :09:27.comploiTed it. They switched off. -- exploited it. They switched off.

:09:28. > :09:32.There should have been communication. Van dyke has cleared

:09:33. > :09:35.the ball and he doesn't actually move. There's a yard of space that

:09:36. > :09:43.he's just staying in the whole time. The ball is at the back end. She is

:09:44. > :09:46.still not moving there. Once the ball is going back the way up the

:09:47. > :09:50.pitch you've got to get out and squeeze up to the ball. Close down

:09:51. > :09:55.the ball and if you're moving away it means that your opponents have to

:09:56. > :10:00.be going that way. Partick Thistle had a point. How much were they the

:10:01. > :10:05.architects of their own downfall? They like to build it up and they

:10:06. > :10:14.start to build it up and they're encouraged by arch bald to do that.

:10:15. > :10:18.But Baldi gave Muirhead a couple of moves there. Really did well. You'll

:10:19. > :10:22.see in the replay, the first thing in his mind is I'm going to get

:10:23. > :10:28.forward as we have possession. He leaves all that space. That's what

:10:29. > :10:34.the manager wants him to do, but look, you are the architect of your

:10:35. > :10:39.own downfall and good finish. Good composure to finish there. But you

:10:40. > :10:43.need to understand when to attack and when to hold your position and

:10:44. > :10:47.it wasn't comfortable. They didn't have control and you can't go

:10:48. > :10:53.bombing forward at that point. Good win for Celtic. Out with the Old

:10:54. > :10:56.Firm, Motherwell have finished best of the rest, and without fuss

:10:57. > :11:02.they've been going about trying to do the same again this season. Five

:11:03. > :11:08.wins out of the last seven have seen them soar up the table. A win today

:11:09. > :11:12.would put them clear. No that Saints wanted it to be that simple. A win

:11:13. > :11:18.for them would see them back to the top six. Commentary from John Barns.

:11:19. > :11:44.Scobee is into defence. Another well winning six of the la

:11:45. > :11:49.eight meetings between the sides. -- Motherwell winning six of the last

:11:50. > :12:13.eight meetings. Just couldn't get the direction

:12:14. > :12:31.right for Gary McDonald there. It broke his way. Diverting wide of the

:12:32. > :12:33.target. Deflected by man Manaus. Stephen May, that looked like a

:12:34. > :12:52.training-ground free kick. It's May who follows up. He's flying

:12:53. > :12:59.at the moment. Stevie May is flying at the moment. His eighth goal of

:13:00. > :13:16.the season. His fourth in his last five appearances.

:13:17. > :13:29.Here is Nigel Hasselbaink. It has gone wide. That was tenacious play

:13:30. > :13:44.by Hasselbank after the Motherwell captain slipped. The good deflection

:13:45. > :13:50.for Motherwell. Bob McHugh, he did well to find the yard of space for

:13:51. > :14:03.the shot. He failed to trouble Alan Mannus. He does Wotherspoon. He has

:14:04. > :14:11.a man wide. It is Chris Millar. Hamill with an effort. That is a

:14:12. > :14:24.bitter strike. It certainly warmed the fingers of the goalkeeper. It

:14:25. > :14:30.warmed the midriff of Stevie Hamill. Newell and slips and he has gifted

:14:31. > :14:39.it to Nigel Hasselbaink. The Dutchman delivers! He puts St

:14:40. > :14:44.Johnstone 2-0 in front. It is a nightmare for Gunnar Nielsen. He

:14:45. > :14:52.tried to stop the call for a corner but he only managed to set it up for

:14:53. > :15:05.a St Johnstone goal. It was a difficult angle but Nigel

:15:06. > :15:11.Hasselbaink executed the shot well. Motherwell district to get back in

:15:12. > :15:23.this game. Moors all last week in the win over Hearts. -- more scored

:15:24. > :15:31.last week. Now it is to Dawn one. He has Hasselbank in the middle. He

:15:32. > :15:38.finds the little Dutchman and his touch lets him down. Wotherspoon

:15:39. > :15:44.cannot for what. Hasselbank determined to get his second of the

:15:45. > :15:59.afternoon. He just fell down over Nielsen. Hamill to meet you. Sutton

:16:00. > :16:04.cannot get there but Lawson can. The latter appeals for a penalty. It

:16:05. > :16:15.seems to have come off Garry McDonald's hand. It definitely came

:16:16. > :16:20.off his hand. Hutchinson. Another pass back for Nielsen. And he has

:16:21. > :16:29.given it straight to David Wotherspoon. Can he finish it off?

:16:30. > :16:32.Headed away by Ramsden. It looks likes and Johnstone are on course

:16:33. > :16:41.for the fourth league win of the season. I think we were disappointed

:16:42. > :16:44.at half-time. We emphasised to the players if we kept on doing what we

:16:45. > :16:53.were doing, the goals would comment. We were really pleased to get the

:16:54. > :17:01.winning goal and the clean sheet. When we got to half-time 0-0 it was

:17:02. > :17:05.a good opportunity. They probably wear in the ascendancy and then be

:17:06. > :17:09.came out in the second half and did not really get to grips with the

:17:10. > :17:17.game. We got what we deserved which was nothing. Nigel Hasselbaink, how

:17:18. > :17:25.much of the factor was he today in the victory for St Johnstone? There

:17:26. > :17:31.was a lack of width in the game but Hasselbank naturally drifts into

:17:32. > :17:36.wide areas. All the problems he caused where in the wider area. He

:17:37. > :17:42.has got that unpredictability about him. This is a great example. I

:17:43. > :17:52.would be screaming at him. He manages to keep the corner. He has

:17:53. > :17:57.fantastic energy. If he could just finish a few of those opportunities

:17:58. > :18:02.I think he would be a really, really top-class player. Here is

:18:03. > :18:09.unpredictable, sometimes you do not know if you will be good or bad. The

:18:10. > :18:18.goalkeeper will be so disappointed but that was a good finish. The

:18:19. > :18:27.goalkeeper was putting him under pressure and he managed to keep his

:18:28. > :18:34.composure. In terms of this penalty claim, it was quite bizarre, what

:18:35. > :18:40.did you think at the time? It was difficult, we were looking at it

:18:41. > :18:46.from this angle. The referee cannot see this, it is blind for him. You

:18:47. > :18:52.see the linesman, he is in a good position. The problem with these

:18:53. > :18:58.instances is that they happened so quickly, once you lift your hand in

:18:59. > :19:03.the year I think that is a penalty. In the past you could get away with

:19:04. > :19:14.it but lifting your hand like that it is a penalty. I think the shot

:19:15. > :19:20.was also on target. Motherwell could have gone second, a bad day at the

:19:21. > :19:28.office for them. Compared to last year when they were three points

:19:29. > :19:33.ahead. Over the piece they are still doing well this season but Stuart

:19:34. > :19:42.McCall knows he needs the extra pace to break down the opposition. Still

:19:43. > :19:50.to come tonight: Hearts with that sinking feeling, they face

:19:51. > :19:55.Kilmarnock at Rugby Park. It is fair to say that games between Hebburn

:19:56. > :20:03.burning and Aberdeen have had a bad reputation for being rather dull

:20:04. > :20:07.fears. -- Hibernian. Would this be the one that finally got the pulses

:20:08. > :20:51.racing? -- rather dull our fears. Reynolds! A good stop. A fine save

:20:52. > :21:01.there. McGinn's corner. Anderson at the back. Returned by Jack. Anderson

:21:02. > :21:07.with the shot. It seemed to come off the arm of Kevin Thomson at the edge

:21:08. > :21:16.of the box. This is better from Hibernian. Scott Robertson, 40

:21:17. > :21:25.lovely delivery. Heffernan. Touched away superbly by Jamie Langfield.

:21:26. > :21:34.Paul Heffernan keen to add to his tally for Hibernian, three already

:21:35. > :21:38.since joining. McGivern's header breaks kindly for Peter Pawlett,

:21:39. > :21:47.one-on-one with the goalkeeper. The follow-up. He is turned away by

:21:48. > :21:52.James McPeake. McGivern was the man stretching initially. He should have

:21:53. > :22:02.bought the shout. McGinn could not finish because of the intervention

:22:03. > :22:06.of McPeake. This is good from Hibernian. McGivern in towards

:22:07. > :22:15.Robertson. There is a chance for fine. It is knocked away by James

:22:16. > :22:26.Collins go there is a for offside. -- although there is even whistle

:22:27. > :22:35.for offside. Here is burning on the chase. Stevenson. Scott Vernon. That

:22:36. > :22:45.is a terrific strike from the substitute. Aberdeen in front with

:22:46. > :22:50.ten minutes remaining. The manager feels there was an infringement. It

:22:51. > :22:56.seems as though he slept more than anything, I do not think there was

:22:57. > :23:02.any foul by the Aberdeen player. That was a terrific strike by Scott

:23:03. > :23:11.Vernon to give his side the lead. The manager is being spoken to by

:23:12. > :23:18.the referee. That was one of the longest pass backs of the day. The

:23:19. > :23:25.keeper slept. What a great opportunity for Collins to level it.

:23:26. > :23:30.He has wasted that opportunity. What a howler from Jamie Langfield. James

:23:31. > :23:40.Collins really should have punished him. Here is burning. He is doing

:23:41. > :23:46.extremely well. He set up the opportunity for Gregg Wylde.

:23:47. > :23:55.Cancelling S setup here? He can! The two substitute -- the two

:23:56. > :24:05.substitutes combined. -- can see set it up here? While with the finish to

:24:06. > :24:17.ensure that Aberdeen move into second spot in the Premiership. They

:24:18. > :24:27.did enough. It was a poor day from us. We are disappointed with that.

:24:28. > :24:35.We wanted to pull back a decent win here. We felt everybody played their

:24:36. > :24:40.part. We wanted players in every area of the pitch. We knew we had to

:24:41. > :24:47.handle the ball well and I felt we did that. Suber substitutes made the

:24:48. > :24:58.absolute difference. Vernon and Gregg Wylde at the 44 Aberdeen. Poor

:24:59. > :25:08.defending by Hibernian. That was exploited. Aberdeen capitalised.

:25:09. > :25:17.This man did really well to get the ball between his body and the

:25:18. > :25:20.player. What a great finish. That is poor defending. Sometimes as a

:25:21. > :25:27.defender you have to take it through. For Gregg Wylde, he has

:25:28. > :25:34.electric pace and he uses that. Another composed finish. How much

:25:35. > :25:41.does this express the strength and depth at Aberdeen? They push onto

:25:42. > :25:48.potentially be the best of the rest in the Premiership this season. In

:25:49. > :25:52.the last couple of years they were struggling but he has come in with

:25:53. > :26:02.players, Willo Flood is a great little player. He is a Dubliner. But

:26:03. > :26:08.he can play. Barry Robson has been out injured all year but he has come

:26:09. > :26:16.back in. I was surprised at who he had on the bench. It is unfortunate

:26:17. > :26:31.when some people get the type of Suber sub. -- the kind of super

:26:32. > :26:36.Saab. The warm form is something that the manager will be looking to

:26:37. > :26:42.rectified quickly. By Michael we shall see. A bad day at the office

:26:43. > :26:55.for Hibernian but what about the Edinburgh rivals? Hearts went into

:26:56. > :27:02.the match already looking pretty lost that they bought of the table.

:27:03. > :27:11.At Rugby Park for us is Brian McLaughlin. Ahead of the game both

:27:12. > :27:21.managers had spoken of how crucial this game wars. The fans had their

:27:22. > :27:30.own agendas, the telly fans with the red card against the chairman. --

:27:31. > :27:35.eco-Marnoch fans. Crucial, every game is crucial. We will be

:27:36. > :27:43.struggling for the rest of the season. There is nothing wrong with

:27:44. > :27:52.a pre-match pie to keep energy levels up. Ryan Stevenson had the

:27:53. > :28:00.first effort on goal. The shot from just outside the box tipped over by

:28:01. > :28:05.the goalkeeper. The Kilmarnock boss urged his players forward at every

:28:06. > :28:14.opportunity. Kris Boyd came close to finding the back of the net just

:28:15. > :28:19.minutes later. Another former Rangers player was also causing

:28:20. > :28:26.problems for Hearts. This time it was Barry Nicholson with a volley

:28:27. > :28:30.just over the crossbar. The Hearts defence has come under scrutiny in

:28:31. > :28:37.recent weeks. Once again questions will be asked after allowing Kris

:28:38. > :28:42.Boyd time and space to score. Terrific composure from Kris Boyd.

:28:43. > :28:58.He was to prove a real handful for the Hearts rearguard all afternoon.

:28:59. > :29:04.. Darren BAR made the move in the summer. He found himself in the wars

:29:05. > :29:11.after this melee in the home box. The keeper appearing to catch BAR as

:29:12. > :29:19.he comes away. The 28-year-old eventually carried off and both sets

:29:20. > :29:24.of fanned giving him a standing ovation. Nicholson should have

:29:25. > :29:34.scored here. But at the other end Patterson and Wilson were inches

:29:35. > :29:40.away from connecting. There was one more chance. Johnson here. But Jimmy

:29:41. > :29:44.McDonald saving the stay. The half-time report says Kilmarnock

:29:45. > :29:50.were on top, but the Jambos were still very much in the game. Into

:29:51. > :29:58.the second period and Hearts Klose to an equaliser. Jimmy Walker with a

:29:59. > :30:00.cross and Patterson's header wide of target. Kilmarnock pushed forward

:30:01. > :30:24.and McDonald came to the rescue. A fantastic first touch before a

:30:25. > :30:30.neat flick. Hearts youngsters were trying their best. Whenever they did

:30:31. > :30:35.have sight of goal Craig Sampson was in no mood of allowing them any hope

:30:36. > :30:42.of a comeback. It was the home side that finished stronger. Boyd the

:30:43. > :30:51.provider and Chris Johnson, who was one on one with Jordan McGhee, but

:30:52. > :30:58.the shot was deflected over for a corner. Boyd with two terrific

:30:59. > :31:03.finishes and Hearts travel back with a mood as damp as the weather here

:31:04. > :31:08.at Rugby Park and it's here where -- we'll hear what both managers have

:31:09. > :31:11.to say. We have to defend better than that. You can see the

:31:12. > :31:14.confidence in the players. We are passing really well and it's been

:31:15. > :31:19.like that for the majority of the games and we've not been far away.

:31:20. > :31:28.It's good to turn in the three points. There wasn't much in the

:31:29. > :31:32.game. The two mistakes have cost us. Pat, did he share any pies with you?

:31:33. > :31:36.We were inside, so we had much better food. In terms of the result,

:31:37. > :31:41.Kilmarnock deserved winners? Very much so. I was very impressed with

:31:42. > :31:44.them yesterday. They had energy about them they played the game in

:31:45. > :31:51.the right way. Alan will be delighted with the way they played.

:31:52. > :31:56.They were a handful upfront. Boyd was back to himself again. Led the

:31:57. > :32:00.line and knocked balls up to him and he's strong and he's running now and

:32:01. > :32:04.lost a lot of weight as we can imagine, but this goal was poor

:32:05. > :32:10.defending, but look at that, strike left foot, back of the net. He knows

:32:11. > :32:14.he can score goals. Is he a better player now? I can't say that, but

:32:15. > :32:18.he'll always be able to score goals. As a striker, he's got that nack and

:32:19. > :32:22.ability. You don't lose that. We are talking about the things he's

:32:23. > :32:26.improved, with movement and weight. He's never going to lose that

:32:27. > :32:31.ability to find the back of the net. I think also he's taken on a

:32:32. > :32:37.leadership role, so he was organised and the players we being told what

:32:38. > :32:44.to do and he was a real leader. The others played around about him.

:32:45. > :32:49.Chris Johnson out on left. This is an opportunity. Different class.

:32:50. > :32:53.SmaS something that he -- shas something he has been -- that's

:32:54. > :32:57.something that he may have been guilty about before. What is that?

:32:58. > :33:11.He did that all day yesterday. It's great to watch. That will buoy up

:33:12. > :33:15.the fans. Not for the first time this season poor defending from

:33:16. > :33:21.Hearts. Confidence is low. Do they have a chance of escaping that

:33:22. > :33:25.bottom part? It's getting slimmer as the weeks pass. It's becoming a bit

:33:26. > :33:30.of a theme that bad defensive mistakes are costing them very, very

:33:31. > :33:35.dearly. The two goals there were straight balls, Pat. As a goalkeeper

:33:36. > :33:39.you need communication at the back and centre halves have to deal with

:33:40. > :33:43.it. On the evidence from yesterday, I can't see them getting out of the

:33:44. > :33:48.their situation. They didn't have any natural striker. When Ryan

:33:49. > :33:53.Stevens went off and Patterson came off, but he's more on the right-hand

:33:54. > :34:01.side and there were real opportunities. It looks bleak for

:34:02. > :34:04.them. Champagne football on Tannadice Street seems to be the

:34:05. > :34:08.order of the day, after an uncertain start to the season. A quarter of

:34:09. > :34:14.the way through and Dundee were starting to play some of the most

:34:15. > :34:19.fun-to-watch football. But after a defeat Mark Wilson was drafted in.

:34:20. > :34:23.They were up against a St Mirren side who have stopped the rot. Two

:34:24. > :34:36.wins on the trot after victories at Hearts and edging seven-goal

:34:37. > :34:47.thriller against St Johnstone. Kello made his debut. They have a Turkish

:34:48. > :35:00.Dutchman who is becoming a real hero. The opening goal arriving in

:35:01. > :35:03.the 27th minute. With Gary Mackay Stephen on from the start they were

:35:04. > :35:16.dominant. Minutes after the goal, there was a penalty. Sean Kelly with

:35:17. > :35:29.the infringement. And no doubting the penalty. He put it confidently

:35:30. > :35:33.past Kello to make it 2-0. United should have been more than two goals

:35:34. > :35:39.in front in the first half. St Mirren were chasing tangerine

:35:40. > :35:49.shadows and some dithering in defence almost allowed in Ryan Gold

:35:50. > :35:53.for number three. At 17 years of age he's a great talent and his chance

:35:54. > :36:00.to really shine would come in the second half. Even from this sort of

:36:01. > :36:10.range, no problem. You won't see many better strikes this season.

:36:11. > :36:16.That goal came with still 30 minutes left on the clock. Still the

:36:17. > :36:23.tangerine tide came forward. St Mirren were toiling. First Ryan

:36:24. > :36:32.Graham denied. And then from Andrew Robertson's cross, Graham would be

:36:33. > :36:39.denied again this time by Kello. By and large a dismal day out for St

:36:40. > :36:46.Mirren. Dobson got a chance, but the goalie did just enough to put off

:36:47. > :36:52.the former United striker. With just seven minutes left to play, Ryan Dow

:36:53. > :37:03.intercepted and surged forward before feeding the ball to Chris

:37:04. > :37:11.Erskine. Number four for them. The side are lighting up the Scottish

:37:12. > :37:16.Premiership. As for St Mirren, after recent improvements, this was a

:37:17. > :37:26.reminder of the bad old days of not too long ago. Disappointed for us in

:37:27. > :37:30.terms of where we have been. In terms of the energy what we've

:37:31. > :37:34.brought and collectiveness and playing as a team and I thought we

:37:35. > :37:39.broke the shadow of that today. I think it's good. I thought

:37:40. > :37:43.everything came together and worked well at passing and chances created

:37:44. > :37:58.and good balls in the We are going to talk about Ryan

:37:59. > :38:05.Gold. 17. Absolutely fantastic. A joy to watch. He is. The team is

:38:06. > :38:10.packed full of real attacking threat and imagination in the final third.

:38:11. > :38:14.Ryan Gold epitomises that. You see he drifts into little pockets of

:38:15. > :38:20.areas and finds space. You could argue that the defence need to close

:38:21. > :38:24.him down a bit quicker, but that's intelligent play. He finds the space

:38:25. > :38:29.and knows where to drift. He causes defence all sorts of problems and it

:38:30. > :38:34.one is a perfect example. Into that wee picket, difficult to pick up and

:38:35. > :38:40.direct and straight at goal. What a shot that is. Fantastic strike. You

:38:41. > :38:45.see it here. Just after this, where the goalkeeper didn't have much of a

:38:46. > :38:50.chance. What Jackie's allowed the players to do in the final third is

:38:51. > :38:53.express yourselves and get in. I don't think Jackie plays with the

:38:54. > :38:58.wingers, but likes them into the inside and play in the little

:38:59. > :39:02.pockets and there are young players coming in. You don't have to be the

:39:03. > :39:10.big guy. I think Barcelona have proved that with the players they

:39:11. > :39:19.have, small, but your movement. Intelligent. Yeah. 29.6 yards. I

:39:20. > :39:23.thought I better convert that for the viewers. Fantastic to watch.

:39:24. > :39:28.Champagne football. Disappointing for St Mirren, because they looked

:39:29. > :39:34.like they might have turned a corner. You could see some on the

:39:35. > :39:37.VT, their defending was so poor. No closing down. Didn't seem to be

:39:38. > :39:41.stretched between the midfield and back four. They dropped off. All

:39:42. > :39:45.sorts of areas for teams to play against them. That was pretty much

:39:46. > :39:49.the weekend that was. Just five games this weekend, because the

:39:50. > :40:00.Friday night match ended up in darkness in Dingwall. Ross county

:40:01. > :40:07.and Inverness was going to on and then the match was abandoned to be

:40:08. > :40:11.played on another date. They'll be reverting back to Victoria Park

:40:12. > :40:13.after that. That's how it finished there, abandoned, so what's the

:40:14. > :40:36.table looking like now? If you thought this weekend was

:40:37. > :40:53.pretty good, next week looks pretty tasty too.

:40:54. > :41:00.Even before all that, there's a small mid-week matter of the League

:41:01. > :41:07.Cup quarter finals. On Tuesday, Inverness are at home to Dundee and

:41:08. > :41:12.Morton are at home to St Johnstone and it's Hibs and Hearts for the

:41:13. > :41:29.Edinburgh Derby. It will be Hibs and Hearts for a place in the last four.

:41:30. > :41:36.That game is live on BBC One Scotland at 6.55pm on Wednesday and

:41:37. > :41:40.extended studio analysis on-line at full-time.

:41:41. > :41:50.It's a brave man who predicts an Edinburgh derby, Pat, so over to

:41:51. > :41:53.you. I am not going to predict. Any derby can go. It depends how you

:41:54. > :41:57.wake up and how you approach the gale and get out there and be

:41:58. > :42:03.positive, but I watched Hearts yesterday and I think Hibs pu have

:42:04. > :42:06.the upper hand. The home team. The way that Hearts are playing, their

:42:07. > :42:12.confidence must be down. But it's a quarter final and a big chance to do

:42:13. > :42:18.something this year. You never know. In the last Edinburgh Derby it was

:42:19. > :42:22.Hearts? It was, but they were on a better run than at the moment. Pat

:42:23. > :42:28.is right. The confidence must be at rock bottom at the moment. Difficult

:42:29. > :42:31.to say what will happen, but -- It seems like an age ago in I was

:42:32. > :42:35.talking about it yesterday. That was something that hearts never had.

:42:36. > :42:39.Somebody attacking the front post area and natural strikers is

:42:40. > :42:44.something they lack, but a great finish. They theT got no the

:42:45. > :42:50.positions almost even lease -- they got into the positions almost even

:42:51. > :42:53.less. You have to attack the near post and get in front of the

:42:54. > :42:58.defenders and that improved. He can prove that he can do it. They want

:42:59. > :43:02.to work on that and I know he was talking about improving the

:43:03. > :43:07.defending, but they have to work on the all-round part. Let's hope it's

:43:08. > :43:10.great. A time for a look at tomorrow's back pages before we

:43:11. > :43:21.leave you. There we go. That is the Daily Mail. Rough diamond. And this

:43:22. > :43:32.is the Scotsman Badbe comes of age there. -- Balde comes of age. Neil

:43:33. > :43:38.Lennon promises he'll get more game game. He's a bit of a rough diamond,

:43:39. > :43:45.but he's got so many injuries. Neil Lennon needs to be bringing them in.

:43:46. > :43:51.The injuries are a problem. You had Mulgrew out and Kris Commons has

:43:52. > :44:00.been out. And Samaras went off with a gash. Big games. James Forster, so

:44:01. > :44:05.let's hope he's fit. Balde and Pukki and the guys they've brought them in

:44:06. > :44:10.and they cannot be babies all the time. They have to be men and score.

:44:11. > :44:16.He proved that he can go by people and score and that's what he has to

:44:17. > :44:20.do week in and week out. They've got a big score, so they have to cope

:44:21. > :44:24.with the number of games. I'm sure he'll get the opportunities in games

:44:25. > :44:28.to come. He took his opportunity and make a big impact and he got Celtic

:44:29. > :44:34.the three point in the end. That is it. The weekend in Scottish football

:44:35. > :44:37.is finally at an end. Thank you to Pat and Michael for joining us this

:44:38. > :44:42.evening. There is more football mid-week as we were just talking

:44:43. > :44:46.about. Wednesday night, the Edinburgh derby. Join us for that,

:44:47. > :44:47.but for now, from all of us here, stay safe in the weather, good

:44:48. > :44:49.night.
