:00:44. > :00:49.Hello and welcome to what has been another dramatic weekend in the WSL
:00:50. > :00:57.as the top four went head-to-head in the Spring Series. Coming up, can
:00:58. > :01:03.Chelsea give Liverpool The Blues when the sides meet in a
:01:04. > :01:06.mouthwatering encounter? Any slip-up from the Reds would Manchester City
:01:07. > :01:15.to rise to the summit, if they can beat Arsenal. And be dropping on
:01:16. > :01:21.Bristol City as the ambitious vixens aim to close the gap on the
:01:22. > :01:27.heavyweights of the division. Every weekend is a Bank Holiday for our
:01:28. > :01:32.guests, Rachel Brown and currently between clubs, Laura Bassett,
:01:33. > :01:37.England defender. You are working very hard, you were exhausted
:01:38. > :01:40.tonight? I have been training full-time with Birmingham, all the
:01:41. > :01:44.staff and players have welcomed me so I am thankful and I have an
:01:45. > :01:48.individual training programme from England so working closely with the
:01:49. > :01:52.medical staff to make sure I am in top condition, covering all the
:01:53. > :02:00.distances like match every three or four days. Pretty intense! Arguably
:02:01. > :02:05.tougher! Well, maybe not. We begin with Liverpool, who visited Chelsea,
:02:06. > :02:07.looking to bounce back from their defeat to the title rivals, Man
:02:08. > :02:16.City, on Thursday there were sombre scenes prior to
:02:17. > :02:20.kick-off as both teams paid their respects to the victims of the
:02:21. > :02:27.terrorist attack on Monday at the Manchester Arena, which killed 22
:02:28. > :02:32.people and injured over 100. The game went ahead at the academy
:02:33. > :02:35.Stadium after consultation with Greater Manchester Police and
:02:36. > :02:44.spontaneous applause broke out in the 22nd minute to one of those who
:02:45. > :02:46.lost their lives in the attack. Soon after, Toni Duggan scorcher tenth
:02:47. > :02:51.goal in ten games against Chelsea and that proved decisive as The
:02:52. > :02:56.Blues failed to defeat but they had an immediate opportunity to bounce
:02:57. > :03:00.back when they welcome Liverpool. And with all games this weekend,
:03:01. > :03:02.there was further pause for reflection for the victims of last
:03:03. > :03:38.weeks attack. Robyn Cowen is your commentator.
:03:39. > :03:41.APPLAUSE Chelsea will aim to give the fans a
:03:42. > :03:45.good sendoff against the league leaders in their final game before
:03:46. > :03:52.moving to Kingsmeadow for the winter series. Their hopes of winning the
:03:53. > :03:59.Spring Series suffered a load midweek, losing to Man City, Gemma
:04:00. > :04:03.Davison, Karen Carney and Ji comment and there is a first start Karen
:04:04. > :04:07.Kirby in over a year. Liverpool were held to a draw at Bristol City in
:04:08. > :04:13.the last game, two changes, Alex Greenwood has injured so first start
:04:14. > :04:15.for Eddie Fletcher and Charles comes in for a Jess Clarke, who drops to
:04:16. > :04:32.the bench. Kirby gets the pass away, here is
:04:33. > :04:40.Davison, she might have a shot, Chapman! The deflection will be the
:04:41. > :04:48.corner kick. That was good build-up play from Chelsea. There is a chance
:04:49. > :04:58.early doors for Chelsea from the set piece. And that is in! Flaherty! She
:04:59. > :05:03.almost surprised herself but just how easy that was. She had a loose
:05:04. > :05:10.connection on the header. And Chelsea are head inside three
:05:11. > :05:19.minutes! They need Liverpool. -- they lead Liverpool. Chelsea looking
:05:20. > :05:29.more dangerous on the attack, this is Dunn. 39 macro, finding Kirby.
:05:30. > :05:33.That was saved by Chamberlain, that was a tame shot from the South
:05:34. > :05:46.Korean but Chamberlain did what she had to do. Dunn ticking on Hodson.
:05:47. > :05:50.Kirby with a curled effort, and an excellent save from Chamberlain,
:05:51. > :06:03.reading that well. And she managed to turn that round the post. Kirby
:06:04. > :06:06.is closing down the pass from Coombs back to Chamberlain and Liverpool
:06:07. > :06:15.could be in trouble. Carney, away from the challenge, he is Kirby.
:06:16. > :06:21.2-0! Liverpool Masters of their own downfall. They tried to play this
:06:22. > :06:28.from the back, Chelsea would not let them. And Fran Kirby finally gets on
:06:29. > :06:37.the scoresheet, her third goal of the Spring Series, 2-0, Chelsea.
:06:38. > :06:46.Here comes Davison, great pace. And that is that happen. Ji. Wonderful
:06:47. > :06:53.run down the right hand side from Davison. Ji had all the time in the
:06:54. > :07:04.world to put that away and give Chelsea a 3-goal lead. Carney.
:07:05. > :07:13.Against Kirby. Her first game in over a year. Ji, another
:07:14. > :07:21.goal-scorer. Here is Mjelde! Terrific finish! And Chelsea Art
:07:22. > :07:27.four goals to the good at Staines. And it was not over. -- they are
:07:28. > :07:37.four goals to the good. It is certainly finished. 4-0, Chelsea.
:07:38. > :07:48.Mjelde the latest on the scoresheet. Casey Stoney, she misjudged that.
:07:49. > :07:55.Carney! Chelsea have five. Karen Carney taking full advantage. Other
:07:56. > :08:00.defensive mistake. And Chelsea are running away with this. -- and other
:08:01. > :08:19.defensive mistake. Here come Chelsea again, here is
:08:20. > :08:27.Cuthbert. And it is six! , but given too much time to turn. -- Cuthbert
:08:28. > :08:30.given too much time. And she fires in number six for Chelsea and this
:08:31. > :08:40.is getting embarrassing. For the Liverpool Ladies. Bachmann, the
:08:41. > :08:49.Swiss international, she has covered up the head. And she finds Spence.
:08:50. > :08:59.Seven nil, Chelsea. Liverpool are falling apart here. Andrew Spence,
:09:00. > :09:11.she came on as a substitute at seven: all competitions. -- Drew
:09:12. > :09:17.Spence. Decent ball, that was well defended, Coombs! Ferocious strike
:09:18. > :09:26.and a terrific save from Telford, who has very little to do this
:09:27. > :09:36.afternoon but she was sharp. Carney, still time for more. And that is off
:09:37. > :09:45.the bar, so close! Could have been number eight for Chelsea. And,
:09:46. > :09:49.mercifully, for Liverpool, the referee has drawn this to a close,
:09:50. > :09:59.and afternoon to forget for Scott Rogers and his side. Full-time,
:10:00. > :10:05.Chelsea seven, Liverpool zero. Congratulations, what a way to end
:10:06. > :10:09.here? Seven goals. This has been our home for a very long time, Staines
:10:10. > :10:14.has looked after us and we have happy memories and it was so
:10:15. > :10:18.important that the team showed that appreciation with performance on the
:10:19. > :10:23.pitch and we did everything we asked of them and more. I cannot criticise
:10:24. > :10:26.the team. I would hope everybody in the dressing room has a point to
:10:27. > :10:31.prove because we are better than that and we know we are. As we have
:10:32. > :10:35.proven in the Spring Series, we are very good side but for whatever
:10:36. > :10:40.reason we have not done it and that is all of us, we have to do better
:10:41. > :10:44.and more. We will come back stronger. This has been a very long
:10:45. > :10:49.time coming, I had another setback and it is nice to be playing and
:10:50. > :10:56.training with everyone and being involved and scoring goals. Really
:10:57. > :11:00.good. Emma Saunders with the questions, Chelsea leaving Staines,
:11:01. > :11:05.they will play at Kingsmeadow next season, that was commanding in
:11:06. > :11:11.attack, the defence was not tested? They were flawless. Players coming
:11:12. > :11:17.off back the bench and scoring, that shows the depth of what Chelsea have
:11:18. > :11:22.with the new signings they have made in the season, just building on the
:11:23. > :11:29.strength they showed last season. What about Liverpool? They did not
:11:30. > :11:34.turn up? No! They were of the pitch. -- off the pace, we can see this,
:11:35. > :11:41.the third goal. Six players in the box, they take somebody off the back
:11:42. > :11:48.post and Flaherty, that dribble of the header rolling over the goal
:11:49. > :11:53.line. This one, direct ball. That pace is always going to cause
:11:54. > :11:58.problems from Davison. And unmarked in the box. That is criminal from
:11:59. > :12:03.Liverpool, it is not that they did not have bodies around, they did not
:12:04. > :12:08.do anything defensively. This time, Bonner, there was too much pace,
:12:09. > :12:17.rolling ahead of Casey Stoney. Shooting practice for Karen Carney.
:12:18. > :12:20.Chelsea always one step ahead, always finding themselves in space
:12:21. > :12:26.but whenever any Chelsea player got the ball it was easy, they were in
:12:27. > :12:32.control of the situation. Cuthbert coming into form, that is positive
:12:33. > :12:35.for Scotland going into the European Championships and this one, the
:12:36. > :12:44.substitute, Spence, the easiest finish. Using those subs at the
:12:45. > :12:52.right time. Speaking of subs, Fran Kirby getting her first start. I am
:12:53. > :12:56.ecstatic for her. She looks like she is enjoying herself and you can tell
:12:57. > :13:01.from her team-mates, congratulating her, they have seen much he has been
:13:02. > :13:04.through but in the box, this is where she excels, always one step
:13:05. > :13:10.ahead, she knows what she is going to do, the movement is good, and she
:13:11. > :13:15.is in that box, she is so clinical, and what impressed me here, she
:13:16. > :13:20.initiates the pressure on the goalkeeper and after a couple of
:13:21. > :13:24.touches, sharp, checking her shoulders, she gets some space and a
:13:25. > :13:28.brilliant first touch and that clinical finish across. After being
:13:29. > :13:33.out for such a long time, her linkup play and awareness with team-mates
:13:34. > :13:38.seems like she has not spent any time away at all. She is playing
:13:39. > :13:42.with freedom and enjoying herself, she is in a very good place. I am
:13:43. > :13:50.pleased for her. Great to see her back. Over to you, City, that meant
:13:51. > :13:54.if Man City could extend lead 31 match unbeaten run in the WSL, they
:13:55. > :13:58.would move top of the Spring Series. Commentary comes from Lucy Ward and
:13:59. > :14:10.Adam Somerton. The third game in the space of a
:14:11. > :14:18.week for Man City. They have resisted the temptation to rotate
:14:19. > :14:23.much, just one change, Hourihan replacing Karen Bardsley. Toni
:14:24. > :14:31.Duggan is the joint top scorer in the Spring Series. Lloyd serving the
:14:32. > :14:35.second game of the three match ban. Two changes for Arsenal, they have
:14:36. > :14:42.had a week to prepare, van Veenendaal returning in the goal at
:14:43. > :14:43.the expense of Moorhouse. William is moving to the bench and Williamson
:14:44. > :14:59.moves into midfield. Good movement from Duggan. Couldn't
:15:00. > :15:10.quite get the pathway to Nikita Parris though.
:15:11. > :15:20.Megan Campbell will swing this in here for Manchester City. Seven
:15:21. > :15:27.minutes on the clock. Off the post. Eventually, Arsenal managed to do
:15:28. > :15:38.it. Great piece of improvisation from Jill Scott. She hit the post in
:15:39. > :15:47.the end. Beth Meade going down and getting the free kick. A foul by
:15:48. > :16:01.Walsh. Up steps Janssen and off the wall. I thought that was going in
:16:02. > :16:08.then, that deflection. Given away here by Houghton. It is a real
:16:09. > :16:13.opportunity this for Arsenal. I think initially there was a mistake
:16:14. > :16:18.defensively from Manchester City. Beth Meade tried but she could not
:16:19. > :16:23.get it out of her feet have a proper strike on goal. Houghton played that
:16:24. > :16:34.with power forwards. Now it is Parris. A good run from Lucy Bronze.
:16:35. > :16:40.And a touch. It could still yet to be an opportunity. Great play from
:16:41. > :16:59.Bronze. Full-back Mike Lucy Bronze will run up and beyond.
:17:00. > :17:10.The cross in towards Scott. What a ball that was from the teenager
:17:11. > :17:21.Stanway. She just could not direct it past the goalkeeper.
:17:22. > :17:28.Jordan Nobbs with the ball in. That was not far-away at all. Deflection
:17:29. > :17:39.will lead to a corner. It could be even better for Arsenal. She has got
:17:40. > :17:52.that in her as well. -- in her locker as well. A foul from Walsh.
:17:53. > :17:59.She did not need to do that, Keira Walsh. I wonder whether Jordan Nobbs
:18:00. > :18:03.might decide to fire this in as we approach the final quarter of an
:18:04. > :18:10.hour. She does just that! That is genius! Brilliant from Jordan Nobbs.
:18:11. > :18:18.Her third goal of the spring series is a special one. I think she knew
:18:19. > :18:23.she had got it in her locker to do that. A terrific strike. She
:18:24. > :18:37.thought, I have the ability to strike it.
:18:38. > :18:47.Is Manchester City's long and unbeaten run in the league about to
:18:48. > :18:51.come to an end? Duggan. Almost an immediate opportunity to reply.
:18:52. > :18:54.Terrific play by Jill Scott. She picks someone out and it is Duggan.
:18:55. > :19:07.She could not get the pace on the ball. Arsenal win at the Academy
:19:08. > :19:10.Stadium. A gorgeous free kick from Jordan Nobbs proves to be the
:19:11. > :19:14.difference. Manchester City beaten here at the league match for the
:19:15. > :19:19.first time in two years. It is difficult. We have played three
:19:20. > :19:28.games every week for two -- 12 weeks. To come here and beat
:19:29. > :19:31.Manchester City at their home, I think we are very pleased with the
:19:32. > :19:38.performance and with the players and effort.
:19:39. > :19:50.It has a nap, the WSL of going right down to the wire. What was it like
:19:51. > :19:52.for you with Arsenal? Both teams had chances, neither team could be
:19:53. > :19:59.clinical but we have seen the free kick. Jordan Nobbs stepping up, cuts
:20:00. > :20:03.across the ball, catches it with the outside of her right foot which
:20:04. > :20:08.causes the ball to swerve from left to right, and I think catches the
:20:09. > :20:16.goalkeeper off guard a little bit. She takes a little bit of a step to
:20:17. > :20:20.a right which puts her off balance. It means going to her left she
:20:21. > :20:22.misses out on a step. I think she thought she would think it to the
:20:23. > :20:26.players at the back post. But to take nothing away from Jordan Nobbs,
:20:27. > :20:31.that is a fantastic strike. Worthy of winning any game. So she should
:20:32. > :20:37.have saved it? No, it was a great strike! Did you not hear me?! As
:20:38. > :20:43.Arsenal, they showed the work rate across the pitch, it was a
:20:44. > :20:56.professional job? They showed a real maturity to the performance. The bit
:20:57. > :20:58.OT, they really believed in their game plan, they pressed it higher up
:20:59. > :21:01.the pitch, they played aggressively. They worked so hard and doubled up.
:21:02. > :21:05.They did it from the road first minute to the very last minute.
:21:06. > :21:12.Doubling up from the field, the attackers pressing, and just forcing
:21:13. > :21:17.Manchester City into errors. Man City are comfortable when they have
:21:18. > :21:19.one or two touches. We saw Beth Meade having a run at Steph
:21:20. > :21:25.Houghton. There were early signs from Arsenal additive that pressure
:21:26. > :21:31.and that pressing impacts which led Arsenal to get their chances. This
:21:32. > :21:35.is the 72nd minute and they are still pressing. City like to play it
:21:36. > :21:40.on the back and what Arsenal do again, late on in the game is force,
:21:41. > :21:44.pinned them back, forced them to go back to the goalkeeper and force
:21:45. > :21:47.them into errors. Sounds like Arsenal are doing tactically which
:21:48. > :21:54.other teams have not been able to achieve over the past couple of
:21:55. > :21:59.years, or is it as Nick Cushing says, down to fatigue? They have had
:22:00. > :22:03.a busy schedule, you cannot deny that but they are winning trophies
:22:04. > :22:07.and they are on the pedal stole to be looked at that. Teams will
:22:08. > :22:11.prepare a bit extra. They will give it more respect and they will want
:22:12. > :22:14.to beat them. As a player, the Man City players, they are very
:22:15. > :22:25.professional but they're having to get up for big games time and time
:22:26. > :22:28.again in a short space of time. I know they are all to professional
:22:29. > :22:30.and they would not want to use tiredness, fatigue. They know the
:22:31. > :22:34.schedule, they are winners. They have two more games they have to get
:22:35. > :22:39.up for, will they be there and will they win the title? They would not
:22:40. > :22:43.want anything other than to be in every competition. If you are
:22:44. > :22:48.looking at run-ins, I think the run-ins says Chelsea winning the
:22:49. > :22:51.title come the 3rd of June. If you look at the goal difference, Chelsea
:22:52. > :22:58.scored seven today, they are in double figures. As you mentioned
:22:59. > :23:03.earlier, that is as good as a point when it comes down to the
:23:04. > :23:09.nitty-gritty. You could get any one of those clubs next season, who will
:23:10. > :23:13.win it? I think there will be plot twists and twists and turns until
:23:14. > :23:17.the end of the season but I think Chelsea have the phenomenal
:23:18. > :23:22.strikeforce and I expect them to get more goals. A quick word for
:23:23. > :23:28.Arsenal, a boost after the injury for Kim Little, a shock for her
:23:29. > :23:32.ahead of the Euros? She had a little niggle in her hamstring but it has
:23:33. > :23:36.blown up. Her chance of glory with a national team has been put on the
:23:37. > :23:45.back burner for now. How long have we got left with Laura? We will try
:23:46. > :23:47.and get a club out of her. Two more matches to catch up on. Reading
:23:48. > :24:04.hosted Birmingham. Reading Women travelled but --
:24:05. > :24:10.Birmingham ladies travelled. On the stroke of half-time things got worse
:24:11. > :24:18.for Reading. Joe Potter was sent off for a straight red after this tussle
:24:19. > :24:22.with Aoife Mannion leading to all the players getting involved in the
:24:23. > :24:27.aftermath. After the break, Reading pushed forward in search of an
:24:28. > :24:39.equaliser and nearly got it. Rachel Furness' header tipped over the bar
:24:40. > :24:43.by Ann-Katrin Berger. Soon the Blues will be left regretting that myth.
:24:44. > :24:47.With just over an hour on the clock, Reading were given the love that
:24:48. > :24:51.opportunity to level things up when Abby Stringer took down Kirsty limit
:24:52. > :24:55.in the area. Lauren Bruton's penalty had enough about it to find its way
:24:56. > :24:59.into the net and level the scores. With seven minutes remaining
:25:00. > :25:10.Birmingham nearly retook the lead. Paige Williams' shot nearly made it
:25:11. > :25:14.but hit the bar. Yeovil had lost all six games coming
:25:15. > :25:17.into this one and were up against it early on when Lucy Staniforth's
:25:18. > :25:22.corner went all the way in to give the Lady Black Cats the early lead.
:25:23. > :25:31.Soon they were given the opportunity to level the scores. The referee was
:25:32. > :25:43.perfectly positioned to spot a foul. Lucy Quinn dusted herself off to
:25:44. > :25:46.take the penalty. Angharad James was on hand to tackle the rebound.
:25:47. > :25:53.Beverly Leon had only just come off the bench when she parried one in.
:25:54. > :25:57.Yeovil's search for a second equaliser and their first point of
:25:58. > :26:00.the season and they could have pinched a draw in stoppage time.
:26:01. > :26:05.With seven straight defeats in the top flight for Yeovil and for
:26:06. > :26:08.Sunderland, the first win away in the league since September 20 16.
:26:09. > :26:25.This is what it means for the table. I know your post-watershed but that
:26:26. > :26:28.Jo Potter red card, deserved? Joe is doing Willie well to shield the ball
:26:29. > :26:40.to protect the ball, she is getting her body to protect the ball. But
:26:41. > :26:46.Aoife Mannion is known for what she did. Maybe Jo Potter should have
:26:47. > :26:53.gone down rather than raising her arm like that. She should have put
:26:54. > :26:57.the decision to the referee rather than going down gracefully, she
:26:58. > :27:01.lashed out in frustration. Everyone knows in football that will equate
:27:02. > :27:08.to a red card. Let's move away from that red card because it has been a
:27:09. > :27:14.roller-coaster ride for Bristol City in recent seasons. Sioux City
:27:15. > :27:22.Clifton suspension Bridge in Bristol has spanned the picturesque Avon
:27:23. > :27:32.board for over a hundred years. -- the Avon Gorge. The manager
:27:33. > :27:39.Willie Kirk is the man who must oversee the project, can he bridge
:27:40. > :27:43.the gap between a team which were in League 2 last season and the
:27:44. > :27:50.top-flight powerhouses? How you adapting after a year away in WSL
:27:51. > :27:54.to? It is not a huge shock that the demands have been greatly increased
:27:55. > :28:00.but we had a very young talented squad with a lot of potential. It
:28:01. > :28:06.has not been such a culture shock. The players have adapted quite well.
:28:07. > :28:13.The Spring series frost was a godsend in terms of allowing us
:28:14. > :28:18.trial and error Rulli to give players the opportunities they
:28:19. > :28:25.deserved after a successful WSL2 campaign. It has been great and it
:28:26. > :28:28.has probably allowed us to do things differently and give people real
:28:29. > :28:33.opportunities. What would you say you're realistic ambitions are going
:28:34. > :28:39.forward? First of all we need to establish ourselves as a WSL1 club
:28:40. > :28:43.again. A lot in the women's game has changed for the better, but it has
:28:44. > :28:47.taken us probably that step back to take a few steps forward and catch
:28:48. > :28:53.up again. We need to establish ourselves in the league. We have to
:28:54. > :28:55.look at ourselves, Yeovil and Sunderland as three teams with
:28:56. > :29:00.similar structures and looked to be the best of those three teams to
:29:01. > :29:04.start with. And each year trying to take the project forward. When you
:29:05. > :29:09.joined, it was Bristol Academy, now it is Bristol City. What would you
:29:10. > :29:10.say, having that link with the men's team has helped you guys moving
:29:11. > :29:20.forwards? In a lot of ways, there has been
:29:21. > :29:24.constant change but that had to happen, we have lost some supporters
:29:25. > :29:29.on the way, and that is a shame because the fans will happily
:29:30. > :29:32.support Bristol Academy and I can understand that. I would ask them to
:29:33. > :29:38.support the girls rather than the badge and there has been a lot of
:29:39. > :29:43.change, lots of challenges and we're certainly in the right path. Quite a
:29:44. > :29:48.young squad, we can see that in the meeting, any with younger players?
:29:49. > :29:51.They are still trying to find themselves as people as much as
:29:52. > :29:58.footballers, there are times when they become quite shy in front of
:29:59. > :30:06.each other, you want to step up and let them get their opinion.
:30:07. > :30:12.Liverpool, thoughts? Anybody? And when one of them starts, the
:30:13. > :30:16.floodgates open! That works well because we have a very high
:30:17. > :30:24.midfield. We were moving the ball quicker. It is tough but exciting,
:30:25. > :30:28.every week, month and match you can see the squad growth, individually
:30:29. > :30:33.and as a team. Can you compete with the big hitters in the league? We
:30:34. > :30:39.can, we have shown that against Man City in the FA Cup and against
:30:40. > :30:48.Liverpool in the last match. Those results are not sustainable in the
:30:49. > :30:51.long term. 15 and two again. I love controlling controllable things, we
:30:52. > :30:55.do what we can do but these clubs are signing the best in the world
:30:56. > :31:01.and we cannot compete with that but we can deal with our performances
:31:02. > :31:07.and if they are good, we will get good results. After that, it is
:31:08. > :31:11.about overachieving, I am no different to a player, I want to
:31:12. > :31:14.coach at the top level. If I overachieve as a coach I will get
:31:15. > :31:18.moved to a bigger club, I don't think Bristol would be surprised to
:31:19. > :31:26.hear that, it is just I want to personally win the Champions League.
:31:27. > :31:31.Any thoughts on Bristol City? No? Just getting! Willie Kirk wants to
:31:32. > :31:38.move them into the next tier, what do they have to do? They have to
:31:39. > :31:41.aspire to have the model and set up that Reading have full-time, they
:31:42. > :31:47.are in the next tier, that he was referring to, to get out of that
:31:48. > :31:52.relegation battle, they need to be full-time, that is a first step with
:31:53. > :31:56.Bristol Rovers. For those young players they are trying to bring
:31:57. > :32:02.through, you need the senior ones around them to give them a level
:32:03. > :32:05.head in games? You really do, especially through difficult times,
:32:06. > :32:09.we need senior players who have been through it before to reassure them
:32:10. > :32:13.and let them know that it is OK and part of the learning process. I
:32:14. > :32:17.think the younger players are getting great exposure, paying
:32:18. > :32:22.world-class players in opposition so I think it is good for them to stay
:32:23. > :32:25.there and play every week rather than move to a different club where
:32:26. > :32:31.they might be on the bench, that exposure is really good. Interesting
:32:32. > :32:43.the way he is using the Spring Series, to bed them in. Bristol City
:32:44. > :32:47.have used this, there is nothing to lose, this is a chance for the young
:32:48. > :32:50.players to get all of that experience and play against those
:32:51. > :32:58.younger players and Reading have brought in experienced players like
:32:59. > :33:00.Joe Potter, they will help bring Reading onwards, Bristol City are
:33:01. > :33:06.moving forward and that is something they can look to. Realistic chances?
:33:07. > :33:11.It is hard to work out if he was referring to this team or whether it
:33:12. > :33:15.is in the future. As far as Mark Sampson managing it with the Bristol
:33:16. > :33:19.team... And Man City a few years ago, they had the strategy and
:33:20. > :33:24.vision of playing in the Champions League. It boils down to some
:33:25. > :33:28.capacity of money and it is great to have aspirations as players and as a
:33:29. > :33:32.manager to want to play at the top level. Talking of aspiration is, we
:33:33. > :33:37.will see this team, all things hopefully working out, in the WSL
:33:38. > :33:43.next season. Congratulation to Spurs, winning promotion with that
:33:44. > :33:51.three nil win over Blackburn at the Valley. That is a team that, should
:33:52. > :33:56.they get into WSL 2, you feel could really do well and move up the
:33:57. > :34:02.leagues? You like to think so, with the success of the men, it could be
:34:03. > :34:08.a perfect match. The North London Derby, Arsenal and Tottenham, great
:34:09. > :34:13.prospect! Absolutely phenomenal. Another season to go. Maybe not too
:34:14. > :34:18.ambitious, and that is almost it from us. Plenty more sport coming
:34:19. > :34:21.up. Huddersfield and Reading Indoor Championships play-off final on
:34:22. > :34:28.Monday afternoon, live from Wembley on Five Live at three o'clock. More
:34:29. > :34:32.Spring Series action on Wednesday as Man City look for a reaction at
:34:33. > :34:37.Sunderland, on the Red Button. And cricket back on the BBC with the ICC
:34:38. > :34:47.Champions Trophy highlights on Thursday. BBC Two at 11:20pm. Thanks
:34:48. > :34:51.to Rachel and Laura, it just remains to say that the season is going down
:34:52. > :35:06.to the wire! Let's enjoy it, have a great Bank Holiday.
:35:07. > :35:10.Hear the arguments from the politicians themselves.
