:01:52. > :01:58.now, Dan Brown. -- damn proud. I'm here once again with our two

:01:59. > :02:00.ex-Giants - two-time Super Bowl winner Osi Umenyiora and former NFL

:02:01. > :02:03.cornerback Jason Bell. You must be loving that New York

:02:04. > :02:09.eyes will be on London this weekend? I'm going to see a few friends, got

:02:10. > :02:12.a few dinners planned, it is going to be good. It's just a social

:02:13. > :02:25.occasion for you? That is what it is all about. I am here with the two

:02:26. > :02:33.ex-Giants, you kind of spat it out! I am here with two ex-Giants! Are

:02:34. > :02:36.you looking forward to a? Once a Giant, always a Giant. I can't wait.

:02:42. > :02:43.and if you missed the show last week you

:02:46. > :02:48.First of all tonight we are going to focus on the New York Giants with

:02:49. > :02:50.highlights of their game against the Baltimore Ravens last weekend.

:02:51. > :02:52.This game it was all about losing streaks.

:02:53. > :02:54.The Giants were suffering a 3-match losing streak,

:02:55. > :02:56.the Ravens a two-match losing streak.

:02:57. > :02:58.But what was catching the most media attention?

:02:59. > :03:00.Giants superstar reciever Odell Beckham Jr

:03:01. > :03:03.For both teams, and Odell Beckham,

:03:04. > :03:18.it was all about getting back on track.

:03:19. > :03:29.COMMENTATOR: That is Beckham, he has lost the football out of the 30-yard

:03:30. > :03:32.line. All the lovers are automatically reviewed. The ball was

:03:33. > :03:36.clearly coming out. It is whether he has possession long enough to make

:03:37. > :03:41.it a catch. That is what it will ultimately determine. After

:03:42. > :04:01.reviewing the play the ruling stands. West. Diving to the end zone

:04:02. > :04:07.for the touchdown. Manning, touchdown, Roger Lewis Junior with

:04:08. > :04:10.his first NFL touchdown. New York kicked a 31 yard field goal in the

:04:11. > :04:18.first drive of the third quarter to make it 10-10. On the side of the

:04:19. > :04:28.field, trip up, the interception is made, and the interception by Young.

:04:29. > :04:33.The Giants, what a penalty marker, there are none on the field. The

:04:34. > :04:46.Ravens went three and down after the interception to take a 13-10 lead.

:04:47. > :04:48.From his own 25. Odell Beckham junior down the sideline for the

:04:49. > :05:05.touchdown! 4th goal from Baltimore for the

:05:06. > :05:15.halfway line. West, left side, looking for the end zone, and he

:05:16. > :05:25.will get there. Casillas the first to hit him. The 52nd field goal of

:05:26. > :05:31.the day from 35 yards, and New York responded through Brown to take a

:05:32. > :05:38.4-point lead. Left side, end zone, touchdown. They had a tight end and

:05:39. > :05:42.three receivers in the game, they spread it out, ran a fake reverse,

:05:43. > :05:48.made it look like the counter on the reverse, going Beeney to block the

:05:49. > :06:05.back side and into the end zone. Manning, on the slam. There,! --

:06:06. > :06:14.Beckham! Touchdown. Odell Beckham junior, eight catches, 222 yards, a

:06:15. > :06:30.career high, and two touchdowns. And into the net, which is the holy

:06:31. > :06:33.Grail. 3rd 15. Flacco on the move, he throws it to the end zone.

:06:34. > :06:53.Incomplete. There is only one man we can talk

:06:54. > :07:00.about. We do seem to spend a lot of time talking about him, and that is

:07:01. > :07:04.Odell Beckham. We have a chat software about his antics. You said

:07:05. > :07:09.that the game had not seen anything like him as regards his off field

:07:10. > :07:15.stuff. I'm going to say something, at the risk sounding blasphemous

:07:16. > :07:23.here in the United Kingdom, there was only one Beckham now, and his

:07:24. > :07:28.first name isn't David, it is only Odell! One of the most famous

:07:29. > :07:33.athletes on planet Earth right now, he has a whole package. Charisma, a

:07:34. > :07:37.great football player, a little crazy at times but he has the whole

:07:38. > :07:41.thing working for him. The stuff that he has been doing with the

:07:42. > :07:46.chicken net, and the controversial stuff, others that detract from his

:07:47. > :07:50.undoubted ability? I think it actually helps him. You put a

:07:51. > :07:59.spotlight on what he does on the field because he does so many things

:08:00. > :08:01.off the field that makes you think, what does he do as a player, and he

:08:02. > :08:07.makes the plays that legitimise his behaviour. There was about 1000

:08:08. > :08:10.camera people watching him have a conversation with Deion Sanders. It

:08:11. > :08:16.is ridiculous thing he has achieved in such a short period of time. I am

:08:17. > :08:20.happy for him. He has earned it. When the Giants are playing at home

:08:21. > :08:26.and away, are people buying tickets simply to see him in action? No

:08:27. > :08:30.doubt about it. He is electrifying, personality wise, he is a magnetic

:08:31. > :08:35.personality, and people want to see people like that on the field. If

:08:36. > :08:40.you're a fan of an opposing team, you totally want to see this guy

:08:41. > :08:47.play. Especially in person. Would you like to be a team-mate of his?

:08:48. > :08:52.That is kind of hard. That is a tough question. With what he brings

:08:53. > :08:56.on the field, absolutely. You can forgive some of the things he does

:08:57. > :09:01.off the field because of the way he plays on the field. I have never

:09:02. > :09:06.seen a receiver be such the heartbeat of a team before, like he

:09:07. > :09:13.is. Would you be having a word with him to calm it down sometimes? Not

:09:14. > :09:15.if he is making plays like that. Is he the most charismatic,

:09:16. > :09:33.good-looking player to have ever played for the Giants? 100%! Of

:09:34. > :09:35.course not! Look how I smile. This guy is a humble guy. That is why we

:09:36. > :09:40.We can now hear from the man himself are friends!

:09:41. > :09:46.as, earlier today, he attended the press conference.

:09:47. > :09:53.You have got to come out and play the way that we are capable of

:09:54. > :09:58.playing. No matter what I do there is going to be extra attention. You

:09:59. > :10:10.have just got to go out and meet personally, do the best for my team,

:10:11. > :10:14.and everybody in the locker room knows what it is with me, how I feel

:10:15. > :10:21.about them and what I am willing to do and give for them, each and every

:10:22. > :10:28.day. And I just want to thank them. Let's pick out the significant

:10:29. > :10:33.results in week six. Washington are really on a roll and Philadelphia

:10:34. > :10:41.have lost two on the spin after that 27-20 win for the Redskins. Esbjerg

:10:42. > :10:44.surprised against the Miami Dolphins. The Buffalo Bills roll on

:10:45. > :10:50.the these comfortable win against San Francisco. Another divisional

:10:51. > :10:55.game and Oakland came off worse against Kansas City, and an

:10:56. > :11:02.impressive win for Dallas against the Green Bay Packers. And this is

:11:03. > :11:10.what all those results to to the division. When you look at the Jets

:11:11. > :11:15.and the Browns in particular, you would say that the season is

:11:16. > :11:19.virtually over for the Browns. This is a team that won ten games last

:11:20. > :11:23.year, they have a contract dispute, and he has not come back and played

:11:24. > :11:33.well at all. In that division, no coming out of that. As far as the

:11:34. > :11:37.NFC is concerned, again, picking out sides like the Bears and the 49ers,

:11:38. > :11:43.you would definitely say, but the real surprise has to be the Carolina

:11:44. > :11:47.Panthers. It is a huge surprise. They put a lot of blame on camp but

:11:48. > :11:54.that defense is not playing as good as last year. Who are surprise? I'm

:11:55. > :11:58.not surprised. You're not surprised about the Bears and the 49ers. The

:11:59. > :12:04.Bears, definitely, I thought that Jay Cutler was good to have a good

:12:05. > :12:08.year, so far he hasn't. Colin Kapaernick came in and was not able

:12:09. > :12:14.to save them and they are where they are. Let's take a look at the

:12:15. > :12:18.playoffs. Each divisional winner goes through then you have two wild

:12:19. > :12:22.Cards and depending on their records, that is how everybody is

:12:23. > :12:27.seeded, and the top two seeds in each conference get a bye into the

:12:28. > :12:33.next weekend. So in the NFC, the Patriots and Raiders would be

:12:34. > :12:37.through, the Steelers and Texans in the playoffs, and in the NFC, is

:12:38. > :12:44.anyone surprisingly at the moment in that list? I am surprised that the

:12:45. > :12:48.Redskins. You have got to give Kirk Cousins some credit, because he is

:12:49. > :12:53.bouncing back. This is early, but to be honest, this is what I expected

:12:54. > :12:57.the playoff to look like at the end of this year. Maybe not this exact

:12:58. > :13:04.order, but I thought these teams would be in the playoffs.

:13:05. > :13:08.Particularly the AFC South, a great comeback, but anyone could win that

:13:09. > :13:14.division. There is no definitive winner. Them being on top of that

:13:15. > :13:23.conference, it can happen. Let's take a look at one of the

:13:24. > :13:28.performances of the week that came from British-born Ajayi of the

:13:29. > :13:32.Steelers. They are looking for a running back, so if he can put

:13:33. > :13:36.another game like this together he might be the future for them. Is

:13:37. > :13:41.that the important thing, that another game like this comes along

:13:42. > :13:45.soon? He has had injury issues in college, so it is about his

:13:46. > :13:50.durability. If he can stay durable that could be a future for him. And

:13:51. > :13:58.we in London are looking for a running back and he could be it in

:13:59. > :14:00.this particular game. But he cannot cover for all of the Bears, because

:14:01. > :14:05.he is injured. Just one game... As this week American Football

:14:06. > :14:07.will be visiting Twickenham, the home of rugby, Osi visited

:14:08. > :14:09.New York-born England international rugby player

:14:10. > :14:13.Alex Corbisiero to talk rugby, football, and the physicality

:14:14. > :14:27.of their sports. Were at St Mary University, five

:14:28. > :14:31.minutes from Twickenham Stadium. The NFL is coming to Twickenham, the

:14:32. > :14:38.home of England rugby, something that my next guest holds dear to his

:14:39. > :14:48.heart, an outstanding player Alex Corbisiero. How are you? I'm good. I

:14:49. > :14:52.am good, I am here with you. You look like a tank, man. I am excited

:14:53. > :14:59.that the NFL is coming to Twickenham, man. I am a Jets fan.

:15:00. > :15:10.Because of that, I'm going to go extra hard on you today. You are

:15:11. > :15:16.still in excellent shape, man. I appreciate that. Apparently American

:15:17. > :15:24.football is twice as physical as rugby. How do you see that? I think

:15:25. > :15:28.that the impacts are above what we get in rugby. We get the repetitive

:15:29. > :15:34.load but you guys get a 1-shot knockout load. I've had my fair

:15:35. > :15:38.share of injuries to my knees, shoulders and bicep. I have had five

:15:39. > :15:45.knee surgeries, I have torn cartilage in my knee. So, yes. I

:15:46. > :15:51.know what I'm talking about. As a fan of the NFL, I have seen the hard

:15:52. > :15:57.knocks and how ruthless the sport can be. Guys can turn up and be cut,

:15:58. > :16:05.then they are on their own. In rugby, you have a season or so of

:16:06. > :16:09.security. It is tough. You also know at the end of the day that you are

:16:10. > :16:12.playing for yourself, and you have to go out there every single week

:16:13. > :16:18.and perform, because if you don't, you're gone.

:16:19. > :16:30.23 bench presses. It's uncharted territory. I think you're trying to

:16:31. > :16:46.set me up Alex. I think you're going to do 225, easily. Cut! That didn't

:16:47. > :16:49.happen! The sport is growing to a new audience but at the same time

:16:50. > :16:53.you've got a hard core audience of the sport as well which is the

:16:54. > :16:57.situation for you over here with the BBC. For me the biggest thing to

:16:58. > :17:02.adapt to is walking that line between not trying to insult the

:17:03. > :17:06.die-hard fans but open the game up to a new audience. How have you

:17:07. > :17:10.found that with the British audience? I just said I'd be myself.

:17:11. > :17:16.I'm going to explain things the way I do but going to have fun watching

:17:17. > :17:27.it. It's been a good time. Are you ready? Let's do it, man.

:17:28. > :17:38.Given all you've been through, all the injuries that you have right

:17:39. > :17:40.now, but you do it again? I'd have played for my country, I've won the

:17:41. > :17:47.premiership title, I'd want a Lions series, I wouldn't trade one of

:17:48. > :18:01.those experiences. Just get this last one! 23...! There it is! You

:18:02. > :18:12.got the 20 pretty easy. And then I fell off the cliff! Were you

:18:13. > :18:15.surprised at his physicality? No, because I know rugby is a physical

:18:16. > :18:22.sport. I was surprised at how big and strong he was. If he were to

:18:23. > :18:26.play American football where would he play? Defensive tackle. And if

:18:27. > :18:31.you were to play rugby where would you play? I don't know much about

:18:32. > :18:35.rugby, you tell me. I think it want to be as far away from physical

:18:36. > :18:38.contact as possible to protect those good looks! LAUGHTER

:18:39. > :18:41.Before we look ahead to the Giant's oppostion this weekend, the LA Rams,

:18:42. > :18:44.it's highlights of last nights NFC North game between the Chicago Bears

:18:45. > :18:48.A loss for the Bears would all but confirm

:18:49. > :18:50.the end of their season, but for the Packers

:18:51. > :18:52.it was about keeping the undefeated Vikings looking

:18:53. > :19:15.COMMENTATOR: It's knocked out of the hands at a lot better and six. The

:19:16. > :19:22.pressure got to him, forced that in completion. Peppers and Matthews

:19:23. > :20:12.colliding on Brian Hoyer, and he is hurt.

:20:13. > :20:32.Incomplete. And now, Kidd is gone. One and five with the flag, and the

:20:33. > :20:41.ball comes out of the hands of Rogers. And it is recovered in the

:20:42. > :20:44.end zone by Leonard Freud. He kept working and got back in action

:20:45. > :21:02.tonight. The fumble was recovered by

:21:03. > :21:07.touchdown for Chicago. The Fonte add-ons for the touchdown. He

:21:08. > :21:15.battled for it against Adams and he won that battle. To the end zone.

:21:16. > :21:28.And it is Adams again with the touchdown. The number one play, the

:21:29. > :21:46.Green Bay Packers won. 3rd 6. That is on the run. End zone, and it is a

:21:47. > :21:57.touchdown. Randall Todd, in of LeBlanc. He starts to celebrate. He

:21:58. > :22:04.is not down yet. He has got to be careful with the football. Like a

:22:05. > :22:19.wild Bronco, he is finally down at the 38. Good job on Morgan Barnett.

:22:20. > :22:29.Fighting for it, and it is picked up by Perry. He sacked his old college

:22:30. > :22:34.mate, Green Day four and two and that Bears fullback to one and six,

:22:35. > :22:42.back down to their third team quarterback tonight. It is a good

:22:43. > :22:50.match. And still I had my head down and trying to win everything. But

:22:51. > :22:55.overall, again from the top down it has been tall. Lots of passes to the

:22:56. > :22:59.offensive line up, they played really well, they give me a lot of

:23:00. > :23:02.time and the receivers did a good job of working to get open, and we

:23:03. > :23:50.just put it down field. As far as the Rams are concerned

:23:51. > :23:59.offensively, how do you see this quarterback situation? You have got

:24:00. > :24:03.to go with Case Keenem. He was getting the play from the sideline

:24:04. > :24:06.and there is a lot of in the NFL when you have to make these plays

:24:07. > :24:12.and adjustments and he's not ready yet. Why pick him and draft him in

:24:13. > :24:17.the offseason, they went high, he was number one in the draft. Why go

:24:18. > :24:21.for him if he's not ready? A little confusing but maybe they thought in

:24:22. > :24:27.the future he'd be an outstanding quarterback. To pick a guy at number

:24:28. > :24:31.one overall, you never see a guy picked number one sitting for the

:24:32. > :24:35.bench for this period of time, so he must be so far behind in that system

:24:36. > :24:40.he does not know what to do. That increases the pressure on him, and

:24:41. > :24:43.increases the pressure on the franchise. They have to be patient.

:24:44. > :24:48.It is hard to find quarterbacks. When they got their hands on them

:24:49. > :24:54.they thought we have got to take time and develop this guy. They

:24:55. > :24:57.started off strong defensively, not particularly offensively. But they

:24:58. > :25:01.have Ashley scored some points in the last couple of weeks. And it is

:25:02. > :25:07.defensively that they have been weaker. They have got some injuries,

:25:08. > :25:12.defensively. And you cannot overstate the importance of Case

:25:13. > :25:18.Keenem. Defensively, though, they are just not getting it done. And I

:25:19. > :25:23.am at the offensive guy... You look at the offensive line play there,

:25:24. > :25:27.and it has not been that good. And that coincides with great defensive

:25:28. > :25:32.play. They are just not playing good on defense, because they are not

:25:33. > :25:38.maintaining drives. Just to break that down, you are blaming the Rams'

:25:39. > :25:46.friends for the defense of problems? Because you are a defensive guy.

:25:47. > :26:00.Most good defenses have great running games. I was watching the

:26:01. > :26:06.Hard Knocks showed on the NFL and they were saying don't touch Gurley.

:26:07. > :26:12.I have never heard them saying that about a running back. A quarterback,

:26:13. > :26:19.yes. In practice, you don't touch the quarterback, but a running

:26:20. > :26:27.back,... I played with Smith, and you did not sneeze on him! He was

:26:28. > :26:31.38. He should toughen up. I didn't understand what that was. In

:26:32. > :26:33.practice, I don't touch the running back? Ridiculous. That is what this

:26:34. > :26:52.showing up on tape right now. Everything has been outstanding

:26:53. > :26:57.since our arrival here. Players are coming around now. We've put the

:26:58. > :27:06.difficult loss behind us and looking forward to the weekend. Any time you

:27:07. > :27:10.don't win, you don't accomplish all your goals, it takes a bit of time

:27:11. > :27:16.to look back and learn from your mistakes. I think we are ready to

:27:17. > :27:21.move on. We are ready to get on the practice field and looking forward

:27:22. > :27:26.to next week. It's exciting we are doing it here in London. The main

:27:27. > :27:34.goal is obviously to win the ball game. We approach each game with

:27:35. > :27:35.everything we've got. We are in good shape and looking forward to the

:27:36. > :27:46.Giants. We've just got time to look at this

:27:47. > :27:50.week's highs and lows. The Cardinals have the praline gay and whoever

:27:51. > :27:54.loses it has to go in front seat dressed to the match. Patrick

:27:55. > :28:03.Peterson lost and ended up going as a dinosaur. Marcus Mariota combining

:28:04. > :28:09.for this stunning touchdown for the Titans, with a bit of help from the

:28:10. > :28:13.opposition to get over the line. The Eagles were particularly good

:28:14. > :28:20.defensively when it came to scoring touchdowns against Washington.

:28:21. > :28:27.Wendell Smallwood with this 86 yard kick-off return. And then Malcolm
