:00:34. > :00:37.The third round of the FA Cup, I wonder what stories will unfold this

:00:38. > :00:47.weekend. Its content, straight in! Still

:00:48. > :00:56.going, Aguero. Still going. Oh, that's a magnificent finish. And

:00:57. > :01:02.that's gone in, it's an own goal. Eastleigh have gone in front. What a

:01:03. > :01:21.goal from Barry Bannon! A terrific strike from Walters. Manchester

:01:22. > :01:27.United get a late, late winner. Ooh! The cup holders, safely through to

:01:28. > :01:31.the fourth round. A warm welcome to more drama and intrigue from the

:01:32. > :01:36.third round of the Emirates FA Cup. We are at the white -- at White Hart

:01:37. > :01:42.Lane for highlights of Spurs against Leicester. Highlights coming up

:01:43. > :01:47.later. We start at the Kassam Stadium where 54 league places are

:01:48. > :01:49.separated Oxford United from League 2 and the Premier League strugglers

:01:50. > :01:54.Swansea City. Their form couldn't be more different with Oxford only

:01:55. > :02:02.losing one in 15, while these ones had one win from ten in the league.

:02:03. > :02:09.Was there an upset in the offing? COMMENTATOR: The FA Cup still has

:02:10. > :02:14.its allure, more than 12,000 packed into the Kassam Stadium on a chilly

:02:15. > :02:18.Sunday lunchtime, most of them hoping that Swansea City will be the

:02:19. > :02:27.first Premier League side to bow out of the FA Cup at the third round

:02:28. > :02:35.stage. So, the sites, Oxford United are unchanged from the team that won

:02:36. > :02:40.4-2 at Notts County. Sustaining their League 2 Third Place. Late

:02:41. > :02:48.permission to play the striker Chris Maguire, who is on loan from

:02:49. > :02:54.Rotherham. And these ones, they give a debut to the full-back Liam

:02:55. > :02:57.Shephard. Big day for him. Jack Cork survives from the starting line-up

:02:58. > :03:02.that lost against Manchester United but seven of this team started the

:03:03. > :03:13.excellent goalless draw at Crystal Palace on Boxing Day. Grimes again.

:03:14. > :03:21.Emnes is onside. Gomis waiting in the middle. What a chance that is

:03:22. > :03:26.for Jefferson Montero. He should be scoring, it was well pulled back by

:03:27. > :03:31.Emnes. Montero made good contact but he really should be hitting the

:03:32. > :03:38.target. And there is the legend, even the players call him that, Alan

:03:39. > :03:43.Curtis. He needs a win, doesn't he? Taylor in the middle, getting a

:03:44. > :03:49.touch! A good save from Nordfeldt. The first time that the Swede has

:03:50. > :03:56.been called into action. Brian Tyler -- Ryan Taylor showing his prowess.

:03:57. > :04:07.A good save by Maud felt. Michael Appleton -- Nordfeldt. Roofe turning

:04:08. > :04:11.away from Shephard. He shoots. Nordfeldt was again in the right

:04:12. > :04:19.position. It's just bounced in front of him. Again finding Roofe in the

:04:20. > :04:26.right position, he turned to easily come he went alone, straight at the

:04:27. > :04:34.goalkeeper. Oxford really have some appetite. Plenty in the middle.

:04:35. > :04:40.Still not cleared. The shot came in from Sercombe. Swansea have

:04:41. > :04:46.scrambled it away for another corner. I think that actually comes

:04:47. > :04:56.off his own player, Kemar Roofe. Whether it would have found the

:04:57. > :05:07.corner of the net, we aren't sure. Space for Tabanou. Montero, here he

:05:08. > :05:14.goes. Cutting inside. Emnes, a lovely touch, Montero! Lovely goal

:05:15. > :05:21.by the Ecuadorian winger, Jefferson Montero. His first goal of the

:05:22. > :05:26.season, and how sweet was the build-up? Lovely finish too. Swansea

:05:27. > :05:32.City take the lead at the Kassam Stadium. Magnificent goal, it is

:05:33. > :05:36.Jefferson Montero at his best, running at defenders. What a touch

:05:37. > :05:41.from Marvin Emnes, coming from the right-hand side. Lovely little

:05:42. > :05:45.touch. Montero just gets there first, gets the ball out of his

:05:46. > :05:50.feet, sees where the goalkeeper is and he has the awareness. What a

:05:51. > :05:57.lovely little finish that is from Jefferson Montero.

:05:58. > :06:10.Not far away again. Tell you what, he catches that absolutely superbly.

:06:11. > :06:18.Gomis pouncing on that. Emnes is available. No foul... He took his

:06:19. > :06:23.time then, Kevin Friend, to decide whether that was a foul on Bafetimbi

:06:24. > :06:36.Gomis. I think Gomis was just caught. Shelvey. Steps up. Oh, the

:06:37. > :06:43.side netting. He looks and wished and I'm not surprised. He glances to

:06:44. > :06:52.the bench, Jonjo Shelvey. He knew it was close. Lovely touch inside. It

:06:53. > :07:01.took Shephard to get back and block Maguire again. Just before

:07:02. > :07:11.half-time. Maguire with the corner. Sercombe. The shot that time by

:07:12. > :07:19.Mullins. Still not cleared by the Swans defence and it's a penalty!

:07:20. > :07:25.MacDonald. Oxford United have a penalty kick. I'm not sure whether

:07:26. > :07:34.there was too much contact. This game is set to take a decisive twist

:07:35. > :07:41.just before half-time. Sercombe... He buries it, Oxford United are

:07:42. > :07:46.level. Liam Sercombe scores a famous goal at the Kassam Stadium. If in

:07:47. > :07:58.doubt, put your foot through the ball. Straight down the middle. In

:07:59. > :08:06.the penalty area. Still not cleared. Over the top by Maguire. Like

:08:07. > :08:12.Montero's chance in the first half. Should have done better. Warning

:08:13. > :08:22.signs at the start of the second half for Swansea City.

:08:23. > :08:34.Here come Oxford again. Oh, it's a beauty! It's Kemar Roofe with a

:08:35. > :08:40.sensational strike and Oxford have the lead. Minutes into the second

:08:41. > :08:49.half, an unstoppable shot from the danger of them -- danger man, Kemar

:08:50. > :08:55.Roofe. Great touch from Taylor, good awareness, freeing the ball for

:08:56. > :09:04.Kemar Roofe. The goals -- he goes inside and it's a terrific shot, no

:09:05. > :09:11.chance whatsoever. The roof just fell in an Swansea City. Liam

:09:12. > :09:19.Sercombe and Kemar Roofe, heroes for that man, Appleton. The cross,

:09:20. > :09:23.Shelby is in there. Swansea City corner. Well done, Shephard. One

:09:24. > :09:36.thing on his mind, plenty of room, put the ball in the box. Shelby with

:09:37. > :09:42.the corner. Pushed over. Cork got there and Slocum had to deal with

:09:43. > :09:52.it. He miscued that one. Went behind him. The break is on. Maguire. Gets

:09:53. > :10:05.the ball for Roofe, he's about to go. Roofe scores! Kemar Roofe with

:10:06. > :10:13.his second of the second half. Swansea City are really on the

:10:14. > :10:24.brink. Whether there was a push on Jack Cork, it's debatable. Terrific

:10:25. > :10:28.pass. He's got to let him go. He could have stayed on his feet for a

:10:29. > :10:32.split second longer and it may have been hard for Roofe to beat the

:10:33. > :10:36.keeper. I thought it had gone wide, but the deflection into the back of

:10:37. > :10:46.the net, and now Swansea have a mountain to climb. Scooped away by

:10:47. > :10:53.Shelby, to the substitute, Kingsley. FA Cup debut for him. Montero, who

:10:54. > :11:00.set Swansea on their way, but it has gone sour since. A good ball from:

:11:01. > :11:09.Mr Jack Cork. A chance here. Swansea are back in this, Bafetimbi Gomis

:11:10. > :11:14.makes no mistake. The Frenchman strikes. Round of applause from the

:11:15. > :11:20.manager. Swazi offside? Gets the benefit of the doubt. Lovely first

:11:21. > :11:27.touch and a terrific finish. Great pass by Jack Cork to release Gomis

:11:28. > :11:31.on the left-hand side. Shelby is forward for Swansea City, Montero on

:11:32. > :11:41.the outside. He sees him, cut inside. Saved by Slocombe. Great

:11:42. > :11:45.pass by Jonjo Shelvey and Montero getting in front of Baldock for the

:11:46. > :11:55.first time in the second half. Escaping from Montero. O'Dowda. That

:11:56. > :12:06.would have been game over. It's a good save, fingertip save. And there

:12:07. > :12:12.is Timmy mallet in the stand! There we are.

:12:13. > :12:28.A good header away by Wright. Barrow picks it up, showing his face. --

:12:29. > :12:36.pace. Gomis, it took a deflection. What a block that was from Mullins.

:12:37. > :12:42.Throwing his body in front of it. Swansea City are out of the FA Cup!

:12:43. > :12:50.It's a famous win for Oxford United and their manager, Michael Appleton.

:12:51. > :12:56.Disappointment in the first game as interim manager for Alan Curtis. I

:12:57. > :13:00.thought the performance was outstanding from the players. It was

:13:01. > :13:04.always going to be difficult against a Premier League team, no doubt

:13:05. > :13:07.about that. We feel we have a fantastic stadium with great

:13:08. > :13:10.supporters and we have a half decent pitch, after looking at the pictures

:13:11. > :13:16.from yesterday. We played our way and we got the result. In hindsight,

:13:17. > :13:20.did you underestimate them? Not at all, we know they were a good team,

:13:21. > :13:25.we seen enough footage to know that it would be a good test. I thought

:13:26. > :13:28.the team we had were strong enough to get a result. Credit Oxford, they

:13:29. > :13:35.were the better team and deserved to win. Probably they are used

:13:36. > :13:38.possession in the league, playing the passing team from the Premier

:13:39. > :13:44.League but we matched them and made it difficult for them. It's going to

:13:45. > :13:49.be great, if we get the opportunity to have another big void in the

:13:50. > :13:52.Premier League -- a big boy from the Premier League it would be

:13:53. > :14:00.fantastic. You've had a chance to look at the penalty, what did you

:14:01. > :14:03.think? I thought it was perhaps a penalty, may be the reaction of the

:14:04. > :14:09.player gives an indication as to whether there is contact, and I

:14:10. > :14:12.don't think there is. But no real complaint. A terrific afternoon for

:14:13. > :14:18.Oxford United, well done to them to progress to the fourth round. I'm

:14:19. > :14:23.joined by Kevin Kilbane and Emile Heskey. That was a proper cup tie.

:14:24. > :14:29.Brilliant game, everything you want from the cup tie and everything you

:14:30. > :14:32.expect, great third round tie and something we enjoyed. Swansea threw

:14:33. > :14:38.everything at Oxford in the closing stages. Yes and they stood firm,

:14:39. > :14:46.they kept them at bay, it was great. Let's look at the debatable penalty

:14:47. > :14:52.decision. Alan Curtis said it was a penalty, he was quite honest when

:14:53. > :14:57.looking at the replay. After reviewing it I think he sees no

:14:58. > :15:03.contact from Barnsley, but I think is the heavy contact, he goes to

:15:04. > :15:08.ground -- Bartley. I think the referee got it right. Yes,

:15:09. > :15:11.definitely, it was reckless, no need to make the challenge there. It is

:15:12. > :15:17.the way he threw himself at him. There was slight contact, not no

:15:18. > :15:22.contact, but that's enough when you are throwing yourself at the ball.

:15:23. > :15:27.Credit Oxford in the closing stages, 3-1 up, they still kept going,

:15:28. > :15:31.looking for the fourth goal. That is what Appleton has done with them,

:15:32. > :15:37.hunting for promotion in League 2. On today's viewing, they may go up.

:15:38. > :15:42.A lot of talent in the team. Going forward, 3-1 up, still expecting to

:15:43. > :15:46.get another goal, credit to the manager and players, perhaps taking

:15:47. > :15:51.the manager's philosophy onto the pitch. Credit to them that they put

:15:52. > :15:57.in such a good performance but what a day for Oxford United. Even before

:15:58. > :16:02.kick-off, Oxford knew about the -- Swansea knew about the dangers posed

:16:03. > :16:08.by Kemar Roofe. He certainly didn't let the Oxford fans down, did he?

:16:09. > :16:16.He has been brilliant all season. People to weigh his opportunities.

:16:17. > :16:21.Fantastic first goal. -- he has put away his opportunities. For the

:16:22. > :16:27.second one I'm sure that he has run from the edge of his own box. And

:16:28. > :16:30.that touched to take it past the defender, the defender had a dilemma

:16:31. > :16:36.as to whether to bring him down and he lets him go. You can't bring him

:16:37. > :16:41.down because he knows, as soon as he gets the ball past him, he knows he

:16:42. > :16:47.would be off will stop he stayed up with the player and his first touch

:16:48. > :16:49.took it beyond Shepherd. When he was one-on-one, so unlucky with the

:16:50. > :16:57.goalkeeper coming out to try to make the blog. Credit him for getting the

:16:58. > :17:04.goal. -- the block. Appleton, some clubs have not been in recent

:17:05. > :17:07.health. Look at Portsmouth and Blackburn and Blackpool, in a way

:17:08. > :17:12.he's looking to rebuild his reputation because he has always

:17:13. > :17:15.been seen as an exciting up-and-coming English coach. He

:17:16. > :17:21.worked with Roy Hodgson at West Brom. He had to finish early with

:17:22. > :17:25.injury. Sometimes he has taken those jobs at Blackburn and Blackpool and

:17:26. > :17:30.of course Portsmouth, the wrong manager at the wrong time. Roy

:17:31. > :17:34.Hodgson knows a lot about his coaching prowess and now he's

:17:35. > :17:42.proving it at Oxford. What next for Swansea? Massive game on Sunday

:17:43. > :17:45.against Sunderland. They have to focus on the league and now they can

:17:46. > :17:51.get back to the training field and focus on getting it right. This is a

:17:52. > :17:56.blessing in disguise going out of the cup this early to focus on the

:17:57. > :18:02.league? Perhaps but I don't see it that way. You want a good cup run.

:18:03. > :18:05.Overall they have two now concentrate wholeheartedly.

:18:06. > :18:11.Sunderland are in the same boat after defeat against Arsenal. It

:18:12. > :18:16.will be a brilliant game this week. Both sides have to concentrate again

:18:17. > :18:20.on the Premier League. Let's turn our attention to Stamford Bridge,

:18:21. > :18:24.could lightning strike twice for the Premier League champions Chelsea?

:18:25. > :18:28.Last season they went out at the hands of League 1 Bradford City and

:18:29. > :18:32.they took on Scunthorpe more than wary of the challenge ahead. Martin

:18:33. > :18:38.Fisher in the commentary box. COMMENTATOR: Guus Hiddink Danny

:18:39. > :18:45.Aiken club in his first spell as the Chelsea boss in 2009 and he wants to

:18:46. > :18:50.win again. That is prompted by his team selection today. Terry gets a

:18:51. > :18:55.rest. Otherwise it is a strong as it gets. Diego Costa's first start in

:18:56. > :19:01.the competition with the Spaniard back in form with three goals in his

:19:02. > :19:06.last two outings. Scott Laird scored for Preston in the cup against Man

:19:07. > :19:11.United last season, Bishop's proudest memory is a goal against

:19:12. > :19:19.Man City for Notts County. Madden is their main thread with 14 this

:19:20. > :19:24.season. -- threat. Chelsea have won their last 17 third round ties. A

:19:25. > :19:34.magnificent record going back to 1998. Here is Ivanovic. Costa is the

:19:35. > :19:38.target. And Diego Costa weather wonderful finish. His rich vein of

:19:39. > :19:45.form continues. It's beginning to look more and more like the player

:19:46. > :19:49.in the Premier League last season. Wait for him to make the movement,

:19:50. > :19:56.darting to the near post. And the faintest of touches. Just divert to

:19:57. > :20:01.get beyond Luke Daniels in the Scunthorpe goal. It might have taken

:20:02. > :20:09.a nick off the defender as well. I think it will go down as a Diego

:20:10. > :20:12.Costa goal, I think it was on target anyway. He is reluctant to celebrate

:20:13. > :20:19.so maybe he feels it should not be his. Before Scunthorpe get too

:20:20. > :20:21.downhearted you should recall that last January Bradford were two down

:20:22. > :20:37.before coming back to win 4-2. In goes Fabregas. Good strike.

:20:38. > :20:42.Helped on its way by Luke Daniels. Fabregas has only scored once this

:20:43. > :20:53.season. Back in September in the Champions League. He caught this

:20:54. > :20:59.true. Robbins, his name will always be associated with this competition

:21:00. > :21:03.for what he did for Manchester United against Nottingham Forest

:21:04. > :21:07.which we still believe kept Alex Ferguson in his job. Fabregas. The

:21:08. > :21:14.flag stays down. Pedro is in. Daniels required again. It looks

:21:15. > :21:19.tight. Pedro kept his eye on the ball. Testing the goalkeeper to the

:21:20. > :21:27.maximum there. Good power in the volley. Guus Hiddink has only lost

:21:28. > :21:35.one of his previous 25 games in charge at Chelsea. Oscar lets it run

:21:36. > :21:44.and gets it back from Diego Costa. Now there is danger. It so nearly

:21:45. > :21:50.was a goal. He was involved in a training ground bust up earlier this

:21:51. > :21:54.week. Combining beautifully there. Almost a second Chelsea goal. Trying

:21:55. > :22:02.to bend it into the top corner. He was very close to pulling it off.

:22:03. > :22:26.Wallace with the free kick. He should be able to keep that in. He

:22:27. > :22:31.wins a corner off Zouma. He can now take his place in the penalty area.

:22:32. > :22:41.Five in the box for the League 1 side. Three on the penalty spot.

:22:42. > :22:49.Wallace, Mirfin and Bishop. Good save. Not a great delivery truth be

:22:50. > :22:56.told. Diego Costa has lost it. Scott Laird. And now Williams. Good

:22:57. > :23:03.effort. He is forced to get his gloves dirty. Showing a bit more now

:23:04. > :23:07.going forward. It wouldn't be the worst situation in the world if

:23:08. > :23:19.Scunthorpe are just trailing 1-0 at the break. A bit of space for the

:23:20. > :23:28.Dutchman. This looks dangerous. He drew the foul from Ramirez. There

:23:29. > :23:32.was a worried glance to the referee by the Brazilian which suggests he

:23:33. > :23:37.thought he did something wrong. He caught the right foot of van Veen.

:23:38. > :23:41.It looked as though he was just inside the box. There. Scunthorpe

:23:42. > :23:45.will feel that they should have had a penalty. Such decisions make

:23:46. > :23:59.stories in this competition. Fabregas, he has Willian on his

:24:00. > :24:06.left. Darting forward on the overlap. That is his cross. Incomes

:24:07. > :24:10.Loftus-Cheek. Chelsea lead 2-0. Loftus-Cheek with his first goal for

:24:11. > :24:16.Chelsea, might well have settled this FA Cup tie. The owner leads the

:24:17. > :24:21.applause. No great emotion from the manager but he knows the importance

:24:22. > :24:26.of that strike from the 19-year-old. Lovely finish. Just look at the

:24:27. > :24:34.ground that Azpilicueta makes up from left-back. He looks like a 50

:24:35. > :24:38.metre sprinter. It's a quality ball in and Diego Costa took the defender

:24:39. > :24:44.out of the picture. It's a smart finish from Ruben Loftus-Cheek. He

:24:45. > :24:54.took his chance with the change at half-time. How he has grabbed it

:24:55. > :25:00.with that finish. Scunthorpe's dream ebbs a little more.

:25:01. > :25:07.Incomes the cross. It's not a bad one. Had our way by Willian. Bishop

:25:08. > :25:17.with the shot. Willian away again. -- header away. Clarke. What a shot.

:25:18. > :25:24.On the fingertips of Begovic, taking it onto the post and behind for a

:25:25. > :25:29.corner. Really good pressure from Scunthorpe, particularly to tee it

:25:30. > :25:33.up and hold off the defenders, and what a strike from Clarke. Grasping.

:25:34. > :25:43.Begovic with a fingertip touch onto the post. Blocked by Zouma. Deep

:25:44. > :25:48.into injury time. Scunthorpe get the corner which might bring them a

:25:49. > :25:54.goal. We hope so. Begovic on the line. He fumbles, and Bishop plays

:25:55. > :25:58.it into the side netting. It is just not their day and that indeed is the

:25:59. > :26:06.final action at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea make it through to round

:26:07. > :26:09.four. Guus Hiddink is on track and remains unbeaten. Scunthorpe will

:26:10. > :26:13.point to the big decision by the referee Craig Pawson not to give a

:26:14. > :26:16.penalty when Ramirez appeared to tread on the foot of Kevin van Veen

:26:17. > :26:27.with the score at 1-0. It is a really difficult place to

:26:28. > :26:34.come and we were just gauging the opposition. Probably a little bit

:26:35. > :26:40.too respectful in the opening exchanges, but a little bit nervous.

:26:41. > :26:45.We grew into the game. Generally we were decent, especially in the first

:26:46. > :26:50.half, we started very well. We could not kill it off but at 2-0 we had

:26:51. > :26:55.some options. It's good to be in the next round. Their goalkeeper made

:26:56. > :27:00.one or two really good saves and that piledriver was flying in, and

:27:01. > :27:07.he made a great save. We were little bit unfortunate. Had we had the

:27:08. > :27:14.penalty it might have given us a little bit of fight in the last 15

:27:15. > :27:18.or 20 minutes. No upset, was it a regulation win for Chelsea? There

:27:19. > :27:21.were difficulties at times for Chelsea, it wasn't the win they

:27:22. > :27:25.probably expected with the side that they put out there today, but

:27:26. > :27:31.overall, they were not really under too much pressure. And I think they

:27:32. > :27:36.got the goals at key times to take them into the next round. It was

:27:37. > :27:40.nearly full stretch line-up for Guus Hiddink, were you surprised? Not

:27:41. > :27:44.really, with the way the season has gone, they need a cup run to keep

:27:45. > :27:49.everyone excited and keep them going and keep the fans on their side, so

:27:50. > :27:55.I think it was asked to any full strength side. It takes Guus

:27:56. > :28:00.Hiddink's run to four games unbeaten, is that another piece of

:28:01. > :28:03.evidence that Chelsea are responding to Guus Hiddink? Results are

:28:04. > :28:08.suggesting that and I feel they have a long way to go before we can see

:28:09. > :28:13.what we have seen from them last season. They are on the right path

:28:14. > :28:17.now. The results suggested that, last week at Crystal Palace they

:28:18. > :28:21.were excellent and another good win today. The side are getting used to

:28:22. > :28:29.Guus Hiddink's ideas as well. Scunthorpe felt hard done by with

:28:30. > :28:33.the penalty shout. Did he have a point? Was Kevin van Veen appended

:28:34. > :28:38.unfairly by Ramirez? I think he was but there is an argument as to

:28:39. > :28:44.whether it was inside or outside. It is arguable. I agree, it is a foul.

:28:45. > :28:49.Was it just on the outside? Certainly on the edge of the area.

:28:50. > :28:55.It's a clear foul from Ramirez. Talking of Scunthorpe, they can take

:28:56. > :29:02.heart. They fell behind after 30 minutes but stuck at it. Absolutely,

:29:03. > :29:08.was it a routine result? I don't think it was, and that was down to

:29:09. > :29:15.Scunthorpe staying in the game. -- 13 minutes. They perhaps should have

:29:16. > :29:17.had a penalty. Maybe a set play to get themselves back, but Chelsea

:29:18. > :29:23.managed to get the second vital goal. You agree? Definitely. I have

:29:24. > :29:28.come to big clubs with smaller clubs and you always know you will get one

:29:29. > :29:31.chance, as long as you are in the game you will get a chance and

:29:32. > :29:38.that's what Scunthorpe did. They went 2-0 down, though. Let's hear

:29:39. > :29:41.about how the game at White Hart Lane unfolded, between Tottenham who

:29:42. > :29:45.are fourth in the league against one of the surprise packages in Emile

:29:46. > :29:57.Heskey's home-town club Leicester. The teams may not be full strength

:29:58. > :30:02.but there is always a tangle about White Hart Lane at FA Cup tie in, a

:30:03. > :30:15.glory of -- a remnant of those glory double bass. -- double days. Eight

:30:16. > :30:17.changes to Leicester, only Schmeichel and Ulloa started against

:30:18. > :30:23.Bournemouth, their third goalless game in a row. Ulloa scored here

:30:24. > :30:29.last season, he has five goals in six FA Cup ties. Spurs are starting

:30:30. > :30:33.as the favourites, I guess, Kevin, because they have the stronger

:30:34. > :30:38.squad. I think that's the case as well. On paper you think they have a

:30:39. > :30:42.more experienced and stronger team. But as we've seen with Leicester

:30:43. > :30:48.this season, very unpredictable at times and I think they will cause

:30:49. > :30:55.the Tottenham defence problems. Cultured touch, the shot across

:30:56. > :31:02.goal. Eriksen! That goalkeeper can only parry the first shot away and

:31:03. > :31:05.it was tucked in very nicely. Playing for eight minutes, it is

:31:06. > :31:13.Tottenham, one, Leicester City, zero. I question Kasper Schmeichel

:31:14. > :31:18.here, he could have done better. It wasn't a strong strike. He parried

:31:19. > :31:22.it into the danger zone, he could have carried it away from goal.

:31:23. > :31:26.Credit Eriksen, he follows it up and finishes well beyond Schmeichel but

:31:27. > :31:32.I think that's where the Leicester goalkeeper will feel he could have

:31:33. > :31:36.done better. The first home goal in a year for Eriksen who scored a

:31:37. > :31:41.great goal at Leicester last season, 25 yards. His first goal since

:31:42. > :31:48.October. Schmeichel may look back on that and think he should have done

:31:49. > :31:54.better. King made the run in support. A dilemma for Ranieri,

:31:55. > :32:01.really. Leicester can go on their form this season to finish in the

:32:02. > :32:06.top six, the top four, but equally they have the ability to go a long

:32:07. > :32:25.way in this competition. The corner and it is 1-1, I salute the

:32:26. > :32:30.equalises! -- by -- Wasilewski. He has a totally free header. You can't

:32:31. > :32:35.miss him. It was a good ball played in by Mary Creagh. It was a good

:32:36. > :32:41.goal when he freed himself -- by Mary

:32:42. > :32:49.nobody on the far post. Nobody protecting Vorm's goal. How often do

:32:50. > :32:56.we see that happen? A good goal. He's only other goal for Leicester

:32:57. > :33:03.came at Manchester United. Good finish. A good cup tie on a good

:33:04. > :33:08.weekend. Song has won it back fairly, Rose in support. Back to

:33:09. > :33:13.Eriksen. A good stop by the goalkeeper who held onto it. Better

:33:14. > :33:26.from Schmeichel that time. A good strike from Eriksen. Good play from

:33:27. > :33:35.Son. He freedoms of up and had the vision to pick out Eriksen. -- he

:33:36. > :33:44.freed himself up. Ulloa giving chase, Vorm away. Deflected high. I

:33:45. > :33:50.don't think the initial strike was going in. The deflection actually

:33:51. > :33:56.helped King. The first start for him came on Boxing Day, three goals for

:33:57. > :34:03.the Japanese International, signed from Maintz. Touched over by Vorm.

:34:04. > :34:13.Knee needed -- he needed to make sure. It was a good ball. He had to

:34:14. > :34:20.make sure it didn't come back into place so Vorm tipped it over. King

:34:21. > :34:25.was waiting for the corner. He strikes the ball well, doesn't he?

:34:26. > :34:33.Okazaki, his first contribution, into the box. A little shimmy and

:34:34. > :34:39.off the post and in! What an impact. The Tinkerman changed it. Within two

:34:40. > :34:45.and a half minutes of the restart, Leicester have gone ahead. They come

:34:46. > :34:55.out firing, brilliant start to the half from Leicester and that man,

:34:56. > :34:58.this attitude, Okazaki, brilliant feet from him. Tottenham didn't

:34:59. > :35:04.clear it well enough. Lovely little ball from King. The Tottenham

:35:05. > :35:10.players backed off, lovely step over, trying to take the strike

:35:11. > :35:15.early, Vorm was right behind it, but good reactions from Okazaki to

:35:16. > :35:19.finish it off. Well finished, brilliant start to the half for

:35:20. > :35:23.Leicester. Claudio Ranieri will be delighted. Lovely balance, dancing

:35:24. > :35:29.through the Tottenham defence and poking it in. Brave step over,

:35:30. > :35:35.wasn't it? Ranieri, absolutely step over -- brilliant step over. What an

:35:36. > :35:44.impact he's had on in this football since returning in the summer. -- on

:35:45. > :35:55.English football. Opening things up for Gray. Comes inside, that's so

:35:56. > :36:05.close. The deflection carried it wide, it was going in. Recognising

:36:06. > :36:11.the threat that Gray has, allowing them into the one on one position.

:36:12. > :36:20.He has been bright, the youngster, in the first 60 minutes. Trippier

:36:21. > :36:24.finding Tottenham's top scorer. Ulloa is back defending. Bentaleb,

:36:25. > :36:28.good at that. That was the right time for Schmeichel to punch and he

:36:29. > :36:32.punched it strongly away. Spot-on, better goalkeeping from Schmeichel.

:36:33. > :36:39.Pushing it away from any kind of danger. Now, Rose. Three in the

:36:40. > :36:55.middle to hit. Dele dropping deep. Handball, that's a penalty! A

:36:56. > :36:59.decision against Dyer and Leicester are fuming. Goss and a half minutes

:37:00. > :37:07.to go. Another controversial FA Cup penalty. Protest from the players.

:37:08. > :37:11.Danny Rose is looking... It is the correct decision. You can see why

:37:12. > :37:14.Leicester were appealing so hard. The ball was beyond him and he had a

:37:15. > :37:22.flick of the hand and it was beyond Nathan Dyer. Harry Kane can rescue

:37:23. > :37:33.Spurs. His 50th goal for the club. Pressure. He drills it. 2-2. It

:37:34. > :37:38.looks as if we'll have another chapter of it. Leicester will field

:37:39. > :37:45.that is very harsh, but a lovely penalty. Yeah, excellent from Harry

:37:46. > :37:49.Kane. Under pressure. A key moment in the game, cool and composed,

:37:50. > :37:54.going for power, striking it beyond Schmeichel. Really good penalty.

:37:55. > :38:01.Sometimes a draw can feel like a defeat, is that how you are feeling?

:38:02. > :38:08.Yes, of course. I think, very few minutes at the end of the match,

:38:09. > :38:14.there was this penalty. It's OK. How did you see the penalty? I didn't

:38:15. > :38:19.see the penalty. There were players in front of me, I don't know if they

:38:20. > :38:23.touched. The more important thing, the referee gave the penalty, it's a

:38:24. > :38:31.penalty. Really happy, today we played like a team. Always it's

:38:32. > :38:37.about collective things. We have a good squad and we need to look

:38:38. > :38:41.forward and keep working. How special is it to be part of this

:38:42. > :38:45.team which is promising so much, so much great in this talent as well,

:38:46. > :38:50.and so competitive on so many fronts? Great, great bunch of lads,

:38:51. > :38:56.everyone involved, the staff, players, everyone. It's great.

:38:57. > :38:59.Hopefully we can keep working hard. A lot of hard work on the training

:39:00. > :39:06.field and hopefully we will keep progressing. They are singing your

:39:07. > :39:11.name. They kept us in the game and we're happy that we can repay them

:39:12. > :39:15.with a replay. The thoughts of Harry Kane whose penalty saved Tottenham

:39:16. > :39:19.at the end. Many will see this as the phoney war before the league

:39:20. > :39:23.meeting on Wednesday. 15 changes between them and we had quite a

:39:24. > :39:28.spectacle. Definitely, they stuck to their fundamentals. Spurs had a lot

:39:29. > :39:33.of possession at Leicester let them have it, hitting them on the break.

:39:34. > :39:39.We saw Gray being pushed in a lot and leaving it open for the right

:39:40. > :39:43.back to come on. And then on the left-hand side, getting in a lot

:39:44. > :39:46.down the left-hand side. After Spurs scored the goal, Leicester got the

:39:47. > :39:51.equaliser and they were happy to sit there with two groups of four and

:39:52. > :39:57.woke up the pressure and then bring on Okazaki, which made the

:39:58. > :40:00.difference -- soak up the pressure. He was scoring the goal and going

:40:01. > :40:04.back to defend as well, making a lot of difference. We seem to be

:40:05. > :40:08.discussing a lot of penalty decisions today. Kevin, you called

:40:09. > :40:16.it a penalty in commentary. Now is your chance to retract it, or stick

:40:17. > :40:19.to your guns. Not in a great position, Robert Madley. I thought

:40:20. > :40:26.he was initially. I thought that Dyer flicked his hand at it, Danny

:40:27. > :40:30.Rose was running away at that moment and Dyer flicked his hand at it. But

:40:31. > :40:36.he has his back to it, he does not see the ball as he is going past. I

:40:37. > :40:40.thought it was a harsh penalty. He had a little flick with his hand.

:40:41. > :40:46.But he isn't looking at the ball, is he? That's the thing, where I was

:40:47. > :40:50.confused myself a little bit. A little bit of stick but I think

:40:51. > :40:54.Harry Kane tucked it away brilliantly, he scored, which is

:40:55. > :41:00.what he came on to do. A harsh penalty but I think Dyer tried to

:41:01. > :41:02.flick it with his hand. Major boost for Tottenham to come away with a

:41:03. > :41:08.replay which neither team really wanted. For Leicester, key for them

:41:09. > :41:14.to show that they can score again without Vardy and Mahrez in the

:41:15. > :41:18.team. Yes you don't want to be too dependent on them. You can be burnt

:41:19. > :41:21.out as well. It is a long season. Everyone has two chip in and do

:41:22. > :41:25.their bit and that's what they showed, that they can score without

:41:26. > :41:30.them. Not the ideal outcome for either team considering their league

:41:31. > :41:36.position. We saw from the amount of changes, both managers wanted an

:41:37. > :41:40.outcome, they wanted to rest their key players but we have the league

:41:41. > :41:46.game coming up, Tottenham against Leicester, and the replay the week

:41:47. > :41:51.after. It's a big two or three weeks for both clubs, realistically. What

:41:52. > :41:54.they are both saying is that the priority is the Premier League but

:41:55. > :42:00.especially for the replay, if you get to the next round, both teams

:42:01. > :42:04.have a good chance of progressing. Let's find out how the nomads of the

:42:05. > :42:08.FA Cup got on, League 2 Carlisle have been forced to play their

:42:09. > :42:13.matches away from Brunton Park which was ravaged by Storm Desmond in

:42:14. > :42:21.December. So they play their home game at Blackpool's Bloomfield Road

:42:22. > :42:25.as they took on Yeovilton. -- yodel. --

:42:26. > :42:33.today it was Blackpool's turn to become Carlisle's home away from

:42:34. > :42:37.home. Brunton Park is out of action because of flood damage with Cumbria

:42:38. > :42:40.reeling from the effects of December's storm. They hope to be

:42:41. > :42:44.back at their regular home later this month. Around 3000 Carlisle

:42:45. > :42:49.supporters made a 200 mile journey there and back to follow their team

:42:50. > :42:57.in the third round. This is a short journey for us. We have 15, 16

:42:58. > :43:02.journeys over 300 miles, to London and places like this, so this is

:43:03. > :43:06.nothing to us. If we have to travel, we will travel but it will be nice

:43:07. > :43:11.to be at home. We enjoy the away games as well. Is the FA Cup

:43:12. > :43:17.important for you? Yes, if we get through, the last 16, who knows?

:43:18. > :43:23.Opponents Yeovil faced a marathon 260 mile journey from the West

:43:24. > :43:30.Country, but Carlisle settled quickly, I very -- Ribery with

:43:31. > :43:40.control but he couldn't find the target. They went ahead with a free

:43:41. > :43:45.kick from 20 yards. -- Ibehre. Grainger's shot hit the net. The

:43:46. > :43:55.frame of the goal denied first Grainger and then Wyke on the

:43:56. > :44:02.follow-up. Yeovil with level soon after, Zoko's header finding its way

:44:03. > :44:10.past the guilty but -- past the goalkeeper. Then Mark Ellis applied

:44:11. > :44:15.the emphatic finish. Maybe Carlisle would enjoy their trip to the

:44:16. > :44:21.seaside after all. Yeovil refused to give up and with the clock ticking

:44:22. > :44:25.past 90 minutes they equalised. The substitute Shaun Jeffers with a

:44:26. > :44:29.memorable volley to level it. Euphoria in the away end. For the

:44:30. > :44:37.Carlisle supporters another long journey. The 11th hour round trip to

:44:38. > :44:43.Yeovil for the replay. Every game is a challenge. Home or away, away and

:44:44. > :44:47.away. Overall, the players have managed the distractions very well.

:44:48. > :44:52.There was a job to be done. I have to think about me and my football

:44:53. > :44:56.club. We had to try and come up with a result today. The players give

:44:57. > :45:01.everything they can possibly give and I'm proud of them. You are in

:45:02. > :45:05.the hat for the fourth round, that must be encouragement? That is the

:45:06. > :45:11.positive, we are still in the hat, very competitive game to come down

:45:12. > :45:19.at Yeovil. I think it's a lovely part of the world. Shaun Jeffers'

:45:20. > :45:27.goal taking it to a replay. You played with him. I did. Going to

:45:28. > :45:34.other places for their home games, does that have a galvanising effect

:45:35. > :45:38.on the team? Yes. It has two. The team has come together and tried to

:45:39. > :45:44.help out with the flooding which has been such a horrendous thing in

:45:45. > :45:48.Cumbria. It can be difficult. The supporters travelling down, they

:45:49. > :45:51.played at Deepdale and Ewood Park. Other grounds in the north-west.

:45:52. > :45:57.It's a difficult journey for the team and then of course the

:45:58. > :45:59.supporters. You can't question the loyalty of the Carlisle fans

:46:00. > :46:06.especially when you take into account the replay at Yeovil, 670

:46:07. > :46:11.miles there and back. The loyalty is unbelievable. To go out there and be

:46:12. > :46:17.supporting them in what are supposed to be home games so far away from

:46:18. > :46:23.your hometown is difficult. They are out in droves. It is fantastic.

:46:24. > :46:30.Let's get to the final third round tie, Championship Cardiff taking on

:46:31. > :46:42.League 1 strugglers Shrewsbury Town. Alistair Mann was watching this one.

:46:43. > :46:50.COMMENTATOR: Cardiff in the all blue these days. An opportunity for the

:46:51. > :46:54.new Shrewsbury Town signing. The player could have marked his return

:46:55. > :47:02.in dramatic circumstances. Making nine changes from the 11 who beat

:47:03. > :47:10.Blackburn Rovers last weekend. Uses him only as a decoy. It is saved. He

:47:11. > :47:19.can't get the rebound. The closest we have come. Halsted could not

:47:20. > :47:27.really hold on. He almost snatches the rebound. He received the full

:47:28. > :47:36.backing of the board despite the 7-1 hammering last weekend against

:47:37. > :47:41.Chesterfield. Here come Cardiff. Ameobi strikes the base of the post.

:47:42. > :47:47.They are beginning to exert themselves now. Ameobi wrapping the

:47:48. > :48:02.bottom of the post. And with Halsted beaten. The keeper needed the frame

:48:03. > :48:11.of his goal to come to his aid. The delivery towards Mangan. The new

:48:12. > :48:18.signing back for a second spell. He only joined a few days ago. He is

:48:19. > :48:23.beginning to eradicate the memory of that humiliating capitulation at

:48:24. > :48:27.Chesterfield last weekend. Mangan getting away from the marker and on

:48:28. > :48:35.the end of the cross from his strike partner Vernon. 17th minute of the

:48:36. > :48:41.second half and a miniature giant-killing could be on the cards.

:48:42. > :48:45.Only won one of the last seven league games, Shrewsbury Town. You

:48:46. > :48:50.wouldn't have guessed from the way they have exhibited themselves

:48:51. > :49:04.today. Here is flabby. Towards Maqueda. Here is Maqueda. -- here is

:49:05. > :49:07.Fabio. A golden opportunity for the one-time golden boy of Man United.

:49:08. > :49:22.He closes down and stops the equaliser. Here is Mangan. Trying to

:49:23. > :49:26.get the better of Tamas. It should have been number two. Clark got his

:49:27. > :49:30.foot to it and he may well regret that moment because that would have

:49:31. > :49:42.sunk Cardiff City. Less than three minutes to go of normal time. He has

:49:43. > :49:50.done well and he wins a corner. Swinging in from Whittaker. Tamas

:49:51. > :49:59.tries the time his run. Whitbread heads it away. Whittingham again.

:50:00. > :50:02.Was Ameobi pulled down? Yes back to know'! A looked as though the

:50:03. > :50:09.referee pointed to the spot but he points for a goal kick. Percival had

:50:10. > :50:10.his heart in his mouth. I thought he pointed to the spot. They looked as

:50:11. > :50:22.though it could have been a foul. One last opportunity for Cardiff to

:50:23. > :50:40.save their blushes maybe. There is no reprieve for Russell

:50:41. > :50:45.Slade. Cardiff City look as though they are joining Swansea in being on

:50:46. > :50:48.the end of a giant-killing act. I thought they were fantastic. We

:50:49. > :50:59.still do the game plan that we worked so hard on. We got the

:51:00. > :51:03.rewards. Kiko had a wonderful chance. There were chances. Even

:51:04. > :51:10.Bruno could have got something late on but it wasn't to be. We needed

:51:11. > :51:14.something big to get the town buzzing again and give them a

:51:15. > :51:22.big-time. Man United or someone would be fantastic. With all of the

:51:23. > :51:26.names back in the hat you can join Mark Chapman and Dean Ryan for the

:51:27. > :51:34.draw at quarter past seven during the One Show on BBC One tomorrow

:51:35. > :51:38.night. And a bonus Match of the Day on Wednesday night, looking back on

:51:39. > :51:43.a full programme of Premier League games. It has been an intriguing

:51:44. > :51:50.third round of the Emirates FA Cup. We saw it, that intriguing fixture

:51:51. > :51:55.at Eastleigh with your current club Bolton Wanderers, is the replay

:51:56. > :51:59.something you can do without? Yes, but you have two handed to easily

:52:00. > :52:07.forgetting the draw. The game was strange because was it on or off? We

:52:08. > :52:14.ended up playing. It was really heavy pitch and one of the Eastleigh

:52:15. > :52:18.was injured. The come out there with getting a draw, we can take it back

:52:19. > :52:22.to Bolton and hopefully do what we know we can do. That fighting spirit

:52:23. > :52:26.is something you need considering your current position in the league.

:52:27. > :52:33.With the situation we are in, it's tough. It is not always going to be

:52:34. > :52:38.right but you have to keep plugging away. When we step onto the pitch,

:52:39. > :52:43.this is our domain and we have to do what we know we can do. Bally and

:52:44. > :52:47.effort from Eastleigh, what was your highlight of third round? The Exeter

:52:48. > :52:52.game on Friday, brilliant for them. And Eastleigh was a highlight. You

:52:53. > :52:57.can't look beyond Oxford, brilliant against Swansea. That has got to be

:52:58. > :53:01.up there with one of the best shocks. Oxford actually, they have

:53:02. > :53:06.done brilliantly and to be honest, the third round didn't deliver as

:53:07. > :53:11.many upsets as we thought? That is what everybody looks for, the

:53:12. > :53:16.giant-killing. The Bolton fans and players would not appreciate that!

:53:17. > :53:19.When you see the draw you are looking at it and you think,

:53:20. > :53:24.Eastleigh away, that comes into your mind. It was nice to actually get

:53:25. > :53:29.the draw. Great to have your company at White Hart Lane. That's it as far

:53:30. > :53:33.as the third round of the FA Cup is concerned. Saturday lacked real

:53:34. > :53:48.shocks and Sunday belonged to Oxford United. From all of us here,

:53:49. > :53:56.goodbye. Delivery towards Mangan! Shot across goal, parried away. But

:53:57. > :54:08.in very neatly indeed. Loftus-Cheek! That was a nice wriggle. It's in.

:54:09. > :54:12.Pressure. He deals with it. 2-2. And he has scored! It's a famous win for

:54:13. > :54:27.Oxford United. The brand-new single

:54:28. > :54:30.from Tinie Tempah.
