:00:37. > :00:43.Hello. It is a big week in Europe, but big decisions have already been

:00:44. > :00:48.made in Super League. We are getting close to finding out who is in and

:00:49. > :00:55.who is out. Here is what is coming up. For instance and Catalans are

:00:56. > :01:07.centre stage as the top four look to keep on climbing. -- Warrington. The

:01:08. > :01:21.England coach is on tour. And we meet the Devils for a few on Super

:01:22. > :01:30.League life and more. Mr dawn and Mr Robinson have all the angles covered

:01:31. > :01:34.on Round 19. They were tributes to Rome and Costello this week. He died

:01:35. > :01:48.on Tuesday after an injury sustained in a match is stained at Salford. --

:01:49. > :01:59.Ronan Costello. He was just 17 years old. How well did you know him? I

:02:00. > :02:08.didn't know him extremely well, but I have helped coach the side he was

:02:09. > :02:12.part of. He was a lovely lad. He had bags of potential as a rugby player.

:02:13. > :02:25.He always seemed to work harder than anyone else. It shows what type of

:02:26. > :02:29.lad he is by the reaction of his under 19s team-mates. They are all

:02:30. > :02:34.heartbroken. A devastating week for the club and his family. He will be

:02:35. > :02:43.sorely missed. Huddersfield's game on Friday was their first since the

:02:44. > :02:47.sacking of Paul Anderson. Andy Kelly was in charge for the trip to

:02:48. > :02:55.Salford and the commentator is Tim Steer.

:02:56. > :03:11.Michael Dobson. Wrapped up around the ankles. Craig Kopczak scores

:03:12. > :03:21.against his former club. Lovely cutout pass and Jake Connor will go

:03:22. > :03:32.in at the corner. Danny Brough, so injury and shall -- influential for

:03:33. > :03:41.the side. Ukuma Ta'ai has muscled his way over. Quick feet from the

:03:42. > :03:45.big man. On the inside for Jamie Ellis. The Giants have got numbers

:03:46. > :03:54.with Danny Brough. Leroy Cudjoe is going to score. What a fantastic

:03:55. > :04:03.drive from the Huddersfield Giants. Salford looking to make inroads back

:04:04. > :04:10.into the match. A nice move. A narrow lead for Huddersfield at the

:04:11. > :04:20.start of the second half. Josh Jones has a bit of work to do, but he has

:04:21. > :04:27.got it down. Danny Brough, Crabtree. Crabtree back to the line. How has

:04:28. > :04:37.he got that down one-handed? Six points in this one. Danny Brough,

:04:38. > :04:43.Jamie Ellis. Jamie Ellis will be Huddersfield Giants. Found the hands

:04:44. > :05:01.of Kyle Wood. Long ball for toward all. He was strolling in. -- for

:05:02. > :05:05.Ward all. Not very long. Tipped down. The Salford winger will spend

:05:06. > :05:18.ten minutes in the bin. He is not happy about it. But off he goes.

:05:19. > :05:25.Back into the hands of Danny Brough. Another point on the board. Salford

:05:26. > :05:30.have some work to do if they are going to find a way back into this

:05:31. > :05:35.match. Speculative pass for Josh Jones. He has not knocked it on and

:05:36. > :05:46.he has stretched out to score. A late resurgence from the Salford Red

:05:47. > :05:50.Devils. It will not be enough, Huddersfield will hold on for the

:05:51. > :05:55.win. I am hoping that to my's away win will get rid of some of the

:05:56. > :05:59.anxiety and apprehension we saw in the first 40 minutes. There are

:06:00. > :06:04.things we can still do better, but without the anxiety we will do

:06:05. > :06:08.better. The players know their jobs, but they have failed to do them

:06:09. > :06:15.consistently for quite awhile. We showed to my what a good side they

:06:16. > :06:19.are. We need be better as a team. They have trained really well in the

:06:20. > :06:26.week. Training yesterday was unreal. We were really good in general. When

:06:27. > :06:30.we have trained well, we have performed well, but today we have

:06:31. > :06:34.not turned up. That is the be all and end all of it. We have not

:06:35. > :06:41.turned up as a club we need to be eager

:06:42. > :06:53.a difficult week for everyone. What a relief to go out on the pitch? The

:06:54. > :07:05.first team had days. We any have one session before the game. We must be

:07:06. > :07:09.got the win for Ronan Costello. The under 19s came and celebrated with

:07:10. > :07:15.us. A fitting week after such a low period for the club. Was Paul

:07:16. > :07:23.Anderson's sacking inevitable? Work you shot? It is cut-throat. If you

:07:24. > :07:29.don't win, if you don't get points, especially with the new format, it

:07:30. > :07:35.is pressure. You don't want to be in the middle eight. There is more

:07:36. > :07:41.pressure on coaches and if you are not getting the results, it is the

:07:42. > :07:46.nature of the beast. Under him until this season, he won the shield in

:07:47. > :07:51.2013, you have been top four, what coach do you need to take the club

:07:52. > :07:55.to the next step? I don't know. It is an enigma. Finding the right

:07:56. > :08:05.person to come in after the previous one. Since Nathan Brown took over,

:08:06. > :08:13.we have been a top four club and we have been challenging. The banks of

:08:14. > :08:17.intentional. We have good players, we just need someone to come in and

:08:18. > :08:22.take us to the next level. Who it may be, I don't know. You are asking

:08:23. > :08:28.the wrong person. I won't ask you to put any names in the frame. From the

:08:29. > :08:31.opposition's point a few, how difficult is it to play against a

:08:32. > :08:37.team that has just changed coaches? If you are a team doing well and

:08:38. > :08:42.come up against a team not doing well, you think you have a chance,

:08:43. > :08:52.but if they sack the coach, they come up with a bit of freedom.

:08:53. > :08:55.Sometimes there is guilt, like they are responsible for the coach's

:08:56. > :09:03.departure, so they have something to prove. They small crowd there. It is

:09:04. > :09:09.not great when you see less than 2008 Super League game. It is

:09:10. > :09:15.disappointing. At the old ground, we did have great crowds, but they were

:09:16. > :09:21.vocal. There is not that same aura about the place in terms of how loud

:09:22. > :09:27.the crowd is. It is disappointing, but Salford will be doing their

:09:28. > :09:31.best. If they get better points, but the deduction has not helped them,

:09:32. > :09:36.so they need to improve their crowds and the players will probably play

:09:37. > :09:45.better on the back of it. No one has collected more points away from home

:09:46. > :09:55.than Catalans. We were in Warrington on Friday. Dave Woods was watching.

:09:56. > :10:02.A good position they find themselves in with a chance to hammer this

:10:03. > :10:15.Warrington line. That looked high. It is. Ashton Sims. A clear swinging

:10:16. > :10:22.arm. Penalty for Catalans. Doug Richards gives this click it due

:10:23. > :10:31.attention. Over it glows and Catalans have an early lead. A

:10:32. > :10:38.little double himself here. He is a wily figure. Picks up and carries on

:10:39. > :10:45.the running. Might be looking for a penalty, he doesn't get it, but he

:10:46. > :10:59.doesn't need it. Atkins just about keeps his feet to claim the first

:11:00. > :11:14.try of the night. Wonder. Four. -- wonderful stuff. Danny Houghton

:11:15. > :11:22.launching an attack. Short pass and a finish by Bousquet. Came in on the

:11:23. > :11:31.angle and Warrington did not lay a hand on him. Just to his left for

:11:32. > :11:35.Clarke, but he has to go to the right-hand side. A niggling effort

:11:36. > :11:45.from Gidleigh. Clark again. Catalans defending on their own line. Ake

:11:46. > :11:57.comes -- back it comes. Lots of space. It swings back Warrington's

:11:58. > :12:01.way. Interesting spectator here to night. Wayne Bennett, the new

:12:02. > :12:10.England coach. He is doing the rounds this weekend. Catalans with

:12:11. > :12:17.Carney. Play on says the referee. A delicate chip towards the corner and

:12:18. > :12:27.Yaha will claim it. The referee is not sure here. Just checking for a

:12:28. > :12:30.crossing. They have got no try. No try, he says. Looking for the

:12:31. > :12:37.destruction. There is the obstruction. Goes to the gap. Maybe

:12:38. > :12:44.a misjudgement. Nothing wrong with that. It should be a Catalans tried,

:12:45. > :12:53.and it is. They are back in the lead with Yaha the try scorer. They have

:12:54. > :12:59.got a bit of wit on that left hand side, but Yaha is going to be

:13:00. > :13:07.locked. Dragged out of play, but he keeps his place. Richards back

:13:08. > :13:21.towards the middle. It was taken in hard. Chris Hill has been pinged for

:13:22. > :13:27.a hard tackle. So Pat Richards with a chance to give his side a 6-point

:13:28. > :13:34.lead at half-time looms and Castle for -- Castleford edged a little

:13:35. > :13:42.closer towards the finishing line. Quickly in there from dummy half.

:13:43. > :13:51.Hill, straightening things up. Dwyer has a look around. Still going.

:13:52. > :13:57.Dwyer preaches and scores. Great start to the second half for

:13:58. > :14:08.Warrington. And it is Dwyer, Brad Dwyer who is a real bright spark.

:14:09. > :14:13.Ratchford. Westwood spinning it away and keeping things alive here.

:14:14. > :14:18.Mateos dodging and weaving and looks for the off-load. It is a little

:14:19. > :14:27.loose and Catalans have it back. Six tries from here. Offside. You could

:14:28. > :14:34.hear the referee count them. One, two, three, offside. The penalty

:14:35. > :14:38.goes Catalans way and in a tight game it is a chance for Pat Richards

:14:39. > :14:44.to edged his side to points into the lead again. He's hit could prove

:14:45. > :14:48.vital at the end of the night. Richards right in front of what

:14:49. > :14:57.seems a large target, and over it goes and Catalans lead 18-16.

:14:58. > :15:09.Evans. There is one last tackle to come. Ratchford back to Gidley.

:15:10. > :15:14.Gidley puts it at high, who is challenging? It is picked up by

:15:15. > :15:19.carne, and he is away! Sandow is after him, I think he will be chased

:15:20. > :15:24.down, but he looks inside and find support. And Jodie Broughton will be

:15:25. > :15:28.the last man in the link, had already goes. It is a length of the

:15:29. > :15:38.field try. If it is given. The referee says no

:15:39. > :15:45.try. And they are looking at the contact on Gidley from the kick.

:15:46. > :15:53.Feet off the ground, and a high tackle on Gidley. That has to be a

:15:54. > :16:02.penalty. No try, Jodie Broughton's celebrations are cut short. And it

:16:03. > :16:06.could be suffering at the other end, because here comes Gidley with a

:16:07. > :16:13.penalty kick from a high shot from Pelissier, and that means it is all

:16:14. > :16:21.square again at 18 apiece. They want to get on with it. Clarke will drop

:16:22. > :16:31.from dummy half. Clark! The ball disappeared from his grasp. He is

:16:32. > :16:35.celebrating a try. He says no try. Cramming is what they are looking

:16:36. > :16:42.at. Does it hit the ground? No, it doesn't. And it is ripped away by

:16:43. > :16:51.Catalan defenders. How does the video referee judged this? No try.

:16:52. > :17:00.But it is a penalty. It penalty for the ball steel. What a moment this

:17:01. > :17:07.is! Gidley with a chance to win the game potentially from here. It is a

:17:08. > :17:12.tough one from the touchline, but he has curled it in. And Warrington,

:17:13. > :17:22.for the first time in a long time, have the lead in this game, and it

:17:23. > :17:26.might just be decisive. Let's go to the big turning point I suppose it

:17:27. > :17:30.was. Catalan looked a bit scored arguably the try of the game, but it

:17:31. > :17:33.gets pulled back quite rightly for Pelissier. If you are the couch, do

:17:34. > :17:39.you take him aside and have a good talking to? Definitely. Because he

:17:40. > :17:43.has cost them with his actions. The risk against reward, adding that

:17:44. > :17:47.much pressure on and taking yourself out of the game, there is no

:17:48. > :17:51.advantage they are going to gain from that, and they go on to score a

:17:52. > :17:54.great try that would probably have won the game, but inevitably he has

:17:55. > :18:02.cost the game. No arguments about it. Even the owners denied and had a

:18:03. > :18:06.go at him for what he did. Yes, if the owners are saying they are not

:18:07. > :18:14.victimised... There is no value in what he is doing. Catalan, an injury

:18:15. > :18:20.hit side, they have put up a performance. That has been the

:18:21. > :18:23.turning point for Catalan, there away form. They're been consistently

:18:24. > :18:28.able to play at home, now they are doing it away. If I were that

:18:29. > :18:33.George, I would be infuriated. From the point of view Warrington, Tony

:18:34. > :18:37.Smith not happy, he said, we are being dictated to and playing the

:18:38. > :18:40.victims. What does he mean? I interpret that as him saying they're

:18:41. > :18:45.not going out and doing what they want to do in a game, not initiating

:18:46. > :18:48.contacts or playing with their game plan, they are sitting back and

:18:49. > :18:51.letting the other teams dictate the game and how they want to play, and

:18:52. > :18:56.then just reacting and playing off the back of it. Getting bullied, a

:18:57. > :19:00.little bits, in that regard. He will be disappointed, because that has

:19:01. > :19:03.been their strength throughout the year is playing on the front foot,

:19:04. > :19:07.playing exciting rugby and taking it to the opposition. What has been the

:19:08. > :19:12.turning point backwards for them a little bit? There are always peaks

:19:13. > :19:16.and troughs, Sandow got injured when he was playing amazing. It happens.

:19:17. > :19:22.It is all about picking the right time. The leaks have shown that as

:19:23. > :19:28.long as you get yourself in that top four, it is all about that last four

:19:29. > :19:31.and playing good stuff. Both of them look like they will be in the top

:19:32. > :19:35.four, could you see this as a possible Grand Final? I have

:19:36. > :19:41.actually predicted it will be Warrington- hole-mac. Catalan should

:19:42. > :19:45.be up in those play-offs, they could do some damage. If they get their

:19:46. > :19:50.full squad out of those games, they can beat anyone. I could see them in

:19:51. > :20:03.the Grand Final. I would go against Rob! I will not have a go. Readers

:20:04. > :20:09.-- leaders going into it where Hull. How do you approach this one, look?

:20:10. > :20:12.Coming up against hole-mac who had played really well and got some

:20:13. > :20:16.results, we knew we had to start well. And we did, we started well

:20:17. > :20:20.and got on top early. But the last 20 minutes of the first half we were

:20:21. > :20:25.poor and made too many mistakes, give away too many penalties. We

:20:26. > :20:28.were disappointing. I thought we would make it at the end, thought we

:20:29. > :20:35.had done enough, but we didn't do enough against a very good whole

:20:36. > :20:41.team. He had a few players playing out of position. Yes, I think we can

:20:42. > :20:45.sustain it over a longer put of time, that is difficult. But all

:20:46. > :20:49.clubs have had to do it. We have had to deal with that. But it has taken

:20:50. > :20:57.its toll on us at certain times this year. Lee Radford the morning limit

:20:58. > :21:01.of errors, despite going on to win. Yes, we try to put them under a lot

:21:02. > :21:05.of pressure, because they have been making errors in the last three or

:21:06. > :21:08.four weeks, they have got quite a lot of balls, probably because

:21:09. > :21:14.they're trying to play quite a lot of rugby. He will be disappointed

:21:15. > :21:17.with that, but there was a bit of rain towards the end which did not

:21:18. > :21:22.help the handling conditions. But they were still good enough to get

:21:23. > :21:29.the win. And what about Solomona, he is scoring for fun. Pretty much

:21:30. > :21:34.every one of his finishes have been incredible, acrobatics. We have to

:21:35. > :21:42.find him half a yard, because he is electric, his pace is great. What

:21:43. > :21:47.would the impact of the substitute? He came on here and had this burst

:21:48. > :21:51.of enthusiasm. Radford said he had a point to prove, and he certainly

:21:52. > :21:54.did. He got that try, and that hurt us because we're just got ourselves

:21:55. > :21:57.back in the game and then had to chase it again. That hurt us, and

:21:58. > :22:05.then with this one not quite going over, it was a great kick from Danny

:22:06. > :22:11.Tickle, just not quite enough. If you take the tries, you would have

:22:12. > :22:12.won it. Yes, but it should not come down to conversion from the

:22:13. > :22:13.sideline. down to conversion from the

:22:14. > :22:19.sideline. There was enough to win it. A few soft tries from our

:22:20. > :22:23.defensive standards, and a few chances we should have scored and

:22:24. > :22:26.got the win. Is it the sign of a championship side that if they are

:22:27. > :22:31.not playing well they're still winning games? I think you read my

:22:32. > :22:35.mind, the fact that he is claiming that Hull and making so many

:22:36. > :22:39.mistakes but still winning. It is all about gaining points. At this

:22:40. > :22:44.time of year, you take when just to get in that top four. For them to

:22:45. > :22:48.not play at their absolute best and still win games... It is really

:22:49. > :22:53.difficult to go to the Jungle, or whatever it is called at Castleford,

:22:54. > :22:56.it is a difficult place to go, so to win not playing your best off, it is

:22:57. > :23:01.looking good for hole-mac. Time to read the Salford White boy, who

:23:02. > :23:04.missed the first few months of the season but is now winning friends

:23:05. > :23:15.and scoring tries on the wing for the Red Devils.

:23:16. > :23:22.I got into rugby when I was 13, I was young. My mum was protective she

:23:23. > :23:26.didn't really like me contact sport. I remember a couple of games where

:23:27. > :23:31.she wanted to run onto the field where was young to see if I was OK.

:23:32. > :23:37.But that is just my mum, and she is happy that it is into my life and it

:23:38. > :23:41.has taken me to parts of the world which I am loving. My heart was I

:23:42. > :23:45.was back at home with the Broncos, that was my team, and I told my mum

:23:46. > :23:48.when I was young that one day I would play for them, and to actually

:23:49. > :23:53.run out onto the field and put on that jersey, I remember my first

:23:54. > :23:57.home game, literally my whole family was there. I had to get about 20

:23:58. > :24:01.tickets. They were all sitting in the corner in the same section, and

:24:02. > :24:04.I was fortunate enough to score at that corner. That was an awesome

:24:05. > :24:10.feeling for me and a dream come true. When I was in Australia I had

:24:11. > :24:16.some interest. It all became a bit of a money thing. My family is what

:24:17. > :24:20.I look after, that is my priority, so to support them and to be will to

:24:21. > :24:24.do that for my family is a big thing for me. I'm pretty sure I'm not the

:24:25. > :24:27.only one sending money back onto my family to support them. It is

:24:28. > :24:31.something I have chosen to do personally. I have an autistic

:24:32. > :24:35.brother at home mum has to look after. It is not easy for them. And

:24:36. > :24:45.it is something I choose to do, to be there for them.

:24:46. > :24:52.When this came up, and I had about Manchester, being able to come here

:24:53. > :24:57.once, and I really enjoyed it. The fans are crazy. They love singing

:24:58. > :25:02.their songs, and I love the atmosphere. The people over here in

:25:03. > :25:06.England, I find them very friendly. I have a song they have made. It is

:25:07. > :25:19.funny, it is catchy and gets in my head.

:25:20. > :25:24.# Vidot is on fire. # All the boys play for each other,

:25:25. > :25:31.it is a bit of a brotherhood. There have been a couple of results will

:25:32. > :25:34.be lost by small margin, and shorter cells in the foot with mistakes are

:25:35. > :25:38.certain things we have gone for and it has not come off foreigners. That

:25:39. > :25:45.is something we have to look at and address. That's happened, let's move

:25:46. > :25:49.on and do what we can do. Our priority at the moment is to get

:25:50. > :25:53.into that top eight, and I think it is achievable for us. Every game is

:25:54. > :25:57.pretty much a final for us. Competition that all the boys are

:25:58. > :26:01.excited for the challenge. I know that I personally love that, I love

:26:02. > :26:07.having a challenge in front of me. So hopefully we get the job done.

:26:08. > :26:14.And you can hear more from Daniel Vidot on the BBC sport website. The

:26:15. > :26:17.last time leads one away from Headingley was in the Grand Final at

:26:18. > :26:25.Old Trafford. The champions were Belle Vue on Friday night, always

:26:26. > :26:27.feisty, and it was a good start. By all accounts the conditions were

:26:28. > :26:32.horrendous, a lot of handling errors, but it seems that leads

:26:33. > :26:35.handle the conditions are little bit better. Wakefield have struggled in

:26:36. > :26:40.the last few weeks. Where playing excellent rugby, but the last few

:26:41. > :26:45.weeks they have struggled for a little bit of form. Would they have

:26:46. > :26:53.fancied their chances against a down on their luck leads? I think so.

:26:54. > :26:56.Leeds have got quality personnel, quality players. It is only a matter

:26:57. > :27:03.of time before they do click, and they will hope you can use this game

:27:04. > :27:06.as a springboard to more victories. Look, you were at the game, was a

:27:07. > :27:11.game management that one this? Certainly was. Leeds were fantastic

:27:12. > :27:19.and their management. The got to the kicks well. You can see here Liam

:27:20. > :27:22.Sutcliffe taking another penalty. He kicked four penalties, any time you

:27:23. > :27:26.got a penalty inside the 30 they would take the points which give

:27:27. > :27:32.them a good cushion at times. And scoring this try like this one, Ryan

:27:33. > :27:37.Hoggan off the bench amid a great difference to the team. I'm sure the

:27:38. > :27:42.players will see him coming back as a real boost. They had to change a

:27:43. > :27:46.little bit, they rotated full-backs through the game. They did. They

:27:47. > :27:52.made quite a big change. There was a change at hooker that... Liam

:27:53. > :27:57.Sutcliffe was playing really well, but they rotated around and ended up

:27:58. > :28:04.playing a really good game. What did you make of the Symbian on his

:28:05. > :28:06.debut? I'm try to work out the ruling of throwing the ball at

:28:07. > :28:13.someone. What constitutes sin-bin for. He did not look impressed. He

:28:14. > :28:17.actually got a head high in the tackle before, so that's what he was

:28:18. > :28:25.not overly pleased about. But I will have to check my robe at home, --

:28:26. > :28:30.check my rule book. From the Leeds point of view, they have a week off,

:28:31. > :28:33.and given all the injuries, how much of a boost will it be fun and

:28:34. > :28:38.finally to have a breather? I think so. With their training base in

:28:39. > :28:47.everything that has gone on. For them to have a little bit of time to

:28:48. > :28:51.regroup. Ryan Hall, back, one point the world was my best winger. It is

:28:52. > :28:54.great for the young lads. But they also have players on the sidelines

:28:55. > :28:58.still to come back, and sometimes you can use a week off to your

:28:59. > :29:03.advantage. I be looking upwards? Witness of the team they are

:29:04. > :29:06.targeting, and they have their next. It is only one victory away from

:29:07. > :29:10.home, like you say, but they will try to use this as a little bit of a

:29:11. > :29:14.springboard and carry a bit of momentum into the game they have

:29:15. > :29:20.next. St Helens were looking to avoid a fifth consecutive league

:29:21. > :29:23.when they took on Hull KR on Friday. The commentator is Richard Sterne.

:29:24. > :29:31.This is a bright start from the Robins. Clarkson to Kelly. He

:29:32. > :29:37.juggles with it and has got support. Ken Greenwood make it? No, but he

:29:38. > :29:44.can. Hull Kingston Rovers open the scoring. Fast hands. Clarkson

:29:45. > :29:49.reaches out. Rovers extend their lead. The Saints are in a good

:29:50. > :29:58.position here. Lomax. Otis Webb, it is a walk-in. Adam Swift is

:29:59. > :30:07.in. It is Saint Helens' first of the evening. I chance again. Adam Swift,

:30:08. > :30:10.one-on-one with Kelly again. Another try. Saint Helen 's quick

:30:11. > :30:29.back-to-back scores. Still going for eft. Dixon comes

:30:30. > :30:36.across. Swift is in, hat-trick try. St Helens start the second half as

:30:37. > :30:50.they finished the first. Turner. Peyroux. Nice they there. McDonald

:30:51. > :31:02.with a score. Along the line. Out of the side. Smith's fourth of the

:31:03. > :31:14.evening. St Helens in command now. There is Dixon. Greenwood. Still

:31:15. > :31:27.Thomas Minns. He is in. A lifeline for Hull Kingston Rovers. There is

:31:28. > :31:33.Will Keane. Out to Greenwood. Going further line, going for the

:31:34. > :31:47.off-load. Percival will Clay with the try. Opportunity for Wilkin. He

:31:48. > :31:54.has had a good game, McCarthy-Scarsbrook. The set one up,

:31:55. > :31:57.he has scored one now. Here comes Saints again. Walmsley bullies his

:31:58. > :32:16.way over. Saints win comfortably. As well as the wind, what about the

:32:17. > :32:20.tries? They score some great tries. It will give them a good boost in

:32:21. > :32:25.confidence because they have lacked it and they have been challenged

:32:26. > :32:31.internally and externally on the way they have played. It will be a good

:32:32. > :32:37.thing for them. Hull KR, tough on them with so many players out. What

:32:38. > :32:43.would you do, or wrap them up in cotton wool and look to the Yates?

:32:44. > :32:50.When they lose key personnel, which they have done throughout the

:32:51. > :32:57.season, they do struggle a bit. I have been disappointed with some of

:32:58. > :33:01.their defending qualities. It's a little bit soft, some of the tries.

:33:02. > :33:07.The England coach Wayne Bennett was that two Super League matches. He

:33:08. > :33:11.also held a meeting with 31 Super League players. Everyone was keen to

:33:12. > :33:23.stress it was not an England squad. We will go through it in groups. Was

:33:24. > :33:28.the omission of Jamie a surprise? He has said well, but it looks as if

:33:29. > :33:35.they are going the last year's squad and added more in. He was the most

:33:36. > :33:41.unlucky. Kevin Brown is in there. Would you have in the England team?

:33:42. > :33:47.Without a doubt. One of my biggest bugbear is is when people talk about

:33:48. > :33:56.next year's potential. International rugby is about winning now. It is

:33:57. > :34:01.the be all and end all. If a player is 36 years old and he's the best,

:34:02. > :34:05.pick him. Looking at the props and the hookers, it will be tough

:34:06. > :34:10.because there are good players in the NRL. It will be tough of the

:34:11. > :34:15.place to get in. Definitely. The Australian -based props and walkers

:34:16. > :34:21.will come for the NRL. Depending on how form works out, you would like

:34:22. > :34:27.to think a few of those guys would get a chance. But I think Wayne will

:34:28. > :34:43.lean on picking most of the guys out there.

:34:44. > :34:51.If you look at the squad, everyone is getting a second crack of the

:34:52. > :34:59.whip. A familiar squad with a few names added. Is that when Bennett

:35:00. > :35:05.is, he goes on for Minnock reputation? Yes, I think that is his

:35:06. > :35:13.way. He was coach at Queensland for a few years and that was the ethos.

:35:14. > :35:17.He is not going to go on refutation or a few other people think he

:35:18. > :35:21.should pick. He will pick the best players. He will let them know nice

:35:22. > :35:28.and early and get them as good as they possibly can. His assistant was

:35:29. > :35:34.plotting the downfall of Wigan and we will see how he got on shortly,

:35:35. > :35:38.but there was a time when he was Cherry and Whites to the call. He

:35:39. > :35:43.was part of a weakened team that took on Halifax in 1990, and yes, it

:35:44. > :36:00.is Hammer time. A beautiful ball. He has an overlap.

:36:01. > :36:06.There is a chance. To Edwards. It is the first one already. Great

:36:07. > :36:16.tackling by Halifax. That is good play. Steve Smith. He will make it.

:36:17. > :36:29.Beautiful cover tackle from Danny Spens. That is a good run.

:36:30. > :36:47.Hanley again. Kenny get to left of the field. Oh, yes he will. Superb

:36:48. > :36:53.try for Jeremy Hanley. He has got Hanley coming along inside. He goes

:36:54. > :37:00.for the hat-trick. That is the first time any player has ever scored a

:37:01. > :37:06.hat-trick in the final of this competition. For more tackles to go

:37:07. > :37:14.in this sequence. I think he is over. There is no stopping that 18

:37:15. > :37:21.stones ?5 tank when it is roaring at you. There it is, the sign of the

:37:22. > :37:37.80s and now dominating the 90s. Widnes went top in March, but they

:37:38. > :37:41.have dropped. The reaction of three coaches in the stands will tell you

:37:42. > :37:44.everything you need to know about this one. The commentator is Dave

:37:45. > :37:55.Woods. Kept alive, a little joggle. They

:37:56. > :38:05.are probing and pressing and they are getting closer. Widnes asking

:38:06. > :38:15.some pertinent questions. All we had to do was catch the ball. He scored

:38:16. > :38:29.the try, and he knows. Look at the spaces in here. Look at that for an

:38:30. > :38:36.opportunity. He is away and Widnes looking into the left-hand side.

:38:37. > :38:43.Hanbury for the line. Who would be a coach on a night like this. The

:38:44. > :38:49.frustration mounts for Widnes. Two moments of Neoguri that have ended

:38:50. > :38:56.in disaster. It's no surprise the England coach is yawning here. We

:38:57. > :39:08.have yet to see the first score. Driven in and straightened up.

:39:09. > :39:17.Waiting at dummy half. Keen to get involved, but he passes it on.

:39:18. > :39:22.Charnley once it, Charlie gets it. Glory Glory hallelujah, we have a

:39:23. > :39:26.try. 50 minutes very nearly played and Josh Charnley finally breaks the

:39:27. > :39:34.deadlock. Well, he was calling for it earlier and it is a lovely flick

:39:35. > :39:46.pass that took it his way. Shaun Wane punches the air. Smith offering

:39:47. > :39:55.it back on inside again and a plundering forward by Sutton. Matty

:39:56. > :40:00.Smith on the sixth tackle. In a drop kic position and over it goes. That

:40:01. > :40:10.might be the moment that wins the game. -- drop-kick. Hard labour from

:40:11. > :40:18.deep inside their own half, carried out here by Corey Thompson who has

:40:19. > :40:21.done really well. Has that lifted Widnes now to produce something

:40:22. > :40:30.special? It looks as though it might have gone. Dean running free. For

:40:31. > :40:39.the corner. Oh, he has lost it! He has lost it. That is the third...

:40:40. > :40:50.The referee is having a look at it again. That is the third scorer bore

:40:51. > :41:01.moment that Widnes has let slip through their hands. -- that is the

:41:02. > :41:10.third moment for a score that with this has let slip through their

:41:11. > :41:17.hands. -- Widnes. They keep the pressure up on top spot.

:41:18. > :41:27.Do you watch Dennis Spence and think, maybe not. Too many highs and

:41:28. > :41:35.lows and the emotional stress that must be, it must be awful. It was a

:41:36. > :41:41.coach killer. Some of the things that happened in the game, during

:41:42. > :41:46.the game, honestly be tried at the end. He's head was in his hands the

:41:47. > :41:51.most of the game. We have had a few low scoring matches. Is that just

:41:52. > :41:55.good defence? Wigan's defence was good on the night. You would like to

:41:56. > :42:02.think it is good defence and not poor attack, but watching this one

:42:03. > :42:09.here, thinking about consistency, because it is a counter attack it

:42:10. > :42:14.gets pulled up. On a different field the slides over and scores. They

:42:15. > :42:18.dropped one over the line. You would like to think it is really good

:42:19. > :42:24.defence and that is what is making these low scores. A lot of players

:42:25. > :42:28.rested by Wigan or out injured. They do still keep grinding out those

:42:29. > :42:33.results in a way that other teams don't cope. That is a sign of a good

:42:34. > :42:41.side when you are winning without your best players. Wigan have a

:42:42. > :42:47.conveyor belt of good players. If someone is out, they bring in

:42:48. > :42:52.someone who is good. John Bateman suspended for eight weeks. Is that

:42:53. > :42:58.enough for everyone to forgive and forget and move on? Well, it depends

:42:59. > :43:03.on what has happened. Whether that will ever come out, I am not sure,

:43:04. > :43:08.but the issue at hand is whatever the players in the club decide. It

:43:09. > :43:12.will be hard to speculate on that unless you know all the facts, I

:43:13. > :43:18.would say. Wayne Bennett was watching on, we saw him yawning. If

:43:19. > :43:26.you need some sleep on the way home, maybe we will repeat that one.

:43:27. > :43:32.Watching a majority of these games, I have turned a few after half-time.

:43:33. > :43:37.It wasn't the greatest weekend. Not necessarily the best advert. Five

:43:38. > :43:41.wins in Rome for Wigan. Here is how things are looking for them and

:43:42. > :43:56.everyone else in the First Utility Super League.

:43:57. > :44:02.Super League takes a break this week because it is the quarterfinals of

:44:03. > :44:08.the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup. It kicks off in Huddersfield on

:44:09. > :44:14.Thursday and continues on Friday and Saturday. Coverage on the BBC begins

:44:15. > :44:22.with commentary on Huddersfield against Wakefield. That's from

:44:23. > :44:30.7:30pm on Thursday. Then join us on BBC Two from 7:30pm on BBC Two for

:44:31. > :44:35.Warrington against Widnes. We will be showing Wigan and Castleford on

:44:36. > :44:37.Saturday. That is it. The Super League show will be back in a

:44:38. > :44:42.fortnight. Goodbye. MUSIC: Toreador Song from Carmen

:44:43. > :44:49.by Georges Bizet It doesn't matter what level you are

:44:50. > :44:52.or what you play, just get playing and join

:44:53. > :44:56.our virtual orchestra. Good to have you back, sir. I never

:44:57. > :45:02.thought I'd live to see the day. I wonder,

:45:03. > :45:09.when you're helping people,
