:00:11. > :00:18.It'll be time for these two teams to settle it. He's going to fire

:00:19. > :00:28.towards the end zone. Looking downfield...

:00:29. > :00:34.CHEERING How did he do that? Were on top.

:00:35. > :00:52.Unstoppable! Helen Lander welcome Tuala preview

:00:53. > :00:59.show for the Super Bowl between newly Patriots and Atlanta Falcons,

:01:00. > :01:03.and where better to host this event than Houston where people reach for

:01:04. > :01:11.the stars, Texas, where football is more than just a dream, it is a way

:01:12. > :01:20.of life. Football in Texas is religion. Football is everything. It

:01:21. > :01:29.is a way of life. Every day they shut down for high school football.

:01:30. > :01:36.It does become that family where you share the highs and lows of

:01:37. > :01:45.competition. You guys going out today? You know what is going on on

:01:46. > :01:51.Sunday, right? It is all right here. No matter what happens, it is going

:01:52. > :01:53.to take you far, guys, right? All right, guys.

:01:54. > :02:13.APPLAUSE Each of these guys that are playing

:02:14. > :02:19.right now they take pride, because they love the game. They come out

:02:20. > :02:23.here on the football field and forget all that that goes on

:02:24. > :02:26.outside, because on this field, you guys of all the same, you're all

:02:27. > :02:43.together and you are all working for a common goal. On the show tonight,

:02:44. > :02:50.the half-time performer Lady GaGa struggles to keep her photo pays --

:02:51. > :02:58.poker-faced. This was the first argument between me and my bid. The

:02:59. > :03:04.Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan and as coordinator explain how their

:03:05. > :03:10.relationship was. You have got to reschedule cross. And we will get

:03:11. > :03:16.the final thoughts and predictions ahead of the big game from Jason and

:03:17. > :03:22.Ose. We go to opening night. The venue is the home of the Houston

:03:23. > :03:29.Astros. It is a chance for the board media to meet all those. And to get

:03:30. > :03:57.the week off to a successful launch. This is your team, man, and I am

:03:58. > :04:03.seeing so many guys coming up and hollering at my boy, Ose. I need

:04:04. > :04:14.you, brother. I know that you are out there, to. You have got to come

:04:15. > :04:19.down and holler. We have a special audience for you. From the United

:04:20. > :04:27.Kingdom. This is the next great pass rusher in the NFL. UK, what's up,

:04:28. > :04:34.man? You know the way to beat them, right? You have got to get pressure

:04:35. > :04:48.on that quarterback. It is all on you, bro, what are you going to do?

:04:49. > :04:51.Well, I myself, Ose is talking to his friends, everyone shaking his

:04:52. > :05:04.hands and giving him a hug. UK, this is the man. And you see me, I am

:05:05. > :05:18.just over here. You are my friend. Hello, UK, how are you guys doing? I

:05:19. > :05:21.am Mr all some! The biggest thing is ball security. Look at the turnover

:05:22. > :05:29.and away they get the ball away, superfast. We want to get the ball

:05:30. > :05:34.and get upfield as fast as possible. We are taking on one of the fastest

:05:35. > :05:49.teams. It is their speed. Who's that? Tom Brady. There is an intense

:05:50. > :05:57.focus. Two weeks to prepare. The only thing going on in my life right

:05:58. > :06:09.now is preparing for this game. Here we are outside the venue for Super

:06:10. > :06:12.Bowl LI, the NRG Stadium lit up in the back run. Congratulations on

:06:13. > :06:15.being a professional rather than just going round hugging some people

:06:16. > :06:22.in the background. I needed some friends! I was just so happy to be

:06:23. > :06:29.there. I was amongst all of my ought friends. I was in a comfortable

:06:30. > :06:34.environment. It's a serious point, the Atlanta Falcons don't just want

:06:35. > :06:37.to be happy to be here. Did you sense at media day that they were

:06:38. > :06:43.not getting carried away, that there's a job to done? It is such a

:06:44. > :06:46.young team. For a team that hasn't been there they showed tremendous

:06:47. > :06:51.professionalism. They knew exactly what they had to do. They paid me a

:06:52. > :06:55.little bit of attention but I had to see that I have a tiger that they

:06:56. > :07:02.had. These guys are ready to play. You could see it in Brady as well,

:07:03. > :07:11.you could see that focus. They see enough of me. Wow, when they came on

:07:12. > :07:16.and came on the stage, I sense something different, like this team

:07:17. > :07:21.had a different focus. It was very fine, like, fine June. We will look

:07:22. > :07:24.at the Patriots later. We will start by focusing on the Atlanta Falcons,

:07:25. > :07:32.and this is how they reached Super Bowl LI. There is no love lost

:07:33. > :07:46.secrets held between the Falcons and the Saints. 40, 45, 50, touchdown,

:07:47. > :07:53.Atlanta! Touchdown, Atlanta. Four touchdown passes in the first half.

:07:54. > :07:58.That will lock up fast. The fellows in the Black hats have gone surging

:07:59. > :08:08.into the postseason. Here we go. On the 7-yard line. With the catch, and

:08:09. > :08:16.the touchdown! Ryan throws, and touchdown. The Falcons fly to the

:08:17. > :08:21.NFC title game. I don't know if you have seen a matchup with two

:08:22. > :08:24.quarterbacks like this playing in an NFC game. It is going to take all of

:08:25. > :08:31.us, everyone together, let's get this wind. Touchdown! Mohamed Sanu.

:08:32. > :08:40.He will play through. The ball is loose. Atlanta Redfern with

:08:41. > :08:46.problems. Ryan wants to grow, Julio Jones in Green Bay territory,

:08:47. > :08:53.touchdown. I would say that they closed this house in high style

:08:54. > :09:01.today. Dan Quinn has taken Atlanta to the Super Bowl. All the attention

:09:02. > :09:10.going into this game, and it has been this week, if you watch any of

:09:11. > :09:14.the US channels, it is all about the Falcons' offense which has been the

:09:15. > :09:17.best in the NFL this season. They have turned it up another level,

:09:18. > :09:23.decimating opponents, beating them up and down the football field, Matt

:09:24. > :09:29.Bryant, Julio Jones, Devonta Freeman, they have weapons all

:09:30. > :09:32.across their field. For people who watch this one thing every year when

:09:33. > :09:38.it comes to the NFL, is that the key to this Atlanta offense that there

:09:39. > :09:41.are numerous weapons are available? Absolutely. The way that they

:09:42. > :09:44.distribute the ball and use all those weapons, and they have got

:09:45. > :09:48.comfortable with using those guys in all those different positions. But,

:09:49. > :09:54.they have to get their running game going to win this game. They need

:09:55. > :09:58.not to be one-dimensional. If they can run the ball that opens up the

:09:59. > :10:04.play action pass which Matt Ryan is great at. If they just went pass,

:10:05. > :10:08.pass, pass, that is easy for the Patriots to pick up on? Bill

:10:09. > :10:11.Belichick will not just allow them to pass, they have got to be able to

:10:12. > :10:16.run the ball and keep the Patriots defense off-balance. Lots of the

:10:17. > :10:21.Patriots will just pin their ears back and come after the quarterback.

:10:22. > :10:27.It will be a long day for them. Defensively, have the Falcons been

:10:28. > :10:31.not weak, but they have struggled? Yes, they have. A lot of it is

:10:32. > :10:37.youth. These guys have a couple of injuries early on but they have kind

:10:38. > :10:41.of gelled now and they have figured it out. They have been inconsistent

:10:42. > :10:45.and that comes from inexperience, but in the last couple of games they

:10:46. > :10:48.have dominated opponents. All of the talk has been about their offense

:10:49. > :10:55.and rightly so, because they are Dominic Thiem, but now, they are

:10:56. > :11:06.peaking at the right time. -- they are a dominant theme. We will look

:11:07. > :11:12.now at the contrast between the quarterbacks. You cannot be thinking

:11:13. > :11:15.when you up there when you're playing this position. We put in so

:11:16. > :11:20.much time and work preparing for the game so that I can go out there and

:11:21. > :11:25.be on autopilot. It is fascinating to me what you have to process. And

:11:26. > :11:31.300 people are trying to do bad things to you. Under a minute to go,

:11:32. > :11:38.32-26, Green Bay. This is the second to last day, and I am looking to

:11:39. > :11:45.make sure that these guys are in their spot. This is good design,

:11:46. > :11:52.understanding their way that this defense is setup, that these guys

:11:53. > :11:56.are basically year two double 01 Julio. Any time you have Julio

:11:57. > :12:03.Jones, you expect it to be going in his direction. It is Matt's job to

:12:04. > :12:10.see where the matchup is. Matt is a great job, and Mo saw that this guy

:12:11. > :12:21.was going to take Mo, so we throw it to Mo, but if Matt sees that, then

:12:22. > :12:25.yes to throw it to Julio. Very rarely do you get a pocket like

:12:26. > :12:30.this. Sometimes guys cannot make these throws with the back pocket,

:12:31. > :12:35.but what separates Matt from a lot of these guys is that you are under

:12:36. > :12:44.more duress. The clock starts ticking. The next play you might

:12:45. > :12:55.start a double call, you have a reschedule OY cross. Say what he

:12:56. > :13:00.just said. He changed the cam and he wanted a different play but it

:13:01. > :13:09.happens sometimes. I'm not sure what he said and which one it was

:13:10. > :13:15.supposed to be. Julio realise it is is that if you mess up one word you

:13:16. > :13:21.can ruin our play. That takes a lot of focus. Can anyone understand this

:13:22. > :13:26.who doesn't love it? When I try to explain it all, people think you are

:13:27. > :13:32.like a doctor or something. We are definitely not that. It is just

:13:33. > :13:37.football, but what does go into it. I found my jaw hitting the car park

:13:38. > :13:42.floor here when I heard that, when we watch that, just for how

:13:43. > :13:47.complicated some of these play calls are.

:13:48. > :13:54.Absolutely, you think we're big dumb guys... Big, dumb and handsome! Big

:13:55. > :13:56.dumb guys running around on the football field, you see the

:13:57. > :13:59.intricate details that go in, the play call, the things they have to

:14:00. > :14:04.know, tremendous amount of information they have to be able to

:14:05. > :14:09.cover as we saw in the video. There must have been 25 words, something

:14:10. > :14:18.like that, in that call. That Matt Ryan tried to repeat. Matt Ryan's

:14:19. > :14:23.nickname is Matty Ice and he needs to be. With that verbiage in the

:14:24. > :14:27.west Coast offence is, it can be changed to mean a totally different

:14:28. > :14:32.play if one word is out of line. One word in the wrong place, one word

:14:33. > :14:35.wrong, that messes up everything. Everybody is screwed up, everybody

:14:36. > :14:40.is like hey, what's going on? The crazy thing about those calls, each

:14:41. > :14:44.thing he says talks to a different group, one for the offensive

:14:45. > :14:46.linesman, for the receivers, one for protection, everything is a

:14:47. > :14:52.direction to those people and they have to know the exact right thing

:14:53. > :14:57.to do. Shanahan lost his playbook on media night because a journalist

:14:58. > :15:01.picked up his bag by mistake and walked off with it and for half an

:15:02. > :15:06.hour Shanahan, not surprisingly, was in a bit of a panic. I can't even

:15:07. > :15:10.imagine what was going through his head. They had the whole security

:15:11. > :15:15.team after that. The biggest weekend you lose your playbook. His head

:15:16. > :15:18.might be in San Fran from he might be in San Fran already. They jump on

:15:19. > :15:24.those plays early in the game, we know who got it! Some people have

:15:25. > :15:27.been making jokes about that. You mentioned San Francisco, Jan had

:15:28. > :15:29.world be thinking about possibly becoming head coach of San

:15:30. > :15:35.Francisco, he's had one interview. He is the head coach. But he's got

:15:36. > :15:38.to... This is firmly at the forefront of his mind. No question

:15:39. > :15:43.about that he's going to be head coach of the San Francisco 49ers,

:15:44. > :15:48.tremendous young football coach. This has to be on his mind. Let's

:15:49. > :15:50.move from the Falcons and talk about the Patriots. Here is how New

:15:51. > :16:01.England reached Super Bowl L one. Patriots underdog and is ready to

:16:02. > :16:11.wrap up the regular campaign. Touchdown! Patriots! Brady. 28

:16:12. > :16:19.touchdown passes, two interceptions. An NFL record. Comes back and plays

:16:20. > :16:23.best football ever. Welcome to Foxboro and this AFC divisional

:16:24. > :16:29.playoff between the Patriots and the Houston Texans. To the end zone.

:16:30. > :16:33.Touchdown Patriots on their way to a sixth straight AFC Championship

:16:34. > :16:38.Game. They have continued to march on. Like they have for years.

:16:39. > :16:41.Welcome to Foxboro's Gillette Stadium and the AFC Championship

:16:42. > :16:52.Game, each of these teams trying to become the first franchise to reach

:16:53. > :16:58.a ninth Super Bowl. They get them every time! High-fives for

:16:59. > :17:03.everybody. Runs it up the middle. Touchdown Patriots! Get the nails

:17:04. > :17:11.out and start sticking them in his coffin! The New England Patriots

:17:12. > :17:13.will play one more game. Tom Brady will try to earn a fifth Super Bowl

:17:14. > :17:24.championship. When talking about the Patriots, do

:17:25. > :17:28.you have to start with Belichick and Brady, is there nothing else to

:17:29. > :17:32.really begin with? For me you have to start with Bill Belichick he's

:17:33. > :17:38.the guy who stirs the drink with this straw. This is the best coach.

:17:39. > :17:41.I don't know! LAUGHTER He's the best coach in all of

:17:42. > :17:44.football, man, the best code we've ever seen. Tom Brady is an

:17:45. > :17:49.outstanding player and quarterback but for me it all starts with Bill

:17:50. > :17:52.Belichick. I agree committees in control of the organisation and he

:17:53. > :17:57.knows how guys fit in from he recruits well. He knows what guys do

:17:58. > :18:01.well. Even though there is Brady and talk Brady, their defense has been

:18:02. > :18:04.particularly strong. Absolutely, number one is stopping the run. If

:18:05. > :18:10.you stop the run, always got a chance to win. The number one

:18:11. > :18:13.defense in all of football this year. New England's usually not

:18:14. > :18:17.known for being the number one defense but this year they have

:18:18. > :18:21.taken their game to another level. Bill Belichick, this guy has coached

:18:22. > :18:24.every position, defense, friends, special teams. He brings all that

:18:25. > :18:29.wealth of knowledge together and that's what makes him such a special

:18:30. > :18:34.coach. Do you agree? I agree, I love special teams. One thing about being

:18:35. > :18:37.a special teams coach, you have to deal with everybody on each side of

:18:38. > :18:42.the ball. Offense and defense. You have to know your team. Special

:18:43. > :18:46.teams win games. He'll say defense. The most field position in one play,

:18:47. > :18:51.special teams. Whatever, I didn't play special teams. You were too

:18:52. > :18:55.busy steering the drink with a straw or something like that. In between

:18:56. > :18:58.steering drinks, he's been to meet the top man in the NFL, here is his

:18:59. > :19:06.chat with the Commissioner. Ladies and gentlemen, we have the

:19:07. > :19:10.most powerful man in the United States. Not the president. Roger

:19:11. > :19:16.Cadell, commission of the NFL, how are you today serve? This is a fun

:19:17. > :19:21.time for us, the number one defense against the border fence, two

:19:22. > :19:29.incredible quarterbacks. Sparks are going to fly. This is something if

:19:30. > :19:34.you can't enjoy it you shouldn't be in the business. Could we have a

:19:35. > :19:37.Super Bowl in London? This is something that incredibly valuable

:19:38. > :19:42.to communities when they get to host it. It's something we want to make

:19:43. > :19:49.sure cities have NFL franchises have that opportunity to bid on it and

:19:50. > :19:54.post it. It's a remarkable experience for the community. When

:19:55. > :20:00.can we expect a franchise in the UK? The one thing we've seen is every

:20:01. > :20:05.time we bring more football to the UK they embrace it, they want it.

:20:06. > :20:10.And I really got to the point now where I don't think there is a

:20:11. > :20:15.question from the fans down by Cobra commercial standpoint that a team

:20:16. > :20:22.can be successful over there. It comes back to the competitive side,

:20:23. > :20:28.can we put a team there where they really can be a competitive

:20:29. > :20:33.position, like every other club. And not at a competitive disadvantage. A

:20:34. > :20:37.brand-new franchise or team already in existence? That's part of the

:20:38. > :20:45.challenge, when you identify a team, we like 32. We want to keep our

:20:46. > :20:49.teams where they are. That's part of the challenge. How impressed have

:20:50. > :20:53.you been with the growth of the sport? Not only in the UK, but

:20:54. > :20:58.across the international boundaries? It's been exponential. It has. In

:20:59. > :21:03.our experience, when people have a chance to experience it, the best

:21:04. > :21:06.experience as you know is in the state. We've seen it with the UK

:21:07. > :21:11.fans, they are so much more sophisticated than they were even

:21:12. > :21:15.five years ago. They understand the game, the strategy, the rules. As we

:21:16. > :21:18.look at the Globe, it's really prioritising how we can reach the

:21:19. > :21:25.largest number of fans. A little-known fact, Roger Vidal was

:21:26. > :21:34.the personal cause of the first argument between me and my wife. She

:21:35. > :21:43.was like he's handsome. I was like, I can't. I know you have an

:21:44. > :21:50.extremely busy schedule. You're not only a great player, Osi, you are a

:21:51. > :21:53.great individual and make a great contribution to our game and help in

:21:54. > :21:56.escrow internationally. We are proud of you for that, thank you for that.

:21:57. > :22:04.Don't make me cry! Pass me a bucket! It made me feel

:22:05. > :22:09.queasy, the end of that. What a wonderful relationship. It's a

:22:10. > :22:16.special relationship. Move on, I don't want to talk about that. See

:22:17. > :22:19.the hatred in this man's face. But hatred, disappointment, I thought

:22:20. > :22:25.you were with us. I thought you only took compliments of us. This is your

:22:26. > :22:27.city commute played here. You are back. When you've been around the

:22:28. > :22:32.city this past week were provided by you getting? That good Houston five,

:22:33. > :22:36.they make you feel at home. They are so happy the game is here. How

:22:37. > :22:41.important is it to them to have the game? This is Texas, they feel they

:22:42. > :22:44.made football so it's very important, their second Super Bowl.

:22:45. > :22:50.The city has embraced it. It's better than the first one. They

:22:51. > :22:52.figured it out. Excited about the half-time show? I can't wait, you

:22:53. > :23:02.know who's going to be performing. Give it to me... I'll let the

:23:03. > :23:07.pictures do the talking. Here is Osi meeting Lady Gaga. My heart! My

:23:08. > :23:13.favourite is Lady Gaga, I love Lady Gaga, that's my girl, man.

:23:14. > :23:31.Hi everybody. Terry Bradshaw of Fox sports. How are you doing? I've got

:23:32. > :23:37.to tell you this is a big win for me with my grandma right now because

:23:38. > :23:40.half of my family are massive Steelers fans. She is wigging out on

:23:41. > :23:48.the couch right now watching this. Is she single, lady? Do you have any

:23:49. > :23:51.memories as a kid watching the Super Bowl half-time show is? I think I

:23:52. > :23:56.saw the half-time show before I even made the decision I wanted to try to

:23:57. > :24:00.be a songwriter. Watching Michael Jackson do the half-time show was

:24:01. > :24:04.one of the fondest memories I have. Next question from a Super Bowl

:24:05. > :24:11.champion representing NFL UK. Osi Umenyiora. Absolutely. Listen, Lady

:24:12. > :24:14.Gaga, I'm your biggest fan, I mean that literally because you know, I'm

:24:15. > :24:18.quite a large guy. I have this excellent T-shirt right here.

:24:19. > :24:22.Listen, I tried to think one of your songs on our show and I failed

:24:23. > :24:28.miserably. Could you go over those words for me so next time I do it I

:24:29. > :24:34.can be OK. I'm your biggest fan. I'll follow you until you love me.

:24:35. > :24:41.Abba. Paparazzi. There it is, thank you so much. I was worried I would

:24:42. > :24:44.need a second bucket but she looked so utterly bemused by everything

:24:45. > :24:48.going on... It's a really a press conference for her. It was really
