:00:37. > :00:42.It's the ultimate day in Ulster colleges football. There are the

:00:43. > :00:48.students, the players. They've been here just once before in the final.

:00:49. > :00:55.St Patrick's Maghera have been here so many times, aiming to where the

:00:56. > :01:05.15th cup. It is about the families and the supporters. Welcome to the

:01:06. > :01:09.2016 McRory cup final in the splendid sunshine of the athletic

:01:10. > :01:14.Grounds. St Paul's Bessbrook and St Patrick's Maghera. You may be

:01:15. > :01:21.watching on BBC television or right across the world on the World Wide

:01:22. > :01:25.Web. You can get in contact. We would love to hear your thoughts and

:01:26. > :01:30.opinions. It is not just about the McRory cup, there is also the

:01:31. > :01:39.MacLarnon Cup. Highlights at half-time. Everybody here in the

:01:40. > :01:48.beautiful athletics Grounds. We have Ryan McCue here. Let's talk about,

:01:49. > :01:53.what shall we talk about? Your suit, you are looking the part. It is a

:01:54. > :01:58.special occasion, isn't it? Great occasion with the sun shining. We

:01:59. > :02:02.had a great MacLarnon Cup final beforehand, and I am looking forward

:02:03. > :02:08.to this. People might think of Armagh when they think of you, and

:02:09. > :02:14.the 1994 cup final. I hope they don't because we were beaten on that

:02:15. > :02:19.day but it was a fabulous occasion. That defeat did me no harm because

:02:20. > :02:22.you learn a lot of lessons. Somebody will have to lose and somebody will

:02:23. > :02:29.have a great journey ending in winning the final. If you are

:02:30. > :02:32.playing colleges football, this is where you want to become a leading

:02:33. > :02:39.out your team and St Patrick's Maghera eight in the MacRory Cup

:02:40. > :02:43.final. That is the trophy they want, particularly Saint Pauls, they've

:02:44. > :02:46.never lifted that trophy. They have played in the competition for times

:02:47. > :02:53.in total and been here just once in the final in 2013. They lost on that

:02:54. > :03:16.day, and they lost against today's opponents.

:03:17. > :03:27.It was very sad to see the boys cry. Even though we lost the game on that

:03:28. > :03:36.day, that team inspired another generation of young fellows. Even

:03:37. > :03:43.though we didn't recognise it at the time it was success in that sense.

:03:44. > :03:59.The different year, a different thing. Key to success is the care.

:04:00. > :04:03.He is dreaming about winning the MacRory Cup, most of the time. We

:04:04. > :04:10.don't put too much pressure on ourselves. You may not play great or

:04:11. > :04:16.something like that but it will be special, my family will be talking

:04:17. > :04:21.about this. It's a really big game for me so hopefully we can do it. If

:04:22. > :04:25.they do it will be the man on the left lifting the precious cup. You

:04:26. > :04:35.might not recognise him but you probably recognise his dad. If we

:04:36. > :04:41.can win Paddy 's day, the first one is always the hardest one to win, so

:04:42. > :04:46.it will be unbelievable. It will just be another one for them but for

:04:47. > :04:50.us it will be very special. So, Saint Pauls ready for action but one

:04:51. > :04:54.of those players of St Patrick's Maghera, their supporters are

:04:55. > :04:59.hearing their thousands, and varies the team led by Conor Glass. They've

:05:00. > :05:04.been here so many times before and won the competition 14 times.

:05:05. > :05:09.There's the trophy they want to get their hands on. They are led by that

:05:10. > :05:14.man in the middle, Conor Glass. He is off to play Australian rules in

:05:15. > :05:15.the near future. His fourth MacRory Cup final and he is leading them

:05:16. > :05:52.this afternoon. The first thing I did was go to see

:05:53. > :05:59.the sports team. Baby faced. Lost my head a few times, especially after

:06:00. > :06:05.losing. Made friends with most of the players. What was it like when

:06:06. > :06:13.you were brought in as a fourth-year? Amazing. I watched it

:06:14. > :06:23.about ten times over and over again. Something to be proud of. One of the

:06:24. > :06:31.main things I got out of being thrown in the deep end, I have been

:06:32. > :06:35.able to mature as a person. Talisman in the group but carries a

:06:36. > :06:44.tremendous modestly as well, and a good sense of responsibility. He may

:06:45. > :07:04.be spoken about the same terms as Jim McKee, Darren Nicholls. How many

:07:05. > :07:13.games have you lost? Not many. There is a fierce rivalry between all

:07:14. > :07:19.those players. I was one of those people who looked up to an athlete

:07:20. > :07:23.from a young age. People will be looking up to me hopefully in the

:07:24. > :07:26.next couple of years. Just being a good role model. I've played enough

:07:27. > :07:37.games to understand what I have to do. It is no different. It is

:07:38. > :07:41.something to look forward to. He will be a massive loss to Caylib

:07:42. > :07:46.football when he takes up a professional contract in Australian

:07:47. > :07:51.rules. Dermot but Nicholl played in five MacRory Cup finals, it sounds

:07:52. > :07:56.incredible, but the fact that young man is playing in his fourth final

:07:57. > :07:59.is a staggering accomplishment. When he was only a fourth-year he looked

:08:00. > :08:05.very comfortable and like a grown man. He has developed into a superb

:08:06. > :08:10.player. It can go one of two ways, if you have too much success early

:08:11. > :08:16.in your career. In fairness to, glassy has kicked on and moulded

:08:17. > :08:23.himself into a leader of this team. He has accomplished players around

:08:24. > :08:27.him. At the same time you have to give it to the light, even though he

:08:28. > :08:35.has had so much success he still looks as hungry as ever. He

:08:36. > :08:41.certainly has one big game left in him for today. Let's talk about

:08:42. > :08:46.Saint Paul's. What they lack in pedigree probably doesn't matter

:08:47. > :08:53.much for this site. I imagine they will not be bound down by history as

:08:54. > :08:59.a new team. Will they care that their opponents have won so many and

:09:00. > :09:02.they've won so few? Definitely not. In schools football it is a

:09:03. > :09:09.different team every year, coming up against different players. They just

:09:10. > :09:12.need to enjoy their football and play the best they can. You made

:09:13. > :09:18.your championship debut for Donegal at the age of 18, in front of a big

:09:19. > :09:24.crowd, that must have had a big impression. For those young players,

:09:25. > :09:28.live on television, with a massive crowd, will they be bewildered? It

:09:29. > :09:39.will be tough and there will be nervous. Everyone is going to be

:09:40. > :09:43.nervous. There is great support here from both sides. Take it all in, and

:09:44. > :09:48.once it is thrown in, the first two or three minutes, the nerves will

:09:49. > :09:54.get underway. Thank you. Splendid sunshine here, absolutely baking,

:09:55. > :09:59.but the boys are looking well in their 3-piece suits. Thomas always

:10:00. > :10:05.dresses well and he is with a few interesting supporters. If the area

:10:06. > :10:09.behind the goals is dominated by Saint Paul's, the section behind me

:10:10. > :10:16.is all blue and white for St Patrick's Maghera. Fantastic buzz

:10:17. > :10:21.around the stands here, and there are number of fans, parents,

:10:22. > :10:25.spectators. If we come down here, two of the best seats in the house

:10:26. > :10:31.are dominated by a few very familiar faces. We've got the former St

:10:32. > :10:37.Paul's Bessbrook pupil Steve McDonald. Two years ago, how much

:10:38. > :10:42.will that benefit them this time? They've got the experience of being

:10:43. > :10:48.to the final before. It should stand them in good stead. Who will be the

:10:49. > :10:54.key players? You have to look at their captain, Burns. But the

:10:55. > :11:04.problem is he's coming up against Conor Glass. For me he is the best

:11:05. > :11:08.player in this age group. This is the trophy both sides are playing

:11:09. > :11:14.for sitting around here. Who will get their hands on that famous

:11:15. > :11:21.MacRory Cup? Just behind Stephen Lee of the principle of St Patrick's

:11:22. > :11:26.Maghera. First year at principle, what is it like to be involved in a

:11:27. > :11:32.MacRory Cup decider? Nerve wracking at the moment but amazing. Great

:11:33. > :11:36.feeling. Everybody has been getting ready for a week so we are up for it

:11:37. > :11:41.today. It is not just about the players or the teachers, it is about

:11:42. > :11:48.the pupils in the school. How have they embraced this occasion once

:11:49. > :11:53.again? It has been like this all week in school, our support is

:11:54. > :11:58.renowned across the whole area. It's not just about the players, it is

:11:59. > :12:02.about the school and wider community and everybody is urging everybody on

:12:03. > :12:08.to bring this home. You could hardly get closer to the action, how will

:12:09. > :12:11.you feel? If we win, immeasurable, it will be an absolute delight,

:12:12. > :12:16.especially in my first year as principal of the college. MacRory

:12:17. > :12:20.Cup is massive to the school so it is an important occasion to me

:12:21. > :12:24.particularly in my first year as principal. There will be a lot of

:12:25. > :12:31.nerves on the pitch and in the stands as well. Thank you very much.

:12:32. > :12:37.There is just a cacophony of noise, amazing atmosphere. Hard to think

:12:38. > :12:42.that someone so young, the 16 and 17-year-olds here, I will not call

:12:43. > :12:47.them boys but they are certainly very young man. Always a danger the

:12:48. > :12:52.occasion could get to them. When you look back at 2013, the first

:12:53. > :12:57.occasion for St Paul's in the final, you could say the occasion got to

:12:58. > :13:04.them. The more the game and on, the more St Paul's came into it, and

:13:05. > :13:06.Maghera were sort of hanging on. For the first half-hour St Paul's were

:13:07. > :13:11.finding their feet, today will be different. It is about coming out

:13:12. > :13:15.and concentrating on playing the game. It is a game of football the

:13:16. > :13:21.same as any other except there is a massive prize at the end of it. Who

:13:22. > :13:24.do you expect to win? That's a hard one to call, watching the two

:13:25. > :13:29.semifinals, they were both good games. Maybe the team who gets off

:13:30. > :13:36.to the better start will win. Maghera may make it with their

:13:37. > :13:40.experience. Just about Maghera. This Saint Paul's team are finding their

:13:41. > :13:46.feet in the competition. They have been a breath of fresh air, but I

:13:47. > :13:51.just think Maghera look like big physical units. We look forward to

:13:52. > :13:53.your thoughts through the course of this afternoon. Let's get to the

:13:54. > :14:07.action. COMMENTATOR: This beats the

:14:08. > :14:12.classroom any day of the week. The sunshine of the MacRory Cup final.

:14:13. > :14:16.Martin Clark was a finalist here a decade ago, man of the match on the

:14:17. > :14:21.day even though your school loss. Does it feel like ten years ago? It

:14:22. > :14:26.doesn't, but the experience from the journey was fantastic. These fellows

:14:27. > :14:36.are starting their careers, exciting for them. And right now moment for

:14:37. > :14:37.reflection as we remember a former Maghera player who passed away this

:14:38. > :15:39.week. A beautifully observed minute's

:15:40. > :15:43.silence for Sean Conway from dairy, former MacRory Cup player who passed

:15:44. > :16:53.away this week. This is the moment they've been

:16:54. > :16:56.working for. St Paul's Bessbrook may be relative newcomers but in four

:16:57. > :17:07.years they've reached two finals in the semifinal. In midfield, Burns

:17:08. > :17:13.was a substitute in the final two years ago, he is the team leader

:17:14. > :17:20.today. Much will depend on the scoring power of Liam Kerr, who got

:17:21. > :17:24.eight points in the semifinal win. As for St Patrick's Maghera, going

:17:25. > :17:28.for the third success in four years, if they are going to win it they may

:17:29. > :17:36.think their goalkeeper Shaun Cassidy who made three great semifinal saves

:17:37. > :17:41.in the win over Dungannon. Shea Downey continuity a proud family

:17:42. > :17:45.tradition. Up front they will look to Shane McGrath in, scorer 1-6 in

:17:46. > :18:02.their narrow victory. high standard referee, still playing

:18:03. > :18:07.club football with his club. And here we go. St Patrick's Maghera in

:18:08. > :18:31.blue. St Paul's Bessbrook in the familiar maroon and white.

:18:32. > :18:35.An early opportunity for Maghera to launch their attack with their

:18:36. > :18:41.captain, AFL man in June, Conor Glass takes it quickly. A lovely

:18:42. > :18:45.start by St Patrick's Maghera. Winning the free kick, and that

:18:46. > :18:53.finish from that angle, a phenomenal start. France's Kearney, one of the

:18:54. > :19:00.twins from the club in Derry. That is nice start. Almost an early

:19:01. > :19:11.summer 's day rather than a mid-March day on St Patrick's Day.

:19:12. > :19:16.Maghera look hungry, look eager. Here is the son of the school

:19:17. > :19:26.principal, feeds the ball neatly to Conor Clarke. An early opportunity

:19:27. > :19:35.for Richard Keenan, a late addition to the St Paul's team. It is a

:19:36. > :19:41.family day, of course, and they are enjoying themselves. Here is the

:19:42. > :19:48.late call-up, Richard Keenan of South Armagh. St Paul's will be

:19:49. > :19:49.looking for him as a source of scores in this MacRory Cup decided

:19:50. > :20:04.today. Glass the target, and again he is

:20:05. > :20:08.the recipient. That is a man that St Paul's will have to watch today as

:20:09. > :20:14.Maghera come forward, looking confident in the opening exchanges.

:20:15. > :20:20.Jack Doherty, previous MacRory Cup winner. They are the midfield

:20:21. > :20:34.combination for Saint Pat 's Maghera.

:20:35. > :20:41.Enterprising play by St Patrick's Maghera. A chance for Shane

:20:42. > :20:49.McGuigan! There is the goal! The start gets better and better! 1-1

:20:50. > :20:54.and some fans have yet to take their seats, less than three minutes

:20:55. > :21:01.played! France's Kearney just turned inside, went off the left shoulder,

:21:02. > :21:08.and the awareness to flick it across, took out three defenders. A

:21:09. > :21:12.relatively simple finish. He is deadly from there, it is a brilliant

:21:13. > :21:18.start from Maghera. You fear the worst for Bessbrook. They call him

:21:19. > :21:25.we Shane even though he is six foot two in height. If Maghera were

:21:26. > :21:29.accused of starting slowly in earlier rounds of the MacRory Cup,

:21:30. > :21:58.that cannot be a criticism levelled at them today.

:21:59. > :22:05.The tackling and carrying is ferocious from Maghera in the early

:22:06. > :22:09.moments. Conor Glass is central and pivotal to much of what they are

:22:10. > :22:35.Another chance for Shane McGuigan, thinking again about the goal. The

:22:36. > :22:41.movement inside from Shane McGuigan and Francis Kearney has been

:22:42. > :22:45.delightful. They were providing options. It was an intelligent

:22:46. > :22:51.option for Shane McGuigan to take his point because to go five up is a

:22:52. > :22:55.big score. It was a more difficult opportunity than the one he has just

:22:56. > :23:16.taken, very smart play. Maghera are dominating.

:23:17. > :23:25.Glass fouls, another free. Taken quickly. Ryan McSherry will keep the

:23:26. > :23:39.ball in play. This will be a scoring opportunity

:23:40. > :23:45.for St Paul's, and, boy, do they need it, just to steady the ship,

:23:46. > :23:49.settle things down. It is interesting that Conor Glass and

:23:50. > :23:54.Jonathan Byrd have matched up with each other. I had a feeling that,

:23:55. > :23:58.given their strengths lie in their attacking ability, both boys are

:23:59. > :24:00.doing a lot of damage going forward, so it is great to see them going

:24:01. > :24:10.head-to-head. First scoring opportunity from Shea

:24:11. > :24:15.Loye, not one of his better ones. Drifts wide. Could that be nervous?

:24:16. > :24:21.It wasn't the easiest free you will get, though I was down on the pitch

:24:22. > :24:23.beforehand and the ground was immaculate, the conditions are

:24:24. > :24:33.perfect, so you would expect in two kick that in. Bessbrook will just

:24:34. > :24:36.have to rely on their experience, they will have to try and settle,

:24:37. > :24:43.though Maghera have shown phenomenal start here. Two wides for St Paul's

:24:44. > :25:03.Bessbrook so far. He is judged to have over carried

:25:04. > :25:08.the ball, St Paul's have the free. Aaron Boyle is the man to take it,

:25:09. > :25:16.scored an important goal in their semifinal a few weeks ago.

:25:17. > :25:22.Plenty of composure at the back, Maharaj don't do panic. They fell

:25:23. > :25:27.behind to the Academy Dungannon in the semifinal but they were not

:25:28. > :25:35.fazed and found a way back into the game. They have started like a steam

:25:36. > :25:43.locomotive here. Another opportunity for Tierney. And the ball is in the

:25:44. > :25:51.net again! It is a dream start for St Patrick's Maghera. It is becoming

:25:52. > :26:04.a quarry nightmare for St Paul's. -- a MacRory nightmare. It was a fairly

:26:05. > :26:09.simple finish but the space they are getting, the quarterback make a

:26:10. > :26:12.great run up the ground, knew his limitations, David after the forward

:26:13. > :26:17.and before you know it is in the back of the net. It will be a long

:26:18. > :26:31.way back for Westbrook. 2-2 to know school. -- no score. Even with just

:26:32. > :26:38.eight minutes played the alarm bells now are ringing.

:26:39. > :26:45.At last, Bessbrook have a badly needed school. McGuinness knocked

:26:46. > :26:51.that one over the bar. Badly needed, and John Rafferty knows it. Into the

:26:52. > :26:56.ninth minute now, it was good to see him come through and feed it off, a

:26:57. > :27:00.lovely finish as well. No need to panic just jet, still a lot of game

:27:01. > :27:07.to play and hopefully that will settle this St Paul's team down. A

:27:08. > :27:11.mountain to climb, if not an insurmountable one, but it has

:27:12. > :27:24.certainly been some start by St Patrick's Maghera.

:27:25. > :27:34.Well intercepted by Rory McCann the St Pat's.

:27:35. > :28:02.Ryan Gaskin, also a member of the McCrory 2013 St Paul's panel.

:28:03. > :28:11.Conor Glass was not as intense, that was a fantastic school, dead centre

:28:12. > :28:15.but 40 metres out. He knows this ground well, being an Armagh boy. It

:28:16. > :28:22.is good to see St Paul's showing this courage so early in the game.

:28:23. > :28:42.They have steadied things with those two scores in the last few minutes.

:28:43. > :28:51.A bit more purpose now from St Paul's. Maybe they have decided to

:28:52. > :29:04.let the shackles of a bit, having conceded those two early goals.

:29:05. > :29:12.Lori was trying to do what he could, but his options were limited there.

:29:13. > :29:28.-- Loye. A lovely side footed ball and,

:29:29. > :29:34.almost nonchalantly, a third St Patrick's goal. Brilliant, not an

:29:35. > :29:38.easy path to take. He had to spin round his man, the ball in wasn't

:29:39. > :29:42.ideal but the way he caught it, held off his opponent, and that finish

:29:43. > :29:48.was absolutely brilliant. Those two boys upfront are causing absolute

:29:49. > :29:52.havoc. The way he won the ball, protected the space, took it in,

:29:53. > :29:57.strong enough to hold off the defender, and that finish is so, so

:29:58. > :30:01.good. He made it look easy, if it was to a good it was called us and

:30:02. > :30:05.calmness personified. A third St Patrick's Maghera goal and the gap

:30:06. > :30:14.is nine points already in this MacRory Cup decider. If the first

:30:15. > :30:18.two goals did not reach the Bessbrook crowd, that one certainly

:30:19. > :30:29.has. It is a big ask now, even at this early stage.

:30:30. > :31:03.You can see his influence, he pops up everywhere, little linking moves.

:31:04. > :31:08.Even at this early stage you wonder where the initiative to turn the

:31:09. > :31:28.game is going to come from for St Paul's. Still a long way to go.

:31:29. > :31:54.Under pressure, the shop was Holyrood. -- hurried.

:31:55. > :32:00.Damian O'Hagan, that is more like it, shot straight through, third

:32:01. > :32:05.score the St Paul's. A very clever flick down there from Aaron Boyle. A

:32:06. > :32:12.lovely finish, didn't try to kick it too hard, just floated it upon the

:32:13. > :32:16.wind. Maghera, their two semifinal and quarterfinal opponents, titanic

:32:17. > :32:20.struggles against them, it looks like they have freed up playing

:32:21. > :32:24.against a more familiar opponent, it seems as if they are playing with a

:32:25. > :32:27.lot of pre-med and -- freedom and sometimes that can happen if you

:32:28. > :32:47.have had a difficult path to the final.

:32:48. > :33:03.The sun in their eyes, but it has not distracted them so far.

:33:04. > :33:09.The Maghera team is peppered with links to the 1993 All-Ireland

:33:10. > :33:37.winners. Good tackling from Loye. A free out

:33:38. > :33:42.for St Paul's. It is about keeping their composure, too, St Paul's,

:33:43. > :33:45.making sure their heads don't drop. Yes, it is about not being too

:33:46. > :33:48.concerned with the scoreboard, sticking to the process and the game

:33:49. > :33:52.plan that has taken you this far, and the score will look after its

:33:53. > :33:55.self. It is when you start thinking about what will happen here, I will

:33:56. > :34:00.do something different, that is when it gets dangerous. They need to have

:34:01. > :34:07.the composure to do that and trust themselves they can claw this back

:34:08. > :34:11.one point at a time. The problem for St Paul's, however, is that all of

:34:12. > :34:21.Saint pats schools have come from two players. I was going to say that

:34:22. > :34:22.is about to change but that effort drifted to the right and wide from

:34:23. > :34:46.Paddy McCormack. This is Michael Murphy. His club has

:34:47. > :34:54.a strong representation in this MacRory Cup panel in 2016. Little

:34:55. > :35:04.things not working out for St Paul's in these early exchanges. Eamon

:35:05. > :35:19.O'Neill and Ryan Gaskill combining. Loye again. Nile McGuinness showing

:35:20. > :35:26.well when he gets on the ball. Maghera have plenty of numbers back.

:35:27. > :36:00.That was not one of his best attempts.

:36:01. > :36:09.St Patrick's Cavan were heading for the third MacRory Cup success,

:36:10. > :36:16.remember. Another chance here, and another goal! Another nail, you hate

:36:17. > :36:21.to say it at this early stage, but Paddy Crick has found the net for St

:36:22. > :36:25.Patrick's Maghera, four goals and two points for the Derry men, three

:36:26. > :36:29.points for St Paul's. The movement inside, it is hard to point fingers

:36:30. > :36:33.at the defence because the movement is such high quality, but they have

:36:34. > :36:37.lots of space to work in front of them to move on these passes. You

:36:38. > :36:42.would expect St Paul's Bessbrook to have rectified that by now, put some

:36:43. > :36:45.defenders back to stem the flow for a little bit, because every time

:36:46. > :36:51.Maghera go forward they are capable of scoring goals. Four goals in 80

:36:52. > :36:54.minutes. A great run around the keeper, you still have to get the

:36:55. > :36:56.ball onto your boot under pressure so not as easy a finish as it may

:36:57. > :37:10.have looked. A great no mistaking his influence

:37:11. > :37:16.in this match, he is causing havoc in the forward line. The Martin

:37:17. > :37:28.stretches again for Maghera. -- the margin. It's a big ask. This is Liam

:37:29. > :37:31.Kerr. Scored eight points in the semifinal win but has yet to

:37:32. > :37:41.register in this final, this is his first opportunity. And it's good.

:37:42. > :37:48.They are going to need lots more from him if they will turn this

:37:49. > :38:00.particular contest around. An accomplished free taker. His club

:38:01. > :38:14.has celebrated through the years. -- a celebrated history. Dinky kick

:38:15. > :38:19.out. Patrick Kearney. Able to mobilise free men very quickly. Time

:38:20. > :38:28.and playing with plenty of confidence on the ball. Thought he

:38:29. > :38:32.was fouled but play continues. Nice enterprising ball into McGuigan,

:38:33. > :38:38.toying with his man once again. He will try to get it on the left foot,

:38:39. > :38:42.his preferred kicking foot. On this occasion may be too much one way and

:38:43. > :38:53.then the other. The referee is going to have a word with McGuigan. , a

:38:54. > :38:59.lot better. Hard to ask players to be playing one-on-one this level. I

:39:00. > :39:05.feel sorry for the two boys in there. What should they try to do?

:39:06. > :39:10.Put a halfback in just in front. It is bouncing and they are able to get

:39:11. > :39:16.it on the turn. Just clog it up for a few minutes so they can get a

:39:17. > :39:22.foothold in the game. They are being ruthless, Maghera. I would expect

:39:23. > :39:27.them to look at that before they move completely out of this game.

:39:28. > :39:34.Trying to get Liam Kerr on the ball a bit more, St Paul's. He has been

:39:35. > :39:39.dispossessed. Swarm of blue shirts. Here they come again. Keen to get

:39:40. > :39:45.that ball forward as quick as they can. McGuigan is one of the man who

:39:46. > :39:51.has been doing much of the scoring so far. Not one of his best passes

:39:52. > :39:59.and Konta class will do well to keep it in place.

:40:00. > :40:15.He heads to Hawthorne in June after his A-levels are completed. Looking

:40:16. > :40:22.for an option inside. Shane Lowry has done well to hold onto it. Over

:40:23. > :40:25.the top. Slowly but surely they are beginning to find the range. That

:40:26. > :40:35.was a great move and he took it well. Very unlucky, just over the

:40:36. > :40:40.bar. They will take that point. And full credit for their start,

:40:41. > :40:51.Maghera. To come out of the box and score 4-2 is absolutely brilliant.

:40:52. > :40:55.Saint Pauls are struggling to get the pace of this team the minute.

:40:56. > :41:00.There is the bench of the St Paul's Bessbrook panel. Maybe a little

:41:01. > :41:07.shell-shocked but there is still a fair distance to go. More danger

:41:08. > :41:10.here from St Patrick's Maghera, and an opportunity for Williams to

:41:11. > :41:22.increased the lead. From that sort of distance he'll make no mistake.

:41:23. > :41:30.They have clearly been working on it and have corrected it today. They

:41:31. > :41:39.are determined to try to rectify it and they have certainly done that.

:41:40. > :41:44.Smart option to take the points. Aaron Boyle, whose goal in the early

:41:45. > :41:48.moments of the second half in the semifinal really swung the game

:41:49. > :41:56.decisively St Paul's way. They could do with one of those goals today.

:41:57. > :42:00.And another scoring opportunity for St Paul's, albeit from a fair

:42:01. > :42:06.distance held. Within the range of Liam Kerr. Perhaps sensibly he

:42:07. > :42:14.decides to go short. Sprinting forward, under pressure. Picks out

:42:15. > :42:22.Shane Lowry. Combination plays nicely, execution of the shop not as

:42:23. > :42:25.convincing. The chances gone. Some inexperience, tried to brush the

:42:26. > :42:28.shot before he had the ball completely under control. Of course

:42:29. > :42:39.he was under good pressure by Maghera defenders. But the shot was

:42:40. > :42:45.not the best option. He's got to be happy, Paul Hughes. Joint manager of

:42:46. > :42:56.St Patrick's Maghera. Highly experienced. He has led so many

:42:57. > :43:00.college teams over the years. His team have defending to do here. That

:43:01. > :43:06.effort from Aaron Boyle not one of his better ones. That is the worry,

:43:07. > :43:13.if some panic sets in and things go wrong. Heads might start to drop.

:43:14. > :43:17.Those whites are often the thing that deflate young players more than

:43:18. > :43:30.conceding. The goals so far have been of real high quality. You would

:43:31. > :43:36.expect somebody of Aaron Boyle's quality to put that away and he has

:43:37. > :43:41.been doing that all season. These two have contested 26 Ulster College

:43:42. > :43:45.football finals between them. The difference being Maghera have been

:43:46. > :43:52.in 24, this is the second for St Paul's. History tells you there is a

:43:53. > :43:56.big gap in experience and knowledge of showpiece deciders like this. It

:43:57. > :43:58.will be a big test of character, how they manage this game and get back

:43:59. > :44:19.into it. Maghera with McGuigan. No panic if the initial avenue

:44:20. > :44:24.doesn't work out, they will change it and try another route. Patrick

:44:25. > :44:32.Kearney's long ball in, looking for the brother and finding him. Turning

:44:33. > :44:40.inside his man again. This is nice. He may have won the 45. He is their

:44:41. > :44:51.target man. Those balls, they are not precision passes. Extremely

:44:52. > :44:57.intelligent play, here. To win himself the 45 for his team. Lovely

:44:58. > :45:00.piece of showboating. To think to do that in that space of time shows you

:45:01. > :45:06.what sort of head he has on his shoulders as well as being such a

:45:07. > :45:10.smooth mover. Still hard to credit this is his fourth MacRory Cup

:45:11. > :45:13.campaign. He wore the number two jersey when they last met in the

:45:14. > :45:28.decider three years ago. He is renowned as a man marker but

:45:29. > :45:39.he can score, too. And then I give him the commentators curse. Move it

:45:40. > :45:47.up. Nice combination play with McWilliams. Just look so comfortable

:45:48. > :45:55.on the ball, St Patrick's Maghera. Men running off the shoulder and

:45:56. > :46:00.into space. Not always precision passes but more often than not they

:46:01. > :46:05.can make something of the. Started from a long ball out, and Maghera

:46:06. > :46:11.had a spare defender back, they were able to mop up the danger. That is

:46:12. > :46:14.exactly what I suggested potentially Saint Paul's could have done to help

:46:15. > :46:18.their insight defenders out a little. He's gone short. Francisco

:46:19. > :46:32.who was the target. Great vision, simple but effective

:46:33. > :46:41.play from Maghera. Bessbrook have it back. Aaron Boyle combining with

:46:42. > :46:47.Declan Loye. They need the ball up the other end, St Paul's. They will

:46:48. > :46:56.have to work very hard even to get the ball out of their own half.

:46:57. > :46:58.Richard Keenan feeding Conor Clarke. Kurt tries to turn inside but Feeney

:46:59. > :47:19.got a hand to it. Ryan Gaskin is fouled, couple of

:47:20. > :47:38.hands in, there. Jarlath Og Burns, the team captain.

:47:39. > :47:43.Bessbrook try to work an opening from a long way out. Conor Clarke

:47:44. > :47:53.with the effort. It was speculative at best. I know he is a team-mate of

:47:54. > :47:59.yours. Yes, he was working hard to get back after knee injury. He just

:48:00. > :48:08.dropped his head after that shot. The defence has been fairly compact.

:48:09. > :48:16.One minute of additional time in this first half. They will try to

:48:17. > :48:28.finish the half with another flourish. McGuigan and Kearney

:48:29. > :48:38.utterly dominant. They've scored 3-2 in this first half and that's been

:48:39. > :48:48.the main reason that the gap in the scoreboard is so big. McGuigan

:48:49. > :48:56.combine. Patrick Kearney, and the unmarked man is, McAllister. It's

:48:57. > :48:59.almost leisurely at times. Shane McGrath and will look up, and when

:49:00. > :49:13.he gets a roommate that there will only be one outcome. Shane McGrath

:49:14. > :49:27.in is enjoying himself out there. -- showing McGuigan enjoying himself.

:49:28. > :49:30.1-24 McGuigan in the half. St Patrick's Maghera utterly in control

:49:31. > :49:37.in just about every sector of the pitch. And it's the long road back

:49:38. > :49:45.even at this early stage for St Paul's Bessbrook. France's Kearney

:49:46. > :49:51.finding the net. Key to so much of what they created. McGuigan and

:49:52. > :49:57.Kearney scoring 3-3 of the first half tally for St Patrick's Maghera,

:49:58. > :50:00.that is why they are in charge. It will need to be a special half-time

:50:01. > :50:13.talk from John Rafferty. They say that goals win games, and

:50:14. > :50:18.they also say that if you take your points your goals will come. It

:50:19. > :50:23.seems as though Maghera have been the polar opposite to that.

:50:24. > :50:31.Phenomenal start. Looking at McGuigan. Two wonderful goals. We

:50:32. > :50:35.said before, the team that got off to a better start would have a

:50:36. > :50:39.greater chance of winning. Kearney winning the ball, taking on his man,

:50:40. > :50:46.but being very unselfish and passing it. Was that a throw? Debatable,

:50:47. > :51:01.hard to know. Saint Paul's probably will not be happy. Next goal, Feeney

:51:02. > :51:04.finds great space, doesn't panic. Kearney has a shot, and it bounces

:51:05. > :51:09.four McGuigan, easy task of finishing in the back of the net.

:51:10. > :51:15.Kearney made the first goal and made no mistake with the third goal for

:51:16. > :51:22.Maghera, wonderfully taken shot. He's been very impressive. Had a

:51:23. > :51:31.hand in all the goals. His finish for his own goal was good. He has a

:51:32. > :51:40.very acute angle, he is able to slide it under the goalkeeper. Up

:51:41. > :51:44.front between Kearney and McGuigan, invariably they will win it, the two

:51:45. > :51:48.big and strong men. They have the physical edge. With the

:51:49. > :52:03.opportunities they are able to take them. That's why Maghera are so

:52:04. > :52:08.comfortable. We were almost thinking it was over before it started, and

:52:09. > :52:14.then another hammer blow. Another well taken shot. Absolutely. They

:52:15. > :52:18.built from deep, slightly different to the other goals. Making the run

:52:19. > :52:31.on the blindside the invariably Kearney wins it. Seven or

:52:32. > :52:35.eight points up, you think they will just knock it over the bar for

:52:36. > :52:41.another score. But they went for the jugular. In those five to six

:52:42. > :52:47.minutes they completely finished off this game as a contest. The key

:52:48. > :52:53.question, what does the management team of St Paul's Bessbrook say to

:52:54. > :52:56.their players? They are young men, inexperienced, and going by this

:52:57. > :53:04.scoreboard, it does not look good, what can they do? Their heads will

:53:05. > :53:11.be down. You just have to take a minute and don't forget there is

:53:12. > :53:16.another whole half of football. They are such big man, great site, some

:53:17. > :53:22.excellent players. You've just got to do your best. There's a great

:53:23. > :53:33.battle in midfield between, class and Jarlath Og Burns. People talked

:53:34. > :53:41.about the Armagh element, one thing they all have in common is the

:53:42. > :53:45.ruthlessness. The minute Maghera have the ball, they go for the goal.

:53:46. > :53:52.Yes, they will go for the goal every time. The battle in the middle of

:53:53. > :54:01.the field, Maghera will have fancied themselves before the game. In

:54:02. > :54:05.actual fact it is about 50-50. But they are able to build from the

:54:06. > :54:09.back. And when St Paul's get an opportunity, it is not a simple

:54:10. > :54:15.opportunity and they have to work so hard to get that score. That is one

:54:16. > :54:19.thing you can notice from afar. Comprehensive first half from

:54:20. > :54:25.Maghera. What about the MacLarnon Cup? It was played before the

:54:26. > :54:35.MacRory Cup final, and we can get highlights now.

:54:36. > :54:49.Charging through, passed back, find the debt, Andrew Woods with the

:54:50. > :55:05.finish. All the hard work by Keane. Well one by Finnegan. Clinical from

:55:06. > :55:24.across. That is a super school. Holy Trinity Church really need to score.

:55:25. > :55:48.That is a super point opened the second half. Well taken. Options off

:55:49. > :55:56.the shoulder with O Conor. He taps sitting. David Garland with the

:55:57. > :56:02.finish. -- taps it in. After O'Connor's shot, it rebranded to

:56:03. > :56:14.Garland. He does not miss opportunities like that.

:56:15. > :56:28.An inspired score from Garland, he has been terrific. Back with Devlin.

:56:29. > :56:37.He has been very impressive for midfield, James Devon. Garland,

:56:38. > :56:46.high, over the top. Holy Trinity really need a goal.

:56:47. > :56:59.Finnegan goes himself. Carrick across Harvey champions, defeating

:57:00. > :57:16.Holy Trinity. Raising the McLarnon cup in front of

:57:17. > :57:22.the rest of the players. A fantastic individual performance from Garland,

:57:23. > :57:26.the real star of the show for the team. He hit one goal and eight

:57:27. > :57:31.points to win this very famous trippy. To give you an idea of how

:57:32. > :57:37.in demand this team is, they have been raced back for a parade, they

:57:38. > :57:40.are being brought up on stage, they could not hang about to be

:57:41. > :57:50.interviewed by us! They are superstars now. One man trying to

:57:51. > :57:53.keep his feet on the ground is the headteacher of the school, how

:57:54. > :58:02.significant is this? It is very significant, we are delighted to be

:58:03. > :58:06.the holders of the McLarnon cup. We were beaten by a very strong team

:58:07. > :58:10.last year and it ran deep through the school, throughout the football

:58:11. > :58:15.fraternity, the Gaelic fraternity and the school itself, so we had to

:58:16. > :58:19.make amends today. We had a plan in place, it was executed perfectly

:58:20. > :58:22.today, and we have some superstars but a super team and we hope they

:58:23. > :58:27.will go forward now and represent the colleges in the decider to see

:58:28. > :58:32.who represents all Star in the All-Ireland series. The school is

:58:33. > :58:37.also going very well overall, success has filtered down?

:58:38. > :58:45.Absolutely, all the young lads want to play ball, but on the jersey, be

:58:46. > :58:48.part of the setup, of what is the highest Gaelic tradition. We are a

:58:49. > :58:52.small school, we don't have the best facilities, local cover have been

:58:53. > :58:56.helping us out, I will sponsors, etc, and all the young lads want to

:58:57. > :59:02.come and play ball, they are talented, committed, and very well

:59:03. > :59:07.coached. It worked for us today and we are delighted, I couldn't be more

:59:08. > :59:10.proud of the school, the teachers, parents, supporters, and in

:59:11. > :59:13.particular the team mentor is today because they put a plan in place,

:59:14. > :59:18.followed it perfectly, played the games start to finish, it was a

:59:19. > :59:22.mature, level-headed, brilliant performance and we are absolutely

:59:23. > :59:26.chuffed, and I offer a debt of gratitude to those guys, their

:59:27. > :59:36.families and the school. They should be on stage in Carrickmacross in

:59:37. > :59:38.about half an hour, it might be a bit tight for you to make it down

:59:39. > :59:41.but congratulations to the school and two of the happiest men inside

:59:42. > :59:49.the Athletic Grounds. Some very, very proud people today.

:59:50. > :59:55.Congratulations to Patrician haulage in Carrickmacross. They looked

:59:56. > :00:00.brilliant. -- Patrician college. To win it today must be redemption for

:00:01. > :00:07.a lot of the players who were involved last year. What does John

:00:08. > :00:11.Rafferty said to his troops at half-time? It looks like Mission

:00:12. > :00:19.impossible from the outside looking in. He has a difficult team talk.

:00:20. > :00:23.One thing is to leave everything on the field, they have not done that

:00:24. > :00:28.so far, they have been poor on the back. The chances of friends they

:00:29. > :00:38.have not taken -- the chances upfront.

:00:39. > :00:45.St Paul's need to get a period of dominance in the second half, get

:00:46. > :00:48.three or four goals, make a game of this. You would expect Mahabharata

:00:49. > :00:54.kick on and win the game but we talked about the experience of the

:00:55. > :00:58.St Patrick's Day MacRory final, you don't want it to be unhappy because

:00:59. > :01:05.that is not a great experience for a young blood to take into the next

:01:06. > :01:10.round of his football career. But St Paul's will feel they have not

:01:11. > :01:17.performed defensively and when you get those opportunities upfront, to

:01:18. > :01:21.visit maybe, they need to take them. We will wait to see whether St

:01:22. > :01:28.Pauls' Bessbrook can make a comeback in the second half. The MacRory Cup

:01:29. > :01:33.is about the players on the pitch, but also about the fans.

:01:34. > :01:37.Yes, fantastic atmosphere amongst the supporters, and many of them

:01:38. > :01:42.have made a lot of effort today. Let's get a quick run through of

:01:43. > :01:46.some of the supporters. Some of the best dressed supporters inside the

:01:47. > :01:52.Athletic Grounds! I am dressed as St Paul's bus, I have supporters, the

:01:53. > :01:59.manager, the mascots. Go on, St Paul's! They are projected on the

:02:00. > :02:10.big screen as well! Pick up your drum, give us a beat of that! I'm

:02:11. > :02:16.the bass player of St Paul's, come on St Paul's! We will try to get

:02:17. > :02:22.some crowd interaction in a moment, find out who they think is the best

:02:23. > :02:30.dressed of all. Next up, you are live on BBC, can you see?! Tell us

:02:31. > :02:36.about your outfit. I'm a blue person! Next up, it wouldn't be

:02:37. > :02:41.March the 17th without this man, said Patrick. Tell us a bit about

:02:42. > :02:48.this, because you don't find these things just in your wardrobe! No, my

:02:49. > :02:59.name is Liam, I support Saint pats, I thought, it is Saint Patrick

:03:00. > :03:03.State, go for Saint Patrick. -- Saint Patrick's Day. Let's try to

:03:04. > :03:06.find out, as the players come back on the pitch, who people think is

:03:07. > :03:13.the best dressed. Is it the pair from Bessbrook?

:03:14. > :03:22.The drama? The blue man?

:03:23. > :03:27.Or Saint Patrick? And the winner is... Said Patrick!

:03:28. > :03:33.Who else?! Congratulations! Thank you very much.

:03:34. > :03:38.It looks like Saint Patrick in more ways than one. Certainly dressed for

:03:39. > :03:40.the occasion! The worrying thing is then Patrick 's Maghera looked

:03:41. > :03:46.almost as if they were just in cruise control in that first half,

:03:47. > :03:58.almost as if there is more to come, is that reading it wrongly? It was a

:03:59. > :04:02.phenomenal performance. If there is more to come, I am looking forward

:04:03. > :04:03.to seeing it. Hopefully St Paul's can come out here now and making

:04:04. > :04:21.game of it. I am looking forward to the second

:04:22. > :04:24.half, hopefully St Paul can make a game of it.

:04:25. > :04:28.Let's rejoin our commentary team for the second half.

:04:29. > :04:32.COMMENTATOR: 11 point margins have been hauled back before but it is a

:04:33. > :04:42.big ask for St Paul's high school of Bessbrook.

:04:43. > :04:49.They won't give up without a fight, any side prepared by John Rafferty

:04:50. > :04:55.and Barry Shannon will contest this to the very end. This is Liam Kerr,

:04:56. > :05:00.the man of the match in the semifinal. That is more like it, the

:05:01. > :05:04.outside of the boot, the sort of start Bessbrook badly needed in this

:05:05. > :05:07.half. We have heard a lot about his place in the build-up to the game,

:05:08. > :05:16.you showed it there, 20 seconds after half-time. Up into fifth gear

:05:17. > :05:19.and a fantastic finish as well. The psychological advantage of getting

:05:20. > :05:34.the first school so early. His second point of the afternoon.

:05:35. > :05:37.Loye is in there, trying to win it back, but well recovered by Conor

:05:38. > :05:54.McAllister. Conor Glass and Jack Doherty in full

:05:55. > :06:05.flow, it is a hard partnership to curtail.

:06:06. > :06:12.Declan Loye needs to be careful here, under pressure from Shane

:06:13. > :06:27.McGuigan. But there are enough St Paul's shirts to help out.

:06:28. > :06:36.Nice combination play, this is better. The captain tries to go

:06:37. > :06:46.inside Conor Glass, he is fouled by Conor Glass, wins the free. The two

:06:47. > :06:50.number eights combining. I contest worth watching, on that occasion

:06:51. > :07:01.last adjudged to have fouled his man. This should be straightforward

:07:02. > :07:06.for Shane Lowry. -- Shea Loye. And it is, and the first two scores of

:07:07. > :07:10.the second half go to St Paul's. That is what the neutrals wanted to

:07:11. > :07:15.see, what the St Paul's fans wanted to see. Come out and get those first

:07:16. > :07:21.two scores, they were able to stop Maghara's first attack and school as

:07:22. > :07:27.well. Nine points, three goals, who knows? Still 30 minutes left. As

:07:28. > :07:33.well as the MacRory Cup, the prize awaiting the winners is a Hogan cup

:07:34. > :07:41.semifinal next Wednesday against Summerhill College. St Pat's and

:07:42. > :07:44.Bessbrook went been thinking about that now, it is about taking the

:07:45. > :08:20.main Ulster prize here on St Patrick's Day.

:08:21. > :08:35.Eamon O'Neill's ball is long. Under pressure that time round but they

:08:36. > :08:37.have got the sideline ball. St Paul's will try to get this man on

:08:38. > :09:00.the ball wherever they can. High tackle from Ryan McSherry. The

:09:01. > :09:16.referee just having a quick word, nothing major.

:09:17. > :09:28.A perfect example there of not giving the easy first ball. A great

:09:29. > :09:41.run, delayed it. Now McGuinness sprinting forward for Bessbrook.

:09:42. > :09:47.Potentially that last attack from Maghera could be making them think

:09:48. > :10:04.they have this in the bag. You saw the wide count a moment ago,

:10:05. > :10:05.six for Bessbrook, John Rafferty knows changes need to be made and

:10:06. > :10:29.here is one of them. That foul produces a free. St Paul's

:10:30. > :10:32.need to try to turn the tide here, can this man provided, Stephen

:10:33. > :10:57.Finnegan? Waiting for his opportunity to come in.

:10:58. > :11:09.Bessbrook can make their change and introduce Finegan. And the man

:11:10. > :11:17.making way is Richard Keenan. A pat on the back from his manager. Worked

:11:18. > :11:20.hard, but, as has been the case for so many St Paul's players today, not

:11:21. > :11:36.everything they have tried has come off.

:11:37. > :11:44.Another opportunity here, polite argy-bargy between Dame Linda Hagan

:11:45. > :12:06.and Conor Glass, good-natured, I think. -- Damien O Hagan.

:12:07. > :12:10.Conor Glass one that free, he was outnumbered but used his body was to

:12:11. > :12:22.set up the team again. Bessbrook have not given up the

:12:23. > :12:39.ghost by any stretch of the imagination.

:12:40. > :12:49.McWilliams is fouled by Ryan Gaskin. Such a fantastic win on that ball,

:12:50. > :12:53.really bailed his team out, helped the St Paul's attack. Great to see

:12:54. > :12:55.two younger lads putting their bodies on the line for the school.

:12:56. > :13:09.Uncle Henry will be proud! They looked like they can move up a

:13:10. > :13:13.gear or two if they need to. This particular move in danger of

:13:14. > :13:16.breaking down and becoming untidy. Shane Lowry is back to help out. The

:13:17. > :13:37.referee spotted an infringement. Lots of trophies in his cabinet at

:13:38. > :13:42.home, Dermot McNicol. Umpteen MacRory Cup titles both as a player

:13:43. > :13:54.and a manager. Joint managers when they won back in 2002. Receiving

:13:55. > :14:00.treatment for this challenge, McGuinness coming down on him,

:14:01. > :14:11.there. Saint Paul's will make another change in the moment. He is

:14:12. > :14:17.up and OK. 13 maybe behind but plenty of voice and noise from the

:14:18. > :14:20.St Paul's supporters. They've brought so much colour to this St

:14:21. > :14:27.Patrick's Maghera cider. Josh Durnin comes in. -- this St Patrick's

:14:28. > :14:43.Maghera decider. Declan Loye under pressure.

:14:44. > :14:52.McGuinness. Showing a good clean pair of heels. Bearing down on goal,

:14:53. > :15:00.chance here. And that's more like it from St Paul's. They needed a spark,

:15:01. > :15:08.and they've got one now. Absolutely fantastic response from St Paul's in

:15:09. > :15:12.this half. What a great goal. Great run from Conor McGuinness, and he

:15:13. > :15:19.gave it to the right man. Directed into the roof of the net. Phenomenal

:15:20. > :15:24.goal. And the catalyst was the McGuinness to win combining and

:15:25. > :15:35.setting it up. And the finish was deadly. Suddenly the margin is down

:15:36. > :15:38.to six points. And still St Patrick's Maghera are waiting for

:15:39. > :15:44.their first score since the restart. You mentioned it was important they

:15:45. > :15:48.got one. It was that one piece of play, simple past not given, I

:15:49. > :15:53.thought it might come back to haunt them. They need that score to settle

:15:54. > :16:00.them. A little question or two being asked right now, is this going to be

:16:01. > :16:06.the response? The answer is no. The effort from McWilliams is wide. Very

:16:07. > :16:13.surprised that St Paul's don't have a football behind the goal. The big

:16:14. > :16:19.teams would have three or four, you need to get it moving as quick as

:16:20. > :16:23.you can. Thankfully somebody in the crowd threw it back out to young

:16:24. > :16:28.Michael Murphy to get the ball moving against quite a little over

:16:29. > :16:34.18 minutes to go. Can they do it? Let's see.

:16:35. > :16:47.Maghera in possession, leading by six. This is good play by Francis

:16:48. > :16:54.Kearney again. The kick from Patrick Kearney, the radar is off in the

:16:55. > :16:57.second half. The key thing is St Paul's had bodies down there,

:16:58. > :17:05.throwing themselves on the line. That did not happen in the first

:17:06. > :17:11.half. That was a crucial part. St Paul's putting them under pressure

:17:12. > :17:14.and the result is a wide. That is one thing that John Rafferty

:17:15. > :17:23.rectified in the dressing room at half-time. Maghera had lots of it up

:17:24. > :17:38.front in the first half, not so much in the second half. Murphy's kit in

:17:39. > :17:47.towards his captain. The bounce may deceive Declan Loye. Bit more

:17:48. > :17:56.purpose and intensity from St Paul's since the restart. Getting forward

:17:57. > :18:01.to get into whose goal-scoring positions. McGuinness's control

:18:02. > :18:11.can't prevent that ball from drifting out. McGuinness from South

:18:12. > :18:29.Armagh, one of three McGuinnesss. Patrick Kearney's ball looking for

:18:30. > :18:41.the twin brother, if he can keep it in, and he has. Kearney, right

:18:42. > :18:47.footed. Again he was under pressure. That helped to skew the chance.

:18:48. > :18:50.That's all it takes. The bit of defending by Declan Loye before

:18:51. > :18:57.that. Those boys took a hammering in the first half. The character they

:18:58. > :19:02.are showing now, they are making them earn their scores more this

:19:03. > :19:07.half. They have not got any yet so they are doing a great job. St

:19:08. > :19:10.Paul's ball once again. Josh Durnin wants to get on with it quickly but

:19:11. > :19:22.the referee wants him in the correct position. Another switch being made

:19:23. > :19:25.by Saint Pauls. Looks like now McGuinness is making way. The man in

:19:26. > :19:45.is Ryan Hughes. Conor Clarke trying to gather it, in

:19:46. > :19:46.the end Shane Lowry does. He has been working tigerish lay in the

:19:47. > :20:02.second period. Maghera win it back. Combine well

:20:03. > :20:10.again. This is nice play by St Patrick's Maghera. McWilliams goes

:20:11. > :20:14.for the score and now they have their first score, could that be an

:20:15. > :20:25.important one for Maghera to settle it all down? And the gap is seven

:20:26. > :20:31.points again. Great team score. We talked about the importance of that.

:20:32. > :20:37.You can see from the reaction, he knew how big a score that was. You

:20:38. > :20:43.expect them to go on now. And misses an opportunity for Paddy quick, they

:20:44. > :20:55.will take the point. Could have gone under, it's gone over. McGuigan

:20:56. > :21:04.again. It's as if that score has released Maghera and let them

:21:05. > :21:11.release. Doing the sensible thing and popping it over. Might have got

:21:12. > :21:18.the touch, glanced up over the bar off the goalie. He's got a powerful

:21:19. > :21:26.drive online. But it's still a point, another one that St Paul's

:21:27. > :21:34.need to get back. Here is Ryan Hughes, just on a moment ago. This

:21:35. > :21:39.could be an opportunity to cut the deficit back to six. That wasn't an

:21:40. > :21:46.easy angle but it was a beautiful score from Shane Lowry.

:21:47. > :21:52.Whatever was said at half-time by the two managers, it's as if they

:21:53. > :21:59.almost have nothing to lose now, they are enjoying the occasion.

:22:00. > :22:04.Perhaps the pressure got to them. Now we are seeing what they can do.

:22:05. > :22:10.It is turning into a fantastic game of football. The supporters may be

:22:11. > :22:24.asking why they couldn't do this in the first. But this is much better

:22:25. > :22:36.from the South Armagh school. Still going forward. This is Liam Kerr

:22:37. > :22:38.territory. And if it goes over it will cut the deficit back once again

:22:39. > :23:01.to six points. Very distinctive style and

:23:02. > :23:13.preparation. Why change it if you can do that? These fans still hope

:23:14. > :23:18.their team can applaud this final back.

:23:19. > :23:39.Just over 11 minutes ago in the MacRory Cup final. Jack Docherty

:23:40. > :23:45.under pressure. McGuigan the target. Declan Loye policing him.

:23:46. > :24:00.McWilliams's kit is off target. Six points the advantage, it's a

:24:01. > :24:07.comfortable lead. Relatively comfortable. But in this half St

:24:08. > :24:11.Paul's have outplayed Maghera big-time, and the scoreboard

:24:12. > :24:19.suggests that. If St Paul's still believe, and they look like they do,

:24:20. > :24:27.and their fans are creating a great atmosphere. St Paul's are still in

:24:28. > :24:30.this as long as they believe it. No sign of any head struggling, least

:24:31. > :24:37.of all the use, although he's under pressure. This is an opportunity for

:24:38. > :24:44.Ryan McSherry. It's a 45. He went for it but that's a fine save by one

:24:45. > :24:49.of the unsung heroes of the St Pat's team, Sean Cassidy, getting a hand

:24:50. > :24:54.to that, and what a vital says it may prove to be. McSherry went for

:24:55. > :24:59.the near post. Nice height for the keeper but fantastic reactions. Much

:25:00. > :25:05.every new it was a big shock to take on. He has provided so much in this

:25:06. > :25:16.competition already and has done so again. Great quality by Bessbrook,

:25:17. > :25:21.definitely not out of this. Quite good off the deck but it is a big

:25:22. > :25:31.kick on the athletic Grounds. From County Down. Conor Clarke to try to

:25:32. > :25:39.cut the deficit to five points, doesn't quite have enough meat on

:25:40. > :25:43.it. You do feel that every chance is going to have to count now for Saint

:25:44. > :25:55.Paul's in the remaining nine minutes.

:25:56. > :26:02.Paddy McCourt mug. Turner continued his run.

:26:03. > :26:11.Good tackling from Conor Magennis. The St Pat's supporters thought it

:26:12. > :26:19.was a foul. No question it was a free kick. They can feel very hard

:26:20. > :26:24.done by on that particular occasion, Maghera, but it was not given. And

:26:25. > :26:30.they come forward with Conor McDonald, Liam Kerr gathers it.

:26:31. > :26:46.Knocks it on to Eamon O'Neill. He's got a bit of space. O'Neill on hand.

:26:47. > :26:51.Laid off to Josh Durnin. It is wide. They need to be good in these last

:26:52. > :26:57.few minutes. The last two chances have gone begging. Snatched that it

:26:58. > :27:02.little. He had Liam Kerr screaming for it up front, probably should

:27:03. > :27:08.have passed it. He took it on himself. And it was one he probably

:27:09. > :27:15.should have put over. Sean Cassidy's save so important. He is a hurler by

:27:16. > :27:22.trade, he became a football goalkeeper by accident. Maghera make

:27:23. > :27:27.more changes. The lead is six points. A pat on his back from his

:27:28. > :28:03.manager. Coming forward now, Maghera looking

:28:04. > :28:11.to extend the advantage. Gives it back to McGuigan. With that trusty

:28:12. > :28:15.left peg, he makes no mistake. These two boys have been so dangerous

:28:16. > :28:22.upfront. They give them a simple task every time. Great finish, he

:28:23. > :28:32.knew how important that score would be. He's very happy. Didn't try to

:28:33. > :28:37.kick it too hard. You would have to think that the MacRory Cup is going

:28:38. > :28:49.back to Maghera. Two goals and four points for McGuigan so far. Seven

:28:50. > :29:01.points is the Maghera league. St Paul's will not give up, it is not

:29:02. > :29:05.in their ethos. A little discussion over who the line ball should go to

:29:06. > :29:07.on that far side. Declan Loye arguing his case with the match

:29:08. > :29:36.referee. Bessbrook want them to get on with

:29:37. > :29:42.it. Declan Loye has gone into the referee's notebook. Rarebit of space

:29:43. > :29:51.for Ryan McSherry. Feeding it in nicely. Hughes has shown well since

:29:52. > :29:53.being introduced but that particular pass is intercepted by the captain,

:29:54. > :30:26.Konta class. Jack Doherty sprints forward making

:30:27. > :30:33.himself available. Shane McGuigan, the two men causing more damage.

:30:34. > :30:43.McGuigan turning illegally, according to the referee.

:30:44. > :30:51.He almost had to many options. They seemed telepathic in the way they

:30:52. > :30:53.are linking up with each other, a massive part of why Maghera have

:30:54. > :31:12.such a big lead. That was not one of his best

:31:13. > :31:15.efforts. While the heads are not dropping, as such, I think the

:31:16. > :31:20.realisation is beginning to set in the sum of these players that this

:31:21. > :31:26.MacRory Cup is slipping away. It is, it is not a nice feeling, I played

:31:27. > :31:29.in a lot of semifinals and lost them, it is a horrible thing to have

:31:30. > :31:37.to be out there and play until the final whistle, knowing that you will

:31:38. > :31:59.not be taking the cup back to your school and county on this occasion.

:32:00. > :32:22.The noise and thinking is coming from the St Patrick 's Mahavira

:32:23. > :32:29.fans, they sent a 15th MacRory Cup title is imminent now.

:32:30. > :32:47.Francis Kinney has been so influential today.

:32:48. > :32:52.I thought that was going to be a free in but McGuigan is adjudged to

:32:53. > :33:02.have carried the ball illegally there. Perhaps he took too many

:33:03. > :33:13.steps. The challenge put him under severe pressure. Conor Glass gets

:33:14. > :33:25.some running repairs. More changes for St Pat's Maghera, Conor

:33:26. > :33:32.Mulholland coming into the fray and Conor McAleny to have played his

:33:33. > :33:36.part, he is the man to make way. How do you think Conor Glass will fare

:33:37. > :33:40.down under when he goes there in June? He is obviously a phenomenal

:33:41. > :33:45.athlete, he has got pace and a great size for someone of his age. I was

:33:46. > :33:53.skinny and small at that age but he had a busy of a man so he will have

:33:54. > :33:57.no problem, he is going to a great club. He has every chance of making

:33:58. > :34:02.it providing he can pick up the pace of the game and the skills. The

:34:03. > :34:08.thing I like if he doesn't try to do too much, he plays his role. He is a

:34:09. > :34:15.really intelligent player, I wish all the best. Playing a captain's

:34:16. > :34:16.Park today, as St Paul's have a free to move ten yards forward for

:34:17. > :34:31.dissent. You can feel the belief losing

:34:32. > :34:36.finally out of the St Paul's players now as we are deep in the last

:34:37. > :34:46.minute and added time beckons. This is some pats -- some pats Maghera's

:34:47. > :34:49.24th MacRory Cup final appearance, they have won 14 of them previously

:34:50. > :35:07.and are on the another milestone today. Three minutes of added time

:35:08. > :35:15.on the referee's clock. I think the notes will be, this is our day.

:35:16. > :35:21.Maybe he is thinking about the Hogan cup semifinal next week. Can St

:35:22. > :35:28.Paul's finish with a flourish of their own? Well caught out at the

:35:29. > :35:34.back by Conor Glass, he pops up everywhere! I see he is holding -ish

:35:35. > :35:40.older. He has had a history of shoulder injury, it is a shallow

:35:41. > :35:44.joint. He has taken himself back at this stage of the game, it is that

:35:45. > :35:49.type of play that will be inspirational. He knows it is a

:35:50. > :35:53.matter of playing at the game, it was a great interception. You have

:35:54. > :35:56.to say Mahavira deserved the win but great character by St Paul's

:35:57. > :36:02.Bessbrook in the second half. Another goal opportunity, this is

:36:03. > :36:08.going to be a penalty. An opportunity for St Patrick's Maghera

:36:09. > :36:14.to add a touch of class to this MacRory Cup final from a Derry point

:36:15. > :36:19.of view. Colonel Darrel got in there and caused the opening. I don't

:36:20. > :36:29.think Bessbrook can have too many quibbles about that particular

:36:30. > :36:32.challenge. Trying to dispossess him. St Paul's could have the argument

:36:33. > :36:36.that the initial contact was just outside the 40 metre line but it was

:36:37. > :36:42.very, very close call, certainly a free kick, and this stage will not

:36:43. > :36:44.make much difference to the score. The man who was fouled will take the

:36:45. > :36:59.kick himself. It is the icing on the cake for St

:37:00. > :37:08.Pat's Maghera. He has enjoyed himself today, and so have they.

:37:09. > :37:15.Perfect penalty, such a leisurely run-up for a schoolboy to come and

:37:16. > :37:18.hit a penalty like that. I know it is almost the last kick of the

:37:19. > :37:26.MacRory Cup Final, but such skill and closure no doubt he will join

:37:27. > :37:35.the celebrations in few minutes time. It was composed finish.

:37:36. > :37:39.Textbook illustration in goal-scoring. Another illustration

:37:40. > :37:43.of the prowess of St Patrick 's Maghara in Ulster colleges Gaelic

:37:44. > :37:48.football because for the 15th time in the school's history they are

:37:49. > :37:52.champions of Ulster, the MacRory Cup heading to St Pat's once again! Lets

:37:53. > :37:56.joint Thomas Kane with the man of the match.

:37:57. > :38:00.The pitch has been invaded by an army of blue and white.

:38:01. > :38:07.Congratulations, you are man of the match. How does it feel to win the

:38:08. > :38:14.MacRory Cup? After last year, it was a big end last year and we knew we

:38:15. > :38:24.had to get by them, we were right up there, we knew we had a chance. What

:38:25. > :38:30.was the key to the victory? Francis and Shane McGuigan, they couldn't be

:38:31. > :38:33.handled. They are unstoppable. How special is it to enjoy this moment

:38:34. > :38:42.with your brother? It is good to have someone out there. Is there a

:38:43. > :38:53.Hogan cup in this team now? Oh, definitely. How important was it not

:38:54. > :39:04.to become complacent after the early goals? We made sure we were not

:39:05. > :39:08.going to do that. The same happened with another team who were 11 points

:39:09. > :39:17.up at half-time, we knew that could happen to them. Patrick Tierney, you

:39:18. > :39:22.are the man of the match. I think there is a celebration, you had

:39:23. > :39:26.better get involved down their! Congratulations to Patrick and St

:39:27. > :39:31.Patrick's Maghera, for the 15th time the MacRory Cup champions. Paul

:39:32. > :39:38.Hughes joins me, you never seem to get tired of winning these

:39:39. > :39:41.competitions, do you? I might not see too many more of them but it is

:39:42. > :39:45.tremendous for the school, tremendous for the clubs, there is

:39:46. > :39:51.great enthusiast for MacRory Cup football in St Patrick's, there has

:39:52. > :40:01.been for years. We are torchbearers, we are trying to pass this other

:40:02. > :40:04.people. We are passing this on to another generation, another group of

:40:05. > :40:08.kids who want to do this thing. Really embrace it and love it,

:40:09. > :40:14.because it is special, MacRory Cup football is special. This may be too

:40:15. > :40:19.soon for one generation, it is a sweet success? We have won the

:40:20. > :40:26.MacRory Cup, cannot get better than this, doesn't get better than this.

:40:27. > :40:30.Can I talk about the forward line? St Pat's Maghera seemed to bring out

:40:31. > :40:39.these great things throughout the years. We were looking at the

:40:40. > :40:44.McGuigans and Tierneys, phenomenal. We stopped using the ball and

:40:45. > :40:50.playing as a team... I will have to stop you there. We will do in the

:40:51. > :40:54.commentary team. COMMENTATOR: It doesn't matter how

:40:55. > :41:04.often you win it, these are the scrapbook moments for every young

:41:05. > :41:09.footballer. The current Ulster colleges chairman introducing the

:41:10. > :41:15.presentation of that shiny MacRory Cup, which will be handed to Conor

:41:16. > :41:19.Glass. One of the real Ulster Gaelic football talents. He heads on a

:41:20. > :41:26.professional Australian rules contract Down Under in June after he

:41:27. > :41:33.completes his A-levels. He will be missed but he will favour this

:41:34. > :41:46.particular moment. The man of the match award is presented to Patrick

:41:47. > :41:50.Kearney. This is a special moment. Whatever level of success these

:41:51. > :41:56.young players have had. Yes, it is the most exciting time, or both hard

:41:57. > :42:01.work they have put in from November time, training over Christmas, this

:42:02. > :42:12.is the reward. MacRory Cup number 15 For St Patrick's College Maghera

:42:13. > :42:14.resented to Conor Glass. Let's hear from the man himself, the

:42:15. > :42:38.captain. Congratulations to St Patrick's

:42:39. > :42:43.Maghera and Conor Glass, phenomenal footballer, we wish him all the best

:42:44. > :42:47.with his career. Did the best team win? Definitely, the best team on

:42:48. > :42:52.the day one. St Paul's came out in the second heart and made a game of

:42:53. > :42:58.it. But definitely St Pat's Maghera, the best team won. Just to let

:42:59. > :43:06.everyone know, there is an important programme coming up on BBC One on

:43:07. > :43:12.Monday night at 9pm, it has been following the Crossmaglen team for

:43:13. > :43:14.two years, that is on Monday at 9pm. Congratulations to St Patrick's

:43:15. > :43:18.Maghera, thank you to both of the boys for joining me today. Time now

:43:19. > :44:27.for the Schools' Cup Finals. Congratulations to St Pat's Maghera

:44:28. > :44:31.on their MacRory Cup success. The focus switches to Ulster rugby

:44:32. > :44:38.headquarters and the 140th Schools' Cup Finals. It is RBAI against

:44:39. > :44:41.Campbell College. Hello, welcome to the Kingspan Stadium, it is that

:44:42. > :44:46.time again, St Patrick's day wouldn't be the same without the

:44:47. > :44:50.Schools' Cup. Alongside me this afternoon, two men with plenty of

:44:51. > :44:55.experience, a finalist of Ballymena Academy in 99 and 2000, Ian

:44:56. > :44:58.Humphreys, and Ulster and Ireland centre Darren Cave. The pain of

:44:59. > :45:04.defeat in the final, have you got over it after all these years?! Not

:45:05. > :45:08.really! It was a long time ago, but two of the best days of my rugby

:45:09. > :45:12.career. As a county school we were not expecting to do too well but we

:45:13. > :45:16.got to two finals, which will ultimately lost. But it lives longer

:45:17. > :45:23.the memory. How important was schools rugby to you, Darren? It was

:45:24. > :45:26.massive. When I was coming through, we were in the quarterfinals two

:45:27. > :45:30.years in a row, it wasn't a bad result, but I still look back,

:45:31. > :45:34.despite what I achieved in my career, on those days very fondly,

:45:35. > :45:38.and some regret that the teams I was part of have not been able to click

:45:39. > :45:42.to a semifinal never mind an occasion like this. It is an

:45:43. > :45:47.occasion that stands out in Ulster Rugby? It is, over the few weeks a

:45:48. > :45:52.lot of us who have managed to play in the Schools' Cup Finals have

:45:53. > :45:57.talked about it. As a school play this is the pinnacle, it is what you

:45:58. > :46:02.prepare all year for, it is a great occasion, great crowd. You can hear

:46:03. > :46:08.them building up now. A lot of history between two big Belfast

:46:09. > :46:13.schools today? Yes, it was great to see die rider coming to the

:46:14. > :46:16.semifinal but at the end of the day these two are incredibly

:46:17. > :46:19.competitive, two good prep schools feeding them. Some of these players

:46:20. > :46:25.will be building potentially 14 years for this, it is where it all

:46:26. > :46:29.culminates. Some of them might not play rugby ever again, some of them

:46:30. > :46:33.might play for Ireland, but either way and massive occasion for them.

:46:34. > :46:37.And it is coping with that occasion, as well? They will not be used to

:46:38. > :46:41.crowds and atmospheres like this and the whole school will be watching,

:46:42. > :46:44.but they have to feed of the pressure and any nerves they have

:46:45. > :46:45.once the whistle goes, they will have to be forgotten about. They

:46:46. > :47:00.played here a fortnight ago in the semifinal, had a bit of experience,

:47:01. > :47:03.the RBAI boys winning last year would have experienced it as well.

:47:04. > :47:06.The focus will be on the two teams taking the field but off the pitch

:47:07. > :47:09.the excitement has been building. We sent our star reporter and a

:47:10. > :47:18.familiar face to get a sense of what this day means at Campbell and Inst.

:47:19. > :47:21.One of the biggest disappointment of my rugby career is never making the

:47:22. > :47:25.Schools' Cup Finals. The BBC have sent me out to Campbell and insert

:47:26. > :47:27.to find out about the pre-match atmosphere and the build-up to the

:47:28. > :47:42.big-game -- Campbell and Inst. I have just come from the school

:47:43. > :47:52.assembly and now I'm in the sixth form centre to chat to a few of the

:47:53. > :48:08.players and the school band. Show me what you've got. Riding high, up in

:48:09. > :48:09.the sky! Flying high, up in the sky! Daly ago, nice to meet you, thank

:48:10. > :48:22.you very much! -- there you go. Whenever I was in school we

:48:23. > :48:33.literally had about two of these machines. We didn't do any gym work.

:48:34. > :48:42.Did you start last year? Yes. Unbelievable. I was not that nervous

:48:43. > :48:50.last year compared to this year. I think it takes the pressure off.

:48:51. > :48:55.Thanks very much, best of luck. We had look behind-the-scenes, now we

:48:56. > :49:08.are at Campbell College to see what these guys have got to offer. Hello,

:49:09. > :49:18.boys, how are you? Good morning. Any songs you will be singing for them?

:49:19. > :49:23.CCB! CCB! You are scaring me with that, so you are. I feel sorry for

:49:24. > :49:29.the other team with you guys cheering them on like that. Good to

:49:30. > :49:35.see you, how are you getting on? All right. You must be excited, are you?

:49:36. > :49:41.It's been a dream for ten years. Unbelievable. It's only half the

:49:42. > :49:48.dream. Of course it is, corset is. And what is the atmosphere in the

:49:49. > :50:03.school I? Buzzing. Really? Yes. Huge excitement. Well done, lads. That's

:50:04. > :50:07.pretty impressive. They were showing me their drum as well, so you are

:50:08. > :50:14.going to be up against it. Not just the noise on the pitch, you lads as

:50:15. > :50:19.well. Right, lads, what are we having, I think I'm going to be

:50:20. > :50:28.serving. Two sausages or one? I'll give two, she's not watching.

:50:29. > :50:33.Anything else? Good man. It's been brilliant to be given the

:50:34. > :50:37.opportunity to look round both schools, two very ambitious teams,

:50:38. > :50:39.two incredible sets of support. It all comes down to the day on the

:50:40. > :50:49.pitch, made the best team win. He is a rock star, Tommy Bowe, but

:50:50. > :50:54.you get the feeling from the two schools of the is floating about the

:50:55. > :51:01.place. Oh yeah. Both sets of teams look really up for it and excited.

:51:02. > :51:05.You saw how times have changed. The gym is state-of-the-art, many clubs

:51:06. > :51:11.would be pleased with it. When I was at school there were no gyms or

:51:12. > :51:16.weights lifted. Great for rugby that the schools are getting this kind of

:51:17. > :51:21.development from an early age. I imagine not much schoolwork has

:51:22. > :51:24.done, atmosphere building. Surprise that the Campbell supporters are

:51:25. > :51:28.only arriving now, it means they must have been in class. The

:51:29. > :51:33.standard of facilities is completely different from when we were playing

:51:34. > :51:39.at school. It is professional. At the end of the day this is what it

:51:40. > :51:43.is about, we cannot rely on Ulster consistently signing these World Cup

:51:44. > :51:49.winners from South Africa and New Zealand. We need to become more like

:51:50. > :51:54.Leinster. Certainly a different ball game. Let's soak up some of the

:51:55. > :52:01.atmosphere and noise. He's not Tommy Bowe but he's the next best thing,

:52:02. > :52:05.my foster. I wouldn't say that. It's a quiet and sombre atmosphere, pitch

:52:06. > :52:11.side... Not. This man lifted the schools cup 50 years ago today.

:52:12. > :52:15.Captain of Campbell College in a famous 3-0 emphatic victory over

:52:16. > :52:22.Coleraine. What are your memories of that special day 50 years ago? My

:52:23. > :52:30.main memory is that it was a horrendously bad weather day. The

:52:31. > :52:33.gale was howling up and down the pitch. In those days there were no

:52:34. > :52:39.stands at either end. Just a big stand here. I'm afraid it was not a

:52:40. > :52:44.great spectacle to watch. But an amazing game to play in. Any

:52:45. > :52:48.schoolboy who plays rugby, this is where they want to end up. And when

:52:49. > :52:53.they get here they certainly don't want to lose. So we were very

:52:54. > :53:00.fortunate to come out 3-0 at the end. Special day today, 11 members

:53:01. > :53:05.of that team are here to take in the class of 2016. How special is that

:53:06. > :53:10.bond you made all those years ago? We have kept in touch one way or

:53:11. > :53:14.another. And it's very nice to have them back after 50 years. One boy

:53:15. > :53:22.has come from Canada, three have come from England. One has come from

:53:23. > :53:26.Dublin. And the rest are all local. It's a big thing to get them all

:53:27. > :53:32.here. Two boys sadly died very young and they are no longer here, but

:53:33. > :53:39.that's the way life goes after 50 years I'm afraid. We will let you

:53:40. > :53:45.enjoy the rest of the game with the rest of those team members. Special

:53:46. > :53:49.day for John Dixon and the Dixon family, John Junior is part of the

:53:50. > :53:58.RBI team. How special is this occasion? Great excitement in the

:53:59. > :54:02.family over the last week or so. Same as last year, we enjoyed it

:54:03. > :54:06.very much, and this year will be no different. Are you as nervous as

:54:07. > :54:12.your son John when the match starts? Excited is more the word. I was with

:54:13. > :54:15.him this morning, took him to school and he was very confident and

:54:16. > :54:21.relaxed and looking forward to today. Thanks for your time, I hope

:54:22. > :54:29.it goes well. For a bit of fun on St Patrick's day, you can guess how

:54:30. > :54:36.many pictures he's going to take, I'm going to guess 1987. It's all

:54:37. > :54:42.about family. The crowds have filled the place. How will the players be

:54:43. > :54:46.feeling? Probably a little nervous, a bit excited. They will have done

:54:47. > :54:49.their pre-match routine. Both like to throw the ball about a bit.

:54:50. > :55:00.Hopefully we will see exciting rugby. There were some good tries in

:55:01. > :55:07.the semifinal. Rory Scholes, Ulster winger, how important is it that the

:55:08. > :55:10.ex-players give a little bit back? Its key that the players now

:55:11. > :55:13.understand that this is a massive occasion and a massive game, but it

:55:14. > :55:18.is a game, and they have to treat it like any other. Think about how many

:55:19. > :55:20.times they have executed their skills in training and other

:55:21. > :55:27.matches, commonly times they have performed. You just have to deliver

:55:28. > :55:35.like you have every single day in training. The team that does it

:55:36. > :55:40.better will win. And enjoy it as well? Absolutely. These are some of

:55:41. > :55:45.their biggest games and they are playing with their mates which will

:55:46. > :55:53.not necessarily happen again. Just enjoy the experience. Your

:55:54. > :56:00.prediction? The backline are very dangerous and will possibly score

:56:01. > :56:04.more tries. Just to make it interesting I will go with Campbell.

:56:05. > :56:22.We can cross to the commentary team. COMMENTATOR: Good afternoon. It

:56:23. > :56:30.really is a good afternoon. Certainly turned up the warm side of

:56:31. > :56:35.the stone for this. Only the London hospitals cup has been going longer.

:56:36. > :56:53.Longest running rugby trophy in Ireland. Only the 14th final between

:56:54. > :56:58.these two great sites. Between the three they have wanted more times

:56:59. > :57:04.than anybody else. When you played here against Dalriada, it was

:57:05. > :57:11.probably one of the biggest games of your life. Yes, one of the best

:57:12. > :57:15.games of my life. At 17 or 18 years old, like these guys, this is by far

:57:16. > :57:27.and away their biggest sporting occasion. They are really living for

:57:28. > :57:31.this. The captain of the Campbell side 50 years ago, it was a good

:57:32. > :57:37.side. Some future internationals in the side. They contained the great

:57:38. > :57:41.Ken Goodall. In those days everybody played rugby after school. Alas that

:57:42. > :57:47.is not the case today. Certainly not. If you had the pleasure of

:57:48. > :57:50.seeing the clips involving Tommy Bowe earlier, you see the

:57:51. > :57:56.preparation that goes in, and for the members of staff as well. No

:57:57. > :58:05.stone left unturned in terms of player recruitment and their

:58:06. > :58:08.physical conditioning. I talked to a number of finalists who said even

:58:09. > :58:15.the thrill of playing for Ireland could not be surpassed by the thrill

:58:16. > :58:22.of walking out here on Saint Patrick stays. Definitely not, and we have a

:58:23. > :58:28.privileged position here on the halfway line. The moment has

:58:29. > :58:38.arrived. They are simply champing at the bit.

:58:39. > :58:41.It is Campbell College against the Royal Belfast academical

:58:42. > :58:57.institution. They have a number of players back

:58:58. > :59:44.from last year. Campbell are led by James Boyle.

:59:45. > :00:11.Call 02 arrived from Australia at the start of the season -- Paul 02.

:00:12. > :00:21.The referee during his first schools cup final. His great, great

:00:22. > :00:26.grandfather played in the very first Irish team that played international

:00:27. > :00:34.rugby against England at the Kennington Oval in 1875. This game

:00:35. > :00:41.is underway, and Inst playing towards the warmer Morrill end.

:00:42. > :00:47.Looking to establish field position. Well disciplined Campbell pack has

:00:48. > :00:54.made sure of the ball. Good kick taken in by Laurie. Research on all.

:00:55. > :01:06.This is what Inst are good at. Strong pace. Almost got the float

:01:07. > :01:11.away. -- the float. If they play with this kind of attitude we are in

:01:12. > :01:20.for a cracking afternoon. Pace in both sides. Inst on this occasion

:01:21. > :01:26.well fielded. Moved sweetly from the right-hand side to the left. Justin

:01:27. > :01:35.Savage just forces the intercept. It came off a Campbell hand. But more

:01:36. > :01:39.is very pacey. Well set up by the lower six scrum-half. Once again all

:01:40. > :01:49.the pressure coming from the holders.

:01:50. > :02:05.Set up for Dixon. Good strong run by the tight head prop. Inst get the

:02:06. > :02:14.penalty. John Dixon very involved as the main photographer. O'Donnell set

:02:15. > :02:21.it up. Nice sidestep. Good pressure by Inst. Yes, good pressure by Inst.

:02:22. > :02:27.The Campbell number eight giving away the penalty. Inst will look to

:02:28. > :02:31.soften up the Campbell pack around the edges. And unleashed this

:02:32. > :03:04.potentially devastating backline. All he will be caring about our the

:03:05. > :03:08.first points in this cup final. Yes, he's got right underneath it. Right

:03:09. > :03:15.between the posts it goes. Good start for the holders. And we've

:03:16. > :03:19.played less than three minutes. Just the start that Inst were looking

:03:20. > :03:28.for. Never looked like it was going anywhere. Took them a long time

:03:29. > :03:38.before they met in their first final in 1960. Of the 13 times they've

:03:39. > :03:39.met, Campbell have had the edge. Winning seven. Couple of games have

:03:40. > :03:58.been Though Donald pulled it in field a

:03:59. > :04:17.little bit. Taken by Ben Webb. This is the big fellow himself, Tom

:04:18. > :04:24.O'Toole. This time last year a member of the Queensland Academy.

:04:25. > :04:35.Not allowing much in the way of room, once he gets up ahead of steam

:04:36. > :04:41.he is very hard to stop. There goes go tool again.

:04:42. > :04:54.Not a bad kick but straight into touch. Pragmatic approach from both

:04:55. > :04:58.teams. Fantastic chase from Charlie Friars for Inst, making the

:04:59. > :05:09.turnover. Tom O'Toole weighing a mere 115 kilograms. That's about 17

:05:10. > :05:16.and a half or 18 stone. He is trimmed with it at the same time.

:05:17. > :05:28.Taken well at the back by the number eight. Again they take it forward.

:05:29. > :05:31.Back inside, great chance, this. He's got it away, and the past two

:05:32. > :05:37.O'Donnell just couldn't quite be held by the scrum-half. That really

:05:38. > :05:45.would have made it difficult to Campbell but they've got it away.

:05:46. > :05:52.Good clearance. Fantastic tackle again. There is the ball inside

:05:53. > :06:02.coming through. Just stripped the ball down. All the pressure and

:06:03. > :06:03.possession with Inst. They have really started quickly. So close for

:06:04. > :06:19.Rhys O'Donnell. Across the Campbell 22. It's been

:06:20. > :06:21.all yellow and black so far. There is the switch to Joe Finnegan, who

:06:22. > :06:41.played on the wing last year. Lost his footing but Inst still have

:06:42. > :06:51.the impetus. They give away their first penalty. Give them a bit of

:06:52. > :06:58.breathing space. Campbell looking slightly shell-shocked. No

:06:59. > :07:13.possession, just defending inside their 22, just hanging on manfully.

:07:14. > :07:24.Good clearance kick by Campbell. Coming up to seven minutes played,

:07:25. > :07:52.3-0 to the holders. For their 31st out right wing.

:07:53. > :08:11.That looked high, the referee has a hand-out. Touch judge indicated on

:08:12. > :08:18.this side there was a high tackle. Wonderful break, awakens Jamie

:08:19. > :08:19.Macartney. Inst's defensive line, I think they were waiting for the

:08:20. > :08:31.penalty. They have got the penalty but I

:08:32. > :08:34.think the referee will have a word with the Inst tackler who put in the

:08:35. > :08:46.high one. James Hume on this occasion.

:08:47. > :09:00.Super feat by Jamie Macartney. A good piece of officiating, there was

:09:01. > :09:02.no malice in that, the referee sent to be saying to James Hume, keep it

:09:03. > :09:28.down. He stepped back inside, a swinging

:09:29. > :09:40.arm, good work by Jack Howard, whose dad I saw earlier.

:09:41. > :09:54.Campbell have a useful line-out, but not if they lose the ball like that.

:09:55. > :10:09.Good tackle by Callum Reid on Jack Barry-Glendinning.

:10:10. > :10:25.Good defending by Inst. Invented by both teams, keeping the ball alive.

:10:26. > :10:30.We are seeing depth, some nice running angles outside, Tom O Toole

:10:31. > :10:37.standing in the first receiver position.

:10:38. > :10:46.Good line-out by Inst, well away. Callum Reid has been named on the

:10:47. > :11:06.Irish schools three Nations side. Another good kick by Rhys O'Donnell.

:11:07. > :11:09.Good strike by the Inst's scrum-half whose dad Keith played here it the

:11:10. > :11:20.losing side in 1980 against Campbell College. His dad played in a winning

:11:21. > :11:30.side against Campbell College in the 40s.

:11:31. > :11:51.Great steel by Inst, good work by Charlie Fryers.

:11:52. > :11:57.Inst might have thought about releasing the speedy Mark Keane on

:11:58. > :12:05.the left wing but they will be happy with that. Slick handling, good wits

:12:06. > :12:10.on the past as well. At this stage they are happy to pay the possession

:12:11. > :12:13.game, just get into the Campbell 22 and turned the screw. Quick ball,

:12:14. > :12:21.Rhys O'Donnell has a beautiful pass on him as well.

:12:22. > :12:28.Good challenge by Inst but Campbell have done a pretty good job

:12:29. > :12:37.defending their line. That is well struck by Corrie. Good tackle by

:12:38. > :12:55.Justin Savage. He has overcooked that one. Not much

:12:56. > :12:59.in the way of a breeze down there. Michael Lowry, who played a year ago

:13:00. > :13:05.as a fifth former, he has had injury problems this season. He is

:13:06. > :13:13.tenacious, highly regarded by the academy system that Ulster have.

:13:14. > :13:17.Good communication, one would have to say that is the first mistake

:13:18. > :13:56.that Inst have made in these opening 15 minutes.

:13:57. > :14:08.Good acceleration by O Toole, good strength and nice presentation as

:14:09. > :14:16.well. Good continuity now by Campbell probably for the first

:14:17. > :14:21.time. It has gone into touch, cup final nerves? Yes, in the last

:14:22. > :14:25.minute they have both made simple errors, noticeable from Inst

:14:26. > :14:30.whenever Campbell have the ball, not committing. First man making his

:14:31. > :14:35.tackles, puts his opposite number to ground, and Inst don't compete, they

:14:36. > :14:42.fan out. Campbell go looking for speed to unleash the backline. 45

:14:43. > :14:47.minutes each way in schools would be so coming up to the halfway point in

:14:48. > :15:06.this first half, Inst still in the lead.

:15:07. > :15:13.No advantage to Campbell from the knock forward by Inst. The first

:15:14. > :15:24.Campbell scrum of the afternoon, nearly 50 minutes gone. Lowry unable

:15:25. > :15:41.to get that pass over his shoulder. Never before in the history of

:15:42. > :15:46.schools rugby has a side completed what is known as the double double,

:15:47. > :15:49.winning the Schools' Cup and medallion Shield competition in

:15:50. > :15:52.successive years, Inst did that last it, they have retained the medallion

:15:53. > :16:05.shield having kept it three years in a row, and now they are hoping to go

:16:06. > :16:07.one better. Nobody has ever made it a double double, if we can call it

:16:08. > :16:39.that. Campbell with the chance to make up

:16:40. > :16:44.a bit of territory. Great covering tackle. Switch play, that is him

:16:45. > :16:52.with the number four on his back, holders line, thesis which, picks up

:16:53. > :17:04.James Hume inside. He bears a proud name, Nelson.

:17:05. > :17:09.All of these guys are so well conditioned now, almost verging on

:17:10. > :17:15.semiprofessional, even though they are still at school. They are

:17:16. > :17:23.looking for these guys to appear potentially in an Ulster shirt in

:17:24. > :17:34.the pre-5 years. James Nelson has appeared for the underage teens. He

:17:35. > :17:48.is in lower fixed at Campbell. -- lower sixth.

:17:49. > :17:55.Not the sort of ball from the line-out that most half-backs like

:17:56. > :18:01.but he did his best, well tackled by Jamie Macartney from Campbell.

:18:02. > :18:10.Again, the Campbell line-out, a bit of nonsense. What a charge by the

:18:11. > :18:16.tight head prop, still another year of school, still in lower sixth.

:18:17. > :18:23.Play-on, says the referee. Campbell will be ruined not able to get the

:18:24. > :18:35.ball back quickly enough -- not being able to get.

:18:36. > :18:44.Joseph Finnegan has plenty of time and has made a decent touch. Now in

:18:45. > :18:50.the second half of the first half. Only 3-0 to Ulster, Campbell have

:18:51. > :18:55.come back into it, it is fair to say. But the line-out play from both

:18:56. > :19:00.teams have been scrappy. They have had the intent to throw to the back

:19:01. > :19:23.of the line-out but the lack of accuracy for both in the throwing.

:19:24. > :19:39.Ben Webb does well to get across the halfway line.

:19:40. > :19:51.A rare mistake by La Roux. -- by Michael Lowry. Michael Lowry looking

:19:52. > :19:57.to move across the pitch rather than taking it flat, but from a Campbell

:19:58. > :20:00.perspective Tom O'Toole is definitely the go to man, carrying

:20:01. > :20:07.ball, doing a lot of damage but sucking Gynt two or three defenders

:20:08. > :20:12.at one time. Eventually that will take its toll. Good work at the

:20:13. > :20:33.breakdown by Campbell. This is the younger of the Crowther

:20:34. > :20:53.Brothers, Matthew, in lower sixth. John Crowther, the elder of the two,

:20:54. > :20:58.his dad was a fine flanker in the day. Inst give away another penalty.

:20:59. > :21:05.Inst committing a lot of offences at the breakdown. In this occasion,

:21:06. > :21:11.nowhere near behind the back. We have seen Campbell go round the

:21:12. > :21:15.corner, John Dickson trotting back, tries to kick it through, nowhere

:21:16. > :21:25.near the back foot, and the referee in a perfect position. The

:21:26. > :21:31.interesting option Campbell may have, it looks like it will be John

:21:32. > :21:36.Crowther, the openside forward, who will be handed the duties 1st of

:21:37. > :21:42.August afternoon. The last fellow wearing number seven I can remember

:21:43. > :21:45.kicking goals was way back in the early 70s, John Taylor, who kicked a

:21:46. > :21:53.monumental conversion at Murrayfield to give Wales a grand slam. That was

:21:54. > :22:00.before your time, Tony! A fine player in his own regard.

:22:01. > :22:22.From straight in front, directed between the Inst posts. Terrific

:22:23. > :22:27.kick by John Crowther. After soaking up a lot of early Inst pressure,

:22:28. > :22:34.Campbell have come back after 22 minutes of the first half at the

:22:35. > :22:38.Kingspan Stadium. It is even, 3-3. A great strike by John Crowther, took

:22:39. > :22:46.his time, kept his head down. Probably had a few more metres in

:22:47. > :22:54.that as well. Campbell facing a very strong low spring sun.

:22:55. > :23:03.That has gone straight into touch, that should not happen. Careless by

:23:04. > :23:05.James Hume, I'm sure he knows that. The ball clipped the line, it is

:23:06. > :23:22.out, that is what happened. There is the great Brian Francis

:23:23. > :23:27.Robinson, former Ireland number eight, scored four tries against

:23:28. > :23:47.Zimbabwe in the World Cup in 1991, a rare feat for a back row forward.

:23:48. > :23:56.Finegan with lots of time and what a good reply. It is the sort of kick

:23:57. > :23:59.that forwards like to see. Better as a forward if you have two initially

:24:00. > :24:03.turned to go back after a kick to see your full-back picked it up and

:24:04. > :24:06.kick it well over your head, more importantly getting it into touch.

:24:07. > :24:30.It buys you a few seconds of respite.

:24:31. > :24:46.Campbell took it to ground. Inst will get the put into the scrum.

:24:47. > :24:53.Robinson will not be happy with that as a forward. Winning the line-out,

:24:54. > :25:00.you need to transfer that to the back of the maul as quickly as you

:25:01. > :25:20.can. Campbell will be disappointed with that. Put in for Inst. Against

:25:21. > :25:30.Matthew Russell. Quick pick-up from the back. Nicely done. Good little

:25:31. > :25:45.break. Presented it nicely. O'Donnell gets it away quickly.

:25:46. > :25:57.Could support yet again by Charlie Friars. Lowry. Ben Webb has to run

:25:58. > :26:03.and cover and does really well and gets it away. Terrific piece of

:26:04. > :26:10.play. Hasn't found touch, but found Finnegan. We bit of room on the near

:26:11. > :26:21.side. Inst kept it in play on the far

:26:22. > :26:28.touchline. We thought they had, but the touch judge's flag is up.

:26:29. > :26:32.Somebody in black and yellow in touch. Coming from left to right.

:26:33. > :26:44.Mark King from the left wing making that incision. Putting pace onto it.

:26:45. > :26:52.One-handed flick out the back door. Sensational play by these 17,

:26:53. > :27:04.18-year-olds. Great skill level. Good take and drive. O'Donnell has

:27:05. > :27:15.to dig it out himself. Good ground made by Inst. A little

:27:16. > :27:24.overcomplicated, perhaps. Away goes Jack Hart, but he runs into the even

:27:25. > :27:34.bigger James Hume. That's good work by John Crowther, the kicker of the

:27:35. > :27:41.penalty. James Nelson met by Dixon. Good looping round by Ben Webb.

:27:42. > :27:53.Justin Savage looking for a bit of work. The referee has told Inst to

:27:54. > :27:58.release and they haven't and again they've been penalised at the

:27:59. > :28:02.breakdown. I think he's going to have a wee word with the skipper

:28:03. > :28:11.about the consistent nonsense going on at the breakdown. Think you

:28:12. > :28:15.landed awkwardly on his shoulder. Couple of Inst guys down as the

:28:16. > :28:19.water comes on. They are starting to get ragged around the edges. One,

:28:20. > :28:25.two, three offenders hanging off him. Saps the energy of the

:28:26. > :28:36.defenders seeing somebody of that size coming at you. Three or four

:28:37. > :28:40.stone is a big weight advantage. Anxious times for John Dixon.

:28:41. > :28:52.Terrific support for both these schools.

:28:53. > :29:02.I used to like the chance from the Methodist College, when they said

:29:03. > :29:08.you've got no girls are your school. Great support here from both

:29:09. > :29:16.schools. In the family stand, if you know it, here. A cacophony and great

:29:17. > :29:22.deal from both sets of fans. Credit to the schools. John Dixon seemed to

:29:23. > :29:27.have a problem with his left leg. Don't think it is cramped, but it

:29:28. > :29:32.might be his knee. Couple of useful prop forwards on the bench. Jake

:29:33. > :29:47.Chambers been demoted because of progress made by Carol Reed.

:29:48. > :29:55.He doesn't look too comfortable. Carries a lot of experience. One of

:29:56. > :30:02.their leaders in the front. Captained the side a few times. He

:30:03. > :30:08.is tackling, in your face. Sure he's not short of a word or two. Knowing

:30:09. > :30:14.his father quite well, he's not short of a word or two, either. The

:30:15. > :30:20.clock will start again, coming up to half an hour played, Honours even.

:30:21. > :30:25.What a great competition it has been down the years. Great players have

:30:26. > :30:29.raised this crown. Here come Campbell again, this is great stuff.

:30:30. > :30:45.Chip and chase, this could be the opening try. Just cleared by Inst.

:30:46. > :30:55.That was so close. Beautiful. The Campbell centre, loads of gaps down

:30:56. > :31:02.the right side. Fence off my glory. Defended superbly, there.

:31:03. > :31:09.Short and chunky but plenty of pace. Very nearly got to it. Because the

:31:10. > :31:13.ball was in play when it was kicked that it will be a five metre scrum

:31:14. > :31:20.to Campbell, the closest they have been to the Inst line. About half an

:31:21. > :31:23.hour played. Crucial scrum, particularly with John Dixon

:31:24. > :31:32.struggling a bit in terms of his fitness. Try scorer in the

:31:33. > :31:39.semifinal. Low centre of gravity, very strong. If he can get across

:31:40. > :31:47.five or six metres he will be more than happy. Campbell have dominated,

:31:48. > :31:54.but now they have a great chance. Good squeeze in the scrum. Well

:31:55. > :31:59.covered by the men in black and yellow. Here is the Campbell number

:32:00. > :32:07.eight, taken around the ankles so he cannot move.

:32:08. > :32:18.That's knocked forward. The referee playing advantage to Campbell, can

:32:19. > :32:26.they take advantage? Again Inst have him by the ankles. Still therefore

:32:27. > :32:33.Campbell. That's good defending in the middle of the park by Inst. But

:32:34. > :32:37.they conceded a penalty. So what do you do here with half-time

:32:38. > :32:39.approaching? Quite simply take the points. I think Patrick Beverley Mr

:32:40. > :32:49.point on the play before that. Last defender inside the uprights.

:32:50. > :32:56.Justin Savage was in acres of space. Unable to read the situation.

:32:57. > :33:12.James Hume again. What a decision by the Campbell skipper, James Doyle.

:33:13. > :33:16.Pops it into touch. His dad Charlie was the outside-half when Campbell

:33:17. > :33:24.won the final in 1980. Richard Kennedy was the skipper. In the

:33:25. > :33:31.front row was one Gordon Hamilton. Big line-out, this, for the Campbell

:33:32. > :33:41.skipper. And it did not work out for them. What an awful pass by Inst.

:33:42. > :33:47.Great chance now for Campbell. Wonderful tackle. What a terrific

:33:48. > :33:53.piece of tackling by the left wing Mark King. Still Campbell have it.

:33:54. > :34:01.Corrie has a little guard himself. Need somebody to play scrum-half.

:34:02. > :34:07.Skipper James Doyle obliges. Keeping that black machine churning forward.

:34:08. > :34:22.Bevel and again. Good pass. Here comes Howard. Inst may have stolen

:34:23. > :34:29.that one again. The tackling from Inst is good, preventing the big

:34:30. > :34:34.fellow from going forward. Here is Nelson. Campbell edging ever closer.

:34:35. > :34:41.Looking for the first try of what has been a pulsating final here.

:34:42. > :34:48.Play on, says the referee. Again Inst do not clear it particularly

:34:49. > :34:54.well. All the way back was Ben Webb. He has got away. Good transfer to

:34:55. > :35:04.Justin Savage, who can scamper a bit. They have managed to steal it.

:35:05. > :35:12.Reese O'Donnell gets it away for the holders. That's a knock-on. I think

:35:13. > :35:17.the sun in the eyes was responsible for that rather than a lack of

:35:18. > :35:26.ability. A bit unfortunate for Jack Hart who knocked it forward. He's

:35:27. > :35:33.had a good half as well. Two really tired sets of players out here. A

:35:34. > :35:39.fast and frenetic opening 35mm. And look at that tackle. Driving his

:35:40. > :35:44.opposite number into the ground and quickly back on his feet trying to

:35:45. > :35:48.get the turnover. I always hope for three things in the schools cup

:35:49. > :35:54.final, that nobody gets injured, that we have a great day out, and

:35:55. > :35:59.that we see as many of these young men as possible carrying on with

:36:00. > :36:05.rugby at whatever level after the schools cup final. A lot of these

:36:06. > :36:09.young men have put a lot of time and effort into rugby. Different

:36:10. > :36:14.situations can arise for tertiary education. The academy system Ulster

:36:15. > :36:21.have in place is as good as anything out there. Player retention is

:36:22. > :36:27.something they know is of paramount importance. What concerns me is that

:36:28. > :36:29.they are not scooped up by the academy and go on to development,

:36:30. > :36:48.don't play rugby for the fun of it. Some clubs are struggling to get

:36:49. > :36:55.second and third teams. A little glimpse of Rory Scholes, cup winner

:36:56. > :37:08.for Campbell five years ago. Heading off to Edinburgh next season. Just a

:37:09. > :37:11.few seconds remaining the first half with no tries. Both sides had their

:37:12. > :37:24.chances but couldn't quite take them. So a penalty apiece. James

:37:25. > :37:29.Hume and Jack Crowther. Quick pick-up by Inst. This is better.

:37:30. > :37:38.Half a chance here if this can be shifted. Needs to get it away and he

:37:39. > :37:42.does. Spilled forward, though. That was Konta field. He missed the final

:37:43. > :37:53.last year because of injury. Had a few injury problems. Lorry again,

:37:54. > :38:02.threading the past. Jack Howard makes a good tackle. There's been no

:38:03. > :38:05.lack of invention. 3-3 is hardly flattering scoreline the level of

:38:06. > :38:13.rugby and the quality has been befitting of any final. This may

:38:14. > :38:20.well be the last piece of this entertaining and energetic first

:38:21. > :38:27.half, Campbell scrum. Bit of a squeeze by the holders. Back inside,

:38:28. > :38:37.that's a charge down but it's going to go dead. That was something of a

:38:38. > :38:43.chance. The referee has decided it is a 22 drop out. By our timing

:38:44. > :38:48.device we have played more than a minute of the normal 35. I think the

:38:49. > :38:58.referee has been told he is into extra time. Inst could have scored

:38:59. > :39:05.quite easily. Very prosperous afternoon so far in the number seven

:39:06. > :39:11.shirt for Inst. Good in the turnover and on that occasion putting good

:39:12. > :39:16.pressure on the kick chase. That has gone to nobody in particular. Taken

:39:17. > :39:23.in by Carol Reed who has had a quiet game by his own standards. Medallion

:39:24. > :39:26.shield winner couple of years ago. We bit isolated. Charlie Friars

:39:27. > :39:35.takes it forward into the Campbell half. Inst putting some width on it

:39:36. > :39:39.and losing possession, that it went backwards. Good defending by

:39:40. > :39:57.Campbell. Lowry has done terrifically well.

:39:58. > :40:04.The ball has been stripped forward and Inst have got the penalty.

:40:05. > :40:08.That's better, taking the ball flat, trying to commit some of the

:40:09. > :40:12.opposition defenders. Perhaps in the first half he has been guilty of

:40:13. > :40:17.sliding across the pitch to easily. Some utterly unforced errors. In the

:40:18. > :40:27.last 15 to 20 minutes he has been full of inventiveness. Keeping the

:40:28. > :40:32.backline very honest. The Inst skipper has asked his goal-kicking

:40:33. > :40:38.centre James Hume to try to give Inst the half-time lead. Bit of

:40:39. > :40:42.attention being given to Carol Reed, I think he will be fine.

:40:43. > :41:11.Done really well to survive a couple of nasty bangs.

:41:12. > :41:20.This for a half-time lead. He has given that a fair belt. Needs to

:41:21. > :41:24.come in. What a kick. He got it right when it mattered most, at the

:41:25. > :41:34.end of the first half of the schools cup final. He has given his side the

:41:35. > :41:41.lead, just by three points, but that will give them a real Philip. Beast

:41:42. > :41:46.of a kick by James Hume. I am sure Ian Humphreys will have plenty to

:41:47. > :41:52.say about that. Great first half of rugby with both teams showing plenty

:41:53. > :41:57.of invention. STUDIO: That's the best 6-3 I have seen in quite a

:41:58. > :42:03.while. Have we got our money 's worth? As you said, 6-3 does not

:42:04. > :42:05.reflect how good a game it has been. Both teams have shown plenty of

:42:06. > :42:11.ambition but been unfortunate with the final pass. They are both trying

:42:12. > :42:14.to throw it about. They have been showing their skills with nice

:42:15. > :42:20.off-loads, hopefully the same in the second half. Have you been

:42:21. > :42:23.impressed? We have seen some good play, particularly from Inst.

:42:24. > :42:29.Campbell have been building through the phases nicely. This was one of

:42:30. > :42:36.many carries. Unfortunately there has also been a lot of soft errors.

:42:37. > :42:38.There we are seeing one of them. All in all a lot of positive rugby being

:42:39. > :42:47.played. Not many tight head is art that

:42:48. > :42:54.mobile and involved? No, he is a big fella! Another good break there,

:42:55. > :43:00.just a shame it could not be finished off, the story of the half.

:43:01. > :43:07.But O2 has carried well and the Inst defence have been sucked in by him.

:43:08. > :43:14.There have been a few mistakes but a lot of good defence, both teams will

:43:15. > :43:17.be happy with how they have defended, just disappointed with the

:43:18. > :43:21.couple of mistakes they might not have made on a different occasion.

:43:22. > :43:26.If either team can get rid of those small errors they could go on and

:43:27. > :43:30.score a few tries here because we have seen ambition and enterprise.

:43:31. > :43:38.Campbell had a decent opening about five minutes from the end of the

:43:39. > :43:46.half. Yes, we had a similar move at Ulster, just an over read there. A

:43:47. > :43:49.great option to chip in, a fantastic run across, great play all round.

:43:50. > :43:56.That is what you want to see on days like today. They were unlucky not to

:43:57. > :44:02.finish it but it was great ambition and good pigeon from the centre to

:44:03. > :44:07.put the kick through. The inside pass was covered well. Two back Bill

:44:08. > :44:12.with us today but set piece in schools rugby is always a big

:44:13. > :44:16.factor. It is, Inst have been good of first and second phase.

:44:17. > :44:23.Unfortunately here for Campbell the line-out went awry.

:44:24. > :44:30.They have been unlucky, it has been good defence by Inst. If they can

:44:31. > :44:34.sort that out in the second part I'm sure they can make in dent into the

:44:35. > :44:38.defence. Is it a game that is calling for a cool head, maybe even

:44:39. > :44:44.at half-time the coaches having a quiet word? I have seen Campbell go

:44:45. > :44:51.to the five or six man line-out using a tall. We might see more of

:44:52. > :44:55.that in the second half. As I said before the game, Campbell have had a

:44:56. > :44:59.successful line-out all year, they have executed many in training. They

:45:00. > :45:10.have got to get their head around the fact there are a few people here

:45:11. > :45:18.watching the game. As ten, does the game need someone to dictate the

:45:19. > :45:21.pace? I think it is a case of, towards the end of the line they

:45:22. > :45:33.were attacking well, getting space. I think if they can manage the game

:45:34. > :45:39.well they will win it. Have you been impressed with the skill level?

:45:40. > :45:43.Absolutely, apart from a couple of small errors, we have seen some

:45:44. > :45:47.incredible off-loads, particularly from a couple of Inst backs, some

:45:48. > :45:51.lovely play and hopefully more to come in the second half. The boys

:45:52. > :45:54.have been impressed, I wonder about the Ulster director of rugby.

:45:55. > :46:00.What did you make of that first half? I'm loving it. Some

:46:01. > :46:04.interesting happenings. The line-out under pressure for Campbell, they

:46:05. > :46:13.are fighting hard. Some lovely breaks but great defensive play by

:46:14. > :46:17.the 11 and 12. Inst have made nice inroads but have not been clinical

:46:18. > :46:21.enough to take the points. Worthy of a final. What sort of platform is

:46:22. > :46:26.the schools cup Finals for these lads to impress people in the Ulster

:46:27. > :46:30.management structure? It is massive, we want to improve this area of the

:46:31. > :46:33.game so that we can target players to come forward into the systems and

:46:34. > :46:37.what we are seeing today is indicative of what we are after,

:46:38. > :46:43.good "A great day, seeing some talent. With your Australian hat on,

:46:44. > :46:53.how is this competition beauty in the outside world? In every major

:46:54. > :46:58.rugby area deep schools competition is important. In Sydney similar

:46:59. > :47:02.crowds come to a competition like this. I'm glad the weather is like

:47:03. > :47:06.this today, and that we are seeing two teams that are willing to back

:47:07. > :47:12.their skill sets. Still in the balance, 6-4 it, it will be

:47:13. > :47:16.interesting. There is an Australian line-out on the pitch today, what

:47:17. > :47:21.have you made off in safe? Tom is doing well, he has made some good

:47:22. > :47:25.surges. If they get the line-out right Campbell can be back tonight

:47:26. > :47:30.but the backline of Inst have thrown some nice plays in there. It is

:47:31. > :47:40.going to go down to the wire. Thank you for your time. Back to you. Good

:47:41. > :47:51.to see the Ulster director of rugby here. How important is it that

:47:52. > :47:56.Ulster are generating young players? We have said before, they cannot

:47:57. > :48:00.keep buying World Cup winning players, it starts at 15, 16, and we

:48:01. > :48:05.have seen plenty of talent on show today. Players don't have to be the

:48:06. > :48:08.finished article at the stage, they have to have areas of skill they can

:48:09. > :48:13.develop, and if they showed those skills today they could get into an

:48:14. > :48:19.academy and the world is their oyster. Thank you very much, I think

:48:20. > :48:21.the boys are ready, let's join our commentary team of Tony McWhirter

:48:22. > :48:26.and Jim Neilly. Come on label it will be the

:48:27. > :48:32.Campbell centre Nicolai Koplewsky who will get this underway. His dad

:48:33. > :48:36.played for Stade Francais, if my reckoning is right, and got a B

:48:37. > :48:49.international cap. Blair Robinson has come on for

:48:50. > :49:31.Pierce McLernon. In Steve Waight the first penalty.

:49:32. > :49:34.-- Inst give away the first penalty. Nick Campbell will feel if he can

:49:35. > :49:39.sort out the set piece which malfunctioned badly in the first

:49:40. > :49:43.half they certainly will have another opportunity in the second

:49:44. > :49:49.half to potentially win this game. From a Inst perspective, it is clear

:49:50. > :49:52.to see what their game plan will be, they will try to stretch Campbell

:49:53. > :49:58.and look to unlock their defence with quick outside backs. Consider

:49:59. > :50:02.that we haven't mentioned Conor Field in the first half, he has bags

:50:03. > :50:14.of place and potential, he will look to get himself involved a bit more.

:50:15. > :50:32.John Dickson puts in south into a strong tackle. -- puts himself.

:50:33. > :50:47.Jack Barry-Glendinning, well set up by Campbell's number eight. James

:50:48. > :50:49.Boyle making inroads into the Inst defence, which has been pretty solid

:50:50. > :51:31.so far. That was rather unfortunate for

:51:32. > :51:37.Malcolm Corry. Mixed feelings in the Corry household because his dad is a

:51:38. > :51:47.member of the Inst Board of Governors. He is supporting his son

:51:48. > :51:53.this afternoon, you would not blame him. Surgeon by profession so if you

:51:54. > :52:03.need to have your need done he will do it for you in the blink of an

:52:04. > :52:07.eye! There have not been many scrums in this game, which is pretty

:52:08. > :52:31.indicative of the skills level and the interned by both teams.

:52:32. > :52:43.Inst get it back to loosehead prop Callum Reid. Off the bench in the

:52:44. > :53:02.final last year. Away goes the Inst skipper Conor Field.

:53:03. > :53:09.Clever by Ben Webb, he saw a bit of space, here goes Justin Savage and

:53:10. > :53:20.again Inst's defence is good. Bob tool in there quickly. -- Tom Hoge

:53:21. > :53:22.tool. Again, Justin Savage trying to create mayhem in the middle of the

:53:23. > :53:46.park. This is better by the men in Black.

:53:47. > :54:15.Good switch by Martin Corrie. -- Malcolm Corry.

:54:16. > :54:25.Beverland has a go, this is good stuff, here comes Ben Webb, looking

:54:26. > :54:29.for the first try. Campbell pressing as they did in the first half, to

:54:30. > :54:35.Riddick start to the second half will stop -- terrific start to the

:54:36. > :54:46.second half. A real chance here if they can shift

:54:47. > :54:54.this, it has to go. Good recovery by Inst. A genuine chance there, well

:54:55. > :54:58.read by Inst. Inst's defence was struggling there, they were trying

:54:59. > :55:01.to plug the holes very quickly, Campbell getting repeat possession,

:55:02. > :55:15.stretching the pitch from side to side. Good defence by Inst.

:55:16. > :55:21.Inst seems to have enough defenders in the right place at the right

:55:22. > :55:24.time. It has been a great start to the second half by Campbell, they

:55:25. > :55:30.have asked a lot of questions. The referee having a word with the Inst

:55:31. > :55:36.captain. REFEREE: We have had a couple of

:55:37. > :55:45.incidents of foul play with your site, the next may go for impaired

:55:46. > :55:50.and is. Being told there will not be a penalty this time, a bit of foul

:55:51. > :56:01.play there. -- may go for an impediment. The referee had played

:56:02. > :56:04.an advantage and Inst will get a line-out. It was John Dickson who

:56:05. > :56:28.invoked the tackle. Inst warming up another replacement.

:56:29. > :56:33.Not a good time or place to be losing your own line-out. Tom

:56:34. > :56:42.O'Toole, headgear firmly back on his head.

:56:43. > :56:50.Numbers one and three in black have been outstanding, here is number

:56:51. > :57:00.three. Good footwork. Martin Corrie again -- Malcolm Corry again. Surely

:57:01. > :57:06.Campbell will benefit from this? Tom oh tall pile them. Jack

:57:07. > :57:18.Barry-Glendinning, what a wonderful tackle by instant -- Tom O'Toole

:57:19. > :57:25.piles in. Wave after wave of black attack.

:57:26. > :57:35.A chance now, this could be it, Campbell are going to get it, no,

:57:36. > :57:40.they are not, terrific tackle. Inst have somehow kept their line intact

:57:41. > :57:46.and have somehow managed to get a defensive scrum. How many times have

:57:47. > :57:54.we mentioned this afternoon in terms of scrambled defence. Just does

:57:55. > :58:08.enough, more importantly stays on his feet. Inst really hanging on

:58:09. > :58:11.here. Replacement in the front row, Corrie Barrett is going to be coming

:58:12. > :58:18.on, John Dickson, who has battled and weathered a few injuries, goes

:58:19. > :58:30.off. On comes number 18, Corrie Barrett. John Dickson will have to

:58:31. > :58:34.sit and wait and see to see if you will get a second successive schools

:58:35. > :58:38.cup winners medal, unless of course something happens and he has to come

:58:39. > :58:43.back on again. It will be interesting to see how the coaches

:58:44. > :58:47.decide to use the bench. There has been plenty of open play, I'm sure

:58:48. > :58:51.there will be lots of guys out there who are tired. Guys will pick up

:58:52. > :58:59.cramp and potentially injury in the second half. It could be the

:59:00. > :59:03.substitutes and the strength of the bench that decide the outcome of the

:59:04. > :59:11.game. Campbell making a replacement in the front row. John McKee is

:59:12. > :59:22.coming on, the Campbell tight head prop.

:59:23. > :59:30.They said the tight head prop is now the cornerstone of the crumb. Inst

:59:31. > :59:53.have got that away. That is called a good exit strategy,

:59:54. > :00:01.I believe. Outside centre coming in a short line, beat the first

:00:02. > :00:09.defender. Beautiful. Inst have made another change, flanked at Yasser

:00:10. > :00:10.Omar, only a lower sixth, has come on for Charles Cloke, who was

:00:11. > :00:30.struggling a little bit. That was not backwards. A big gap

:00:31. > :00:34.opened up but there was some obstruction in the middle. Inst will

:00:35. > :00:52.be relieved to get a penalty. Perhaps just miss read, don't think

:00:53. > :00:54.he did too much wrong. My glory Reddit and peeled off in quite

:00:55. > :01:13.simply, but the intent was there. Bolster schools under 17 and under

:01:14. > :01:24.18, and he has been selected for the Irish schools under 18 for the

:01:25. > :01:29.forthcoming championship. Here is Niall Salters, whose grandfather

:01:30. > :01:45.John was instrumental in funding the lights here. Inst have gone through.

:01:46. > :01:46.Campbell have secured it. Looking for something to chase. Not a bad

:01:47. > :02:04.kick. Very clumsy by Inst. Playing with a

:02:05. > :02:17.degree of anxiety at the moment. Taking their right off the ball. It

:02:18. > :02:23.was the right call. Clever box-kick. Inst had a two or three man

:02:24. > :02:29.advantage. Taking his eyes off it and Campbell pick-up in midfield

:02:30. > :02:35.scrum with options aplenty. Eight minutes played in the second half.

:02:36. > :02:43.Still 6-3 but under pressure. Better scrum on the back foot. Got it away

:02:44. > :02:59.well. Into contact. Barry Glendinning. Wonderful tackle by

:03:00. > :03:04.Inst. Four men outside him. For the first time his call was not the

:03:05. > :03:08.right one in terms of passing. Oh, Cory has made a break. And again

:03:09. > :03:15.Inst need to be good at the tackling. Campbell get on the front

:03:16. > :03:21.foot. Ben Webb into the line. Inst have stolen that. They have done it

:03:22. > :03:25.illegally, it would seem. The penalty count against Inst is

:03:26. > :03:31.getting very high. The referee has had a word with the young skipper

:03:32. > :03:36.Conor Field about that and may well think about going to the pocket. He

:03:37. > :03:43.doesn't want to but he may be left with no choice. Persistent

:03:44. > :03:50.infringement, no matter what game, the yellow card will come

:03:51. > :03:53.eventually. He reads him and get on the blindside of him. Campbell are

:03:54. > :04:12.getting the first man over the ball. Campbell have got their foot on the

:04:13. > :04:19.gas, on the front foot as well. Inst are struggling for inspiration.

:04:20. > :04:24.Campbell have decided their skipper James Boyle has asked his flanker to

:04:25. > :04:28.kick a penalty in the first half to bring the sides back on level terms.

:04:29. > :04:36.Played about nine minutes in the second half.

:04:37. > :04:51.Tough enough kick, and the angle is pretty narrow. Well it looked as if

:04:52. > :04:56.it was going out then it looked as though it was going in, and it

:04:57. > :05:02.didn't fall between the two. It went to the far side of the posts as John

:05:03. > :05:08.Crowther was kicking. Somehow Inst have survived a lot of Campbell

:05:09. > :05:13.pressure and it stays at 6-3 for the holders. 15 minutes gone in the

:05:14. > :05:16.second half and Inst taking their time, trying to get the game plan

:05:17. > :05:27.back in operation. Clearing the lines well. Inst will be looking for

:05:28. > :05:30.a good kick chase. He has put that long and put it directly into touch,

:05:31. > :05:41.and that's the second time James Hume has done that. Well may he hang

:05:42. > :05:48.his head, but he shouldn't do that. One hastens to say a schoolboy

:05:49. > :05:52.error, but it was. Given the circumstances, straight up the

:05:53. > :05:57.middle of the park would do nicely. One of those nothing kicks, not long

:05:58. > :06:02.enough to cause any problems, not short enough to catch. Not sure what

:06:03. > :06:08.sort of kick he thought he was doing. They will not be happy. They

:06:09. > :06:16.may well be bathed in sunshine and leading but they will not be too

:06:17. > :06:35.happy. It was attired kick. They are rocking. Nicely away.

:06:36. > :06:49.Taken above his head by O2. Nicely done.

:06:50. > :07:04.A little readjustment. It is still in play.

:07:05. > :07:22.Defending well. Campbell thundering in. Rhys O'Donnell has come away

:07:23. > :07:33.with it for Inst. Nobody on this nearside. The kick is charged down.

:07:34. > :07:38.James Hume is having a bit of an afternoon to forget. He is

:07:39. > :07:41.struggling in the second half. Campbell are on the front foot,

:07:42. > :07:49.everything is going their way bar the points on the board. The tackle

:07:50. > :08:01.by young Mike Laurie on Tom O'Toole, absolutely flattened him. Campbell

:08:02. > :08:06.applying all the pressure. Hoping to emulate his dad, the much loved

:08:07. > :08:11.Charlie, schools cup winner. Hard to believe it is 36 years ago since he

:08:12. > :08:19.and Gordie Hamilton played in the team captained by Richard Kennedy.

:08:20. > :08:29.That was 3-0. Not much difference between them here actually. That was

:08:30. > :08:35.an awful day, if I remember. This is the point in the match we have seen

:08:36. > :08:39.over the last few years, 15 or 20 minutes to go, a big occasion for

:08:40. > :08:43.these young men, lots of nervous energy spent before the game starts.

:08:44. > :08:48.What we tend to find in the second half is a degree of injuries and

:08:49. > :08:54.cramps. Any space that can be attacked can be a real source for

:08:55. > :09:01.the opposition. Unfortunately for Campbell James Nelson their second

:09:02. > :09:12.row forward is going off. He is replaced by number 20, Tom Brady.

:09:13. > :09:20.Nelson has had a good game, out of touch, carrying the ball. A tower of

:09:21. > :09:29.strength in the cab or pack this afternoon. And he is a lower sixth,

:09:30. > :09:30.so he has another year to play. Little bit of running repairs for

:09:31. > :09:48.Rhys O'Donnell. What a glorious afternoon it has

:09:49. > :09:54.been, here. Rhys O'Donnell on the Ireland under 18 squad with Johnny

:09:55. > :09:57.Stuart from Wallace high school. Brilliant to see Ulster having two

:09:58. > :10:04.quality scrum-half 's being represented at such a high level.

:10:05. > :10:08.Malcolm Corry is in the Ulster under 20 squad as well so he is a useful

:10:09. > :10:17.player as well. Still getting some treatment. Plenty of supporters from

:10:18. > :10:22.all ages. Two draws between the sides in the 13 previous encounters

:10:23. > :10:29.came in 1954 and a way back in 1960 when Robin Hope from Campbell and

:10:30. > :10:35.the great John burst from Inst shared the trophy. Campbell had the

:10:36. > :10:38.distinction of having Freddie Cray, schools cup winning captain way back

:10:39. > :10:46.in the early 60s, and Michael Gibson, has opposing captains in the

:10:47. > :10:49.varsity game, Oxford and Cambridge. Only time in the history of that

:10:50. > :10:51.particular fixture that it has happened with players from opposing

:10:52. > :11:09.schools. Campbell Pozo scrum. It has been all Campbell in the

:11:10. > :11:14.second half but nothing to show for it, will that change?

:11:15. > :11:25.Campbell need to get in quickly and recycle, they have done. This is the

:11:26. > :11:33.replacement, Tom Brady. Fresh legs. Off-loaded to John McKee. Campbell

:11:34. > :11:42.rumbling forward. James Boyle, the captain. Well tackled by Inst. That

:11:43. > :11:51.was silly from a Inst player, about to put his foot in. All it needs is

:11:52. > :11:58.one missed tackle. And Campbell are in for the game's first try. Their

:11:59. > :12:02.discipline has been terrific. Particularly in the second half. And

:12:03. > :12:08.they give away a penalty. Charlie Frye. Campbell just going back to

:12:09. > :12:14.type a little bit. Looking for one-off runners. In some ways that

:12:15. > :12:21.is easy to defend. Over the ball very quickly. Campbell able to get

:12:22. > :12:25.him out of there. Once again good communication from the referee this

:12:26. > :12:33.afternoon. The game has flowed for players on both sides. Makes the

:12:34. > :12:40.game in awful lot easier. Huge amount of pressure on these boys.

:12:41. > :12:43.There was some doubt about the fitness of Nicolai Koplewsky for

:12:44. > :12:49.this final but he has come through pretty well. That might be the

:12:50. > :13:01.Campbell skipper who is down injured. James Doyle, no relation to

:13:02. > :13:08.the Dail who played number eight in the 1960s. This is the cramping

:13:09. > :13:15.situation we have talked about. It has become more evident. The game

:13:16. > :13:20.loses its ebb and flow. What has been a fantastic opening 54 minutes,

:13:21. > :13:28.the game just loses a little momentum and tempo as these injuries

:13:29. > :13:32.start to pop up. Both schools have got strength and conditioning

:13:33. > :13:38.coaches, isn't that extraordinary? Just another name for PE teacher, is

:13:39. > :13:43.it not? Know, these are not PE teachers, they are employed as

:13:44. > :13:49.strength and conditioning coaches. They've got directors of rugby as

:13:50. > :13:54.well. It has been apparent from Ulster intends of the academy setup,

:13:55. > :13:58.lots of development officers going out to the schools and doing some

:13:59. > :14:03.coaching and giving their knowledge and time. Subsequently what we are

:14:04. > :14:07.starting to see is the fulfilment of that product on the pitch for both

:14:08. > :14:12.these teams and many other Ulster schools. Not sure how much longer

:14:13. > :14:22.James Doyle will be able to keep going. He's going to give it a go.

:14:23. > :14:28.Got a nasty bit of cramp, there. It's going to be cleared by Inst.

:14:29. > :14:34.Still no decision yet, can't see anybody warming up on the far side.

:14:35. > :14:38.If he is not OK there is no point in him continuing and he is not OK. And

:14:39. > :14:48.that's rather sad, to see anybody leave the field. I think that has to

:14:49. > :14:53.be the right call, he is struggling to walk never mind run. For the good

:14:54. > :14:59.of his team and school he has done the honourable thing and decided he

:15:00. > :15:06.cannot continue. Said Josh Campbell is on and it will be James Hume for

:15:07. > :15:18.Inst to clear. Josh Chambers, I should say. They have their own

:15:19. > :15:26.line-out put in, chance to get some possession, potentially. Still

:15:27. > :15:34.inside their own half, though. If it stays like this they will be quite

:15:35. > :15:39.ecstatic. Can Inst thunder forward from here? Vote on the narrow side

:15:40. > :15:52.has another go himself. Counter integral by Tom O'Toole.

:15:53. > :15:56.They need a scrum-half, there is nobody there at the moment. That's

:15:57. > :16:01.pretty hopeless at the breakdown by Inst. There was nobody there to pick

:16:02. > :16:08.up that ball. But they have regained possession. Callum read with the

:16:09. > :16:16.handoff. Good defending by Tom Brady. Humour.

:16:17. > :16:23.Set up perfectly for Ben Webb, and away goes Campbell's full-back. Good

:16:24. > :16:39.linkup with John Crowther, the openside flanker. Good inside pass

:16:40. > :16:50.by Glendinning. Not a good pass but well gathered in. That's a good

:16:51. > :16:56.kick. Well taken by Jack Howard. Campbell get the penalty. I think

:16:57. > :17:00.Inst might have a man in the bin, here. The referee by his own

:17:01. > :17:08.demeanour is not very happy about something. We will have to wait and

:17:09. > :17:16.see. There are bodies all over the place. I think it is all just cramp.

:17:17. > :17:19.You wonder what it is about this Ravenhill pitched that schoolboys

:17:20. > :17:28.can't play on. Certainly a bit of an issue. Mark Keane takes it. Uses the

:17:29. > :17:32.touchline, but the ball inside. Great cover by Jack Howard on the

:17:33. > :17:38.left wing. Maybe a bit of a head collision. Don't think there was too

:17:39. > :17:47.much intent. Picked up the ball, looking to go to ground. Somebody

:17:48. > :17:52.has been yellow carded. Not quite sure who it is. It may be a salt is.

:17:53. > :18:08.We will have to wait and see. So many players down with clap, it

:18:09. > :18:18.was reminiscent of Cheltenham this week -- down with cramp. Was it a

:18:19. > :18:23.high tackle? I don't know what the yellow card was for, there was

:18:24. > :18:31.nothing wrong with the tackle on the Campbell defender. Going over to his

:18:32. > :18:37.other touch judge. I'm at a loss as to why anybody might be carded.

:18:38. > :18:44.Destined to be having a discussion. I don't think anybody is going to

:18:45. > :18:51.the bin yet but the referee is taking his time. Mark Keane is going

:18:52. > :18:59.to go to the bin. Let's hear what he has to say.

:19:00. > :19:07.REFEREE: Yellow card. He said it was a high tackle? I would like to have

:19:08. > :19:12.another look at that. Only 15 minutes remaining, Inst down to 14

:19:13. > :19:23.man, one player gone because of cramp, Mark Keane after the bin. It

:19:24. > :19:28.has all been very stop start after half-time. I don't think there was

:19:29. > :19:35.anything wrong with that. Jack Hart has done well -- Jack Howard. I

:19:36. > :19:39.don't think there was any intent there. Fair play to Jack Howard,

:19:40. > :19:42.back on his feet, has not made a meal of it. Mark Keane coming

:19:43. > :19:48.inside, Howard comes across, picks the ball up. I don't think that is a

:19:49. > :19:54.high tackle. Nothing in that whatsoever. Inst have a player down

:19:55. > :20:02.on the far side getting a bit of a bandage around his head, I think it

:20:03. > :20:06.is the outside-half Michael Lowry. Still 6-4 recon as it was at the

:20:07. > :20:08.interval. Campbell looking the more likely to cross the opposition line.

:20:09. > :20:35.-- Inst give away another penalty at

:20:36. > :20:45.the breakdown, Lowry takes it quickly. Another Inst player down

:20:46. > :20:52.with cramp. Koplewsky. Surely Campbell must take advantage. Inst

:20:53. > :20:53.down to 14 men are another injured. Inst really digging in, defending as

:20:54. > :21:13.hard as they can go. Here is a man who could cause Inst

:21:14. > :21:18.problems. Campbell have meant out wide. Jamie Macartney, the flanker,

:21:19. > :21:31.goes straight. Inst in quickly with the tackle.

:21:32. > :21:36.Joseph Finnegan put in a very good tackle and the ball was knocked

:21:37. > :21:39.forward by him but I thought Inst might be penalised, but just as

:21:40. > :21:44.Granta Campbell. Campbell looking the more likely to win the game.

:21:45. > :21:53.Yes, they are applying pressure. Young Martin Corrie took the wrong

:21:54. > :21:56.decision there, -- Malcolm Corry. Inst with a man in the bin and

:21:57. > :22:01.another man down receiving treatment. The space was all down

:22:02. > :22:06.the Campbell left hand flank but credit where it is due to Inst, they

:22:07. > :22:10.picked up the tackles but one would say although Campbell are behind in

:22:11. > :22:15.the scoreline one could only see the next points coming from the team in

:22:16. > :22:26.black. It might be Charlie Fryers, the Inst brined side flanker --

:22:27. > :22:30.blindside flanker who is down injured. A lovely day here at the

:22:31. > :22:34.stadium, last year was pretty good, Inst just about came through that

:22:35. > :22:39.one and no more, they will have to find something special to keep

:22:40. > :22:43.Campbell at bay, because the boys from Belfast are impressing. Another

:22:44. > :22:50.cramp victim. I cannot see them going to much further. He looks in a

:22:51. > :22:59.lot of bother there. Inst have brought on their second two Mane

:23:00. > :23:03.back row forwards already, I'm not sure who Inst would bring on to play

:23:04. > :23:06.if they lose this man. They have to make a decision soon, they cannot

:23:07. > :23:11.leave him lying there for the rest of the game. He seems to be in a lot

:23:12. > :23:16.of pain. It has to be grump, if it was anything else they would have

:23:17. > :23:31.taken him off. If it is hamstring cramp, it is one of the worst out

:23:32. > :23:36.there. I feel his pain! A lot of old boys from both schools here, it has

:23:37. > :23:39.brought them out in their droves. Looking back down the years, some

:23:40. > :23:48.great players from both schools have played in Schools' Cup Finals and

:23:49. > :23:49.gone on to play for Ireland. Jimmy McKelvie, Jonathan Moffat, Brian

:23:50. > :24:09.Marshall, Mike Gibson. More recently, Gordon Hamilton and

:24:10. > :24:13.Paddy Wallace. And Inst have a great heritage in terms of producing Irish

:24:14. > :24:19.rugby internationals, no fewer than 85 have played for Ireland, 13

:24:20. > :24:25.British and Irish Lions including Robbie Thompson and Sammy Walker.

:24:26. > :24:37.Inst making another replacement. Charles Cloke coming back on again.

:24:38. > :24:46.Looks like it. Off goes Charlie Fryers, on comes Charles Cloke.

:24:47. > :24:50.Should Inst win this, I don't think he would get two medals. It is

:24:51. > :24:59.unfortunate, that looks rather nasty. The clock. Again. 12.5

:25:00. > :25:04.minutes of normal time remaining, Inst handing on that 6-3 lead that

:25:05. > :25:12.they enjoyed at the end of the first half -- the clock will start again.

:25:13. > :25:18.The referee is just checking the substitutions here. We know Charles

:25:19. > :25:23.Cloke went off in the first half and will potentially come back on. The

:25:24. > :25:30.assistant touch judge on the far side drawing the referee's attention

:25:31. > :25:34.to this. REFEREE: You cannot do that, you

:25:35. > :25:39.must go off. Once it is done, it is done. They are telling him that he

:25:40. > :25:49.cannot come on. He will check the nature of the injury. He may get a

:25:50. > :26:01.bit of clarification. All kinds of controversy, it could be going on

:26:02. > :26:04.tomorrow! He went off as a replacement, another player is down

:26:05. > :26:08.with injury so he has gone off and I'm going to bring this guy back on,

:26:09. > :26:18.tactical substitute. I can't have him once he has been tactically

:26:19. > :26:23.substituted. You are happy enough? Something confusing about the finer

:26:24. > :26:27.points of it all. Charles Cloke is not going to be allowed to come on

:26:28. > :26:34.to replace his injured back row colleague Charlie Fryers. I think

:26:35. > :26:39.that is fair enough. If there had been blood involved I could see the

:26:40. > :26:43.reason. And it was a front row forward, of course, but he cannot

:26:44. > :26:46.come back on when he has been substituted tactically. Subsequently

:26:47. > :26:50.the refereeing team have done well to pick that up as well only on

:26:51. > :26:54.before it has become a situation, because if he had been allowed to

:26:55. > :27:02.stay on the pitch and Inst had won this it would have been a bone of

:27:03. > :27:07.contention. Inst are bringing gone a replacement. More of that in a

:27:08. > :27:19.second. They have lost two of the back row

:27:20. > :27:21.forwards, they have lost both flanker is now. I Campbell scrum,

:27:22. > :27:44.surely Campbell have the chance. A quicker ball by Campbell, which is

:27:45. > :27:51.what they need. Terrific defending from Inst, Rhys O'Donnell should

:27:52. > :27:55.have got that away. Campbell have swallowed up the Inst scrum half and

:27:56. > :27:59.Inst give away another penalty. I don't think I have seen a higher

:28:00. > :28:03.penalty count against any side in the Schools' Cup Finals for quite a

:28:04. > :28:07.while. A big chance there, Rhys O'Donnell, after the initial

:28:08. > :28:13.turnover by Inst just to clear his lines. The second half, that it is

:28:14. > :28:18.-- that is what it has been about four Inst. It has been all Campbell,

:28:19. > :28:34.get they have had the inability to put any point on the board.

:28:35. > :28:40.Do you think it says more about the lack of place kicking than the

:28:41. > :28:49.line-out ability? Maybe, I think it does. We said the last scrum was a

:28:50. > :28:54.crucial set piece, this is an even more crucial set piece for Campbell.

:28:55. > :29:02.Jamie Clarke, replacement prop, to throw. Inst have managed to squeeze

:29:03. > :29:06.them into touch. That short ball to the front is the easiest to defend

:29:07. > :29:10.against because once you catch it they have only got five metres to go

:29:11. > :29:17.to touch. We talked about that at half-time, it happened in the first

:29:18. > :29:21.half, in the second half -- in the second half they have gone short but

:29:22. > :29:30.Inst have defended well. As soon as a man hits the ground they run it

:29:31. > :29:38.into touch. Neal Foulds is has not put too many target men. An awful,

:29:39. > :29:41.awful throw down in the scrum half, Inst have given away a penalty. Rhys

:29:42. > :29:54.O'Donnell could do nothing with that awful ball.

:29:55. > :30:02.The referee having a good look, they are not quite over the line yet.

:30:03. > :30:09.Inst get the scrum and somehow, yet again, Inst keep Campbell out. The

:30:10. > :30:16.important thing from a Campbell perspective, there is still ten

:30:17. > :30:20.minutes to play. Inst are playing as if the next whistle is the final

:30:21. > :30:26.whistle. Malcolm Corry, who took a quick penalty on this occasion, Inst

:30:27. > :30:32.depended with tremendous commitment and drive. The team in yellow and

:30:33. > :30:40.black once again keeping Campbell out. Inst still playing with 14 men.

:30:41. > :30:51.Mark Keane, the winger, is in the bin.

:30:52. > :31:01.That goes into touch and the pressure, albeit momentarily, is off

:31:02. > :31:04.Inst. Inst looking now to wind down the clock, which is difficult with

:31:05. > :31:08.14 men and with ten minutes still on the clock. They have to contain them

:31:09. > :31:16.until they can at least get parity backwards numbers. Can Rhys

:31:17. > :31:21.O'Donnell be a Schools' Cup winner like his grandpa, Des? Or will he be

:31:22. > :31:28.a Schools' Cup runner-up like his father, Keith? That was not

:31:29. > :31:35.straight, not the time to be throwing the ball like that. Perhaps

:31:36. > :31:44.the loss of Campbell's Captain James Boyle is coming to bear a little bit

:31:45. > :31:54.as well. On these days, experience can be everything. Inst now back for

:31:55. > :31:58.the last little period of this game, back to 14 men. Mark Keane, who we

:31:59. > :32:04.thought was sin-binned somewhat harshly, is back on, so the holders

:32:05. > :32:06.of the 14 men. They have hardly been outside their own 22, never mind

:32:07. > :32:10.their own half, since the second half of this game began. James Hume

:32:11. > :32:51.sitting into outside-half for Inst. Campbell back to just outside the

:32:52. > :32:56.Inst 22. They have taken both prop forward out of the Campbell

:32:57. > :33:07.line-out. Russell and Tom O Toole in the middle of the park. Wonderful

:33:08. > :33:30.tackling there by Inst. A heck of a tackle by Young Yasser

:33:31. > :33:34.Omar there! Right underneath the knees, stops him at source.

:33:35. > :33:38.Tremendous commitment. Great technique and even better

:33:39. > :33:45.determination from the Inst replacement. He is just in the lower

:33:46. > :33:51.sixth, and member of the medallion winning team a couple of years ago.

:33:52. > :33:54.Inst still within touching distance of that first ever Schools' Cup and

:33:55. > :34:10.medallion double double, two years in a row.

:34:11. > :34:17.Campbell is starting to wind things up but can they finish it off?

:34:18. > :34:29.Again, Inst hold it up. That should have been given, there

:34:30. > :34:42.were three men outside Patrick Beverland.

:34:43. > :34:56.How would trying to create a bit of a gap. -- Jack Howard. Plenty of

:34:57. > :35:04.wits in that one, where is it going to go? This could be the clincher!

:35:05. > :35:09.He is going to score, it is all the wafer Inst, and the holders might

:35:10. > :35:17.just have snatched another victory from nothing whatsoever! Can you

:35:18. > :35:22.believe it?! Inst had no ball in this second half, Campbell again

:35:23. > :35:26.showing that little bit of desperation to pass. James Hume has

:35:27. > :35:31.done some great things in this game of rugby, he has also made some

:35:32. > :35:36.mistakes, but big players in the right place at the right time. He

:35:37. > :35:41.showed plenty of pace and good attributes to go 50, 60 metres

:35:42. > :35:46.underneath the Campbell post. The revelry is having a little work with

:35:47. > :35:51.-- a little word with Mark Keane, who is still unhappy about being

:35:52. > :36:01.sin-binned. Jack Hume had plenty of strength, he thought about the past

:36:02. > :36:04.but he didn't need to pass, and he has scampered in for what could be

:36:05. > :36:09.the conclusive try, although we still have a fair bit to go.

:36:10. > :36:15.Campbell just couldn't get to him. And the referee has blown the

:36:16. > :36:19.whistle and it is all over, it seems a bit on the early side by my

:36:20. > :36:23.reckoning! I thought there was a fair old brick to play, I'm amazed

:36:24. > :36:29.the whistle has gone so early, but it doesn't really matter as far as

:36:30. > :36:34.Inst are concerned. They have won this Schools' Cup. I don't know what

:36:35. > :36:37.else Campbell could have done today. Potentially they turned down two or

:36:38. > :36:42.three opportunities but take nothing away from the team in gold and

:36:43. > :36:46.black. They have been superb, great first half showing plenty of

:36:47. > :36:52.invention in the second, they really held on. Great determination

:36:53. > :36:58.defensively. Such will and desire, last effort tackling. James Hume

:36:59. > :37:04.going the length, 50, 60 metres at the end, to win that the Inst. A

:37:05. > :37:09.great final and a great spectacle by both teams. Fantastic commitment and

:37:10. > :37:14.level of skill, no shortage of skill from both teams.

:37:15. > :37:24.The second half was poor by any standard. A lot of injury, a lot of

:37:25. > :37:27.chances not taken. One single chance in the second half and, my word,

:37:28. > :37:31.they took it when James Hughton scooped it up and have the pace,

:37:32. > :37:36.strength and sheer determination to get across between the Campbell

:37:37. > :37:49.posts. No conversion but it didn't matter. We can go and speak to the

:37:50. > :37:53.victorious Inst captain. You have completed the double, how does it

:37:54. > :37:59.feel? Indescribable. I cannot describe this feeling. I'm so proud

:38:00. > :38:06.of them. Fair play to Campbell, that was an unbelievable amount of

:38:07. > :38:11.pressure. We really felt it coming. But we defended strong. After the

:38:12. > :38:18.yellow card, did you feel like the game was getting away from you? I

:38:19. > :38:23.knew we would have to work a bit harder. But that wasn't a problem

:38:24. > :38:26.for us. The last-minute try, what was it like seeing that from the

:38:27. > :38:31.other half of the pitch? Absolutely amazing. My heart goes out to the

:38:32. > :38:37.Campbell lads, I know how much that would have meant to them. This man

:38:38. > :38:44.here was the try scorer. How did it feel touching down? It was amazing.

:38:45. > :38:48.Thoroughly enjoyed the game. Quite a turn of pace you have. I didn't even

:38:49. > :38:53.know I had it. Turned out for the best. To complete the double is a

:38:54. > :39:03.special occasion, how does it feel? Amazing. Last year, but it is

:39:04. > :39:08.something else to do it this year. Over to your coach, Dan. The 140th

:39:09. > :39:15.schools cup, two years in a row, how special is it? Listen, I am starting

:39:16. > :39:19.to look old and I feel a lot older. That was a hell of the second half.

:39:20. > :39:24.Campbell threw absolutely everything at us. I wasn't sure if we have the

:39:25. > :39:29.resilience to defend as well as we did in the second half. Everything

:39:30. > :39:33.was going their way. They played really well in the second half. But

:39:34. > :39:38.we kept getting up and making those tackles. Pretty special to win it,

:39:39. > :39:44.and as tight as that. What did you make of the yellow card? I'll have a

:39:45. > :39:51.chat with Stuart afterwards about it. I don't know, it was a high

:39:52. > :39:55.tackle I think. We will worry about that later. This man was so

:39:56. > :40:02.influential in the winning try, how did it feel when it touched down?

:40:03. > :40:10.Unreal. He latched onto the ball and got into a bit of space. I was

:40:11. > :40:16.roaring, I was out of my seat. So yeah, look, I'm delighted for the

:40:17. > :40:19.guys. And for James with his goal-kicking, he has worked really

:40:20. > :40:24.hard on his goal-kicking. He made all three shots at goal which was

:40:25. > :40:34.pretty crucial. Go and enjoy the celebrations. A very exhausted but

:40:35. > :40:36.delighted Daniel Soper who came to RBAI from Ballyclare high school,

:40:37. > :40:41.where he had done a particularly good job. What a season it has been,

:40:42. > :40:46.retaining the schools cup and the medallion shield, winning the second

:40:47. > :40:52.15 and third 15 Trophy. It's been more less a clean for the boys from

:40:53. > :41:02.College Square East in the middle of Belfast. Bobby Stuart is saying a

:41:03. > :41:09.few well chosen words, and the medals will be presented by Dorothy

:41:10. > :41:20.Kingston, wife of Kevin Kingston, the chief executive of the sponsors.

:41:21. > :41:25.It has been a terrific first half, and I guess for various reasons the

:41:26. > :41:29.second half was not as good but you will not get a more dramatic finish.

:41:30. > :41:33.And your heart goes out to Campbell College. In the second half they

:41:34. > :41:38.could not have done much more. One thing that did not help them was the

:41:39. > :41:43.nature of the game, lack of tempo. Campbell threw everything at them.

:41:44. > :41:47.You have to take your hat off to Inst in terms of the last-ditch

:41:48. > :41:51.defence, trust in each other. That's something they put together through

:41:52. > :41:58.a lot of these guys over the years and the belief in which their

:41:59. > :42:05.coaching staff hold them. They didn't panic, they made some

:42:06. > :42:11.substitutions. I can count the number of tackles, they gave away an

:42:12. > :42:16.inordinate number of penalties, but you can count the number of tackles

:42:17. > :42:21.missed by Inst on one hand. Very much so, technically superb. Young

:42:22. > :42:25.Yasser Omar and his tackle two or three minutes before the end, Tom

:42:26. > :42:31.O'Toole was outstanding for Campbell College. Blatant disregard for

:42:32. > :42:38.himself and just threw himself in there, giving everything for his

:42:39. > :42:41.school and his team-mates. The rather sad looking, not

:42:42. > :42:48.surprisingly, boys from Campbell College, who thought this might be

:42:49. > :42:56.their year. Defeated last time out in 2011. A very close game.

:42:57. > :43:06.Certainly in terms of finals against RBAI, it is now 7-5 and two drawn.

:43:07. > :43:12.But they have a fair old number back for next year. They will get

:43:13. > :43:17.together and be ready for yet another schools cup campaign. So we

:43:18. > :43:24.will get the presentation of the medals for the winners first of all,

:43:25. > :43:26.and then that all-important Trophy which Inst first won away back in

:43:27. > :43:44.1888. In their fifth attempt. They have produced a remarkable

:43:45. > :43:47.season, winning not just the cup but the medallion shield for the second

:43:48. > :43:57.year in a row. Something no other school has ever done. I suppose one

:43:58. > :44:00.person who wishes she were here is the school principal Janet

:44:01. > :44:08.Williamson who is over in Melbourne on Churchill scholarship. Not a bad

:44:09. > :44:13.place to play rugby and certainly not a bad place to visit. So the

:44:14. > :44:19.Inst skipper who unfortunately missed it last year, the final, will

:44:20. > :44:24.collect the schools cup this year. He's just guiding some of his

:44:25. > :44:27.players through, the team and replacements coming through to get

:44:28. > :44:33.their winners medals. Something they will treasure for ever and ever. We

:44:34. > :44:38.hope to see some of them playing rugby at all sorts of levels.

:44:39. > :44:41.Important for them and just for their social life as well that they

:44:42. > :44:46.keep playing this game which means so much to so many of them, and has

:44:47. > :44:51.done to so many generations of boys who have worn black and yellow. A

:44:52. > :44:57.few words coming up from the skipper. Needless to say he will

:44:58. > :45:02.thank the very gallant opposition. Absolutely. Nice to see Campbell

:45:03. > :45:11.standing and watching and saluting the Inst team. Nothing more than you

:45:12. > :45:17.would expect from the Campbell boys. To their credit they are staying

:45:18. > :45:20.out. And here it is. Valerie Stuart Hine is over the oldest rugby trophy

:45:21. > :45:27.in Ireland and the second oldest in the world. And for the second year

:45:28. > :45:32.in a row it is the captain of RBAI lifting the Ulster schools cup.

:45:33. > :45:42.Memories and photographs to be kept forever and ever. There are plenty

:45:43. > :45:46.of old ones around, I have seen some that go back generations, and they

:45:47. > :45:49.will be very happy. They were made to sweat for it by a Campbell side

:45:50. > :45:55.that pushed all the way through the second half. Inst held on and right

:45:56. > :46:02.at the end the breakaway try from centre James Hume gave Inst the

:46:03. > :46:09.victory. So Inst, in their 56 final, have won the cup for the 13th time.

:46:10. > :46:23.Eight double 44 a day they will never forget. We

:46:24. > :46:28.have seen the whole spectrum of emotion out there this afternoon. I

:46:29. > :46:33.am absolutely delighted for Dan Soper. I remember doing extras at

:46:34. > :46:39.lunchtime with him when I was in fifth for many years ago. Shows you

:46:40. > :46:44.how long he has been coaching. What a fantastic job he is doing at Inst.

:46:45. > :46:49.Seem to be dominating all the age grades and charities. They were

:46:50. > :46:53.successful when he arrived but they are absolutely dominating and I am

:46:54. > :46:58.delighted for them. Came down to a breakaway try right at the death.

:46:59. > :47:00.Yes, the second half Campbell had been dominating with all the

:47:01. > :47:07.possession and territory. Here it is. James Hume showed good turn of

:47:08. > :47:13.pace, he had the winger in support and realised he might as well run it

:47:14. > :47:21.in. Three out of three kicks proved crucial. The advantage was massive.

:47:22. > :47:26.In these big games having that lead, quick penalties proved vital. Some

:47:27. > :47:34.stoppages in that second-half purely because of the pace. Yes, and I

:47:35. > :47:37.think credit has to go to Inst. Campbell dominated large chunks of

:47:38. > :47:42.the game. The line-out faulted a little. It didn't matter in the end

:47:43. > :47:48.because they got more than three ahead. That try came from wave and

:47:49. > :47:52.wave and wave of Inst defence. Campbell tried a long pass that was

:47:53. > :47:58.not really on, the ball found a bit of grass and went straight up in the

:47:59. > :48:02.air. It came from 20 or 30 minutes of solid defence before that. The

:48:03. > :48:08.great joy of schools rugby, commitment on both sides. Yes, they

:48:09. > :48:12.were throwing themselves in the tackles, especially down to 14 men,

:48:13. > :48:15.their defence was exceptional. They were throwing everything at it, and

:48:16. > :48:21.everything Campbell tried to throw at Inst, they repelled it. Very good

:48:22. > :48:26.and enthusiastic, and you saw how much it meant to them, they were all

:48:27. > :48:31.excited. Good to have Ulster rugby in safe hands? I think so. Plenty of

:48:32. > :48:34.talent on show. Don't think they're right in the finished article is at

:48:35. > :48:39.this stage but they don't have to be at that age, they just need to show

:48:40. > :49:04.potential. Plenty of rugby to come here on BBC sport.

:49:05. > :49:14.Thanks to my guests this afternoon. Inst add their name to the long list

:49:15. > :49:18.of schools cup winners. A day both sets of players will never forget

:49:19. > :49:20.and that is why we love it. From everybody here, goodbye.
