:00:53. > :01:00.Now we're going to take you over to Wimbledon for a running commentary
:01:01. > :01:04.on the all English championships. Championship tennis played an
:01:05. > :01:18.absolutely crucial part in when colour was introduced.
:01:19. > :02:46.Well, we had to do something a bit special to celebrate 90 years of
:02:47. > :02:50.Wimbledon on the BBC. It is 80 years since BBC television coverage began
:02:51. > :02:54.and 30 years since Pat Cash won the singles title in that headband.
:02:55. > :02:58.After the drama of Andy Murray's late-night victory on Centre Court
:02:59. > :03:03.yesterday, we have a typical middle Saturday to look forward to today.
:03:04. > :03:07.Fascinating watchers from all over the All-England Club. There are up
:03:08. > :03:13.to six on the red button depending on your provider, and uninterrupted
:03:14. > :03:17.on the BBC sport app, website and connected TVs. It is another lovely
:03:18. > :03:21.day here and we have just made our way down to the members lawn which
:03:22. > :03:28.is rather nice. Mark Petchey is with me. Everyone is having a nice drink
:03:29. > :03:35.and a nice lunch. Worst spots to be! Shall we stay here for a bit? I saw
:03:36. > :03:39.that big job and I was keen. We all breathed a sigh of relief last night
:03:40. > :03:43.because that match did get rather tetchy at times. I thought it would
:03:44. > :03:59.be difficult. Having watched Flamini play
:04:00. > :04:03.a lot you feel the short punchy ground strokes he has, he generates
:04:04. > :04:06.a lot of power, and it is not always easy to get through him. You thought
:04:07. > :04:08.Andy Murray's serve would be tight -- having watched Fognini play. He
:04:09. > :04:14.played so well in the last few games. And the momentum was such a
:04:15. > :04:19.huge feature in or these matches. Look at that raw! We have seen that
:04:20. > :04:24.a few times over the years. There is some passion at that years of age.
:04:25. > :04:29.And everyone was jumping up out of their seats. He had to dig deep. Dig
:04:30. > :04:34.deep and play great tennis. It is not always about working hard, it is
:04:35. > :04:38.about playing well. His forehand looked good down the stretch.
:04:39. > :04:47.Mentally, it is the one thing Andy has over five B -- Fabio Fognini. He
:04:48. > :04:53.has been more fluctuating through the course of a match. He has had a
:04:54. > :04:58.wonderful career but Murray is just tougher. It is that fight that is
:04:59. > :05:02.the difference between the great champions and those below. It is the
:05:03. > :05:06.pricing, when you watch out here and we have watched him over the last
:05:07. > :05:09.decade, when I first met him there were a lot of people in Tennessee
:05:10. > :05:12.thought he was a bit soft. When I started working with him for the
:05:13. > :05:14.last ten months, a lot of people said they had watched him in June
:05:15. > :05:29.years and he did not have the inner fight at times. I was
:05:30. > :05:31.surprised to hear it because what I had witnessed at Queen's and
:05:32. > :05:33.Wimbledon that year was very different. And what I saw over the
:05:34. > :05:36.next year developed into what has become completely different from
:05:37. > :05:38.that opinion. He has got the very slow walk and he doesn't talk very
:05:39. > :05:42.quickly, he doesn't embrace the publicity side of it. I think Andy
:05:43. > :05:46.always had a plan in his own mind. He was in a hurry, but it wasn't the
:05:47. > :05:51.great Russian that some people perhaps felt he should have been. He
:05:52. > :05:55.obviously had the knee issue that he needed to look after early on in his
:05:56. > :05:59.career. He wanted to get his body in the best possible shape for the
:06:00. > :06:04.longevity of his career as well. I think there were people who perhaps
:06:05. > :06:07.underestimated his own tennis IQ and also his career IQ about where he
:06:08. > :06:20.wanted to take himself, because at the end of the day, he is the leader
:06:21. > :06:23.of whichever team is around him. He has grown. Now you interview him and
:06:24. > :06:26.his sense of humour and everything comes out. I guess you didn't see
:06:27. > :06:29.that at the start that he does have a dry sense of humour and it is best
:06:30. > :06:36.to take the Mickey out of him because he will give it back in
:06:37. > :06:40.heaps. And Lendl as well. You would not want to cross swords with both
:06:41. > :06:45.of them at the same time. It is probably why they get on so well.
:06:46. > :06:50.There were so many scenarios going on in our mind last night, will be
:06:51. > :06:55.be bad light? Will they have to close the roof? Will it be difficult
:06:56. > :06:59.for Murray? I guess Andy was not thinking about that. He was just
:07:00. > :07:05.thinking about the next point and staying in the present which is a
:07:06. > :07:08.huge skill at the end of the day. We have him chasing every single ball,
:07:09. > :07:13.points which were won on court and also in the gym as well, in terms of
:07:14. > :07:19.the pace and his first step around the court and his ability to return
:07:20. > :07:25.the ball. Not great pace on it but great depth. This was the one he
:07:26. > :07:28.challenged, he didn't have any challenges left! That is beautiful
:07:29. > :07:35.Fabio. When we look back at the postcards of his career, that will
:07:36. > :07:39.be what we remember. Why did he stop?! For the record, it was in
:07:40. > :07:43.anyway, he would not have won the point. We have learned so much about
:07:44. > :07:50.Andy and where he is. Everybody saying he has not had many matches
:07:51. > :07:53.on the grass, not a of matchplay and not much confidence, answered
:07:54. > :07:58.yesterday. I think he did in Paris as well. Andy is at that stage in
:07:59. > :08:04.his career, even if he has not had great weeks leading up to it, in a
:08:05. > :08:08.major it will elicit more from him. It was disappointing not to get more
:08:09. > :08:11.matches at Queen's but it was not the end of the world. The draw came
:08:12. > :08:16.out and it was favourable to allow himself to be fit enough to get
:08:17. > :08:20.through the first week. Fognini outhit him in Rome in terms of some
:08:21. > :08:25.considerable margin in terms of power. There was a danger that could
:08:26. > :08:30.happen yesterday. I was surprised how well Fognini played on grass, I
:08:31. > :08:36.did not expect that. The grass is lower. I talked to John Millman and
:08:37. > :08:40.he said he feels this is the slowest major in terms of the speed. It did
:08:41. > :08:45.not help against Rafa but it helps Rafa to some degree because the ball
:08:46. > :08:56.sits up that much higher. I think all of those types of players are
:08:57. > :08:58.dangerous on grass. Absolutely. We have some breaking news now. We have
:08:59. > :09:02.lost Boris Becker. He is apparently on his way to us. If anybody can see
:09:03. > :09:07.him in the grounds, can you tell him to come down to ask! He is by some
:09:08. > :09:11.white umbrellas but as you can see, there are quite a few white
:09:12. > :09:15.umbrellas here! Hopefully he will be here soon. I have seen him this
:09:16. > :09:17.morning so I know he is by some white umbrellas but as you can see,
:09:18. > :09:20.there are quite a few white umbrellas here! Hopefully he will be
:09:21. > :09:23.here soon. I have seen him this morning so I know he's here. Murray
:09:24. > :09:26.was very outspoken. There has been all sorts of talk about court 18 and
:09:27. > :09:31.the grass. Let's see what Andy had to say about Centre Court last
:09:32. > :09:37.night. The court, I don't think was in as good as condition as previous
:09:38. > :09:42.years. There were quite a few spots on the court, just behind the
:09:43. > :09:50.baseline and in front of the baseline where there are quite big
:09:51. > :09:55.lumps of grass, there which I den member really being the case. --
:09:56. > :09:59.which I don't remember being the case. I don't know if it is to do
:10:00. > :10:05.with the weather they have had over the last few weeks and months. It
:10:06. > :10:10.has been pretty hot, pretty extreme conditions, not much rain, so I
:10:11. > :10:20.don't know if that has affected it, you know. But the court, when I
:10:21. > :10:26.played the first match, was great, and I think it is just getting a bit
:10:27. > :10:31.beaten up. Well, we have had exceptional weather. We have had a
:10:32. > :10:39.very hot June. It is almost memories of 1976 and this will affect grass.
:10:40. > :10:42.It will affect grass. There was a lot of talk from players and they
:10:43. > :10:45.felt the grass was playing more differently in that regard. They
:10:46. > :10:51.shut the roof the other day to try and keep the son of fit and protect
:10:52. > :10:54.it a little bit more. Andy has been a father longer resident of Centre
:10:55. > :11:00.Court so he is well placed to qualify the comments he has made.
:11:01. > :11:04.Nadal felt it was the same, Federer I know feels it is pretty much the
:11:05. > :11:08.same. It is a difficult one to understand. Is there anything in the
:11:09. > :11:17.fact that the junior 's these days do not grow up playing on grass so
:11:18. > :11:24.the movement is different? It is a controlled slide on a clay court.
:11:25. > :11:32.You cannot do that on a grass court. Does it affect it? Someone who has
:11:33. > :11:38.just slipped in. We have found him! We sent an SOS saying has anyone
:11:39. > :11:44.seen Boris? I was in the players lounge. They do not allow us in
:11:45. > :11:48.there, only champions. Good to see you and Mark. We were just talking
:11:49. > :11:54.about the state of the courts but I would love to get your opinion on
:11:55. > :11:57.Murray and how impressed you were? I thought he officially entered
:11:58. > :12:03.Wimbledon. There was enough torque about the hip and physicality and
:12:04. > :12:11.whether he was fit enough. I think that has to be put aside. He was
:12:12. > :12:15.tested by an amazing unpredictable Fabio Fognini. The atmosphere
:12:16. > :12:19.reminded me a little bit of what is going to come. The atmosphere was
:12:20. > :12:23.electrifying. He really had to pull out his best tennis to come back
:12:24. > :12:30.because he did not want to play a set. Fabio was playing without
:12:31. > :12:34.anything to lose -- he did not want to play a fifth set. Tennis wise I
:12:35. > :12:42.thought the second set was poor. For him to come back and know how have
:12:43. > :12:47.two days off, I think he really entered Wimbledon 2017. Does a match
:12:48. > :12:53.like that test you mentally? Will it help? It will help a lot. He did not
:12:54. > :12:57.have the best of years. He had some heartbreaking losses. When you come
:12:58. > :13:01.back from something like this, it really lifts your spirits and
:13:02. > :13:06.confidence. He will have two days off so I am sure by Monday we will
:13:07. > :13:11.see a different Murray. OK, we will talk more. We have to look ahead to
:13:12. > :13:14.today. Wonderful matches on the show courts once again as we expect at
:13:15. > :13:30.Wimbledon on the middle Saturday. First it is Agnieszka Radwanska. And
:13:31. > :13:33.a revised Ernests Gulbis. And then Roger Federer up against the older
:13:34. > :13:53.brother of Sasha, Mischa Zverev. Dominic team, everyone talking about
:13:54. > :14:01.this young man. And on the outside courts. Look at the score between
:14:02. > :14:06.Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Sam Querrey. They are in the fifth and final set.
:14:07. > :14:12.Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has got to come out and serve to stay in the match.
:14:13. > :14:22.It was because of bad night last night.
:14:23. > :14:33.It seems a lot cooler than it has done during the week. Let's find out
:14:34. > :14:36.the weather with Ben Rich. It is a little bit cooler but the crowds are
:14:37. > :14:40.now gathering behind me on Henman Hill and the outfit of the day does
:14:41. > :14:45.seem to be shorts and I think they have made the right choice because
:14:46. > :14:48.the cloud has started to break up quite nicely. Through the day it
:14:49. > :14:54.will give us some spells sunshine. We will not get up to 30 or 31
:14:55. > :14:59.degrees as we have had over the last few days, but we will get something
:15:00. > :15:04.like 26. It will feel very humid I expect. There is a very small chance
:15:05. > :15:19.of catching a shower, less than 5%, so I think on balance we will be OK.
:15:20. > :15:21.It will be fine into the evening. Tomorrow, no play but it should be a
:15:22. > :15:24.decent day. Some showers later in the day. Next week there is a
:15:25. > :15:26.greater chance of showers. It will not be a complete wash-out. The good
:15:27. > :15:30.news for players and spectators alike, it should be a bit cooler.
:15:31. > :15:34.Thank you. The ground staff have been flooding the courts, they will
:15:35. > :15:40.really need that day off tomorrow. Before we look back to Jo Konta's
:15:41. > :15:42.match, that great win, it has been an incredible five days at
:15:43. > :15:56.Wimbledon. Clare Balding has the story so far.
:15:57. > :16:02.Week one at Wimbledon started with a flurry of questions. First of all
:16:03. > :16:06.were either Britain's number fit enough to play? In a wide-open
:16:07. > :16:11.winning's drawer, who would take the step forward onto to the big stage?
:16:12. > :16:16.And was it time for the new generation to finally make their
:16:17. > :16:21.mark? Or where the old boards still going strong? One week on we started
:16:22. > :16:29.to get our answers. It turns out that hip hip Murray, Andy's Cobblers
:16:30. > :16:37.just how he walks. Johanna Konta has also proved her fitness and she
:16:38. > :16:41.needed it in a marathon match against Donna Vekic. Even a feast of
:16:42. > :16:48.flying ants did not throw her off. The Brits look in rude health but
:16:49. > :16:57.players lacking fitness caused a bit of a stir. Controversial withdrawals
:16:58. > :17:03.facilitated -- facilitated Novak and Roger's early matches. Daniel-macro
:17:04. > :17:08.was not short of change and he threw it under the umpire's chair in
:17:09. > :17:17.objection to five over rules which went against him, but he ended up
:17:18. > :17:23.$14,500 poorer thanks to a hefty fine -- Daniil Medvedev. Bernard
:17:24. > :17:26.Tomic picked up a fine having called a medical time-out, not for a
:17:27. > :17:31.physical ailment but to find a doctor who could help him with his
:17:32. > :17:36.motivation. I am bored out there. The young guns are nearly ready but
:17:37. > :17:42.the old guard are not moving on just yet. Federer is doing his best
:17:43. > :17:52.Benjamin But an impression. He is certainly not toast yet. His old
:17:53. > :17:58.rival Rafa Nadal have come back to the grasp refreshed, scampering and
:17:59. > :18:03.scurrying his way back into our hearts. He even does his own
:18:04. > :18:08.supermarket shopping. Novak is on a quest for love and understanding.
:18:09. > :18:15.And the three-time champ is showing he is strong enough. For the women,
:18:16. > :18:19.anyone could win. The question is who believes? Petra Kvitova's fairy
:18:20. > :18:23.tale return was all too fleeting. And the Serena shaped hole in the
:18:24. > :18:29.draw is proving hard to fill. Baby talk is all the rage as Mandy
:18:30. > :18:34.Minella knocked up in round one, it was announced that she was 4.5
:18:35. > :18:38.months pregnant. And Victoria Azarenka's new son Leo has been
:18:39. > :18:45.watching her practice as she embarks on what she calls her second career.
:18:46. > :18:48.Now ranked 678, the former world number one had a battle royal
:18:49. > :18:54.against Heather Watson on Centre Court. Only one former champion is
:18:55. > :18:59.left fighting for the Venus rose water dish, and it is Venus herself.
:19:00. > :19:06.Troubled off the court by grief, could she find freedom on the court?
:19:07. > :19:10.Venus Williams marches on to round four. The bookies make it a
:19:11. > :19:15.wide-open market, but whisper it quietly, the top of their list and
:19:16. > :19:20.favourite is British. Could it be 40 years after Virginia Wade, we are
:19:21. > :19:27.all shouting, come on, Konta! Get ready to make a racket in week two.
:19:28. > :19:32.I am glad Clare whispered that because I am fearful of putting
:19:33. > :19:37.pressure on Jo Konta. She is one of the favourites to take it? She
:19:38. > :19:42.definitely is. Jo has been playing that kind of tennis for a couple of
:19:43. > :19:45.years. That is why she is installed as favourite because the quality of
:19:46. > :19:49.her tennis is world-class. She is very solid from the back of the
:19:50. > :19:53.court, she is well programmed in what she has to do and that takes
:19:54. > :20:00.some of the pressure off. It illegally it's the pressure when you
:20:01. > :20:04.have a good plan. Yesterday, she look good -- it illegally is the
:20:05. > :20:08.pressure. She had a good opponent she was expected to beat but she
:20:09. > :20:17.really kept the level of play. She did. The three hours must have
:20:18. > :20:21.affected her mentally and physically but we could not tell. Of course
:20:22. > :20:25.everybody asks and now, does she feel like the favourite? Of course
:20:26. > :20:29.she is playing in Wimbledon and she wants to win Wimbledon but she keeps
:20:30. > :20:36.it on the download. She goes about business. She is a very methodical
:20:37. > :20:43.fighter. She does what she is supposed to do. You were in the
:20:44. > :20:54.coach's corner. She is your girl. She played well. She played well.
:20:55. > :20:59.She is between coaches. You have to confuse the algorithm when you take
:21:00. > :21:05.on Jo. She is smart tactically. She served very differently against
:21:06. > :21:10.Donna Vekic. She is so tight to the line. Her accuracy is amazing. It is
:21:11. > :21:15.up there with one of the best serves in the world. It is not in Serena's
:21:16. > :21:20.class but it is not far behind it. Lets hear what Jo had to say after
:21:21. > :21:25.the match. Johanna, reflecting on your first
:21:26. > :21:30.week at Wimbledon, what is your report? I feel quite honestly very
:21:31. > :21:35.blessed that I got to play two matches on Court One and a great
:21:36. > :21:38.battle on Centre Court. I got to play on the two biggest stages in
:21:39. > :21:43.the world so I feel very humbled by that and also excited to have come
:21:44. > :21:47.through some very tough matches. I have given myself a chance to come
:21:48. > :21:50.back and play on Monday. It is your first time in the fourth round of
:21:51. > :21:55.Wimbledon, you have two clear days to get your head around things, how
:21:56. > :22:06.proud will you be walking back on Monday knowing there are only 15
:22:07. > :22:09.other women in the draw? I am here with the intention of making it a
:22:10. > :22:12.full two weeks. I am preparing the best I can, training the best I can
:22:13. > :22:15.and competing the best I can. How would you rate the competition ahead
:22:16. > :22:19.in the second week, starting with Caroline Garcia who is a young
:22:20. > :22:24.player, Andy Murray described her a couple of years ago as a future
:22:25. > :22:28.number one. Issued at good? She is a very good player and she is playing
:22:29. > :22:32.with a lot of confidence. She made the last eight in Paris. She is
:22:33. > :22:37.definitely playing well on the big stages. I looking forward to playing
:22:38. > :22:42.her. I have played her once so I am looking forward to another chance to
:22:43. > :22:52.play someone who is in good form and will challenge me.
:22:53. > :22:55.She is certainly a difficult player. We will do what we have done for
:22:56. > :22:58.Murray for years and years, we will plot Jo Konta's route to the final.
:22:59. > :23:01.We will have a look at the draw. Simona Halep at the bottom, she is
:23:02. > :23:07.the number two seed but unproven on grass. Look who is in the draw,
:23:08. > :23:12.Venus Williams. She is the only former champion left in the draw, a
:23:13. > :23:18.five-time winner. The only youngster is Ana Konjuh. After Panko won the
:23:19. > :23:22.French Open, I fancy her chances as well.
:23:23. > :23:43.-- Ostapenko won the French Open. Garcia will not be looking any
:23:44. > :23:48.further in the draw. That is our job. We all hated it when we were
:23:49. > :23:53.players but now we are doing it! You don't get to win this title or any
:23:54. > :23:56.major title with it being easy and you should also embrace the
:23:57. > :24:01.pressure. What a great opportunity it is for Jo and she is playing the
:24:02. > :24:06.tennis of her life but Garcia has got the personality to believe she
:24:07. > :24:11.can compete and play her best on the biggest stage. How about that
:24:12. > :24:15.experience with Venus being the only champion? No one really mentions her
:24:16. > :24:20.as being one of the favourites. She is a five-time champion and she did
:24:21. > :24:26.reach the Australian Open final a few months ago. I want to say that
:24:27. > :24:31.almost anybody can win it. It used to be Serena and then a big, big
:24:32. > :24:36.difference to the rest. Serena is pregnant and not playing, so anybody
:24:37. > :24:41.can get onto the run, including Jo Konta, can lift the trophy. That is
:24:42. > :24:44.the opportunity and that is what everybody should think about. Of
:24:45. > :24:50.course she will have to beat Garcia but deep down, it is another week to
:24:51. > :25:00.go to grab history. That is a good line. No one is talking about
:25:01. > :25:03.Ostapenko and yet talk about how slow these courts are. She has
:25:04. > :25:09.played not her best tennis and already at such a tender age she is
:25:10. > :25:13.able to win. She is able to play big and she takes the match out of your
:25:14. > :25:16.hands as she did so thrillingly at the French Open. I think we are
:25:17. > :25:22.talking about everyone, we are just unsure who to go with because we all
:25:23. > :25:29.look so bad as experts because everyone we picked on... I started
:25:30. > :25:34.with Kvitova and then Pliskova. We said two and now we are going up to
:25:35. > :25:39.six. I would have said the same names, Kvitova and Pliskova. I want
:25:40. > :25:44.to throw another name in, Ana Konjuh. Remember Ostapenko, no
:25:45. > :25:48.Wansbeck about her and she went on to win her very first title. Ana
:25:49. > :25:54.Konjuh, a strong woman, very talented, 19 years old. I am just
:25:55. > :25:58.saying. It could be another you, it could be another teenager lifting
:25:59. > :26:09.the trophy. Is that what you are saying?
:26:10. > :26:12.I don't think it is impossible. The way women's tennis is going you
:26:13. > :26:15.don't have clear-cut favourites any more which is a good thing. Every
:26:16. > :26:18.other week there is a new one coming. It is really anybody's game.
:26:19. > :26:23.Haven't the women's matches been incredible this week? Now we are
:26:24. > :26:26.moving on to the men's. Novak Djokovic has a new Wimbledon
:26:27. > :26:29.champion by his side, it is Andre Agassi. Jonathan has been talking to
:26:30. > :27:15.him. It is like yesterday but a lifetime
:27:16. > :27:18.ago. It is so strange. It is like kids, you see a baby and you
:27:19. > :27:28.remember everything you went through but you think wow, that was a long
:27:29. > :27:30.time ago. I get to take it in now from a whole different perspective.
:27:31. > :27:34.It is funny to have the context of the full experience. I bet you never
:27:35. > :27:40.thought with your long hair and your baseball cap that you would be back
:27:41. > :27:47.as a coach? It is fair enough, I don't -- you never know where life
:27:48. > :27:55.is going to take you! I don't know if I would call it coaching. It is
:27:56. > :27:59.not about full-time, it is not about teaching him how to win but we have
:28:00. > :28:04.seen it enough times. It is about finding the parts which help him
:28:05. > :28:11.feel clear so he is able to execute his best game and with conviction.
:28:12. > :28:16.He is a good coach in that respect. What is the one thing, if there is
:28:17. > :28:23.one thing that you are trying to get him to do? Clarity and fight. To
:28:24. > :28:30.believe that good things are ahead, that you are going to get better
:28:31. > :28:34.every day. If we fight and we start thinking about the other side of the
:28:35. > :28:41.Court a bit more. There is a human over there that have to beat you. To
:28:42. > :28:46.know what I mean? That is what I like to with Novak. I like to see
:28:47. > :28:51.when he is out there feeling clear, he is remarkable. And he has Murray
:28:52. > :28:56.as a rival for the title, Nadal and Roger Federer as well. In the year
:28:57. > :29:01.of your last Grand Slam title, he won his first, 2003. Can you believe
:29:02. > :29:06.that here he is 14 years later coming in as many people's
:29:07. > :29:11.favourite? No question about it. Roger, what he's doing is quite
:29:12. > :29:14.frankly unexplainable! I have stopped predicting him because I
:29:15. > :29:23.have been wrong so many times. It does not surprise me any more but
:29:24. > :29:25.constantly amazes me. It is great for the game to see these guys going
:29:26. > :29:28.after each other. Hopefully we will see it this fortnight when we have
:29:29. > :29:34.those guys pushing at the end. Talking of Roger Federer, I have a
:29:35. > :29:38.confession to make. I said he had won 17 Grand Slams. I have been
:29:39. > :29:44.saying it for so many years. I got told off and I severely told myself.
:29:45. > :29:53.I had interviewed him about his 18th, what is wrong with me?!
:29:54. > :30:04.A winner's mentality. Andre is a winner and proven champion. I think
:30:05. > :30:10.it is responsibility on Novak's side not to let his man down. Andre knows
:30:11. > :30:15.what it takes, he understands the nuances between winning and losing.
:30:16. > :30:20.Once you are in a semifinal, he is not going to be happy, my job is
:30:21. > :30:25.done, Andre wants to win. That clarity of thought. He said clarity
:30:26. > :30:29.and fight. He is only satisfied when you hold the trophy up and that
:30:30. > :30:35.comes with bringing Andre Agassi on board. Going back to what Andre was
:30:36. > :30:40.saying about the edge and clarity of thought, why is that important? If
:30:41. > :30:45.you look at Roger and Novak's career, in terms of total career
:30:46. > :30:50.points won, and we think our dominant they have been, they have
:30:51. > :30:57.won 54% only of the total points played in tennis. If you look at
:30:58. > :31:02.Roger's best year, statistically in 2006, when he made 16 out of 17
:31:03. > :31:09.tournament finals on Novak, 2015 when he swept the board. They won
:31:10. > :31:14.56% of points only. You talk about the edge, it is wafer thin at times.
:31:15. > :31:19.The big difference with Novak in the last 12 months, maybe not serving as
:31:20. > :31:24.accurately, but it is winning big points, and when it goes, even for
:31:25. > :31:28.top players, the losses start racking up. He has look good, but he
:31:29. > :31:34.look good at the French Open and then had a match that came out of
:31:35. > :31:38.nowhere. Suddenly he threw in a really bad match. The problem with
:31:39. > :31:43.coming back to number one, is the weeks and months of repetitive
:31:44. > :31:48.tennis at matches. It does not happen overnight. Something happened
:31:49. > :31:54.when he kicked out the old coaching staff after Monte Carlo. He called
:31:55. > :31:59.it a shock therapy. He started to play better in Madrid and Rome. It
:32:00. > :32:04.is adding pieces to the puzzle. I don't think emotionally at the
:32:05. > :32:08.French Open he was ready. He looked good in the first two matches, so he
:32:09. > :32:14.is starting to look like a champion again. He is on one of the
:32:15. > :32:21.championship courts, with Mario Ancic, one of his two coaches. It
:32:22. > :32:25.reminds me of Andy Murray, he has Lendl, former champion, and good
:32:26. > :32:31.friend Jamie Delgado. Mario knows a lot about tennis, as well. It is a
:32:32. > :32:37.great balance. If you know Mario, he is a wonderful person, intellectual.
:32:38. > :32:43.He has diverted into a different career but follows the game, and he
:32:44. > :32:48.knows Novak well. There is more to coaching them hitting forehands and
:32:49. > :32:54.backhand Pele. It is about finding balance which is the most important
:32:55. > :33:03.thing for Novak right now -- and the backhands. Ernests Gulbis is playing
:33:04. > :33:09.well. He comes from nowhere. Ranked at 18. A tricky opponent for Novak
:33:10. > :33:14.Djokovic. A big serve and forehand. He will be on Centre Court later.
:33:15. > :33:18.Those lucky enough to have a ticket for Centre Court can look forward to
:33:19. > :33:25.seeing Djokovic and Roger Federer. So much talk about the men's top
:33:26. > :33:29.five. All over the age of 30. 51 of the last 54 Grand Slam singles
:33:30. > :33:36.titles have been won by Djokovic, Nadal, Murray, Federer or the
:33:37. > :33:42.drinker. What can the Next Generation do to challenge the old
:33:43. > :33:47.order -- and Stan Wawrinka. We have been in an era of the last almost
:33:48. > :33:53.ten years with an incredible dominance. This has never happened
:33:54. > :34:00.in the past. Four guys winning almost all the Grand Slams. How can
:34:01. > :34:05.someone sneaking? Impossible? These champions, when they play young
:34:06. > :34:09.players, they are very careful not to give them one chance, not to let
:34:10. > :34:16.them hope they can go through. The top four are just too good. They try
:34:17. > :34:21.everything to keep us down. If you want to win a slam you have to beat
:34:22. > :34:27.at least two of them. I had it in Paris. The Djokovic, in a good
:34:28. > :34:34.match. Two days later I had to play Nadal, so that is very tough. The
:34:35. > :34:39.first time you play someone like Roger or Rafa, it is scary, you do
:34:40. > :34:45.not know what will happen, if you will lose 6-1, 6-1, something like
:34:46. > :34:52.that. What they have done in tennis history is amazing. The first time
:34:53. > :34:57.you play someone like them, it is intimidating. This generation we
:34:58. > :35:02.have has probably a better chance to win Grand Slams because the old
:35:03. > :35:10.generation is getting old! I have to say also that we can see two players
:35:11. > :35:15.that have the skills to win Grand Slams. Clearly I am thinking about
:35:16. > :35:21.Zverev and Dominic Thiem. Those two have skills to win a slam.
:35:22. > :35:26.The next gen, younger guys coming up, they can do damage. It can start
:35:27. > :35:34.any time, maybe this year at Wimbledon.
:35:35. > :35:39.In the past, when you had two big weapons, like a big serve and
:35:40. > :35:43.forehand, you were able to get easy points and win big titles without
:35:44. > :35:48.being a complete player. Boris Becker is the first to comes to my
:35:49. > :35:54.mind at Wimbledon. After that it took him many years to have a
:35:55. > :35:58.complete game. COMMENTATOR: The young man, the first unseeded player
:35:59. > :36:04.to win the championship. Tennis has changed in the last ten,
:36:05. > :36:08.15 years. It takes a lot of years to build your physical and to be able
:36:09. > :36:14.to play long matches and rallies and be able to win a slam. We have to
:36:15. > :36:19.accept that. We have to look at them progressing and slowly but surely,
:36:20. > :36:24.be excited to see the parts of the puzzle get in place for them to be
:36:25. > :36:29.champions and still the Rafas, Rogers, Novaks and Murrays are here
:36:30. > :36:37.still so the young ones have to wait. Dominic Thiem and Sascha
:36:38. > :36:44.Zverev, so much expected of them. Sasha is 20, Dominic Thiem 23. They
:36:45. > :36:48.are heading to the top. Four career titles to eight career titles. It is
:36:49. > :36:52.hard to break through in this era, because as we saw with Rafa Roger,
:36:53. > :36:57.they take time off and come back better than ever.
:36:58. > :37:05.It was tough in any era. To get through McEnroes, Lendls, Jimmy
:37:06. > :37:11.Connors, was difficult. It is always difficult for young ones to come
:37:12. > :37:13.through and Patrick is right. The older generation are really
:37:14. > :37:20.protecting, because they keep coming back. Who would have thought last
:37:21. > :37:25.year, Rafa injured, Roger injuring himself in the semifinal, for them
:37:26. > :37:29.to be dominating this year, a year old, that is the thing now, you have
:37:30. > :37:35.the older legends who have changed the game and the young challenging
:37:36. > :37:39.for the position. It makes for great matches. Dominic Thiem has been a
:37:40. > :37:44.semifinalist in a Grand Slam at the French Open. A beautiful player. He
:37:45. > :37:50.is, but the harsh reality is they are not as good as the top players.
:37:51. > :37:55.They have improvements to make. Why have Roger and Rafa dominated? Roger
:37:56. > :37:58.is hitting over it more, particularly on the return, not
:37:59. > :38:03.slicing, and Rafa was a better player at the French Open with his
:38:04. > :38:06.forehand this year than he has been in previous nine Grand Slams,
:38:07. > :38:11.statistically, so they have to improve their game to beat them. It
:38:12. > :38:17.is not just hard work. Dominic Thiem has a wonderful game. He has. He
:38:18. > :38:23.knocked out Djokovic in the court is fair and square and is knocking at
:38:24. > :38:29.the door the loudest. Sascha Zverev, winning four titles, three titles
:38:30. > :38:33.already this year, he is also there. Why wait for next year if you can
:38:34. > :38:41.win this year? It is not about how old you are, but how and if you are
:38:42. > :38:45.in the quarterfinal, 20 or 35, you want to win. Sascha Zverev has the
:38:46. > :38:49.arrogance and confidence to be a champion. He has the personality and
:38:50. > :38:57.game I believe that he will do it. It is a process. He has so much
:38:58. > :39:02.game, but his serve, for his height, is not as accurate as he needs and I
:39:03. > :39:05.remember when Andy played Federer in Bangkok the first time, he was
:39:06. > :39:10.surprised he did not feel Roger hit the ball that hard, but Andy became
:39:11. > :39:14.a better player, not just through hard work, but a better player on
:39:15. > :39:20.his forehand side particularly to stop beating Roger. This is what the
:39:21. > :39:25.Next Generation have got to come. When I say arrogance, I mean it as a
:39:26. > :39:32.compliment. You need to have self belief. It is a lonely place. You
:39:33. > :39:36.are playing Andy Murray. You have to believe in yourself. Arrogance is
:39:37. > :39:41.important up to a level. Patrick saying it took you a while to be a
:39:42. > :39:48.complete player, do you agree? That is not completely wrong. He made a
:39:49. > :39:56.point, because I did become a better player in 1988, because I had a weak
:39:57. > :40:02.backhand. I had weak footwork. Players were exposing my weakness,
:40:03. > :40:07.which was my backhand. I have to say he is right! We have Grigor Dimitrov
:40:08. > :40:14.against Dudi Sela at 11:30am. That is starting. Grigor Dimitrov makes
:40:15. > :40:21.the game looks so easy. Just enjoy this, because he has so many shots
:40:22. > :40:28.in his armoury. Cool as you like, just behind the back. Brilliant.
:40:29. > :40:33.And then the match point. If you are going to win a match in style, this
:40:34. > :40:39.is the way to do it and Boris, you will be impressed with this dive.
:40:40. > :40:42.Again, a lot of sympathy points in my corner for winning the way he
:40:43. > :40:46.ought to be winning by diving to the match point.
:40:47. > :40:52.LAUGHTER We talk about young players.
:40:53. > :40:57.He is one of the young ones and when we talk about the over 30s, he is
:40:58. > :41:03.another who could make... We have talked about him many years. He has
:41:04. > :41:08.had fluctuations and not being consistent as the top guys, but if
:41:09. > :41:11.you watch the match with Rafa down under, this year, it was some
:41:12. > :41:17.contest and if he produces that tennis on the grass, he is a
:41:18. > :41:22.contender. He looked good in the opening matches. Playing Sela, who
:41:23. > :41:27.defeated John Isner in his last match. We will show you match point.
:41:28. > :41:32.He is a good player but John Isner is so difficult to be with that huge
:41:33. > :41:37.serve. I would like to see them shake hands at the end, you get the
:41:38. > :41:43.impression of what Dudi Sela has achieved. I love the commentator at
:41:44. > :41:52.the end, David beats Goliath. Five foot nine Dudi Sela against six foot
:41:53. > :41:58.ten John Isner. The little 'un won. A character. Absolutely had the
:41:59. > :42:02.crowd on his feet -- their feet. To win a match like that against John
:42:03. > :42:07.on grass courts, phenomenal. Disappointed for John at the same
:42:08. > :42:13.time, but good to see the serve has not dominated the landscape
:42:14. > :42:25.completely. Dimitrov, Sela? I like Grigor Dimitrov's chances. He has
:42:26. > :42:29.many weapons. Shot selection is key. With John Isner, you do not touch
:42:30. > :42:35.the return, 25 minutes. I like Grigor Dimitrov's chances. We have
:42:36. > :42:40.shown you where the members' lawn is, Boris. We found it! We are
:42:41. > :42:48.heading to Court Number 3. In the commentary box, John Lloyd.
:42:49. > :42:58.A great start from Sela. Had the ridiculous height difference with
:42:59. > :43:11.John Isner. A little bit closer to Dimitrov. How do you think the
:43:12. > :43:14.Israeli will approach this? He has had two Goodwins, particularly
:43:15. > :43:19.against John Isner, so he is confident. I always think he is a
:43:20. > :43:39.tidy player, Dudi Sela, not any big weapon.
:43:40. > :43:51.He is a real grinder. He moves well, gets a lot of balls back. First
:43:52. > :43:57.serve is not big, he will not serve to many aces, but he places it well,
:43:58. > :44:03.and he will run all day long, if necessary. That is the ace I said he
:44:04. > :44:07.would not serve, and he did! The commentator's curse. Interesting to
:44:08. > :44:11.say about his opponent, the win against Marcel Granollers in the
:44:12. > :44:18.first round where he said he mixed up the spins and got his opponent
:44:19. > :44:22.out of rhythm. Is that what he will look to do against Dimitrov? I think
:44:23. > :44:28.he will. He knows that Dimitrov will come at him and has big weapons. But
:44:29. > :44:33.it is a great court, look at this. It used to be the home of the old
:44:34. > :44:38.Court Number Two, the graveyard court. All of the seeds would quake
:44:39. > :44:39.at night when they knew they had a match on the old Court Number Two,
:44:40. > :44:55.but not any more. A lot of the spectators have been
:44:56. > :44:56.queueing for a fair while. They were doing a Mexican wave before the
:44:57. > :45:42.players came out. He has been serving well in the
:45:43. > :45:58.championship so far. He has still to drop a set, Dimitrov.
:45:59. > :46:06.The first point against serve. I am guessing for Dimitrov, he will look
:46:07. > :46:13.to get forward as much as possible. I think so. He has so much power in
:46:14. > :46:27.his game. His big first serve, it sets him up well. A good 1- -- 1-2
:46:28. > :47:16.strike player. Both players holding serve comfortably.
:47:17. > :47:25.That is aggressive from Sela. The forehand early.
:47:26. > :47:46.A lot of support against John Isner, his coaching team.
:47:47. > :48:00.That is too good. Dudi Sela really getting pushed back deep. You can
:48:01. > :48:03.see how deep he is, he will have to be careful, standing that far back.
:48:04. > :49:40.He opens himself up for angles. Fantastic overhead. That really is.
:49:41. > :49:43.That ball seemed to hang in the air about half an hour. He had a lot of
:49:44. > :49:56.time to think. Very good approach. He comes in. This is the one that
:49:57. > :50:27.seemed to hang. Well done. He snapped that away.
:50:28. > :50:34.He is so compact. The way he plays. As I said before, he is tidy. He
:50:35. > :50:40.works the point around so well and it was not an easy volley. Right by
:50:41. > :50:44.the service line. To drop that short... On break point down. It was
:50:45. > :51:22.an excellent volley. This is the side he struggled
:51:23. > :51:28.without Queen's, the backhand side, but not at that height. It was the
:51:29. > :51:30.high backhands that caused him problems, but from that height, no
:51:31. > :51:49.problem. Beautiful shot. It is an early break for the 13
:51:50. > :51:57.seed. A good start for the Bulgarian.
:51:58. > :52:06.Dimitrov was a junior Wimbledon winner, one of three left in the
:52:07. > :52:11.draw, along with Gael Monfils and Federer. What have you made of his
:52:12. > :52:15.career? He got to world number eight, a couple of semifinals in
:52:16. > :52:21.Grand Slams but initially, a lot of people talked about him possibly
:52:22. > :52:25.being one another one. Baby Federer and all of that, which I think he
:52:26. > :52:31.felt difficult to deal with for a while. For a while, all of the talk
:52:32. > :52:36.was, when will he win his first Grand Slam, and how many? Now he is
:52:37. > :52:41.in a position where people do not talk about him as much and I think
:52:42. > :52:46.he almost enjoys that. There are enough top guys who can worry about
:52:47. > :52:51.that. He is almost sneaking through a little and I think he is now
:52:52. > :52:56.thinking he is ready. Before his game break down at crucial stages.
:52:57. > :53:00.Plus, he is in a good era, it is not as if he lost to people who were not
:53:01. > :53:05.good. I think it could have done better. I think mentally he was not
:53:06. > :53:21.ready in his own mind, but I think he thinks now he is set.
:53:22. > :53:28.Dimitrov's coach. He used to work with Andy Murray.
:53:29. > :53:40.A very good start this year with his new client. Just talking about
:53:41. > :53:44.winning a slam, you feel the window of opportunity is getting greater as
:53:45. > :53:48.the likes of Djokovic and Federer and Dahl get older. Exactly. --
:53:49. > :54:18.Nadal get older. At least for Sela, he will have a
:54:19. > :54:23.few more rallies in this match than against John Isner. You have to
:54:24. > :54:26.wonder about fatigue, after two long matches. He said he was tired after
:54:27. > :54:36.the first match against Marcel Granollers. And then a four hours
:54:37. > :55:16.marathon with John Isner in the previous round.
:55:17. > :55:39.It has been a positive start from Dimitrov, who backs up the early
:55:40. > :55:45.break. Everything looking pretty comfortable for him at the moment.
:55:46. > :55:50.It looks like there is not a lot, at the moment Dudi Sela does not have
:55:51. > :55:53.the power and pace to Hertz Dimitrov. Dimitrov looks like he is
:55:54. > :56:00.in control and can manoeuvre the ball around when he wants to. Dudi
:56:01. > :56:05.Sela is a fighter. He will stay out there as long as possible and get
:56:06. > :56:06.balls back and if Dimitrov loses concentration a little bit, he will
:56:07. > :56:24.be there. You feel at the moment he is unable
:56:25. > :56:30.to get the ball to the backhand side of Dimitrov. Being dictated by the
:56:31. > :57:04.Bulgarian off the forehand. Oh, how hard did he hit that
:57:05. > :57:08.forehand? This is a good backhand. Look how deep he is. A clean winner
:57:09. > :57:26.from that position. That is powerful. Fantastic forehand.
:57:27. > :57:40.Oh, wow. He can do no wrong right now. He is so quick. Look how far he
:57:41. > :57:43.was past the baseline. Good preparation. He had the racket
:57:44. > :58:14.ready. Just guided it down the line. Oh, yes. Right now, it has got to be
:58:15. > :58:43.that good to win a point from Dimitrov! Fantastic forehand.
:58:44. > :58:52.Well, a double fault hands Dimitrov another break. And he is in control
:58:53. > :58:58.of the opening set. SUE BARKER: Very much one-way
:58:59. > :59:02.traffic on Court Number 3. We will be back with that match. We will
:59:03. > :59:09.tell you what is happening on Court Number Two. The former French Open
:59:10. > :59:20.champion has a break of serve. The 14th seed up against Cyrano Sir
:59:21. > :59:22.Steer -- Cirstea. We will keep you up-to-date with that one, but back
:59:23. > :59:34.we go to Court Number 3. It will be tough for him today,
:59:35. > :59:43.John. Two five set matches back-to-back. It is very tough for
:59:44. > :59:49.him. He looks tired already. He does not seem to have enough weapons to
:59:50. > :59:54.hurt Dimitrov, who looks in stunning form and very sharp from the
:59:55. > :59:58.beginning. He needs to get into backhand against backhand duels
:59:59. > :00:04.because that is his best shot, but at the moment, Dimitrov is opening
:00:05. > :00:17.up with the forehand. He has a nice variation with the backhand, John.
:00:18. > :01:03.So Dimitrov bossing the first set so far, up a couple of breaks already.
:01:04. > :01:12.A little shot from Sela and allowing Dimitrov to control the point.
:01:13. > :01:16.Anything he can do to stem the tide at the moment? I think he will have
:01:17. > :01:21.to get a little bit closer to the baseline and try and take some time
:01:22. > :01:23.away from Dimitrov at the moment. He is giving Dimitrov too much time to
:01:24. > :01:49.work these rallies around. Dimitrov is in that habit of running
:01:50. > :01:53.round the forehand so well the backhand side of the court, there is
:01:54. > :01:55.little opening now and again for Sela to go down the line if he gets
:01:56. > :02:19.the chance. He could just do that! Exactly,
:02:20. > :02:26.why's it so difficult?! See how early he took that. I'm not saying a
:02:27. > :02:35.chip in charge, but stay closer in the baseline wants the rally starts.
:02:36. > :02:47.Too good. Frustration for Sela who played one read a good point.
:02:48. > :02:54.The 13th seed is one game away from taking the opening set. A change of
:02:55. > :02:59.racket for Dimitrov which is quite interesting. A change of balls will
:03:00. > :03:05.be after the next game. Maybe this is his close for the set. Maybe he
:03:06. > :03:07.thinks he is not playing that well, only up to 5-1. Did not like that
:03:08. > :03:36.racket! Dudi Sela gives him the thumbs up
:03:37. > :03:40.there as if to say, that was a pretty good shot, mate! Look at
:03:41. > :04:15.this. You can understand that error from
:04:16. > :04:29.Sela. The last point he played was excellent and yet still lost it.
:04:30. > :04:38.Sela looks like he doesn't quite know what has hit him. He is caught
:04:39. > :04:43.between a rock and a hard place right now. He has just missed that
:04:44. > :04:49.and he has challenged it. Judging by the shake of the head it is more in
:04:50. > :04:54.hope than belief. There you go, it is long. It will be three set points
:04:55. > :05:04.for Grigor Dimitrov. A bit of a slip there. There have
:05:05. > :05:39.been a few more slips on the courts this week than usual.
:05:40. > :05:50.That is a lightning quick set of tennis. Grigor Dimitrov playing some
:05:51. > :05:56.stunning stuff on Court Three and he has taken the opener in just 23
:05:57. > :06:04.minutes, by six games to one. I think he just called for the trainer
:06:05. > :06:08.there, Dudi Sela, as well. I think I heard him say that so we will see. I
:06:09. > :06:15.think he has some problems in the upper thigh. He has some problems
:06:16. > :06:22.against the opponent he is playing! Have we started the match? That was
:06:23. > :06:32.so quick. UMPIRE: Ladies and gentlemen, the
:06:33. > :06:36.physio has been called to court. He got battered in that set. I think he
:06:37. > :06:43.will have to take more chances and move up because he cannot stay with
:06:44. > :06:46.him on the baseline. The forehand of Dimitrov is just carving him up at
:06:47. > :06:53.the moment. I do think he will have to go down to the line on Dimitrov
:06:54. > :06:54.and take some risks and get him out of court a bit because at the moment
:06:55. > :07:08.it is just one way traffic. This set was amazing for Dimitrov.
:07:09. > :07:12.It was so easy for him. Not many errors from either player. The
:07:13. > :07:18.problem with Sela, on his first serve, he is only winning 46% of the
:07:19. > :07:23.points and only 33% on the second serve, whereas Dimitrov is 89% and
:07:24. > :07:28.80%, so he is complete domination at the moment so this is one way
:07:29. > :07:33.traffic. Sela, you see this match and you have to admire his career.
:07:34. > :07:38.He gets no cheap points on his serve. He have to grind out every
:07:39. > :07:42.point. It is tough and he has had two amazing wins in this tournament
:07:43. > :07:47.already, but I cannot see how it will happen today. It does not seem
:07:48. > :07:53.possible. I get that how he will turn around the match. It is not his
:07:54. > :08:06.game style. But you have to walk on court with a plan B and a plan C.
:08:07. > :08:09.You have to try something otherwise all it is is staying out on the
:08:10. > :08:11.court and waiting for the inevitable. The other warriors he
:08:12. > :08:19.has one two out of six net points. He is getting no joy. This is the
:08:20. > :08:23.problem with this system we have. You have so many courts and you call
:08:24. > :08:26.for the trainer but it takes five minutes sometimes for the trainer to
:08:27. > :08:32.get here and then you have to start all the other stuff and it goes on
:08:33. > :08:36.too long. I don't know a way out of it other than don't allow trainers
:08:37. > :08:41.on the court. This stuff about having ten minutes between points,
:08:42. > :08:47.which it sometimes works out to be that long, it is just not right. It
:08:48. > :08:53.is not right for the opponent, the player who is injured, the
:08:54. > :08:58.spectators, everybody. On that, what will Dimitrov be thinking right now,
:08:59. > :09:02.if it is a ten minute gap? Here comes the trainer now. Dimitrov is
:09:03. > :09:08.just thinking concentration, keep his mind on the job and keep focus.
:09:09. > :09:13.The only thing you can look at and the only way he can lose is if he
:09:14. > :09:18.loses concentration and get sloppy. It looks like some sort of thigh
:09:19. > :09:25.injury. That has been a lot of wear and tear on the body for Sela. It is
:09:26. > :09:29.tough on grass courts as well. He was on a seven match winning run
:09:30. > :09:34.coming into Wimbledon, two five set matches as well, and on grass it is
:09:35. > :09:56.tough on the legs in particular? It is a lot of tennis for him.
:09:57. > :10:06.WHISLTES. He should have put a towel around him to stop that! A change of
:10:07. > :10:11.shirt for the Bulgarian. Look at that. He plays three or four of
:10:12. > :10:15.those shots when you go, really? Is that possible? Just like Federer.
:10:16. > :10:21.People used to say when you watch Federer, isn't it boring because he
:10:22. > :10:26.wins so easily and you say no, because there will always be shots
:10:27. > :10:32.like that, like Dimitrov just played which are ridiculous. He had a
:10:33. > :10:42.backhand grip for that for what the lush -- he had a backhand grip for
:10:43. > :10:47.that forehand. It is an off court medical time-out. I know when there
:10:48. > :10:52.is rain, for players who are waiting to come on and play matches, they
:10:53. > :10:57.often say they will play cards and do things to take their brain of
:10:58. > :11:01.tennis. If it is going to be a long gap here, to keep yourself fully
:11:02. > :11:06.focused and concentrated for seven or eight minutes as Dimitrov might,
:11:07. > :11:11.it is quite tiring. I think it is. He is going to have a few minutes
:11:12. > :11:15.now, just relax and do think about it too much. As the clock gets
:11:16. > :11:20.closer, just start refocusing again on the job. He is playing so well
:11:21. > :11:26.right now. The only thing that could hurt him is this disruption. Just a
:11:27. > :11:31.reminder he got through to the semifinals once before at Wimbledon.
:11:32. > :11:41.That was in 2014. He beat Andy Murray in three sets. He has only
:11:42. > :11:46.once got past the third round. SUE BARKER: Well, we are coming to
:11:47. > :11:50.the end of our transmission here on BBC Two. We will be back at one
:11:51. > :11:53.o'clock. If you want to continue watching this match, we will be over
:11:54. > :11:59.on BBC One in a couple of minutes. While they are off court, we will
:12:00. > :12:04.take this opportunity to show you what is happening over on Court
:12:05. > :12:09.Number Two with Garbine Muguruza. She has a game built for grass. A
:12:10. > :12:14.former finalist here and French Open champion and she is flying in this
:12:15. > :12:21.first match against a tricky opponent, Sorana Cirstea. She is
:12:22. > :12:23.serving for the first set. Over on Court number 12, Svetlana
:12:24. > :12:36.Kuznetsova, the seventh seed. It is an serve in the third set but
:12:37. > :12:40.you can never count out that Lana Kuznetsova. That matches on the red
:12:41. > :12:45.button and the BBC website. We have more to look forward to later today
:12:46. > :12:49.with Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer on Centre Court. If you want
:12:50. > :12:56.to carry on watching the match with Dimitrov and Sela it will be on BBC
:12:57. > :13:01.One in a couple of minutes. From all of us at Wimbledon, goodbye.
