:00:42. > :01:07.Ladies and gentlemen, please will come your hosts! -- welcome.

:01:08. > :01:36.Oh yes! Good evening and thank you for that welcome. Otherwise we will

:01:37. > :01:38.not get anywhere! We've got a running, jumping,

:01:39. > :01:40.tumbling, diving, back-flipping We'll be covering athletics,

:01:41. > :01:59.gymnastics, shooting, netball, Speak back will also hopefully catch

:02:00. > :02:04.up with Greg Rutherford. We will be joined on the sofa by Denise Lewis

:02:05. > :02:15.and Beth Tweddle and we will speed to the shooters. They are back from

:02:16. > :02:28.Carnoustie! You can get in contact with us. And given a very big

:02:29. > :02:33.welcome to the band! As you might have noticed, we have started to get

:02:34. > :02:40.a lot of people outside. You can wave to them as normal. It can get

:02:41. > :02:53.annoying if watching at home and you can see people outside. Last night,

:02:54. > :03:03.it got ridiculous! Any chance to get on the television! And we did look

:03:04. > :03:10.back and there was another! He has always been a big fan. I showed that

:03:11. > :03:17.to one of the producers on Five Live and she said, was that real? !

:03:18. > :03:21.Obviously! And we had the Queen on the show last night. We had four

:03:22. > :03:27.seasons in one day today, it was very wild and windy and I had my

:03:28. > :03:33.walk down to the city centre. And a sheltered under one of those

:03:34. > :03:39.temporary shelters with a policeman. The lawn bowls was just over at the

:03:40. > :03:49.Park and was a very original way... This is the Australian player Kelvin

:03:50. > :03:54.Kerkow. The weather was not great but it was warm as dry in the Hydro

:03:55. > :03:58.this afternoon and was a fantastic battle for the gold-medal in the

:03:59. > :04:00.all-round gymnastics. With Dan Keatings and Max Whitlock. This is

:04:01. > :04:11.how things played out. Here we go with the individual

:04:12. > :04:29.all-around final. Max Whitlock, supra, starting in the

:04:30. > :04:34.way he would have wanted. -- superb. And that is world-class from Dan

:04:35. > :04:43.Keatings. Wilson from England. He can swing. He is leading so far. Max

:04:44. > :04:53.Whitlock. And how important is this for Scotland? That is good enough

:04:54. > :05:07.for Dan Keatings. Very good. The medal could be within reach. He is

:05:08. > :05:19.focused and looking so classy. Dan Keatings has to produce some magic

:05:20. > :05:24.here. Yes! He has absolutely nailed all six pieces of apparatus and Max

:05:25. > :05:31.Whitlock has just landed on the gold-medal. Dan Keatings will take

:05:32. > :05:45.silver. Nile Wilson, bronze. Just a sip herb one, two, three. -- superb.

:05:46. > :05:50.I am particularly pleased with Dan Keatings. But Max Whitlock, that

:05:51. > :05:59.took England to the top of the medals table, ahead of Australia. We

:06:00. > :06:04.do not know how long that will last. It is not often we get one over on

:06:05. > :06:07.Australia. Kate said, what an unbelievable display in the

:06:08. > :06:15.gymnastics. So exciting. And so to the final of the women and the

:06:16. > :06:18.all-around individual competition. Claudia Fragapane led the way

:06:19. > :06:39.through to this stage. Fragapane, she has to be at her

:06:40. > :06:45.best. And she was. Black, third, going into this rotation. Very good

:06:46. > :06:54.work. And the best mind. Here it is. Fragapane means business. The

:06:55. > :07:01.straight somersault! What a shame! Hannah Whelan. She will want all the

:07:02. > :07:10.marks she can get. The leader of this competition. How much pressure

:07:11. > :07:15.is she under? My word. Elizabeth Black, websites on the gold. These

:07:16. > :07:24.problems have set up a grandstand finale. -- her sights. Black, one of

:07:25. > :07:30.the most important floor routines of her life. That is going to be very

:07:31. > :07:38.costly. One, two for England at the moment. Fragapane, for the medal.

:07:39. > :07:43.What a performance! And it is in, she takes gold! With Ruby Harold

:07:44. > :07:55.taking silver. And Hannah Whelan taking bronze. Such a great day for

:07:56. > :08:00.British gymnastics. We can discuss this with a man who want to

:08:01. > :08:06.Commonwealth gold medals, in Kuala Lumpur and Manchester. He thinks he

:08:07. > :08:22.is a boxer! Please welcome Beth Tweddle and Craig Heap.

:08:23. > :08:41.APPLAUSE. I thought you were going to start back flipping. Getting into

:08:42. > :08:45.your role as a judge on an entertainment show coming to BBC

:08:46. > :08:50.One. I will struggle. We had to rehearse five times because I was

:08:51. > :09:03.trying all of these moves to look cool and they said, for gods sake,

:09:04. > :09:07.just wave! Once a performer! And Beth Tweddle, what a night we saw,

:09:08. > :09:11.we had that wonderful shot of you watching from the presentation

:09:12. > :09:17.position but can you remember an evening so good? The whole day, from

:09:18. > :09:22.Max winning, he said that bar and the girls were thinking, we will not

:09:23. > :09:27.let the boys get away with that. Yes, it has been amazing for British

:09:28. > :09:33.gymnastics. It has been remarkable, watching the men. And the thing that

:09:34. > :09:38.struck me most and we talked about this was when Max Whitlock did his

:09:39. > :09:42.final routine, Dan Keatings, who was in gold, as he started, was

:09:43. > :09:48.applauding him through that routine and cheering him on. He was then the

:09:49. > :09:52.first person to congratulate him. There was a remarkable atmosphere

:09:53. > :10:00.between them. He obviously knew that the cameras would be on him! You

:10:01. > :10:04.would expect him to be at the side with a hacksaw! But yes, there is a

:10:05. > :10:11.massive camaraderie between the Home Nations. Really nice. He was so far

:10:12. > :10:17.in front, Max, all you can do is applaud and was a great result for

:10:18. > :10:21.Dan as well. In 2009, that was as last big all-around silver medal. I

:10:22. > :10:24.think he just laughed that up. I was watching the girls tonight and the

:10:25. > :10:36.Scottish girls came in, beaming all over the place. On their faces. We

:10:37. > :10:40.can have a look at Max in action. He really can perform under pressure.

:10:41. > :10:44.And he was unbelievably impressive. He was at London 2012 as the

:10:45. > :10:47.underdog and eager to different bronze medals and he did not realise

:10:48. > :10:51.what he had achieved until he got home and reflected on this and he

:10:52. > :10:56.has just grown in confidence ever since and has difficulty, him and

:10:57. > :11:01.his coach coming back and thinking, we don't want bronze, we want one

:11:02. > :11:08.better. Or maybe two better and take the gold medal. You have been a

:11:09. > :11:11.gymnastics for a long time, I mean that in the best possible way. I

:11:12. > :11:18.mean your experience! Has British gymnastics ever been this strong?

:11:19. > :11:24.Never. When myself and Craig were starting out, I will not mention how

:11:25. > :11:30.many years ago that was... I do like it when you touch my leg! It is not

:11:31. > :11:35.condescending at all! We could not even dream of the final, let alone

:11:36. > :11:41.bringing home rentals so the fact that we can go to a competition

:11:42. > :11:46.dreaming of the gold, rebuild even think of making the final, we have

:11:47. > :11:49.targets and they are all looking forwards to the World Championships

:11:50. > :11:55.that will happen in October. And they have so much belief, that

:11:56. > :12:00.16-year-old, Fragapane? She is a pocket rocket, her first year was

:12:01. > :12:04.last year but she was injured for the whole year and she came onto the

:12:05. > :12:09.scene at the beginning of the year and was nervous, thinking which even

:12:10. > :12:15.make the team? And there she is, taking the Commonwealth crown. She

:12:16. > :12:18.is just so emotional, I saw her mother in the audience and she was

:12:19. > :12:23.in tears and the girls have been working together practically all

:12:24. > :12:29.year. So they are like sisters. And they are very protective of her. She

:12:30. > :12:34.is the baby of the team? Yes, but she has injected some energy into

:12:35. > :12:40.that setup. Good timing! Is this the tip of the iceberg for Scottish,

:12:41. > :12:44.English, Welsh, Northern Irish gymnasts? Are there others coming

:12:45. > :12:51.through? Especially with that funding, it is massive with success

:12:52. > :12:54.in Britain. Not just overnight. We have got lottery funding that has

:12:55. > :13:00.helped, the coaches are not volunteers, they get paid and there

:13:01. > :13:03.is great support staff and remember coaches back when there were more

:13:04. > :13:07.support staff than gymnasts and when I was there, there was a Jack

:13:08. > :13:14.Russell in the corner and my coach was trying to focus the gymnasts. It

:13:15. > :13:18.makes it more professional and if you invest, it does pay off. I want

:13:19. > :13:23.to see investment in sports that are not doing as well, maybe minority

:13:24. > :13:27.sports because we will never get any better unless we inject some

:13:28. > :13:32.funding. And gymnastics is proof of that success. And the greatest

:13:33. > :13:35.reflection of success is it gets an entertainment show based around it!

:13:36. > :13:42.You will both be involved on BBC One. Tumble, windows and start?

:13:43. > :13:55.Saturday the 9th of August! -- when does it start. We will look forward

:13:56. > :14:02.to that. APPLAUSE. Our favourite autograph signer and selfie Poser,

:14:03. > :14:05.Greg Rutherford, had serious business on his mind because the

:14:06. > :14:10.champion was trained to become the Commonwealth champion in the long

:14:11. > :14:18.jump. Letters a round-up. -- let us have.

:14:19. > :14:31.We in front of any competitor. Catch me if you can! Five victories out of

:14:32. > :14:36.seven. She takes the overall victory. Jessica Taylor will get

:14:37. > :14:48.there, she will get the bronze medal.

:14:49. > :15:05.31. That is fantastic. Just do it like that. Someone has to take this

:15:06. > :15:14.competition by the scruff of the neck. That is big. 8.12. Round

:15:15. > :15:20.three. And Greg Rutherford has been stood at the back of this runway.

:15:21. > :15:26.Desperate. Get out of the way, I want to jump! Look at that! Eight

:15:27. > :15:42.metres and 24 Greg Rutherford. The Commonwealth champion. Well done. A

:15:43. > :15:44.determined look on the face of the silver-medallist from the World

:15:45. > :15:54.Championships last year. That is it, that is very big. Well done, Gold

:15:55. > :16:00.for Australia. The Gold medal to be decided between

:16:01. > :16:09.the defending champion. He tries to kick hard on the inside. Tariq kicks

:16:10. > :16:17.away, it will be Gold. A Lishman Colgan right behind her -- Eilish

:16:18. > :16:25.McColgan. It was a Kenyans one, two and three.

:16:26. > :16:30.Kirani James. And the South African, stride by stride. The South African

:16:31. > :16:36.is fading. It will not be good enough, Kirani James takes the Gold

:16:37. > :16:45.medal in 44 .25. The Gold and the title again go to the Kirani James.

:16:46. > :16:49.-- go to Kirani James. This is Valerie Adams, the favourite

:16:50. > :16:59.at the Commonwealth Games. That will do. The only athlete in the world to

:17:00. > :17:00.have won every title on offer in the Commonwealth world and the Olympic

:17:01. > :17:05.world twice. Please give a warm Tonight

:17:06. > :17:39.at the Games studio welcome to two We just kind of stroll down

:17:40. > :17:43.self-consciously, everybody else is rocking it. You have to look like

:17:44. > :17:54.the red carpet. It has been 20 years since my first

:17:55. > :18:02.Commonwealth Gold medal. The audience is going, no way!

:18:03. > :18:11.20 years, 2004 in Victoria. Is it still a competition when joy

:18:12. > :18:17.watching? I love it. -- you when joy. There are countries within the

:18:18. > :18:19.Commonwealth that do not have the provisions we afford, the

:18:20. > :18:28.high-performance centres. It is a big deal when we come together and

:18:29. > :18:37.celebrate fantastic competition. What has made these championships so

:18:38. > :18:43.special for me are the crowds. And they have been in the mornings.

:18:44. > :18:47.Everybody is here. We have experienced tournament and

:18:48. > :18:51.competitions were the morning sessions are not busy. --

:18:52. > :18:55.tournaments. You cannot underestimate what a left it gives

:18:56. > :18:59.competitors and the boost the home nations have been getting is

:19:00. > :19:04.fantastic -- what it boost. Did you find it hard to get up

:19:05. > :19:07.without a crowd for the morning sessions? Not more

:19:08. > :19:10.without a crowd for the morning sessions? Not difficult but when you

:19:11. > :19:15.are in the arenas, it is like, these people want to see something and

:19:16. > :19:21.they are behind you. If you are having a bad moment, they are trying

:19:22. > :19:26.to boost your spirits and it makes a difference. What stood out tonight?

:19:27. > :19:35.There is a lot. It was action packed. Obviously, Greg Rutherford

:19:36. > :19:42.was amazing. Also, Valerie Adams. She is almost the unsung hero of

:19:43. > :19:49.athletics. She is a clear favourite every time she competes and she

:19:50. > :19:53.delivers. She has won everything, she has defended her title

:19:54. > :19:58.successfully, she is a great Ambassador for New Zealand and she

:19:59. > :20:03.deserves more credit. It is such a tough event and she trained so hard.

:20:04. > :20:08.Just to repeat and repeat success and glory every time is amazing. The

:20:09. > :20:14.crowds help athletes will form better than they ever have and we

:20:15. > :20:19.saw a record tonight -- have helped athletes perform.

:20:20. > :20:33.A record for the Games. You have seen Greg Rutherford. Theisen-Eaton.

:20:34. > :20:39.Sorry? Kirani James. Thank you, you can help me. Fantastic, taking the

:20:40. > :20:47.record from you and Thomas. This is a record that stood for six -- for

:20:48. > :20:51.16 years. -- you and Thomas. I was with him and he said he would be

:20:52. > :21:04.gutted if it went but he knew it probably would go. But he celebrated

:21:05. > :21:12.in style. There have been great performances. You cannot

:21:13. > :21:18.underestimate the talent of Kirani James. And also coming from

:21:19. > :21:25.somewhere without the facilities and the money we have. He is their first

:21:26. > :21:33.ever Olympic medallist. Yes, he has set a precedent. He is inspiring and

:21:34. > :21:38.Schumacher to choose a life in sports -- he is inspiring Grenada.

:21:39. > :21:43.It is competitive in the Caribbean because you are so used to Jamaica

:21:44. > :21:48.dominating but they are trying to move into other territories. They

:21:49. > :21:51.have had success in the men's shot-put, they have been good

:21:52. > :21:56.generally. I am going to talk to a proud mother

:21:57. > :22:07.of a here. And a mother who knows what her daughter has gone through

:22:08. > :22:17.-- over here. Liz McColgan. How proud you of Eilish? -- RU. It has

:22:18. > :22:20.been a difficult year, a lot of people do not know what Eilish has

:22:21. > :22:25.been through but she had a major heart complaint in April. We lost

:22:26. > :22:34.nine weeks of training. So to come back and finish sixth as she did

:22:35. > :22:39.after six weeks training, an admire her -- I admire her. As a mother,

:22:40. > :22:44.not a coach, it has been worrying because of her health problems. So

:22:45. > :22:48.we will move on, we would get tests done to see about a heart complaint.

:22:49. > :22:52.But I think she did really well, I am really proud of her.

:22:53. > :22:58.Thank you. Katherine Grainger has been all

:22:59. > :23:14.over the place at these Games. Yesterday, I climbed every mountain

:23:15. > :23:21.to keep up with the mountain bikers. Today, I am at the Clyde Auditorium,

:23:22. > :23:29.the Armadillo, to meet a family who have done for weightlifting what the

:23:30. > :23:35.Von Trapp stood for syncing. This Delhi Gold medallist is one of

:23:36. > :23:44.five weightlifting sift -- siblings from Samoa. One of them won a

:23:45. > :23:53.Commonwealth title in 2010. The weightlifting event is split in

:23:54. > :24:03.two. The highest aggregate score wins.

:24:04. > :24:09.This is the champion. Putting up the bar to 120.

:24:10. > :24:13.So easy, so solid. She is just playing with that.

:24:14. > :24:28.Let's see how this goes. Unexpected.

:24:29. > :24:33.The pressure would now be on the Samoan in the Clean and Jerk to

:24:34. > :24:37.retain her title. And no durian component beta by five kilograms in

:24:38. > :24:42.the snatch -- her Nigerian opponent beat her.

:24:43. > :24:50.This will come down to the last section.

:24:51. > :25:08.No issues. That was easier than the last.

:25:09. > :25:14.She has done this before. All the pressure is now on her to

:25:15. > :25:16.get the final lift. If she lists it, she is still the

:25:17. > :25:24.champion. It goes to Nigeria.

:25:25. > :25:29.She did everything she could, she went from a Commonwealth Games

:25:30. > :25:33.record events to try to win the Gold. She failed at it and she will

:25:34. > :25:39.win the silver. I have never been this positive. I

:25:40. > :25:44.really got a result. Are you happy with the silver?

:25:45. > :25:50.I am happy. I tried my best, I am happy.

:25:51. > :25:54.She did not take the Commonwealth title for some hour. She got a

:25:55. > :25:59.fantastic silver and she pushed her attempt at a Commonwealth record. We

:26:00. > :26:03.found a new star in the making and we saw dramatic finishes. What Ellie

:26:04. > :26:07.managed to lift was still be equivalent of me trying to lift

:26:08. > :26:14.Matthew Pinsent over mine, which I might try on Saturday!

:26:15. > :26:23.We should film that. England's Ben Watson has won Gold

:26:24. > :26:29.tonight. A first ever Commonwealth medal went to the competitor from

:26:30. > :26:34.Kiribati. Paul Jones has been in touch saying,

:26:35. > :26:40.my moment of the Games was Greg Rutherford fighting of the officials

:26:41. > :26:41.to take a photograph. The Commonwealth champion Long Jump

:26:42. > :27:29.is here! -- Long Jump champion. Well done, you. We are delighted you

:27:30. > :27:35.have won the medal but we wanted to do that joke!

:27:36. > :27:47.I saw the picture you put up the baby picked up. She was not happy.

:27:48. > :27:53.Get him off me! They are pushed on to you and you have to hold them. It

:27:54. > :27:59.does not look good. But she really embraced it. You said, this is my

:28:00. > :28:03.moment, this is my crowd. Dashed you really. And it came out in your

:28:04. > :28:07.performance. People come to watch you and you

:28:08. > :28:11.want to put on a performance. It started with people wanting

:28:12. > :28:16.photographs and autographs. I thought I would do a couple and it

:28:17. > :28:24.started getting a bit mad. You want to interact. He is being quite

:28:25. > :28:33.aggressive with you. He was a good guy. He has got a job to do.

:28:34. > :28:38.Absolutely. We tried to get him here tonight. He was a really good guy.

:28:39. > :28:46.He said, we have to get through. My babies! -- more babies. Somebody

:28:47. > :28:56.said you were the athletics equivalent of Prince Harry. It looks

:28:57. > :29:02.like you carried that into the night. It looks like you enjoyed it

:29:03. > :29:07.tonight and I wonder if that enjoyment and confidence has come

:29:08. > :29:13.from what happens two years ago? I think so. I was fortunate to have a

:29:14. > :29:17.great night a couple of years ago and I experienced a crowd in London

:29:18. > :29:24.out of this world. This is the second-best crowd, and what the guys

:29:25. > :29:30.did to get behind us was incredible. Everything, you draw from that. You

:29:31. > :29:36.feel incredible, you feel good. I found myself smiling. I was having a

:29:37. > :29:40.lot of fun. When you are doing that, better performances will come out

:29:41. > :29:43.and that is what I was trying to do. Do you clear your mind before you

:29:44. > :29:56.jump or are you thinking about something else? Look at Clyde!

:29:57. > :30:01.I practice every day and as much as the crowd goes wild, you try to

:30:02. > :30:04.block them out but you also take them on board partly, just to enjoy

:30:05. > :30:14.the moment. How impressive Aussie? -- how

:30:15. > :30:21.impressive was the? You have the attention -- tension of the Olympics

:30:22. > :30:28.and you are so focused, but you just seems so happy out there. It was

:30:29. > :30:30.good to see. It was a great competition and afterwards I said

:30:31. > :30:34.that the Commonwealth Games are an amazing event and it is something I

:30:35. > :30:39.hope gold for a very long time because are different levels of

:30:40. > :30:44.athletics and different sports and for someone like myself, after last

:30:45. > :30:49.year, coming back and winning the championships and that gives you

:30:50. > :30:52.that important feeling so it gave me the chance to come back and do

:30:53. > :31:05.something good. You have a baby on the way. Have you scheduled the

:31:06. > :31:11.training camp for six weeks after he is born? We are very lucky that the

:31:12. > :31:20.baby is due in October. Hopefully I will still be on my break and I can

:31:21. > :31:31.get fully involved. Yet! We wish you well with the baby and we offer our

:31:32. > :31:36.warmest congratulations. APPLAUSE. Fakie. There was a real rush to get

:31:37. > :31:41.you. -- thank you. We're off to Edinburgh now which is

:31:42. > :31:44.where the diving is being staged. Tom Daley confirmed today that he

:31:45. > :31:47.will take part in the synchronised 10m platform diving on Friday as

:31:48. > :31:50.well as the individual on Saturday. The Daley effect has wide reaching

:31:51. > :32:06.ripples, as you will see. This is a high-quality field, I have

:32:07. > :32:14.no idea which way it will go. The ten metre platform. That is right on

:32:15. > :32:21.the money with synchronisation. Canada have the gold medal but can

:32:22. > :32:34.Tonia Couch and Sarah Barrow snatch it away from them? Will that we

:32:35. > :32:42.gold? , on! Here we go, 69. Very close. Another silver GI to their

:32:43. > :32:52.collection from 2014 for Sarah Barrow and Tonia Couch. Jack Laugher

:32:53. > :33:00.has a gap of 45 points over the rest. Grant Nel of Australia. That

:33:01. > :33:08.is mind blowing! That will be good enough for a medal. Hello!

:33:09. > :33:18.Marvellous dive from Matthew Mitcham. There will be two medals

:33:19. > :33:22.for Australia. All yours... That was a diving masterclass from this young

:33:23. > :33:35.English man, that is your Commonwealth champion by a country

:33:36. > :33:41.mile. He is electric! 68 points required by Alicia Blagg and Rebecca

:33:42. > :33:51.Gallantree for first place. That is a phenomenal finish! I was not

:33:52. > :33:55.expecting that. I am speechless, I literally cannot believe what has

:33:56. > :33:59.happened. I thought you would be in fourth place or fifth place, maybe

:34:00. > :34:05.third. I looked at the school board and it was first. No way!

:34:06. > :34:12.We have come to the bar to talk about shooting. Hugh has made us

:34:13. > :34:30.very as shots but he has put a massive lemon on it! -- various. It

:34:31. > :34:37.is a target! Greg Rutherford has been winning eight, Roger Thompson

:34:38. > :34:40.is one cool guy. It is talk about shooting and shooting is in

:34:41. > :34:46.Carnoustie. Only now can we talk to them. David Calvert from Northern

:34:47. > :34:57.Ireland, there are most decorated Commonwealth Games medallist. --

:34:58. > :35:01.there. We were fourth in the end so it was a good performance and I was

:35:02. > :35:11.quite happy but just short of the medals. At first Commonwealth Games,

:35:12. > :35:21.that was 1978, you have competed in ten out of 20 of these Commonwealth

:35:22. > :35:24.Games? Yes! How has it changed? I guess it has got easier with time

:35:25. > :35:30.passing, you get used to it. Do they get bigger? Larger teams and

:35:31. > :35:34.numbers, the total number of athletes has probably doubled since

:35:35. > :35:40.I first took part. What has this one been like? In a lot of fun, and the

:35:41. > :35:47.support and the organisers and particularly the volunteers at

:35:48. > :35:55.Carnoustie have been superb. I will leave you with my shot! I will just

:35:56. > :35:58.put that there. This section contains Team England and these

:35:59. > :36:12.shooters have one 15 medals between them. -- won. David has got two of

:36:13. > :36:18.them hanging around his head. There was a very fancy entrance? Yes, this

:36:19. > :36:23.is a special tradition that goes back 150 years, the winner gets

:36:24. > :36:28.taken off the range on a chair by his friends. I thought this was the

:36:29. > :36:33.way you travelled everyday! There would be a problem going home! We

:36:34. > :36:37.will try to show you that. Charlotte, you have been shooting

:36:38. > :36:44.since you were 12. How many medals is this? This is number four.

:36:45. > :36:50.Brilliant performance. And you do love it. I have been shooting since

:36:51. > :36:57.I was 12 and I still love it as much as I did back then. Steve, double

:36:58. > :37:02.trap gold medal? Was that easy? I won the pairs match in 2010 and I

:37:03. > :37:08.have the singles so I have both of them lie. This was quite tired and

:37:09. > :37:14.my team-mate, Matt French, pushed me all the way to the end. I was lucky

:37:15. > :37:19.enough. You did shoot with David in the pairs and then had to let him

:37:20. > :37:24.win in the individual? Yes, but I have won this before so I was quite

:37:25. > :37:28.pleased for him! Over the last five years he has probably been the best

:37:29. > :37:33.shot in the world. You have quite a serious job? Yes, I work as a

:37:34. > :37:46.surgeon at St George 's Hospital in Kingston. My customary position of

:37:47. > :37:49.being really uncomfortable for three minutes as I kneel down on the hard

:37:50. > :37:55.floor in the studio but it is worth it. They lose and gentlemen, welcome

:37:56. > :38:12.the most decorated Scottish Commonwealth Games medallist ever.

:38:13. > :38:16.You have got to medals here. -- two. An incredible experience. What was

:38:17. > :38:20.the difference competing on home territory? Completely different, it

:38:21. > :38:25.was great to compete for the home crowd, they helped to drive me on

:38:26. > :38:30.and it was phenomenal. Have you spoken to either of the athletes

:38:31. > :38:42.whose record YouTube? I have spoken to one of them, yes. -- you took.

:38:43. > :38:47.You and Thomas, you were furious when you lost your most decorated

:38:48. > :38:53.record to your daughter! I thought it was tremendous! And you have also

:38:54. > :39:00.brought your own medals. I have gold and silver from Victoria and bronze

:39:01. > :39:05.medals from Kuala Lumpur. That deserves a round of applause. And to

:39:06. > :39:12.top this off, you actually got to present one of Jennifer's nurdles to

:39:13. > :39:15.her? Ad is right, bronze in the event that I won the gold medal in

:39:16. > :39:20.and they asked me to present that price. How far in advance did you

:39:21. > :39:25.know you were presenting the medal two-year-old daughter? Two hours.

:39:26. > :39:30.The family have been told to days in advance? There were other people who

:39:31. > :39:35.knew well in advance before I did so I was not dressed for the occasion.

:39:36. > :39:43.Is that your husband to the left who might have known and forgot to pass

:39:44. > :39:49.on that message? ! Yes! You have had a very busy time? I have been very

:39:50. > :39:57.busy. You gave the coaches the oath? I did. Was that special? Quite an

:39:58. > :40:03.experience. I could not see with the spotlights! Sinead, are you a

:40:04. > :40:16.shooter? Yes. Is your sister and inspiration? Definitely. Give them a

:40:17. > :40:19.round of applause. APPLAUSE. Some shooting history with the family and

:40:20. > :40:25.there is more history with wrestling.

:40:26. > :40:33.These days, people think of wrestling and they think of

:40:34. > :40:35.characters like Hulk Hogan and the undertaker and Steve Austen but

:40:36. > :40:42.wrestling is an ancient sport dating back some 15,000 years. Zeus

:40:43. > :40:48.wrestled his own father for the universe and today, the Commonwealth

:40:49. > :40:58.Games, it is not the universe but gold, silver and bronze medals at

:40:59. > :41:05.stake. Can I take this off? Here she is! This will be an interesting

:41:06. > :41:10.clash! Bold shoulder blades but to the ground, it is the bronze medal

:41:11. > :41:12.for the South African. Shannon was and on by the softness and strength

:41:13. > :41:24.of the South African. That should be it! Technical

:41:25. > :41:38.superiority, Scotland get the bronze medal in the wrestling. Bronze medal

:41:39. > :41:46.for Scotland! Sasha for England. And that is it. It is all over. Daniel

:41:47. > :41:52.from Nigeria, winning the bronze medal. Sarah Grundy, looking pensive

:41:53. > :41:56.at the moment. This is energy sapping for the Englishwoman,

:41:57. > :42:04.horrible position to be caught in. Get the bronze. It is over, no luck

:42:05. > :42:19.for Sarah Grundy, unfortunately. The Northern line, McCloskey, and it is

:42:20. > :42:23.over. -- North Ayrshire man. Britain's number one was wrestling

:42:24. > :42:28.in the 97 kilograms category, he is what we call in Essex a unit. Does

:42:29. > :42:36.he have the power? My goodness, he does. It is over! He has got the

:42:37. > :42:43.bronze medal. A bronze medal for England. Sarah Jones has got a very

:42:44. > :42:50.tough fight on her hands. And that is it. The bronze goes to India. Two

:42:51. > :42:53.more bronze medals for the Home Nations on the wrestling mat today

:42:54. > :42:56.and one thing I have learned is wrestling is not for the

:42:57. > :43:02.faint-hearted. About that money I owe you...

:43:03. > :43:09.If he survived he will do another sport tomorrow but Usain Bolt was

:43:10. > :43:12.that the netball today, there to support Jamaica who lost to New

:43:13. > :43:16.Zealand which means that England will play New Zealand in the

:43:17. > :43:24.semifinals on Saturday morning. The England net all team are with us.

:43:25. > :43:31.Delighted to have you back! How do you assess the performance? We just

:43:32. > :43:34.wanted to get through the business end and we have been improving

:43:35. > :43:40.everyday so we cannot wait for the last two days. While Hugh is busy

:43:41. > :43:46.making cocktails, they are not tricking them! They still have got

:43:47. > :43:52.serious work to do! I love your idea of team spirit and teamwork because

:43:53. > :43:57.your Joe Hart, they introduced the players. She anticipated the

:43:58. > :44:03.introduction, she goes out there and she has gone to sing. The rest of

:44:04. > :44:10.them just crack up! Why did you not help her? She went to early! She

:44:11. > :44:17.still the show. We held her back for the next game. But we did applaud

:44:18. > :44:26.her. Do you like that? Do you like teen spirit? Totally united front, I

:44:27. > :44:32.felt! We had her father on this week, you were tweeting about him.

:44:33. > :44:39.He described him as a fame hog. Has that gone down well? They thought it

:44:40. > :44:45.was funny but also true! Looking ahead to the semifinal, what do you

:44:46. > :44:51.think? I feel very confident and so do my team-mates and the support has

:44:52. > :44:57.been phenomenal and has been of chat about Australia but I would say,

:44:58. > :45:03.watch out for us! -- there has been lots of chat. Enjoy the experience.

:45:04. > :45:11.And the better you will perform. Good luck! We will see you in the

:45:12. > :45:25.semifinal. Letters look at what is going on.

:45:26. > :45:27.In boxing, Kes Ashfaq of England, Scotland's Stephen Lavelle,

:45:33. > :45:35.And in the women's boxing, Olympic champion Nicola Adams of England won

:45:36. > :45:37.today to guarantee a medal, as did Northern Ireland's Michaela

:46:14. > :46:25.Those are the headlines and you can get more details on the BBC website.

:46:26. > :46:31.Come over to my map. Time is running out, how many countries have you

:46:32. > :46:36.covered? 60 have been done, in 11 left. I have had a good day. I got

:46:37. > :46:41.through the lawn bowls, Namibia and the Cook Islands. In this bottom

:46:42. > :46:46.left-hand corner. And in the athletics this morning... Stop

:46:47. > :46:48.dropping me! We had an excellent selection of characters, these are

:46:49. > :46:59.some of the people I met. I love it here. The people make

:47:00. > :47:04.Glasgow, right? Are you an air traffic controller?

:47:05. > :47:11.How busy is the airport? Not as busy as Heathrow. I am 17. What was going

:47:12. > :47:20.through your mind? Did you look left and right? I had a bit of a look. I

:47:21. > :47:29.do not know how to say it in French, personal best? Yes, very good.

:47:30. > :47:34.What is the experience like of having tens of thousands of people

:48:18. > :48:23.did not have too much polish, I do not know where they got that idea!

:48:24. > :48:27.We would think that if you went from this tiny island off the West Coast

:48:28. > :48:36.of Africa to Glasgow, it would be a ten hour flight. But think again.

:48:37. > :48:42.Sitting on its own in the fast South Atlantic Ocean is St Helena. 47

:50:09. > :50:12.in shape until we got to Cape Town. Chelsea, there are people on this

:50:13. > :50:21.team who before they came to the Games had not left the island of
