:00:07. > :00:40.Good evening. We are fast approaching the quarterfinals of the

:00:41. > :00:44.2015 Betway UK snooker championship. Two fourth round matches to be

:00:45. > :00:45.completed and in one of them two old pals slugging it out in an

:00:46. > :00:55.all-Scotland clash. You can only get excited in these

:00:56. > :00:58.games. It doesn't get any bigger. The UK is the second biggest

:00:59. > :01:02.tournament we've got on the calendar. To play somebody like John

:01:03. > :01:04.Higgins, who is a four-time world champion and the greatest player

:01:05. > :01:08.that's ever played, to me, you can only look forward to it. I'm loving

:01:09. > :01:10.it. As I said, I have been here for the last couple of years and really

:01:11. > :01:11.struggling and not the last couple of years and really

:01:12. > :01:17.struggling and not knowing when my next win will come from. So at the

:01:18. > :01:24.start of this year, it was great to win two tournaments and then

:01:25. > :01:28.obviously we got to the final of the up with, me and Stephen, so that was

:01:29. > :01:33.a bitter shame to lose but it's going great this season so far. You

:01:34. > :01:35.don't want to see mates struggling, especially if you like and respect

:01:36. > :01:40.them and everyone respects John Higgins. But he is looking

:01:41. > :01:42.comfortable in the field again, you know, you can see the difference

:01:43. > :01:50.between him now and a couple of seasons ago. You know, he is nearly

:01:51. > :01:54.back to his best. He had some great wins gend Li Hang, the Chinese

:01:55. > :01:58.player we rate so. He is feeling good in his game and we're good

:01:59. > :02:02.mates on the tour and it's tough playing one of your pals on the

:02:03. > :02:06.tour, but you have to get on with it and block out who's sitting in the

:02:07. > :02:11.next chair. I know how good John is, he will play to win, and I'm not

:02:12. > :02:13.worried about it or scared, you know, I've played him before, we're

:02:14. > :02:21.the same age, we grew up together and I know him really well. So that

:02:22. > :02:24.will make a difference. If I take my chances and play the way I have been

:02:25. > :02:28.playing, I will be there. Higgins got off to a cracking start in this

:02:29. > :02:33.one, racing into a 3-0 lead and took the third frame with a break of 71.

:02:34. > :02:37.But Burnett pulled one back just before the interval and they then

:02:38. > :02:39.shared the next two frames. So we pick it up in the seventh, Higgins

:02:40. > :03:14.to play, trailing by 38 points. He might have come up a little bit

:03:15. > :03:18.short on the one he played first, so he will have to take the one left

:03:19. > :03:27.over the pocket, in between the pink and black. A very important stage in

:03:28. > :03:36.this match for John Higgins, it has to be said, Steve? Yeah, a very

:03:37. > :03:39.important miss potentially from Jamie Burnett. Didn't really hit it

:03:40. > :04:09.that confidently, did he? I think when John pots this red it's

:04:10. > :04:16.going to clear the path for the one next to it for the right cornerment

:04:17. > :04:17.-- corner. Oh, he got a kick there. A possible plant on. Not absolutely

:04:18. > :04:37.sure. ..If it's on. Possibly that red goes anyway,

:04:38. > :04:39.that's above the two-ball line-up. Oh, these are lovely plants, even

:04:40. > :05:09.more insurance. Just the one stumbling block,

:05:10. > :05:14.possibly, for John Higgins - the red near the cushion - as he checks the

:05:15. > :05:22.scoreboard. But he's going to need that and a few more after it. That

:05:23. > :05:24.plant was on, but he doesn't have to play for it, because the two reds

:05:25. > :05:38.are available into the left corner. That kicked off, so you can tell

:05:39. > :05:41.just by the sound of it, and I tell you what, this time the kick has

:05:42. > :05:45.spoiled the position. He was playing for the plant - I think he played

:05:46. > :05:51.across the table. I just don't think he was playing for ... I think he

:05:52. > :05:56.just played to roll it in and leave the two reds, but it threw it off at

:05:57. > :06:01.that angle and that's why he snookered it. Perhaps. Would you

:06:02. > :06:08.come off the side cushion and make the plant? I thought he was going to

:06:09. > :06:16.play the pink harder, if it was the plant, and then go across to the

:06:17. > :06:20.same side of the table, but... Yeah, he can't come off the side cushion,

:06:21. > :06:24.it's a bad plant, because the reds are two close together. That would

:06:25. > :06:28.be silly. You would play that in an exhibition. He has got a terrible

:06:29. > :06:36.white here. He has lost it there on the strength of that kick. He has

:06:37. > :06:48.ruined his concentration. A sinking feeling in your stomach when that

:06:49. > :06:50.happens. He probably didn't... He must have widened it so much so that

:06:51. > :07:20.it meant he was snookered. Well, he missed a black previously

:07:21. > :07:22.that was probably slightly easier than this one, because he is tight

:07:23. > :07:33.on the cushion. Let's see how well he can cue this.

:07:34. > :07:40.Better! Good shot, that was. I'll tell you what, he might just have

:07:41. > :07:47.the angle to stun this in and knock the red over the pocket and finish

:07:48. > :07:49.on pink or black. And this could be a big turning point in this match,

:07:50. > :08:06.if he can pull this shot off. A very positive shot there, from

:08:07. > :08:10.Jamie Burnett, and if he can hold himself together, it would be a

:08:11. > :08:21.fantastic chance to go only one frame adrift.

:08:22. > :08:32.Very nice. OK, he is not dead straight on it, but every chance of

:08:33. > :09:40.rolling this into the middle pocket and being in prime position.

:09:41. > :09:44.That's the frame safe, and he'll be feeling pretty good about himself,

:09:45. > :10:05.old Jamie. Won the last frame with a n aid of a

:10:06. > :10:12.break of 52. And this is a nicely played shot. Doesn't matter if he

:10:13. > :10:19.lands on top of the pink. Just hit it, double it, doesn't matter what

:10:20. > :10:26.happens. It's not going to be hard enough for the double, is it? So,

:10:27. > :10:37.Jamie Burnett, 4-1 down - all of a sudden, he wins two frames in a row

:10:38. > :10:38.and he is only one behind. 3-4. Yes, this is some comeback from

:10:39. > :10:40.Burnett. Could Yes, this is some comeback from

:10:41. > :10:42.Burnett. Could he draw level in the next frame? Higgins to play and he

:10:43. > :11:11.is leading. I think he can take this cut on, you

:11:12. > :11:25.know. It's a free shot. Towards the black again with the cue ball.

:11:26. > :11:37.Is he going to take a similar shot on again? He never got near it the

:11:38. > :11:59.last time. This is so difficult. Oh! Well, considering that he had no

:12:00. > :12:03.intention of disturbing yellow and red, the fact that that other red

:12:04. > :12:04.went safe is about the best he could have asked for after butchering that

:12:05. > :12:18.shot. Yeah, John played it with so much

:12:19. > :12:22.side, he finished up getting the double kiss on that safety. I

:12:23. > :12:25.thought he was going to try and pot it again as he did with the previous

:12:26. > :12:29.attempt, but he was just playing the safety shot off that red. It had so

:12:30. > :12:39.much side on it, that he double kissed it. He has just gone flat, at

:12:40. > :12:43.the moment, John. Lost the initiative for certain - the dreaded

:12:44. > :12:55.double kiss. And that red was always safe by the yellow, as well. Well,

:12:56. > :12:59.Jamie is showing his intentions here, of getting on this red into

:13:00. > :13:00.the corner, in such a way that he could maybe pot it and bring the

:13:01. > :13:18.other red into play. Oh, the double kiss has worked out

:13:19. > :13:22.for him! He had a couple of ways of going about that. He looked at the

:13:23. > :13:27.possibility of leaving that red and then decided, "Well, I might try and

:13:28. > :13:29.move this, if I don't, I'll finish on that red anyway". But what a

:13:30. > :13:59.delightful double kiss. Well, I'd suggest that he is one

:14:00. > :14:04.good pot away from 4-4 here. He needs to leave himself an angle on

:14:05. > :14:19.this red, on the bottom cushion, but not too much of an angle.

:14:20. > :14:27.Oh, he's not on the brown as well as I thought, so he is going to have to

:14:28. > :14:31.leave himself distance, as well. In a club, you'd load up the cue ball

:14:32. > :14:37.to the right hand side and get close, but you risk missing the pot.

:14:38. > :14:47.So... Depends how much he risks. Not much.

:14:48. > :14:57.Well, this definitely is the key shot as to whether he can draw level

:14:58. > :14:59.with John Higgins. He is bound to finish on blue or yellow, if the red

:15:00. > :15:15.drops in. Well, he hit it a little bit harder

:15:16. > :15:18.- why, I don't know, because if he leaves himself on the blue or

:15:19. > :15:22.yellow, it's straightforward. Now he has got to play a tricky little

:15:23. > :15:26.black here, as we show you that delicate shot along the cushion.

:15:27. > :15:50.Blue's the shot. Well, what a great effort this is

:15:51. > :16:01.from Jamie Burnett. At 4-1, John Higgins was cruising. So he needs

:16:02. > :16:17.the green, brown, blue and pink to get himself level.

:16:18. > :16:23.Well, who would have thought this was going to happen? Certainly not

:16:24. > :16:26.John Higgins. Certainly not this Barbican crowd. But there's going to

:16:27. > :16:41.be a cliffhanger now. Early on in this match, we were all

:16:42. > :16:44.saying how easy it would be for John - he has beaten Jamie on eight

:16:45. > :16:45.occasions and this is just going to be a stroll in the park for him.

:16:46. > :17:19.It's not now. He wins one more frame - four frames

:17:20. > :17:23.out of five - and he gets himself level with John Higgins. Jamie

:17:24. > :17:28.Burnett must be very quietly feeling pleased with himself. As he leaves

:17:29. > :17:33.the arena, he is all square with John Higgins, four each. This is

:17:34. > :17:34.excellent stuff from Jamie Burnett. Can he take the lead? Here he is at

:17:35. > :17:51.the table trailing by 18 points. Well, Jamie, can you hold yourself

:17:52. > :18:17.together here and put even more pressure on your good pal?

:18:18. > :18:23.Well, there will be one player watching this, I'm sure, who's

:18:24. > :18:39.taking sides. Neil Robertson faces the winner and,

:18:40. > :18:43.not being disrespectful to Jamie Burnett whatsoever, I'm sure the

:18:44. > :18:48.prospect of John Higgins going out here will be very much in Neil

:18:49. > :19:08.Robertson's favour. I think Neil will be tucked up in

:19:09. > :19:13.bed and getting a good night's rest, getting ready for tomorrow. I'm sure

:19:14. > :19:14.you didn't watch too much snooker before you played your next match,

:19:15. > :19:24.Steve? He'll be keeping an eye on it for

:19:25. > :19:38.sure. Oh, he hit that harder than he

:19:39. > :19:44.intended. A little bit of pressure back on Jamie now - the fact that

:19:45. > :19:48.he's drawn level with John. But he could have held that for the black

:19:49. > :19:55.and he wouldn't have had to hit it that hard. Now, can John Higgins get

:19:56. > :20:08.himself back together here? Well, you can hear one supporter in

:20:09. > :20:31.the crowd saying, "Good shot, John". Just about OK. There's only this red

:20:32. > :20:43.and one more red available, so maybe a good angle on the black here.

:20:44. > :20:50.Now he's just going to play for the single red at the moment. Wasn't

:20:51. > :20:57.quite the angle that he would have liked, so imperative now that he

:20:58. > :21:01.gets a good angle on the black. I mean, there are better points to go

:21:02. > :21:07.into from the blue, but where this red is, he has got to play for the

:21:08. > :21:12.black. And he has got a little bit of angle. If he can cannon into the

:21:13. > :21:23.red, just between the pink and black. That would be perfect. And he

:21:24. > :21:33.did do. But he stuck somewhat - he needed a little bit more spin on

:21:34. > :21:37.that. Seemed to just stick in there - a little bit more bottom and the

:21:38. > :21:40.white would have kept spinning a little. Tricky one now. Not sure if

:21:41. > :21:55.he can guarantee position on the black . Very nicely done. Had to

:21:56. > :21:57.judge the flick off the other red - could easily have lost the cue ball

:21:58. > :22:38.to the cushion. No need for any cannons now. There's

:22:39. > :22:51.a couple of reds available into the opposite corner. ..To the black.

:22:52. > :22:56.Come up a little bit short, but he is already 46 ahead, so a slight

:22:57. > :22:58.change of plan - but he should be able to drop nicely on the pink or

:22:59. > :23:30.blue. That wasn't ideal, but he has got

:23:31. > :23:33.that red into the corner - it will be a very relieved John Higgins who

:23:34. > :23:36.gives himself a little bit of breathing space coming into the

:23:37. > :23:58.nitty gritty part of the game. Look at that, though, with the

:23:59. > :24:01.cannon, he has left all threat reds on - one to the right corner, one to

:24:02. > :24:10.the left corner and one to the middle. A bit more like it but it

:24:11. > :24:18.has to be said, Jamie Burnett has let him off the hook here. He was in

:24:19. > :24:22.the balls with a great chance. He was in around the black spot area

:24:23. > :24:26.and for some reason he didn't fancy holding for the black, tried to play

:24:27. > :24:43.up for the blue and just seemed to hit it too hard.

:24:44. > :24:52.This break coming just at the right time for John Higgins. 52 was his

:24:53. > :24:54.highest - not in a match but the last break he made of any size was

:24:55. > :25:37.52 and he led 4-1. I We're looking at a player that has

:25:38. > :25:38.made 598 centuries in his illustrious career. 25 centuries

:25:39. > :26:10.last season, 17 this season. We've had 90 centuries so far in

:26:11. > :26:15.this year's UK championship - and make that 91! And it's come just at

:26:16. > :26:19.the right time for John Higgins, because he had lost four of the last

:26:20. > :26:23.five frames and no wonder he is going out of the arena at pace

:26:24. > :26:28.there. But that century puts him one frame away from a place in the

:26:29. > :26:32.quarterfinal. He leads Jamie Burnett 5-4. Brilliant stuff from the

:26:33. > :26:34.four-time world champion John Higgins. So Jamie Burnett needs

:26:35. > :26:49.something special - here he is on a Well, he thought long and hard about

:26:50. > :26:53.which red to take and in the end he felt that was the better one. But

:26:54. > :26:57.they're tricky little shots, you know. It's off the cushion, it's not

:26:58. > :27:10.tight on the cushion, so it's a chance that's gone. He was 48 points

:27:11. > :27:15.in front. One good pot and position and John could get right back into

:27:16. > :27:41.this frame - a frame that would put him into the quarterfinals.

:27:42. > :27:44.It's three reds that are a little awkward. Two on the side cushion

:27:45. > :28:17.definitely very difficult. Can John Higgins do here what he has

:28:18. > :28:20.done so many times throughout his career - when he is well behind in a

:28:21. > :29:31.frame, he seems to play his best. Now, this is where it starts to get

:29:32. > :29:49.tricky for John. Play for the one at the left side of

:29:50. > :30:02.the table here and he has got enough angle to drop in behind that ...

:30:03. > :30:18.Not bad. But goes past the green, I think. And ideally just past the

:30:19. > :30:31.blue would give him a chance to knock the two reds out. He has

:30:32. > :30:35.stunned it instead for an angle on the pink. He may have the right

:30:36. > :30:42.angle, as well - it was more critical but this is a chance.

:30:43. > :30:55.He had to be so precise there to get on the pink to give himself - I was

:30:56. > :31:02.with you, I thought he might roll through for the blue. It was easier

:31:03. > :31:07.to guarantee a good angle to move the reds. But another fraction and

:31:08. > :31:11.this would have been on. It was a great way to play it. He knew

:31:12. > :31:15.exactly what he was doing with that cue ball to get the right position

:31:16. > :31:26.on the pink and - oh! What a shot that was! Well, we didn't see that

:31:27. > :31:34.one coming! What a beauty that was. Didn't seem possible to get that cue

:31:35. > :31:38.ball out! But he is going for the throw here - what a fantastic

:31:39. > :31:48.performance. Oh, and I tell you what, that was ... .. ..... That was

:31:49. > :32:02.courageous. Courageous. This is John Higgins at his best. He got half a

:32:03. > :32:11.chance, it didn't look on, there was three difficult reds and he is only

:32:12. > :32:12.two points behind now. So one good position or shot here - make sure

:32:13. > :32:29.you don't cannon the brown. And it's just a bit shy. Another six

:32:30. > :32:31.inches and it would have been ideal. It's just a bit wider than he wants.

:32:32. > :32:46.Still, very gettable, of course. He really is a class act, John

:32:47. > :32:57.Higgins. But this is what he does best .

:32:58. > :33:04.So he just needs the brown and the blue and it will be quite a relieved

:33:05. > :33:07.John Higgins, because he led 4-1, it all looked plain sailing, but his

:33:08. > :33:22.good friend Jamie battled his way back to four each, and what a way to

:33:23. > :33:26.close the match out. No wonder he is puffing his cheeks there! And what a

:33:27. > :33:37.mouth-watering afternoon you are in for - Neil Robertson will be playing

:33:38. > :33:44.John Higgins. Jamie Burnett put in a good effort and he almost got back

:33:45. > :33:48.against John Higgins - from 4-1 down he levelled it 4-4, but in the end,

:33:49. > :33:51.after Jamie made that break of 48, John Higgins showed his class and he

:33:52. > :33:58.dished up and he goes through to the quarterfinal, winning six frames to

:33:59. > :34:02.four. At 4-1 in front, I felt OK, I missed a couple but then Jamie came

:34:03. > :34:06.back really strong at me and I was just bracing myself for the deciding

:34:07. > :34:10.frame. He potted a great red at the start of the tenth frame and he was

:34:11. > :34:15.looking good. Lucky for me, he missed a red and I managed to clear

:34:16. > :34:19.up, which was good. I think Jamie had me under pressure in the ninth

:34:20. > :34:25.frame and he missed a red which I'm sure if he went 5-4 in front he

:34:26. > :34:29.could probably have won. He gave me a chance and I done 100, and a tough

:34:30. > :34:34.clearance at the end there, but I just decided to go for it and

:34:35. > :34:40.luckily for me, it went in. And John Higgins will meet the 2013 UK

:34:41. > :34:43.champion, Neil Robertson, at 1:00 tomorrow after thumping another

:34:44. > :34:46.Scott, Stephen Maguire, 6-1, knocking in three centuries and

:34:47. > :34:51.winning six frames on the bounce. Last night, I was doing a bit of

:34:52. > :34:56.practice and, you know, part of my routine, I was just playing some

:34:57. > :34:59.safety shots, as well, and Stephen has come in, and he has gone, "Don't

:35:00. > :35:05.you dare be playing any of those tomorrow, don't you dare play clip,

:35:06. > :35:11.clip, clip". And I said, "Mate, you go for him and I will, I'm fine with

:35:12. > :35:17.that" and the way he started off, he really put a marker down and I knew

:35:18. > :35:21.I had to respond and be at my best today to beat him because he looked

:35:22. > :35:29.in a really determined mood today. Meanwhile, a long old afternoon for

:35:30. > :35:38.China's Liang Wenbo and Tom Ford, who accused Wenbo of being boring

:35:39. > :35:47.after losing. I think I changed my mind, yeah, at 5-3 down and I don't

:35:48. > :35:51.know why, yeah? I was very relaxed and enjoyed playing that red ball. I

:35:52. > :35:59.don't know why, I just concentrated on playing. And after I gave in to

:36:00. > :36:07.the pressure. I tried to work hard, and I had the safety long shot and

:36:08. > :36:14.controlled the table and I had a good, good, good experience here.

:36:15. > :36:18.Well done to Liang. What a story this is, 46-year-old Joe Swail from

:36:19. > :36:23.Belfast didn't even get past the first round in last year's UK chafrp

:36:24. > :36:28.but tonight was looking for a place in the last eight tonight taking on

:36:29. > :36:33.Londoner Martin Gould. He leads the match 2-1. They share the first four

:36:34. > :36:41.frames. We will pick up the action in the fifth, Swail trailing by

:36:42. > :36:45.twelve points. Yeah, as long as nothing goes into the right centre,

:36:46. > :36:49.it's OK, but the red that's pottable, it's not possible to find

:36:50. > :36:54.a gap there around the back of the black, so just a containing safety

:36:55. > :37:05.shot. But he has got to leave this red here. Now, it is a bit of a

:37:06. > :37:11.tester for Martin Gould. Both reds pottable into this bottom right-hand

:37:12. > :37:16.corner pocket. He does have a nice angle to - he has taken the second

:37:17. > :37:25.red. Maybe he can get through the gap with the black in the pack. He

:37:26. > :37:29.played that safety shot a little bit too hard, Joe. He wanted to leave

:37:30. > :37:37.the cue ball right in the jaws. A little bit pacy, wasn't it? He would

:37:38. > :37:38.love to try and get on one of these reds into the left-hand corner

:37:39. > :38:05.pocket. Stay on the black. A similar type of shot - just down

:38:06. > :38:08.between the pink and the red, just to the left of the pink. Throw this

:38:09. > :38:11.one away anywhere in that gap and he will be on a couple of reds into

:38:12. > :38:21.this left-hand corner pocket. Perfect.

:38:22. > :38:35.Sometimes you play those containing safety shots and you know you're

:38:36. > :38:39.going to leave a possible tempter. But the way Joe played it, it was

:38:40. > :38:48.just that bit too hard, wasn't it? It should have been closer to the

:38:49. > :38:51.corner pocket. You wouldn't have minded him playing for the first

:38:52. > :38:56.red, but to leave that second one was disappointing. That may be could

:38:57. > :39:25.and should have cost him the frame, the way the balls are.

:39:26. > :39:32.Well, that was sort of betwixt and between. I was sure he was trying to

:39:33. > :39:36.get on to the pink, maybe in the bottom right-hand corner pocket, but

:39:37. > :39:43.he overran it and now the cue ball must go in and out of baulk here.

:39:44. > :40:01.He is blessed with a lot of cue power, Martin, isn't he? He gets the

:40:02. > :40:30.cue ball moving OK. Well, this will tidy up the awkward

:40:31. > :40:48.reds, as regards staying around the black is concerned.

:40:49. > :40:53.Everyone has been complaining about kicks on this table, but I don't

:40:54. > :40:58.think we've had a kick tonight. Can you remember a kick? I'm not quite

:40:59. > :41:03.sure whether there were too many. A few of the players were complaining

:41:04. > :41:08.all week about kicks and we saw a few this afternoon, but not too many

:41:09. > :41:19.tonight. Although a few times the players have got the cue ball

:41:20. > :41:23.cleaned. Sometimes you get bad contacts, even though the balls

:41:24. > :41:30.still do go into the pocket, but it's the cue ball that doesn't

:41:31. > :41:34.travel through on the path chosen by the players. But the table looks to

:41:35. > :41:39.be playing a lot better today - although there have been quite a few

:41:40. > :41:41.bounces, I must say. The cushions are playing very, very quick indeed.

:41:42. > :43:30.He is lucky there. Holds his hand up.

:43:31. > :43:44.Frame one truly over now - he can start to concentrate on making a

:43:45. > :43:47.possible century. Yeah, he has made 132 career centuries - 15 last

:43:48. > :44:27.season, seven so far this season. That was an incredible achievement

:44:28. > :44:31.from Neil Robertson two seasons ago - 100 centuries in one season. Quite

:44:32. > :44:37.amazing. I will be absolutely amazed if anybody is anywhere near that.

:44:38. > :44:41.Some people have made 60, but to get anywhere near 100 is just

:44:42. > :44:51.remarkable. I think Judd Trump made 80 last season, yeah. Incredible

:44:52. > :44:52.achievement. A lot of pros haven't made 80 in their career, never mind

:44:53. > :45:49.in one season. Well played by Martin Gould - a

:45:50. > :46:04.wonderful break. There has been a lot of really high

:46:05. > :46:09.centuries this week, haven't there? I think we have had five breaks of

:46:10. > :46:11.140, another three or four of 130. This is another chance of getting

:46:12. > :46:18.another 130-plus. There has been quite a number. I'm not quite sure

:46:19. > :46:25.of the complete amount so far in the UK championships, but it's well up -

:46:26. > :46:32.and this is the 90th. And that's quite a lot, isn't it, for a UK

:46:33. > :46:37.championship and we're still.. Three days to go? Everybody is moaning

:46:38. > :47:00.about the tables but they can't be that bad, can they?!

:47:01. > :47:09.So a wonderful clearance of 131 from Martin Gould. Gets his nose in front

:47:10. > :47:13.for the first time in this match and he now leads by three frames to two.

:47:14. > :47:18.Gould then took the next two frames before Swail pulled another back

:47:19. > :47:22.thanks to a break of 54, but Gould kept piling on the pressure in frame

:47:23. > :47:27.nine and with Swail needing snookers, the Londoner ranked 24 in

:47:28. > :47:33.the world booked his place in the last eight, with Joe conceding and

:47:34. > :47:37.Martin Gould will now meet David Grace in another all-England clash -

:47:38. > :47:46.that gets under way tomorrow evening at 7:00. Well done to Martin Gould.

:47:47. > :47:51.Struggled first sort of three, four frames. Didn't really settle down as

:47:52. > :47:57.well as I would like. There was a lot of pressure on both of us.

:47:58. > :47:59.Massive tournament, the UK championship, and to reach the

:48:00. > :48:05.quarterfinals is a huge achievement. But I've managed to settle down and

:48:06. > :48:11.come out and played some really good stuff. I had a fair little bit of

:48:12. > :48:15.run, but I took advantage of it and Joe found the table quite difficult,

:48:16. > :48:21.I think, he got little kicks and I don't think he was too happy with

:48:22. > :48:24.how the table played. But I just carried on doing what I have to do

:48:25. > :48:29.and tried to ignore what was going on with Joe. So, yeah, I'm delighted

:48:30. > :48:33.to be through. A cracking quarterfinal line-up, this is how it

:48:34. > :48:37.looks - Leeds David Grace takes on Martin Gould for a place in the

:48:38. > :48:44.semifinals. Liang Wenbo takes on Marco Fu, who dumped out Shaun

:48:45. > :48:48.Murphy. Neil Robertson takes on John Higgins, and Matthew Selt, the world

:48:49. > :48:54.number 25, takes on world number one and 2012 you can champion, Mark

:48:55. > :49:00.Selby. So we're all set for the quarterfinals. Extended highlights

:49:01. > :49:02.of Liang Wenbo taking on Tom Ford coming up straight after this

:49:03. > :49:08.programme. Thank you very much indeed for watching. We shall see

:49:09. > :49:14.you again at 1:00 on BBC Two with further live coverage of the Betway

:49:15. > :49:20.UK championship. From all of us here, bye for now.

:49:21. > :49:24.This is the FA Cup and anything can happen.
