:00:50. > :00:57.When you think of Fulham Football Club and Craven Cottage, what do you

:00:58. > :01:03.think? The Cottage itself where John Craven grew up? Where the Queen and

:01:04. > :01:10.Prince Philip had their first ever date. Royal love blossomed. Our team

:01:11. > :01:15.contained George Best and Bobby Moore. Same team, same pitch at the

:01:16. > :01:18.same time. Then of course there at the fact we used to have an

:01:19. > :01:26.absolutely non-techie full colour statue of my good Jackson. Then

:01:27. > :01:30.there was the night when Fulham beat Juventus 4-1. Even I don't believe

:01:31. > :01:34.that was true and I was there! We are the plucky underdogs by the

:01:35. > :01:38.river, the West London team that always manages to find a home for

:01:39. > :01:44.classy, refined footballers. Johnny Haynes, March, cumin, Dempsey, Jamie

:01:45. > :01:53.O'Hara, Jimmy Bullard. And so to the FA Cup and Fulham have an amazing FA

:01:54. > :01:58.Cup record. We got to number 46 in 1975. Now we face Spurs and I can

:01:59. > :02:04.reveal that the score to date will be 3-1 to Fulham. Is that true or is

:02:05. > :02:10.that an alternative fact? Only one way to find out. Welcome to Craven

:02:11. > :02:14.Cottage and it is not fake news that Fulham are potentially 90 minutes

:02:15. > :02:18.away from a place in the Emirates FA Cup quarterfinals. Standing in their

:02:19. > :02:23.way are the Motspur Park eight time winners of the competition. --

:02:24. > :02:28.Tottenham Hotspur. This is one of the great venues of invisible, three

:02:29. > :02:32.seasons since it hosted Premier League football but Fulham believe

:02:33. > :02:37.they can return soon. Spurs are still in three competitions and have

:02:38. > :02:43.gone with a strong starting line-up. It has already been a weekend of big

:02:44. > :02:45.cup shocks with Lincoln City and Millwall's heroics yesterday so can

:02:46. > :02:58.Fulham spring another surprise? Joining us are the former Spurs

:02:59. > :03:01.midfielder Jermaine Jenas, former Fulham Joe Pugh Mark Schwarzer and a

:03:02. > :03:06.man who played for both teams and whose skill lit up the Premier

:03:07. > :03:14.League. What about that for control from Dimitar Berbatov? Berbatov with

:03:15. > :03:23.a gentle touch. Simply superb. Absolutely magnificent! So cool.

:03:24. > :03:28.There has always been a touch of magic about Dimitar Berbatov. You

:03:29. > :03:35.are very welcome, great to see you and to be honest, what ever you lack

:03:36. > :03:41.in skill you made up for in effort! Where does your heart stands today

:03:42. > :03:47.but a lot more Spurs or Fulham? I like both teams. That is why I would

:03:48. > :03:53.like it to be a draw so I can watch one more game. But I have great

:03:54. > :03:58.moments in Spurs the team who give me the scene to show my quality in

:03:59. > :04:03.England and I had a great year and a half with Fulham and scored good

:04:04. > :04:08.goals so both teams are in my heart. It is great for me. And the way that

:04:09. > :04:15.both teams played, it should be a good game. I hope so, I want to see

:04:16. > :04:21.goals. And in the end to have something to look at the game, to be

:04:22. > :04:27.good for the people who pay to watch this kind of team. That is how I

:04:28. > :04:32.used to play as well, to try to entertain. You certainly did.

:04:33. > :04:36.Jermaine, Spurs, a lot of thought about the FA Cup, some teams picking

:04:37. > :04:40.weakened teams but they have gone strong. And it is good to see. After

:04:41. > :04:46.the last couple of results, you get the feeling that their season is in

:04:47. > :04:51.the balance. It could slip away. A top result midweek and he will be

:04:52. > :04:57.looking to get his team act into form and the team he has put out

:04:58. > :04:59.also it is a genuine competition they can go and win. Best back into

:05:00. > :05:05.form. That is the one thing lacking for

:05:06. > :05:12.Pochettino, a major trophy. And for the club as well, you can talk about

:05:13. > :05:16.Pochettino being a great manager and this being a great team but they

:05:17. > :05:21.need to take that next step which is to win something. And 220

:05:22. > :05:25.appearances for Fulham for you, Mark, it is a great place to play,

:05:26. > :05:31.one of the classic grounds? It is, one of the only grounds left that

:05:32. > :05:36.has that atmosphere. Some great memories here and I've always

:05:37. > :05:41.enjoyed playing. This team is making progress, they play lovely football

:05:42. > :05:44.as well. They have had a tough couple of years after relegation

:05:45. > :05:48.from the Premier League, they lost their way a bit. A lot of different

:05:49. > :05:52.managers and probably bad decisions but they are now at a stage where

:05:53. > :05:56.things are turning around. They are getting a team out which is playing

:05:57. > :06:01.exciting football with a good mix of experience and young players coming

:06:02. > :06:05.through. Fulham's most recognisable player is their club captain, Scott

:06:06. > :06:10.Parker, who starts on the bench today also he is now 36 and has also

:06:11. > :06:12.played for Spurs in his 20 year playing career and we send Mark to

:06:13. > :06:24.meeting this week. You have been four years at Fulham,

:06:25. > :06:26.which has been a bit of a roller-coaster, what has it been

:06:27. > :06:31.like as a player in that time? To come out of the Premier League that

:06:32. > :06:34.season, and since then it has been turbulent, changes had to be made

:06:35. > :06:40.and the squad was decimated in terms of where we were. And that comes

:06:41. > :06:45.with relegation. A lot of people losing jobs, it has been a rocky

:06:46. > :06:48.road. Trying to adapt to the Championship, what is the best route

:06:49. > :06:54.out, do you spend again like Newcastle have done this year? If

:06:55. > :06:56.you don't, you are looking at three to five-year process. Fulham is

:06:57. > :07:03.renowned for being a family club, welcoming, that it still have that

:07:04. > :07:09.wonderful charm about it? It does, definitely. Anyone who doesn't know

:07:10. > :07:13.Fulham and has not been around it, the biggest thing is the Stadium. Go

:07:14. > :07:18.to the stadium and it will give you an understanding of what the club is

:07:19. > :07:26.about. There is a real charm, something about it, something very

:07:27. > :07:32.special. Sessegnon makes it three. Ryan Sessegnon, someone I have known

:07:33. > :07:36.since he was ten years old, I have watched him for a long time. How

:07:37. > :07:41.good can he be? Attitude will determine how far you go and the boy

:07:42. > :07:47.is first class with his attitude. He wants to learn, listens to what

:07:48. > :07:52.anyone says. And taking the technical side, he is obviously a

:07:53. > :07:58.fantastic footballer and that will put him in good stead. He was born

:07:59. > :08:04.in 2000, you are 1980, how does it make you feel?! Very old! I feel it

:08:05. > :08:09.every day I went out there at times! I'm not getting any younger. As long

:08:10. > :08:14.as I feel I can contribute in the team in any way and I'm having an

:08:15. > :08:18.input, I'm happy to be around but the day I don't feel like that, I

:08:19. > :08:27.will put my hand up and say, thanks a lot but I'm out. 1980 is a lot

:08:28. > :08:33.better than 1960! You have both played with Scott Parker, a really

:08:34. > :08:40.good professional. He is like Mr professional. If I lack in some

:08:41. > :08:45.professionalism, he was making it! Always first training hard, after

:08:46. > :08:50.training, staying and stretching and helping the boys in the team. I

:08:51. > :08:53.don't think anybody can say a bad word about him and he gives

:08:54. > :08:57.everything for the team. An important player today for Fulham

:08:58. > :09:03.will be Thomas Kalas who is on loan from Chelsea. A lot of promise. He

:09:04. > :09:07.certainly has and that is the one club, apart from Vitesse Arnhem,

:09:08. > :09:11.where he has found a home and he's playing every week. I had a chance

:09:12. > :09:15.to play with him at Chelsea, on his debut. There was a team meeting

:09:16. > :09:21.before the game and when Mourinho put the team up and said, you are

:09:22. > :09:23.playing, and he said, what better place in the world to make your

:09:24. > :09:35.Premier League debut than at Anfield. He asked Lampard where he

:09:36. > :09:40.played his debut and he said Coventry City. He said, this is the

:09:41. > :09:43.best place to make your debut. He doesn't lack confidence. And tell

:09:44. > :09:48.others about the young lad Scott Parker was talking about, Ryan

:09:49. > :09:52.Sessegnon. Like I mentioned, I have seen him since he is ten years old

:09:53. > :09:55.and watched him develop and he had always caught the eye and been very

:09:56. > :10:02.athletic and strong. On the bench today. There is a guy at the club

:10:03. > :10:07.who is the head of the goalkeeping Ekurhuleni was at Crystal Palace

:10:08. > :10:14.he is the goalkeeping coach. He is very similar if not better than

:10:15. > :10:19.Ashley Cole when he first came in. There are high hopes for him will

:10:20. > :10:24.stop and he has shown that he can adapt to be first-team very quickly.

:10:25. > :10:27.It is not often a high -- we highlight a player on the bench but

:10:28. > :10:32.it is good to see young talent coming through and let's hope he

:10:33. > :10:35.lives up to the expectations. Certainly also what Fulham have done

:10:36. > :10:43.is produced some good in players and this is one of them. Jokanovic, you

:10:44. > :10:45.know him well, what is he like? He was working in Bulgaria and

:10:46. > :10:52.everybody was happy with the job he had done and you can see he is very

:10:53. > :10:58.ambitious. From what I know and correct me if I'm wrong, but they

:10:59. > :11:02.changed the pitches at the training ground so it can suit the way they

:11:03. > :11:08.play, passing football, and I think the same as the pitch here. When you

:11:09. > :11:12.train, you are like in the game, you are used to the grass and how to

:11:13. > :11:15.pass the ball and stop the ball which shows he knows the small

:11:16. > :11:21.details can help the team grow up. It makes sense. Spurs almost became

:11:22. > :11:24.victims of a major shock in the last round. Wycombe Wanderers of League 2

:11:25. > :11:29.took them all the way at White Hart Lane. It is a day full of hope,

:11:30. > :11:41.expectation and pride. And it hits the bar. Pandemonium at White Hart

:11:42. > :11:47.Lane. It is a penalty. It is 2-0! That is in! Spurs are back in it.

:11:48. > :11:53.The bodycheck and a penalty. Spurs have turned this around. It is

:11:54. > :12:01.headed in by Garry Thompson! Wycombe Wanderers are back in front. Dele

:12:02. > :12:05.Alli! And Heung-Min Son has got the winner! Heartbreak for Wycombe

:12:06. > :12:09.Wanderers and Spurs go marching on. It was a little bit of a scare in

:12:10. > :12:12.the last round against Wycombe Wanderers and you have named a

:12:13. > :12:16.strong team today. How much has that played a part in trying to ensure a

:12:17. > :12:22.less stressful way to the next round? It is never sure to go to the

:12:23. > :12:32.next round. Before you need to respect the opponent. And we have

:12:33. > :12:36.chosen a starting XI that we believe is the best to go to the next round.

:12:37. > :12:41.It is true that it was very stressed game against Wycombe and it was

:12:42. > :12:45.difficult in the last few minutes but we are here now and we need to

:12:46. > :12:54.try to give our best and win the game. We have a big opportunity to

:12:55. > :12:59.go to the quarterfinals and it is true that first of all we need to

:13:00. > :13:05.play well, better than Fulham, and to try to score goals and be better

:13:06. > :13:13.than them. You start Harry Kane today, any risk given the injury he

:13:14. > :13:16.picked up? Sometimes it is too difficult, who is playing, to rest

:13:17. > :13:25.player, because we have a lot of games ahead. We came from a very

:13:26. > :13:31.busy schedule but I think today the players that will be on the pitch,

:13:32. > :13:37.because we believe they are fresh and can play and cope with the 90

:13:38. > :13:42.minutes. In football always can happen everything but we decide to

:13:43. > :13:49.put this starting XI because we believe there is no risk for

:13:50. > :13:52.anybody. He started the year with seven wins, subsequently only two in

:13:53. > :13:57.the last six, struggling for form and goals, two away wins in the last

:13:58. > :14:02.14. They need to dig in. What is missing? He has been messing around

:14:03. > :14:07.with the formation of a little bit. He went to three at the back and I

:14:08. > :14:11.enjoyed it but I don't think he did it for defensive reasons, I think it

:14:12. > :14:15.was for attacking reasons because you get that width and it allows

:14:16. > :14:20.Erickson, Kane and Dele Alli to play a lot closer to each other. When

:14:21. > :14:29.they are close beautiful things happen -- Eriksen. Kane is making

:14:30. > :14:32.runs and Dele Alli is a huge threat. Danny Rose is not playing today but

:14:33. > :14:37.Kyle Walker can give you this width as well and it is just natural. What

:14:38. > :14:45.I have seen recently with Spurs, they play with a 4-2-3-1 and Harry

:14:46. > :14:52.Kane can get isolated. Dele Alli is not in the areas where he can

:14:53. > :14:56.influence it and drag the defenders away. When Abby Kane doesn't have

:14:57. > :15:01.those bodies around him, it tends to be easier to mark him -- Harry Kane.

:15:02. > :15:05.The last two games, especially Liverpool and Genk, they have got

:15:06. > :15:08.too close to him and taken him out of the game. I would love to get

:15:09. > :15:13.your opinion of Harry Kane, what do you make of him? I think he is now

:15:14. > :15:20.Mr Spurs, he is the Talisman, the guy upfront and like Jermaine says,

:15:21. > :15:23.with Dele Alli and Eriksen, he is completing the triangle. They are

:15:24. > :15:29.training a lot in between each other how to play and the way they link

:15:30. > :15:33.with each other is natural. They understand how to play football. Do

:15:34. > :15:39.you see him as a top-class goal-scorer? He is becoming one. The

:15:40. > :15:45.way he is wanting to score goals, this is what he wants to do. And for

:15:46. > :15:50.me, if he wants to become one of the best, he's in the right place and I

:15:51. > :15:51.think the coach is very good with him and he will develop to be one of

:15:52. > :16:05.the best. Quick prediction for you? I'm going

:16:06. > :16:14.to say a Fulham win. I'm going to go for a draw. How do you see it going?

:16:15. > :16:22.Two attacking site. It will turn around for Spurs today, I'm

:16:23. > :16:33.expecting 3-1 for Spurs. Commentary from Kevin Kilban and Guy Mowbray.

:16:34. > :16:39.COMMENTATOR: It feels like spring is on the way. In six weeks' time the

:16:40. > :16:42.Oxford and Cambridge boat crews will be racing past this famous ground on

:16:43. > :16:49.the River Thames and it is good to have full -- Fulham back in the

:16:50. > :17:00.spotlight after three seasons out of the Premier League. It's all about

:17:01. > :17:06.continuing in the Cup. With League 1 and the championship already

:17:07. > :17:12.represented in the sixth round draw. Harry Kane's Tottenham will be keen

:17:13. > :17:17.to be in that draw too. They haven't reached the quarterfinals since

:17:18. > :17:25.2012. Spurs with such a proud FA Cup history. Eight times winners but not

:17:26. > :17:29.since 1991. Only Manchester United and Arsenal have lifted the most

:17:30. > :17:41.famous trophy in football on more occasions. Kevin is alongside me.

:17:42. > :17:46.Kevin, it has a real quirky feel, Craven Cottage, one of the stranger

:17:47. > :17:50.walks out onto the field a professional can take. Yes, a great

:17:51. > :18:02.ground, the atmosphere is generated here so it is very different.

:18:03. > :18:12.Wonderful views of the Thames, Craven Cottage and west London. No

:18:13. > :18:29.coats needed today. It is a surprise to some that Harry

:18:30. > :18:39.Kane was passed fit to play today. He tweaked his knee on the Europa

:18:40. > :18:44.League game on Thursday. Pochettino has gone really big with his Spurs

:18:45. > :18:58.selection this afternoon and that is really good to see.

:18:59. > :19:03.A peculiar feature of Craven Cottage that the players have to walk right

:19:04. > :19:08.across the field before they take their places in front of the stand

:19:09. > :19:13.for the pre-match ritual of the handshakes. Nobody seems to shake

:19:14. > :19:18.hands properly any more, have you noticed that? Yes, I'm not sure

:19:19. > :19:25.about it, you want a proper handshake, a manly handshake. Let's

:19:26. > :19:39.take a look at the line-ups then. Fulham have Marcus getting in goal

:19:40. > :19:45.as per the last two rounds. It is a particularly exciting front line of

:19:46. > :19:58.power and pace, all out of Africa. Nigerian international, Sone Aluko,

:19:59. > :20:12.28 today. Neeskens Kebano, named after the Dutch international

:20:13. > :20:26.Neeskens. Harry Winks has just signed a new contract until 2022.

:20:27. > :20:42.Son, Ali And Kane all in good scoring form.

:20:43. > :20:56.These are the players waiting in the wings. Much attention on Fulham's

:20:57. > :21:01.Ryan Sessegnon, born in 2000, doesn't that make you feel old!

:21:02. > :21:16.Harry Kane wearing the armband for birds today. Tom Kearney his

:21:17. > :21:25.opposite number on the other side -- Cairney. I think we will settle for

:21:26. > :21:34.a five goal thriller, if the two site will oblige. It is going to be

:21:35. > :21:42.Spurs in their change colours of all gold to get the action under way.

:21:43. > :21:48.And all London clash of west versus north, it is championship against

:21:49. > :21:51.Premier League, and after Lincoln City and Millwall yesterday, maybe

:21:52. > :22:02.there is something in the air for Fulham as well. Slavisa Jokanovic

:22:03. > :22:07.might have been taken aback by the strength of the team facing his. You

:22:08. > :22:16.mentioned Harry Kane supposedly carrying a slight knock but it shows

:22:17. > :22:20.how seriously Mauricio Pochettino is taking it. Of course Fulham

:22:21. > :22:25.themselves very strong this season, going well in the championship, so

:22:26. > :22:29.it will be a big test for Spurs here today. Scoring goals which Spurs

:22:30. > :22:59.over the last few weeks have stopped doing.

:23:00. > :23:08.Odoi kept it successfully away from Dele Alli. The full-back caused the

:23:09. > :23:14.first rays in noise from the supporters today with that foray

:23:15. > :23:20.forward. It will be interesting to see, the two full-backs from

:23:21. > :23:25.Tottenham do like to get forward. Trippier has been in excellent form,

:23:26. > :23:31.it will be interesting to see how Fulham can stop both Tottenham's

:23:32. > :23:45.full-backs today. That was won by Trippier and out for Fulham throw.

:23:46. > :23:55.Ayite. Another one for Scott Malone to throw back in. Ayite comes back

:23:56. > :23:56.to collect and with the help of Trippier wins the ball back for

:23:57. > :24:11.Spurs. Blocked by Trippier. Great reaction,

:24:12. > :24:23.immediately on the front foot trying to get the ball back.

:24:24. > :24:29.Harry Kane took too long making his mind up what to do next but Spurs

:24:30. > :24:43.are into the tackle is just as quickly and cleanly as Fulham have

:24:44. > :24:54.been so far. Denis Odoi gets the ball away. He knew he had the pace

:24:55. > :24:58.to match the Tottenham winger. That will be a Fulham free kick. That's

:24:59. > :25:02.what we were speaking about, how high they play as full-backs.

:25:03. > :25:15.Trippier will be looking to get forward. Slavisa Jokanovic has been

:25:16. > :25:19.in charge of Fulham since the end of 2015. A Chelsea player spent two

:25:20. > :25:26.years at Stamford Bridge and was an unused substitute in the 2002 FA Cup

:25:27. > :25:33.final. Here is Eriksen, found by Ali and that was goal bound book for

:25:34. > :25:42.Bettinelli getting sharply down to save it. Looking for support from

:25:43. > :25:50.Tim Ream as he goes for the ball. It was a good save from Bettinelli. I

:25:51. > :25:58.think the reaction from Malone was too late. Tottenham Hotspur corner.

:25:59. > :26:19.Eriksen is the taker. Eriksen in Trippier's Way, nearly

:26:20. > :26:26.felled his own team-mate. Trippier is on it again now, Tim Ream up and

:26:27. > :26:33.clear. A bit of composure from Trippier, he beat the first man with

:26:34. > :26:41.a cross, which he should be doing. Dele Alli... And that cannot have

:26:42. > :26:48.been far away. Just past the post. A little bit of nervousness creeping

:26:49. > :26:51.in Fulham's back four at the moment, a little bit disorganised. No one

:26:52. > :26:58.took the initiative to clear the ball properly which is why the

:26:59. > :27:06.cautious strike from Dele Alli. Two good chances from Spurs in a couple

:27:07. > :27:12.of minutes now. It seemed like a bit of a messy start, players chasing

:27:13. > :27:16.the ball around, but it is entertaining for it. It is, they are

:27:17. > :27:25.playing open and expansive, Fulham at the moment. It goes straight to

:27:26. > :27:29.Bettinelli. That's the move we have seen often from Tottenham,

:27:30. > :27:33.immediately the left winger coming in off the left-hand side and

:27:34. > :27:42.looking for the diagonal ball to be played into him. Eriksen, it is

:27:43. > :27:48.Malone who jumped with him and won the ball for Fulham.

:27:49. > :28:13.It is a Tottenham throw despite Kebano's claims to the contrary.

:28:14. > :28:19.Davies crosses to deep for Harry Kane, straight behind. It was only

:28:20. > :28:26.really Harry Kane in the penalty area. Pochettino has remained

:28:27. > :28:30.philosophical despite losing the last two games, after an 11 game

:28:31. > :28:37.unbeaten run they were disappointing at Liverpool last Saturday. He never

:28:38. > :28:41.seems to get too ruffled, doesn't get too excited with winning or too

:28:42. > :28:46.disappointed with losing, the Argentinian. He came into the

:28:47. > :28:47.Premier League first of all with Southampton and doing a great job

:28:48. > :29:12.here at Tottenham. Thrown in by Odoi. Looking for

:29:13. > :29:18.Cairney to take the initiative. He's a good player, and he's developed

:29:19. > :29:23.into a leader here at Fulham. There was talk of a move in the January

:29:24. > :29:32.transfer window to Aston Villa and Newcastle, John Chim -- championship

:29:33. > :29:35.rivals. He had to go home to establish himself. When he went to

:29:36. > :29:39.Blackpool he did so well, this move to London has been great for him.

:29:40. > :30:06.Not sure about his dress sense but he's certainly a talented player.

:30:07. > :30:25.Lifted by McDonald but straight to Vorm.

:30:26. > :30:35.Alli just outside the box, Son at the back and Denis Odoi has go ahead

:30:36. > :30:39.behind. Excellent football initially from Davies making the run forward

:30:40. > :30:50.but it is too easy to play through the Fulham central midfield before

:30:51. > :30:53.they got it out wide. Christian Eriksen to go to the other side to

:30:54. > :31:04.take the next Spurs corner. It is in by the Dane and flicked

:31:05. > :31:13.goalwards and it nearly came to Vertonghen. Kebano was the quicker.

:31:14. > :31:16.Trippier had no option other than back to Michel Vorm. A couple of

:31:17. > :31:22.difficult moment for Fulham to deal with. Callers have caused problems

:31:23. > :31:30.for them and they have to sort them out. -- corners.

:31:31. > :31:46.Son is on the move but too soon. It is brave from Fulham, Odoi knows

:31:47. > :31:47.that Son has the run on him. Good organisation centrally, initially

:31:48. > :32:04.from Kalas. Malone was looking for Kebano and he

:32:05. > :32:07.has forced Alderweireld into a rare error. Sometimes as a lone striker

:32:08. > :32:12.you just have to make the run and try to cause an error as he has

:32:13. > :32:16.done. Good centre forward play but no communication between

:32:17. > :32:22.Alderweireld and Vorm in goals. It is only his fifth start for Fulham,

:32:23. > :32:27.he had left the bench ten times and scored one goal which was in injury

:32:28. > :32:35.time to seal 3-2 win against Wigan last weekend. Disappointing corner

:32:36. > :32:39.from Johansson but this is Malone to get past the challenge and shoot.

:32:40. > :32:45.Vorm had it covered but you might ask questions about how Scott Malone

:32:46. > :32:51.could get that close. Very easy to skip past Son. A poor challenge. But

:32:52. > :32:57.he didn't really look confident and it was a bit under his feet to try

:32:58. > :33:11.to get power into the strike. He has scored four goals from left-back

:33:12. > :33:17.this season. That was deflected but easily for Bettinelli. They seem to

:33:18. > :33:20.be getting some joy down the right-hand side and the movement of

:33:21. > :33:29.Eriksen and Trippier is causing problems.

:33:30. > :33:40.Bettinelli seeking out Odoi. Cairney against Wanyama, Aluko has been

:33:41. > :33:45.caught and Aluko and Cairney, both former Hull City players and both on

:33:46. > :33:51.the floor. It was Wanyama on Cairney initially.

:33:52. > :34:03.Tom Cairney is the player about whom concern is greatest here. I just

:34:04. > :34:08.wonder if maybe Wanyama's boot caught him on the way down. There

:34:09. > :34:17.was certainly no clash of heads. Yes, it is a nasty one for Cairney.

:34:18. > :34:30.Not much Victor Wanyama could have done about that.

:34:31. > :34:41.Antonio Conte has made the short trip across to watch his west London

:34:42. > :34:44.neighbours in action. You never know, he might face one of these

:34:45. > :34:46.teams in the next round. And he is always at Craven Cottage. Richard

:34:47. > :35:11.Osman. Fulham free kick to be taken by the

:35:12. > :35:17.Belgian, Odoi, or maybe not. Johansson took over. Cairney is back

:35:18. > :35:22.on the field and chasing down Ben Davies.

:35:23. > :35:30.Johansson playing it through towards Kebano and Alderweireld had it

:35:31. > :35:38.covered. He had the run on Kebano and he read the danger quickly.

:35:39. > :35:57.Eriksen through to Harry Kane. Tim Ream across to try to stop him. It

:35:58. > :36:05.wasn't played at quite the right time for Eriksen. I think they will

:36:06. > :36:09.find themselves doing that a lot today, going back towards the own

:36:10. > :36:15.goal, Fulham as they tried to squeeze a high line. The movement of

:36:16. > :36:18.Son and Alli and Eriksen coming of the right, those three players can

:36:19. > :36:24.take advantage of that. Nice touch from Dele Alli. It breaks for

:36:25. > :36:52.Johansson. Ream has asked Malone to get on his

:36:53. > :37:04.right but he couldn't find the pedals. Eriksen a cross to Harry

:37:05. > :37:14.Kane! He stretches to score! Harry Kane, the Tottenham captain, scored

:37:15. > :37:20.his 17th goal of the season. Never mind the knee injury, he has looked

:37:21. > :37:25.sharp from the start. And it is the Spurs number ten who makes it Fulham

:37:26. > :37:30.0- one Spurs. Great awareness from Kieran Trippier who knows that

:37:31. > :37:36.Malone is advanced of Eriksen and it is a great ball across the six yard

:37:37. > :37:41.box. It looks like a tap in but he is on the stretch and it is

:37:42. > :37:47.difficult to control. It wrong-foot Bettinelli and it is a brilliant

:37:48. > :37:50.goal from Spurs, superbly worked. The last time these teams met, in

:37:51. > :37:56.the Premier League almost three years ago, Harry Kane scored the

:37:57. > :38:00.second of three Spurs goals and two of them came after Eriksen at free

:38:01. > :38:03.kicks and look at Dele Alli in here and he ought to have done better. He

:38:04. > :38:09.brought it down but could not get his feet sorted for the finish. That

:38:10. > :38:14.is that high line I spoke about that Fulham are playing. If they can time

:38:15. > :38:17.those runs correctly... A brilliant ball from Alderweireld but he could

:38:18. > :38:26.not quite get the strike away. Spurs are per ring now. -- purring.

:38:27. > :38:34.All of the noise is coming from the end away to the right, the away end,

:38:35. > :38:39.at Dele Alli is in again but he was offside this time and Fulham had to

:38:40. > :38:42.sort this out otherwise they could be steam-rollered. They are playing

:38:43. > :38:47.a high line and there is no pressure on the ball and you can't be that as

:38:48. > :38:50.a back four. What a touch but he is so unlucky dummy did not get his

:38:51. > :38:57.left foot on it to get a decent strike. Fulham a bit too passive and

:38:58. > :39:06.allowing Alderweireld or Wanyama too much time on the ball.

:39:07. > :39:12.And in the opening 17 and a half minutes we have seen white Slammies

:39:13. > :39:20.Jokanovic's team score a lot of goals in the Championship but also

:39:21. > :39:24.why they ship a few -- why Slavisa Jokanovic's team. The three-man

:39:25. > :39:33.midfield they have got... Here is Wanyama. The ball wouldn't keep up

:39:34. > :39:41.with him. Vorm is invited to come for that by Alderweireld. Even

:39:42. > :39:47.Wanyama now has the confidence to step forward. McDonald, Johansen and

:39:48. > :39:51.Cairney are not getting near to their opponents in midfield and

:39:52. > :40:01.Wanyama is finding it easy to get on the boil and dictate play.

:40:02. > :40:46.Kenny was closed down by Wanyama but got it away quickly. -- Cairney.

:40:47. > :40:52.Spurs are convincing play and forcing the error. The overhit pass

:40:53. > :40:58.was down to the pressure being put on the players. Vertonghen deals

:40:59. > :41:08.with the pressure well, as does Wanyama.

:41:09. > :41:17.Vorm and that was messy! He has redeemed himself, just about, but he

:41:18. > :41:21.very nearly gifted Fulham the leveller. And you fancied Tom

:41:22. > :41:29.Cairney on his left foot in that position. Bettinelli will cut that

:41:30. > :41:34.out. Michel Vorm has to cut that out. It was sloppy. There is no need

:41:35. > :41:40.to do it, no need to take that chance. Tom Cairney knew he had to

:41:41. > :41:44.hit it first time, he was under pressure but it was a good reaction

:41:45. > :41:52.from Vorm after the initial mistake. You could see it happening with that

:41:53. > :41:55.short passing. Trippier wanted the ball but Vorm knows if he opened his

:41:56. > :42:11.feet he will get caught out initially.

:42:12. > :42:17.That was cleared by Kalas, looking for Kebano, and Alderweireld has to

:42:18. > :42:22.put it out and there is a decent response from Fulham going forward.

:42:23. > :42:25.Kebano has done well at couple of times, forcing errors but they are

:42:26. > :42:45.trying to goad into him direct too early at times. -- go into him.

:42:46. > :42:57.Malone's cross is stopped at source by Eriksen. It is a big plus for

:42:58. > :42:59.Pochettino to get the Tango and -- Vertonghen back alongside

:43:00. > :43:05.Alderweireld. When they are together, Spurs look much the better

:43:06. > :43:10.side. Eriksen trying to scurry away from Ayite out. We have seen that a

:43:11. > :43:17.few times from him and Kebano, they don't mind chasing back to win the

:43:18. > :43:23.ball. The same with Sone Aluko on this nearside. Beautifully taken by

:43:24. > :43:31.Harry Winks. Eriksen out to Trippier. Looking for Harry Winks

:43:32. > :43:35.and it was just behind him. Bettinelli had a guard in the form

:43:36. > :43:39.of Tomas Kalas. He is quick to get it away. Amelie times have we seen

:43:40. > :43:42.that movement from Spurs, starting by Ben Davies into midfield and a

:43:43. > :43:47.lovely touch by Harry Winks to take it away from Tom Koenig but Trippier

:43:48. > :44:03.is always free on the right-hand side -- Tom Cairney.

:44:04. > :44:11.The game still has a lovely, open feel about it midway through the

:44:12. > :44:41.first half. Eriksen has found room again.

:44:42. > :44:48.Dele Alli quickly out of Eriksen and now Trippier. He tried to pull it

:44:49. > :44:54.back for Dele Alli, Scott Malone had come back for Fulham. Could Dele

:44:55. > :44:57.Alli have made the run and try to get across the six yard box? It was

:44:58. > :45:03.difficult for Trippier to pull it back through the bodies. Stefan

:45:04. > :45:10.Johansen has slid right through Kieran Trippier and it is a Spurs

:45:11. > :45:11.free kick. He is the key player, Trippier is getting forward and he

:45:12. > :45:28.is finding acres of space. He had no real contact with Trippier

:45:29. > :45:35.but he's been excellent, a great option for Pochettino. Over midway

:45:36. > :45:39.through his second season at the club, and this is only his 30th game

:45:40. > :45:43.for Tottenham. Plays in the clubs generally. This is a long way out

:45:44. > :46:04.but it won't discourage Eriksen. The captain being very precise with

:46:05. > :46:09.his wall building, just encouraged Kebano to close the gap. There is

:46:10. > :46:17.Eriksen straight into the wall, the second time he gets bounced past it

:46:18. > :46:21.but not the accuracy, not his best. Difficult to get pays from that sort

:46:22. > :46:33.of distance as well. Very confidently done by Tim Ream. Given

:46:34. > :46:37.away to Kane. He finds Eriksen, and Eriksen has blazed it. That needed a

:46:38. > :46:42.bit of composure, something he's normally chock full of. Careless

:46:43. > :46:47.giving the ball away, he's been sloppy at the start of this game,

:46:48. > :46:53.Cairnie. He's not being his usual assured self on the ball. As soon as

:46:54. > :47:01.he takes that touch, good awareness from Kane to see that Eriksen is

:47:02. > :47:13.free. As soon as he's touched it, the angle is taken away from him.

:47:14. > :47:22.Odoi pushed by Winks, Fulham free kick. Slavisa Jokanovic does not

:47:23. > :47:25.hang about, he will make changes before half-time if he feel things

:47:26. > :47:31.are going away from his side. He did it in the week, he took off the

:47:32. > :47:39.Icelandic defender, Sigurdsson, he's not even on the team sheet today.

:47:40. > :47:44.The essential things you need to do, whether it's a personal change or

:47:45. > :47:54.whether he changes the system, but three in midfield, that triangle

:47:55. > :48:04.behind Harry Kane of Dele Alli, Son causing so many problems. They are

:48:05. > :48:10.having a field day. It was a 16-year-old Ryan Sessegnon who

:48:11. > :48:16.scored in the last two rounds. Goodness me, he does look young. His

:48:17. > :48:19.twin brother Stephen is actually in the Fulham under 18 side and they

:48:20. > :48:44.beat Spurs 3-0 on Friday afternoon. Davies looking to find Son. He does

:48:45. > :48:53.well, and he does find Son eventually.

:48:54. > :48:59.This time Davies getting forward again, it's the awareness of

:49:00. > :49:05.Alderweireld, he has the ability to hit that pass as well. Wanyama has

:49:06. > :49:12.had three grabs at him, couldn't stop him, eventually blocks. He

:49:13. > :49:18.thought about going for a free kick once or twice in that move, but

:49:19. > :49:25.never quite had the advantage. I think he would have wanted that free

:49:26. > :49:36.kick. Fulham open again. Dele Alli taking on Tim Ream. Winks' finish is

:49:37. > :49:39.academic, the flag is up. It won't count for anything. Excellent for

:49:40. > :49:47.Dele Alli out wide, waiting for the run of Kane, biding his time,

:49:48. > :49:48.getting his head up. The decision from the assistant and a good save

:49:49. > :50:14.as well from Bettinelli. A beautiful ball into Dele Alli who

:50:15. > :50:20.has waited one for Kane. Not quite the Harry Kane glitzy finish we are

:50:21. > :50:25.used to seeing though. It is far too easy. The space Dele Alli is finding

:50:26. > :50:36.himself in, they are far too open, Fulham. The angle slightly against

:50:37. > :51:05.him. London town looking splendid, as is Craven Cottage.

:51:06. > :51:21.Vertonghen has to quickly go through his gears to get their -- there

:51:22. > :51:34.first. Yes, he looks so good. Now he looks for Son and if Son gets there,

:51:35. > :51:45.that is one heck of a pass. Son looking to combine with Eriksen.

:51:46. > :51:52.Winks, every time you see him he looks that little bit more assured

:51:53. > :51:56.than the last time. Yes, he's getting better and better. Still a

:51:57. > :52:01.limited amount of Premier League starts but getting better. These

:52:02. > :52:07.sort of games as well will help him regain his confidence. 20 years old,

:52:08. > :52:14.the captain of the England under 20 side, now a regular in the Spurs

:52:15. > :52:19.squad and he will be for some time. He takes the ball in tight

:52:20. > :52:23.situations, the ability to skip away from defenders. They have fitted in

:52:24. > :52:25.love later this Tottenham side. I still think they missed a trick not

:52:26. > :53:01.giving him squad number 40. Room a little ahead for Kane who

:53:02. > :53:06.gets the deflection, wins Spurs corner and something has to change,

:53:07. > :53:12.otherwise Spurs will run away with this FA Cup tie. It is McDonald is

:53:13. > :53:17.alone sitting midfielder. We have to get your hands and alongside

:53:18. > :53:20.McDonald's to try to cope with the threat of Dele Alli and Eriksen

:53:21. > :53:22.because they are causing problems and McDonald cannot do the job of

:53:23. > :53:45.both players. Wanyama, all the time in the world

:53:46. > :53:55.to get it under control. It is just too easy. Vertonghen happy to spread

:53:56. > :54:13.the play and take a different route round.

:54:14. > :54:23.Cairney down, no foul, the referee didn't think there was anything

:54:24. > :54:28.wrong with the challenge. Dele Alli looking for Son and it is well

:54:29. > :54:35.behind him. Takes a lot to get the Fulham crowd booing like that. Yes,

:54:36. > :54:36.they felt it was a foul on Cairney. Dele Alli gets behind Fulham's

:54:37. > :54:55.defence. McDonald is down after a brush with

:54:56. > :55:01.Harry Kane, and the referee will have to stop the play because

:55:02. > :55:13.McDonald is holding his head. It was unintentional from Harry Kane.

:55:14. > :55:25.Just caught him with the flat of the hand as he tried to get away.

:55:26. > :55:33.McDonald is OK. Ryan Sessegnon, getting himself ready. He has

:55:34. > :55:46.already played 17 first-team games for Fulham. They will restart with a

:55:47. > :55:52.drop. Kebano has been invited by the referee to give the ball all the way

:55:53. > :56:07.back to Michel Vorm. Kevin McDonald patched up and back on the field for

:56:08. > :56:09.Fulham. It is better from Ream. As soon as they break that initial

:56:10. > :56:31.line, there is no real press from Fulham. The flag up against Son. So

:56:32. > :56:36.far, so comfortable for Mauricio Pochettino. It is too much for some.

:56:37. > :56:43.Alan Pardew is a regular at Gander Green Lane. It's often forgotten

:56:44. > :56:56.that he actually played for Spurs for a few games, the summer of 1995.

:56:57. > :57:56.It is not exactly flowing from Fulham but not going away. It is a

:57:57. > :57:59.game winner, pushing bodies forward. Tottenham inviting pressure, then

:58:00. > :58:05.they can move so quickly with the pace they have got. Davies just had

:58:06. > :58:09.his ankle tapped and that will be a Spurs free kick. That's where they

:58:10. > :58:15.have been quite poor, Fulham, when they got into those areas in the

:58:16. > :58:27.final third. The torches let them down, the final balls let them down.

:58:28. > :58:39.Kallis safely back to Bettinelli. -- Kalas. Just over 8 first half

:58:40. > :58:45.minutes to go. The manager will want to get them organised, change a few

:58:46. > :58:50.things in the system, I'm sure. Don't forget you can catch up with

:58:51. > :58:54.all of the weekend's FA Cup action with highlights tonight at 10:30pm

:58:55. > :59:04.on BBC One, then the fifth round comes to a close with Sutton United

:59:05. > :59:12.against Arsenal. The draw is at 630 PM tomorrow. At the moment it looks

:59:13. > :59:31.highly likely that Spurs will be in that draw. Fired towards Kebano. He

:59:32. > :59:33.is so isolated, Kebano. Quality is lacking but Alderweireld and

:59:34. > :59:39.Vertonghen can deal with any straight ball to them easily. Malone

:59:40. > :59:59.puts the ball out of play. Eriksen. He had got past Malone and

:00:00. > :00:04.was upended. Spurs' free kick. Eriksen will no doubt take it

:00:05. > :00:11.himself. Just makes that little shift away look so effortless. Great

:00:12. > :00:17.feet, hasn't he. Malone has found it difficult, isolated one-on-one with

:00:18. > :00:24.Trippier. He's not had too much help from Ayite in front of him.

:00:25. > :00:30.Fulham have brought everybody back to defend this. Even Vertonghen is

:00:31. > :00:37.on the edge of the box, it is only Ben Davies that is still back.

:00:38. > :00:48.Eriksen to find the right ball. He hasn't done and the clearance from

:00:49. > :00:49.Aluko. Johansen has set off. Are you take was dispossessed all too

:00:50. > :01:13.easily. -- Ayite. Dele Alli tried to trick the ball

:01:14. > :01:19.through for Eriksen but another Spurs corner. You feel the second

:01:20. > :01:23.goal is to come for Spurs. If nobody is prepared to put themselves on the

:01:24. > :01:25.line and go and make a challenge, it is easy for Wanyama to build that

:01:26. > :01:48.attack again for Spurs. Something different from Christian

:01:49. > :02:03.Eriksen and across from Trippier. Kalas flicked it clear.

:02:04. > :02:09.Michel Vorm was having a bit of a wander. Better from Fulham, they got

:02:10. > :02:15.themselves reorganised and were able to press at the right time. Kebano

:02:16. > :02:16.has been isolated but he was able with the support behind him to go

:02:17. > :03:03.and start that press. Not close enough to Harry Kane.

:03:04. > :03:15.Hammered out of play. Kevin McDonald with the no-frills clearance.

:03:16. > :03:23.Kebano was shoved off the ball by Vertonghen.

:03:24. > :03:33.Enough on that for Ream to find Bettinelli. I'm looking for the

:03:34. > :03:37.reaction from the Fulham players, it was too easy for Ben Davies to pick

:03:38. > :03:42.it up and find Dele Alli in so much space. Bettinelli gives it straight

:03:43. > :03:47.to Harry Kane and Johansen helps out his goalkeeper. He owes him a pint.

:03:48. > :03:57.Sloppy from Bettinelli, it was far too risky. Out towards Ayite but the

:03:58. > :04:04.flag is up. The assistant referee was standing right behind him. They

:04:05. > :04:09.got away with it here, Bettinelli. It was a good reaction from

:04:10. > :04:16.Johansen. He gets himself back old side. There doesn't seem to be any

:04:17. > :04:19.real fire about Fulham. I was lucky enough to be at Millwall yesterday

:04:20. > :04:25.and there could not be a greater contrast. Exactly. It is too easy in

:04:26. > :04:30.midfield, no pressure on young Vertonghen. We have said it

:04:31. > :04:33.throughout the first half, Fulham have been far too passive. That was

:04:34. > :04:42.better from Denis Odoi and twice. Aluko did well under pressure from

:04:43. > :05:00.Wanyama but now Odoi is too casual. The contrast, Spurs without the ball

:05:01. > :05:12.and Fulham, Spurs are so good and effective at winning it back.

:05:13. > :05:28.Son played that into a crowd. Easy cushion from Alderweireld to Son.

:05:29. > :05:34.Eriksen takes on Malone and leaves him behind easily. He went for goal

:05:35. > :05:38.that was blocked by McDonald's. A difficult chance, Son had made a

:05:39. > :05:42.great run from the edge of the area and it Eriksen gets his head up it

:05:43. > :05:46.is a freak strike on goal for Son but it was good skill out right -- a

:05:47. > :06:09.free strike. You have a feeling at the moment

:06:10. > :06:12.that Slammies Jokanovic will want half-time to come quickly so he can

:06:13. > :06:21.fire a bit of a rocket up his players. Totally. Mis-hit by

:06:22. > :06:26.Trippier. How many times that ball, played into Wanyama to easily so he

:06:27. > :06:31.can turn. Eriksen come off the right-hand side, he then frees up

:06:32. > :06:36.Trippier down the right and that move it excellent to see but Spurs

:06:37. > :06:42.should be able to find a way to counteract that now. You get the

:06:43. > :06:48.feeling right now that the only thing is going to beat Spurs it if

:06:49. > :07:07.it becomes too easy for them. Nice footwork from Johansen.

:07:08. > :07:22.Vertonghen was off balance. This is Kebano and Aluko. There is Johansen!

:07:23. > :07:27.He hit it hard enough but it was always straying wide. The first

:07:28. > :07:31.mistake Vertonghen has made. A little off-balance and he couldn't

:07:32. > :07:36.deal with it but it is better from Fulham. Aluko looking to drive

:07:37. > :07:40.Vertonghen into the area and it is a decent strike and better from

:07:41. > :07:47.Fulham. They have to take advantage of those situations. Remit stays

:07:48. > :07:56.ahead of Kane and there was a little push. -- Ream. Was that a natural

:07:57. > :08:01.bump and barge between these two? He has slipped as well. A slight hand

:08:02. > :08:04.on him but he was almost going over from the slip. A lucky break for the

:08:05. > :08:19.native of St Louis. Tim Ream formerly of Bolton,

:08:20. > :08:23.actually made his Bolton debut five years ago yesterday, curiously

:08:24. > :08:30.enough, at Millwall in the FA Cup, one of the teams of the weekend.

:08:31. > :08:40.There is Tim Ream. He just managed to get it away. Something for Fulham

:08:41. > :08:47.before the break! That was Ayite. And now Aluko. His effort is on

:08:48. > :08:52.target but straight at Vorm. Better from Fulham right on the whistle. A

:08:53. > :08:57.brilliant ball in from Malone, excellent from Tom Cairney initially

:08:58. > :09:00.and yet the awareness. He knows that Aluko and Dybala had gone off site

:09:01. > :09:05.and what a ball that is and he should be doing better. The

:09:06. > :09:10.follow-up from Aluko is comfortable but it was better from Fulham in the

:09:11. > :09:16.closing stages. And just up until that flurry, comfortable is the word

:09:17. > :09:21.but it is only Fulham 0-1 Tottenham Hotspur.

:09:22. > :09:26.In this FA Cup, particularly this weekend, we have seen some teams

:09:27. > :09:31.from lower leagues playing well against Premier League teams but in

:09:32. > :09:37.this you can see the Gulf between them. Spurs have been different

:09:38. > :09:40.class altogether. It shows you why teams should play their stronger

:09:41. > :09:44.teams in these games because it has almost been like a training

:09:45. > :09:48.exercise. A bit of confidence, your striker gets an important goal. It

:09:49. > :09:53.goes from what has been a terrible couple of days with the earlier

:09:54. > :09:56.games, Liverpool and Ghent, and now Harry Kane scores, the team is

:09:57. > :10:02.playing well, it has been a good first 45 minutes. Fulham have let

:10:03. > :10:07.them go the way they are set up and with such a high line. They have

:10:08. > :10:12.played some good football, Spurs. They do but I think Fulham makes it

:10:13. > :10:17.difficult for themselves, trying to play from the back which is how

:10:18. > :10:21.every body plays these days but they forget sometimes they are playing

:10:22. > :10:26.Spurs. They are not playing a weak team. They think it will be easy for

:10:27. > :10:29.them but it's not because the Tottenham player are smart and they

:10:30. > :10:31.anticipate the game and that is how they score. Let's have a look at the

:10:32. > :10:41.first goal. It was some good football. It

:10:42. > :10:47.started with the throw in, Harry Kane does what he does best but have

:10:48. > :10:52.a look at this, the left-back switches off. Eriksen makes the run

:10:53. > :10:57.and he senses the space to run into. It is such quick thinking from

:10:58. > :11:02.Trippier. He put it into the space, and a fantastic finish. And Kalas

:11:03. > :11:06.switches off for a moment, he can see the throw in being taken in by

:11:07. > :11:10.the time he react it is too late and Kane has an easy finish. I suppose

:11:11. > :11:13.in many ways, the one thing in Fulham's favour is that they are not

:11:14. > :11:20.out of it because they could easily come Spurs had lots of chances to

:11:21. > :11:27.score. And I think if they have a chance to score, Fulham, but it will

:11:28. > :11:31.be if Spurs make a mistake. Tottenham is the better team and

:11:32. > :11:38.Fulham have a problem on the left side of the team which most of the

:11:39. > :11:41.danger of comes from. Any time Dele Alli and Eriksen and Kane are in

:11:42. > :11:47.close proximity, things are happening. I am so surprised at how

:11:48. > :11:52.high this Fulham line is. It seemed to be bringing them to life. That

:11:53. > :11:56.ball and that touch from Dele Alli, it was just a shame he could not get

:11:57. > :12:00.the contact with his left. The amount of times we're seen the

:12:01. > :12:06.centre halves playing that ball, numerous times. Bags of chances.

:12:07. > :12:09.There have been and it has been disappointing for Fulham. We talked

:12:10. > :12:12.about the high line, they do not have much pace at the back,

:12:13. > :12:17.particularly not at centre-half, to deal with Kane and Alli getting in

:12:18. > :12:23.behind and that has been obvious with those chances. It has been

:12:24. > :12:26.balls over the top or in behind. We met their problem down the left

:12:27. > :12:33.which has given a lot of freedom to Kieran Trippier who does deliver a

:12:34. > :12:37.ball on most occasions. He is a striker's dream. Most of the touch

:12:38. > :12:41.it is one ball and it is delivered, he rarely cuts back onto his left

:12:42. > :12:46.unless he has too. You can see the space and he gets the ball in and

:12:47. > :12:51.players can make their runs off that. Him and Eriksen seemed to have

:12:52. > :12:56.a real understanding. There are a few balls and that left-hand side

:12:57. > :12:59.has been exposed. This has been on and Eriksen can deliver and as long

:13:00. > :13:06.as you have runners, that time Kane was not on. But you can see his

:13:07. > :13:14.influence on the first half. Exact the what Dimitar was saying. And I

:13:15. > :13:17.know you appreciated people on the wings when they delivered the ball

:13:18. > :13:22.in early because you can time your run. You can see in the first goal,

:13:23. > :13:26.it is all about the past. What else can you want from a player like

:13:27. > :13:33.this? Harry Kane was in the position he plays but the pass was precisely

:13:34. > :13:38.the way it should be. That is white Eriksen is the main player for the

:13:39. > :13:43.first half. Trippier is doing well going all around but Eriksen is the

:13:44. > :13:45.man who makes the difference. We have talked about Fulham trying to

:13:46. > :13:50.play out which they can probably get away with in the Championship but

:13:51. > :13:55.against a team that presses as well as Spurs, it has often not worked.

:13:56. > :14:00.They started brilliantly and you watched them and thought, this team

:14:01. > :14:04.can really pop it around. It is a mixture between what Dimitar and

:14:05. > :14:09.Mark were saying, they are playing a bit too high and yes it looks great

:14:10. > :14:15.when it comes off and they linked up well and they are able to have that

:14:16. > :14:18.composure and create opportunities. But you have to remember they are

:14:19. > :14:22.playing against Spurs and they will set traps and wait for them to make

:14:23. > :14:26.a mistake and when they do, look how many Spurs players there are. They

:14:27. > :14:33.get it to Eriksen eventually and he will not miss too many of those if

:14:34. > :14:34.you keep giving them to him. Again, the goalkeeper overplaying it. It

:14:35. > :14:41.was a poor touch. The only disappointing thing for

:14:42. > :14:45.Spurs is that it is not three or four. Watching the keeper trying to

:14:46. > :14:48.play out, it is an interesting aspect of the modern game that

:14:49. > :14:51.keepers have to play out from the back but we saw an example at the

:14:52. > :14:55.other end when Michel Vorm got himself into trouble. It is all

:14:56. > :14:59.about finding that balance. I understand you want to play out as

:15:00. > :15:02.much as you can and it important, particularly for the way a lot of

:15:03. > :15:07.these teams are set up. Spurs do it all the time but you will have

:15:08. > :15:11.mistakes and this was purely because he is forced. Rather than putting

:15:12. > :15:16.his foot behind it. Do it next time, you don't have to do it every time.

:15:17. > :15:19.It is different for goalkeepers now. As youngsters, they have to be able

:15:20. > :15:25.to play with their feet whereas in my day certainly add not even that

:15:26. > :15:29.long ago, keepers would, they were not very good footballers. That's

:15:30. > :15:36.right and some would say that is why we let in goals! And you're daft,

:15:37. > :15:39.obviously! But you would be surprised how many are still not as

:15:40. > :15:42.good with their feet as they should be and the way the game has evolved,

:15:43. > :15:46.it is going that route and people want the goalkeeper who is like an

:15:47. > :15:51.outfield player. But ultimately he still has to save goals.

:15:52. > :16:00.Tomorrow evening on BBC One we have arguably the most anticipated tie of

:16:01. > :16:05.the FA Cup, Sutton United hold Arsenal at Gander Green Lane. Sutton

:16:06. > :16:10.are synonymous with the FA Cup after producing one of the great upset in

:16:11. > :16:16.1989, a day Matthew Hanlon will never forget. I was 22 at the time,

:16:17. > :16:24.working as a bricklayer. A big fan of The Jam, I liked scooters and

:16:25. > :16:28.that sort of stuff. I lived and breathed football, used to come in

:16:29. > :16:33.from work straight down here and train on Monday night. It certainly

:16:34. > :16:37.hasn't changed much. The players were from different backgrounds,

:16:38. > :16:42.different businesses. Some were bankers, some were commodity

:16:43. > :16:47.brokers. I remember joining the club and talking to Barry Williams about

:16:48. > :16:52.what he achieved. I believe he was an English teacher, famous shots of

:16:53. > :16:55.him in the dugout. The draw was bittersweet, we were hoping for

:16:56. > :16:59.Arsenal or Manchester United, someone like that, and we drew

:17:00. > :17:05.Coventry. I didn't realise till we thought about it, hold on, they are

:17:06. > :17:13.third or fourth in the top-flight. The day itself we changed routine

:17:14. > :17:18.slightly and changed on the rack out the back and I don't think anything

:17:19. > :17:26.went right. COMMENTATOR: It is a big day for the club... It was pretty

:17:27. > :17:31.packed, pretty rocking, and we scored the first goal. I remember

:17:32. > :17:38.following Tony, he headed towards the cameras which was the shout

:17:39. > :17:45.before the game. The left-back is the hero for Sutton for the time

:17:46. > :17:49.being at least. David Phillips goes to him behind me actually. And

:17:50. > :17:56.Phillips has put Coventry City level. We played as well as we did,

:17:57. > :18:00.managed to scrape some half chances and eventually won a corner. I

:18:01. > :18:11.started my ROM from back out here. The ball came through some people

:18:12. > :18:16.and the rest is history, as they say. At that point there was

:18:17. > :18:23.obviously a real chance that there was a shock coming and we were just

:18:24. > :18:28.going to go on and win. The last 15 minutes we just held on the deal

:18:29. > :18:34.life and how they didn't equalise or score a winner, I will never know.

:18:35. > :18:39.And there it is Sutton United at the GM Vauxhall Conference have put out

:18:40. > :18:45.Coventry City, winners of the FA Cup themselves less than two years ago.

:18:46. > :18:51.I remember getting carried away with the fans on the pitch, heading over

:18:52. > :18:55.towards my girlfriend, wife now, where she was standing with my

:18:56. > :19:02.sister and her boyfriend. Even then I don't think we realised what had

:19:03. > :19:10.just happened. We had probably all of the press at my mum and dad's on

:19:11. > :19:16.the Sunday and Monday. The BBC had been on the phone and we were needed

:19:17. > :19:21.on the Wogan show that night. It's obviously been an enormous part of

:19:22. > :19:25.my life. I would like to think it's been an enormous part of Sutton's as

:19:26. > :19:33.well. I wouldn't want to swap any of it for anything. Great story, cannot

:19:34. > :19:37.wait. Fifth round, Sutton Arsenal, magical. We are back at Gander Green

:19:38. > :19:46.Lane from 7:30pm tomorrow night and it promises to be a special FA Cup

:19:47. > :19:47.evening. Before that 5 Live has commentary on Blackburn versus

:19:48. > :20:03.Manchester United. You have got until midnight tonight

:20:04. > :20:07.to sign up for the people's Cup, the National five-a-side competition.

:20:08. > :20:14.Let's go pitch side now. We are with the Fulham fan who led the opening

:20:15. > :20:19.to hour show today. Richard Osmond beside me, Fulham fan

:20:20. > :20:27.for life. The beautiful setting but what is it you love about being a

:20:28. > :20:30.Fulham fan? We are very quirky club. No one is accidentally Fulham

:20:31. > :20:34.supporter, you don't support them for the glory but it is a lovely

:20:35. > :20:39.team, amazing fans and it's the best ground in the country. It deserves

:20:40. > :20:45.Premiership football. We can show them how we play, though we haven't

:20:46. > :20:50.so far. Let's get to the game, a few nervy moments but you are just one

:20:51. > :20:55.goal behind. People have talked about clubs disrespecting the FA Cup

:20:56. > :21:00.and I'm annoyed Spurs haven't done it. They've come out with Harry Kane

:21:01. > :21:05.and Dele Alli, what are you supposed to do? We are playing well but you

:21:06. > :21:10.look at Vertonghen and Alderweireld, they are so fast, we cannot play our

:21:11. > :21:15.possession football or play at speed but we are good team and I'm sure

:21:16. > :21:19.Slavisa Jokanovic will talk to them at half-time and we will come out

:21:20. > :21:28.all guns blazing. We know he can make changes quickly, what can

:21:29. > :21:31.Fulham do to bring this back? Well Kebano is a terrific player but

:21:32. > :21:35.doesn't have the speed to get past that centre pairing. What we really

:21:36. > :21:39.want in the last ten minutes, bring Scott Parker on and then the whole

:21:40. > :21:43.crowd can get on their feet and cheer him. We are used to seeing you

:21:44. > :21:49.calm and composed in the television studio, what are you like as a

:21:50. > :21:53.football fan? If we score, you will see me not calm and composed but it

:21:54. > :21:57.is so nerve wracking but this game is a treat and it's great to have

:21:58. > :22:06.this sort of football back at the Cottage. Enjoy the second half if

:22:07. > :22:11.you can. Come on, you Whites. I love that line, how dare Tottenham not

:22:12. > :22:16.this respect Fulham! We all had a giggle when he said it, and it is

:22:17. > :22:19.actually nice to see they are not, they are putting out a strong team

:22:20. > :22:25.and respecting the Cup. Jose Mourinho has been adamant about

:22:26. > :22:28.that, not disrespecting the Cup, and it is nice Pochettino hasn't done

:22:29. > :22:32.that. I'd like to take this opportunity to ask what you are up

:22:33. > :22:38.to, you're not playing anywhere at the moment, are you? Is it finished

:22:39. > :22:42.for you? Hopefully not, I'm still trying to find a team if you want to

:22:43. > :22:50.say it like this because I still feel good, I train and keep fit.

:22:51. > :22:55.Message to managers, coaches, chairman everywhere, he's available.

:22:56. > :23:05.He can play a bit. You don't need pace, do you? It's all in the head!

:23:06. > :23:09.Where do you think, Premiership or championship or other countries, I'd

:23:10. > :23:16.guess it depends where you want to play. It is all about football, you

:23:17. > :23:21.just want to play and enjoy it a bit more. I see players my age still

:23:22. > :23:27.playing, Scott Parker is an example. What's he like to play with,

:23:28. > :23:30.Jermaine? For me personally, he is a dream because I used to love running

:23:31. > :23:36.forward and he used to give me this looks as if to say get on your bike,

:23:37. > :23:44.I will find you. Some of my best memories and best goals were through

:23:45. > :23:49.this man passing me the ball. Fulham are just coming out first, Tottenham

:23:50. > :23:55.behind them. What can he change to get them back into this? Maybe the

:23:56. > :24:00.solution is bringing on someone like Chris Martin, put him up front, try

:24:01. > :24:07.to pin Vertonghen back, get the players out wide and in behind them

:24:08. > :24:12.again. 1-0 down is not a disaster. Forget about the first half, move

:24:13. > :24:21.forward, try to change things, maybe bring Martin on. And Tottenham more

:24:22. > :24:30.of the same, I imagine? As I say, Fulham need to pay attention to the

:24:31. > :24:36.left side of their team. They can play more secure and then have a

:24:37. > :24:39.chance to score that way. Spurs will be disappointed they haven't been

:24:40. > :24:45.more clinical and that's what they will be looking to improve on. The

:24:46. > :24:48.second half now back with the commentators.

:24:49. > :24:53.COMMENTATOR: No changes made by either manager during the half-time

:24:54. > :24:58.break. Spurs in the lead but not in total control with only one goal in

:24:59. > :25:01.the game so far. These sides actually met in the fifth round of

:25:02. > :25:12.the FA Cup ten years ago yesterday here, the Spurs win 4-0. Two of

:25:13. > :25:17.those goals scored by Dimitar Berbatov. No surprise to hear him

:25:18. > :25:25.say he still wants to play football, fit as a flea. Yes, so elegant, an

:25:26. > :25:48.excellent goal-scorer. McDonald 's off-balance as he got

:25:49. > :25:53.the return pass from Sone Aluko. We are looking for that spark from

:25:54. > :25:57.Fulham. They just need to try to put Tottenham under pressure, be better

:25:58. > :26:05.with the ball, something they have been poor at in the first half.

:26:06. > :26:12.Trippier with a little too much to do. He closes down Malone. Fulham's

:26:13. > :27:13.throwing. He passes it straight out of play.

:27:14. > :27:25.In towards Kebano. It will be a Spurs ball. Better from Fulham,

:27:26. > :27:28.better start. Reaction on the ball, giving it away, I'm sure that

:27:29. > :27:33.something Slavisa Jokanovic would have spoken about at half-time. Dele

:27:34. > :27:52.Alli out of the game for a moment. Harry Kane, beaten by Kalas. Here is

:27:53. > :27:54.Eriksen, all of the options are to his left, that wasn't one of them.

:27:55. > :28:13.Ayite. Kebano called for it and was always

:28:14. > :28:23.running behind the Spurs defenders. That's not a great run from Kebano.

:28:24. > :28:30.Better from Fulham. Malone unable to find many chances in the first half

:28:31. > :28:40.to get himself down the side in front of Malone.

:28:41. > :28:49.Cain tries to get to the near post, there is Eriksen. A nice comfortable

:28:50. > :28:54.save from letting. Trippier again, he's caused so many problems for

:28:55. > :29:00.Ayite in the first half. Ayite trying to get that ball through to

:29:01. > :29:04.Eriksen. It is up to Trippier to get forward on the right, they have been

:29:05. > :29:34.excellent linking up, Trippier and Eriksen today.

:29:35. > :29:49.Wanyama beaten by Odoi. Wanyama again. Given away to Kalas, the on

:29:50. > :29:57.loan Chelsea defender. Won back by Wanyama.

:29:58. > :30:08.Trippier is going again. Eriksen, a good ball in... Finished by Harry

:30:09. > :30:12.Kane and it might have finished this FA Cup tie. Difficult now for Fulham

:30:13. > :30:24.to get back into this one. The Fulham fingers are pointing at

:30:25. > :30:28.the assistant referee but he kept his flag down and Harry Kane kept

:30:29. > :30:33.his cool and gets his second goal of the game

:30:34. > :30:41.Kieran Trippier got free down the right-hand side. I think he was

:30:42. > :30:43.offside at it was -- as it was played in. A great ball from Eriksen

:30:44. > :30:54.nonetheless. I think he was just off but it was

:30:55. > :31:06.Trippier initially getting free again from Eileen -- ie take --

:31:07. > :31:13.Ayite as he has done all game. The same combination as for the first

:31:14. > :31:35.goal. It was a very tight call. And it has gone against Fulham.

:31:36. > :31:51.Spurs do have a measure of control on the tie now.

:31:52. > :32:02.Son takes on Kalas but lost control, he didn't know whether to keep going

:32:03. > :32:08.or find Eriksen. He get it back from Kalas who gets back at him with a

:32:09. > :32:15.good challenge. Johansen turned and found Cairney and Aluko looking for

:32:16. > :32:20.Kebano but only find Vertonghen. It was that straight ball that we saw

:32:21. > :32:23.in the first half and it is so easy for Vertonghen and Alderweireld to

:32:24. > :32:33.read. Kebano is very isolated upfront again.

:32:34. > :32:41.Tim Ream forcing him wider all the time and the touch was off Harry

:32:42. > :32:46.Kane to the disbelief of the Spurs skipper. I think his foot was off

:32:47. > :32:54.the pitch. This is the chance and he is just leaning offside. Sorry, his

:32:55. > :33:00.foot is on, it is very tight. Perhaps the assistant has got that

:33:01. > :33:10.right. It was the back leg of Tim Ream that was playing him onside.

:33:11. > :33:17.Spurs looked as though, after going 2-0 up, if anything they are looking

:33:18. > :33:24.to increase the pace little bit more.

:33:25. > :33:30.Davies is tripped but just outside the box, just as he was threatening

:33:31. > :33:43.to burst into it and have a chance to make it 3-0. A great run. Not the

:33:44. > :33:47.greatest challenge from Odoi. He was never going to challenge to win the

:33:48. > :33:52.ball but to barge Davies over. This is Christian Eriksen territory will

:33:53. > :33:57.stop it is a disgruntled Harry Kane who has walked away from the free

:33:58. > :34:02.kick position. He was bent down and whispering in his ear and begging

:34:03. > :34:10.him to let him have the chance to take that ball home with him tonight

:34:11. > :34:17.but Eriksen was having none of it. He has made two goals for him, it's

:34:18. > :34:23.his turn now. The shot is straight at the wall and onto the back of

:34:24. > :34:26.Harry Kane. He hasn't quite got those free kicks right today,

:34:27. > :34:31.Christian Eriksen. I think his set pieces in general have not been the

:34:32. > :34:37.best, free kicks and corners. Very unusual for him.

:34:38. > :34:46.Tim Ream just got back away with Dele Alli closing.

:34:47. > :35:12.Kalas is left down and out, Kane takes it again he didn't expect to.

:35:13. > :35:14.Kalas was looking to Bobby Madley committee felt it was a foul by

:35:15. > :35:22.Harry It almost gifted Harry Kane and

:35:23. > :35:32.other goal. I think that was a foul but a was covering. -- Odoi was

:35:33. > :35:42.covering. 16-year-old Ryan Sessegnon is about to take the field. Floyd

:35:43. > :35:48.Ayite sees his number up. Little chance for the Togolese

:35:49. > :35:51.International to get involved. Certainly not from an attacking

:35:52. > :35:55.point of view, most of his work has been tracking Kieran Trippier and he

:35:56. > :36:02.has not done a good enough job of doing that. When he scored against

:36:03. > :36:09.Cardiff City in August he became the first player born in the 2000s to

:36:10. > :36:13.score in the English leagues. He scored in the third round come also

:36:14. > :36:23.against Cardiff, and in the fourth round against Hull City as well.

:36:24. > :36:29.I think Jokanovic has recognised that is the threat, Kieran Trippier

:36:30. > :36:36.getting forward down the right and he had to try to shore up this

:36:37. > :36:46.Fulham left. Kebano is offside again.

:36:47. > :36:54.He was looking right across the line. It is a close call again.

:36:55. > :37:00.Probably onside, Vertonghen is playing him on but it was tight.

:37:01. > :37:16.Fulham might have that feeling that nothing is quite going their way.

:37:17. > :37:27.The Spurs fans are in good voice, singing about going to Wembley and

:37:28. > :37:33.they are on Thursday for the second leg of their last 32 tie against

:37:34. > :37:38.Gent, trying to do turnaround a 1-0 first leg deficit. -- trying to turn

:37:39. > :37:58.around. Son tried to beat Tim Ream but

:37:59. > :37:59.couldn't. Sessegnon on the ball again, Trippier came back to

:38:00. > :38:21.challenge. All the noise around the Cottage is

:38:22. > :38:41.Tottenham noise. Eriksen's lift and Dele Alli puts it

:38:42. > :38:46.over the top. He was being challenged as he got in there but it

:38:47. > :38:52.is the best chance Cena said today. Brilliantly worked from the

:38:53. > :39:02.left-hand side. -- the best chance he has had. It looked like Dele Alli

:39:03. > :39:06.add a simple tap in. Odoi still had the awareness and the ability to

:39:07. > :39:13.make the challenge. But the big chance.

:39:14. > :39:27.Set in Young goes past Trippier. Trippier with a decent recovery

:39:28. > :39:33.challenge -- Sessegnon. Trippier did well against the pace of Sessegnon.

:39:34. > :39:41.Stefan Johansen will take the corner. Can they fight their way

:39:42. > :39:49.back into this FA Cup tie? It is over the head of Kane, Kalas had

:39:50. > :39:58.ago. Cleared by Harry Kane. Malone has to go back to Bettinelli. It is

:39:59. > :40:02.just so notable how much better Tottenham are without the ball,

:40:03. > :40:05.putting the Fulham players under the pressure, they are able to win it

:40:06. > :40:11.back and have bodies in advanced positions when they do. Malone

:40:12. > :40:20.seeking out Johansen and he goes past Trippier.

:40:21. > :40:32.It won't open up for the shot. It is a lot busier from Fulham.

:40:33. > :40:43.McDonald this possesses Son. Fulham live here. Just a few challenges

:40:44. > :40:50.going in, something we were expecting in the first half. It

:40:51. > :40:51.seems to be the introduction of a 16-year-old that has given them a

:40:52. > :41:28.spark. Eriksen has gone darting forward,

:41:29. > :41:34.Malone went with him, side-by-side all the way. We spoke about the

:41:35. > :41:39.positions that Alli and Eriksen take up, they are forming a little

:41:40. > :41:44.triangle off Harry Kane, not staying wide but coming central and the

:41:45. > :41:50.full-backs, Malone and Odoi, don't know whether to go with them. They

:41:51. > :41:52.are trying to keep their shape but they are freeing up so much space

:41:53. > :42:06.for Alli and Eriksen to pick up. Trippier, such a good attacking

:42:07. > :42:11.option for Spurs. A good ball in but it was too close to Bettinelli. It

:42:12. > :42:44.was comfortable. Sessegnon realised Alderweireld was

:42:45. > :42:49.getting there first and he let him have it to get a corner. He is a

:42:50. > :42:53.threat not to Trippier, getting him to go back towards his own goal

:42:54. > :43:00.whereas by and large Trippier has been on the attack in advanced

:43:01. > :43:04.positions. The Fulham fans trying to rouse their team. Harry Kane heads

:43:05. > :43:17.it away. Kalas as it now but he has gone back

:43:18. > :43:23.to McDonald. And he will go back to Bettinelli, that was from a Fulham

:43:24. > :43:25.corner. It is the pressure from Tottenham, forcing Fulham back

:43:26. > :43:44.towards their own goal. The Spurs visiting contingent are

:43:45. > :44:02.enjoying their day by the river hugely at the moment.

:44:03. > :44:36.Harry Winks has been very impressive again today.

:44:37. > :44:43.The nonstop Spurs noise has brought a response from Fulham. Taken away

:44:44. > :45:06.from Eriksen by Malone. There is going to be a Fulham

:45:07. > :45:15.substitution. Sone Aluko is going off and there will be Cyriac coming

:45:16. > :45:32.on, who is on loan from Belgium. Cyriac has scored seven goals for

:45:33. > :45:37.them this season, plenty of pace about him. Trying to hold off

:45:38. > :46:03.Alderweireld, managed to do that to find care -- Cairney.

:46:04. > :46:12.Odoi macro gets it back, the touch of fortune about that, and run into

:46:13. > :46:18.Davies but Davies stopped it with his arm I think. Cairney is having

:46:19. > :46:25.more influence on the game, there is more life about Fulham. Your hands

:46:26. > :46:39.on with the chance to find a white shirt in or just outside the penalty

:46:40. > :46:45.area. -- Johansen with the chance. This will be curled inwards by

:46:46. > :46:56.Johansen, the former Celtic player. It is floated. It is Kalas, Ryan

:46:57. > :46:59.Sessegnon, they all pounced upon him. It is a Fulham fro, they will

:47:00. > :47:37.try to keep the attack going. Tottenham's turn this time. I wonder

:47:38. > :47:47.if he's going to go down the line to Cain.

:47:48. > :47:56.A seeker over the top but it only finds Alderweireld. McDonald,

:47:57. > :48:02.dispossessed by Eriksen. Dele Alli is up with him, Eriksen has easily

:48:03. > :48:10.got past the first man. Well gathered by Bettinelli, who bravely

:48:11. > :48:14.held on. He did, a couple of nutmegs. Getting caught in

:48:15. > :48:26.possession again though. McDonald did well to get back. Good

:48:27. > :48:28.goalkeeping go. So many chances for Tottenham have come about from

:48:29. > :48:41.Fulham being sloppy in possession today.

:48:42. > :48:46.Cyriac wins a corner for Fulham. He's been lively since coming on,

:48:47. > :49:04.Cyriac. Johansen in. It was met firmly by

:49:05. > :49:14.Trippier, headed out. Johansen's throw.

:49:15. > :49:23.It is Wanyama who collects and tries to storm forward, he has done that

:49:24. > :49:29.easily. Dele Alli... Wouldn't quite come to his boots. He was caught,

:49:30. > :49:36.holding his leg, Dele Alli, and Spurs have the free kick. Yes, it is

:49:37. > :49:49.the high boot from Johansen. Nasty challenge there from Johansen.

:49:50. > :49:59.Eriksen, Wanyama. Up towards Cain. Bettinelli stays at home... It is

:50:00. > :50:06.poked over the top. Excellent awareness from Dele Alli again. It

:50:07. > :50:15.is that second touch off his knee that allowed the ball to get away

:50:16. > :50:21.from him. Scored one at full stretch, couldn't get a victory goal

:50:22. > :50:28.that time. Another chance will come, I'm sure. Fulham trying to keep this

:50:29. > :50:36.alive. He stopped the threat down Tottenham's right. Fulham have

:50:37. > :50:44.plugged the gaps continuously opening down the left-hand side. One

:50:45. > :50:54.Fulham goal could really change the feel of things. Johansen. Just over

:50:55. > :51:02.the top. Chance. Kevin McDonald gets in front of Wanyama, Wanyama isn't

:51:03. > :51:07.great at marking and allows McDonald to get in front of him. He should do

:51:08. > :51:14.better really. Well over the ball, perhaps it is the little nudge from

:51:15. > :51:53.Wanyama that puts McDonald off. Clever movement from Sessegnon, it

:51:54. > :52:18.freed up Malone to get down the left-hand side.

:52:19. > :52:33.Bettinelli down the middle wanting Cyriac to challenge for it. Harry

:52:34. > :52:45.Kane, onside... Scores his hat-trick. Harry Kane seals it once

:52:46. > :52:54.and for all for Spurs. It is his fifth trouble for the team, his

:52:55. > :52:56.second of 2017 after having scored against West Bromwich Albion just

:52:57. > :53:02.over a month ago. It was a lovely ball from Dele Alli, he had a look

:53:03. > :53:06.to the linesman there, he got the awareness. But a belief in himself

:53:07. > :53:13.that when he does get free, he will score. A beautifully weighted pass

:53:14. > :53:18.from Dele Alli. He sees that his onside, then the composure and

:53:19. > :53:25.ability to slot it beyond Bettinelli in the goal. Brilliant from Harry

:53:26. > :53:31.Kane. At 23 years old, he has, as remarked by Dimitar Berbatov

:53:32. > :53:42.pre-match, he knows a thing or two about scoring goals for Tottenham,

:53:43. > :53:48.he has become their talisman. 0- three, and Harry Kane has got the

:53:49. > :53:56.lot. Just playing on the shoulder of defenders, isn't he. There was a

:53:57. > :54:04.full -- Fulham change, and it is Scott Parker who has come on, taking

:54:05. > :54:13.the place of Kevin McDonald. And Harry Kane is going to go off to a

:54:14. > :54:19.standing ovation too. They were about to make that substitution

:54:20. > :54:29.before Harry Kane scored that goal. He is onside, I think it is just the

:54:30. > :54:35.back foot of Ream playing him on. It caps off a brilliant performance for

:54:36. > :54:36.Harry Kane with his hat-trick goal. A very successful day at the office

:54:37. > :54:56.for Kane. Sissoko, the man who has come on for

:54:57. > :55:11.Harry Kane and his first action is to give the ball away to Johansen.

:55:12. > :55:15.Just a little cameo for Sissoko to play in 15 minutes. It has not

:55:16. > :55:20.really come off for him since making the move from Newcastle. No, it

:55:21. > :55:25.hasn't. More consistency from him. When he gets the chance in these

:55:26. > :56:09.games he has to do more, I feel, Sissoko.

:56:10. > :56:22.Son on the move in the middle. Eriksen, now Trippier. Spurs look in

:56:23. > :56:26.the mood for more here. Eriksen. Tries the curler and Bettinelli had

:56:27. > :56:32.his angles right, he knew where that was going. Yes, just opened up for

:56:33. > :56:34.Eriksen, trying to bend it beyond Malone, use the full-back to try to

:56:35. > :56:51.block the goalkeeper. Bettinelli out in Odoi's direction.

:56:52. > :57:09.Wanyama. Vertonghen has had a nice

:57:10. > :57:17.comfortable return to first-team action, one slip aside. Sissoko beat

:57:18. > :57:27.Malone. Cleared only as far as Winks.

:57:28. > :57:38.Cairney caught by Wanyama. That's the pressure again, all three

:57:39. > :57:45.putting Cairney under pressure. Slavisa Jokanovic will know that it

:57:46. > :57:51.is not his team's day to shine now, they can resume their push for a

:57:52. > :57:59.play-off place in the championship. A little off the pace at the moment

:58:00. > :58:03.but moving in the right direction. Slavisa Jokanovic certainly having

:58:04. > :58:07.an impact on the club, they actually have 17 points more this season than

:58:08. > :58:19.they did at the same stage one year ago. Eriksen is offside. Ironic

:58:20. > :58:23.cheers from the Fulham supporters. You just feel they haven't had the

:58:24. > :58:27.lion's share of decisions today. I don't think that's the reason they

:58:28. > :58:32.have been losing the time though. I think he's got the two big calls

:58:33. > :58:36.right as well, the decisions in these games are decided on fine

:58:37. > :58:42.margins but he's done well, the assistant referee. There is someone

:58:43. > :58:49.else who has done well, Harry Winks, replaced by a former Fulham

:58:50. > :59:19.favourite, Moussa Dembele. Dele Alli, didn't quite come off for

:59:20. > :59:30.him. Johansen. Having to go backwards. Bettinelli down the

:59:31. > :59:38.middle towards Cyriac, and he wins it too. He's quick, he's made a

:59:39. > :59:44.difference, hasn't he? Looking to stretch Alderweireld, and better

:59:45. > :59:49.quality played into him as well. Tottenham have just been too good,

:59:50. > :59:53.they have been so good in every department. Defensively excellent

:59:54. > :59:57.again. Midfield brilliant, of course, moving the ball around so

:59:58. > :00:11.freely but up front is where they have been clinical.

:00:12. > :00:14.Eriksen was just caught on his heels, I don't think he believed

:00:15. > :00:31.Davies would get there. Kebano post in the back, the foul

:00:32. > :00:38.committed by Dele Alli and a free kick for Fulham. A little bit hasty

:00:39. > :01:01.to make the challenge, Alli was desperate to win the ball back.

:01:02. > :01:07.Johansen to try to work something and find some sort of consolation

:01:08. > :01:18.for Fulham which is surely all it would be now. And what a good save

:01:19. > :01:25.but the flag is up anyway. Well held by Michel Vorm. Good goalkeeping. He

:01:26. > :01:35.couldn't really come out. A good decision from the assistant. I can't

:01:36. > :01:40.recall ever seeing a Scott Parker headed goal. There might have been

:01:41. > :01:45.one or two. And I can't recall seeing Eriksen do that too often

:01:46. > :01:51.either, and aimless ball forward. Eriksen is back to his best in the

:01:52. > :01:54.last month or two. After that performance at Liverpool last week

:01:55. > :01:59.and losing in Europe come how much did Spurs need this today question

:02:00. > :02:04.of massively. A bit of pressure on after those defeats.

:02:05. > :02:13.That is why Pochettino picked such a strong team, he was looking for a

:02:14. > :02:17.response and he certainly got it. I did like that line from Richard

:02:18. > :02:24.Osman, disappointed that Tottenham did not disrespect the magic of the

:02:25. > :02:50.They certainly haven't done that -- the magic of the cup.

:02:51. > :02:55.Ben Davies getting a run in the side of the moment because Danny Rose is

:02:56. > :02:57.still out with a knee injury but I understand it will not be too long

:02:58. > :03:32.before he returns. Sissoko tried to hold away from

:03:33. > :03:51.Sessegnon. Sissoko could not beat Malone.

:03:52. > :04:35.Parker was caught by Dembele but it breaks for Sessegnon.

:04:36. > :04:51.It has been so comfortable in these positions and not just in the last

:04:52. > :04:56.five minutes but throughout the game. Spurs have been totally

:04:57. > :04:57.dominant but no pressure on the ball at all, Fulham just haven't laid a

:04:58. > :05:21.glove on them. Miscued by Malone and a chance for

:05:22. > :05:23.another Spurs change and Dele Alli is going to miss the last five

:05:24. > :05:40.minutes or so. Just to lower the average age a bit

:05:41. > :05:50.more, 20-year-old Alli is replaced by 19-year-old Josh Onomah. A

:05:51. > :05:55.frustrated looking Dele Alli. Perhaps just disappointed he has not

:05:56. > :06:01.got on the scoresheet today. He has been very good again, creative,

:06:02. > :06:20.certainly his workrate has been unquestionable.

:06:21. > :06:32.Eriksen is offside and he knows it. Tim Ream played it out. Is there to

:06:33. > :06:39.be a fourth goal for Spurs? It is the way it goes when these teams

:06:40. > :06:45.meet in the cup, they last met in 2011 and Fulham won 4-0. Before that

:06:46. > :06:51.in the fifth round in 2007 and Spurs won 4-0.

:06:52. > :07:02.It breaks for Eriksen. The shot was smothered and it is a Spurs corner.

:07:03. > :07:03.Spurs keeping the ball in tight situations but it is that injection

:07:04. > :07:21.of pace at that time from Dembele. Eriksen's body language and the pace

:07:22. > :07:31.at which he goes about everything in the game never changes, regardless

:07:32. > :08:09.of how the game is going. Eriksen will have another corner to take.

:08:10. > :08:20.Spurs will be in this evening's quarterfinal draw. 6:30pm on the BBC

:08:21. > :08:26.News Channel, Radio 5 Live and the BBC sport website. One step closer

:08:27. > :08:47.to Wembley, which is their second home at the moment anyway.

:08:48. > :09:04.A relaxed Harry Kane, having more than done his job yet again. 19

:09:05. > :09:09.goals for the season now. It is great for Pochettino that he can get

:09:10. > :09:13.him off. We didn't think he would start today with the injury concerns

:09:14. > :09:20.they had over him. But what a difference he has made. Bettinelli

:09:21. > :09:28.clause that clear and it is behind for a Spurs corner and they really

:09:29. > :09:32.are hunting down this fourth goal. So many openings, I think it was

:09:33. > :09:40.going wide. Not sure if it was a shot or a cross from Sissoko.

:09:41. > :09:58.Eriksen's corner, Bettinelli punches off the head of Onomah.

:09:59. > :10:34.And we are into injury time and there will be another three minutes.

:10:35. > :10:42.Ben Davies beats Kebano, he cannot find Son.

:10:43. > :10:49.A good leap from Cyriac, not just quick but he has a spring in him.

:10:50. > :10:56.But just so isolated, nobody to flick it onto. The Fulham players

:10:57. > :11:02.were unable to get up in the support of the striker. Obvious

:11:03. > :11:07.disappointment for three Jokanovic tonight. Totally. -- slopey so

:11:08. > :11:27.Jokanovic. . Spurs have shown their quality

:11:28. > :11:31.right from the start. Take nothing away from them, they have been

:11:32. > :11:45.excellent, a tremendous performance. Wanyama goes past the challenge and

:11:46. > :11:52.shoots and spilled by Bettinelli. Who wants the next go? A free header

:11:53. > :11:57.for Son and he will think he should have done better and hit the target.

:11:58. > :12:01.He totally will, it is a glaring opportunity and he should be doing

:12:02. > :12:07.better. A good ball again from Trippier. He has played so well

:12:08. > :12:12.today, Kieran Trippier. He has put that on a plate for him and it is a

:12:13. > :12:19.big chance. All on his own, the South Korean. He has been in good

:12:20. > :12:23.scoring form of late. He is the player who took Spurs into this

:12:24. > :12:28.round of the cup by rescuing them against Wycombe Wanderers in the

:12:29. > :12:31.last round. They were quite fortunate to get through that tie

:12:32. > :12:35.but this has been anything but am far too easy for them and they have

:12:36. > :12:43.been excellent with the right attitude from the start of the game.

:12:44. > :12:49.It is strange how cup runs are created. Spurs were 2-0 down and 3-2

:12:50. > :12:55.down at home to the League 2 side in round four and 3-2 down going into

:12:56. > :12:59.the 89th minute but a 4-3 win brought them here. And I Harry Kane

:13:00. > :13:06.hat-trick as fired them into the FA Cup quarterfinals. It has been

:13:07. > :13:10.pretty comfortable almost from the get go for Mauricio Pochettino's

:13:11. > :13:16.Premier League big guns. Fulham did not really show us what they can do.

:13:17. > :13:20.Daniel Levy will be a very content Spurs chairman and Tottenham will

:13:21. > :13:27.not be a team that many would like to be drawn against in the

:13:28. > :13:30.quarterfinals. It is Harry Kane's day, Tottenham's day, no upset at

:13:31. > :13:40.the Cottage as Spurs march on. Pretty plain sailing for the North

:13:41. > :13:44.London club at Harry Kane clutches the match ball and he deserved it,

:13:45. > :13:51.three goals for him. He has got his scoring boots back on and in time

:13:52. > :13:56.for the second leg of the Europa League coming up. All in all, Spurs

:13:57. > :14:01.were very comfortable. Completely dominated the game can exactly what

:14:02. > :14:02.they needed after two Berry poor performances. All over the park some

:14:03. > :14:18.good displays. Best very -- very poor. There is no better way

:14:19. > :14:23.to get back in Bonn -- back in form than scoring a hat-trick. Pochettino

:14:24. > :14:26.applauding the supporters and perhaps we should applaud him for

:14:27. > :14:35.playing a strong team, a lot of benefits come from that. You are

:14:36. > :14:38.right and today, an important win and they needed it. Now they can go

:14:39. > :14:43.to the next game with confidence because they need to win again. They

:14:44. > :14:47.need to win something this season and this is a chance to do so. And

:14:48. > :14:52.for Harry Kane as well, he scores the goals and finish all the effort

:14:53. > :14:59.of the team and today he was outstanding. As for Fulham, not

:15:00. > :15:03.their day at all? No, you could see the gulf in class. No disrespect to

:15:04. > :15:06.Fulham because it is a great little club but we are putting about one of

:15:07. > :15:12.the best teams in the country. If they play their game, the lowly club

:15:13. > :15:16.have no chance. That's right and Pochettino showed his intent by

:15:17. > :15:17.playing his strongest team and it was always going to be an uphill

:15:18. > :15:29.battle for Fulham to compete. All in all they dominated all over

:15:30. > :15:33.the pitch. I would say Fulham were quite naive. They can pass the ball

:15:34. > :15:37.around but when you come against a team that does it better than you

:15:38. > :15:45.have got to find a different way. We can hear from Harry Kane and Dele

:15:46. > :15:50.Alli, I believe. No, Eriksen, I've just heard.

:15:51. > :15:54.Harry, clutching the match ball, very good match for you personally

:15:55. > :15:59.and the team. Very good, we've had a few good results recently so we

:16:00. > :16:02.wanted to come here and get the win. We have done that, played well and

:16:03. > :16:06.comfortable. Robert should have had a few more goals but it was a great

:16:07. > :16:11.game all round and we are happy to be going home with the win.

:16:12. > :16:16.Pochettino was about to bring on Sissoko before you scored the third,

:16:17. > :16:21.did you know that? I thought it was going to take me off soon, when it

:16:22. > :16:26.went over the bar I thought that was the last chance I had but luckily I

:16:27. > :16:29.was able to sneak it in before I went off. A few people will be

:16:30. > :16:37.surprised to see you started today given the injury, how do you feel?

:16:38. > :16:43.It was just about icing it, compressing it, making sure it is

:16:44. > :16:47.ready for the weekend. You mentioned Eriksen set up the first two goals,

:16:48. > :16:52.you have a great partnership with Harry upfront. Of course, we played

:16:53. > :16:56.alongside each other for a long while, we know how we should make

:16:57. > :17:01.our runs and where the ball should be. We could have scored more and

:17:02. > :17:04.passed more times but overall we are happy with the win. It was your

:17:05. > :17:09.first bit of FA Cup action today, it shows what a strong team selection

:17:10. > :17:14.can do. It was more comfortable than the Wycombe game and I'm sure you

:17:15. > :17:26.are desperate to be out there starting today. Yes, of course I

:17:27. > :17:28.wanted to play today, you want to play as many games as possible. By

:17:29. > :17:32.Carrie said, we have a few tough games, we came back luckily and I

:17:33. > :17:34.think we should have been up 3-0 in the first half but we take the win.

:17:35. > :17:40.It has been cheeky the last few games, how important could that be

:17:41. > :17:44.for confidence ahead of the rest of the season? 100%, obviously winning

:17:45. > :17:47.games gives you confidence. We go into Thursday now coming off this

:17:48. > :17:54.result, we will be buzzing at Wembley. It is never easy to open

:17:55. > :18:02.the FA Cup. We made sure we did here and we have done our job.

:18:03. > :18:06.Congratulations. Well done indeed. I hat-trick for Harry Kane, let's

:18:07. > :18:10.start with the first one. In fact the first two goals were very

:18:11. > :18:16.similar, weren't they? Yes, quick thinking from Trippier. That's where

:18:17. > :18:18.you want Harry Kane, in between the sticks. That's not an easy finish,

:18:19. > :18:29.he's reaching for it. It was a top finish. He nicely

:18:30. > :18:33.guided it in even though he was at full stretch. He didn't need to do

:18:34. > :18:38.anything, just put his foot wear and make the ball go into the net. It is

:18:39. > :18:45.all about the pass in this situation. And Eriksen has certainly

:18:46. > :18:50.been passing. This pretty much killed the game, didn't it? Similar

:18:51. > :18:56.goal. Yes, with Harry today, what he did really well was he was a typical

:18:57. > :19:01.striker, he got in the right positions and have the delivery. He

:19:02. > :19:07.needs that service and once you get that, sometimes it looks easy. Tight

:19:08. > :19:15.for offside, let's have a look. It was tight, you can see the position

:19:16. > :19:20.Eriksen is in. His foot is onside, kept himself onside. Questionable

:19:21. > :19:30.defending from Fulham, but what a ball from Eriksen. Dimitar, I want

:19:31. > :19:36.to ask you about the third goal. Some you think are certain to score

:19:37. > :19:40.and some are likely to miss and Harry Kane is one you think is

:19:41. > :19:49.likely to score. Yes, he is brilliant. The moment he sees he is

:19:50. > :19:53.one on one, he is very good at this, and it is his job to score goals

:19:54. > :19:57.like this but it makes it easier, you know, better than me, when you

:19:58. > :20:02.are striker if you have people behind you and you know when you

:20:03. > :20:07.make the run they will give you the ball. We all need that. Sometimes

:20:08. > :20:12.the striker needs to be a bit selfish like we saw in the first

:20:13. > :20:16.half couple of situations, but he scores the goals and they deserved

:20:17. > :20:23.to win. Are there certain strikers when one on one you think I'm in

:20:24. > :20:27.trouble here. Definitely, Harry Kane is one of those people that over the

:20:28. > :20:30.last couple of seasons he has scored continually goals, you know he is

:20:31. > :20:35.confident and it will be a difficult job to prevent him from scoring but

:20:36. > :20:38.you do a lot of homework as well. You are trying to tap into early

:20:39. > :20:43.signs to deal with it, but more times than not it is difficult to

:20:44. > :20:49.make the save. How good is Harry Kane, what do you see in him? What's

:20:50. > :20:52.missing from his game, what do you like about his game?

:20:53. > :21:04.It is put -- good that he has players behind him who know how he

:21:05. > :21:08.plays. Harry has these people behind him who know how he plays, he knows

:21:09. > :21:14.how they play so they complement each other so everyone makes the

:21:15. > :21:20.other one better. Eriksen is passing to him. The only communication they

:21:21. > :21:24.do is great for everyone and the team so if he continues like this

:21:25. > :21:31.he's in a great place to develop and be even better. Do you think he can

:21:32. > :21:34.be world-class? I don't know, what do you think? I sincerely wish for

:21:35. > :21:39.him because I used to play for Tottenham and I watch the team so if

:21:40. > :21:47.he gets even better, you know... I will take that as a maybe. Eriksen

:21:48. > :21:52.was hugely influential in the game, wasn't he? He was, throughout the

:21:53. > :21:57.whole game he was linking up so well with Dele Alli and Harry Kane. I

:21:58. > :22:03.suppose the only thing missing was a goal at the end of it. Little passes

:22:04. > :22:08.like that, he makes it look so easy. He just always sees the right pass

:22:09. > :22:11.as well, always in space is finding the right passes and he is one of

:22:12. > :22:14.those players that when he receives the ball, everyone else starts

:22:15. > :22:17.moving thinking they have a chance to get on the end of something

:22:18. > :22:30.because they know he can find them. Lovely passes to Son. Look at that,

:22:31. > :22:33.Dele Alli should do much better there. That was one of the

:22:34. > :22:40.opportunities winning the ball back for his side. And listen, he wants

:22:41. > :22:46.to score. He knew, I want to score, but in the end he was Man of the

:22:47. > :22:50.Match. That is a man who has been highly influential, dominating the

:22:51. > :22:56.game in the midfield areas, making sure his team are getting chances. I

:22:57. > :23:00.think for Spurs to have a successful season, to finish at least in the

:23:01. > :23:07.top four, Eriksen has to be the one that performs well week in, week

:23:08. > :23:11.out. We are just about out of time. Dimitar Berbatov, thank you for

:23:12. > :23:17.joining us and Jermaine is well of course. A quick reminder we will be

:23:18. > :23:24.back at Sutton, a magical tyke. That's it from us. Spurs are

:23:25. > :23:26.through, with Harry Kane showing he is capable of taking them all the

:23:27. > :23:31.way. Goodbye. COMMENTATOR: And all London

:23:32. > :23:41.clash of Wester versus north. Eriksen across to Harry Kane, who

:23:42. > :23:50.stretches to score. That was Johansen. Wide. A great ball in,

:23:51. > :23:57.finished by Harry Kane. One Fulham goal could really change the feel of

:23:58. > :24:02.things. Harry Kane, onside, into the goal to score his hat-trick. It

:24:03. > :24:08.I've got enemies in South Cerney, I've got enemies in North Cerney,

:24:09. > :24:11.I've got enemies in Bourton-on-the-Water.
