:00:59. > :01:03.Welcome to another city for another world triathlon event. We are in
:01:04. > :01:08.Hamburg and it is the last one before Rio. -- Rio de Janiero. Most
:01:09. > :01:11.of the team have opted for altitude training but many of the world's
:01:12. > :01:18.Best archaeological promises to be fast and furious. That's because it
:01:19. > :01:23.is the annual festival and, looking for three in a row, the dominant
:01:24. > :01:31.force, Gwen Jorgensen of the USA. She is up against the only woman to
:01:32. > :01:45.have beaten her in a World Series race, Helen Jenkins. Spain's Mario
:01:46. > :01:48.Mola is back. And it is a welcome return for Richard Murray, after he
:01:49. > :01:55.broke his collarbone. We will hear from them later in the programme.
:01:56. > :02:02.Some great racing in store but the big news is about who is not here.
:02:03. > :02:06.Five times world champion Javier Gomez announced he would not be
:02:07. > :02:13.going to Rio de Janiero. He said he had come off his bike during a
:02:14. > :02:18.training exercise and he had broken his elbow and required surgery. With
:02:19. > :02:22.the race only 32 days away he acknowledged he would not have
:02:23. > :02:30.enough time to get to the start line fit and ready. Obviously a huge
:02:31. > :02:38.disappointment. Jonny Brownlee tweeted his sadness and
:02:39. > :02:48.disappointment that he would not be participating. It is devastating,
:02:49. > :02:52.you don't want that for any athlete. Everyone will be disappointed
:02:53. > :02:59.because you want to race the best. Javier Gomez has only one thing left
:03:00. > :03:04.to complete for his CV, he wants the Olympic title. It is bad for the
:03:05. > :03:09.Spanish team and for him. It is bad news for the triathlon. I think the
:03:10. > :03:15.Olympics will not be the same without him. I feel for him and it
:03:16. > :03:21.is bad luck, terrible timing, he's a great champion and everyone would
:03:22. > :03:27.have loved to see him in Rio. Everybody likes to see a good show.
:03:28. > :03:39.It is sad not to have him competing but with the likes of Mario and the
:03:40. > :03:42.Brownlees, we will not be short of talent, but it is always nice to
:03:43. > :03:53.have the Spanish Armada racing together. The race will not be the
:03:54. > :04:02.same but I hope to race for Spain. There is nothing you can do. You
:04:03. > :04:10.cannot compete with a broken arm. He's a strong character, he will
:04:11. > :04:15.bounce back, and other guys will be fearing him come the end of the
:04:16. > :04:16.season. We will have more reaction to that later in the programme.
:04:17. > :04:29.Let's move on to the women's race. Flora Duffy's victory in Stockholm
:04:30. > :04:36.enabled her to extend her lead against Jodie Stimpson. She is back
:04:37. > :04:40.to try and narrow the gap between them and Andrea Hewitt is in second
:04:41. > :04:46.place. With just one more race to come, Jodie Stimpson has everything
:04:47. > :04:52.to play for as she aims for her first world title.
:04:53. > :05:04.The good news as far as non-Stanson is concerned is her injury is fine.
:05:05. > :05:13.Helen Jenkins is here, beating the seemingly unbeatable Gwen Jorgensen.
:05:14. > :05:19.She is here as well so all eyes are on the two of them competing. Gwen
:05:20. > :05:35.Jorgensen is not used to this. That was the first time they had
:05:36. > :05:45.lost, are you prepared for that focus? I get asked about this, is it
:05:46. > :05:56.a psychological rematch? I don't think either of us are thinking
:05:57. > :06:04.that. It is a step in the process. I think Gwen is still the overwhelming
:06:05. > :06:09.favourite. Since the World Cup she has two series victories. I don't
:06:10. > :06:16.see myself as a major contender in this race to her but come Rio,
:06:17. > :06:24.hopefully it will be different. What are your reflections on your
:06:25. > :06:30.performance in Stockholm? I'm happy. To come away with a podium was
:06:31. > :06:39.great. I made life hard for myself and I have to work hard on the bike.
:06:40. > :06:48.To come away with another podium was a good result. One of the
:06:49. > :06:54.revelations of the Stockholm race was how well Flora Duffy ran. She
:06:55. > :06:58.comes into contention. I think she has definitely been a medal
:06:59. > :07:10.contender in my mind for a while. She ran better than we expected. We
:07:11. > :07:20.got that gap to within 45 seconds. You've got to get that realisation.
:07:21. > :07:31.It was a step towards race fitness. You learn a lot, every time you
:07:32. > :07:41.race, you learn you cannot give her any time. Is the sprint distance
:07:42. > :07:46.good? I think so, hopefully I recover from it quick. I have never
:07:47. > :07:54.got a podium on a sprint distance world Champion series. It is nice to
:07:55. > :08:07.be injured, to come and race and not have too much pressure on myself. I
:08:08. > :08:13.am joined by Gwen Jorgensen's coach and husband. How is her mindset
:08:14. > :08:19.before the race? Really good, she loves coming to Hamburg. When they
:08:20. > :08:30.announced the calendar it was one that we knew we were doing. It is
:08:31. > :08:34.all about Rio, how are you dealing with the pressure? It is still on.
:08:35. > :08:48.All these races are second or third tier. We are focusing on Rio. First
:08:49. > :08:53.time you have competed against Helen, when Gwen lost. Is there a
:08:54. > :09:01.plan to send a message to show that she is back on form? The race can be
:09:02. > :09:05.won and lost in the first 22 metres, you've got to get out as quick as
:09:06. > :09:09.possible and see where the chips have fallen. Time for race
:09:10. > :09:23.highlights. Welcome to hamburger. The tour began
:09:24. > :09:33.in Abu Dhabi before switching to the Gold Coast and then reconvened in
:09:34. > :09:40.Cape Town. It was Yokohama next before the European races began. Now
:09:41. > :09:48.we are in Hamburg. This is where the race will take place. They swim
:09:49. > :09:52.under this bridge and out of the transition area and then they raid
:09:53. > :09:59.six laps around the city centre passed the main railway station
:10:00. > :10:16.across one of the 2500 bridges that litter this beautiful city by the
:10:17. > :10:35.sea. Then there is a five K run to finish. 750 metres swim, 20 K cycle
:10:36. > :10:40.and a five K run. There is the American, looking for three in a row
:10:41. > :10:45.in Hamburg. The unstoppable Gwen Jorgensen. It will be interesting.
:10:46. > :11:12.Jodie Stimpson wears number one. I Ainhoa Murua, the oldest in the
:11:13. > :11:20.race, winning number 17. The countdown begins, the latest race of
:11:21. > :11:29.the triathlon series. They are ready to go and they are under way. It
:11:30. > :11:35.will be done and dusted inside one hour.
:11:36. > :11:43.Good afternoon to Annie Emerson. This is a very exciting field. We're
:11:44. > :11:51.missing some big names. British names have sat it out. Flora Duffy
:11:52. > :12:02.taking a rest after that phenomenal victory. What a line-up we have with
:12:03. > :12:08.Gwen Jorgensen here. The weather conditions today, warm enough out of
:12:09. > :12:16.the water but pretty chilly within. A single lap of these waters and
:12:17. > :12:22.they will go out and under the bridge towards the transition area
:12:23. > :12:29.to pick up their bikes. This field already beginning to spread. It
:12:30. > :12:32.looks like there are three little groups but don't be fooled, they
:12:33. > :12:41.will join up as they head towards the turnaround point. They are
:12:42. > :12:50.jostling for position as they head towards the turn. You can see them
:12:51. > :12:59.get stuck underneath, it can be a little nasty at times. Taking a
:13:00. > :13:05.wider line. Look at them on the inside, they will need to stop. They
:13:06. > :13:17.will go round the inflatables to keep on track.
:13:18. > :13:26.Helen Jenkins is one of the big favourites, but did not have a great
:13:27. > :13:47.swim in Stockholm. We've got to keep our eyes peeled for Helen Jenkins.
:13:48. > :13:50.Absolutely breathless today, no wind to create any choppy waves on the
:13:51. > :13:56.water. Here they come under the bridge towards the transition area,
:13:57. > :14:02.and the line under the bridge is being marked out by the trio of
:14:03. > :14:08.kayakers on the left of the screen. They go into the darkness beneath
:14:09. > :14:18.the bridge. When they return to daylight we will get a look at who
:14:19. > :14:26.is emerging first. Effortless through the water from Lucy Hall.
:14:27. > :14:29.Getting warmly welcomed by the supporters dangling their feet over
:14:30. > :14:33.the sides and watching at close quarters the tail end of the first
:14:34. > :14:40.stage of this triathlon. What a welcome they are getting.
:14:41. > :14:50.There is the exit. After 9.5 minutes, Lucy Hall will claim the
:14:51. > :14:51.ramp ahead of everybody else and prepare for transition. Lively start
:14:52. > :15:00.in Hamburg. Hall out of the water. It is Lucy Hall then Anastasia
:15:01. > :15:30.Abrosimova. Helen Jenkins comes out in amongst
:15:31. > :15:35.that first Group. They arrive at their bikes in transition and now
:15:36. > :15:41.the multitasking continues. Glasses on, out of the wet suit, closely
:15:42. > :15:45.followed by the best in the world, Gwen Jorgensen, who does the same. A
:15:46. > :15:49.steely look in the eyes of the American as she focuses on stage
:15:50. > :15:56.two. Good in and out of the transition area.
:15:57. > :16:02.The wet suit is in the plastic box and away they go. We are likely to
:16:03. > :16:08.get a big group forming at the start of the cycle on lap one. We could
:16:09. > :16:16.see a group forming of a dozen or more. They are quite well spread as
:16:17. > :16:23.they begin to cycle around the city of Hamburg. Lucy Hall looking over
:16:24. > :16:28.her shoulder to see who is with her. This is very much her race. I think
:16:29. > :16:31.she will work hard and see what you can do. Helen Jenkins and Jodie
:16:32. > :16:36.Stimpson behind her but I think today Lucy Hall will be working for
:16:37. > :16:43.herself. It is technical which suits her good cycling skills. A huge
:16:44. > :16:47.pack, 20 or 25 strong, and we think this will contain Jodie Stimpson and
:16:48. > :16:51.Jenkins from Great Britain. There might be some hard work going on
:16:52. > :16:59.within this group to try and bridge the chase group of about eight and
:17:00. > :17:06.then hopefully as the race unfolds, the leading group, which is again a
:17:07. > :17:16.total of eight. Zaferes, the American, up
:17:17. > :17:23.alongside Klamer as they get towards the end of lap run, as well as
:17:24. > :17:29.Carolyn routine you. We will have the names for you. The graphic for
:17:30. > :17:45.you will give you the exact eight riders involved.
:17:46. > :18:10.Charlotte McShane has got work to do. This pack is well placed, with
:18:11. > :18:14.just eight athletes, to work really well and keep pushing the pace and
:18:15. > :18:18.to stay away from the chase pack. Because of the nature of the cause,
:18:19. > :18:24.it is hard to make up time when you are in a big pack. Helen Jenkins is
:18:25. > :18:30.more than 20 seconds off the pace. This is a huge group of about 30. We
:18:31. > :18:38.think this is the Helen Jenkins and Jodie Stimpson group. We think they
:18:39. > :18:42.are both in this pack. The lead group setting a cracking pace in the
:18:43. > :18:48.early stages here. They have seized the initiative and as they head
:18:49. > :18:53.towards the end of the second lap of six, each lap consisting of a
:18:54. > :18:59.distance of three and one third kilometres, so we have one group who
:19:00. > :19:06.have merged to form this peleton chasing down the front eight. Not a
:19:07. > :19:11.satisfying position to be in in terms of getting the job done in
:19:12. > :19:15.such a large group. Very difficult to work well together. You need the
:19:16. > :19:19.likes of Jodie Stimpson and Helen Jenkins up there. Helen Jenkins at
:19:20. > :19:23.the top of our picture making her way to the top. It is important to
:19:24. > :19:27.have some kind of lead at the front and ignore what is happening behind
:19:28. > :19:33.you. Don't worry about those that don't want to work. Just keep
:19:34. > :19:37.working and find three or four athletes who want to work well
:19:38. > :19:42.together. This pack contains Rachel Klamer and Lucy Hall and Marie Rabi.
:19:43. > :19:48.Decent athletes in this pack and they look to be working well as a
:19:49. > :19:54.team. Lots of noise and another warm welcome at the end of the third lap.
:19:55. > :19:57.It is half distance on the bike. The group of seven with Rachel climate
:19:58. > :20:01.now leading for the Netherlands, coming through, and what a welcome!
:20:02. > :20:14.-- Rachel Klamer. Natalie Van Coevorden went
:20:15. > :20:21.backwards, from lead group to chase group. We will see meanwhile if this
:20:22. > :20:25.massive pack has managed to reduce the time deficit. Last time we got
:20:26. > :20:35.an official time they'd lap of a 31 second deficit. -- made lap. It has
:20:36. > :20:41.grown to 33 seconds as the chase pack come through transition. You
:20:42. > :20:45.can see Helen Jenkins's face looking pretty frantic on the front. She
:20:46. > :20:48.will not want to be hanging around. I can't imagine at the beginning of
:20:49. > :20:53.this race that she thought she would find herself in the second pack,
:20:54. > :20:57.like in Stockholm. This group of seven has really taken advantage of
:20:58. > :21:01.their really good swimming and excellent transition. The ability to
:21:02. > :21:07.get away. Lucy Hall very much featuring in the breakaway at the
:21:08. > :21:12.start of the cycle stage. Katie Zaferes is on the left with a
:21:13. > :21:17.determined look on her face. The last six kilometres or so to ride
:21:18. > :21:22.and the pace has been raised even further, as encouragement is shouted
:21:23. > :21:26.from the streets of Hamburg. You can see the geography of it all. The
:21:27. > :21:31.blue area in front of the magnificent City Hall, that is the
:21:32. > :21:39.transition area. That City Hall opened in 1897, 17,000 square
:21:40. > :21:44.metres. There is the big favourite on the left of your screen, Gwen
:21:45. > :21:49.Jorgensen from the United States of America, who if she wins to day will
:21:50. > :21:53.be on the top step of the podium for the 18th occasion in the World
:21:54. > :21:57.Triathlon Series racers. What a phenomenal competitor she is. One
:21:58. > :22:04.lap to go. They take the bell and the front group of seven have come
:22:05. > :22:10.through with an advantage of more than 40 seconds over the leaders. We
:22:11. > :22:15.will expect things to happen over the final cirque eight of 3.3
:22:16. > :22:22.kilometres. Those in the chase group, if they want to get involved,
:22:23. > :22:25.will have to get involved now. Marie Rabi from South Africa taking the
:22:26. > :22:31.lead as they come round this sweeping bend. Katie Zaferes on her
:22:32. > :22:37.wheels, secretly pretty happy with the way this race has turned out.
:22:38. > :22:44.She needed a confidence boost ahead of Rio. 43 seconds now. Looking at
:22:45. > :22:49.this group, seven still. The pedigree possibly comes from Zaferes
:22:50. > :22:55.of the USA. We will see who can go with her. And then we will see from
:22:56. > :22:57.this pack which contains some very strong triathletes, Helen Jenkins
:22:58. > :23:01.and Jodie Stimpson from Great Britain of course, but most notably
:23:02. > :23:07.Gwen Jorgensen from the USA, who will not be fazed by a deficit of 45
:23:08. > :23:11.seconds. She will still believe she can make that up. Whether she can go
:23:12. > :23:15.on to win, I don't know, but she can certainly climb through the field
:23:16. > :23:19.and put pressure on the leaders. Jodie Stimpson has sensibly made her
:23:20. > :23:22.way to the front. She doesn't want to be bouncing and barging with
:23:23. > :23:26.other competitors as she comes into transition at the end of the 20
:23:27. > :23:31.kilometres ride. She wants a clean run in so she has forced her way to
:23:32. > :23:36.the head of the field. India Lee right at the back. The British
:23:37. > :23:42.athletes topping and tailing this chase group. It will be interesting
:23:43. > :23:47.to see who goes in and out of transition quickly. Back to the
:23:48. > :23:50.field, the final lap on the bike is nearly over. Lucy Hall reaches down
:23:51. > :23:55.to remove her right foot from the shoe and then her left foot rests on
:23:56. > :24:00.top. She looks over to make sure she has daylight between herself and the
:24:01. > :24:03.rest of them. Everybody's feet on top of the pedals now as they come
:24:04. > :24:09.into transition for the second time, for the change from likely to
:24:10. > :24:16.running. The dismount line marked with the redline and red flag and in
:24:17. > :24:21.they come. Rachel Klamer grabs the saddle. Marie Rabi loses control and
:24:22. > :24:25.bangs her legs. Looking for their running shoes. They need to make
:24:26. > :24:30.sure that the cycle helmets go in the box as well. Zaferes is further
:24:31. > :24:39.up transition. Nice clean entry for Zaferes. The right she went on and
:24:40. > :24:44.the left and she is away. Meanwhile, behind, further down the road, Jodie
:24:45. > :24:49.Stimpson is out of the saddle. Gwen Jorgensen has joined at the front of
:24:50. > :24:55.the field. Stimpson and Jenkinson have positioned themselves well.
:24:56. > :25:02.They will be looking for an explosive getaway. Jodie Stimpson on
:25:03. > :25:06.the right and Jenkins on the left of screen. But they go up the corporate
:25:07. > :25:11.looking for their spot in transition. Jenkins nearly lost
:25:12. > :25:16.control of her bike. Stimpson is the highest ranked triathlete in the
:25:17. > :25:20.field today, wearing number one. She arrives at her position. Nothing
:25:21. > :25:24.wrong with this transition so far for Jodie Stimpson. One of the
:25:25. > :25:28.German athletes is in and out and away. They get all the equipment
:25:29. > :25:35.together. Helen Jenkins is on her way. She is looking for speed right
:25:36. > :25:39.from the start. You can bet your bottom dollar that Gwen Jorgensen
:25:40. > :25:42.will not be far behind. Away they go, the chase pack, chasing the
:25:43. > :25:49.leaders, but Gwen Jorgensen right at the back. She does tend to be fairly
:25:50. > :25:53.relaxed in the transitions. She did lose a lot of time. I don't know if
:25:54. > :25:57.anything happened that we missed in our pictures. That is odd for her.
:25:58. > :26:01.Something must have happened for her coming into transition. She is
:26:02. > :26:04.normally relaxed because she can afford to be but giving them so much
:26:05. > :26:10.time when she was 45 seconds down on the main pack, I don't think that
:26:11. > :26:16.was something she chose to do. Jenkins is coming and you can see
:26:17. > :26:20.her dark glasses. She is three or four faces behind Gwen Jorgensen,
:26:21. > :26:25.but she looks like she is full of running yet again. Klamer and
:26:26. > :26:31.Zaferes have pulled away from that second group that were with them on
:26:32. > :26:34.the bike. Several athletes have dropped behind and Zaferes and
:26:35. > :26:39.Klamer are pushing the pace but have they done enough to stay away from
:26:40. > :26:44.Gwen Jorgensen? Gwen Jorgensen has left everybody except Jodie Stimpson
:26:45. > :26:51.behind, as she slices her way through the field. 47 seconds
:26:52. > :26:55.behind. Zaferes and Klamer in front. The gap to Stimpson and Gwen
:26:56. > :26:59.Jorgensen 47 seconds. It is only a five kilometre race and it might be
:27:00. > :27:05.too much for Gwen Jorgensen today. She is giving it her very best shot.
:27:06. > :27:09.40 seconds, that is the gap to Gwen Jorgensen. She has taken seven
:27:10. > :27:17.seconds out of the lead in the last kilometre or so. Anastasia
:27:18. > :27:24.Abrosimova moved into third position. Lucy Hall bravely holding
:27:25. > :27:29.on to fifth and Gwen Jorgensen comes into view, clear of Jodie Stimpson
:27:30. > :27:35.now. She can sense an opportunity to pick them off one by one as she
:27:36. > :27:40.tries to claw her way back into contention, looking for her 18th
:27:41. > :27:45.World Triathlon Series race and her third successive victory in Hamburg.
:27:46. > :27:50.But she has got an awful lot to do. They will take the bell. It has been
:27:51. > :27:55.an explosive first lap from Zaferes and Klamer as they hit transition.
:27:56. > :28:01.Next time they come through here, it will be towards the finishing line.
:28:02. > :28:07.2.5 kilometres to go. The gap to Gwen Jorgensen, the potential threat
:28:08. > :28:12.to success today for Zaferes and Klamer, was 40 seconds last time we
:28:13. > :28:19.looked at the clock. It could be down to closer to 30 seconds now.
:28:20. > :28:24.Gwen Jorgensen is in transition. She is 32 seconds off the pace. Gwen
:28:25. > :28:30.Jorgensen is getting the job done again. 47 seconds, then 40 seconds,
:28:31. > :28:36.next time we stopped the clock it was 32 seconds. She eats her way up
:28:37. > :28:40.through the field. Katie Zaferes has moved clear of Rachel Klamer at the
:28:41. > :28:44.front of the field and Klamer's shoulders are beginning to rock and
:28:45. > :28:53.roll as she digs deep, trying to keep tabs on Zaferes, as she has a
:28:54. > :28:57.very relaxed way about and is moving clear of Klamer. What a wonderful
:28:58. > :29:03.position do two athletes find themselves in. The phenomenal year
:29:04. > :29:08.that Zaferes had in 2015, her first serious year of the World Triathlon
:29:09. > :29:12.Series, and on the podium six times. She got six second places but she
:29:13. > :29:17.never made the top of the podium. Klamer has never been on the podium
:29:18. > :29:21.in the World Triathlon Series, so both of these athletes in new
:29:22. > :29:28.territory at the moment. Gwen Jorgensen is into a podium position.
:29:29. > :29:32.Lucy Hall is dropping back. Jodie Stimpson is slowly but surely making
:29:33. > :29:37.her way up through the field. Helen Jenkins is a bit further off the
:29:38. > :29:42.pace. You can see her distinctive running style, upright, head back,
:29:43. > :29:46.on the right of your screen. Jenkins will do well to finish in the top
:29:47. > :29:54.ten this afternoon in Hamburg. Look at the speed at which Gwen Jorgensen
:29:55. > :30:01.is travelling across the tarmac. Further time taken out of Zaferes's
:30:02. > :30:06.lead, 27 seconds now. Klamer digging deep into her reserves of stamina.
:30:07. > :30:10.Looking over, she knows that Gwen Jorgensen is looming large but it is
:30:11. > :30:15.a sprint distance and Gwen Jorgensen is running out of wrote to do any
:30:16. > :30:21.further damage. She has had a magnificent run, but it will not be
:30:22. > :30:25.an 18th triathlon when for Gwen Jorgensen barring some kind of
:30:26. > :30:35.last-gasp problem for Zaferes and Klamer. Incredible for these
:30:36. > :30:40.athletes going to Rio. Zaferes has not had an easy year, that is for
:30:41. > :30:47.sure, and to beat Gwen Jorgensen makes it even more special.
:30:48. > :30:53.Gwen Jorgensen has run up to third position and it has almost become a
:30:54. > :31:03.sprint. She looks absolutely desperate to close the gap. Just not
:31:04. > :31:09.enough. Katie Zaferes brews up another gear. She wants to make
:31:10. > :31:17.absolutely sure of this. She had the carpet, and what a pace to finish.
:31:18. > :31:28.She sprints home for her first victory. Katie Zaferes wins in
:31:29. > :31:37.Hamburg. What a race. She is on the podium second. What a breathtaking
:31:38. > :31:50.performance from the magnificent Gwen Jorgensen, who was way off the
:31:51. > :32:01.pace. Two Americans on the podium. The best of the athletes is Jodie
:32:02. > :32:11.Stimpson, who could not match Gwen Jorgensen for speed. She holds on.
:32:12. > :32:21.She will be followed by Anastasia Abrosimova of Russia. Laura
:32:22. > :32:37.Lindemann is the best of the Germans. Victory in Hamburg for
:32:38. > :32:45.Katie Zaferes. Jodie Stimpson was the best of the British. Helen
:32:46. > :32:50.Jenkins finished 14th, Lucy Hall finished 20th. Here are the current
:32:51. > :32:53.standings. Flora Duffy was never under threat in first but Jodie
:32:54. > :33:06.Stimpson has reinforced her position. Discuss your emotions with
:33:07. > :33:11.me. Excited, this has not gone as well as last year. Today, I raced
:33:12. > :33:18.like I knew I could and it was awesome to see the reward. Plu-mac
:33:19. > :33:24.I'm so happy, I was speaking to my boyfriend, and I said one day I want
:33:25. > :33:29.to be on the podium, and I did. Today must be that race. You had
:33:30. > :33:34.your training partner with you. S it was so awesome to do it with a
:33:35. > :33:38.training partner. I have a team-mate on the other side. It is a full team
:33:39. > :33:45.podium. Tell us about the race from your perspective. It started out
:33:46. > :33:50.with a swim when I was not in front back. I could tell I was not where I
:33:51. > :33:55.wanted to be. I exited the water and was not in the front pack. When
:33:56. > :34:00.you're not in it, people say you cannot win it in the swim but it is
:34:01. > :34:09.where you can lose it. In terms of T2, you came out of that. Bit
:34:10. > :34:13.further towards the last lap? Obviously should have been. The
:34:14. > :34:21.positive takeaway is there is always room for improvement. S it was
:34:22. > :34:27.pretty full on. I tried to go with Gwen, lasted a little bit, it was
:34:28. > :34:33.fun trying to hang onto her. Then it was just about trying to hold on, to
:34:34. > :34:38.be honest. We discussed the sprint race not playing to your forte.
:34:39. > :34:42.Explain how it was. I'm keeping up my record of bad sprint races. I did
:34:43. > :34:46.not have a good day and I fell flat but I give it everything out there
:34:47. > :34:49.and that is where it is. It is another step in training.
:34:50. > :34:55.Disappointing not to have a good race but I give it everything. More
:34:56. > :35:01.points towards the rankings. Definitely. Obviously, Stockholm was
:35:02. > :35:06.a huge disappointment. I'm in good shape and I've still not had the
:35:07. > :35:17.race I can say, thumbs up, I am proud of that. I've got two more
:35:18. > :35:25.chances to get that ideal race. Before we move on in Hamburg,
:35:26. > :35:29.triathlete news for the Paralympics, Britain will be the most represented
:35:30. > :35:35.nation in Rio. The strongest event will be the women's PD four. The
:35:36. > :35:41.double world champion will be joined by two former world champions.
:35:42. > :35:49.Alison Patrick and he's all Smith will line up alongside Melissa Reid
:35:50. > :36:02.and Michael Walters. Ryan Taylor will be very tough to beat in the
:36:03. > :36:12.men's PT to. Making up the 11 is Joe Townsend and Phil Hogg. Strong
:36:13. > :36:23.British team as para triathlon makes the debut. The Brownlee Brothers
:36:24. > :36:28.will have called on their mind in the Olympics, and the withdrawal of
:36:29. > :36:36.Javier Gomez will help with that, but many believe that his
:36:37. > :36:45.team-mates, Mario Mola, carried as much a threat. Mario Mola takes the
:36:46. > :36:53.gold medal. How much confidence that you get when you beat Javier Gomez
:36:54. > :36:56.in the final? Chicago was definitely one of the best races I've done, not
:36:57. > :37:02.only because of running faster but also been consistent on the bike, if
:37:03. > :37:10.you want to be racing with the very best you've got to be doing this,
:37:11. > :37:18.and I achieved that, then I think the ten K, knowing that I could be
:37:19. > :37:26.the world champion, it was a great race. I got a great feeling from the
:37:27. > :37:30.end of the race. In the last two years, they've been very good for
:37:31. > :37:34.me, I've been working on improving, that is what we look for, and I knew
:37:35. > :37:43.that it was different this year because of having the Olympic Games.
:37:44. > :37:50.I thought I might as well give it a try and I have been working for it.
:37:51. > :37:53.You talked about Javier Gomez very fondly and you have a great respect
:37:54. > :38:01.for him. I was sad argue that he will not be there? It was sad, in a
:38:02. > :38:05.big race you want to have the best racers and we know how focused on
:38:06. > :38:10.professional he is. The only gold medal he is missing is the Olympic,
:38:11. > :38:17.not having the opportunity it is very sad and really unfair but at
:38:18. > :38:21.sport we are exposed to this and we hope he recovers soon and I'm sure
:38:22. > :38:27.he will be racing strongly soon. The races UMIST Saab Alistair Brownlee
:38:28. > :38:34.find his form. What have you made of what he's been doing in the last two
:38:35. > :38:44.races? When they are focused and trading well they are very hard to
:38:45. > :38:50.beat and we know they have two medals, experience, we are so
:38:51. > :38:59.talented and all you can do is focus your control. Talk about Hamburg.
:39:00. > :39:07.What are you looking to achieve? It is another opportunity to get
:39:08. > :39:11.something for the World Championships, Fernando is leading
:39:12. > :39:18.the world so it is great for Spain to have athletes trying to cover the
:39:19. > :39:29.goal. Thank you, good luck. Thank you so much.
:39:30. > :39:35.Mario Mola is back after a break. The man next to me is back after a
:39:36. > :39:39.little break of his collarbone. Richard, thank you for speaking to
:39:40. > :39:43.us. What were your emotions after you knew you drag yourself badly?
:39:44. > :39:49.The process was to get back on the bike but when I did that I realised
:39:50. > :39:53.something was seriously wrong. I thought the collarbone was gone
:39:54. > :39:58.immediately. It has been a long recovery process but I'm glad to be
:39:59. > :40:07.back. How is your shape? Pretty good. 85% back. There is a race to
:40:08. > :40:18.see where might this is. Leaving you can get back to top shape for Rio? I
:40:19. > :40:22.think so. And good memories of Hamburg, your first World Series
:40:23. > :40:28.victory here? Yes, quite a coincidence, my girlfriend came
:40:29. > :40:34.second in this event, so we both got our first podium is here. Good luck
:40:35. > :40:35.for today. We are going racing very shortly but first, here are the
:40:36. > :40:49.rankings. Jonny Brownlee narrowed the gap to
:40:50. > :40:54.the top two. A strong performance from the Spanish racers would see
:40:55. > :41:06.that widened. Time for the last World Series
:41:07. > :41:12.action before a Rio. Here is the men's race.
:41:13. > :41:18.He was the start list for the triathlon.
:41:19. > :41:49.The final countdown for the start of the sprint triathlon. They are under
:41:50. > :41:53.way. Fast and furious start. The better swimmers are looking for the
:41:54. > :42:14.clean water ahead. We will keep an eye out for Henry Schuman. Inviting
:42:15. > :42:17.conditions with such flat water. This is a sprint distance, if you're
:42:18. > :42:23.going to get any sort of gap year going to push really hard in the
:42:24. > :42:30.swim. The Brownlee Brothers are not here.
:42:31. > :42:44.There are some great swimmers. We will expect to see there at the
:42:45. > :42:50.front of the swim. Tommy Zaferes leads the way. He is the husband of
:42:51. > :42:55.Katie Zaferes who won the women's race earlier. Clearly motivated by
:42:56. > :42:59.his wife's success earlier in the day and he is setting a cracking
:43:00. > :43:05.pace. But now the troubles begin for those that get trapped on the
:43:06. > :43:10.inside. They can have their swim curtailed and stalled as they bump
:43:11. > :43:16.shoulders and bang heads with opposing swimmers in the whirlpool
:43:17. > :43:31.that occurs during these tight turns. It is not exactly who we were
:43:32. > :43:43.expecting. Tommy Zaferes is well on the way as others scramble for
:43:44. > :43:51.position. That is bad play if I've ever seen it. I sometimes wonder
:43:52. > :43:56.whether the officials need to look at these situations are little more
:43:57. > :44:02.carefully because quite often it is unnecessary. It is very tricky when
:44:03. > :44:10.you're out there, it is very hard to see where you're going and sometimes
:44:11. > :44:15.it is just a fight of strength. We saw the athlete go under there but
:44:16. > :44:23.he did come back and carried on swimming. Tommy Zaferes was the
:44:24. > :44:27.early leader from the water. The South African has closed the gap and
:44:28. > :44:30.he might be forcing the pace. They will go under the bridge and emerge
:44:31. > :44:43.through the darkness on the other side. This ramp will allow them to
:44:44. > :44:49.excellent water quickly. They will be removing the wet suit as they run
:44:50. > :44:56.on the way to where the bikes are parked. There will be six laps of
:44:57. > :45:04.3.3 kilometres each time. The last 140 metres in the water and then the
:45:05. > :45:15.action will really move up the pace in Hamburg. Now they get the warm
:45:16. > :45:19.welcome from the enthusiastic, well educated crowd. They love triathlon
:45:20. > :45:25.in Hamburg and this is a firm feature in the circuit and the
:45:26. > :45:29.Hamburg sporting calendar. Warm reception for all the athletes as
:45:30. > :45:40.they swim the final few metres here in Germany's second-largest city.
:45:41. > :45:47.Who will be first out and get bragging rights at the end of the
:45:48. > :45:59.swim? It was Tommy is a at the end of the early stages.
:46:00. > :46:34.-- Tommy Zaferes. Here they come. It was Henri Schoeman coming out first.
:46:35. > :46:44.Mario Mola in 13th position, but not far from the leading group, so a
:46:45. > :46:48.good start for him. The rest coming out in dribs and drabs. Henri
:46:49. > :46:52.Schoeman in his position and Mario Mola comes alongside him. He puts on
:46:53. > :46:56.his cycle helmet and tries to leave everything neat and tidy. She was
:46:57. > :47:01.already attached to the pedals and that was a good transition for Mola,
:47:02. > :47:09.only half a dozen seconds behind Henri Schoeman, who was quickest out
:47:10. > :47:17.of the water. Adam Barrett turn out as well. A good, strong swim for
:47:18. > :47:19.him. -- Adam Bowden. We could have a huge group forming at the front of
:47:20. > :47:33.the field. Aurelien Raphael is already looking
:47:34. > :47:37.slightly displeased with something. Shaking his head and waving his
:47:38. > :47:48.arms. He has been doing the work so far and he wants to share the
:47:49. > :47:58.workload. That offer is gladly accepted by Jonas Schomburg, who
:47:59. > :48:01.comes through. Aurelio pretty disappointed. He is used to getting
:48:02. > :48:05.out of the water with the Brownlee brothers and when they go, they
:48:06. > :48:10.really go. But this is looking scrappy. You have got to work those
:48:11. > :48:21.first few kilometres very hard, giving 100% if you are going to have
:48:22. > :48:28.any chance of JCB athletes. The -- of chasing the athletes. These are
:48:29. > :48:43.the positions after the swim. Marten Van Riel is taking his chair turn.
:48:44. > :48:52.Looking to inject some pace and he wants some company if he is going to
:48:53. > :48:56.form a breakaway group, Ben Kanute. The skies are looking grey and
:48:57. > :49:01.threatening. This could be dry to start the cycle stage and wet to
:49:02. > :49:04.finish if the heavens open. Very difficult for some of the athletes
:49:05. > :49:09.to know what to do in this situation. Richard Murray has made
:49:10. > :49:15.the front pack and so has Mario Mola, the two fastest guys on foot
:49:16. > :49:20.and it is difficult to know what to do tactically. The only thing you
:49:21. > :49:26.can do is get a break. With Richard Murray on your tail, that will not
:49:27. > :49:30.be easy. A group of about 35 forcing the pace. We have a lone breakaway
:49:31. > :49:37.rider and we think it is Ben Kanute from the USA. He has opened up a gap
:49:38. > :49:45.of two or three seconds over one of the Australians who is trying to go
:49:46. > :49:49.with him now. This was Ben Kanute's breakaway. It didn't get any
:49:50. > :49:54.response, having offered the invitation to others to join in the
:49:55. > :50:01.fun at the front. He has some company now, joined by Eireann
:50:02. > :50:13.royal, but then the gap shortens to Aurelio and Raphael. -- Aaron Royle.
:50:14. > :50:18.These guys are spread out 200 metres on the streets of Hamburg as they
:50:19. > :50:21.get towards the end of lap one. The leader coming into transition is
:50:22. > :50:26.Aaron Royle from Australia with Ben Kanute of the USA right behind him.
:50:27. > :50:28.We know Adam Bowden is in this group but we will get an official look at
:50:29. > :50:44.the full list. Tommy is a Faroes had a good swim
:50:45. > :50:56.and he is ninth at the moment. -- Tommy Zaferes.
:50:57. > :51:06.Two of the best runners in the field, Mario Mola of Spain, and
:51:07. > :51:19.Richard Murray of South Africa, they are sharing leadership of this race.
:51:20. > :51:23.Coming through is the Japanese team, who are represented very well in
:51:24. > :51:35.both races today. As they bunched together, the conditions are looking
:51:36. > :51:39.more misty. There is a forecast for a light rain this afternoon but the
:51:40. > :51:48.clouds overhead look more menacing than light rain and we will see what
:51:49. > :51:52.unfolds with the weather. They are reduced to a snails pace, and then
:51:53. > :52:01.out of the saddle and accelerating away for the next stage of this race
:52:02. > :52:05.around the streets of Hamburg. Ben Kanute once again, the American who
:52:06. > :52:10.had a mini break earlier in the race. He is trying it on again. He
:52:11. > :52:15.has dragged a couple of Australians along with him this time. Ryan
:52:16. > :52:23.Bailie number seven, and number 16, Aaron Royle, joining in as well. The
:52:24. > :52:29.three of them trying to take the race by the scruff of the neck at
:52:30. > :52:35.the front. The problem here in this race is that it is very difficult to
:52:36. > :52:40.get away because there are so many athletes. As soon as you get
:52:41. > :52:45.momentum up, you are stopping to take a corner, and it gives the
:52:46. > :52:49.other athletes chance to catch up. It will be difficult to instigate
:52:50. > :52:53.some sort of breakaway here. Richard Murray has hit the wrong box with
:52:54. > :52:57.his swimming caps. Is 22 number should have gone next door in the
:52:58. > :53:02.white plastic box to the left, and that may well have caused a stop
:53:03. > :53:13.start penalty for Richard Murray. The bowlers are -- the umbrellas are
:53:14. > :53:18.coming up and the road surface will start to get slip. Rear wheels
:53:19. > :53:24.skidding out and a couple of close calls. Not the last incident we will
:53:25. > :53:29.see during the bike leg. The rain adds a different dimension to the
:53:30. > :53:34.second half of this cycle leg in Hamburg. Definitely not what the
:53:35. > :53:38.athletes wanted. I have mentioned this before. The athletes going to
:53:39. > :53:46.Rio will not want to take any risks today. Halfway through the bike leg,
:53:47. > :53:50.soft and good grip and traction on the blue carpet, but when they head
:53:51. > :53:56.into the streets of the city, it will be a different story, as the
:53:57. > :54:01.rainfall gets heavier in Hamburg. Richard Murray coming through
:54:02. > :54:09.transition and he has achieved a ten second penalty as a result of the
:54:10. > :54:12.equipment infringement. Ryan Fisher of Australia taking this race are
:54:13. > :54:19.now. He fancies his chances. He thinks if he can break away... He
:54:20. > :54:25.might have been watching Flora Duffy doing similar in recent weeks in the
:54:26. > :54:30.women's races around the world. The never 12 from Australia, Ryan
:54:31. > :54:38.Fisher, has got himself a reasonable gap in lap four. He has had form in
:54:39. > :54:43.the past, winning a World Cup race in 2013. The World Cup race is
:54:44. > :54:49.slightly lower tier that the World Triathlon Series... Two men down!
:54:50. > :54:55.One of them is Hernandez from the Spanish Olympic team and Zaferes
:54:56. > :55:02.getting involved. Dmitry Polyanskiy also on the deck. Hernandez and his
:55:03. > :55:07.sunglasses are having problems. He has taken his Olympic place with the
:55:08. > :55:13.withdrawal of Javier Gomez Noya who had to withdraw following a bike
:55:14. > :55:18.crash, ironically. And the beneficiary of that is on the deck
:55:19. > :55:26.himself. We can see it again here. It was one down and then the domino
:55:27. > :55:32.effect. Hernandez hit the tarmac quite hard and Adam Bowden taking
:55:33. > :55:38.evasive action. Another break. None of them has been decisive yet. Ben
:55:39. > :55:44.Kanute and Andreas Schilling having a pop at the front to see if they
:55:45. > :55:51.can do some damage. Deep into the fifth lap. Next time they hit
:55:52. > :55:58.transition, they will take the bell. 39.6 kilometres per hour across the
:55:59. > :56:01.road surface in Hamburg. They don't want to let Andreas Schilling get
:56:02. > :56:07.away because looking at his fourth-place finish in Stockholm, he
:56:08. > :56:12.can run. Mario Mola can run down anyone, we know. He has the fastest
:56:13. > :56:15.running time over anyone in the sport over ten kilometres and he
:56:16. > :56:21.can't be far off on the sprint distance either. They are not
:56:22. > :56:29.willing to take risks over the wet corners today. This group is looking
:56:30. > :56:34.courses. Know Adam Bowden in this group. He looked steady on the
:56:35. > :56:41.corners. It looks like he has dropped off. Almost a collision
:56:42. > :56:45.between a Dane and the American there and an apology from Andreas
:56:46. > :56:52.Schilling, who took his eyes off the ball and was looking over the wrong
:56:53. > :56:58.shoulder. Mario Mola on the right, the Spaniard to is highly fancied to
:56:59. > :57:03.win this race today. Can anyone match him when he parks his bike and
:57:04. > :57:11.starts off on the 5000 kilometre run? One more to come on the bike.
:57:12. > :57:17.Ben Kanute and Andreas Schilling a bit ahead of the rest. Ben Kanute
:57:18. > :57:22.and Andreas Schilling have been joined by Marten Van Riel of
:57:23. > :57:28.Belgium. We have a 3-way breakaway here. Not significant. The others
:57:29. > :57:37.are perfectly able to close them down with under three kilometres to
:57:38. > :57:41.ride. At this point in the race, I feel like the time that you can gain
:57:42. > :57:46.in three kilometres will be so minute, so is it worth the risks you
:57:47. > :57:51.can take? I am not saying sit back just be careful because the roads
:57:52. > :57:55.right now. With transition approaching and the end of the bike
:57:56. > :58:01.leg, Mario Mola is dictating the speed of the race. He could be first
:58:02. > :58:07.in and potentially first-out of transition. He could kick away from
:58:08. > :58:10.the rest of the field in the early stages of the 5000 metre run which
:58:11. > :58:17.will conclude this sprint distance triathlon. Murray and Mola are
:58:18. > :58:21.together, shoulder to shoulder, as the two men reached down and start
:58:22. > :58:27.to prepare their shoes and feet. Mario Mola does anyway, preparing
:58:28. > :58:32.for the arrival in transition. Transition is just ahead. They go
:58:33. > :58:37.under the arch. A couple more turns and they will see their final
:58:38. > :58:41.destination on two wheels, and we will be happy to see the back of the
:58:42. > :58:48.wet streets of Hamburg on their bikes. Murray takes it on, of South
:58:49. > :58:52.Africa, then Mola of Spain, and synchronised arrival in transition
:58:53. > :58:56.between the two training partners. Murray arrives in the area that
:58:57. > :59:01.caused consternation in this race. He will find out about his stop-go
:59:02. > :59:05.penalty now having seen he has put his equipment in the wrong place. A
:59:06. > :59:11.fairly basic error and he will not want to repeat that in Rio. Good
:59:12. > :59:15.transition from Mario Mola. He picks up the familiar white visor and hits
:59:16. > :59:23.the front. Richard Murray was first to emerge, quickest of the lot
:59:24. > :59:25.leaving transition. What a transition for the South African.
:59:26. > :59:29.Everything has gone right so far for the Spaniard who has managed to
:59:30. > :59:33.close the gap on Richard Murray. With the speed that Richard Murray
:59:34. > :59:38.ran out of transition, I wonder if he realised he had that ten second
:59:39. > :59:42.penalty because he flew out there, knowing he had to gain time wherever
:59:43. > :59:50.he could. He has the Australians on his heel, chasing him down. Aaron
:59:51. > :59:55.Royle, Birtwistle and Ryan Bailie, all having a fantastic race.
:59:56. > :59:57.Chucking it down in Hamburg. Unpleasant weather but the
:59:58. > :00:04.enthusiasm of the crowds remains intact. They have stuck it out in
:00:05. > :00:16.the reign of the Hamburg Saturday afternoon and they are still five or
:00:17. > :00:19.60 around the course. -- six deep. Murray and Mola from South Africa
:00:20. > :00:24.and Spain have led this running stage from the start. Then
:00:25. > :00:31.Birtwistle, Ryan Bailey, two-hour Carrara from Portugal, battling it
:00:32. > :00:45.out potentially for the last place. -- to our Perera.
:00:46. > :00:54.Extra pace injection from Mario Mola, he is flying along here in
:00:55. > :01:06.Hamburg. The noise that welcomes them in, only leads in Hamburg
:01:07. > :01:14.provide this atmosphere. -- Leeds and Hamburg. Of on their way for
:01:15. > :01:30.their second and final lap around the city centre. The gap is 17
:01:31. > :01:43.seconds, and Fernando Alarza is a couple of seconds back.
:01:44. > :01:54.He had a condition of around six seconds behind the third and fourth
:01:55. > :02:11.place athletes. Joao Carlos Teixeira Parreira was running into a podium
:02:12. > :02:19.position. Two 15th place finishes. Mario Mola still together at the
:02:20. > :02:23.front of the field. I wonder if he's thinking, I'm going to put as much
:02:24. > :02:34.time as I can into these guys. I think that's going to be his choice.
:02:35. > :02:41.Perhaps that is a sensible one. Fernando Alarza, ranked number one
:02:42. > :02:53.in the world, is not having his own way. He is in fifth. There will be
:02:54. > :03:07.only one winner, it will be Mario Mola, because of Murray's penalty
:03:08. > :03:10.stop to come. Absolutely miserable in Hamburg after the rather benign
:03:11. > :03:18.conditions the swimmers enjoyed at the start of the race. The water was
:03:19. > :03:41.still and the heavens opened. Mario Mola potentially the greatest
:03:42. > :03:46.threat, and he is letting the world know that he could be the man to
:03:47. > :03:51.watch in the middle of August. Richard Murray, the South African,
:03:52. > :03:57.recovering from the broken collar bone despite having made a technical
:03:58. > :04:01.infringement. He is also potentially on course for an Olympic medal if he
:04:02. > :04:13.maintains this form. He has shown that he is another one to a code
:04:14. > :04:21.for. The rain is thumping down. Richard Murray stops and waves Mario
:04:22. > :04:28.Mola off. It will be the slowest ten seconds of his life. He is asking
:04:29. > :04:33.why. You will find out at the end of the race. Mario Mola can cruise to
:04:34. > :04:37.victory and he wins in Hamburg. Richard Murray has done enough. He
:04:38. > :04:41.is unhappy about the penalty he's had to take but it will all become
:04:42. > :04:53.clear when he sees the officials afterwards. He will celebrate second
:04:54. > :04:58.position. I think Fernando Alarza might have just got third. It is a
:04:59. > :05:08.photo finish between the two of them. It seems that Richard Murray
:05:09. > :05:17.was unaware that he needed to take the penalty until he veered off to
:05:18. > :05:27.his left. They are coming home in the damp conditions in Hamburg.
:05:28. > :05:31.Richard Murray could face a further sanction following his outburst. You
:05:32. > :05:37.can understand the frustration. We know who the winner is. We know that
:05:38. > :05:48.Richard Murray finished second amid all the drama.
:05:49. > :06:03.It was a great race for me. Coming to the Olympics and then, yes,
:06:04. > :06:06.trying to stay in the group, out of trouble it was sad that Richard had
:06:07. > :06:15.a penalty and we could not give a good race to the public. He has
:06:16. > :06:21.confirmed that Richard Murray has been disqualified from the race, for
:06:22. > :06:32.unsportsmanlike behaviour at the end. Fernando Alarza has moved up
:06:33. > :06:42.from fourth to third. Really happy. I put in a performance today. I
:06:43. > :06:46.thought I had got there to the line, I started second-guessing myself for
:06:47. > :06:59.a while. I was a little disappointed but I am relieved. I had a problem
:07:00. > :07:07.before transition two, but I think I feel good for Rio and I had a good
:07:08. > :07:11.race. Could you explain to us the decision to disqualify Richard
:07:12. > :07:21.Murray? It was unsportsmanlike and your against the technical official,
:07:22. > :07:28.he was given the time penalty for a reason and they should -- and he
:07:29. > :07:32.should have been responsible, he behaved in a way that meant they
:07:33. > :07:43.disqualified him. He did not do it in this case. The results are as
:07:44. > :07:53.follows... Jacob Birtwhistle has been promoted to second. Tom Bishop
:07:54. > :08:01.was down in 49. Following the Hamburg race, Mario Mola has
:08:02. > :08:16.leapfrogged his compatriot. Jonny Brownlee is still third. I'm joined
:08:17. > :08:24.by the head coach of British triathlon. A little disappointing
:08:25. > :08:30.with how it went for her. She was here to go through the process of
:08:31. > :08:38.racing. This is only her fourth race of the year. It is about going
:08:39. > :08:47.through the process, I think the main thing, normally should would be
:08:48. > :08:54.out the front up the water. Hamburg is not a big indicator of form,
:08:55. > :08:59.Hamburg is Hamburg, we generally find we don't take a lot out of it
:09:00. > :09:05.as far as moving into other races as a form guide. Quick word on
:09:06. > :09:10.Geraldine, into fourth place. It is really pleasing for her. To come
:09:11. > :09:14.back with a performance like that after Stockholm. There was something
:09:15. > :09:21.not quite right in Stockholm and today was her back to her best. She
:09:22. > :09:31.will say, that swim, if she saw that out she is capable of getting into
:09:32. > :09:35.that front group. In terms of seeing Gwen lose again, they will take some
:09:36. > :09:48.encouragement from that, probably. Everybody is beatable. She has done
:09:49. > :09:54.well every time and we try not to focus too much. The girls know what
:09:55. > :09:56.they've got to do and the type of racing they will need to put
:09:57. > :10:06.together to be successful. That's all they can do. I'm sure Gwen did
:10:07. > :10:13.not come here wanting to be beaten but I'm sure they came here as a
:10:14. > :10:18.prep, and if you look at this course compared to Rio, not massively
:10:19. > :10:26.similar. In terms of the men's race, Mario Mola showed he will be the
:10:27. > :10:44.tough contender for the Bradley brothers. He has won it every time.
:10:45. > :10:54.The Olympics is not going to be an easy ride. It will be a tough race.
:10:55. > :10:59.It is going well. It is a real shame and our sympathies go to him because
:11:00. > :11:10.you want an athlete of that calibre racing. Thank you. We're not quite
:11:11. > :11:22.done in Hamburg. Turn over to the red button. They are ready to go.
:11:23. > :11:30.Spectacular start. A collision for Vicky Holland. Chaotic scenes in
:11:31. > :11:33.transition. The triathlon mixed relay World Championship title...
:11:34. > :11:38.There is a medal for the British team. To see if France can
:11:39. > :11:41.successfully defend the mixed relay World Championship title switch over
:11:42. > :11:46.to the red button right now. As this is the last World Championship
:11:47. > :11:50.triathlon event before Rio, here is a reminder of the Olympic triathlon
:11:51. > :11:58.coverage. The event will be on the 18th of August and the women's will
:11:59. > :12:02.be on the 20th of August. Author will be live on BBC One. Still two
:12:03. > :12:07.races to come in the triathlon series after the Olympics. We will
:12:08. > :12:15.be back with live coverage of the penultimate event in Edmonton. We
:12:16. > :12:20.had almost taken arise off the World Series but Hamburg has brought us
:12:21. > :12:25.back to the present. Gwen Jorgensen losers again, Richard Murray
:12:26. > :12:29.disqualified, they will be fired up for Rio. So are we. Get the dates in
:12:30. > :12:31.your diary. We will see you then.
