:00:19. > :00:29.happily married he had gay tendencies

:00:30. > :00:36.Hello. We have a world title decider on the Super League Show tonight.

:00:37. > :00:40.Wigan have travelled to the other side of the world to face the best

:00:41. > :00:43.that Australia has to offer. We'll have the highlights of their match

:00:44. > :00:51.against the Sydney Roosters and the best moments of round 2 of Super

:00:52. > :00:59.League. Here's what's coming up.

:01:00. > :01:04.The best of British face the ultimate test. It is the Warriors

:01:05. > :01:08.against the roosters in the world club challenge.

:01:09. > :01:13.Will it be two out of two for the Rhinos or a first win for the

:01:14. > :01:19.Wolves? Leeds take on Warrington. And into the blue, Tom Briscoe on

:01:20. > :01:27.swapping Hull for a fresh start at Headingley.

:01:28. > :01:38.Wigan's success in 2013 earned them a shot at the NRL champions Sydney

:01:39. > :01:43.Roosters. 20 years ago Wigan defied the odds to beat Brisbane in

:01:44. > :01:47.Brisbane. What a great challenge ahead. The

:01:48. > :01:51.chance of going to Sydney and winning that game and the players

:01:52. > :01:58.putting their name in the history books of rugby league and Wigan

:01:59. > :02:02.Warriors's history as well. It's a huge challenge. We need to be at our

:02:03. > :02:05.best and have a bit of look on our side. If we can go down and play

:02:06. > :02:10.anything like to our potential we are going to trouble them. They were

:02:11. > :02:16.physically a bigger them than we are. Their salary is a lot more, but

:02:17. > :02:19.no excuses from us. I did it many years ago and still remember how it

:02:20. > :02:23.felt that night. I want my players to have the same feelings that I

:02:24. > :02:27.had. That was a long time ago. We are going there and trying to make

:02:28. > :02:32.an upset and it would have to the an upset as well. If we can do it, it

:02:33. > :02:40.will be one of the best wins of our career.

:02:41. > :02:52.Williams is taken by the number nine. Coming over the top was Brett

:02:53. > :02:59.Ferres. `` by fer el. Wigan are holding on because the Roosters are

:03:00. > :03:08.coming at them. Jennings! He gets the third try of the world club

:03:09. > :03:13.challenge. Greased lightning has struck again.

:03:14. > :03:19.It's a great start for the Roosters, who were exposed in the first set by

:03:20. > :03:24.the Wigan attack. That fell apart with a forward pass. This is a

:03:25. > :03:31.lovely move from Jennings and Charnley to get the opening points.

:03:32. > :03:46.And here again is Hargreaves. He will play the ball 7 metres.

:03:47. > :03:54.Friend goes away. Moa has scored! Under the uprights of the northern

:03:55. > :03:58.end, their second try. It is a wonderful ball here from Jake

:03:59. > :04:08.Friend, a young man who is just getting better every time. He is

:04:09. > :04:12.tough. A select pass here. Friend very busy. Williams looking for ball

:04:13. > :04:30.and taking it to ground. They are ten away. Friend puts a dab on it

:04:31. > :04:41.and races for the bar! Jennings has scored a try. I have a try. The

:04:42. > :04:47.referee is of the opinion that Bowen hasn't got hands to it downward and

:04:48. > :04:55.Jennings claimed it. He doesn't feel that he touched it. It will be left

:04:56. > :05:01.for Jennings to get his second, and he does.

:05:02. > :05:12.There it is a try. They've got to be conclusive if they overrule.

:05:13. > :05:25.Maloney! Shaun Kenny`Dowall has got the ball down for a try only seconds

:05:26. > :05:30.after taking a high shot. It is on inquiry, but I thought he got

:05:31. > :05:34.downward pressure on it. No try. He said no try, but that was after

:05:35. > :05:45.consultation. It was very close at the time. It is a freakish ball

:05:46. > :05:50.which took everyone by surprise except his team`mates. Good call. He

:05:51. > :05:56.got that one right. Cover defence saving the day.

:05:57. > :06:05.They are within three matters of the line.

:06:06. > :06:18.Burgess! First try of the night for the Wigan Warriors. Four tries in

:06:19. > :06:24.that trial match in New Zealand. That was a great try. A select pass.

:06:25. > :06:31.We've seen this formation all night. That ball there is a beauty which

:06:32. > :06:41.Orbison attracted in. It allowed Burgess to cross untouched wide out.

:06:42. > :06:51.Lock lan, there it goes. Who wants it? Farrell scoops it, shish pushes

:06:52. > :07:02.it. Jennings. Here comes a historic moment. Michael Jennings. Here they

:07:03. > :07:11.go again. They paid the ultimate penalty. It started off a small

:07:12. > :07:23.mistake and grew in stature. Jennings loves that kind of stuff.

:07:24. > :07:32.Smith down towards Minichiello and it bounces into try! It's a try for

:07:33. > :07:40.Charnley. The referee points to the spot. A lack of communication there.

:07:41. > :07:44.Here on the replay Daniel and Minichiello ended up looking at each

:07:45. > :08:06.other. Minichiello is of the bleach that Daniel is going to catch this.

:08:07. > :08:12.He'll score again, Charnley. Charnley gets his second try of the

:08:13. > :08:27.night. They have had an injection of life.

:08:28. > :08:40.In the half time break, it would seem. Friend again. Maloney. He goes

:08:41. > :08:48.to the line but he's short. Just centimetres away. Friend gives it to

:08:49. > :08:56.Hargreaves and he scores adjacent to the post. What a pass from Friend.

:08:57. > :09:06.It is like an action replay. Moa with the first try of the night. And

:09:07. > :09:13.Hargreaves not to be denied there. Jake Friend dances back a couple of

:09:14. > :09:20.paces. Williams out the back. Shaun Kenny`Dowall puts it over the line!

:09:21. > :09:31.Kenny`Dowall scores again for the Roosters. Lovely work from Sunny.

:09:32. > :09:35.The outside defender didn't want to come in to him but was left with no

:09:36. > :09:50.choice. Once he was committed an overlap was created. Jamie was so

:09:51. > :09:56.disappointed afterwards wasn't he? I think they will be disappointed.

:09:57. > :10:01.They were 18`0 down. They looked down a young side that made some

:10:02. > :10:04.nervous mistakes through lack of concentration but once they were

:10:05. > :10:09.back in the game they looked like a good side. Do you think it is a

:10:10. > :10:13.score line that reflects the difference in the kiss? If you look

:10:14. > :10:18.at the Wigan side that wasn't the side that won the competition last

:10:19. > :10:23.year. It was tough ask to go down there and play the champions of the

:10:24. > :10:27.NRL in ne'er own back yard. They made a few basic errors but they

:10:28. > :10:33.showed a lot of resolve in that second half. I still think the

:10:34. > :10:38.English teams can compete but they probably would be disappointed with

:10:39. > :10:42.the score line. Michael Jennings the first guy to get a hat`trick but he

:10:43. > :10:47.benefitted from errors didn't he? He. It it was story of the day for

:10:48. > :10:53.Wigan. Jens a good example of the coach cog. He wasn't wanted at

:10:54. > :10:58.Penrith and here he is scoring a hat`trick. That was the order of the

:10:59. > :11:16.day for Wigan. A lack of concentration and keyer overs caused

:11:17. > :11:21.them tries. And Bowen struggled? He has to have time to beg in that we

:11:22. > :11:33.can and get used to have a place. It is a young Wigan side. He performed

:11:34. > :11:39.admirably against the best team in the world. He's great talent for the

:11:40. > :11:44.future. It is a key position, full`back, and you are not going to

:11:45. > :11:49.go in and be as good as you have been in the past. It will take a

:11:50. > :12:04.number of weeks. You know a lot about Sydney. What do know about

:12:05. > :12:15.Trent? He has been great. He has got a resolve to win the title, and it

:12:16. > :12:23.was a fantastic achievement. Wigan represented England. I really

:12:24. > :12:33.enjoyed the game. A few of my team mates had a reunion. There were a

:12:34. > :12:39.few drunken messages. What about the format of the competition. There was

:12:40. > :12:45.talk of expanding it. Yes. That would be good to seeing. It is good

:12:46. > :12:54.for someone important in Australia to say they want to expand it. There

:12:55. > :13:02.have the champions league in football. Why not have something

:13:03. > :13:04.similar? Fingers crossed. We will find out however one has been

:13:05. > :13:11.getting on while they have been away.

:13:12. > :13:20.Tony Smith is back on familiar ground. Will his Warrington team

:13:21. > :13:27.rise to the challenge athletes? Who will get the points at Bellevue? We

:13:28. > :13:37.will find out who is setting the faith after round two. `` setting

:13:38. > :13:41.the pace after round two. It is two weeks since Huddersfield

:13:42. > :13:44.kicked the season off with an emphatic win at Wigan. The Giants

:13:45. > :13:49.had a weekend off, but were on the field on Sunday. Hull Kingston

:13:50. > :14:06.Rovers word there. It would be disappointing for them.

:14:07. > :14:15.There were playing really fluent rugby. They are a great tide. They

:14:16. > :14:24.have got a good squad and a good coach. They have been extremely

:14:25. > :14:34.consistent over the last 18 months or so. The coach will be extremely

:14:35. > :14:42.disappointed. It was probably a bad day at the office for Paul

:14:43. > :14:46.Anderson. They were down to 11 and still managed the try. That is a

:14:47. > :14:53.confident team. Yes. There is talent throughout the team. Very tough to

:14:54. > :15:03.beat at home. Even though they were down to 11, they manage to

:15:04. > :15:08.whitewash. I am sure Paul Anderson felt the same. What you think was

:15:09. > :15:17.said in the dressing room at half`time? Well, whatever was, it

:15:18. > :15:25.worked. There were probably some small things they can work on. A big

:15:26. > :15:45.thing is attitude. The huge amount of self belief to come back 80 ``

:15:46. > :16:00.comeback against a team like this field is... They had to do this. It

:16:01. > :16:08.was a cruel kick. A lot was riding on that. What can a win like that do

:16:09. > :16:11.for a side's confidence? It is massive. They looked dead and buried

:16:12. > :16:17.at half`time but then they came back. It is all about momentum.

:16:18. > :16:38.They were classed that `` it will do them the world of good. Saint Helens

:16:39. > :16:42.and Hull had the opportunity to remember Steve Prescott. This was

:16:43. > :16:48.the first meeting between them since he passed away. His life was

:16:49. > :16:55.remembered with the bridge being re`named in his honour. The teams

:16:56. > :16:57.played their own `` pay their own pre`match tribute. He would've

:16:58. > :17:08.enjoyed this, wouldn't? Yes. It would have really enjoyed it. I

:17:09. > :17:12.think it is fantastic what they have done to on a fantastic player and a

:17:13. > :17:19.great guy. He was an inspiration. What do you make of Hull? I think

:17:20. > :17:32.they are finding their feet. There have got a new coach. I think they

:17:33. > :17:38.will be difficult to beat at home. They are a resilient, tough side.

:17:39. > :17:43.How different is it when you get a first`time coach as well? He is

:17:44. > :17:48.inexperienced. He is, but he has been an assistant for a number of

:17:49. > :17:54.years. He is local as well, I think that helps. He has the respect of

:17:55. > :18:02.the players. When players want to play for their coach, that means a

:18:03. > :18:10.great deal. They are a squad with a lot of talent. I think Saints got a

:18:11. > :18:19.bit of a tongue lashing at half`time. We have seen that again,

:18:20. > :18:30.the team playing better after half`time. Centre play nicely. They

:18:31. > :18:35.will be a threat this year. Could you manage something like this,

:18:36. > :18:45.Adrian, in the corner? Not at the moment. How instrumental is Luke

:18:46. > :18:50.Walsh to what they achieved? I thought it was fantastic in the

:18:51. > :19:00.Warrington game. He really awkward that she really orchestrated things.

:19:01. > :19:06.Give him this was a wake`up call for them not to get carried away after

:19:07. > :19:13.that first win? Yes. I think the win against Warrington was exceptional.

:19:14. > :19:23.Hull have another tough game coming up. There have indeed. One of the

:19:24. > :19:31.stars was Tom Briscoe. He scored a hat`trick. He told is what life was

:19:32. > :19:36.like in his news surroundings. Tom Briscoe one up in the colours of

:19:37. > :19:41.Hull FC. But the colours have become blue and Amber after a switch to

:19:42. > :19:52.Leeds. It was something I wanted. I had grown a bit stale in Hull. I

:19:53. > :20:04.enjoying every part of it. His debut in round one was close to perfect.

:20:05. > :20:12.Kallum Watkins finds Tom Briscoe for his second try. Tom Briscoe is going

:20:13. > :20:18.to score a hat`trick of tries. Really pleased we have got him. He

:20:19. > :20:36.has done some incredible things in his short career. He has helped his

:20:37. > :20:48.team. He is a most difficult person to put down. It is like trying to

:20:49. > :20:53.tackle tree Tom `` tree trunks. You step up a gear when you come to a

:20:54. > :20:56.club like Leeds. It is different expectations and demands. That is

:20:57. > :21:03.what he is after. He has come to better himself. It is a bit of a

:21:04. > :21:14.feather in the cap for the club and for the game itself. When the Leeds

:21:15. > :21:19.offered came in, it was one I could not really refuse. It is a massive

:21:20. > :21:27.club within the game. Getting the chance to play at Headingley is one

:21:28. > :21:50.I could not really pass up. I wanted to improve my game. He will enhance

:21:51. > :21:57.what he has already got. The best people get the share. Briscoe is

:21:58. > :22:03.closing in on a century of tries. He's not the only one keeping tally

:22:04. > :22:10.at Headingley. I have been told that Ryan Hall keeps count of everyone's

:22:11. > :22:17.tries. We will see what happens comes the end of the season.

:22:18. > :22:20.Hopefully, I will be up there for he is leading so far. He was back on

:22:21. > :23:01.the field on Friday night. Smooth running slowly down the start

:23:02. > :23:05.of this reason, after victory against Hull Kingston Rovers last

:23:06. > :23:09.week in their first match. Warrington are looking to turn

:23:10. > :23:20.things around, after defeat against St Helens. A debut for Tom Briscoe.

:23:21. > :23:41.A little shuffle for Warrington. Warrington and trying to keep it

:23:42. > :23:49.lively and need early stages. Carousel crying's kick. Joel

:23:50. > :24:01.Monaghan has taken it. `` Gareth O'Brien's kick. Ryan Hall could not

:24:02. > :24:11.get off here. Plenty of new faces here this evening for fans to goggle

:24:12. > :24:21.at. What counts, Briscoe. Zak Hardaker. Wonderful play. The new

:24:22. > :24:22.boy is settling in well. They hat`trick at Hull Kingston Rovers

:24:23. > :24:51.last week. Here is Tom Briscoe. Plenty of tackles at the back here.

:24:52. > :24:53.He could not find his centre for winger. Had he found either, would

:24:54. > :25:18.have been a try. Just try to put Leeds on the back

:25:19. > :25:28.foot if they can close that muscular menace. Briscoe comes in on the

:25:29. > :25:37.angler find a gap. Where he goes. He has pushed off the final man.

:25:38. > :25:46.Briscoe's Leeds career is flying. First try in Headingley, first game

:25:47. > :26:02.at Headingley. He came from wide right will stop lovely.

:26:03. > :26:15.Michael Monaghan. Gaps there. Closes up at the very last minute. Ward was

:26:16. > :26:27.the man underneath that. Miler, another crushing effort. Big

:26:28. > :26:34.resistance from Leeds. Zak Hardaker with a terrific tackle on the line.

:26:35. > :26:41.And Ryan Hall completes the Leeds rescue act. They have escaped. A lot

:26:42. > :26:44.of it is down to this big effort from Hardaker. And the presence of

:26:45. > :27:05.mind from Hall to get back. Another mighty effort from the Leeds

:27:06. > :27:12.prop forward tonight, Jamie Peacock. A step and a shimmy but not enough

:27:13. > :27:18.to beat Miler. Hardaker has seen a gap, and Zak Hardaker! A try that

:27:19. > :27:27.puts clear daylight between Leeds and warring wafrmct very nearly an

:27:28. > :27:33.hour played. `` Warrington, very nearly an hour played. It is a big

:27:34. > :27:36.effort from Peacock tonight. He's closing in on 60 tackles for the

:27:37. > :28:00.game. Westwood still going. He thinks he's

:28:01. > :28:09.got the try. The referee is offering it upstairs for the video refs of

:28:10. > :28:22.the a go. What an effort from Westwood! Watering watering are

:28:23. > :28:28.still Warrington are still in the game. A chance for Briscoe, the man

:28:29. > :28:33.in the moment in blue and amber to sweep it up and take it dead. That

:28:34. > :28:36.should just about make sure that Leeds win this night. A night to

:28:37. > :28:46.remember for Tom Briscoe. That close`up we saw of you Jamie

:28:47. > :28:54.probably shows how tough a night it was? Yes, we knew Warrington would

:28:55. > :28:59.play well. We were holding on the last five or ten minutes. Pleased

:29:00. > :29:03.the way the team went? There's things we need to work on. It is

:29:04. > :29:08.only round two, but to beat Warrington is always a good win.

:29:09. > :29:15.What do you make of Warrington? A massive improvement for them but

:29:16. > :29:20.still lost? A big improvement. The performance, disappointed with the

:29:21. > :29:28.loss. But any team who's going to lose a player as influential as Lee

:29:29. > :29:32.will take a while to come good. A few players are missing through

:29:33. > :29:36.injury. Some good signs. There's still a number of weeks to go but

:29:37. > :29:41.I'm sure we'll see Warrington to bounce back. It was go of Tom

:29:42. > :29:47.Briscoe to score when we profiled him. What has he brought to the

:29:48. > :29:52.side? He talk about his strength, but he's got more than that. You

:29:53. > :29:58.want your wingers to be good at bringing the ball back to your own

:29:59. > :30:04.half. He took some scoring. To score in that way is fantastic. A great

:30:05. > :30:07.acquisition for us. You talk about his strength. Brian McDermott said

:30:08. > :30:12.his strength is his strength. That's true. When I played against him it

:30:13. > :30:23.takes four or Fife to bring him council. `` it takes four or five to

:30:24. > :30:28.bring him down. He wasn't Man of the Match. Zak Hardaker was. He really

:30:29. > :30:34.seems to be maturing. Yes, he does. Again, he's fantastic in that Leeds

:30:35. > :30:39.battle line. A classy player. Very quick, evasive but his defence is

:30:40. > :30:47.improving as well. Not only does he score tries, he saves them as well.

:30:48. > :30:54.He puts a tackle on later on and he comes up with a great tackle. This

:30:55. > :30:59.try by Tom Briscoe, not many people in the world can score this try. The

:31:00. > :31:04.back line at Leeds is looking particularly hot at the moment. And

:31:05. > :31:10.your favourite moment is this, the try saver? This is unbelievable. You

:31:11. > :31:15.will watch 20 or 30 games before you see a try like this. It got us back

:31:16. > :31:21.into the game really. They were on top. Zak Hardaker has come back from

:31:22. > :31:27.trouble. He knuckled down, got on with things and he's reaping the

:31:28. > :31:36.rewards. He is probably on parole a bit but the signs are good for him

:31:37. > :31:42.at the moment. What do you think of the possible successor? He played

:31:43. > :31:46.well, Gareth. I think now with more on his shoulders he'll take on more

:31:47. > :31:51.of a leadership role. I think that will benefit him. He went on loan to

:31:52. > :31:57.St Helens and performed great there. I think he's got all the tant. It

:31:58. > :32:00.will probably take him a number of weeks to grow into it but he's got

:32:01. > :32:04.the potential to do that. It was a historic week for rugby league in

:32:05. > :32:10.London. The Broncos had their first match tep Hive, their new home in

:32:11. > :32:16.barn bet. Salford red Dev dills were in town. It was a comfortable win

:32:17. > :32:23.for your new side wasn't it? It was. It was a game we were confident of

:32:24. > :32:31.winning. There was a couple of changes. A couple of people with

:32:32. > :32:36.bumps and bruises. The boys, they scored some great tries. Harrison

:32:37. > :32:43.scored three tries in two games. He's been a great signing. London do

:32:44. > :32:47.need to improve. The last week and this week, they have had a lot of

:32:48. > :32:51.points put on them, so they need to improve their defence. It was job

:32:52. > :32:53.well done for the Salford boys. They got the two points and got out of

:32:54. > :33:10.there. I think before the season started he

:33:11. > :33:15.knew he would be behind Tim Smith, but with Rangi's injuries, he's got

:33:16. > :33:23.an opportunity. He scored a couple of good tries. He looks very good.

:33:24. > :33:27.We have the other side. Gareth is a great player but he spends a lot of

:33:28. > :33:32.time off the pitch doesn't he? He's not renowned for his patience or

:33:33. > :33:37.tolerance. It is something we were working on, his temperament. He's

:33:38. > :33:42.had a number of sin binnings but she a talented player. I think he's one

:33:43. > :33:47.of them players who plays on the line. Sometimes it boils over. But

:33:48. > :33:53.that's part of his asset. The fear factor. Some blokes are scared to

:33:54. > :33:57.tackle him because he runs that hard and he has that intimidation about

:33:58. > :34:01.him. We know London are up against it. They are still recruiting

:34:02. > :34:08.players. At what point do you say they node to stand up and get

:34:09. > :34:15.results? I think they are bringing more better quality Australian

:34:16. > :34:19.settle in. The key is not to get too disheartened if they don't win for a

:34:20. > :34:24.few weeks. Throughout the year they'll improve and get some wins

:34:25. > :34:30.soon. What do the guys make of the Hive. Did they enjoy the atmosphere?

:34:31. > :34:36.They. It is not a huge ground, which is great. London don't get huge

:34:37. > :34:43.crowds anyway, but I think six or 7,000, that's the capacity. `` 6,000

:34:44. > :34:47.or 7,000 is the capacity. When it is full it will be a nice ground for

:34:48. > :34:53.them. The boys said the facilities are great. They enjoyed going down

:34:54. > :34:56.there. And a different challenge against Saints? They started the

:34:57. > :35:00.season fantastically well. It is a different challenge on Thursday but

:35:01. > :35:04.the boys are really excited for that challenge. They can't wait. It will

:35:05. > :35:10.be good to get another big crowd there. It will. It was a great crowd

:35:11. > :35:16.at Wakefield. If 7,000 at the new ground. Hopefully we'll do better

:35:17. > :35:20.and get more. What are you making of the new look Salford? I think the

:35:21. > :35:25.first two games they got four points. Real test is this Thursday

:35:26. > :35:30.against St Helens. Hopefully it will be a great game. I'm looking forward

:35:31. > :35:37.to watching it. You've got a malicious grin. Two teams met at

:35:38. > :35:41.Bellevue on Thursday night ` Wakefield against Bradford. There

:35:42. > :35:48.were some big moments for both teams.

:35:49. > :35:55.Bradford and Wakefield were tipped for relegation this season. It was

:35:56. > :36:00.far from a classic. There were 17 personal Tess and 30 errors recorded

:36:01. > :36:16.during the game as both teams looked for a victory.

:36:17. > :36:37.He's got the pass away. He scores in the corner. A really high`quality

:36:38. > :36:40.try. Fox with a super finish as well. They get themselves on the

:36:41. > :36:44.score sheet. The Bulls were never behind in the

:36:45. > :37:04.game. Luke George was sent over for a try

:37:05. > :37:16.on his debut. Wakefield are looming large on the line. Carney looks like

:37:17. > :37:28.he's been hit by a tractor never mind an 18 stone prop. A late try

:37:29. > :37:35.for Adam O'Brien and Luke Gale meant the Bulls are celebrating with a win

:37:36. > :37:40.this season. We defended the line well. There were a couple of mishaps

:37:41. > :37:44.but apart from that I'm pleased. They work hard for each other. We

:37:45. > :37:52.want to win every week. We know we are light on preparation in terms of

:37:53. > :37:57.this game and where we are but they are the cards we've been dealt.

:37:58. > :38:02.We'll learn on the job and it will be better if we hold on to the ball

:38:03. > :38:09.a bit more. We never gave ourselves a chance, because we made too many

:38:10. > :38:13.fundamental errors. Both coaches talked about the difficult turn

:38:14. > :38:18.around upon the a Thursday. It wasn't a classic by any means. It's

:38:19. > :38:24.the nature of the sport. You have got to roll your sleeves up and get

:38:25. > :38:31.on with it. The Easter weekend, the same for everyone. You've got to do

:38:32. > :38:36.your best. Luke Gale was key to the good things Bradford did. I think

:38:37. > :38:41.he's an exceptional half`back who can only grow. I think he is going

:38:42. > :38:45.to be key for Bradford. I think Bradford will be pleased with that.

:38:46. > :38:50.I think Wakefield will be disappointed. If if they are looking

:38:51. > :38:54.to stay up they need to win those games at home. And your old mate, a

:38:55. > :39:00.wonderful barge straight through wasn't it? Ali is a gentle giant off

:39:01. > :39:08.the pitch, but on the pitch he wants to win. When we see him knock Brett

:39:09. > :39:16.off here, Kearney must have sin bin ?. He's a great player, Ali. A

:39:17. > :39:21.lovely guy. How many due manage when you've got a small squad, because

:39:22. > :39:27.injuries are going to be key. They are, but you are talking about the

:39:28. > :39:32.seconds game of the season, so injuries shouldn't be part of it at

:39:33. > :39:38.this stage. Both coaches did complain but it's a case of dealing

:39:39. > :39:43.with it really. It was only one day less than a Sunday to a Friday, so

:39:44. > :39:48.it was a case of getting on with it. These smaller squads, it is a case

:39:49. > :39:52.of having the luck of the draw and trying not to get injured. Let's

:39:53. > :39:56.finish the programme at the top of the table, because that's where

:39:57. > :40:02.Castleford Tigers sit right now. It is two wins out of two and this was

:40:03. > :40:10.a comfortable one against Catalan wasn't it. Castleford are playing

:40:11. > :40:16.really well. Last year Daryl Powell got them playing well. I think

:40:17. > :40:23.they'll finish well into the eight. Carney is nicknamed the Beast. He is

:40:24. > :40:29.a unique body shape. He's definitely talented and he throws his heart

:40:30. > :40:35.into everything he does. It is great to see another success story. That

:40:36. > :40:42.was the only try that Catalans scored. They were very scratchy

:40:43. > :40:48.against Hull. This is a fixture that was before the ball was kicked...

:40:49. > :40:55.Another dust`up! A weekend of dust`ups. That's right. This was a

:40:56. > :41:00.fixture they were looking to win but Castleford had other ideas. The wing

:41:01. > :41:05.ser a crowd favourite. I love watching him play. I think

:41:06. > :41:13.Castleford are going to upset the apple cart this year and do very

:41:14. > :41:19.well. Castleford, they seem to have strengthened in depth and have more

:41:20. > :41:23.structure. Daryl Powell spoke last year that the defence was a problem.

:41:24. > :41:28.In the last two rounds they've only conceded six points. He's had four

:41:29. > :41:33.months to work on the systems and it is working for them. A great success

:41:34. > :41:40.story so far. We are only two rounds in but we spoke about Daryl Clarke

:41:41. > :41:47.last year. A talented young man. He's a brilliant player. He's one of

:41:48. > :41:53.the most athletic players. A Blair player. That's like a winger's try.

:41:54. > :41:58.And you've got Catalan next week? Is we have. We'll be looking to put

:41:59. > :42:02.that right. Catalan, what will they be saying? Back to the drawing board

:42:03. > :42:07.I think. They've not started great. Confidence will be a bit lower. It

:42:08. > :42:15.is a totally different kettle of finish going to Catalans. Two away

:42:16. > :42:19.games, two losses, so something's not going right for them. I'm sure

:42:20. > :42:25.with the talent in the squad they'll bounce back. I think the next game

:42:26. > :42:29.is a home one against the Leeds Rhinos, so they'll be hoping to

:42:30. > :42:36.bounce back. Will you be in for some atmosphere I imagine. I love playing

:42:37. > :42:43.there. It is one of the best place play. French really get behind their

:42:44. > :42:46.team. For Castleford tigers fans every, where let's check on the

:42:47. > :43:22.Super League table. The Super League Show return at the

:43:23. > :43:26.same time next week. It will be repeated on BBC Two in the early

:43:27. > :43:34.hours of Wednesday and on iPlayer all week.

:43:35. > :43:40.As somebody who is older than the pair of you I shouldn't bring up

:43:41. > :43:47.your age. 60 tackles you put into that game. How do you recover? Next

:43:48. > :43:51.weeks it is just part of the job. I love doing it and I accept feeling

:43:52. > :43:55.painful for two or three days afterwards is part of the job. I

:43:56. > :44:00.like being involved. Have you felt the benefit of having a proper

:44:01. > :44:03.pre`season? I have. Throughout my career I've never had a full

:44:04. > :44:07.pre`season with the internationals. We saw how well Jamie played last

:44:08. > :44:12.year without playing internationals, so hopeful live it will have the

:44:13. > :44:17.same effect on myself. I feel great. It is beneficial. Fingers crossed.

:44:18. > :44:21.You are not going to keep going for another year so you will be the

:44:22. > :44:26.oldest player? That's it for this week. Thanks to Jamie and Adrian for

:44:27. > :44:29.their contributions. We'll be back next week with the highlights from

:44:30. > :44:32.Super League round 3. Bye`bye.
