:00:12. > :00:14.Good afternoon and welcome to the last Results Show

:00:15. > :00:17.of the year, the jewel in the crown of the BBC's Hogmanay schedule -

:00:18. > :00:24.We'll usher 2016 gently toward the exit with scores,

:00:25. > :00:30.Helping see the old year out this derby day with Old Firm old boys

:00:31. > :00:36.Pat Bonner and Craig Paterson, and Old Faithfull Tom English

:00:37. > :00:39.of the BBC, as well as our men and women out and about

:00:40. > :00:46.Things are a wee bit different today because most of the matches have

:00:47. > :00:48.already been played, just a couple still afoot.

:00:49. > :00:51.So we'll start with a look at the results and latest scores.

:00:52. > :01:10.Here it comes. Hearts, nil, Aberdeen, one.

:01:11. > :01:19.That match played last night. Those all confirmed results. The one match

:01:20. > :01:22.being played, Ross County, who 2, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, one.

:01:23. > :01:44.In the up on the matches under way. We

:01:45. > :01:48.start with the Premiership, the Highland Derby, Ross County against

:01:49. > :01:53.Inverness. The timing is impeccable. Ross

:01:54. > :02:01.County netted a third. Martin Woods breaking into the box. Drove it into

:02:02. > :02:05.the corner and found the net. In the championship and over to

:02:06. > :02:10.Paisley, where St Mirren are at home to mort earn. Here is Kenny

:02:11. > :02:16.Crawford. After 57 minutes, the difference

:02:17. > :02:20.between the teams so far, has been Gary McKenzie's headed goal. But

:02:21. > :02:25.don't rule out high-flying Morton just yet.

:02:26. > :02:28.Thank you very much, Kenny. Right on to the big Glasgow Derby. Rangers

:02:29. > :02:33.versus Celtic at Ibrox. Even the kick off time

:02:34. > :02:35.? 12:15 on Hogmanay - Celtic, celebrating their third

:02:36. > :02:41.Old Firm win of the season, They had to come from

:02:42. > :02:45.a goal behind at Ibrox. Kenny Miller with the first goal

:02:46. > :02:48.of the game 12 minutes in. Moussa Dembele equalising 12 minutes

:02:49. > :02:50.from half time, his fifth With an unmarked Scott Sinclair

:02:51. > :02:54.getting the winner from an Armstrong cross -

:02:55. > :02:58.Celtic now 19 points clear of Rangers at the top

:02:59. > :03:01.of the league with a game in hand going into the Premiership's

:03:02. > :03:11.winter break. Well, against, what do we make of

:03:12. > :03:16.that? Pat, you first. 20 years at Celtic. You were pleased with that

:03:17. > :03:22.today? Well, it was a terrific game, wasn't it? We really, really saw a

:03:23. > :03:25.good game. Rangers started off well. The first half an hour I was

:03:26. > :03:31.impressed with them. They pressed away. I thought that they would

:03:32. > :03:36.press Celtic. Coming out three up front. The wing backs through the

:03:37. > :03:41.back. They got Celtic under pressure. Celtic were unable to

:03:42. > :03:45.control the game. They got the goal, Rangers, that was important to the

:03:46. > :03:51.game. But then the reaction of Celtic when they got their goal was

:03:52. > :03:54.terrific. Whatever Brendan said to them, they came out flying in the

:03:55. > :04:03.second half and created about nine chances in the second half. All good

:04:04. > :04:09.chances. It was a game that is still alive right up to the end.

:04:10. > :04:12.Definitely. The toughest, most #45rd-fought win Celtic have had

:04:13. > :04:17.over Rangers this season? I think so. But it was going to be that way,

:04:18. > :04:22.Rangers in front of their home crowd. They did to a point do

:04:23. > :04:27.something but they were blown away a little. They had big chances in the

:04:28. > :04:32.second half and should have scored with Kenny Miller.

:04:33. > :04:38.Craig, 130-odd appearances, what is your take on the events? Rangers in

:04:39. > :04:44.progress, and we saw progress. Coming out of the traps, Barry McKay

:04:45. > :04:49.leading the way. They were pushing Celtic back,

:04:50. > :04:53.forcing Celtic to defend. Celtic's big players were struggling to get

:04:54. > :04:59.involved. Everything looked comfortable, then they gave away a

:05:00. > :05:04.bad goal. Scot Sinclair hits the post, scrambles for a corner,

:05:05. > :05:09.Dembele is on his own. He take as great touch and smashes the ball

:05:10. > :05:13.into the back of the net and Celtic are a different team. Armstrong is

:05:14. > :05:17.on the ball. Everybody is on the ball. They are all getting on the

:05:18. > :05:23.ball. Taking that to the second half. Rangers had two or three good

:05:24. > :05:29.chance but #1e89ic had half a dozen. The better team won. The reiningers

:05:30. > :05:33.fans are looking at it, saying they enjoyed the first 30 minute but

:05:34. > :05:40.fellway. There is a gap between the sides. The question is will the

:05:41. > :05:47.clubs be big markets when the tramp window opens in January? Tommy never

:05:48. > :05:50.played for either club. You can shine the light of neutrality on the

:05:51. > :05:56.events today. I thought it was an excellent game.

:05:57. > :06:02.An old firm game, I don't remember a game that I enjoyed so much. Like

:06:03. > :06:07.the lads, I thought that Rangers were excellent for the first 30

:06:08. > :06:14.minutes and the game switched. Were you surprised? I was a little.

:06:15. > :06:19.The attitude was excellent. The intensity was excellent. No regard

:06:20. > :06:25.for who was at the top of the table. They got the goal, they deserved it.

:06:26. > :06:35.They could have got a second goal but Celtic's quality and ranger's

:06:36. > :06:42.vulnerability in defence came out. Kiernan is not good in defence. We

:06:43. > :06:50.are talking about the defence, not breaching the gap, they will not

:06:51. > :06:55.breach it with the likes of Kiernan. There was a problem in the second

:06:56. > :07:01.half. Opened up time and time again. When you are open you can leave

:07:02. > :07:06.yourself short on the back. There was a lot of chances, a lot of

:07:07. > :07:15.saves. Dembele, what an effort, down and off the bar. But Rangers could

:07:16. > :07:23.not cope in the second half. Whatever was said, they came out,

:07:24. > :07:28.struggled defensively, and maybe with the impetus that Celtic had but

:07:29. > :07:31.struggled defensively, and maybe they suddenly had another winger

:07:32. > :07:37.with Sinclair, maybe they could have changed it to a back four but they

:07:38. > :07:42.should have bought time in the second half. It looked like there

:07:43. > :07:46.could be something created. But that was the difference there.

:07:47. > :07:52.There is a Gulf there, we can see it. But Rangers are a better team

:07:53. > :07:57.now than in the 5-1 or the 1-0. They were under the cosh. I suspect that

:07:58. > :08:02.a number of months ago, with all of the chances that Celtic had in the

:08:03. > :08:07.second half that Rangers would have folded but they didn't. They were

:08:08. > :08:15.getting a drubbing but they were still in the match.

:08:16. > :08:22.They were always in the match. And then the goalkeeper, he was

:08:23. > :08:27.impressive. Five really good saves. Mark Waugh Burton said don't judge

:08:28. > :08:32.me on season on performances against Celtic but if we were judging him on

:08:33. > :08:38.today's evidence, the verdict would not be one he would read hearing?

:08:39. > :08:42.Most teams get crumbs of comfort when they play Celtic, the crumbs

:08:43. > :08:47.that they had today was that never gave up, they put it up to #1e89ic

:08:48. > :08:52.but could not close the deal. No points but a little bit of feel good

:08:53. > :08:58.in that they turned up. They did not turn up in the 5-1, and were

:08:59. > :09:03.outclassed in the 1-0. But it was in front of the home

:09:04. > :09:11.crowd. If you can't perform, then wow. But there was an improvement in

:09:12. > :09:17.Rangers Celtic have many good players.

:09:18. > :09:24.Do we read into the buying of players? There will be one or two

:09:25. > :09:29.quality players brought in but spending the money properly and

:09:30. > :09:40.adding to the group of players. But they need one or two in key

:09:41. > :09:45.positions. Whoop Look at Dembele and Sinclair, the new signings, they see

:09:46. > :09:51.a guy who can get a player and bring him into the team and the player has

:09:52. > :09:56.an impact. I like the Celtic manager, I see him not only picking

:09:57. > :10:02.good players but revitalising the old players. Lee Griffiths on the

:10:03. > :10:09.bench, that is a luxury. Since he has come, he has impressed.

:10:10. > :10:15.Tactically he gets it right. It was interesting although

:10:16. > :10:19.Griffiths did not play in the game. He was on the television celebrating

:10:20. > :10:24.the goals. This is a team squad player. It reflects the overall

:10:25. > :10:29.togetherness of this Celtic team under Rogers.

:10:30. > :10:34.From the Glasgow Derby to the Highland one.

:10:35. > :10:43.Up dates on the events there. It is Ross count county, three,

:10:44. > :10:49.Inverness one. Andrew Davis flicked a corner, a goal returned to the

:10:50. > :10:56.back post. And then the ball glanced home and in off the bar. You worried

:10:57. > :11:01.for Inverness but they responded with Dorran and levelled after a

:11:02. > :11:08.period of pressure. Marco found a corner with a header.

:11:09. > :11:15.County roared back, and after Martin Woods' drive, the ball was wide, it

:11:16. > :11:24.went in via the slightest touch of Josh meekiness. There should have

:11:25. > :11:29.been a third but a third arrived by Alex Schalt, bursting into the box.

:11:30. > :11:31.Inverness are up against it and looking like remaining at the foot

:11:32. > :11:38.of the table. looking like remaining at the foot

:11:39. > :11:43.Time to talk with Kenny Crawford watching St Mirren. Kenny,

:11:44. > :11:53.predicting a comeback from the tale of the Bankies? Not sure now it is

:11:54. > :11:59.St Mirren 1, Morton nil. St Mirren have the lead thanks to Gary

:12:00. > :12:05.McKensee's goal. From the corner which #34k kensie rose and headered

:12:06. > :12:13.into the bottom right-hand corner. A precious goal for the side seven

:12:14. > :12:19.points adrift. On 59 minutes, Morton down to ten

:12:20. > :12:25.men. A red card for Jamie McDonner from the referee. A tangle with

:12:26. > :12:31.Quinn. They fell to the ground and there was a foot at the face of

:12:32. > :12:38.Quinn. The referee had no hesitation but to show a red card. So 25

:12:39. > :12:47.minutes to go it is St Mirren, one, Morton, nil.

:12:48. > :12:53.And Craig, two goals for Boyce? He is important to Ross County. Scoring

:12:54. > :12:58.half of their league goals. They have lost the last couple to give

:12:59. > :13:04.them a goal there. The second goal I'm not so sure. But, with him in

:13:05. > :13:08.the team, Ross County are definitely top six material. Without him they

:13:09. > :13:15.go to the pack with the rest of the team. They need to keep him fit.

:13:16. > :13:20.Not looking good for the end of year celebrations in Inverness? They are

:13:21. > :13:26.right down there. Nobody has been taled off yet in this. The next

:13:27. > :13:30.couple of games, that's when Inverness could get taled off a

:13:31. > :13:34.little. They need a win now to keep in the pack otherwise it becomes

:13:35. > :13:41.very difficult. And the confidence is down. A wee break now. When they

:13:42. > :13:44.come back fresh, they will be back and will probably be parking

:13:45. > :13:48.everything and trying like the start of a new league.

:13:49. > :13:54.It shows you if there are no wins in ten if they lose this match. It is

:13:55. > :14:01.three points from 30, yet probably only one point off the bottom. Now

:14:02. > :14:05.that shows you, again, talking about crumbs of comfort, that is that for

:14:06. > :14:13.Inverness but it shows that the bottom of the league it is cut

:14:14. > :14:21.throat. Also prim and poor! Exciting also! Well, Partick Thistle drew but

:14:22. > :14:25.jumped up after some good runs. Well, the bottom of the championship

:14:26. > :14:29.and St Mirren could be on course for a vital win. That would be the third

:14:30. > :14:34.in four matches? It would be important for them. They had a

:14:35. > :14:40.horrible start. Jack Ross takes over. A defeat last week. If they

:14:41. > :14:44.are hit by a win today, the problem for the Duffy side is that unbeaten

:14:45. > :14:53.at home, that would be the fifth away. They have to be on right side

:14:54. > :14:57.of that. So the matches are one of the host of Hogmanay

:14:58. > :15:01.The home side, Hamilton, starting the day next to bottom

:15:02. > :15:03.in the league against local rivals Motherwell who before

:15:04. > :15:09.John Barnes has the lowdown from Lanarkhsire.

:15:10. > :15:17.Hamilton's run of matches without a win moves on to 11 games.

:15:18. > :15:24.The visitors had the best of the early play with Gary Woods making a

:15:25. > :15:31.save to deny McDonald the opener in. But after 27 minutes Lee Lucas was

:15:32. > :15:35.sent off for a challenge. After the interval, Daco claimed his sixth

:15:36. > :15:40.goal of the season to put the Accies in front. A goal line clearance from

:15:41. > :15:49.McManus, prevented Crawford adding a second. But then Louis Moult scored

:15:50. > :15:53.his sixth goal in four games to equalise for Motherwell to ensure

:15:54. > :15:56.that the Lanarkshire Derby ended all square.

:15:57. > :15:59.Our next derby day destination is Dens.

:16:00. > :16:01.Dundee were ninth this morning, St Johnstone were fifth ahead

:16:02. > :16:03.of their lunchtime match - how did they fare?

:16:04. > :16:10.Brian McLauchlin tells this Tayside tale.

:16:11. > :16:18.It finished Dundee, three, St Johnstone, nil, in front of a crowd

:16:19. > :16:29.of 6492. The home fans entering the New Year with smiles on their faces.

:16:30. > :16:34.The opening goal after a near cross. St Johnstone hit the crossbar from

:16:35. > :16:39.25 yards, the second goal came before half-time, with a Volley high

:16:40. > :16:47.into the roof of the net. The killer goal before the hour mark, good work

:16:48. > :16:51.by Marco O'Hara in mid-field. The cross met by the Saints captain, who

:16:52. > :16:57.deflected the ball into 9 back of his own net to finish with a score

:16:58. > :17:01.line at Dens Park of Dundee, three, St Johnstone, nil.

:17:02. > :17:02.And now, With two wins on the spin,

:17:03. > :17:07.Partick Thistle broke into the top At home to Kilmarnock,

:17:08. > :17:22.Alasdair Lamont was An uneventful match here. Partick

:17:23. > :17:27.Thistle the better side for the most part but they could not turn it into

:17:28. > :17:29.goals. On both occasions where there were

:17:30. > :17:35.goals. chances, they were denied by the

:17:36. > :17:41.assistance off side flag. Kilmarnock could have gone home with three

:17:42. > :17:47.points, the ball was scoped over the bar from close long-range and a long

:17:48. > :17:50.range shot from Stevie Smith but there was share of the spoils.

:17:51. > :17:56.Nil-nil. Against, I will ask you each a

:17:57. > :18:02.question on one of the games. Craig, since you played for Motherwell and

:18:03. > :18:08.Hamilton. I come to you on that one. McGee looking delighted there.

:18:09. > :18:12.Yep, one nil down, you take that after going ten men down. They have

:18:13. > :18:18.to follow up with a hard-earned point. For the Accies it is 11 games

:18:19. > :18:25.without a win. This year they are 11. Last year a year of one run in

:18:26. > :18:31.15. They always have this section of the season where the wheels fall off

:18:32. > :18:38.but they tend to finish strongly, but need a result soon.

:18:39. > :18:43.Paul? Dundee is at home, OK but three goals and up against St

:18:44. > :18:48.Johnstone, who are going well. So I think that is a result of the day.

:18:49. > :18:51.You can imagine where Dundee was a couple of months ago when people

:18:52. > :18:55.were talking about Hartley getting the sack. Now, they have started to

:18:56. > :19:00.turn it around. Playing three at the back, the good

:19:01. > :19:06.organisation about them and scoring goals. Huge confidence.

:19:07. > :19:10.Paul, you get the goaless one? The short straw, thank you, chaps.

:19:11. > :19:17.Partick Thistle, I'm surprised. They have been flying. They won the last

:19:18. > :19:22.two. They were really good in a 1-0 to Celtic before that. They should

:19:23. > :19:27.have beaten Hearts. They were all over Hearts and should have won it.

:19:28. > :19:34.So to draw here, it has taken me by surprise.

:19:35. > :19:37.It's a great point for them but Inverness Caledonian Thistle have

:19:38. > :19:42.finished in really good spirits. It looks it hey not be enough points

:19:43. > :19:47.to keep them at the top? But they are in the right direction. They

:19:48. > :19:53.have traction. They are moving forward, scoring goals, OK, 0-0

:19:54. > :19:57.today but an improving side. And your game, Motherwell, Hamilton,

:19:58. > :20:02.the young McCue. He is back. He set up the goal

:20:03. > :20:06.today. He had a horrific injury at the start of the year, it took a

:20:07. > :20:08.while. I'm delighted to see him back.

:20:09. > :20:11.Into the Championship, just one match still underway St Mirren

:20:12. > :20:13.at home to their local rivals Morton.

:20:14. > :20:16.The other four fixtures all done and dusted, let's find out

:20:17. > :20:18.Falkirk versus Hibs was first to finish.

:20:19. > :20:21.So let's find out what happened at the Falkirk stadium

:20:22. > :20:35.Hibs had to per sear what could be a priceless victory. The winning goal

:20:36. > :20:40.with three minutes remaining. There had been little between the two

:20:41. > :20:47.sides in the contest. Falkirk broke the deadlock. Converting from close

:20:48. > :20:52.range for the second attempt but the home side lead lasted only a few

:20:53. > :20:55.minutes. Hibs had to battle hard for the victory to restore momentum to

:20:56. > :20:58.their pursuit of the championship title.

:20:59. > :21:00.A dozen games unbeaten in the Championship helped

:21:01. > :21:02.Dundee United to the top of the Championship: They were away

:21:03. > :21:05.to part timers Dumbarton today; worth noting that the Sons had

:21:06. > :21:07.already beaten United at the Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium -

:21:08. > :21:15.from where Jonathan Sutherland reports.

:21:16. > :21:21.1-0 and Dundee United relinquish their lead at the top of the

:21:22. > :21:26.championship. Here in terrible conditions. Strangely a repeat of

:21:27. > :21:32.the score line between the sides in August. And the same goalscorer,

:21:33. > :21:36.Mark Docherty. And the blustery conditions helped it. A cross from

:21:37. > :21:43.the left-hand side. But it evaded everyone in the box and the wind

:21:44. > :21:51.helped to whip the ball into the net to give Dumbarton a lead. United

:21:52. > :21:58.struggled to get going. Simon Murray ruled out for off side. In the

:21:59. > :22:04.second half United tried harder to get the equaliser that they needed.

:22:05. > :22:10.Substitute Smith had a deflected shot on the roof of the net. And

:22:11. > :22:14.then stoppage time. Donaldson hitting the post with a header. But

:22:15. > :22:19.not their day. A hugely important three points for the home side. A

:22:20. > :22:24.horrible Hogmanay for United. Next up, a top of the table clash with

:22:25. > :22:31.Hibs on Friday. Next up is an update from the Ross

:22:32. > :22:37.County versus Inverness Derby in the Highlands. A goal? It is Inverness

:22:38. > :22:46.three, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, two. Inverness hit a shot. It was

:22:47. > :22:50.saved but then substitute Fisher managed to poke it in and Inverness

:22:51. > :22:55.are back in the game. On to a Championship match involving

:22:56. > :22:58.two teams desperate for a win; Queen of the South who hadn't had one

:22:59. > :23:15.since September, and Ayr United It is 0-0. Queen's fast rest out of

:23:16. > :23:26.the traps. As the first half progressed, the

:23:27. > :23:32.visitors looked good for the goal. Half-time approached and Dobie

:23:33. > :23:37.passed up an opportunity for the homeside, Dobie, Jordan and marshal

:23:38. > :23:44.all with chances. Lyle had incompetent ball over the net twice

:23:45. > :23:48.but the flag was up for off side. A free kick, it almost sneaked in

:23:49. > :23:53.off the back post but nobody found the net.

:23:54. > :23:58.0-0. Now, the Queen of the south

:23:59. > :24:03.championship. Change at the top? A Goodwin. A big surprise, Dundee

:24:04. > :24:09.United losing for the first time since September, I think.

:24:10. > :24:14.They did lose to Dumbarton. 1-0, I didn't see that coming. They

:24:15. > :24:21.hit the post later on. But a boost for Hibs. They will go nip and tuck

:24:22. > :24:27.until the end of the season. At the moment Hibs are in front. It was

:24:28. > :24:32.interesting to see, a goal for Chris Commons and an assist for Chris

:24:33. > :24:37.Commons. I don't think he is 100% fit but he is having an impact.

:24:38. > :24:44.He is there until the end of the year? The 15th of January was the

:24:45. > :24:51.sign-off. But he enjoys playing. Is there a point to go back to Celtic

:24:52. > :24:55.to play in the U21 s? He is a player.

:24:56. > :24:57.Yes, and the 6th of January, a fantastic game. Looking forward to

:24:58. > :25:00.Yes, and the 6th of January, a that one. The two teams fighting it

:25:01. > :25:03.Yes, and the 6th of January, a out. Real competition. I didn't

:25:04. > :25:07.think that Dundee United would be challenging that much this year. So

:25:08. > :25:12.they have done well after this season. A lot of change there. They

:25:13. > :25:19.could struggle but look at where they are. A fantastic be job. That

:25:20. > :25:27.can go either way. Let's find out how it is going St

:25:28. > :25:35.Mort morn against Morton. There is 80 minutes on the top it is

:25:36. > :25:39.St Mirren, one, Morton nil, thanks to Gary McKenzie's heard. Morton

:25:40. > :25:48.flying with pressure. An effort just wide from a corner.

:25:49. > :25:56.Tomas O'Ware has scored nine goals in the past year. He was close

:25:57. > :26:03.there. A good attendance in Paisley, 4092 souls braved the wind and the

:26:04. > :26:07.rain. 1362 are Morton fans but they tonight have anything to cheer about

:26:08. > :26:11.The last round of Premiership matches of 2016 kicked off last

:26:12. > :26:12.night when Hearts played Aberdeen at Tynecastle.

:26:13. > :26:14.Hearts hoping to build on their midweek thrashing

:26:15. > :26:16.of Kilmarnock, Aberdeen hoping to get their third league

:26:17. > :26:23.There was just the one goal in it, and here it is:

:26:24. > :26:31.Craig no surprise who popped up with this one? John I Hayes is going

:26:32. > :26:36.well. Watch him. He comes to the front of the box. Darting from the

:26:37. > :26:43.edge to the back post. That was clever. Right in the box. A good

:26:44. > :26:48.cross from McGinnin. I watched the game last night. When you go to

:26:49. > :26:52.Tynecastle, you expect to be under pressure. That Hearts will give a

:26:53. > :27:01.tough game. That was not the case last night. I thought Aberdeen

:27:02. > :27:07.dominated for a long period. And just two wins for them against

:27:08. > :27:08.Tynecastle in the last decade? And they were not playing anything be

:27:09. > :27:13.Tynecastle in the last decade? And like their best. That was a big win.

:27:14. > :27:17.It was not a reflection of the dominance in their match. They were

:27:18. > :27:22.on top for the vast majority of the game. For Hearts it is troubling

:27:23. > :27:27.times. It was said after that they didn't

:27:28. > :27:31.have the required amount of physicality.

:27:32. > :27:37.We can hear from the man himself now. Both spoke to our man at the

:27:38. > :27:42.match. Initially we probably last the fight

:27:43. > :27:48.to make the game we wanted it to be. It was difficult for us to get

:27:49. > :27:52.started. You know, the game became closer to what Aberdeen wanted. And

:27:53. > :27:56.in those moments, although it was difficult and there was a bit of

:27:57. > :28:01.suffering and stress in there, I think that the players showed good

:28:02. > :28:04.fight and spirit to keep getting through that, that we managed to do

:28:05. > :28:09.up until half-time. Whether it should have been 0-0 it is a valid

:28:10. > :28:15.question but we fought through it. That is a quality. To come here, the

:28:16. > :28:21.away team, the Tynecastle atmosphere, when the Hearts team go

:28:22. > :28:27.off to boos at half-time, you think that is a part of the job done, we

:28:28. > :28:33.have to crank it up. But a good link up play between Kenny and Niall and

:28:34. > :28:38.thankfully it was Johnny that managed to do it. No doubt from me,

:28:39. > :28:42.we were the better team. I thought we were accomplished and tidy.

:28:43. > :28:48.Making good decisions. That went to play. And recognising the strengths

:28:49. > :28:54.of the Hearts team. That is the happiest I have heard

:28:55. > :29:03.him sounding. And no wonder, three wins on the trot? When they are

:29:04. > :29:12.good, they are very, very good. It is puzzling with them not having

:29:13. > :29:16.Rooney in the team. But having Adam Rooney, Nile McGinn and Johnny

:29:17. > :29:18.Hayes, we were puzzled when they have not played. He has tried others

:29:19. > :29:24.and it has not worked. have not played. He has tried others

:29:25. > :29:28.Aberdeen's season started in May it was a long, hard season.

:29:29. > :29:33.He is trying to manage the squad but if those three are playing well,

:29:34. > :29:39.they are a real force. They have the wins, they will want to build on

:29:40. > :29:44.that. They will feature going ahead. Two points behind Rangers but with a

:29:45. > :29:52.game in hand is it down to a race between those two? It looks like it.

:29:53. > :29:59.I think that they need time but when you hear him saying there is a lack

:30:00. > :30:04.of fight in the team... Only in the first 10 minutes.

:30:05. > :30:08.But that is not the case. Hearts have built their success on a

:30:09. > :30:11.physicality, a high octane intensity. Without it they are

:30:12. > :30:15.vulnerable. I have seen them playing against

:30:16. > :30:20.Partick Thistle. That cliche that they used to win

:30:21. > :30:24.the battle first. Go out and win the bat the, the rest will take care of

:30:25. > :30:28.itself. Maybe in the modern language they say you have to control the

:30:29. > :30:33.game but you have to work to control the game. Then you can play. Nowhere

:30:34. > :30:40.near it last night did they control the game at any point And of course

:30:41. > :30:43.missing the principle goalscorer. But also last night, they were

:30:44. > :30:48.playing with one up front. But so many people away from them. No

:30:49. > :30:52.support up to the big boy, Johannsson up front that is not

:30:53. > :30:57.hard. Playing against Hearts there are two or three bodies in the box.

:30:58. > :31:02.Look at Aberdeen's goal, bursting to get into the box. That did not

:31:03. > :31:08.happen with Hearts. He played in the middle of the pitch against Novak,

:31:09. > :31:14.kitschin but he has not the legs to get up there. The break, gives Kath

:31:15. > :31:19.row a time to get his ideas across to Hearts. He will need it. The next

:31:20. > :31:23.two fixtures are Celtic and Rangers away and at home.

:31:24. > :31:29.He has had five games. Has he had time to put his mark on the side? He

:31:30. > :31:34.will want to change things, bring in other players. He must turn it

:31:35. > :31:39.around. Hearts were genuine contenders for second place but they

:31:40. > :31:43.are falling back. St Johnstone barring them today. They are getting

:31:44. > :31:51.close. There could have been a cash cow for

:31:52. > :31:59.Hearts on the transfer window? A big move there, it coulding on ice? It

:32:00. > :32:03.is a big blow to lose that. But give Ian Catterick a chance to establish

:32:04. > :32:08.himself. A young manager coming into the team, coming in the middle of a

:32:09. > :32:14.season, it is difficult. Now he has team to settle in. Bring in players,

:32:15. > :32:22.Craig Levine doing the job alongside him. And the Hearts fans have to cut

:32:23. > :32:25.him slack. Vp He was booed off. Booed off against Inverness

:32:26. > :32:29.Caledonian Thistle as well. They have to calm down. Give him a

:32:30. > :32:34.chance to work with these players, maybe bring in a couple in January.

:32:35. > :32:40.Rogers when he came to Celtic, he said that the fans had to be

:32:41. > :32:47.patient. But he is Rogers. For this man to say it? The football fans are

:32:48. > :32:50.not known for patience. I can understand why some Hearts fans are

:32:51. > :32:58.getting jumpy as the results have not been good.

:32:59. > :33:08.And the win for St Johnstone is a blow to them.

:33:09. > :33:11.But there is a different scenario, it is different to where they have

:33:12. > :33:16.been. They look worse Hearts now, than

:33:17. > :33:23.when Neilson left. Is that understandable?

:33:24. > :33:30.You have designed a system that Hearts. You mentioned Patterson,

:33:31. > :33:33.Nicholson has been out for the last half-dozen games. He is a big-time

:33:34. > :33:37.player. Jamie Walker now has to make things happen in the final third.

:33:38. > :33:41.When they get Mickelson back, that will be a major plus. The manager

:33:42. > :33:47.needs time to get his ideas across and then we will see how they do. He

:33:48. > :33:52.was talking to Chris and said it was another lesson learned? He has had a

:33:53. > :33:55.view. There were lucky against Partick Thistle, drawing a match

:33:56. > :33:59.they should have lost. Against Dundee, they lost a match they

:34:00. > :34:04.should have won. It is all a bit frenetic at the moment. He is

:34:05. > :34:09.learning about his players and the league, he is learning about the

:34:10. > :34:12.support, the media, he is learning one thing that, at a big club like

:34:13. > :34:15.Hearts, you are under pressure all the time. When you don't have

:34:16. > :34:23.experience in a job, there nothing to fall back on. He's got Craig

:34:24. > :34:30.Levine? But you have to make the decisions. You can't go to the

:34:31. > :34:33.stands and ask Craig Levine. When you don't have the experience to

:34:34. > :34:37.fall back and think, what did I do there? I heard a manager talking

:34:38. > :34:41.about last night, they were brilliant until half-time, his team

:34:42. > :34:47.talk, everything organised, and suddenly the opposition scores ten

:34:48. > :34:51.seconds before half-time. Now you have to quickly change and find

:34:52. > :34:55.their way of doing it. That is the experience and the learning. Will he

:34:56. > :35:03.be given time to learn? I'm sure he will. I'm sure he will, five games,

:35:04. > :35:07.some have been ropey. He has a very supportive board, that believe in

:35:08. > :35:13.him. At his full-time in the last derby of the day. Ross County

:35:14. > :35:22.against Inverness has come to a conclusion. The final score, 3-2 to

:35:23. > :35:29.Ross County. No wonder Liam Boss was happy. Let's hear what Martin has to

:35:30. > :35:37.say about the match. Full-time, 3-2. Liam Boyce delivering the goals,

:35:38. > :35:46.which let them enter the year on a high. He netted very early. Davies

:35:47. > :35:52.on a corner. Boyce anticipated to nod home. Inverness responded well

:35:53. > :35:59.and got back on level terms. County responded quickly again. Boyce fired

:36:00. > :36:06.in on an angle. He should have had a third, when he went wide from close

:36:07. > :36:11.range. Martin Woods run beyond and fired into the corner. Credit for

:36:12. > :36:16.the visitors, keeping ongoing. Alex Fisher knocked home. They made it

:36:17. > :36:19.nervous as Inverness pressed. Ten games without a win. They prop

:36:20. > :36:34.everybody else up. Contrasting fortunes for both clubs.

:36:35. > :36:44.It means Caledonian Thistle and the year as black markers. You don't see

:36:45. > :36:49.as a team like that, they'll always solid and dependable, but they have

:36:50. > :36:53.been losing goals hand over fist. County, the home form is usually

:36:54. > :36:58.strong. A couple of home wins against Aberdeen. A local derby, one

:36:59. > :37:06.that they want to win. Inverness have a spectacular record. Leaves

:37:07. > :37:11.County seven points off the bottom? It shows you how bonkers this league

:37:12. > :37:12.is. They have a goal difference of -13, it is only their third league

:37:13. > :37:20.win since August. They are in the -13, it is only their third league

:37:21. > :37:24.top six. A lot of draws in there! A lot of draws and Liam Boyce goals.

:37:25. > :37:30.With the goal difference, do you think they will be in the market for

:37:31. > :37:35.defensive back-up? Inverness? County. They were talking about it

:37:36. > :37:44.the other night, journalists saying that his chairman might, but he

:37:45. > :37:53.didn't want to bring in as many. A goal, who is it for? Into the third

:37:54. > :37:57.minute of added time, St Mirren are winning 1-0. A last gasp equaliser

:37:58. > :38:04.for third place Morton. Ricky Lambie. It was a corner from Forbes.

:38:05. > :38:11.He hit the bar in the first half, and he was there to put it home, low

:38:12. > :38:13.and into the bottom corner. St Mirren are absolutely gutted. They

:38:14. > :38:20.looked like they were going to get a precious win at the bottom and

:38:21. > :38:30.reduce the deficit. Morton have got the equaliser. About 30 seconds of

:38:31. > :38:40.injury time left. 1-1 in Paisley. There is still time! St Mirren have

:38:41. > :38:47.a habit of going ahead and not closing matches? It is another

:38:48. > :38:51.point. When you lose a late goal, it is a sore one to take, but they are

:38:52. > :38:55.making progress. They have some impetus. They have a couple of wins

:38:56. > :39:01.and drawers, something to build on. Tom? A very optimistic view of

:39:02. > :39:09.things. At the start of the season, they were going nowhere. Now, they

:39:10. > :39:16.have something to build on. That is a secular, if it ends 1-1. They end

:39:17. > :39:19.the year feeling pretty good about themselves, but a draw is not going

:39:20. > :39:22.to send them into the New Year feeling bad about themselves. They

:39:23. > :39:33.need to get their skates on, but they are improving. Is that Howard

:39:34. > :39:41.finished? Yes, a terrible feeling for St Mirren funds, almost 5000

:39:42. > :39:47.fans here. -- fans. They thought they were going to go home happy,

:39:48. > :39:52.with a reduced gap at the bottom. A brilliant late goal by Morton,

:39:53. > :39:56.Rickie Lambert, poking home after a scramble from a corner. That was

:39:57. > :39:59.Rickie Lambert, poking home after a after Gary McKenzie had given St

:40:00. > :40:07.Mirren a first half lead, a header from a corner. Morton, in the second

:40:08. > :40:14.half, reduced to ten men when McDonough was sent off. He aimed a

:40:15. > :40:18.kick, after a tangle on the ground. It didn't look like Morton were

:40:19. > :40:21.going to score. St Mirren seemed comfortable. Jack Ross, on the

:40:22. > :40:27.touchline, barking out instructions like he was playing Charente is.

:40:28. > :40:36.They tried to cling on, but they couldn't do that. It has finished

:40:37. > :40:48.1-1. -- playing charades. We can now hear from some Premiership managers.

:40:49. > :40:50.99% of the game, we are happy with. We had enough opportunities and

:40:51. > :40:55.should maybe score three four, and We had enough opportunities and

:40:56. > :41:01.should be over. Again, we are losing points in the last seconds of the

:41:02. > :41:08.game. We are leaving people standing at the side of the box, which is

:41:09. > :41:11.criminal. We kept going, we could have lost another one a couple of

:41:12. > :41:16.times, but we could have got the equaliser earlier. In the end, the

:41:17. > :41:24.guy who, or one of the guys, who we want the chance to fall to, it fell

:41:25. > :41:30.to him and he buried it. Luckily there were 25 seconds to go, a good

:41:31. > :41:34.time to score. Criminal neglect Iain Hamilton? You can understand the

:41:35. > :41:41.manager, Tommy Times has he watched his team go ahead and failed to win

:41:42. > :41:45.games? They have won three home matches this year. This year they

:41:46. > :41:49.managed to beat Ross County and Aberdeen. They have not managed an

:41:50. > :41:55.away win so far this year in the league. Would that be 11 draws they

:41:56. > :42:02.have had? They just cannot pick up three points. They cannot get wins

:42:03. > :42:10.in front of their own fans. As a centre-half, also, somebody that

:42:11. > :42:13.would be out there. He can see what should be happening, leadership at

:42:14. > :42:20.the back, organisation and getting it right. Willing to defend the

:42:21. > :42:24.goal. It is the eighth 1-1 goal, the fourth time this season they have

:42:25. > :42:32.conceded a late equaliser. No wonder he is doing his nut. A convincing

:42:33. > :42:37.win for Dundee over St Johnstone, 3-0. The manager spoke to Brian

:42:38. > :42:42.MacLachlan. This has been a tough start. It has not been easy. Look at

:42:43. > :42:47.the home form over the last five games, 13 points out of 15, we have

:42:48. > :42:49.to continue that. The players deserve a break, mentally and

:42:50. > :42:53.physically. I think it is good to get away from the club and maybe

:42:54. > :43:01.away from me at times. I think it is good for us, a couple of days, there

:43:02. > :43:07.will be back, working hard, and coming back. Boo it's hard to lose a

:43:08. > :43:09.derby game, and we think that we shouldn't. I will not take anything

:43:10. > :43:18.from what the players have achieved in 2016. Clubs with many more

:43:19. > :43:23.resources, we continually do better than them. Who would want to get a

:43:24. > :43:27.break from him, in that form? Delighted. I think he is right, it's

:43:28. > :43:34.great to get away. I don't know if you ever had a break at Christmas or

:43:35. > :43:41.New Year? When you were playing? No! I think it must be great, going away

:43:42. > :43:49.with their wife and family. I'm not sure, if you have to hang around

:43:50. > :43:57.here. A mental break away from Paul Hartley, I think that helps. Tommy

:43:58. > :44:03.Wright, disappointed. A staunch supporter of him? That is another

:44:04. > :44:08.one that surprised me, Dundee have found this capacity to score goals.

:44:09. > :44:12.They lost to Stuart, in the early part of the season, it was all about

:44:13. > :44:18.where on earth they were going to find goals from. Scored three today,

:44:19. > :44:22.three against Hearts a week ago, a great feat of management to be able

:44:23. > :44:30.to turn that around. I know they are not in the top six yet, but they are

:44:31. > :44:33.in the right direction. It is an unusual type of loss for St

:44:34. > :44:38.Johnstone. He was right what he said, what they have achieved for a

:44:39. > :44:41.small club. Every year they are up there. He has done a magnificent

:44:42. > :44:47.job. As an ex-goalkeeper, he sees the game, you knows what is going on

:44:48. > :44:52.and deserves every credit. Is there any goalkeeper in the history of the

:44:53. > :44:58.game that moves like that? If you make a mistake, you have to get

:44:59. > :44:59.criticism, but in the main... We can now go to the classified results

:45:00. > :48:37.round-up. Let's look at the league tables,

:48:38. > :49:31.starting with the Scottish Premiership.

:49:32. > :49:35.Livingston lost today, but they stay at the top. Airdrie have not played

:49:36. > :50:09.yet. Chelsea are going from strength to

:50:10. > :50:14.strength, another win for them. They are nine points clear of Liverpool,

:50:15. > :50:31.but Liverpool are at home to Manchester City this evening.

:50:32. > :50:36.Newcastle United are the leaders in the Championship, having played one

:50:37. > :50:53.more match than Brighton, and one point better off than them.

:50:54. > :51:01.Right, I have already told you that Chelsea beat Stoke this afternoon.

:51:02. > :51:07.We can get details from Jacqui Oatley at Stamford Bridge. Has

:51:08. > :51:10.finished here, 4-2. A fairly comfortable, in the end. Chelsea

:51:11. > :51:14.have made it 13 Premier League wins in a row since the back-to-back

:51:15. > :51:17.defeats against Liverpool and Arsenal in September. They have

:51:18. > :51:22.equalled Arsenal's record for a single season from 15 years ago, and

:51:23. > :51:26.a club record of ten successive wins in all competitions. There were made

:51:27. > :51:31.to work hard by Stoke, who have not won in five and have conceded 11

:51:32. > :51:35.goals in their last three away games. Cahill powered Chelsea in

:51:36. > :51:43.front with a first half header. Bruno Martins Indi levelled after

:51:44. > :51:49.the break. Willian scored twice, either side of a Peter Crouch

:51:50. > :51:58.equaliser. Diego Costa, five minutes before full-time, his 18th goal of

:51:59. > :52:02.the season. Antonio Conte is going around every player and celebrating

:52:03. > :52:09.with them. A crucial game ahead of their game against Spurs. Vicki

:52:10. > :52:13.Sparkes is next up. She was watching Manchester United against

:52:14. > :52:18.Middlesbrough at Old Trafford. A really dramatic finish. Manchester

:52:19. > :52:21.United beat Middlesbrough 2-1, two goals in two minutes, right at the

:52:22. > :52:33.death, taking Manchester United to within a point of the Champions

:52:34. > :52:36.League places. Martial's goal, and Pogba, after Leadbetter's effort

:52:37. > :52:42.looked to have earned Middlesbrough a win. There was a controversial

:52:43. > :52:45.disallowed goal for Ibrahimovic in the first half, but it doesn't

:52:46. > :52:51.matter for them now. Their fifth straight win in the Premier League.

:52:52. > :52:54.You can hear the song around me, they go marching on. Middlesbrough

:52:55. > :52:58.did not take chances on the break, apart from that one by Leadbetter.

:52:59. > :53:01.They will feel they could have got more out of the game, Manchester

:53:02. > :53:06.United would say they created enough to win it. In the end, that is what

:53:07. > :53:13.they did. Full-time, 2-1. Let's go to the foot of the table, to Wales.

:53:14. > :53:18.Swansea, managerless, at home to Bournemouth. Let's hear how it went.

:53:19. > :53:24.3-0 to Bournemouth. The caretaker boss could not work any magic. Bob

:53:25. > :53:27.Bradley might have gone, the issues remain the same. A few glimpses of

:53:28. > :53:33.hope, if I am honest. The fourth game in five here, when they have

:53:34. > :53:36.conceded three. Joshua King put icing on the cake after goals by

:53:37. > :53:41.Benik Afobe and Ryan Fraser, Bournemouth's second away of the

:53:42. > :53:45.season. A tough baptism for anybody who takes charge, reinforcements are

:53:46. > :53:49.needed quickly. Staying in the lower reaches, we can find out how

:53:50. > :53:54.Sunderland fared away to Burnley this afternoon. Here is Damian

:53:55. > :53:58.Johnson. Andre Gray became the first Burnley player to score a Premier

:53:59. > :53:59.League hat-trick, and created a real platform to stay up in the New Year.

:54:00. > :54:04.He pounced onto some defensive platform to stay up in the New Year.

:54:05. > :54:07.uncertainty to score the opener. He platform to stay up in the New Year.

:54:08. > :54:14.rounded the keeper to make it 2-0, and latched onto the three Mack'

:54:15. > :54:22.assist. Barnes himself got a penalty. Jermain Defoe got a

:54:23. > :54:26.consolation for Sunderland. Wracked by injuries, and two more today.

:54:27. > :54:40.What a year for Burnley. Quite a year for Leicester as well, at home

:54:41. > :54:42.to West Ham United. A fitting end to 2016, so many great memories. This

:54:43. > :54:46.game will not be one that is talked about for too long, but it could be

:54:47. > :54:53.pivotal, coming into the New Year. The winner, a terrific header by

:54:54. > :54:59.Islam Slimani, sending it across the goal and into the corner. Bilic will

:55:00. > :55:04.be unhappy that their winning streak comes to an end with a whimper. A

:55:05. > :55:12.first clean sheet in 11 games for the Foxes, the pizza is on Claudio

:55:13. > :55:16.Ranieri tonight. Chelsea, are they confounding expectations this year?

:55:17. > :55:20.I don't think many people had them down as potential champions?

:55:21. > :55:24.Absolutely, compare last year, how they went off the rails, the group

:55:25. > :55:29.of players, some of them are still there and they went off the rails

:55:30. > :55:32.also. He obviously has this managerial thing that he makes a

:55:33. > :55:37.connection with the players somehow. You see how he talks in the

:55:38. > :55:41.interview, going around the players, he has a connection. He is a young

:55:42. > :55:46.man, he is hyperactive when you see him on the sideline. I watched him

:55:47. > :55:50.on the European Championships, in the summer, and he is the same. Off

:55:51. > :55:55.the pitch, calm and collected, knows what he's about, Italian, strong

:55:56. > :56:01.tactics. He has obviously changed it around. He took all of the report is

:56:02. > :56:05.out for a pint after the Conference. That should be across the board in

:56:06. > :56:10.Scottish football! Pledge of journalists would take him up on

:56:11. > :56:16.that. You look at what Brendan Rodgers has done that Celtic, he has

:56:17. > :56:20.done something that is similar that Chelsea. He has revitalised Coster,

:56:21. > :56:26.Hazard, playing three at the back, three outstanding defenders. That

:56:27. > :56:31.formation is working like a dream. A brilliant manager and a brilliant

:56:32. > :56:35.man manager. They can't lose, Liverpool and Manchester City are in

:56:36. > :56:40.action against each other. A draw is good, if one team wins, the other

:56:41. > :56:43.drops off the pace? Doesn't matter, because Chelsea are getting win

:56:44. > :56:47.after win, the other teams are cutting each other's throats and

:56:48. > :56:49.taking points off each other. There will be difficult to catch because

:56:50. > :56:54.taking points off each other. There they don't have a weakness. I think

:56:55. > :57:03.Manchester United have done well, he has the big players playing now,

:57:04. > :57:08.Paul Pogba. 30 million, it's about time! If they get to the top four

:57:09. > :57:13.this year, I think he has done a good job. Poor result for David

:57:14. > :57:20.Moyes's team, 4-1, beaten, Sunderland. Swansea, managerless,

:57:21. > :57:26.they will find it tough in the summer? Probably good news for David

:57:27. > :57:29.Moyes that Swansea of floundering with no manager, Hull are struggling

:57:30. > :57:34.to pick up points, to be fair to Sunderland, they've had a bit of an

:57:35. > :57:44.upturn recently. At Turf Moor is a tough place to go. Now we will head

:57:45. > :57:50.to Firhill. Alistair spoke to the managers. I thought we'd put a lot

:57:51. > :57:57.into the first half. The conditions weren't great. I think that played a

:57:58. > :58:03.part. Kilmarnock at two of the best chances in the second half. After

:58:04. > :58:10.the first half, we just couldn't get in their runner. Hard-fought point,

:58:11. > :58:14.with injuries to key players, important players to us, asking

:58:15. > :58:20.loves to play in different positions to what they are normally used to,

:58:21. > :58:24.young players alongside other young players, when you want them

:58:25. > :58:29.alongside experience. For us to keep a clean sheet against a team

:58:30. > :58:34.informed, going into the game in the second half, we had our own chances.

:58:35. > :58:38.A good basis to start. For us, it means we can regroup, hopefully get

:58:39. > :58:42.the majority of the injured players back for the Hamilton cup tie.

:58:43. > :58:48.Hopefully have new players coming in also. You are the go to man for

:58:49. > :58:52.Partick Thistle and Kilmarnock, what did you make of that? Lee Clark

:58:53. > :58:59.talking about regrouping and freshen things up? You likes to do that. He

:59:00. > :59:03.needs 115 players, that is what it seems like in the summer. He summed

:59:04. > :59:07.it up quite nicely, it is a really good point for them, a clean sheet

:59:08. > :59:12.against Partick Thistle, who have been in really good form. That is a

:59:13. > :59:13.bit of a foundation. He needed to stop the bleeding, in terms of

:59:14. > :59:18.conceding goals and dropping points. stop the bleeding, in terms of

:59:19. > :59:23.He has a point there. A really good Partick Thistle side. Four points

:59:24. > :59:26.off the bottom spot, that looks good, given how concentrated the

:59:27. > :59:29.teams have been? Everybody down there would love to pick up points

:59:30. > :59:34.on a weekly basis. Sometimes you have to take what you can get.

:59:35. > :59:38.Kilmarnock, the lowest scorers in the league, I think that was a

:59:39. > :59:41.positive result. Victory in the Highlands for Ross County, we can

:59:42. > :59:50.hear from their manager now. Jim McIntyre spoke to Martin Dowden. I

:59:51. > :59:54.think you are a very happy man? Yes, dilated. Really pleasing to get the

:59:55. > :59:58.monkey off our back, we have not beaten Inverness at home since we

:59:59. > :00:02.arrived here. I am delighted for the players. Fabulous effort. I thought

:00:03. > :00:05.was a keenly contested derby. Inverness had a lot of the game as

:00:06. > :00:17.well. I think our chances were better than theirs. We deserved to

:00:18. > :00:20.win. He is so influential? Here's a clever player, we can ask him to

:00:21. > :00:28.move about positions. He can play a deep line, playing a wider area. He

:00:29. > :00:35.has that game awareness, gain knowledge, how to help the

:00:36. > :00:38.opposition. More talk about Liam Boyce, he is thriving? Seven goals

:00:39. > :00:45.in his last eight. When you have a striker like that in this league, a

:00:46. > :00:53.dependable goal-scorer, you will be on the top six. He is a bit of a

:00:54. > :00:57.predator, so consistent. You cannot replace a body like that. You said

:00:58. > :01:01.he is a predator, will predatory clubs be looking at him in the

:01:02. > :01:05.transfer window? I don't think so, I think he is happy there. He will

:01:06. > :01:12.score goals, of course, but I think he is happy at Ross County. They

:01:13. > :01:22.will not wanting to go anywhere. I'm looking at Hearts, places like that,

:01:23. > :01:25.where they think, he could save us from relegation, or get us up there.

:01:26. > :01:30.That is why this transfer window was horrible for some of the managers.

:01:31. > :01:38.If you lose a player like that, what a difference that can make.

:01:39. > :01:47.Let's head back to Hearts now. Richie, obviously disappointed but

:01:48. > :01:53.was there is a part that was especially difficult? The set piece.

:01:54. > :01:58.It should have been cleared off the near post. . It is poor from my

:01:59. > :02:02.point of view. You are up against it straight away. But credit to the

:02:03. > :02:08.players. We stuck in there, got our goal. Back in there, the second goal

:02:09. > :02:18.was probably the poorer goal to give away. By letting in Boyce. School

:02:19. > :02:21.boy stuff. He crosses, there is a deflection of meekiness, it goes

:02:22. > :02:26.into the back of the net. When year down there, these things happen.

:02:27. > :02:31.But, disappointing. Today is probably the first day I thought we

:02:32. > :02:34.looked a bit nervy, a bit low in confidence.

:02:35. > :02:40.All over the park. I thought we were low on confidence. When you are like

:02:41. > :02:44.that... Craig, interesting, Richie says he thinks that he are low in

:02:45. > :02:51.confidence, which he has not seen previously? No but on a run of ten

:02:52. > :02:55.games, that is a going to happen. Conceding goals, only winning one

:02:56. > :02:56.last season. The last victory against Motherwell.

:02:57. > :02:59.They are struggling. That's just about that

:03:00. > :03:02.for today and 2016 from us. We've got time to re-cap today's

:03:03. > :03:19.results in Scotland's Wins for ab-Dean. A Goodwin at

:03:20. > :03:34.Tynecastle. All square in the Lanarkshire Derby.

:03:35. > :03:50.Championship, a big win for Dumbarton.

:03:51. > :03:52.Now you can see highlights of the Premiership matches on Monday

:03:53. > :03:55.night at 7pm on BBC Two Scotland, repeated after Match

:03:56. > :03:59.Now the Premiership may be going into hibernation, but we're not -

:04:00. > :04:04.the Results Show is back next week at 4:30 on BBC One.

:04:05. > :04:06.The derby day delights continue on Off the Ball's

:04:07. > :04:09.Saturday Supplement - with Stuart Cosgrove

:04:10. > :04:16.but not Tam Cowan, Annie McGuire standing in today.

:04:17. > :04:27.Craig and Tom for their wisdom wit and wherewithal.

:04:28. > :04:30.And thanks to you for watching - see you in 2017.
