:00:41. > :00:48.Hello, welcome to highlights of the 2004 team ITU World Triathlon,

:00:49. > :00:55.which, for the first time ever, comes from Chicago. Some of the best

:00:56. > :00:59.athletes have descended here to tackle a course in and around the

:01:00. > :01:03.shores of Lake Michigan. Let's have a read of what has happened in the

:01:04. > :01:09.previous events in the season so far. The series began in all month,

:01:10. > :01:23.were the world champion 20 IIMACRO2 top honours, with Jodie Stimpson

:01:24. > :01:33.first in the women's. -- Javier Gomez Noya. In Japan, Javier Gomez

:01:34. > :01:46.Noya made it a hat-trick of wins for the men, while in the women's Jordan

:01:47. > :01:53.Saint got her first victory. It was a straightforward, as easy as it

:01:54. > :02:03.comes for someone of the ability of Jorgensen. She is being warmly

:02:04. > :02:13.welcomes to make it two wins in a row. She wins again in Hyde Park in

:02:14. > :02:24.London. She takes first position. The men's race came down to a

:02:25. > :02:34.thrilling finale. They have nothing more to offer! Javier Gomez Noya

:02:35. > :02:40.takes the wind! Richard Mawrey is second. Joao Pereira is third for

:02:41. > :02:48.Portugal. Alistair Brownlee give it everything, but finishes fourth.

:02:49. > :02:56.Javier Gomez Noya leads the standings ahead of Jonathan

:02:57. > :02:57.Brownlee. Alistair Brownlee is not attending this event, meaning he can

:02:58. > :03:19.no longer reclaim his world title. The field will head off into Lake

:03:20. > :03:25.Michigan for the first part of the race. There will be eight laps to

:03:26. > :03:29.complete the 14 kilometres cycle section on a flat course in and

:03:30. > :03:37.around the waterfront area. Plenty of hairpin bends. The run course

:03:38. > :03:42.stays close to the lake as the athletes complete four laps of 2.5:

:03:43. > :03:47.The tours on wide American highways, devoid of traffic today.

:03:48. > :03:55.The centrepiece of the race will be the magnificent Buckingham Fountain.

:03:56. > :04:28.Here is the start list: 51 people ready to dive into Lake

:04:29. > :04:33.Michigan. It is underway! Into the cool, choppy waters of the great

:04:34. > :04:38.Lake. Away they go. The water temperature has been an issue

:04:39. > :04:42.throughout the build-up in the days leading up to this first-ever World

:04:43. > :04:47.Triathlon series event to be held in Chicago. It will be a good

:04:48. > :04:58.opportunity for the strong swimmers to show what they are made of. Munro

:04:59. > :05:03.harbour is protected from the worst of the elements. It is very chilly.

:05:04. > :05:07.We haven't seen any difficult swim so far this season. This could be a

:05:08. > :05:13.real eye-opener, to see the strongest swimmers. We can see there

:05:14. > :05:24.are big gaps beginning to come through as they make their way. The

:05:25. > :05:30.aquarium in the background there. Lots of great sites of the city

:05:31. > :05:35.nearby. Very much the hub of the city, dine on the waterfront. One or

:05:36. > :05:44.two of the stronger swimmers beginning to make their move. We

:05:45. > :05:46.should see Pamela Oliveira, she is one of the stronger swimmers. The

:05:47. > :05:54.Japanese swimmers tend to be strong. Gwen Jorgensen will be

:05:55. > :05:58.hoping not to get too far behind on this first stage. The American

:05:59. > :06:03.always struggles in the water. It is her Achilles heel. It has been

:06:04. > :06:12.improving. She will be hoping not to get too far adrift. Here is the

:06:13. > :06:22.start again. Good crowds on the waterfront to watch them start.

:06:23. > :06:40.There is a leader at the moment, forcing the pace. Clean water ahead.

:06:41. > :06:45.The sun is out. Lap one of the swim. They have this semicircle to make

:06:46. > :06:51.around the giant inflatable. This is where trouble can start. It is all

:06:52. > :06:56.right for the first five or six who are OK in terms of the space they

:06:57. > :07:04.have around them. Behind, already the trouble is starting. Swimmers

:07:05. > :07:12.get ducked and pushed. It can be very tricky indeed. It is always

:07:13. > :07:19.handy to be a strong swimmer to get away from the danger. A

:07:20. > :07:25.demonstration of how difficult the swim is. It is not a huge wave going

:07:26. > :07:35.up and down, but every time the swimmers need to look up, they will

:07:36. > :07:41.need to try and get much more frequent sightings than normal.

:07:42. > :07:47.Helen Jenkins is really coming back into form after a miserable 15

:07:48. > :07:52.months out. What a sight that is, with the Chicago skyline and all the

:07:53. > :08:03.skyscrapers unfamiliar buildings forming the backdrop to this world

:08:04. > :08:12.triathlon. They have one kilometre of the swim to go. They will come

:08:13. > :08:19.back for the second lap. It is the full Olympic distance here, unlike

:08:20. > :08:28.London where it was half distance, a sprint distance. A 40 kilometre bike

:08:29. > :08:35.lap, then 10,000 metres of running. Isn't that a fabulous site in the

:08:36. > :08:41.sunshine in Chicago? I am looking forward to seeing how Gwen Jorgensen

:08:42. > :08:44.does here. It is crucial for her. So many times we have almost seemed the

:08:45. > :08:49.naivete of her coming through. Her swimming has improved dramatically

:08:50. > :08:56.this season. The other swimmers in these difficult conditions will be

:08:57. > :09:02.looking to push it. They will want to try and get away, to open a gap

:09:03. > :09:11.and really try to take everything away from Gwen Jorgensen's amazing

:09:12. > :09:25.running strength. Emma Moffatt is not far away. She is a strong

:09:26. > :09:31.swimmer. Helen Jenkins, wearing number two, is on the comeback after

:09:32. > :09:36.a long lay-off with injury. She is showing encouraging signs in the

:09:37. > :09:39.build-up to the Commonwealth Games. Helen Jenkins was saying in the

:09:40. > :09:44.press conference that it is crystal that they worked hard to try to get

:09:45. > :09:53.away from Gwen Jorgensen. Everybody is aware of how good she is running.

:09:54. > :09:58.With the difficult conditions, this is an opportunity for the good

:09:59. > :10:05.swimmers to make a break. Helen Jenkins was third in the opening

:10:06. > :10:12.race, second in Cape Town. She is starting to reach form at the right

:10:13. > :10:18.time in terms of the Commonwealth Games. Just saw macro coming

:10:19. > :10:39.through. Gwen Jorgensen is doing all right,

:10:40. > :10:43.just 13 seconds off the lead. The Americans are trying to make their

:10:44. > :10:51.mark on this, the only event to be held on American soil and in

:10:52. > :10:59.American waters. It has been held at San Diego for the last couple of

:11:00. > :11:05.years. Back in the water again. That is an excellent first lap I Gwen

:11:06. > :11:10.Jorgensen. To be just a few seconds down in these difficult conditions.

:11:11. > :11:26.An indication of how much work she would have done on her swimming. She

:11:27. > :11:35.is improving every race. The leader is starting to stretch them here.

:11:36. > :11:40.You can see how far of the 51 starters are spread. I'm sure one or

:11:41. > :11:50.two will be starting to feel the effects of the speed of the swim.

:11:51. > :11:55.This will be quite difficult for the leader. I don't that you will be

:11:56. > :12:01.looking to go for unknown break on the bike. She has to make a

:12:02. > :12:06.decision, will she keep pushing through and then have the bravery to

:12:07. > :12:17.go ahead on the bike, or why not back off a little? I wonder how

:12:18. > :12:25.aware she is of the she has opened up? Lots of big names in that

:12:26. > :12:35.following pack. Gwen Jorgensen was 13 seconds adrift at the end of the

:12:36. > :12:41.first lap. They are into the last 130 metres of the swim. What a sight

:12:42. > :12:49.that is! It is the most spectacular backdrop we have seen for a long

:12:50. > :12:57.while. Coming into the transition. It is a very long transition area.

:12:58. > :13:04.This might work to the advantage of Gwen Jorgensen. She has the

:13:05. > :13:12.opportunity now to claw back a couple of seconds. The last

:13:13. > :13:25.right-hand turn. You can see the exit point marked. Then, the job

:13:26. > :13:38.towards the transition, then the whole episode of getting prepared

:13:39. > :13:52.for the bike. We rarely see a gap that big in either the men or

:13:53. > :14:00.women's events. Helen Jenkins is just going through our picture. She

:14:01. > :14:10.is in fifth position. Then 16 macro, Pamela Oliveira, Yuko

:14:11. > :14:33.Takahashi. There is Gwen Jorgensen. She has lost another 15 seconds so.

:14:34. > :14:44.She will be reeled in. They crossed the road that separates the lake

:14:45. > :14:49.from the transition area. They are pretty well spread, it is a good

:14:50. > :15:04.wide transition area. Everything is bigger in the USA! We are unlikely

:15:05. > :15:27.to have a group of 15 or 20 forming the pellet on at the front. --

:15:28. > :15:34.peleton. It is a very flat course. I just wonder if Nicky Samuels is

:15:35. > :15:40.thinking about trying to join the leader. We could have a 2-person

:15:41. > :15:48.time trial going through. Unlike the, because there are some great

:15:49. > :16:06.cyclists in the following pack. There goes Emma Moffatt catching up

:16:07. > :16:11.with Nicky Samuels. Jorgensen I think will be in the next group,

:16:12. > :16:18.unless she has had an incredibly fast start. I cannot see her in

:16:19. > :16:20.there. Carolina Routier, the leader out of the water, she has been

:16:21. > :16:48.caught by Emma Moffatt, the Australian. Yuka Sato of Japan.

:16:49. > :16:52.Takahashi, another one of the Japanese contingent. Kirsten

:16:53. > :17:00.Sweetland from Canada making a huge effort at the front of the second

:17:01. > :17:03.fact to break down. Seemed to have the other athletes struggling to

:17:04. > :17:08.stay with her. Looking out for Jorgensen, I cannot see her in the

:17:09. > :17:15.first park and I have not seen her in the second pack. She had a very

:17:16. > :17:26.good swim under difficult conditions. Still on the first lap

:17:27. > :17:33.on the bike. Coming past Buckingham Fountain, known as the front door of

:17:34. > :17:40.Chicago. We will look at the runners and riders as they complete the

:17:41. > :18:05.first lap of eight. Chance to see exactly how many involved.

:18:06. > :18:12.We have 17 in the front group and then a gap of only seven seconds to

:18:13. > :18:20.another group of half a dozen or so who will be hoping to get amongst

:18:21. > :18:29.the leaders. Flora Duffy leading the chase group. A very strong cyclist,

:18:30. > :18:33.Flora Duffy. She has been doing well on mountain bikes. Technically she

:18:34. > :18:38.is very good and is very good on strength. But it is a big call to

:18:39. > :18:48.catch up with this FirstGroup. They have got away from Jorgensen.

:18:49. > :18:57.Looking at the time, and minute and a half down on what we have been

:18:58. > :18:58.used to on the lead swimmers coming through. The Italian struggling to

:18:59. > :19:10.stay in contact as they come round the sharp turns. Pamela Oliveira

:19:11. > :19:18.Eire out the back. Helen Jenkins out of the seat and pushing hard. Gwen

:19:19. > :19:25.Jorgensen is closing the gap. We know she has the speed when it comes

:19:26. > :19:29.to the running, but she needs to be within a minute and a half or so to

:19:30. > :19:37.have a serious opportunity of getting towards the front and bid to

:19:38. > :19:41.win her third triathlon series in a row. She won the sprint race in Hyde

:19:42. > :19:52.Park in London and will hope to be winning here on home soil. The

:19:53. > :19:55.leaders are 32 seconds ahead of the chasers. Helen Jenkins at the front

:19:56. > :20:03.of the first pack. She knows what she has to do. With Jorgensen, you

:20:04. > :20:08.would then she would be proactive. We are on the fourth lap of the

:20:09. > :20:14.bike. Jorgensen is happy to let other people do the work on the

:20:15. > :20:20.bike, hoping to take her through. She needs to be proactive to become

:20:21. > :20:27.the all-round triathlete. Just beginning to rain. It is going to be

:20:28. > :20:33.difficult because it was sunny when they started. Cyclists will be

:20:34. > :20:42.wearing sunglasses which will not be very comfortable if it does rain

:20:43. > :20:47.heavily. 12 umbrellas around the course. If it turns into a

:20:48. > :20:52.downpour, and there are some dark clouds looming across the lake, it

:20:53. > :20:58.could get interesting. Halfway through the two wheel section. The

:20:59. > :21:06.group coming through led by Kirsten Sweetland of Canada. Charlotte

:21:07. > :21:16.McShane and Nicky Samuels, Kaitlin Donner. We have a group of 12

:21:17. > :21:26.leading them through. Half way down, four laps to go. The big group

:21:27. > :21:31.coming down to 12 early on in the bike. An indication how fast Kirsten

:21:32. > :21:40.Sweetland and Helen Jenkins are pushing this case. Flora Duffy

:21:41. > :21:58.leading the second pack 40 seconds down. There is when Jorgensen and

:21:59. > :22:01.she is safely in the middle of the second pack. Jorgensen easy to spot

:22:02. > :22:04.with the golden number one on her upper arm, @ she leads the world

:22:05. > :22:09.triathlon standings. Halfway through, this is number five of

:22:10. > :22:18.eight races. At the Chicago they will head to hamburg and then and

:22:19. > :22:24.the grand final takes place in Edmonton in Canada. Lap five on two

:22:25. > :22:28.wheels on this flat course in downtown Chicago. They are going

:22:29. > :22:30.inland away from the lake towards South Mitch Egan Avenue towards

:22:31. > :22:37.grand part, taking in parts of South Columbus drive as well. PAC number

:22:38. > :22:44.one and pack number two cross over, they will be looking at what the

:22:45. > :22:54.time gap is. Gone from 30 .34 to 41 seconds. Judging by previous results

:22:55. > :22:59.from Jorgensen's tremendous running they will need as much as a minute

:23:00. > :23:07.and a half if they have a chance of staying ahead of her. Kaitlin Donner

:23:08. > :23:14.of the USA. There is Emma Moffatt. She will be part of the Australian

:23:15. > :23:23.contingent heading to Scotland for the Commonwealth Games. Wasn't in

:23:24. > :23:27.the programme in Delhi, but was included in 2006 in Melbourne.

:23:28. > :23:38.Another one of those hairpin turns which characterised this course in

:23:39. > :23:52.Chicago. Charlotte on in, the Italian keeping clear of trouble.

:23:53. > :23:59.That is the gap to the second group, 46 seconds. It is well within

:24:00. > :24:05.Jorgensen's abilities to run that down and push for a place on the

:24:06. > :24:10.podium and potentially victory. Just looking at the two Italian athletes.

:24:11. > :24:14.I thought they were struggling to hold on but the way circum- have

:24:15. > :24:19.dipped hated this race, they are seeing this as an advantage they are

:24:20. > :24:26.being dragged along and said their legs and make a bit of a

:24:27. > :24:36.breakthrough. Helen Jenkins getting her head down. Nice low, aerodynamic

:24:37. > :24:39.shape from the British triathlete who will be representing Wales at

:24:40. > :24:46.the forthcoming Commonwealth games in Glasgow. She was actually born in

:24:47. > :24:52.Scotland, her father was in the RAF based in Scotland but she has lived

:24:53. > :25:05.all her life in Wales. Emma Moffatt is pushing indeed. The contrast with

:25:06. > :25:08.Emma Moffatt and Helen Jenkins. Jorgensen in there as well. We have

:25:09. > :25:18.not seen Gwen Jorgensen go to the front of this chasing pack. Just 17

:25:19. > :25:21.kilometres to go. Lap number six, the chasing group and a bit of a

:25:22. > :25:29.breakaway going on at the front. Looks like the Mexican Claudia Rivas

:25:30. > :25:36.is having a go. She has when Jorgensen the company. Jorgensen

:25:37. > :25:43.taking the ride, slipstreaming behind the Mexican. She will attempt

:25:44. > :25:56.to close down the leaders. Jorgensen within striking distance. Eight laps

:25:57. > :26:02.in total. Lots of work by Kirsten Sweetland from Canada. There was a

:26:03. > :26:06.moment when one of the riders went the wrong side of the cones and came

:26:07. > :26:14.within touching distance of the other group. An indication of how

:26:15. > :26:23.tight these turns are. They are squeezing half a second on the

:26:24. > :26:39.chasing pack. It is a six Lane Hwy after all. Bonin still positioned at

:26:40. > :26:45.the back. Lots of work going on at the front. Emma Moffatt, always at

:26:46. > :26:54.the front. They seem to be dominating. They have taken the race

:26:55. > :27:05.ice storm. Determined to get away from Jorgensen. Kirsten Sweetland

:27:06. > :27:09.coming back into form. She has been strong on the bike section. Looks

:27:10. > :27:17.like Emma Moffatt is back at the front, forcing the pace. Endless

:27:18. > :27:24.tight turns. They go around the roundabout eight times as well. Lots

:27:25. > :27:32.to think about. Although there is no climbing apart from the odd speed

:27:33. > :27:44.bump, plenty of turns to think about and chances to keep clear of your

:27:45. > :28:01.opponents in this race. Helen Jenkins is within this group as

:28:02. > :28:08.well. An hour and four minutes of the race. Getting towards the tail

:28:09. > :28:10.end of the cycle section as they complete lap six towards the

:28:11. > :28:23.Buckingham Fountain. They have a water show from the Fountain on the

:28:24. > :28:39.hour, every hour. Sweetland is first through. Sato is 11th and Bonin is

:28:40. > :28:44.12. The front 12 separated by just four seconds with two laps to go.

:28:45. > :28:51.And exit through the transition. They can see the chasing pack coming

:28:52. > :28:57.through behind them. 48 seconds was the last time we had. Would be

:28:58. > :29:04.surprising if there was any closing down. Jones of the USA at the back

:29:05. > :29:10.of the pack wearing the stars and stripes. Back with the leaders now.

:29:11. > :29:19.Well on their way, the leading group. They are on the penultimate

:29:20. > :29:29.lap of the course. Seven laps almost done with one to go. Everybody has

:29:30. > :29:33.stayed clear of trouble. They have opened the South Lake Shore Drive to

:29:34. > :29:39.traffic again after they have made the cross from the lake to the

:29:40. > :29:46.transition area. Great position by Helen Jenkins. She moves to the

:29:47. > :29:52.outside so just making the turn each time a little bit less severe so she

:29:53. > :29:57.is not slowing down too much. Moving her legs a little bit faster. Some

:29:58. > :30:07.of the leaders in the first pack, perhaps choosing a tiny bit too big

:30:08. > :30:12.de Gea, with that determination to stay away from the second pack.

:30:13. > :30:16.Helen Jenkins playing it cool, controlling, watching what is

:30:17. > :30:24.happening and doing the work when it is required of her but also being

:30:25. > :30:26.tactically aware on every turn. This leading pack probably do need more

:30:27. > :30:45.if they want to stay away from Gwen Jorgensen. Gwen Jorgensen will not

:30:46. > :30:52.be pushing too hard on the bike. It is her race. She has the running

:30:53. > :30:58.capability. She can strike from a long way back. They will all be

:30:59. > :31:05.aware that Gwen Jorgensen is not too far behind. There is the world

:31:06. > :31:10.number one, as cool as you like. Minimum effort on the bike. Saving

:31:11. > :31:20.her long legs for the 10,000 metre run. Meanwhile, the leaders are on

:31:21. > :31:24.their way on the final lap. We have had a bit of everything with the

:31:25. > :31:32.weather. The rain has eased off. Another pocket of loose sky has

:31:33. > :31:48.developed overhead. Gwen Jorgensen is almost a throwback to another

:31:49. > :31:54.great athlete... Gwen Jorgensen, she is becoming more tactically aware as

:31:55. > :32:02.she learnt are treated. If she stays on the course she is on now, she

:32:03. > :32:10.will be really quite outstanding. So, the leaders will be starting to

:32:11. > :32:18.think about the transition. Two or three Japanese in the grip. It will

:32:19. > :32:32.be interesting to see who tries to break away first. The Velcro straps

:32:33. > :32:38.are already undone. Remember the accident with Jodie Stimpson, were

:32:39. > :32:55.she collapsed on top of bike in the transition area? They will all be

:32:56. > :33:00.aware they need take care. The Chicago yacht club is just on the

:33:01. > :33:03.top left of the screen. The between the leaders and the chasers it over

:33:04. > :33:10.a minute. That will not worry Gwen Jorgensen. It makes it more

:33:11. > :33:20.interesting, doesn't it? Who else in the second pack has the ability to

:33:21. > :33:25.come through? We have some great runners there, Emma Moffatt,

:33:26. > :33:31.Charlotte McShane. Charlotte McShane is a previous world champion and she

:33:32. > :33:36.is a great runner. But has she had to do too much on the bike? They go

:33:37. > :33:43.past the Buckingham Fountain and start to prepare for the ends of

:33:44. > :33:50.their last lap. The weather is playing ball, providing a fabulous

:33:51. > :34:00.setting. This is where the crowds gathered. Emma Moffatt and Helen

:34:01. > :34:10.Jenkins arrive on the blue carpet, ready to park their bikes, put on

:34:11. > :34:14.their running shoes and head out to do the 10,000 metre run. Helen

:34:15. > :34:18.Jenkins is away in about fifth position. The officials are there to

:34:19. > :34:29.check that everything is done correctly. Not putting your helmets

:34:30. > :34:36.in the right place can give you a 15 second stop penalty. The chasing

:34:37. > :34:52.pack is by coming towards the Buckingham Fountain. They are led in

:34:53. > :34:57.by Sara Vilic from Austria. Gwen Jorgensen will not be far off. At

:34:58. > :35:18.that this might line, next theory is Sara Vilic and Lisa Perterer. Gwen

:35:19. > :35:25.Jorgensen is in 18th position. Now she is in her comfort zone. A 10,000

:35:26. > :35:32.metre run for the American. Can she win this race in Chicago? That was a

:35:33. > :35:33.top-class transition from Gwen Jorgensen. She looks very calm and

:35:34. > :35:50.collect today. -- Gwen Jorgensen has a very long

:35:51. > :36:00.stride. I think she'll be feeling very confident.

:36:01. > :36:11.She will be closing down very quickly indeed. Gwen Jorgensen looks

:36:12. > :36:14.like a proper runner, doesn't she? The others are struggling already.

:36:15. > :36:22.Gwen Jorgensen is just hitting her stride. With every step she takes

:36:23. > :36:28.she widens the gap. Upright, relaxed, powerful. She is eating up

:36:29. > :36:32.the ground. Out towards the front of the race, Helen Jenkins upgrade

:36:33. > :36:41.written is the leader. The difference between those two is 47

:36:42. > :36:45.seconds. Helen Jenkins is getting fitter and faster all the time.

:36:46. > :36:55.Tempt to is making her move right from the start. Helen Jenkins has to

:36:56. > :37:06.really go for it. She is working hard, she wants to stay awake. She

:37:07. > :37:10.looks strong and powerful. They will be looking to get their times

:37:11. > :37:20.checked at the end of this first lap. Helen Jenkins and Juri Ide are

:37:21. > :37:33.in first and second positions. Kirsten Sweetland is in third. You

:37:34. > :37:43.would imagine if Gwen Jorgensen stays healthy and fast, they will

:37:44. > :37:48.soon be caught up. We will get the cheque shortly to see how much Gwen

:37:49. > :37:53.Jorgensen has taken out of their lead. Helen Jenkins is through

:37:54. > :38:07.first, Juri Ide in second, Kirsten Sweetland in third. Annamaria

:38:08. > :38:16.Mazzetti is running on her own. Gwen Jorgensen will not be far away.

:38:17. > :38:25.Helen Jenkins and Juri Ide have really gone for it. We should be

:38:26. > :38:29.getting an indication of what sort of time difference there is now

:38:30. > :38:36.before we see Gwen Jorgensen coming in. Gwen Jorgensen is within 50

:38:37. > :38:41.seconds of the lead with three laps to go. It is all about timing now

:38:42. > :38:48.for Gwen Jorgensen. That is fascinating. If the closing down

:38:49. > :38:54.stays the same in each lap, they will be coming together retain much

:38:55. > :38:59.on the finishing line. It will be a big determined effort from Gwen

:39:00. > :39:05.Jorgensen and Helen Jenkins, one to stay away, one to close down. Gwen

:39:06. > :39:17.Jorgensen is ticking off the Americans. She has just overtaken 78

:39:18. > :39:22.a group. Charlotte McShane will be next to fall prey to Gwen Jorgensen.

:39:23. > :39:31.One by one, Gwen Jorgensen takes them out. For Charlotte McShane to

:39:32. > :39:38.have lost a minute to Gwen Jorgensen in a lap, that is amazing. Gwen

:39:39. > :39:50.Jorgensen will be counting down, drawing in the lead pack one by one.

:39:51. > :40:01.Gwen Jorgensen, she is catching up to Nicky Samuels. A little uphill

:40:02. > :40:21.stretch. Gwen Jorgensen is just cruising. She takes out Nicky

:40:22. > :40:31.Samuels. Gwen Jorgensen is looking so comfortable. Back with the

:40:32. > :40:37.leaders. Helen Jenkins is still in front, with Juri Ide just behind

:40:38. > :40:44.her. Kirsten Sweetland could not keep up with this speed. We had a

:40:45. > :40:53.group of three, but Helen Jenkins and Juri Ide now formed the leading

:40:54. > :40:59.pair. Gwen Jorgensen is right beside Emma Moffatt. Emma Moffatt is trying

:41:00. > :41:05.to react. Gwen Jorgensen is more than a match for the acceleration

:41:06. > :41:12.from 63 Mac. At the end of lap two, it is Helen Jenkins, Juri Ide.

:41:13. > :41:20.Contrasting styles between the two of them. Contrasting physical

:41:21. > :41:23.ships, as well. Helen Jenkins is trying to move away. Work will be

:41:24. > :41:31.reaching them that tempt to is approaching fast. Helen Jenkins

:41:32. > :41:37.might be able to see Gwen Jorgensen. Great indications for the

:41:38. > :41:45.Commonwealth Games 459 macro. She is really coming into her major

:41:46. > :41:53.championship form. Gwen Jorgensen is down to 33 seconds. That is so

:41:54. > :41:58.significant. She will be able to see them with just five kilometres to

:41:59. > :42:04.go. She will gradually close the gap. She will not be sprinting, she

:42:05. > :42:10.would need to. Gwen Jorgensen is closing down very quickly, very

:42:11. > :42:14.carefully. At the end of lap one she was 50 seconds behind, by the end of

:42:15. > :42:24.lap to she was only 33 seconds behind. Helen Jenkins and Juri Ide

:42:25. > :42:35.grab some water. You can see Kirsten Sweetland.

:42:36. > :42:44.Gwen Jorgensen is in the background. We can just spot her tall, lean

:42:45. > :42:50.shape as she attempts to close down this gap over the next five

:42:51. > :42:57.kilometres. Again, good indications of how strong the running of Helen

:42:58. > :43:06.Jenkins is. She did so much work, along with Juri Ide, at the front of

:43:07. > :43:13.pack one on the bicycles. No signs at all that Helen is fading. With

:43:14. > :43:17.the injuries she had, to be coming back, she will be feeling very

:43:18. > :43:28.happy, knowing that she will get more race fit. The gap is down to 28

:43:29. > :43:41.seconds between her and Gwen Jorgensen now. Gwen Jorgensen is up

:43:42. > :43:48.behind Kirsten Sweetland. Those water bottles are so small! Gwen

:43:49. > :43:57.Jorgensen moves away from Kirsten Sweetland. She is back into her

:43:58. > :44:04.groove and kicking clear. The leading pair are deep into the third

:44:05. > :44:08.lap now. A bit of extra speed here from Helen Jenkins and Juri Ide is

:44:09. > :44:15.trying to match. Temp to is stalking them. A gutsy performance by Juri

:44:16. > :44:25.Ide, he is refusing to let Helen Jenkins away. You can see Gwen

:44:26. > :44:31.Jorgensen closing. We will see what the time gap is only come to the end

:44:32. > :44:36.of this third lap. Gwen Jorgensen is in command at the moment. Helen

:44:37. > :44:42.Jenkins is running like a scared bunny at the moment! Juri Ide is

:44:43. > :44:44.still staying there. What a great performance from her. She is a

:44:45. > :45:04.tenacious. -- tenacious character. When they come round this hairpin,

:45:05. > :45:21.they will be able to go eyeball to eyeball with Gwen Jorgensen. --

:45:22. > :45:25.eyeball to eyeball. The gap will be comfortably under 30 seconds as they

:45:26. > :45:35.start the third lap. I think it will be between 15 and 20 seconds. Helen

:45:36. > :45:40.Jenkins is running very strongly. She looks good and has regained her

:45:41. > :45:58.running form. Juri Ide, what it remembers performance by her.

:45:59. > :46:04.Jenkins. Ide has gone for two. How is this going to turn out? Jorgensen

:46:05. > :46:15.heads left and picks up some more bottles. Water bottles all over the

:46:16. > :46:24.road. Littering area ends, it says on the left because there is litter

:46:25. > :46:34.on this road in Chicago. Out with the leaders, Helen Jenkins and Ide.

:46:35. > :46:39.Gwen Jorgensen is getting quicker. She is closing the gap. It is now

:46:40. > :46:48.within striking distance for Jorgensen. Jenkins will be desperate

:46:49. > :46:54.to hold on to first position. On a little slingshot turn. Jenkins tries

:46:55. > :47:01.to kick away from Ide but she has bigger things to worry about in the

:47:02. > :47:10.shape of Jorgensen. And officially I make the time gap 18 seconds. Almost

:47:11. > :47:17.on schedule. Doesn't she look powerful? Length of the stride,

:47:18. > :47:25.looks very relaxed. No extra movement. With these two leaders as

:47:26. > :47:32.well, Ide and Helen Jenkins refusing to give in. It is actually 16

:47:33. > :47:40.seconds. It will come down to the last kilometre. It is fascinating to

:47:41. > :47:47.watch as Jorgensen gets closer. She can measure her run against what her

:47:48. > :47:53.competitors are doing. She has her eyes firmly fixed on Ide and Jenkins

:47:54. > :47:57.in front. She can see the effort going into their final stages. She

:47:58. > :48:03.knows what she has got left in the tank. I don't think Jorgensen has

:48:04. > :48:09.stooped push as hard as she possibly can. I think she can run within

:48:10. > :48:16.herself and still win here in Chicago. She seems to be timing it

:48:17. > :48:21.perfectly and that is the thing, isn't it? Watching her coming

:48:22. > :48:33.through, coming past lap runners now. Helen Jenkins and Ide as well,

:48:34. > :48:41.Jorgensen closing as we go into this final lap. At the end of the first

:48:42. > :48:51.lap, Jorgensen's lead was 50 seconds. Now it will be somewhere

:48:52. > :48:58.between 14, 15 seconds as Jenkins and Ide come past more lapped

:48:59. > :49:02.runners as they hit transition. This is where the clock will stop and we

:49:03. > :49:08.will get an official time progress on Gwen Jorgensen. It is only five

:49:09. > :49:15.seconds! This race is hers for the winning. Jorgensen is going like the

:49:16. > :49:23.wind through the Windy city. Extraordinary running. I don't think

:49:24. > :49:30.Ide and Jenkins have slowed down but what an increase in pace from

:49:31. > :49:37.Jorgensen. She has come closer and the race is hers to lose now.

:49:38. > :49:47.Jorgensen will pick her moment, I guess. It will be a case of who will

:49:48. > :49:50.respond. When Jorgensen joins Jenkins and Ide, will she go with

:49:51. > :49:56.them, will she stay with them or a little while? Will she kick past

:49:57. > :50:02.them and we'll either of them be able to match her rush to mark you

:50:03. > :50:11.hope there will be a response, perhaps being out in the lead, you

:50:12. > :50:17.hope they have kept something in reserve. But I think they may have

:50:18. > :50:23.pushed it and pushed it hoping to stay away from Jurgensen in the

:50:24. > :50:29.beginning. Jurgensen has placed this so far and has been the predator.

:50:30. > :50:38.She has taken the race and is closing, closing. If there is a

:50:39. > :50:46.response from Helen Jenkins and Ide, it would be tremendous. Let's see

:50:47. > :50:54.what happens. Jorgensen joins the leaders and settles into their pace.

:50:55. > :51:00.She is alongside Ide. She can just sit in there and wait for the time

:51:01. > :51:06.to strike. Jorgensen is biding her time. She has closed the gap and run

:51:07. > :51:14.her way up through the field to join the leaders at the front. Now it is

:51:15. > :51:19.down to her when she makes the final bid for victory on home soil. Helen

:51:20. > :51:29.Jenkins leads for Great Britain. Ide for Japan. Gwen Jorgensen is third

:51:30. > :51:36.for the USA. Which way will it end? No slowing down from Helen Jenkins

:51:37. > :51:43.and, she has not given in. She will note Jorgensen is there, hear her

:51:44. > :51:47.breathing. There is the response from Helen Jenkins and, she has

:51:48. > :51:56.upped the pace and trying to move away from Ide. Jorgensen's response

:51:57. > :52:02.and it looks like Jorgensen will move up onto Helen's shoulder. Helen

:52:03. > :52:13.Jenkins still leads. Another little surge from Helen Jenkins son. --

:52:14. > :52:21.Jenkins. It is a drink and a shower for Jenkins. The world number one on

:52:22. > :52:29.the shoulder of Helen Jenkins, now. Ide is working hard to stay with

:52:30. > :52:40.them. Now they have a long stretch ahead. Jorgensen is just waiting for

:52:41. > :52:45.her moment. She is the best runner in the field. But you never know

:52:46. > :52:52.with Helen Jenkins on the comeback from the injury, the long lay-off

:52:53. > :52:58.post London 2012 where she spent so long in recovery. Dark days for

:52:59. > :53:05.Helen Jenkins and what a fightback it has been. Jorgensen waits for her

:53:06. > :53:13.time to strike and moves clear of Jenkins. A sudden kick from the

:53:14. > :53:21.American, that was spectacular. Jenkins has no answer. Ide is left

:53:22. > :53:28.trailing in third. Jorgensen leads, Jenkins in second, Ide in third.

:53:29. > :53:35.Look how much Jorgensen has in reserve. Jorgensen has played it

:53:36. > :53:41.brilliantly. She really did play it perfectly, huge acceleration and

:53:42. > :53:46.within five or ten strides she was five metres ahead. Is there any

:53:47. > :53:55.possibility of Helen Jenkins and Ide coming back? Jurgensen is turning

:53:56. > :54:01.the leg speed that little bit more. She will be counting down and

:54:02. > :54:08.probably I would think, feeling very confident that after that speed she

:54:09. > :54:14.has this race in the bag. Another magnificent performance over 10,000

:54:15. > :54:20.metres from when Jorgensen. Assuming she has timed it right, this victory

:54:21. > :54:24.is hers, in the bag to add to the windcheater in Japan. The victory

:54:25. > :54:34.over the sprint distance she took in Hyde Park. Jenkins has been joined

:54:35. > :54:42.by Ide. She has responded and fancies her chances of taking second

:54:43. > :54:48.place. These two were the long-time leaders and they have a race within

:54:49. > :54:55.a race now as they fight for second. Jurgensen has her sights on big tree

:54:56. > :54:59.in Chicago. She is so consistent. You know she will be in the front

:55:00. > :55:06.pack of the bike nine times out of ten. You always wonder if there is

:55:07. > :55:13.that extra bit of pace. Helen Jenkins will have been working with

:55:14. > :55:25.her husband seeing if there is any extra pace. Jenkins and Ide inject

:55:26. > :55:31.dinky little bit of extra pace. Jenkins testing Ide. They have a ten

:55:32. > :55:38.second deficit and they will not make up the time over Jurgensen. The

:55:39. > :55:45.leader and the chasers will eyeball each other again. Jurgensen just

:55:46. > :55:51.cruising through the gears now on the final stage of this triathlon.

:55:52. > :55:59.Swam well, 1500 metres in the harbour. Joined up with a chase

:56:00. > :56:05.group on two wheels. Lost a bit of time but kept it achievable. It was

:56:06. > :56:11.never more than a minute, a minute and a half she was on two wheels and

:56:12. > :56:16.when she dumped her by the end of the cycle, she knew she had a very

:56:17. > :56:23.good chance. We knew as well because we have seen her do it time and time

:56:24. > :56:28.again. Jenkins has moved away from Ide again. Ide responded the last

:56:29. > :56:36.time Jenkins broke, can she do it again? Jorgensen is out on her own

:56:37. > :56:45.as she bids to make it three in a row in the triathlon series in 2014.

:56:46. > :56:52.Gwen Jorgensen has overcame a bit of weakness on the swim and tactically

:56:53. > :56:57.on the bike. She would still say she is a learning triathletes, but when

:56:58. > :57:01.you have this running strength coming towards the end, it gives a

:57:02. > :57:06.little bit of capability to be able to make a slight backing off on the

:57:07. > :57:13.other disciplines knowing she has the magnificent strength on the

:57:14. > :57:18.final discipline of the run. Jorgensen can soak it up, she will

:57:19. > :57:26.fit the final stretch as Jenkins widens the gap to Ide to guarantee

:57:27. > :57:30.second position. The crowds are waiting for Gwen Jorgensen. There is

:57:31. > :57:37.a crescendo of noise. Another win on home soil. She hits blood look

:57:38. > :57:41.carpet and goes past where she parked her bike a little while ago.

:57:42. > :57:53.Starts to smile and relax. Gwen Jorgensen will win the world

:57:54. > :57:59.triathlon series event in Chicago. That is the smile of victory for

:58:00. > :58:03.Gwen Jorgensen. She takes the world triathlon series in Chicago

:58:04. > :58:08.comfortably. Jorgensen takes her third win of the new campaign,

:58:09. > :58:16.having won in Yokohama and again in London. Helen Jenkins maintains her

:58:17. > :58:21.excellent form since coming back from the long injury lay-off. She

:58:22. > :58:27.takes her third podium of the world triathlons series in 2014. And a

:58:28. > :58:34.smile that Ide as she crosses the line to take third for Japan. 27

:58:35. > :58:40.seconds off the pace of Gwen Jorgensen of the United States of

:58:41. > :58:48.America. Confirmation of the result. It is a record rating six win for

:58:49. > :58:56.Gwen Jorgensen. Helen Jenkins who led the field is so long in second

:58:57. > :59:03.with Ide not far behind. Annamaria Mazzetti just missed out on podium.

:59:04. > :59:08.Your parents talk about how special it is to win on a course that will

:59:09. > :59:14.be next year's grand final championships? So many friends and

:59:15. > :59:21.family, it is amazing. I didn't get the swim I wanted at the crowd

:59:22. > :59:27.pushed me through the finish. I knew she was catching and because it is

:59:28. > :59:33.so humid, I am not great in the humility, I was trying to keep

:59:34. > :59:46.myself together and I could not afford to back down. I knew she was

:59:47. > :59:52.coming. You would have known the gap distance, it was an opportunity to

:59:53. > :59:57.try to make up as much time as possible? It is hard to get the

:59:58. > :00:05.group working and the bike wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.

:00:06. > :00:06.But I loved the swim. Jorgensen extends her lead in the competition

:00:07. > :00:10.with Helen Jenkins her closest rival. Jodie Stimpson is third.

:00:11. > :00:15.Sarah Groff dropping down to fourth position. Ide is fifth overall.

:00:16. > :00:33.After that amazing effort, attention now turns to the men.

:00:34. > :00:49.Well, Jonathan Brownlee will move down the list because he is not here

:00:50. > :00:57.in Chicago. 27 macro is the only British man in the event.

:00:58. > :01:11.So, the race about to begin. Here we go! They are into Lake Michigan. The

:01:12. > :01:20.Chicago leg of the 2004 at teen ITU World Triathlon series begins in the

:01:21. > :01:23.cool waters of the great Lake. Somebody got kicked in the face

:01:24. > :01:31.there. It can be a scramble at the start. You can see the orange

:01:32. > :01:39.inflatables at the top of the screen, they will turn there. Not as

:01:40. > :01:47.choppy for the men as it was for the women. It is a lot more gentle

:01:48. > :01:50.indeed. The times in the women's race were significant lease slower

:01:51. > :02:07.than we have seen throughout the season. -- significantly. So, Javier

:02:08. > :02:14.Gomez Noya starting with Mario Mola alongside. This is a great

:02:15. > :02:21.opportunity for 27 macro for Great Britain. He could make a big

:02:22. > :02:44.breakthrough. Lots of young Americans getting the

:02:45. > :02:52.chance in this race. Guys like William Huffman, we don't see them

:02:53. > :03:02.week in week out in the series. We need to look out for Richard

:03:03. > :03:08.Mawrey, Joao Pereira. They should feature in the top ten in the

:03:09. > :03:18.absence of some of the big names, particularly the Brownlee brothers.

:03:19. > :03:35.You can see the tide conditions as they are turning three. -- turning

:03:36. > :03:41.through. In the bunch, we can see some really nasty things happening.

:03:42. > :03:50.Goggles removed, hats can get ripped. At times, they can come out

:03:51. > :03:56.of the water battered and bleeding, such is the level of confrontation

:03:57. > :04:15.that they can encounter. They are OK at the moment.

:04:16. > :04:29.I think Javier Gomez Noya was in fifth or sixth position. The women's

:04:30. > :04:36.race went through a lot slower because the conditions are much

:04:37. > :04:43.better. 27 macro is wearing number seven today. He is a very consistent

:04:44. > :04:48.racer. He finished third in the town event. I look forward to seeing how

:04:49. > :05:14.he progresses today. We can start to see the timings now.

:05:15. > :05:26.We saw Javier Gomez come out in ninth position.

:05:27. > :05:55.27 macro is in 17th position for Great Britain. Adam Bowden will be

:05:56. > :06:03.happy with his position in 17th. He is letting the other athletes do the

:06:04. > :06:12.work at the moment. We are starting to see the fields stretch out. I

:06:13. > :06:27.think about 25 people are starting to make a breakaway.

:06:28. > :06:37.There is the world number one, Javier Gomez Noya. He won the first

:06:38. > :06:42.race of the season, and again in Cape Town, and he made it three in a

:06:43. > :06:46.row in Yokohama. He didn't do quite so well in height Park last time out

:06:47. > :06:53.because the distance was shortened, he finished sixth. You don't want to

:06:54. > :06:59.get caught on the inside with the big unit behind you, climbing all

:07:00. > :07:06.over you and pushing you under. Most of these guys can look after

:07:07. > :07:11.themselves, but if you get trapped with three or four people looking

:07:12. > :07:22.for a close line around the inflatable, things can get nasty.

:07:23. > :07:38.A lot of the year the lake here is iced up. Ice breakers ply the lake

:07:39. > :07:43.trying to clear the shipping lanes. It is warm enough not to require wet

:07:44. > :07:51.suits. That is a big advantage for the real swimmers out there. With

:07:52. > :08:00.the Commonwealth Games this year, some of the athletes are perhaps

:08:01. > :08:05.looking on that as a priority, rather than going through the whole

:08:06. > :08:13.series. There is a requirement to do a huge number of races to qualify

:08:14. > :08:16.for the world Championships overall. For the athletes for the

:08:17. > :08:22.Commonwealth Games, another big race with silverware available. That has

:08:23. > :08:32.been the focus for the Brownlee brothers. It is not often they get

:08:33. > :08:36.to represent England. So, the first stage of the three sport triathlon

:08:37. > :08:47.is approaching its conclusion with the magnificent Chicago skyline.

:08:48. > :08:59.So, they will come out of the water, they will cross the road,

:09:00. > :09:03.which is closed for traffic. The first man died immediately takes out

:09:04. > :09:45.his swim happen goggles. A massive group of guys all within

:09:46. > :09:51.30 seconds of each other. We have 34 men within 30 seconds of each other.

:09:52. > :10:04.There is the chance we will have a huge pack of cyclists together. The

:10:05. > :10:10.crowds are getting excited seeing an American leaving first. He has

:10:11. > :10:32.Javier Gomez, the world number one, hot on his heels. It can be a little

:10:33. > :10:43.bit chaotic at times in there. Mario Mola and Adam Bowden were very close

:10:44. > :10:50.together in transition. With Mario Mola looking to get in front of the

:10:51. > :10:58.lead pack, I think there will be a lot of action early on on the bikes.

:10:59. > :11:10.This group of ten or so are trying to close down the leader. Canute

:11:11. > :11:21.can't possibly win this race, but he is certainly keen to make a mark. He

:11:22. > :11:32.will get to see the chasing pack as he makes the turn. Richard Murray

:11:33. > :11:39.finished on the podium in the last race in London. He wants to do some

:11:40. > :11:45.damage here in the absence of the Brownlee brothers. Over the full

:11:46. > :12:00.distance, I think he fancies his chances here.

:12:01. > :12:25.There is Javier Gomez, the world number one.

:12:26. > :12:39.Alexander Bryukhankov there, one of the Russians, he is a big old unit.

:12:40. > :12:46.The leader has been caught, and he joins the lead group. Richard Murray

:12:47. > :12:51.is desperately trying to catch up that gap. The lead pack is beginning

:12:52. > :12:59.to establish itself, beginning to work together. Canute is happy to be

:13:00. > :13:17.back in the pack, it seems. Great ride by Mario Mola. He was 30

:13:18. > :13:24.seconds down. He came out of the water alongside Adam Bowden from

:13:25. > :13:33.Great Britain. There is the man with the real pedigree in food recycling,

:13:34. > :13:57.Tom Davison. Cameron Good from Canada is right behind him. The lead

:13:58. > :14:06.group. Javier Gomez is still adjusting his footwear.

:14:07. > :14:15.A group of 30 riders together on this huge six Lane Hwy through the

:14:16. > :14:22.centre of Chicago. It is a lovely summer afternoon in Illinois. This

:14:23. > :14:31.is the graphic that shows you the difference between the lead group

:14:32. > :14:38.and Richard Murray, you was one of the favourites today but did not

:14:39. > :14:49.have a good swimmer. This is the second group, led by Richard Murray.

:14:50. > :14:52.He has some good cycling company. They can probably work faster than

:14:53. > :15:01.the big group, certainly on the turns. It is a lot to ask for

:15:02. > :15:07.Richard Murray to close down that gap. We know his running ability is

:15:08. > :15:17.fantastic and he can do some damage over 10,000 metres. He was second in

:15:18. > :15:35.London, third in Yokohama, fifth overall last year.

:15:36. > :15:41.Adam Bowden. 17th in the London Hyde Park race last month. We have lost

:15:42. > :15:50.Jones, the Canadian. Kyle Jones, number 18. Doesn't seem to have hurt

:15:51. > :15:56.himself. We issue me it is a mechanical issue for Kyle Jones.

:15:57. > :16:01.Back with the leaders. Tayama of Japan propping them up. Polyanskiy

:16:02. > :16:10.won't be far away. Tom Davidson pushes hard. One or two following

:16:11. > :16:15.avoiding the cones that separate the road. We saw a couple of the women

:16:16. > :16:22.crossing over to the wrong side of the street yesterday. It adds an

:16:23. > :16:28.element of surprise when he suddenly kicks away and those who want to go

:16:29. > :16:35.with him are taken aback by the speed he injects into a race. He is

:16:36. > :16:42.out of his seat. Seeing if anyone wants to go with him as he breaks

:16:43. > :16:48.down the hill. Davison has pushed clear. One of the Australians has

:16:49. > :16:56.tried to go with him. There he is, number 57, Tom Davison. Look how

:16:57. > :17:04.comfortable he is on those turns. Wishing it right to the edge of the

:17:05. > :17:08.tarmac. They will have to slow down behind him and he has a chance to

:17:09. > :17:14.stretch this lead even further. Maybe he has had enough of helping

:17:15. > :17:21.the others along. He glances behind to see who else is there. It is one

:17:22. > :17:25.of the Australians, I cannot tell you who it is yet. It could be

:17:26. > :17:37.Cameron Good. He was with the leaders. It looks for the first time

:17:38. > :17:50.perhaps we do have a little break away at the front. Tom Davison and

:17:51. > :18:06.Cameron Good. Tom Davison looks over and says, let's work this break. It

:18:07. > :18:12.would be a huge breakaway that Good. No words exchanged yet. An

:18:13. > :18:20.acknowledgement work needs to be done. They are away and so far, they

:18:21. > :18:30.are working well. Can Good match Davison? Davison, we know has the

:18:31. > :18:35.calibre on two wheels. Just avoids the cones. It is a part of the cause

:18:36. > :18:42.that scares me slightly. One group going in one direction and another

:18:43. > :18:48.group going in another direction. Hairpin bend coming. They go to the

:18:49. > :18:53.extreme left of the road. Davison shows the way and makes a much

:18:54. > :19:02.tighter turn. There is acid that can lead opening up for Cameron Good and

:19:03. > :19:07.Tom Davison. Tom Davison comes from Christchurch in New Zealand. 24

:19:08. > :19:14.years of age. Had a couple of knee reconstructions in his career which

:19:15. > :19:20.has a fact did his running ability. His cycling skills remain

:19:21. > :19:29.unparalleled. The end of the penultimate lap. We will get a look

:19:30. > :19:35.at the damage they have inflicted on the rest of them and whether it is

:19:36. > :19:41.good enough. Potentially for Cameron Good, I am not sure about Tom

:19:42. > :19:47.Davison's running ability. There are some great runners in the chasing

:19:48. > :19:53.group. They are a long way off the pace at this stage. 19 seconds was

:19:54. > :20:06.the gap at the end of the previous lap. Let's see how it stands

:20:07. > :20:13.officially at the end of lap seven. It looks like being around 28, 29,

:20:14. > :20:23.30 seconds, possibly. It is more than that, it is 34 seconds at the

:20:24. > :20:29.end of lap seven. Can Tom Davison stretch this another 15 seconds on

:20:30. > :20:36.the last lap? If he can it puts Cameron Good in a very strong

:20:37. > :20:44.position. 52nd, 215 metres going out of transition. It is a long way to

:20:45. > :20:55.close down. But as we sort with Gwen Jorgensen, an exceptional runner can

:20:56. > :21:00.do that. Richard Murray is still 57 seconds off the pace of these two,

:21:01. > :21:09.who are dictating this race. Starting to sense there could be an

:21:10. > :21:16.upset. That is more than they have done to stretch the gap from Richard

:21:17. > :21:23.Murray. Rather than impacting a lot of damage onto the chasing pack.

:21:24. > :21:30.Richard Murray, not only unable to close the gap but losing at you

:21:31. > :21:39.seconds each lap as they go through. -- a few seconds. Cameron Good of

:21:40. > :21:55.Australia. Tom Davison of New Zealand.

:21:56. > :22:06.An interesting time, one of his first ever visit to Europe, Tom

:22:07. > :22:11.Davison, was bitten by a spider in Germany and spent eight days in

:22:12. > :22:18.hospital! It was an interesting introduction to life on the road. He

:22:19. > :22:25.is very much a bike specialist and has won some big races on two

:22:26. > :22:27.wheels. His transition to triathlon hasn't always been smooth. Maybe

:22:28. > :22:37.this is the day when he makes the baked -- breakthrough. That time gap

:22:38. > :22:45.is eating out to around 40 seconds. Cameron Good is doing more work at

:22:46. > :22:52.the front to get more of a time advantage going through. Just the

:22:53. > :23:02.two of them, been together now for the last three lap. Gaining a few

:23:03. > :23:05.seconds each lap. As the race progresses and the riders behind

:23:06. > :23:09.them get more tired, but is more likely to grow that little bit more

:23:10. > :23:13.quickly. I bet both of them are running short on liquid. It is an

:23:14. > :23:18.empty bottle for Cameron Good. They will be looking forward to the

:23:19. > :23:25.transition and a chance to pick up water on their way out from the

:23:26. > :23:27.feeding stations. That is the Richard Murray group. It is closing

:23:28. > :23:33.in on the chase group. They may be surprised to find the chase group is

:23:34. > :23:42.without two of its racers who have broken away. They were 34 seconds

:23:43. > :23:51.clear. Richard Murray has a lot to do here if he is to make an impact

:23:52. > :23:55.in Chicago. Has Sven Riederer, an experienced triathlete that company.

:23:56. > :24:01.We only have a couple of minutes of riding from the leaders and then I

:24:02. > :24:06.think they will be something to watch coming into the running

:24:07. > :24:15.discipline. What a huge gap. We have still got these two brave enough to

:24:16. > :24:18.breakaway. Brave enough for Cameron Good to follow him and put in a sick

:24:19. > :24:36.ethic and amounts of work as well to ensure they do stay away. Cameron

:24:37. > :24:40.Good from Sydney and Tom Davison from Christchurch in New Zealand.

:24:41. > :24:46.What an impact they have had. Will they run to gather at the start?

:24:47. > :24:54.Will Davison have the pace to go with Good? How long can Davison stay

:24:55. > :25:03.near the front on the 10,000 metre run? We have seen how strong Tom is

:25:04. > :25:10.on the bike section but never to the situation where he is leading into

:25:11. > :25:23.transition. It will be great watching. Can either of them stay

:25:24. > :25:32.away? The time gap is squeezing out. Every pedal revolution, another half

:25:33. > :25:42.a second added. Cameron Green -- Cameron Good in the green and gold

:25:43. > :25:45.of Australia. The two Antipodean 's giving a really good account of

:25:46. > :25:51.themselves and there is nobody to eyeball them heading in the opposite

:25:52. > :25:59.direction, such is the lead they have opened up in this bike leg.

:26:00. > :26:05.Good is thinking about transition and reaches down to remove the

:26:06. > :26:09.straps from his shoes. Tom Davison looking at his feet and wants to get

:26:10. > :26:17.this right. They need to be in and out quickly. So, Good takes his foot

:26:18. > :26:24.out of tissue and rests it on top for the final stages of this race.

:26:25. > :26:28.Heading towards transition. Last time they came in here they were 34

:26:29. > :26:34.seconds clear. They may have added another view as they approach the

:26:35. > :26:39.end of their eighth and final lap after an hour and a quarter of

:26:40. > :26:48.swimming and cycling. At the dismount line. No problems for

:26:49. > :26:53.number 57, Tom Davison of New Zealand and number 16, Cameron Good

:26:54. > :26:57.of Australia. Davison dumps his helmet and heads out of transition.

:26:58. > :27:04.He will go past Cameron Good, who will not be far behind him. We will

:27:05. > :27:10.look at the chasing group. It is a massive group. The two groups

:27:11. > :27:16.converging. We have Adam Bowden near the front is coming into

:27:17. > :27:26.transition. It was 34 seconds at the end of lap seven. Up the end of lap

:27:27. > :27:27.eight, it is a few seconds ago. Up towards 40 seconds.

:27:28. > :27:32.eight, it is a few seconds ago. Up 42 seconds in total between the

:27:33. > :27:41.leaders and the chasers. Adam bowed, a third of the chasing group in.

:27:42. > :27:47.Andrew Yorke is there, Pereira is there. Canute is there and Richard

:27:48. > :27:54.Murray has finally managed to get up with the leaders and will attempt to

:27:55. > :27:56.show his explosive running capabilities as they head out onto

:27:57. > :28:04.the streets of Chicago or the final stage. Mario Mola is a threat. Let's

:28:05. > :28:10.watch him go to work as he tries to force his way up through the field

:28:11. > :28:18.here over this 10,000 metre run. Four laps to go. There's job to

:28:19. > :28:22.close down these two. Cameron Good leads, Tom Davison pushed back to

:28:23. > :28:30.second. How long can they stay out in front with the strongest runners

:28:31. > :28:34.forcing their way in contention. Everybody getting water at the first

:28:35. > :28:40.opportunity apart from Javier Gomez who is staying clear at this stage.

:28:41. > :28:46.Just was offered a drink by an opponent. They are showering and

:28:47. > :28:53.dousing themselves down in water, trying to keep cool. A little group

:28:54. > :28:59.forming with Tony Dodds and Adam Boutin. Polyanskiy, one of the

:29:00. > :29:09.Russians on the left. -- Adam Bowden. There is Gomez. Early

:29:10. > :29:20.indications certainly show perhaps the pace of that big chase pack

:29:21. > :29:29.wasn't that fast because the leg turnover is good, and look to be

:29:30. > :29:37.closing already. Tom Davison is falling behind Cameron Good very

:29:38. > :29:39.quickly and quite dramatically. Responsibility on Gomez and Richard

:29:40. > :29:48.Murray allowing themselves to stay down on the chasing pack. Huge

:29:49. > :29:59.responsibility on them to close it down. A look back at Cameron Good's

:30:00. > :30:01.preparation or transition. Look at his speed in his running shoes

:30:02. > :30:03.across the tarmac. It won't be long before he is caught. Decent runner

:30:04. > :30:14.but he does not have the speed of Gomez and Moeller and the Russians

:30:15. > :30:29.and Adam Bowden. -- Mario Mola. To win a race of this stature, you have

:30:30. > :30:34.to be an exceptional athlete. In the women's race, you could see hide

:30:35. > :30:44.Gwen Jorgensen has worked so hard on the other aspect apart from the

:30:45. > :30:52.running of the triathlon. And the tax ex. That is a huge performance

:30:53. > :30:58.by the Russian, Dmitry Polyanskiy. He is trying to break down this a

:30:59. > :31:07.group of runners. It is good to see Adam Bowden there as well, looking

:31:08. > :31:11.comfortable. We know that Alexander Bryukhankov is a good runner. He

:31:12. > :31:24.finished in seventh position at the London Olympics. He is no match for

:31:25. > :31:31.Mario Mola. This is our leader, Cameron Good. He is running well,

:31:32. > :31:43.but his being caught. That is the distance between him and the chasing

:31:44. > :31:52.group. Cameron Good can see them coming. He knows it is a lost cause.

:31:53. > :32:03.There is Fernando Alarza. Three Spaniards and the Portuguese in that

:32:04. > :32:17.group. Richard Murray is not far behind, trying to get with them.

:32:18. > :32:28.This leading group of six includes Adam Bowden from Great Britain.

:32:29. > :32:31.There is an opportunity for Adam Bowden to maybe even get on the

:32:32. > :32:45.podium. That would be a significant victory for him. At the moment,

:32:46. > :33:02.Richard Murray seems content to stay behind that group. The fit speed of

:33:03. > :33:09.Cameron Good is down to something slightly quicker than a job. I think

:33:10. > :33:15.he has had his moments of fee. This group is hunting him down. You have

:33:16. > :33:29.to hand it to Cameron Good, he had the bravery to go for it. Maybe it

:33:30. > :33:34.is a learning experience for him. Maybe if he focuses on his training

:33:35. > :33:43.next time, he could come through. These are the real runners in the

:33:44. > :33:47.field coming through. We said that Richard Murray would be up with that

:33:48. > :33:57.group, but if anything it appears he is struggling to maintain contact

:33:58. > :34:07.with that group. Brendan Sexton is just on the shoulder of the script.

:34:08. > :34:14.One Australian will join the leaders well another Australian is being

:34:15. > :34:25.caught. What a race by Cameron Good. He is the man who took it on. It was

:34:26. > :34:36.a good move. It might yet bring him the best result of his season.

:34:37. > :34:40.Brendan Sexton looks like the stronger of the two Australian

:34:41. > :34:54.runners. We are approaching the end of the first lap. To his credit,

:34:55. > :35:00.Cameron Good has held onto his lead. Dmitry Polyanskiy is there, he was

:35:01. > :35:13.third in Cape Town, he is not far away. Cameron Good is getting

:35:14. > :35:19.caught. All credit to him. He will have to give way to the three

:35:20. > :35:25.Spaniards and Joao Pereira. Adam Bowden seems to be struggling.

:35:26. > :35:33.Dmitry Polyanskiy and Brendan Sexton are trying to close the gap. Let's

:35:34. > :35:40.not write off Richard Murray yet. He does tend to leave something for the

:35:41. > :35:47.end of the race. It is 33 degrees here today. It does appear that

:35:48. > :35:51.Richard Murray is making a huge effort just a bridge that gap and he

:35:52. > :35:56.is not able to do it. We thought Alexander Bryukhankov might just be

:35:57. > :36:02.waiting for it to come down to the last couple of kilometres, but he

:36:03. > :36:12.hasn't done that. He has really lifted up the speed. Adam Bowden is

:36:13. > :36:22.still within a great opportunity, to get on the podium. Alexander

:36:23. > :36:34.Bryukhankov is still working very hard indeed. These two men, Mario

:36:35. > :36:47.Mola and Javier Gomez Noya, between them they have won all of the races

:36:48. > :36:52.so far. 23 IIMACRO1 in London. They are out in front. They have had a

:36:53. > :36:58.couple of big sprint battles between them so far this season, including

:36:59. > :37:05.the thrilling finish in Japan where Javier Gomez sneaked ahead in the

:37:06. > :37:12.final few metres. They are joined at the front right Joao Pereira, he was

:37:13. > :37:23.on the podium in London at the end of last month. Richard Murray was

:37:24. > :37:36.second in London but falling back today. Big performance there by Joao

:37:37. > :37:41.Pereira. It is still relatively early in this run. Does Richard

:37:42. > :37:50.Murray have anything left in reserve? Mario Mola is going to the

:37:51. > :38:03.front, starting to force the speed. He is looking to see if he can burn

:38:04. > :38:07.off Javier Gomez and Mario Mola. A little glance behind by Javier

:38:08. > :38:22.Gomez. Mario Mola is unable to get away.

:38:23. > :38:28.Three men from the Iberian peninsular leading the way in

:38:29. > :38:37.Chicago. They are clear of the field. Mario Mola takes his chance

:38:38. > :38:43.to have a look over. Just checking out the forum. If I make another

:38:44. > :38:58.move, do I have the speed to get away from them? Joao Pereira is

:38:59. > :39:06.covering everything at the moment. These runners at the front and

:39:07. > :39:12.beginning to stretch. That initial big leading pack is beginning to get

:39:13. > :39:32.very stretched out. Just about half of the run distance to go. They are

:39:33. > :39:46.setting a really fast speed. Joao Pereira moving alongside.

:39:47. > :39:59.Mario Mola looks the more relaxed of the three at this stage. Even

:40:00. > :40:03.without Jonathan Brownlee and Alistair Brownlee here, people are

:40:04. > :40:17.saying there is a change of guard at the front. Javier Gomez and 23 have

:40:18. > :40:22.realised what it needs to be at the very top of this game. They have

:40:23. > :40:28.been consistently getting up to the front. It has been a huge

:40:29. > :40:31.breakthrough for Mario Mola, winning just a couple of weeks back. Javier

:40:32. > :41:03.Gomez looks behind. Javier Gomez Noya, born in

:41:04. > :41:10.Switzerland. Still hungry for success. Still has his eyes on the

:41:11. > :41:15.next Olympics. The two Spanish boys inject a bit of speed on the hairpin

:41:16. > :41:21.turn. I think Joao Pereira has it covered. He is gritting his teeth.

:41:22. > :41:26.His head is beginning to roll, but he covered the break. Good reactions

:41:27. > :41:32.from Joao Pereira. He had to dig deep to get the strength to get back

:41:33. > :41:39.on terms with the Spanish boys. That was a huge effort. PDF he let that

:41:40. > :41:44.gap open, the likelihood of him unable to close it was very

:41:45. > :41:52.unlikely. Adam Bowden is still in fourth place.

:41:53. > :42:03.It looks like the two Spanish boys have got away from Joao Pereira.

:42:04. > :42:08.What is the possibility of Adam Bowden closing down? Does he have

:42:09. > :42:14.the opportunity to make the podium? He will be watching Joao Pereira in

:42:15. > :42:30.front of him, I wear that he has been left behind by Javier Gomez

:42:31. > :42:38.Noya and Mario Mola. So, they are completing half distance. Joao

:42:39. > :42:50.Pereira is breathing heavily, blowing hard. The end of lap to.

:42:51. > :43:03.What a race this has been in Chicago. Lots to enjoy. Javier Gomez

:43:04. > :43:11.and Mario Mola, the two best triathletes this season so far. Adam

:43:12. > :43:19.Bowden is in fourth position. 15 seconds between first and fourth.

:43:20. > :43:36.Joao Pereira still has ten seconds on Adam Bowden in fourth.

:43:37. > :43:50.It looks like Javier Gomez is making his move early on to try to stretch

:43:51. > :44:00.away. Cameron Good is still up there. Mario Mola had to watch as

:44:01. > :44:18.compatriot around that turn. Javier Gomez can just pull away. We are at

:44:19. > :44:24.down to the last 3.3 kilometres on the roads in Jakarta Globe to

:44:25. > :44:27.determine who will win around five of the ITU World Triathlon series.

:44:28. > :44:28.the roads in Jakarta Globe to determine who will win around It

:44:29. > :44:35.looks like the stranglehold by the Spanish boys will remain intact. He

:44:36. > :44:41.has the sprint finish to make it count? Will it be Javier Gomez to

:44:42. > :44:46.take his fourth win of the season, or will Mario Mola take a second? We

:44:47. > :44:52.have got so used to seeing outstanding running in the women's

:44:53. > :44:58.events and the men's events. This is taking it to another level. Javier

:44:59. > :45:04.Gomez is pushing, pushing, pushing. I think we could see a sub 30 clock

:45:05. > :45:08.for the ten kilometres. Every time Javier Gomez pushes, Mario Mola

:45:09. > :45:27.covers. Javier Gomez has gone! He suddenly

:45:28. > :45:33.went for it. A little burst of acceleration from Javier Gomez.

:45:34. > :45:39.Mario Mola could not cover its. Not initially. Maybe he will find a way

:45:40. > :45:54.to close the gap. Is that a terminal break from Javier Gomez? This might

:45:55. > :46:03.be significant. A sudden burst from Javier Gomez. That might have just

:46:04. > :46:08.brought him success. That comes from a man who is prepared to hurt. The

:46:09. > :46:14.pit such a significant burst of pace, just as big -- a change of

:46:15. > :46:20.speed, that is extraordinary. He opened a gap of five seconds in a

:46:21. > :46:31.very short distance. He is really pumping those elbows. He has

:46:32. > :46:39.maintained his early speed. At the moment, it looks as if Mario Mola

:46:40. > :46:43.cannot get back to him. Does he have the capability to close the gap?

:46:44. > :46:48.Javier Gomez has put down his marker. If Mario Mola gets back

:46:49. > :46:54.level, with there be anything left for Javier Gomez? At the moment,

:46:55. > :47:07.Javier Gomez really is the number one triathletes in the world for the

:47:08. > :47:17.men. They are battling it out here for fourth position. Adam Bowden

:47:18. > :47:27.from Great Britain. Fernando Alarza from Spain, Dmitry Polyanskiy from

:47:28. > :47:36.Russia. One laps left. It is a familiar figure at the front. Javier

:47:37. > :47:41.Gomez Noya from Spain is on his way potentially to his fourth World

:47:42. > :47:51.Triathlon series win of the year. He was the Olympic silver medallist.

:47:52. > :47:58.This is the trio trying to sort themselves out. Joao Pereira is

:47:59. > :48:11.still in front of them. Officially he is still in third, but 25 seconds

:48:12. > :48:18.behind Javier Gomez. The pack are catching up with Joao Pereira.

:48:19. > :48:31.Brendan Sexton is six seconds behind the pack.

:48:32. > :48:40.Once again, Javier Gomez avoids heading for the water station. Joao

:48:41. > :48:48.Pereira seems to have picked it up again. He seems to be moving along

:48:49. > :48:57.quite comfortably. He will take some water. One for a shower, one for a

:48:58. > :49:04.drink. Javier Gomez continues to lap runner after runner on his way to

:49:05. > :49:09.his fourth win of the year. The golden number one on his arm, that

:49:10. > :49:17.is the man trying to fend off the challenge from behind from a

:49:18. > :49:24.Russian, another Spaniard hands Adam Bowden from Great Britain. Brave

:49:25. > :49:31.performance by Joao Pereira. He has lifted his speed. He just backed off

:49:32. > :49:40.bits, he is really pushing it through. He has to work so hard to

:49:41. > :49:47.maintain his third position. With three athletes working together

:49:48. > :49:53.behind Javier Gomez close-down. Mario Mola has to watch as his

:49:54. > :50:02.compatriot heads in the opposite direction.

:50:03. > :50:15.If Joao Pereira keeps it together, he should have enough to get on the

:50:16. > :50:22.podium. So, this is the man, unless something happens, should get the

:50:23. > :50:32.first position. He is the best in the world, has beaten allcomers. The

:50:33. > :50:36.Brownlee brothers had a go, bats he managed to beat them. The only time

:50:37. > :50:41.he was beaten this year was Mario Mola, in the London race that was

:50:42. > :50:58.shortened. This is his distance, the Olympic distance.

:50:59. > :51:09.group. Takes his turn and does not get fazed if there is a breakaway.

:51:10. > :51:15.Does not panic if Davison and Good move away. He has had the better

:51:16. > :51:24.speed than Mario Mola and that is saying something because he is a

:51:25. > :51:34.fantastic runner. Javier Gomez Noya of Spain. The strength of Gomez in a

:51:35. > :51:38.race, he does not just give up. He looks at what he has done wrong,

:51:39. > :51:42.looks at the strengths of the other athletes and responds to that. The

:51:43. > :51:49.ability he has two put the huge pressure he showed a kilometre ago,

:51:50. > :51:56.just by lifting 3.5 kilometres out, it is the tough way to do it. Total

:51:57. > :52:02.commitment but that is the way to win. He is going away now. There is

:52:03. > :52:10.a big opportunity for Pereira, having gone through the bad patch.

:52:11. > :52:20.He looks over and sees Pereira is coming right back. Pereira cruises

:52:21. > :52:27.past him. Jo?o Pereira who could not go with the initial burst when the

:52:28. > :52:35.Spaniards went away, has taken advantage of a weakening Mario Mola.

:52:36. > :52:41.Gomez shows no signs of any fragility at this stage. Within the

:52:42. > :52:50.last 1000 metres, the victory is within his grasp now. Mario Mola in

:52:51. > :52:56.third stop Pereira has gone into second position. We might have two

:52:57. > :53:02.Spaniards on the podium again. Looks like Pereira will be between them,

:53:03. > :53:12.the Portuguese on his way to second position. He has found something

:53:13. > :53:19.from somewhere. Gomez takes a right-hand turn and that is where he

:53:20. > :53:24.kicked away from Mario Mola. Now the gap is sit applicant. The gap is

:53:25. > :53:31.significant but I am not sure he is moving any further away. --

:53:32. > :53:36.significant. Just going past Mario Mola must have given him so much

:53:37. > :53:41.confidence knowing he can recover from a bad spell and still have that

:53:42. > :53:47.ability. The doubts must have been there going through third place and

:53:48. > :53:47.then doubting whether he would get on the podium.

:53:48. > :53:50.there going through third place and then doubting whether he would Then

:53:51. > :53:56.he comes back and goes past Mario Mola and maintains that pace.

:53:57. > :54:03.Refuses to let Gomez go any further ahead of him. I might as well give

:54:04. > :54:11.the World Championship title and the triathlon series to Gomez at this.

:54:12. > :54:18.He is unstoppable at the top of the table with races in hamburg,

:54:19. > :54:27.Stockholm and Edmonton to come. There is an unbelievable

:54:28. > :54:31.performance. Winds in Auckland, Cape Town and Yokohama. He was forced off

:54:32. > :54:35.the podium in the sprint in London but has returned to the preferred

:54:36. > :54:44.Olympic distance here in Chicago and has put down a race of outstanding

:54:45. > :54:50.quality. In the water, on two wheels and over 10,000 metres. There has

:54:51. > :54:59.been no want to touch Javier Gomez of Spain. Now he can taste victory.

:55:00. > :55:07.Crowd starting to welcome him home. Photographs and supports. Glancing

:55:08. > :55:10.over his shoulder to see where the next best athlete, which is Jo?o

:55:11. > :55:16.Pereira, is. Runs past the bikes parked up and he can smile and enjoy

:55:17. > :55:22.the moment. The first World Series triathlon race to be held in Chicago

:55:23. > :55:28.will go the way of Javier Gomez Noya of Spain. Raises his finger. Another

:55:29. > :55:35.win for the Spaniard. Has done it in style in Chicago. Jo?o Pereira must

:55:36. > :55:41.be applauded for that recovery and fight back. His race looked to be

:55:42. > :55:50.lost but he fought back to take second position. Mario Mola is about

:55:51. > :55:54.to finish. He was beaten first by Gomez and then Pereira. All three

:55:55. > :56:00.are absolutely shattered in the heat of the afternoon in Chicago. Waiting

:56:01. > :56:06.for the next man home. It might be one of the Russians. I think it

:56:07. > :56:12.might be Dmitri Polyanskiy. He finishes in fourth position. 39

:56:13. > :56:21.seconds off the pace. Alarza of Spain is next. Fabian Picardo the

:56:22. > :56:27.Italian is next across insects. Adam Bowden in the top ten again.

:56:28. > :56:34.Excellent results, seventh position and the only British triathlete in

:56:35. > :56:46.the race today. Yet another win for Javier Gomez Noya of Spain. One .47

:56:47. > :56:49..21 of sheer quality. Confirmation of the final results. Another

:56:50. > :56:58.sensational windfall have via Gomez Noya. The head of Jo?o Pereira and

:56:59. > :57:07.Mario Mola with an excellent seventh position for Adam Bowden of Great

:57:08. > :57:12.Britain. It is amazing. It was a tough race. Everybody was there

:57:13. > :57:14.after the bike. I wasn't very fast because I was injured a few weeks

:57:15. > :57:25.ago. I felt comfortable the first two laps. I gave my best and went as

:57:26. > :57:32.part as I could in the third. I am training a lot and I feel very good

:57:33. > :57:40.in Chicago. It is a very hard race and very humid. I am not a good

:57:41. > :57:47.runner and at the finish I am feeling very good. Javier Gomez at

:57:48. > :57:54.the top of the standings is rock standing. Jonathan Brownlee is in

:57:55. > :57:59.third, ahead of Richard Murray Angelo Perera has moved up to fifth.

:58:00. > :58:05.It is a return to Europe for round six of the competition next month as

:58:06. > :58:09.hamburg hosts not only men's and women's sprint races, but the mixed

:58:10. > :58:14.relay world Championships as well. Live coverage begins at 3pm on the

:58:15. > :58:21.red button on Saturday July the 12th. And at 3:15pm the following

:58:22. > :58:24.day for the mixed relay. Extended highlights of these events can be

:58:25. > :58:30.seen on BBC Two on Monday the 4th of July one p.m.. That is it from a

:58:31. > :58:35.memorable meeting in Chicago which saw a record-breaking went on home

:58:36. > :58:40.soil for Gwen Jorgensen. We hope you have enjoyed it. Until next time,

:58:41. > :58:46.good night. -- goodbye.
