:01:23. > :01:29.We are getting to the serious end of the tournament. Welcome to the

:01:30. > :01:33.second Wednesday at Wimbledon for men's quarterfinal day. The

:01:34. > :01:36.excitement is building as we await the eight men who have made their

:01:37. > :01:42.way through and still have their sights on the title but by the end

:01:43. > :01:46.of the day, it will become four. Roger Federer is a man looking to

:01:47. > :01:54.reach his 11th semifinal and is on a mission for a record eighth title.

:01:55. > :01:58.Marin Cilic is his opponent and the big serving Croatian knows what it

:01:59. > :02:05.takes to be Federer and win a Grand Slam. Tomas Berdych loves the grass.

:02:06. > :02:12.He made the final in 2010 and has the Game to trouble anyone. Today,

:02:13. > :02:15.he faces Frenchman Lucas Pouille who has never won a match on grass

:02:16. > :02:26.before last week but his potential is proven. Slamming Sam Querrey has

:02:27. > :02:31.been in the form of his life. The big American dumped out Novak

:02:32. > :02:37.Djokovic and has the serve and the nerve to go all the way. He plays

:02:38. > :02:44.Milos Raonic. The classy Canadian came back from two sets down to

:02:45. > :02:49.prove he is tough and talented. And for the fourth and final match,

:02:50. > :02:52.popular Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, twice a semifinalist and a

:02:53. > :03:03.man with a dangerous grass court game. He takes on Britain's Andy

:03:04. > :03:07.Murray. The 2013 champion is looking to reach the last four for the

:03:08. > :03:14.seventh time. He is yet to drop a set. He will have the Centre Court

:03:15. > :03:21.crowd on his side but Tsonga is a tough opponent. What a day and what

:03:22. > :03:27.four matchups to look forward to. First on Centre Court is the man

:03:28. > :03:31.himself, Roger Federer, up against a dangerous opponent in Marin Cilic,

:03:32. > :03:41.who has Goran Ivanisevic in his corner. Over on Court Number One at

:03:42. > :03:45.1pm, Sam Querrey is in his first Grand Slam quarterfinal, up against

:03:46. > :03:50.Milos Raonic, who knows all about the big occasion. And Tomas Berdych

:03:51. > :03:58.is playing his fourth day in a row against Lucas Pouille. And there is

:03:59. > :04:05.live pictures of Andy Murray out on his favoured practice court with his

:04:06. > :04:08.coach and he has had a steely determination throughout these

:04:09. > :04:12.championships, not being drawn into the fact he is favourite for the

:04:13. > :04:20.title now that Novak Djokovic is out of the tournament. But Andy Murray

:04:21. > :04:22.will be on court, that is our late entertainment, Andy Murray against

:04:23. > :04:30.Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. What a match to look forward to. Murray is out

:04:31. > :04:34.there, as is Sam Querrey, who has been rejuvenated with his coach. He

:04:35. > :04:39.wants to stay aggressive when it gets tight and he has certainly

:04:40. > :04:48.proven that. He will be first on Court Number One. Two big servers.

:04:49. > :04:52.He and Raonic have served 198 aces between them at the championship.

:04:53. > :04:59.This is the scene at Court Two and we will be heading there live at

:05:00. > :05:06.midday today. It is a doubles match. Joe Colton and Maria Sanchez. It

:05:07. > :05:12.will be on the red button when that match gets underway and we will be

:05:13. > :05:16.there after 12pm. We have made our way above Henman Hill and we are

:05:17. > :05:24.joined by former champion Richard Krajicek. Nice of you to dress up

:05:25. > :05:31.for us. Two things happened. I was practising and I am going to the

:05:32. > :05:37.Royal box. So we don't matter? Tim is on the committee and he said it

:05:38. > :05:42.is OK. You have been a busy man, coaching and playing in the

:05:43. > :05:51.tournament. I have been busy. Now my days are really full. Let's take you

:05:52. > :05:55.back to that victory in 1996. How special was that day and that Grand

:05:56. > :06:05.Slam win? It was a very special day. When I beat Pete in the

:06:06. > :06:12.quarterfinals,, I win this point and it was for me and amazing moment. I

:06:13. > :06:17.dream about it, I saw beyond Borg winning in the late 70s, and

:06:18. > :06:24.suddenly you are hoping for it for yourself so it was a great win. You

:06:25. > :06:28.have not changed at all. In the sunshine you don't see the grey

:06:29. > :06:33.hair. Talk about the match with Pete. What was the score in that

:06:34. > :06:40.one? It was close. It was straight sets. In the first set, Pete was the

:06:41. > :06:45.better player. I was lucky to hang in there until 5-5. I made a break

:06:46. > :06:53.and the game really changed. Then there was an incident with the rain.

:06:54. > :06:59.They pulled the cover and one of them fell under the cover so they

:07:00. > :07:06.had to pull the cover back and then the rain... And then we had to come

:07:07. > :07:11.back the next day. Then you start thinking about it, is this what

:07:12. > :07:15.happens? Will this go wrong? But I came back and it was a good feeling.

:07:16. > :07:22.We don't want to bring up the rain with your match? Thank you. 1996 was

:07:23. > :07:27.the first year I played well at Wimbledon and that was in the middle

:07:28. > :07:31.of beat Sampras' domination. This was the only man to be able to beat

:07:32. > :07:37.him. He had a tough loss the following year though. I don't

:07:38. > :07:43.remember that! I played very well in the first three matches. I got a

:07:44. > :07:51.taste of the British crowd. That was really good. It was actually a good

:07:52. > :07:55.memory. I was unhappy but it was really nice to play against a

:07:56. > :07:59.British player. The crowd was really into it. The best thing is when you

:08:00. > :08:04.beat the British player because then they are nice and quiet. Andy Murray

:08:05. > :08:10.is going to have the British crowd on his side. We have had one massive

:08:11. > :08:14.shock and a number of assets. It is a different line-up in this

:08:15. > :08:22.quarterfinal. It is a bit strange. You don't know who to pick. Novak

:08:23. > :08:25.Djokovic losing. The last two years, he has dominated. Although he had to

:08:26. > :08:33.fight through last year against Anderson. He was two sets down. The

:08:34. > :08:41.second set was terrible. But all credit to Querrey. He was tough and

:08:42. > :08:47.he managed to break and he took advantage of Novak Djokovic not

:08:48. > :08:52.being at his best. Last year, against Anderson, and this year

:08:53. > :08:59.against Simon in the Australian Open, he made 104th errors and still

:09:00. > :09:02.Novak wins. No Novak in the second week. Does that change the dynamics

:09:03. > :09:08.of the tournament for the players in the locker room? Absolutely. There

:09:09. > :09:14.are so many different aspects of the draw that can have an impact. Andy

:09:15. > :09:19.Murray is in the other half so the only way it is going to have an

:09:20. > :09:23.impact on him is if he gets to the final. But everyone is saying he is

:09:24. > :09:33.the favourite so it must affect him. He is the favourite. The way Murray

:09:34. > :09:39.and Novak Djokovic have played this year, many of us were predicting

:09:40. > :09:42.another final between them but Murray is very experienced and he is

:09:43. > :09:47.very good at controlling the things he can control. What is happening in

:09:48. > :09:52.the other half of the draw, he can't control. He lost control for about

:09:53. > :09:59.three minutes because when it came on the screen in Centre Court, you

:10:00. > :10:03.drop his serve. The only lapse in confrontation during the whole

:10:04. > :10:09.tournament. It hit him for five minutes and now he is back to normal

:10:10. > :10:13.again. In the top half of the draw, Federer is trying to play himself

:10:14. > :10:17.into form in this tournament. He has not played a massive amount of

:10:18. > :10:26.tennis. But with all due respect, he has not really been challenged.

:10:27. > :10:30.Willis? He had the crowd support. This man has not dropped a set

:10:31. > :10:35.either. We are going to look through all four matches on the show courts

:10:36. > :10:40.today. He is taking on Jo-Wilfried Tsonga today. Russell Fuller has

:10:41. > :10:46.broken to him about his progress through the championship and his

:10:47. > :10:48.dominant victory over Nick Kyrgios. The most eagerly anticipated

:10:49. > :10:57.confrontation of Wimbledon 2016 so far.

:10:58. > :11:04.The first set was tough. He hit high 80% on the first serve and to see

:11:05. > :11:10.that setup was big for me. It has been a good start. I have played

:11:11. > :11:16.well in the important moments in all of the matches and it has been good.

:11:17. > :11:21.You have got a very good record against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, and

:11:22. > :11:25.against French players. What particular challenges as he

:11:26. > :11:29.presents? He is a magnificent athlete, he is well suited to grass,

:11:30. > :11:34.he likes to come to the net, he likes to come forward so he is very

:11:35. > :11:42.explosive. He can hit winners from all over the court. Sometimes he is

:11:43. > :11:47.a little bit about down during the matches so it is always tough

:11:48. > :11:51.against him. When there are a few surprises in Grand Slams as there

:11:52. > :11:55.have been this week with players like Novak Djokovic and Stan

:11:56. > :12:00.Wawrinka beaten early, are you good at staying in the moment and not

:12:01. > :12:03.getting ahead of yourself or is that where your coaches come in? Your

:12:04. > :12:10.coaches can definitely help with that, for sure. I have also been on

:12:11. > :12:14.the tour for 11 or 12 years now so you know best how to deal with that

:12:15. > :12:19.and you get distracted at this level, it can cost you.

:12:20. > :12:25.He is a great tactician but he is a different person encore when Ivan

:12:26. > :12:31.Lendl is in the box. He is definitely more focused. There has

:12:32. > :12:35.been less volatility, less chat. But that is also a reflection of the way

:12:36. > :12:40.he has played in the last ten weeks. In the clay-court season, he played

:12:41. > :12:45.so well from Madrid onwards. He won Rome, he made the final of the

:12:46. > :12:49.French Open for the first time and lost to Novak Djokovic. Although it

:12:50. > :12:53.is a different surface, it is a great foundation, because grass is

:12:54. > :12:58.all about baseline rallies now. That foundation has been in place for a

:12:59. > :13:02.while but when he looks at the box and sees Ivan Lendl sitting there,

:13:03. > :13:08.it probably means he is less inclined to rant and rave. I think

:13:09. > :13:12.he applauded him twice in his last match. He is a tough man to please

:13:13. > :13:20.but he has certainly made an impact on Murray and he is asking him to be

:13:21. > :13:27.more aggressive. For sure. Now it is a strategy but also mental because

:13:28. > :13:32.Ivan Lendl is in his box. When they work together, he has really told

:13:33. > :13:36.Andy, be more aggressive, because sometimes Andy, when he was behind

:13:37. > :13:40.the baseline, and you hit the ball as hard as possible, that is

:13:41. > :13:44.aggressive, but that is counterpunching, which is also very

:13:45. > :13:51.good. But now he takes the game to the opponent. It is tough to play

:13:52. > :13:55.him. He plays so quick. But then as a backhand, he makes unbelievable

:13:56. > :13:59.angles. I would not know where to play. I think I would play up the

:14:00. > :14:05.middle against him because once he gets an angle, he gets more angle

:14:06. > :14:10.back. It is terrible to play but that is why he is number two. And he

:14:11. > :14:15.can use the angles because he is so fast himself, he can run everything

:14:16. > :14:17.down. He is so good at getting the ball back into play and that is

:14:18. > :14:24.something he did so well against Nick Kyrgios. If he needs to defend,

:14:25. > :14:28.his movement is so good, his balance is a good and he has the dexterity,

:14:29. > :14:33.the feel on the shots to get the ball back in awkward positions for

:14:34. > :14:39.his opponent. He is certainly in a good spot by now. He is a great

:14:40. > :14:43.defender. His first serve is very good, his second serve much better.

:14:44. > :14:48.A couple of years ago, his second serve was really slow and nobody

:14:49. > :14:52.could hit him of the court. He has that slice where he is almost on the

:14:53. > :15:00.defence. It is low and away from you. And because of that field, he

:15:01. > :15:05.also has great follies. For me, especially the backhand volley, it

:15:06. > :15:09.is unbelievable. He also knows exactly where to hit it, when to go

:15:10. > :15:14.deep, when to make a short angle. There are so many good things about

:15:15. > :15:19.Andy. And we have seen that in the Davis Cup when he has played doubles

:15:20. > :15:24.with his brother. High praise from a Wimbledon champion. But from one

:15:25. > :15:28.great athlete to another and that is his opponent today, Jo-Wilfried

:15:29. > :15:32.Tsonga. He is also one of the great entertainers.

:15:33. > :15:36.I will do everything to be perfect for the next round.

:15:37. > :15:41.I am playing well, it is going to continue and the most important

:15:42. > :15:42.thing is to be consistent. An incredible start by the

:15:43. > :15:55.Frenchman. That is amazing!

:15:56. > :15:58.It is Jo-Wilfried Tsonga who goes through.

:15:59. > :16:15.What a wonderful tennis rally. A stunning return.

:16:16. > :16:23.Wonderful. Game, set and match, Tsonga.

:16:24. > :16:28.It is going to be a challenge but I am feeling good.

:16:29. > :16:31.He has won some great matches at Wimbledon and grass court pedigree.

:16:32. > :16:37.We were just reflecting on that match against Roger Federer two

:16:38. > :16:43.years ago and he was down two sets. It is very unusual to say Roger

:16:44. > :16:46.Federer is bullied on a grass court. If his serve and his forehand are

:16:47. > :16:51.working, he is difficult to play against because he has so much

:16:52. > :16:56.firepower. Whether he has the consistency to trouble Marie, we

:16:57. > :17:02.will have to wait and see. John Isner, 19-17 in the fifth set. When

:17:03. > :17:06.I saw that the match ended early against which a gas gay, I thought

:17:07. > :17:15.it was Tsonga because he had played a long gap -- long game. But it was

:17:16. > :17:20.his opponent who had to pull out. But it was good for him because he

:17:21. > :17:28.did not have a day to recover. John McEnroe said he would be delighted

:17:29. > :17:34.with it. Trying to break his serve is richly impossible. Also, in the

:17:35. > :17:37.referee's office, there was big concern about this because we had

:17:38. > :17:43.been playing catch-up in the first week because of the rain and then

:17:44. > :17:47.when you see John is at 16-16 in the faith, we might be here until the

:17:48. > :17:52.third Wednesday. We were certainly pleased to see a winner from that

:17:53. > :18:02.match. Looking at the head to head, it is 12-2 for Andy Murray. How good

:18:03. > :18:08.is his return? The backhand is a little bit of bounce down. He can be

:18:09. > :18:12.a little bit erratic with it. Murray needs to be able to pressure on the

:18:13. > :18:17.backhand all time. And I think Murray has a better return than

:18:18. > :18:27.Federer. I don't think it will happen, what happened to Federer a

:18:28. > :18:31.couple of years ago. Murray is going to return better, he is going to hit

:18:32. > :18:35.more balls to the backhand and then he is going to feel pressure to do

:18:36. > :18:40.something with the backhand. If it is too easy at the first shot,

:18:41. > :18:45.Murray is going to put pressure on you. Unless he serves aces all the

:18:46. > :18:55.time, it is going to be Murray's match in four sets. Murray. Tsonga

:18:56. > :18:59.has got to attack, hasn't he? If he can serve and blade forehands, he

:19:00. > :19:05.can be aggressive, but the reality is, Murray is so good at defending,

:19:06. > :19:09.he is going to add to take a risk on Tsonga's backhand and that is where

:19:10. > :19:15.he is a bit erratic. I don't think he has the technique to deliver

:19:16. > :19:20.that. I see Murray delivering in three tight sets, maybe four. First

:19:21. > :19:25.on is Roger Federer. He was a practising earlier this morning.

:19:26. > :19:29.Well, just looking like a stroll in the park. But he knows all about

:19:30. > :19:35.that. He was out on court with his coach. He is first on Centre Court

:19:36. > :19:41.today and he takes on Marin Cilic, a former US Open champion. If you

:19:42. > :19:49.think that seems easy, think again. I don't believe that! That was

:19:50. > :19:53.extraordinary. It is the perfect way to get to the

:19:54. > :19:57.quarters. I never thought I was going to lose sets. I thought I

:19:58. > :20:01.might lose in the first three at Wimbledon because I came in with

:20:02. > :20:07.really low expectations and I didn't just say that to say it, Irene meant

:20:08. > :20:12.it. But I did not know where I was. It was never flowing. It was never

:20:13. > :20:17.quite happening. I was fighting with my body, with my confidence,

:20:18. > :20:21.everything, so I came to Wimbledon just hoping it was going to be OK

:20:22. > :20:28.and if I got through the first week, who knows? Roger has had so much

:20:29. > :20:32.success over the years at Wimbledon and the grass is perfect for his

:20:33. > :20:37.game and he enjoys playing on it but it is going to be our first meeting

:20:38. > :20:44.on grass. It is the quarterfinals, it is a big one. We have not played

:20:45. > :20:47.since the US Open in 2014. I have great memories since then and I am

:20:48. > :20:51.in a position where I am playing well, I am very confident and I am

:20:52. > :20:57.looking forward to playing a great match. He has got a bigger serve and

:20:58. > :21:02.he is quite dangerous off the return as well because he just swings at it

:21:03. > :21:06.and when he goes red hot like he did at the US Open, he blew me off the

:21:07. > :21:14.court. I would not say it happened like that but I had a really amazing

:21:15. > :21:18.day that time and with Roger, definitely, it is always very

:21:19. > :21:24.tricky. He is a player that possesses many great things in his

:21:25. > :21:30.game, different shots and his ability to play all different types

:21:31. > :21:34.of games so you have to be ready for everything and to play tactically

:21:35. > :21:38.well. I have got to find a way to make him feel uncomfortable. We

:21:39. > :21:41.practised her ten days ago and he was playing really well so I am not

:21:42. > :21:44.surprised to see him in the quarters as well.

:21:45. > :21:50.Roger Federer saying he was not sure about the first week, but he looked

:21:51. > :21:55.all right, didn't he? I think the first round was his toughest

:21:56. > :21:59.challenge. It was the first day, a green grass court, it did not look

:22:00. > :22:02.like his movement was pitifully good, he was not timing the ball

:22:03. > :22:07.perfectly, but he found a way to get through that. He had Willis in the

:22:08. > :22:11.second round who played a very unorthodox game, made him run a lot

:22:12. > :22:16.and that really loosened him up. It is definitely going to be a proper

:22:17. > :22:20.challenge today. He had a potentially tough opponent in Steve

:22:21. > :22:27.Johnson who did well on the grass in the build-up. He had some big shots

:22:28. > :22:34.but Federer had all the answers. There were some big shots but he

:22:35. > :22:38.stays back. He has the forehand, he was going to make a few, I thought

:22:39. > :22:43.Roger was going to chop him up with his life. The backhand was not

:22:44. > :22:49.really good enough to hurt Roger. And when Roger was coming in, when

:22:50. > :22:55.Steve was coming in, his volleys were not good enough. A big serve, a

:22:56. > :23:01.big forehand, I thought he might win a set, but I was not surprised by

:23:02. > :23:04.this result. And Roger seemed to be coming forward more. Stefan Edberg

:23:05. > :23:10.came to watch him, he is not coaching him any more, but a big

:23:11. > :23:15.friend. There are two sides to that. Grass gives you the best opportunity

:23:16. > :23:20.to really be offensive but also, Roger's age, some of the injuries he

:23:21. > :23:24.has had, his defensive skills are going to suffer so he does not want

:23:25. > :23:28.to be three or four feet behind the baseline, he has got to be

:23:29. > :23:32.aggressive and he can set that up with a good serve and dictating with

:23:33. > :23:39.his forehand. It is that proactive, reactive will stop and playing Marin

:23:40. > :23:44.Cilic, even Roger said he blew him away at the US Open. He served a

:23:45. > :23:48.unbelievable and it was Roger's big chance to win another Grand Slam

:23:49. > :23:54.because Novak lost. That means there is a chance for everybody. Marin

:23:55. > :24:01.Cilic decided to hit aces for three sets. He is dangerous still but I

:24:02. > :24:08.think he does not move so well on the grass. Unless he serves

:24:09. > :24:17.unbelievable, I think Roger will win this. But it normally depends on

:24:18. > :24:22.Roger, how he plays. But I still think Roger is going to win this. He

:24:23. > :24:29.impressed me with the way he has played. But it could be a tough five

:24:30. > :24:33.set match. He took Novak to five set three years ago. He has got Goran

:24:34. > :24:38.Ivanisevic in his corner. That is when he won the US Open, with

:24:39. > :24:43.Koranic there. He has given him believe he can win these matches.

:24:44. > :24:47.Getting involved, the ex-players, it is not necessarily about teaching

:24:48. > :24:50.them to hit new shots, it is about the strategy and psychology of

:24:51. > :24:55.playing in the second week of Grand Slams and there is no doubt Goran

:24:56. > :25:01.Ivanisevic played a big part in Marin Cilic winning the US Open.

:25:02. > :25:06.Once he caused the big upset against Federer, he was always to go out and

:25:07. > :25:09.finish the job. It is that difference because they are all such

:25:10. > :25:16.great players but having the belief to go on and win the title is in

:25:17. > :25:21.here. It is mental also. And also it is a little bit to do with tennis.

:25:22. > :25:29.Sometimes a player can have too much respect for the opponent. On grass,

:25:30. > :25:36.it is not bad to come in sometimes. You have got to keep going. You have

:25:37. > :25:41.got to ask the question all the time, can you pass me? It is a

:25:42. > :25:46.combination of those things. Boris Becker has improved Novak's volleys.

:25:47. > :25:50.One of the reasons he played serve and volley was because Stefan Edberg

:25:51. > :26:01.joke Roger to play serve and volley. Now he feels much more confident at

:26:02. > :26:07.the net. Sometimes Marin Cilic was too impressed with his opponents. He

:26:08. > :26:11.has got a big game, even a guy like Roger Federer does not like to play

:26:12. > :26:16.you. When you slowly have the belief, you can start beating these

:26:17. > :26:20.players. Talking of the super coaches, we lost Routledge has John

:26:21. > :26:26.McEnroe. He takes on Sam Querrey over on Court Number One. Raonic

:26:27. > :26:29.came back from two sets down against David Goffin in the last round and

:26:30. > :26:37.he is an ominous presence in the top half of the draw.

:26:38. > :26:44.John McEnroe is quoted as saying if you can find between one and 2%,

:26:45. > :26:53.everybody should be frightened. Do you think you are close to that? I

:26:54. > :26:59.am making a difference each and every match. Today was a big step

:27:00. > :27:05.forward for me mentally. And physically making that comeback. And

:27:06. > :27:13.I am sure I can play better in the next match and I hope to do so. Give

:27:14. > :27:18.us a little insight into what you are thinking when you are two sets

:27:19. > :27:24.down. If I am going to go out, it is going to be on my terms. Not

:27:25. > :27:28.everything was looking good and playing these long rallies, but that

:27:29. > :27:33.is not what I want to do, not only for myself but for my opponent. I

:27:34. > :27:36.tried to be more aggressive and take the match away from him, not give

:27:37. > :27:42.him so much rhythm during the points. A lot of people will focus

:27:43. > :27:45.on how strong your service, how fast it is, but there are other parts of

:27:46. > :27:50.your game that are getting better and better. How pleased by you with

:27:51. > :27:54.that aspect? I am doing a lot of things well and I am constantly

:27:55. > :27:59.trying to improve in every aspect, whether that be from my footwork to

:28:00. > :28:02.technical things, mental things, physical things. All these things I

:28:03. > :28:10.am endlessly looking to get better each and every day and I think it is

:28:11. > :28:16.showing. Sam Querrey is your next opponent. Give us your thoughts on

:28:17. > :28:21.the challenges you face. He has been playing well, creating the big

:28:22. > :28:24.storyline, the big upset, over Novak, and he has backed that up

:28:25. > :28:30.against a very difficult grass court player so he is doing a lot of good

:28:31. > :28:35.things well. I hope I can continue to do so as well and play the match

:28:36. > :28:39.on my terms. We have turned him into a bit of a

:28:40. > :28:44.monster there. He is a really nice guy. He has been serving well,

:28:45. > :28:49.coming back from two sets down for the first time in his career. No

:28:50. > :28:53.doubt about it. It is going to be a big boost to its confidence because

:28:54. > :28:58.David Goffin is a good player. Looking down the barrel of defeat,

:28:59. > :29:03.he was able to turn it around. When he played Murray in the final of

:29:04. > :29:07.Queen's, he is able to take the game out of his opponent's hands because

:29:08. > :29:13.he has got one of the best serves in the game. He is able to serve up 140

:29:14. > :29:18.mph continuously. If you can't get the return, it is difficult to make

:29:19. > :29:21.an impact. The question is whether he can maintain that consistency

:29:22. > :29:27.against the best players over five sets but he is certainly in a good

:29:28. > :29:31.position right now. He said John McEnroe has told him he has got to

:29:32. > :29:37.have more of an order on the court and impose himself more. It is also

:29:38. > :29:45.important and it goes together, I think he plays too much from the

:29:46. > :29:50.back still. To be two sets down against David Goffin, credit to him,

:29:51. > :29:54.but Milos Raonic decided to hardly serve and volley and then it is

:29:55. > :29:59.tough. It is very tough to move when you are tall but on grass it makes

:30:00. > :30:06.it even worse. Slowly he got a bit more aggressive but the key for him

:30:07. > :30:10.is to come in. He played two years ago against Federer but these guys

:30:11. > :30:14.are too good. You can't beat a player like David Goffin not coming

:30:15. > :30:17.into much but he has got to get ready to serve and volley because

:30:18. > :30:23.the ball comes quicker so if he gets to the semis, if he is going to play

:30:24. > :30:27.Federer, which I predict he will win, then he has got to come in

:30:28. > :30:32.because from the back it is going to be a nice match to watch but he is

:30:33. > :30:37.going to lose. But when you are not a natural volley coming forward, it

:30:38. > :30:41.is learning the step, it is not easy.

:30:42. > :30:48.It isn't and at this stage, sometimes in a tournament, against

:30:49. > :30:54.the very best players, you have got to be prepared to step outside your

:30:55. > :30:59.comfort zone. When you think about the things he is stepping into, with

:31:00. > :31:05.a seven folly, he doesn't need to do that all the time. Sometimes he can

:31:06. > :31:11.set up the heat after the serve. If he is coming in on a bluff, he will

:31:12. > :31:22."He doesn't move so well, he's not agile at the net, but if he can

:31:23. > :31:26.execute his first shot, you are not giving someone might Federer his

:31:27. > :31:34.opportunity to use all that he can do. And it is like a new Sam Querrey

:31:35. > :31:37.we are seeing today? We saw the old Sam Querrey at some point in the

:31:38. > :31:44.match when he was hitting the bottom of the net when he was at a chance

:31:45. > :31:50.to break, but in the tie-break, he took his chance. He really made a

:31:51. > :31:55.step. If he has the opportunity today against Raonic, I think he

:31:56. > :31:59.will take it. Mentally, it was very big for him and it will help him for

:32:00. > :32:05.the rest of the year. I think all so having beaten docker pitch, there

:32:06. > :32:16.was an enormous amount of pressure on his shoulders. No one had beaten

:32:17. > :32:24.Novak for a year and then he had to play Mahut, again, pressured, and

:32:25. > :32:27.now that he is playing Raonic, I think the pressure is of Querrey a

:32:28. > :32:33.little bit. He will be a formidable match for anyone. Being a big

:32:34. > :32:39.server, how difficult is it playing another player like that? It

:32:40. > :32:49.depends. It is not so nice to play a big server and normally I was the

:32:50. > :32:53.one giving that to the opponent, but suddenly when the opponent is doing

:32:54. > :32:57.that to you, you can be setup and still not be hitting the ball today.

:32:58. > :33:10.It will be a really enjoyable match to watch? If somebody wins the set

:33:11. > :33:13.and doesn't say anything, it is possible to say the person who loses

:33:14. > :33:17.the set actually feel they were playing better than the other guy.

:33:18. > :33:23.There will be a viewpoint is here and there, that's what I expect. I

:33:24. > :33:30.can't call this one. For me, this is a tough one. When you are playing,

:33:31. > :33:36.if there are two players who have a very big serve, when a half chance

:33:37. > :33:40.is offered up, you really have to be ready for it because that might be

:33:41. > :33:46.your only chance in the set. One more quarter to talk about and that

:33:47. > :33:56.is Thomas Berdych against Lucas pulled. We had over two the mark

:33:57. > :34:01.veggie now. You could be forgiven for wondering

:34:02. > :34:06.just how much Lucas Pouille is. He has already surpassed his

:34:07. > :34:13.expectations by reaching this stage. What can you tell us? He had not won

:34:14. > :34:19.a grass court match coming in to this year's Wimbledon but he moved

:34:20. > :34:26.to Dubai so he could practice with Roger Federer and he is with the

:34:27. > :34:34.best coach in France and he said he was watching him practice one day,

:34:35. > :34:41.from 1pm to 6pm, and he suddenly thought the hard work was showing

:34:42. > :34:46.that it was paying off. Some of the French guys say that he is more like

:34:47. > :34:50.a Spaniard with his workrate. Is there enough in his armoury at the

:34:51. > :34:59.moment? Thomas is one of the biggest hitters out on the till and he has

:35:00. > :35:05.gone back out -- gone back to his old racket. Lucas does not handle

:35:06. > :35:13.pace that well and defend. I will have to go to with Berdych for the

:35:14. > :35:18.win, but Lucas has already really surprised us. We can see behind us

:35:19. > :35:25.that he is hitting with Jo-Wilfried Tsonga he will play Andy Murray

:35:26. > :35:29.later today. To Frenchman -- to French men who will be playing later

:35:30. > :35:37.this month in the Davis Cup and surely that is a big thing as well?

:35:38. > :35:43.His coat has always said he is one of the best players. The workrate

:35:44. > :35:48.that he has has propelled him to this stage. Being picked for Davis

:35:49. > :35:52.Cup for France is a big deal, as is the respect that that brings. There

:35:53. > :35:55.is such strength and depth in the men's game. Is that still the case

:35:56. > :36:01.even though Richard Gasquet is injured? It just keeps producing

:36:02. > :36:05.time and time again and it continues to do so. They are looking for the

:36:06. > :36:10.Grand Slam winner that they haven't had for a feud years and they have

:36:11. > :36:16.two shots at it here to date with Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Lucas. What

:36:17. > :36:23.do you make of the match? Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Andy Murray

:36:24. > :36:28.know each other very well. They do. Andy is great on the return and he

:36:29. > :36:35.direct a lot to the double hander of Job, which is a weakness. He would

:36:36. > :36:40.like to hit forehand and backhand but he doesn't have that luxury. I

:36:41. > :36:46.am not sure and will allow him an match. Is this the difference

:36:47. > :36:52.between two generations of French tennis at the moment? I think you

:36:53. > :36:57.are right. We have got somebody like Tsonga at 31 years of age and Lucas

:36:58. > :37:00.coming up who is younger. Something I have always admired about the

:37:01. > :37:04.French is not publicly they have always had a wonderful team ethic.

:37:05. > :37:07.They all seem to get on on the tiller and you can see them out

:37:08. > :37:12.there today, getting on and wishing each other the best. Let's bring it

:37:13. > :37:20.back firstly to Lucas Pouille. He had never won a grass court to match

:37:21. > :37:26.before and he said he had exceeded his own expectations. He has got a

:37:27. > :37:35.good game for grass. He was a game and a set down and it was a good

:37:36. > :37:41.win. I was more surprised by the Tomic win. Tomic is a great grass

:37:42. > :37:50.court player and mentally he is very strong. To be honest, I haven't seen

:37:51. > :37:56.him play very much, but Tim watched that game, so he can analyse it for

:37:57. > :38:03.us now. That is kind of you. I think I have seen as much of him as you

:38:04. > :38:10.have! It is about his attitude. Sometimes with the French players

:38:11. > :38:14.with a lot of flair but they don't have the mental side of it. He has

:38:15. > :38:19.been putting the hour within and his hard work on the practice court is

:38:20. > :38:24.paying off in this fortnight. Thomas Berdych has been a busy man the last

:38:25. > :38:28.few days, hasn't he? He had a classic two days ago and had to and

:38:29. > :38:36.finish it yesterday. It was an amazing match with two match points.

:38:37. > :38:43.I was a bit upset -- he was a bit upset that he didn't finish on

:38:44. > :38:47.Centre Court, because he missed a day off but because it was a

:38:48. > :38:52.relatively quick set, maybe it was nice to practice -- to play a real

:38:53. > :38:59.set rather than practice. I don't think it will hurt him too much. You

:39:00. > :39:06.get a feeling with Lucas Pouille that he had a good game on grass but

:39:07. > :39:11.Thomas Berdych is such a big hitter. Berdych will be the one who decides

:39:12. > :39:13.this match, whether he can get his first service percentage in and hit

:39:14. > :39:19.the back of the court. He is a really impressive ball striker. He

:39:20. > :39:23.really can strike the ball through the court. He saw his reaction

:39:24. > :39:26.there. I was interested to read that he hadn't lost to another player

:39:27. > :39:33.from the Czech Republic for ten years and he was a vis the keen to

:39:34. > :39:39.keep him in his place. Lucas Pouille he will now be on a big show court,

:39:40. > :39:43.his first Grand Slam quarterfinal. Surely the occasion will get to him

:39:44. > :39:51.a little bit? Maybe a little bit and he is a different kind of player.

:39:52. > :39:57.Everything is going to be different. He is in form. He has won four

:39:58. > :40:01.matches but you have to expect for Berdych to win this unless he comes

:40:02. > :40:06.out playing terrible, which can happen. The only thing I can see

:40:07. > :40:10.where he has a problem, where Federer chops him up, is if you can

:40:11. > :40:15.get low slices to his forehand. He really doesn't like that. I don't

:40:16. > :40:24.know if Pouille can really managed to do that. Tim, I will put you on

:40:25. > :40:28.the spot later, but as Richard is going to the Royal box, we are going

:40:29. > :40:40.to make you suffer now. Please give me the ball winners today. Federer

:40:41. > :40:52.or Cilic? Federer. Murray. Raonic. And Pouille. I was thinking of

:40:53. > :40:55.saying Cilic but then I was thinking I was saying before that Federer is

:40:56. > :41:00.going to win and I can't change my mind now. It is not like British

:41:01. > :41:08.politics. You can't just change of mind. I'm off now. He has to go.

:41:09. > :41:16.He's got to be in the Royal box in half an hour. Go. I have two shower.

:41:17. > :41:27.I wasn't going to mention that part yes. Keep the flies off. I put

:41:28. > :41:33.Richard Krajicek on the spot and now I am going to put Carol on the spot.

:41:34. > :41:37.Exactly the same as Tim's. I am sticking with them. Lovely weather

:41:38. > :41:43.today. Lovely blue skies. A little more clout will develop and the

:41:44. > :41:48.breeze is lighter than yesterday, so it feels much warmer. When the crowd

:41:49. > :41:53.-- cloud comes across, you will notice a dip in temperature, but

:41:54. > :42:01.even into the winter -- evening, it will stage right with sunny spells.

:42:02. > :42:11.Both Doctor Mara, temperatures up to 20, possibly 21, -- by tomorrow,

:42:12. > :42:18.temperatures up to 20, possibly 21, dry with sunny spells, and on

:42:19. > :42:22.Friday, we may start to see some spots of rain. For the weekend, it

:42:23. > :42:27.could become blustery and turning a bit more humid at times as well,

:42:28. > :42:35.see. It is not bad at all. After last weekend and weak, it is a lot

:42:36. > :42:41.better. Blustery conditions could be difficult? Yes, you have to play

:42:42. > :42:46.more cautiously when it is like that. You can't go quite so close to

:42:47. > :42:50.the lines. The players have had a lot to do with this tournament so

:42:51. > :42:58.far with all the rain delays, so that will just be another one for

:42:59. > :43:02.them to think about. Richard was in such a rush because you can't be

:43:03. > :43:07.late for the Royal box. No, I hope you was going to shower and change

:43:08. > :43:13.because you can't turn up like that! We are going to bring you some life

:43:14. > :43:17.tennis now because -- live tennis now because play is underway. That

:43:18. > :43:41.is the order of play on the show court today.

:43:42. > :43:51.We are heading out to court to for a women's double match. Right at the

:43:52. > :43:56.top, mighty kneeling guests and Mozart have been pretty much

:43:57. > :44:08.invincible. The Williams sisters came through yesterday.

:44:09. > :44:18.We are going to court to to watch Konta and Sanchez play Abbas and

:44:19. > :44:25.should read other. Let's join Lindsay Davenport and

:44:26. > :44:41.Matt Chilton. An interesting start to this match

:44:42. > :44:48.on Court Two, the sunken court. That is at the edge of the All-England

:44:49. > :44:49.Club. Based in beautiful afternoon sunshine now. For breaks of serve

:44:50. > :45:04.already. This match has been characterised by

:45:05. > :45:11.breaks of serve and a few nerves. Joanna Konta playing with Maria

:45:12. > :45:38.Sanchez of the US. The team of Babos and Shvedova got

:45:39. > :45:42.off to a slow start, but came back from a deficit and now they are a

:45:43. > :45:54.team who are controlling all the points, dictating play.

:45:55. > :46:04.That just floated to the back of the court. Wonderful control from Babos.

:46:05. > :46:15.Shvedova and Babos are excellent volley is and Shvedova stood her

:46:16. > :46:23.ground there. Here is this very deliberate service preparation from

:46:24. > :46:35.Joanna Konta. That lob is long, by miles.

:46:36. > :46:44.Konta has done a nice job in her service games, helped out by Sanchez

:46:45. > :46:51.at the net. Sanchez is more comfortable on the volleys. By

:46:52. > :47:13.contrast, Sanchez on her service game has struggled.

:47:14. > :47:35.They got lucky there. Sanchez went just a little bit early.

:47:36. > :47:44.Oh, right down the middle from Konta! Shvedova and Babos were left

:47:45. > :47:48.staring at each other as the ball went right between them. Bit of a

:47:49. > :47:53.tactical error here from Shvedova. She went up the middle to the better

:47:54. > :47:55.ground stroke of Konta. So comfortable with that backhand pass.

:47:56. > :48:16.Nicely played there. Oh, that is a super shot from

:48:17. > :48:26.Shvedova. The 28 Two Rd from Kazakhstan. -- the 28-year-old from

:48:27. > :48:33.Kazakhstan. She fell to Venus Williams on Court One yesterday in

:48:34. > :49:09.the Women's Singles. A nice server from Konta.

:49:10. > :49:31.Konta will rarely serve a slower phase than that. 77 mph. Not often

:49:32. > :49:39.you get a second serve ace in tennis but they are celebrating that. Those

:49:40. > :49:50.are the Konta Sanchez coaches there. In the blue hat and cravat is

:49:51. > :49:54.Konta's father. And Chris Everett is watching today as well. She is

:49:55. > :50:03.involved in the coaching of Maria Sanchez. She wins -- runs an Academy

:50:04. > :50:09.in the US and Maria Sanchez has trained that the last few years.

:50:10. > :50:12.They are very close. She is like a second mum to Maria. Spends an awful

:50:13. > :50:19.lot of time with Maria down at her Academy. Just a great influence in

:50:20. > :50:34.Maria's life will stop one of the legends of this sport. On women's US

:50:35. > :50:41.TV. Now a little bit of pressure and the Babos serve. The Hungary and

:50:42. > :50:42.serving to stay in the opening set. Just waiting for a few late arrivals

:50:43. > :51:04.to settle down and take their seats. That's about the best shot that

:51:05. > :51:32.we've seen throughout this match Maria Sanchez.

:51:33. > :51:47.Oh, good tennis! Nicely played up at net. Sanchez making sure of her

:51:48. > :51:51.volleys. One of her best returns. Moves forward. Again, look at her

:51:52. > :52:05.momentum. Always moving forward, closer to be net. -- the net. Oh!

:52:06. > :52:14.Down the line again. Konta on fire on that set points. Nicely played

:52:15. > :52:17.here. Shvedova has tried to be active at the net, taking the

:52:18. > :52:28.middle. Very smart play to try to go up her line.

:52:29. > :52:40.Of the frame with the return of serve. It's a day for some glasses

:52:41. > :52:46.and sun hats here on Court Two. The best winner we've had at Wimbledon

:52:47. > :52:53.-- the best weather we've had at Wimbledon so far.

:52:54. > :53:01.It's out. And the Anglo-American partnership take the opening set by

:53:02. > :53:18.six - four. Well, Konta and Sanchez punching

:53:19. > :53:24.above their weight here. Taking out the first set over the number five

:53:25. > :53:39.seeds. This is how it concluded. This bold overhead from Shvedova.

:53:40. > :53:46.And Babos giving Konta plenty of time and a mis-hit from the Hungary

:53:47. > :53:51.and to seal the opening set. What an up-and-down first set it was. 4-1

:53:52. > :53:56.lead for Sanchez and Konta, came back to 4-4, before they settle to

:53:57. > :54:16.come back to win 6-4. Really, the difference was returned

:54:17. > :54:21.in play. They were able to challenge the service of Babos and Shvedova

:54:22. > :54:28.more. It's a stunning day. The steeple of Saint Mary Church rising

:54:29. > :54:35.pencil sharp into the blue and white sky above this part of London. A

:54:36. > :54:46.green and pleasant land at this time of year.

:54:47. > :54:54.So, set number two about to get underway and the stronger of the

:54:55. > :55:22.servers in the Konta Sanchez team, Konta, will get things underway.

:55:23. > :55:31.Konta is definitely more comfortable at the back of the court and Sanchez

:55:32. > :55:48.is. She tries to take up a bit more time, coach more.

:55:49. > :56:00.Konta has got to be aware of when they are moving up at net. She had

:56:01. > :56:05.the whole line open. Konta and Sanchez have changed the serving

:56:06. > :56:31.order. Konta served from the other end during the first set.

:56:32. > :56:42.Oh, that's a lovely shot. Konta has played so well when she's had a

:56:43. > :56:49.target. She's just been perfect with her aim on these passing shots.

:56:50. > :57:06.We've seen her go up the middle, up the line and now here, the angle.

:57:07. > :57:16.Well left. Konta looking for the winner down the line. Spotted some

:57:17. > :57:20.space there and Babos saw that it was high and long. A couple of break

:57:21. > :58:22.points at the start of the second set.

:58:23. > :58:30.There was a moment during that rally where Konta was pretty sure the ball

:58:31. > :58:36.had gone long. She had the option of stopping and calling it but she

:58:37. > :58:43.played through and her option was gone. A break of serve in the first

:58:44. > :58:52.game of the second set. It looked long to me. That is the first time

:58:53. > :58:59.Konta has been broken in this match. A couple of unforced errors there

:59:00. > :59:03.from Konta. It is tough. A team like Babos and Shvedova always looking to

:59:04. > :59:09.put pressure on. Come to the net, be aggressive.

:59:10. > :59:57.That is a nice play. Babos has struggled in his service games

:59:58. > :00:04.today. They are looking now to mix things up, try and give a different

:00:05. > :00:21.look to the Konta Sanchez team when they are returning.

:00:22. > :00:25.Babos and Shvedova starting to build up a little bit of momentum here as

:00:26. > :00:54.they stop to discuss tactics. That is nicely played from Maria

:00:55. > :00:56.Sanchez. Started with a good, deep return, followed it up and a nice

:00:57. > :01:21.feel on that backhand volley. A big chase on her. Sanchez has got

:01:22. > :01:46.there but could not find the target. Tactical discussions taking place

:01:47. > :01:51.behind closed doors with the players putting their hand or sometimes the

:01:52. > :01:58.tennis balls over their mouth. It is very much the common language out

:01:59. > :02:04.here this afternoon, English. I love that play. Sanchez putting all sorts

:02:05. > :02:11.of pressure on the second serve of Babos there. The backhand such a

:02:12. > :02:16.perfect stroke. After a difficult start of the ground, Maria Sanchez

:02:17. > :02:32.is starting to find her range around courts to macro. -- Court Two.

:02:33. > :03:14.That was out, I think. Johanna Konta had the perfect view of this. It hit

:03:15. > :03:19.the table and then it looked to me as if it landed out. Hawk-Eye will

:03:20. > :03:43.give us the final decision. It got half the line.

:03:44. > :03:56.The earlier break of serve consolidated for the Hungarian,

:03:57. > :04:00.Kazakhstan combination. Konta had an opportunity to put that backhand

:04:01. > :04:06.volley away and did not do it and her team paid the price. Now down to

:04:07. > :04:11.macro breaks with Maria Sanchez's serve and she is yet to hold her

:04:12. > :04:13.serve. Maybe they will have a little bit more luck from this end of the

:04:14. > :05:11.court. That is the best service came from

:05:12. > :05:16.Sanchez. All her serves well placed. An umbrella used for the right

:05:17. > :05:17.reason today, shielding the spectators from the warm afternoon

:05:18. > :06:11.sun. The return from Babos dipping

:06:12. > :06:13.towards the server. Sanchez will be hoping she can connect with a decent

:06:14. > :06:30.first serve her. While! From 40-0, they have made a

:06:31. > :06:39.mess of this game. She just hacked at that forehand volley. Sanchez's

:06:40. > :06:50.accuracy has been in and out throughout. And another errant first

:06:51. > :06:51.serve. She will have to make absolutely sure with the second

:06:52. > :07:12.serve. That was better play from Sanchez.

:07:13. > :07:52.She took her time with that forehand, set up.

:07:53. > :08:02.This would be a huge swing if Babos and Shvedova could break her again

:08:03. > :09:00.and maybe have the momentum in the second set.

:09:01. > :09:08.The Babos Shvedova are targeting Maria Sanchez at the back of the

:09:09. > :09:10.court, hitting everything back to her. They are aware that her

:09:11. > :09:35.confidence is shaken. Konta got away with not putting away

:09:36. > :09:41.that first forehand volley but she stayed so sharp at the neck, her

:09:42. > :09:49.feet, look at her continually moving around, until that overhead.

:09:50. > :10:00.Another miss from the back of the court from Sanchez. Difficult to

:10:01. > :10:12.watch all stop this game approaching six minutes. Deuce number four. That

:10:13. > :10:18.is a brilliant return from Babos. She enjoyed it. Raises her arms in

:10:19. > :10:21.almost a mock celebration that she was able to make this incredibly

:10:22. > :10:27.tough return. Break point, chance for a 3-0 lead

:10:28. > :10:53.for Babos and Shvedova now. Just when she needed it most, a

:10:54. > :11:00.coach of the work quality from Maria Sanchez. Excellent feel. This was a

:11:01. > :11:04.very difficult half-volley. She stayed low, sliced around the

:11:05. > :11:38.outside of that one. And a nice angle as well.

:11:39. > :11:47.So after five deuces in about seven minutes, Sanchez with a chance to

:11:48. > :12:09.finish this service game off. What a game, what an important hold,

:12:10. > :12:14.but still be number five seed in the driving seat at the start of this

:12:15. > :12:20.second set. We will be back with that match in a moment. But Martina

:12:21. > :12:29.Navratilova is back at Wimbledon. They defeated the pier from Britain.

:12:30. > :12:34.They remain unbeaten in this round robin format of the ladies

:12:35. > :12:39.invitation doubles. I think that is the politest way I can put it.

:12:40. > :12:44.Marvellous to see Martina back here today. If you missed the documentary

:12:45. > :12:49.on her life, you can catch it on the iPlayer. It is a fascinating insight

:12:50. > :12:53.into her life growing up in Czechoslovakia and her life on and

:12:54. > :12:58.off court over the years. Martina Loving being back at Wimbledon,

:12:59. > :13:02.still so enjoys playing the game and it is great to see her back at her

:13:03. > :13:08.favourite tournament. A via comments of victory for her and her partner

:13:09. > :13:13.there. Later on on Centre Court, this man will take on Andy Murray.

:13:14. > :13:20.Jo-Wilfried Tsonga came through an epic against John Isner a few days

:13:21. > :13:24.ago. 19-17 in the final set. These autograph hunters with this soapy

:13:25. > :13:29.chablis and a lot of players walk past but not Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

:13:30. > :13:34.Having his photo taken, signing the autographs. That is why he is one of

:13:35. > :13:39.the most popular players on tour. He will be taking on Murray later this

:13:40. > :13:48.afternoon. Now let's head back to Court Two.

:13:49. > :13:54.Babos and Shvedova still up a break in this set. It will be Yaroslava

:13:55. > :14:13.Shvedova to serve next. 2-1. Konta returned so well in the first

:14:14. > :14:18.set. Just struggling a little bit more in the second set, mostly due

:14:19. > :14:22.to the improved service by Babos and Shvedova. That is good serving.

:14:23. > :15:06.Excellent location there. Good leave from Babos. A rapid-fire

:15:07. > :15:15.service game. 3-1 in front in the second set. Shvedova and Babos

:15:16. > :15:21.looking a lot more relaxed than they were at the end of that first set.

:15:22. > :15:49.Smiles all round. And established partnership with lots of success.

:15:50. > :16:01.That is a good looking lob. Territory point! -- ter effect

:16:02. > :16:12.point. Maria Sanchez just was not able to

:16:13. > :16:19.get involved at the net and Babos just continues with her game, power

:16:20. > :16:32.ground strokes, momentum moving forward.

:16:33. > :16:39.You have got to put that first volley away if you are Maria Sanchez

:16:40. > :16:40.at the net. Jo Konta separate beautifully but there was not enough

:16:41. > :17:30.power on that one. Babos was running everywhere around

:17:31. > :17:36.the court and the ball seemed to arrive everywhere she found herself.

:17:37. > :17:41.How good was that for anticipation from Babos? All over this court, she

:17:42. > :18:02.is doing a great job of continually moving forward.

:18:03. > :18:52.This is being challenged. This one was close. Babos and Shvedova will

:18:53. > :19:10.be hoping... It was out. Nice work from Konta. She saw that

:19:11. > :19:17.Shvedova had shovelled to her right and was mid-court and there was a

:19:18. > :19:37.huge space to aim for her. Stayed down beautifully with that backhand.

:19:38. > :19:54.How did they lose that point? That is another break of serve. And the

:19:55. > :19:59.crowd are here to support Jo Konta have little to get excited about in

:20:00. > :20:08.this second set after the 6-4 first set scoreline. It is all a little

:20:09. > :20:17.quiet on the Konta Sanchez side. That is where we are, on sunken

:20:18. > :20:23.Court Two. The outside courts and various hospitality pavilions there.

:20:24. > :20:28.Centre Court with its enormous white roof, 16 metres above the grass.

:20:29. > :20:37.Number one Court will have a roof by 2019. And there is Henman Hill,

:20:38. > :20:42.several thousands of spectators, or Murray Mount as it should be known

:20:43. > :20:50.with Andy Murray in action later. A nice atmosphere in the afternoon

:20:51. > :20:56.sunshine. They are couple of hours early for their man, Andy Murray.

:20:57. > :21:12.Just getting a good seat, getting ready.

:21:13. > :21:15.Babos and Shvedova in complete control of the second set, serving

:21:16. > :21:36.Faure 5-1 lead. Shvedova trying to make things

:21:37. > :21:40.happen at the net. She did not know her partner Babos had got back in

:21:41. > :21:51.position and had a pretty routine forehand. That is way too good from

:21:52. > :21:56.Sanchez. The level has dropped off a little bit in the second set. Let's

:21:57. > :22:22.see if that return gives her a bit more confidence.

:22:23. > :22:37.An explosive forehand from Johanna Cotter. Three break back points. --

:22:38. > :22:42.Johanna Konta. Babos getting a little bit stroppy with one of the

:22:43. > :22:51.ball crew. She wants a particular ball returned to her.

:22:52. > :23:05.That is a nice serve. 114 mph, wide. She does not use that serve quite as

:23:06. > :23:15.effectively as she could so far in this match. Let's see if she can get

:23:16. > :23:22.a little bit more rhythm. That is more good serving from Babos. Two

:23:23. > :23:30.first serves in a row, really varying the speed. The first one,

:23:31. > :23:38.100 and 40 mph, that last one, 92 mph, but kicking out wide. Two break

:23:39. > :23:43.points saved in this game, four in total. Someone got that right

:23:44. > :24:06.between the eyes, I think. Too much power there from Babos for

:24:07. > :24:11.Sanchez to be able to handle. Maria Sanchez has got to try and find her

:24:12. > :24:33.way into the net. She is struggling at the back of the court right now.

:24:34. > :24:45.So, a good opportunity for Sanchez. Fourth break point of this game.

:24:46. > :24:47.Babos's serve is wavering slightly. And a second serve she will have to

:24:48. > :25:02.be absolutely certain of. Didn't quite give it enough height,

:25:03. > :25:09.Johanna Konta. That is a nice point from Babos. All the right things

:25:10. > :25:11.from Konta and Sanchez. Nice pick-up but they could not quite get it

:25:12. > :25:42.across enough. I am not sure why Babos would go

:25:43. > :25:46.back to Konta with both of them at the baseline. Konta more solid at

:25:47. > :26:02.the back of the court. A fifth opportunity to break.

:26:03. > :26:09.We are having to leave this match on BBC One. It continues on the red

:26:10. > :26:15.button for now because we will be heading over to Centre Court. A

:26:16. > :26:19.beautiful sunny day at Wimbledon. Finally those rain clouds have moved

:26:20. > :26:24.away and we are bathed in sunshine and that is where we are going to be

:26:25. > :26:29.focusing our attention, the world's most famous court, Centre Court. And

:26:30. > :26:49.first up is a man who calls this court home.

:26:50. > :26:57.I can't believe that! What a point! How many times do we say it?

:26:58. > :27:16.Federer. Just, what a player, really.

:27:17. > :27:21.This is the scene on Centre Court. So many people taking their seats

:27:22. > :27:26.early because the great man, Roger Federer, is on court, the seven time

:27:27. > :27:35.champion. He is bidding to equal Jimmy Connors' record of 11

:27:36. > :27:39.Wimbledon semifinals. It is Roger Federer against Marin Cilic. David

:27:40. > :27:45.Beckham has made his way and Andy Murray will be on court against

:27:46. > :27:49.Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. We are leaving BBC One for the one o'clock news but

:27:50. > :27:54.to keep you to date with all the Wimbledon News, can switch over now

:27:55. > :27:58.to BBC Two. These people don't have a ticket for the show courts but

:27:59. > :28:05.they are making their way to Henman Hill. That has become such a feature

:28:06. > :28:13.at Wimbledon. They will be enjoying watching the action unfold on the

:28:14. > :28:19.big screen. So Henman Hill is full and we are here on men's

:28:20. > :28:23.quarterfinals day. We have also got on Court Number One Sam Querrey

:28:24. > :28:29.against Milos Raonic, Tomas Berdych against Lucas Pouille. He is 23

:28:30. > :28:32.years old and in his first Grand Slam quarterfinal. We are stopping

:28:33. > :28:38.for the news but we will have all the tennis News for you over on BBC

:28:39. > :28:49.Two. And later on, you are going to hear a lot more of this. Goodbye.

:28:50. > :29:01.Come on, Andy. Come on, Andy. Come on, Andy.

:29:02. > :29:03.When you have got a guy like that, you follow him.
