:01:04. > :01:08.This is where the road to Wembley begins in earnest with the draw

:01:09. > :01:13.We want you to get in touch, as always,

:01:14. > :01:18.With me is Kevin Kilbane and representatives from two teams

:01:19. > :01:24.who are in the first-round draw for the first time.

:01:25. > :01:30.from Westfields, who play in the Midland Football League

:01:31. > :01:33.the 9th tier of English Football and are the lowest ranked team

:01:34. > :01:38.And Spennymoor Town manager Jason Ainsley.

:01:39. > :01:40.Spennymoor are in the Evostik Northern Premier League Premier

:01:41. > :01:50.Welcome to both of you. Andy you have spent six matches to get to

:01:51. > :01:56.this point. It's been an almighty cup run already. How does it feel to

:01:57. > :02:02.be here? Fantastic. A long journey, started on August 6th against the

:02:03. > :02:09.Swifts and since then we have beaten St Ives down, Highgate United,

:02:10. > :02:14.Bolton Casuals and won on Saturday in an epic cup tie with the FA Cup

:02:15. > :02:17.President as well. It's been a wonderful journey and we are

:02:18. > :02:21.delighted to be here. Certainly not over yet at all. Jason first of all,

:02:22. > :02:28.thank you to your school because you are a schoolteacher and had to get

:02:29. > :02:33.off work early to come here tonight? Yes, the head was very obliging and

:02:34. > :02:40.the kids are all watching. Thank you for having me. Not a problem. How

:02:41. > :02:45.good is it for Spennymoor town to be here? 2-0 up against Telford last

:02:46. > :02:49.year, threw it away, conceded two in the last two minutes and you start

:02:50. > :02:54.to think it's not going to be the same again but we are down to ten

:02:55. > :02:57.men against Chorley for 60 minutes and we started to believe it

:02:58. > :03:02.wouldn't happen again, but to be finally here in a first round draw

:03:03. > :03:05.is what dreams are made of. Andy you are already celebrating because it's

:03:06. > :03:08.the 50th anniversary of Westfields so this is the icing on the cake

:03:09. > :03:12.isn't it, to have a special moment like this? We planned a 50th

:03:13. > :03:18.anniversary year but this wasn't on the agenda. It's fantastic for us.

:03:19. > :03:23.It started in 1966, I was only 16, a group of lads from the Westfields

:03:24. > :03:36.area of herred for, we were in awe of England winning the World Cup,

:03:37. > :03:40.Bob Moore and the others, we went out and bought the kit and we are

:03:41. > :03:45.doing a remarkable job and it's really, you know, as you say, the

:03:46. > :03:53.icing on the cake. It was never written in the script. Does this

:03:54. > :03:57.bring memories back for you, Kevin? Yes, I played against Altrincham for

:03:58. > :03:59.Preston North End. It's great moments for the professional clubs

:04:00. > :04:03.but of course for the non-league sides, it means a lot to them seeing

:04:04. > :04:11.who they are going to get in the draw.

:04:12. > :04:14.There are ten former winners in the draw,

:04:15. > :04:19.including Bolton, Coventry, Portsmouth and Sheffield United.

:04:20. > :04:21.And 8 teams who play in the 7th tier or lower,

:04:22. > :04:24.Chesham United who made the 2nd round last season before

:04:25. > :04:28.Stourbridge also got as far as the 2nd round last season.

:04:29. > :04:30.Jason's Spennymoor Town, ball number 58.

:04:31. > :04:42.Westfields, in the draw for the 1st time, ball number 62.

:04:43. > :04:45.And a number of teams are in the draw but need

:04:46. > :04:47.to win their replays Curzon Ashton, Stamford, Harrow Borough,

:04:48. > :04:57.Giant-killers Sutton United who famously knocked out Covemtry

:04:58. > :05:13.We went to Lincoln's Ashby Avenue on Saturday. This is what happened.

:05:14. > :05:16.There is a lot of excitement here. There are loads of fans here for a

:05:17. > :05:21.start, more than ever before. This is something that we dream of at

:05:22. > :05:24.this place. We are a typical non-league club, work hard

:05:25. > :05:28.behind-the-scenes, work hard on the pitch, to be here is the ultimate

:05:29. > :05:31.for us. We are in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup, the

:05:32. > :05:37.biggest trophy in the world. Fantastic. United go into this as

:05:38. > :05:42.the underdogs. An exciting cup tie... Five years ago, this club was

:05:43. > :05:45.in the doldrums. If it all stops today we have done really well and

:05:46. > :05:49.it's testament to the lads. Don't get many chances to get to the first

:05:50. > :05:54.round, probably my only chance and I'll to all I can to get there. All

:05:55. > :05:57.the guys that help out are all volunteers sohopefully we can go out

:05:58. > :06:02.today and get the win and much-needed money in the bank as

:06:03. > :06:06.well. If you brought Barcelona down today, they'd probably play and we

:06:07. > :06:11.wouldn't be scared. Spennymoor are a league above. It's going to be tough

:06:12. > :06:17.but we have a great chance. We'd just like to be in the game proper.

:06:18. > :06:22.With a new chairman, it's something that we have aspired to do. One team

:06:23. > :06:25.always does well in the north-east, usually Blythe, so hopefully we can

:06:26. > :06:30.emulate that this year. Just go and enjoy yourselves, yes.

:06:31. > :06:34.Play the game, not the occasion. A few plumbers, a few lads who work in

:06:35. > :06:38.the building trade. It's tough, non-league, we just want a bit of

:06:39. > :06:44.quality and magic Suppose, to win it for us. Armstrong, taken down. It's

:06:45. > :06:47.a penalty kick... Joseph Tate gives Spennymoor the

:06:48. > :06:55.lead. The penalty low into the bottom corner. Spennymoor are one up

:06:56. > :07:00.here. Ball over the top of the Lincoln United defence. Dawson

:07:01. > :07:17.scores! Spennymoor are 2-0 up here now.

:07:18. > :07:23.Here comes the corner from the right hand side. Armstrong is there and he

:07:24. > :07:28.scores! Buries the header into the bottom right hand corer and that

:07:29. > :07:32.must see Spennymoor through to the next round. Feels surreal. We have

:07:33. > :07:38.had many attempts, failed at the final hurdle, but today I thought we

:07:39. > :07:43.were excellent from start to finish and thoroughly deserved to win.

:07:44. > :07:47.From where they have come from, they can hold their heads up high in the

:07:48. > :07:49.sky and say yes, we have done well. Delighted for the club. They deserve

:07:50. > :08:01.it. Whoever we get it's a buzz. Jason, you certainly seemed to enjoy

:08:02. > :08:05.that as a group of players. What were your emotions like on Saturday?

:08:06. > :08:12.Relief, you know. I know what the chairman is like, he's put a lot of

:08:13. > :08:17.time and effort in. He joined the club seven years ago and puts

:08:18. > :08:23.pressure on us. He had expectations that we could go through being the

:08:24. > :08:26.favourite. It added a bit more extra fromsure, to get through was more

:08:27. > :08:30.relief than delight until the following day when it sunk in.

:08:31. > :08:33.Slightly different for Westfields because you weren't expected to win

:08:34. > :08:38.and to get through to this stage, so how much belief was there in the

:08:39. > :08:42.club that you could do it? We've gone over each hurdle as it's

:08:43. > :08:46.happened and it started on August 6th and we've just kept going. On

:08:47. > :08:51.Saturday, I thought at times the play, felt, this is as far as it

:08:52. > :08:58.will get and, as the game went on, it got better. There was 714 there.

:08:59. > :09:01.It was wonderful. When we got the winning goal with three minutes to

:09:02. > :09:07.go, everybody just took off, you know, it was amazing. The referee

:09:08. > :09:10.plays it, you know, as neigh do, seven minutes extra time, we were

:09:11. > :09:15.biting nails but when the whistle blew it was an amazing historic time

:09:16. > :09:23.for the club. The 50th anniversary as well so it's the icing on the

:09:24. > :09:27.cake, a wonderful occasion. We are getting close to the draw, who do

:09:28. > :09:32.you want? Sheffield United, Bradford, Bolton or Hartlepool for

:09:33. > :09:37.me. Andy? Choice of two because the lads and my brother supports

:09:38. > :09:42.Blackpool by the bay but Gary Bowyer, the Blackpool manager is an

:09:43. > :09:46.ex-Westfield player, so it would be lovely to play Blackpool home or

:09:47. > :09:49.away. The lads, some want to go to Portsmouth, so it would be great to

:09:50. > :09:54.go to Portsmouth. I think for what we are, we'll go anywhere, you know,

:09:55. > :09:57.the FA Cup is an occasion and we are just delighted to be in it.

:09:58. > :10:01.It's now time for the FA Cup first-round draw,

:10:02. > :10:21.Hello and welcome to the draw for the first round of the Emirates FA

:10:22. > :10:25.Cup. We've already had six qualifying rounds to get us to this

:10:26. > :10:30.point and 39 non-league clubs are still involved in the competition.

:10:31. > :10:35.They'll be joined in the hat by the 48 teams from League One and League

:10:36. > :10:39.Two. Tonight's draw will be made by two men who've both played in cup

:10:40. > :10:46.winning sides, Paul Ince and David James. Paul, you won it in 1990 and

:10:47. > :10:53.1994 with Man United. What are your memories? Just great days out. It's

:10:54. > :10:56.always been any schoolboy or kids' dreams to play in the FA Cup Final

:10:57. > :11:01.itself. To play in two finals, the first was great, it was my first

:11:02. > :11:05.time I joined Manchester United so to win the Cup Final in my first

:11:06. > :11:08.year at Manchester United was great, then to beat Chelsea four years down

:11:09. > :11:12.the line. It's a great experience. Day individual you were in goal when

:11:13. > :11:17.Pompey won it for the second time. What did that victory in 2008 mean

:11:18. > :11:22.for you and Portsmouth? For me, it meant winning the FA Cup for the

:11:23. > :11:26.third time with Arsenal, defeated twice. For Portsmouth, it was a

:11:27. > :11:30.celebration, not only for the sport as a club but a celebration of the

:11:31. > :11:34.whole community which was a magical event. Absolutely magical day for

:11:35. > :11:39.Pompey fans. Believe it or not, there are ten former winners in

:11:40. > :11:45.tonight's draw. Sheffield United and Bolton have both been successful

:11:46. > :11:50.four times, pores mouth have won it twice. Notts County, Bradford City,

:11:51. > :11:57.Charlton Athletic, Blackpool, Coventry City and of course

:11:58. > :12:01.Wimbledon, have also won it previously -- Portsmouth. Keep an

:12:02. > :12:07.eye open for Westfield, the lowest ranking team left in the

:12:08. > :12:10.competition. They are based in Hereford and play in the Midland

:12:11. > :12:14.division, they have won six games already to get to this point. There

:12:15. > :12:18.are 40 ties to be drawn. So let's make a start. Paul Ince is going to

:12:19. > :12:22.draw the home teams. David James the away teams. Paul, you are going to

:12:23. > :12:28.put the balls in the hat for us first of all. Do you trust David? I

:12:29. > :12:38.did ask him but he said he'd drop 'em all so...

:12:39. > :12:53.Lovely sound. OK. We are ready to go. So you are going to draw the

:12:54. > :12:57.first ball. Playing at home. 41. Sheffield United who lost to a 93rd

:12:58. > :13:04.minute Wayne Rooney penalty in last season's third round. United going

:13:05. > :13:08.on to win the cup. 24. Sheffield United are playing Leyton Orient,

:13:09. > :13:22.struggling in League Two at the moment. 27. Millwall beaten by Man

:13:23. > :13:32.United in the 2004 final. 43. Heading to the Den, Southend United,

:13:33. > :13:44.19th in League One. 65. Dagenham and Redbridge. 52. Facing them, FC

:13:45. > :13:57.Halifax Town of the National League North. 79. So, we have Merse than

:26:05. > :26:11.looking to get past Hemel Hempstead and face National League barrack.

:26:12. > :26:17.Northampton against Harrow Borough or Margate and then the two in the

:26:18. > :26:19.studio, Westfields, either York from the National League or Curzon Ashton

:26:20. > :26:25.from the National North, that replay will take place tonight. MK Dons

:26:26. > :26:34.from League 1, that is where Spennymoor will have to go for the

:26:35. > :26:40.first round. Bury against AFC Wimbledon. Wimbledon were winners in

:26:41. > :26:44.their old guys, Bury two times winners. St Albans from the National

:26:45. > :26:48.League South against Carlisle. Bolton in the first round for the

:26:49. > :26:52.first time since 93 after their relegation last season. They play

:26:53. > :27:02.Grimsby. Morecambe up against Coventry, the winners from 1987. Why

:27:03. > :27:09.talks -- Whitehawk have Stourbridge who made it around to last season

:27:10. > :27:10.and the winners from 1947, Charlton, play a top ranked team Scunthorpe in

:27:11. > :27:21.the competition. That is the FA Cup first round. What

:27:22. > :27:25.are your thoughts? Delighted we are at home, six home draws on the

:27:26. > :27:28.bounce now. We will relive everything we did last Saturday and

:27:29. > :27:35.Seve we can pull off another shock. It is possible. York City and Curzon

:27:36. > :27:38.play the replay tonight so whoever gets through we shall have them

:27:39. > :27:41.watched and do our homework and I'm sure Shaun Edwards and the players

:27:42. > :27:46.will be as eagerly awaiting the winners of that type as we were

:27:47. > :27:50.laced in last Saturday. I'm quietly confident, it's a good draw, it's at

:27:51. > :27:56.home. Jason, you didn't get the home draw you are looking for, you have

:27:57. > :28:00.League 1 MK Dons. That is a big challenge. Massive test but what an

:28:01. > :28:04.occasion and stadium to go to. The reward for the hard work and

:28:05. > :28:06.fantastic opportunity for the supporters to travel in numbers and

:28:07. > :28:14.witnessed hopefully another piece of history. That would be a good game.

:28:15. > :28:21.One for the purists! Good luck to both of you. What else jumps out,

:28:22. > :28:25.Kevin? Leyton Orient, decent draw, the Southend - Millwall draw and

:28:26. > :28:28.then looking down at Bury, AFC Wimbledon, Bolton at home to

:28:29. > :28:32.Grimsby, these are the draws from the league point of view, Eastleigh

:28:33. > :28:36.against Swindon, after last season, we would look at that one as well.

:28:37. > :28:41.Some good draws. The FA Cup always has financial implications as well.

:28:42. > :28:45.As the lowest league club in the competition what does it mean from

:28:46. > :28:49.that respect? It's a great day out but there is that little bonus as

:28:50. > :28:52.well. It is a huge bonus and we have earned a lot of money on the way so

:28:53. > :28:55.far which will keep the club going, not just the first team but the

:28:56. > :28:59.whole club, it is a lovely way of giving us a bonus that will keep us

:29:00. > :29:04.going through the season and setting is up for next season. We will keep

:29:05. > :29:14.living the dream of the magic of the FA Cup, it is a wonderful occasion,

:29:15. > :29:17.the money has been an extra bonus, as you say, but just being in the FA

:29:18. > :29:18.Cup alone without the money is a fantastic occasion for Westfields

:29:19. > :29:23.football club. We wish you the best. Don't forget, Mark Chapman will be

:29:24. > :29:26.here tonight for Match of the Day 2. Mark will be joined by Martin Keown

:29:27. > :29:29.and Kevin Kilbane for highlights of Liverpool v Manchester United
