0:01:10 > 0:01:16champion!She has taken the first biathlon gold.A moment that will be

0:01:16 > 0:01:21historically remembered by all in attendance. The hosts have struck

0:01:21 > 0:01:27gold!

0:01:27 > 0:01:27gold! All three of

0:01:27 > 0:01:29attendance.The hosts have struck gold! All three of them are out now!

0:01:29 > 0:01:33This is great skating from Elyse Christie. She safely through to the

0:01:33 > 0:01:37quarterfinals.

0:01:40 > 0:01:44Good afternoon and welcome to continued coverage from Pyeongchang.

0:01:44 > 0:01:48It has been so windy that in the early hours of the morning UK time

0:01:48 > 0:01:51they had to postpone the men's downhill which will now take place

0:01:51 > 0:01:57on Thursday. And they had to cancel qualifying for the women's

0:01:57 > 0:01:59slopestyle which means Aimee Fuller and the rest of them will go

0:01:59 > 0:02:03straight through to the final. They'll just have two runs and

0:02:03 > 0:02:09hopefully do enough to win a medal. It is now night-time in South Korea,

0:02:09 > 0:02:15it's 9:30pm. Still lots of live sport. We'll have women's moguls,

0:02:15 > 0:02:23luge and ice hockey. Chemmy Alcott is with us. She skied in four

0:02:23 > 0:02:28Olympic Games. And Amy Williams, who won gold in skeleton in 2010 are my

0:02:28 > 0:02:32guests. We've had lots that we want to reflect on, what's coming up as

0:02:32 > 0:02:40well. Don't you love it?The drama comedy emotions. Someone does their

0:02:40 > 0:02:44best, someone is disappointed, it's all over the place.It's so

0:02:44 > 0:02:47spectacular to watch all of these athletes at the top of their game in

0:02:47 > 0:02:52the form of their life just giving it their all.Let's take a look and

0:02:52 > 0:02:58see what we've got in store for you on BBC One. As mentioned, various

0:02:58 > 0:03:04things have delayed events but it is all set fair for the bumps of the

0:03:04 > 0:03:08women's moguls. They'll be coming down with their tricks and flips and

0:03:08 > 0:03:12bending their knees and flying through those moguls. It's a

0:03:12 > 0:03:17combination of judged and timed events. It's all about time in the

0:03:17 > 0:03:22men's luge. Felix Loch will go last in the final run as he tries to win

0:03:22 > 0:03:26a third gold medal. In the women's ice hockey, Canada are against the

0:03:26 > 0:03:31Olympic of Russia. It's going to be tense, it's going to be aggressive

0:03:31 > 0:03:38and fast and only for the fearless. A nice combination of different

0:03:38 > 0:03:46sorts of sport. Lots of questions about winter sports coming in for

0:03:46 > 0:03:51Ross. The person I want to talk about first is 17-year-old Red

0:03:51 > 0:03:56Gerrard. He did not win a medal on the first day of competition, that

0:03:56 > 0:04:00hasn't happened since 1998 but this was him putting on the show of his

0:04:00 > 0:04:05life. Chemmy, he had to get it

0:04:05 > 0:04:05was him putting on the show of his life. Chemmy, he had to get it

0:04:05 > 0:04:10spot-on in this final run.Exactly. He came into this in last place. He

0:04:10 > 0:04:15misread the wind on the first two runs and had some falls. The

0:04:15 > 0:04:20pull-out this run so neat and tidy, he said his aim was to land the run

0:04:20 > 0:04:24and boy did he. What a tactician. You can see the adjustments made for

0:04:24 > 0:04:29the wind, the jumps and it was from here he really impressed. The

0:04:29 > 0:04:37creativity in the air and easy on to the final jump,

0:04:37 > 0:04:39the final jump, pumping speed, looking for it everywhere. He didn't

0:04:39 > 0:04:42know he had the run of his life at the bottom. He had to wait and watch

0:04:42 > 0:04:47the others come behind him. It's the precision and being so young and not

0:04:47 > 0:04:51letting the moment affecting, amazing to see. They have an

0:04:51 > 0:04:54interesting attitude, the snowboarders and the freestyle

0:04:54 > 0:04:54skiers.

0:04:54 > 0:04:57snowboarders and the freestyle skiers. It's all about having fun,

0:04:57 > 0:05:04relaxing and just enjoying it.You can't brace. If you're doing a

0:05:04 > 0:05:07creative sport where you are flying high in the air, if you stop racing

0:05:07 > 0:05:13you won't be able to perform at your best. Here he is getting his gold

0:05:13 > 0:05:19medal.He was born in the 2000s. It's amazing.Those are the heaviest

0:05:19 > 0:05:24medals ever made for the Olympic Games.Mind is

0:05:24 > 0:05:29medals ever made for the Olympic Games.Mind is over 500 grams.Look

0:05:29 > 0:05:33at the rotation. It's amazing. The feeling of having the medal round

0:05:33 > 0:05:38your neck.

0:05:39 > 0:05:45your neck. When that's around your neck and you have a moment

0:05:45 > 0:05:49afterwards to replay what you do, I watch myself and doesn't feel like

0:05:49 > 0:05:53it's me. He will probably watch himself here doing this performance

0:05:53 > 0:06:02is probably for years to come. He's got the big air to come as well.

0:06:02 > 0:06:05Honestly, he is going to be the pin-up boy of the USA. Their first

0:06:05 > 0:06:14gold medal of the games. Live changes for him. He'll be on all the

0:06:14 > 0:06:18big shows. When you haven't got that pressure of being the complete

0:06:18 > 0:06:20favourite, and you're a

0:06:20 > 0:06:21pressure of being the complete favourite, and you're a bit of an

0:06:21 > 0:06:25underdog, you can just give it everything you've got. You've got

0:06:25 > 0:06:28the freedom within your body to be like, I've got nothing to lose. I

0:06:28 > 0:06:33can give it my all, have fun and see what happens. That is clearly what

0:06:33 > 0:06:39can happen.We are going to a similar expressive sport but with a

0:06:39 > 0:06:47combination of speed. This isn't all about tricks, they are

0:06:47 > 0:06:49about tricks, they are important but Matt Chilton can tell us more about

0:06:49 > 0:06:51the ladies moguls and about the conditions out there because it

0:06:51 > 0:06:53looks like it's snowing.

0:06:53 > 0:06:55conditions out there because it looks like it's snowing.That's

0:06:55 > 0:06:59right, it has just started to snow and visibility was pretty tough in

0:06:59 > 0:07:05the first phase of the final. We now have the start list for the last 12.

0:07:05 > 0:07:11This is final number two. A dozen will go with the scores from the

0:07:11 > 0:07:18previous runs scrubbed off, so it's a fresh start.

0:07:19 > 0:07:26a fresh start. This is the order in which they finished the first round.

0:07:34 > 0:07:42Dulfour had the best score in the previous run. Just Dean

0:07:42 > 0:07:45Dufour-Lapointe is the defending champion. We've had 20 athletes

0:07:45 > 0:07:50whittled down to 12 for final number two. Final number three will involve

0:07:50 > 0:07:57just the best six who will go for gold, silver and bronze. It's a

0:07:57 > 0:08:04pretty ruthless cut-off strategy from here on in. We have the judges

0:08:04 > 0:08:10looking for turns in particular, the turn Marks make up 60% of the marks.

0:08:10 > 0:08:17There they are. 20% is about the time, 20% is about the two jumps,

0:08:17 > 0:08:25the two compulsory kickers. The pace time is 28.4 seconds. To be in with

0:08:25 > 0:08:29a chance of a medal realistically you've got to ski well, Perloff two

0:08:29 > 0:08:37good jumps and break 30 seconds. With the wind heading up the course

0:08:37 > 0:08:42it might slow them down slightly. We'll see how it unfolds. The first

0:08:42 > 0:08:48athlete to ski in the penultimate round tonight is Ekaterina

0:08:48 > 0:08:52Stolyarova. She's looking for a place in the top six, from the

0:08:52 > 0:09:05Olympic Athletes from Russia team. 19th in Sochi, seventh in Vancouver,

0:09:05 > 0:09:09skiing in her third Olympic Winter Games. She is released at the top of

0:09:09 > 0:09:17the course, about ten turns before the first kicker. Here it is. She

0:09:17 > 0:09:25goes conservative. Single 360. Single rotation. This is where the

0:09:25 > 0:09:29judges are paying closest attention, those blue bands on her white ski

0:09:29 > 0:09:35pants giving them an idea of how close together the knees are. It's a

0:09:35 > 0:09:39really good execution. She's got to go in there to do, she does.

0:09:39 > 0:09:49Backflip, solid landing. Doesn't quite break 30 seconds. That gives

0:09:49 > 0:09:53her 13.65 points. Good skiing all night from Stolyarova from the

0:09:53 > 0:09:59Olympic Athletes from Russia team. Clockwise 360, looking for the

0:09:59 > 0:10:05landing. She spots it, starts to put the turns in as soon as she dares

0:10:05 > 0:10:11post landing. The middle part of the course was executed really neatly.

0:10:11 > 0:10:21Here is the bottom kicker. Arms out wide to emphasise the style of that

0:10:21 > 0:10:29second jump. Stolyarova, the last of the qualifiers from the group of 20.

0:10:29 > 0:10:39Waiting for her score to come in. She's now got to watch and wait to

0:10:39 > 0:10:47see if that's enough to see her through to the top six. Regina

0:10:47 > 0:10:54Rakhimova is next ago, also from the Olympic Athletes from Russia team.

0:10:54 > 0:11:00Another 360. We'll see some of the later competitors putting in

0:11:00 > 0:11:05backflips. Some may be with a single twist off that top kicker. Two

0:11:05 > 0:11:12somersaults to win a medal tonight required. Rakhimova carving her way

0:11:12 > 0:11:17between the two control gates. Eight metres apart. Truck driver grabbed

0:11:17 > 0:11:27on the way round on that backflip. Pretty good from ski a number two in

0:11:27 > 0:11:33this second final.

0:11:33 > 0:11:36this second final. Only 12 to be in with a chance of skiing for an

0:11:36 > 0:11:41Olympic medal. Landing off the first kicker was pretty solid. The turns

0:11:41 > 0:11:47mid-course were OK. She's chasing the score of her team-mate

0:11:47 > 0:11:57Stolyarova of 72.70 four. --

0:11:57 > 0:12:03she moves into first position.

0:12:15 > 0:12:25The first of three Canadians in this group of 12.

0:12:25 > 0:12:32group of 12. The defending champion Dufour-Lapointe will be last to ski.

0:12:32 > 0:12:37Full twisting back somersault from Naude. Visibility is terrible. The

0:12:37 > 0:12:41floodlights cutting through the snow and eliminating the bumps. Andi

0:12:41 > 0:12:46Naude pro is eating up the ground. Compact style, her knees absorbing

0:12:46 > 0:12:51everything that comes her way. Brilliant skiing from the Canadian.

0:12:51 > 0:13:06She is under 30! The quickest of this penultimate final so far giving

0:13:06 > 0:13:10her 15.34 time points. I would think that is comfortably enough to move

0:13:10 > 0:13:16her into first position. First jump absolutely picture perfect, full

0:13:16 > 0:13:20twisting back somersault. She turns with the red bands on the knees to

0:13:20 > 0:13:25emphasise the style for the judges. Absolutely beautifully executed and

0:13:25 > 0:13:34then this was sensational. Like an area

0:13:36 > 0:13:40area -- racking up good time points, good air points. Excellent earn

0:13:40 > 0:13:46points. She will lead the way.

0:13:48 > 0:13:50points. She will lead the way. The score is irrelevant, it's about

0:13:50 > 0:13:59qualifying. It's about making the top six. To go for a medal.First of

0:13:59 > 0:14:05the Americans, test Johnson.

0:14:05 > 0:14:09the Americans, test Johnson.Johnson ready to go. The 17-year-old in her

0:14:09 > 0:14:17first Olympic Games, obviously. Tenth in the World Championships

0:14:17 > 0:14:21last year. Snowfall is getting heavier. The blizzard intensifying

0:14:21 > 0:14:25as Tess Johnson skis through those magnificent turns in the middle part

0:14:25 > 0:14:31of the course. Now she is approaching the bottom kicker in

0:14:31 > 0:14:35good shape. Great control. Straight... A slight wobble on

0:14:35 > 0:14:41landing, that's not going to help. Beyond 30 seconds on the clock. A

0:14:41 > 0:14:48mixed bag for Tess Johnson.

0:14:48 > 0:14:54mixed bag for Tess Johnson. Started well.

0:14:54 > 0:14:59well. Slightly conservative first jump. An old-fashioned helicopter or

0:14:59 > 0:15:04360 as they call it these days. The middle turns were pretty good. She

0:15:04 > 0:15:10was beyond 30 seconds so she's only taken 13.3 to time points. The

0:15:10 > 0:15:17landing at the bottom of the course slightly let her down.

0:15:17 > 0:15:19She wasn't in total control,

0:15:19 > 0:15:23She wasn't in total control, she had to recover her left ski. There were

0:15:23 > 0:15:31no further distinct terms. She will be for. -- four. She had to wait and

0:15:31 > 0:15:38see, for mistakes for others. I would think it unlikely now. Audrey

0:15:38 > 0:15:43Robichaud, the second of the three Canadians. Two Australians are still

0:15:43 > 0:15:49to come, but

0:15:49 > 0:15:53to come, but Audrey Robichaud on her way for the Canadian team. 29 years

0:15:53 > 0:15:59old,

0:15:59 > 0:16:03old, floating around the 360. Thank goodness for the floodlights. Look

0:16:03 > 0:16:09at her knees, knocked together. Synchronised absorption. Audrey

0:16:09 > 0:16:14Robichaud and ripping it up. I don't think she will beat 30 seconds. A

0:16:14 > 0:16:19little slow compared to some. Truck driver with a big somersault. The

0:16:19 > 0:16:24terms at the bottom were neat, you cannot fold them, the time is the

0:16:24 > 0:16:38weak link. The combination of air points and ten points will -- turn

0:16:38 > 0:16:47points will help Audrey Robichaud. First kicker, 360. In her third

0:16:47 > 0:16:55Olympics, she missed Vancouver, she was eighth in 2006 in Italy and in

0:16:55 > 0:17:02Saatchi, eight years later, she was ten. Will she go to the final six

0:17:02 > 0:17:13tonight? Where have the judges put her? Second.

0:17:13 > 0:17:21her? Second. 74.80 nine. A nervous wait. Seven still to come and only

0:17:21 > 0:17:26six places up for grabs. Yulia Galysheva next to go, for

0:17:26 > 0:17:37Kazakhstan. Fired up and ready to ski here in Pyeongchang, at the

0:17:37 > 0:17:43Phoenix Snow Park. Throws back somersault of the first kicker.

0:17:43 > 0:17:47Coming right down the centre of the track. And she's making some

0:17:47 > 0:17:54exquisite mogul turns here. The 25 rolled from Kazakhstan, with a huge

0:17:54 > 0:18:01amount of experience. Approaching the final kicker. Front flip and

0:18:01 > 0:18:08landed perfectly ex-Mac brilliant, just beyond 30 seconds. All in all,

0:18:08 > 0:18:20a great run to watch from Yulia Galysheva who was 11th in Saatchi,

0:18:20 > 0:18:36in her third now. And the node leaves is -- Andi Naude leads.

0:18:36 > 0:18:44Regina Rakhimova from the Olympic athletes of Russia third.

0:18:44 > 0:18:46athletes of Russia third. So far, no unqualified, still six to come. A

0:18:46 > 0:18:57front flip off the final kicker beautifully executed and enjoy

0:18:57 > 0:18:59beautifully executed and enjoy there from the coach. Second now, a

0:18:59 > 0:19:06nervous wait for Galysheva. The only French skier in the competition

0:19:06 > 0:19:14tonight. Perrine Laffont, skied brilliantly on Friday in the first

0:19:14 > 0:19:22qualifying competition with the best mark, 79.72, but little lacklustre

0:19:22 > 0:19:27earlier tonight. Can she reproduce her form from Friday? She has gone

0:19:27 > 0:19:36for a low scoring 360 the first kicker. Right in the middle of the

0:19:36 > 0:19:41course, knees tied together absorbing moguls. Beautiful skiing

0:19:41 > 0:19:43from Perrine Laffont, a marked improvement from what we score

0:19:43 > 0:19:49earlier tonight. She's gone big, little scruffy in-flight, the

0:19:49 > 0:19:59landing was OK. Just inside 30 seconds.

0:19:59 > 0:20:02seconds. The French fans here hoping for some success, they get to win a

0:20:02 > 0:20:08medal in the Winter Olympic Games. 360 off the first kicker for Perrine

0:20:08 > 0:20:14Laffont. Silver medallist behind Britteny Cox at the World

0:20:14 > 0:20:24Championship in Sierra Nevada last season. . A little conservative

0:20:24 > 0:20:27perhaps? The first jump secondly was, and the second kicker was a

0:20:27 > 0:20:42little clunky. Will not be enough to take the lead away from Andy node.

0:20:42 > 0:20:54They think it's good enough for second. That means that Andi Naude

0:20:54 > 0:21:04has qualified with 78.78 with just five skiers to come. Next to come

0:21:04 > 0:21:07from Australia, Britteny Cox, who, in Vancouver eight years ago, was

0:21:07 > 0:21:13that the youngest competitor in the Winter Olympic Games aged just 15.

0:21:13 > 0:21:16Clockwise 360, wasn't the best landing but look at her knees

0:21:16 > 0:21:25working now, Pistons. Sucking up the bumps one by one. Incredible pace

0:21:25 > 0:21:34for Britteny Cox. Scheme beautifully. -- skiing.

0:21:34 > 0:21:38beautifully. -- skiing. Laser out lands Sweet, breaks 30 seconds, that

0:21:38 > 0:21:44will probably be good enough to lead and will surely be good enough to

0:21:44 > 0:21:51see the world champion through to the super final. Britteny Cox in

0:21:51 > 0:21:58irresistible form here tonight. The first kicker, the landing was the

0:21:58 > 0:22:01only sketchy moment. Just the split-second of these terms, so

0:22:01 > 0:22:08aggressive. She made light work of the middle part of the course. And

0:22:08 > 0:22:16styled out the final jump, through the blizzard.

0:22:16 > 0:22:20the blizzard. It's the second quickest time of the night, Cox is

0:22:20 > 0:22:26second. And with four to come, she too has qualified for the super

0:22:26 > 0:22:33final. The one who's waiting nervously at the moment is Perrine

0:22:33 > 0:22:39Laffont who is pushed down to third. Andi Naude and Britteny Cox art

0:22:39 > 0:22:48through. Takara Anthony is next. Second Australian -- Jakara Anthony.

0:22:48 > 0:22:59Just an 19 years old. Ten turns before the first kicker. 360.

0:22:59 > 0:23:02Visibility really tough now. The wind might be a factor, that's

0:23:02 > 0:23:06probably what's putting them making really big jumps on the top kicker

0:23:06 > 0:23:10but they've got to throw caution to the wind at the second kicker. And

0:23:10 > 0:23:17really go high and long. Jakara Anthony in great shape, styles out

0:23:17 > 0:23:25the final jump. The time beyond 30. This could be touch and go for

0:23:25 > 0:23:33Jakara Anthony. We know that Andi Naude has qualified with 78.78. We

0:23:33 > 0:23:42know that Britteny Cox is through to the super final with 78 point 28.

0:23:42 > 0:23:49Currently third waiting nervously is Perrine Laffont on France, and now a

0:23:49 > 0:23:52nervous wait for the judges to deliberate for another 19-year-old,

0:23:52 > 0:24:06Jack Anthony. Tucked back somersault to conclude. She is for. -- four.

0:24:06 > 0:24:12She's in there for the moment. With three to come, the best three after

0:24:12 > 0:24:17the qualifying round, she may not make it. So we know that Kareem

0:24:17 > 0:24:21Lafond has now qualified. We know that Britteny Cox is through, and

0:24:21 > 0:24:32the Canadian Andi Naude is through. First of the last three, Keaton

0:24:32 > 0:24:38McCargo, the 22-year-old American. On her way. 360 off the first

0:24:38 > 0:24:48kicker. In her first Olympic Winter games. Started skiing at the age of

0:24:48 > 0:24:52two, she's messing up some of the turn in the middle part of the

0:24:52 > 0:24:55course. Jakara Anthony will be watching closely knowing that the

0:24:55 > 0:25:01judges will mark Keaton McCargo down for that mistake. The landing on the

0:25:01 > 0:25:06final somersault is perfect. The air was good, time was good as well. But

0:25:06 > 0:25:16she knows that the turn marks could be her downfall. She started well

0:25:16 > 0:25:18with the 360.

0:25:21 > 0:25:28That was a mistake. Could not disguise it. The judges could spot

0:25:28 > 0:25:33it. And they will mark her down accordingly. Find margins tonight at

0:25:33 > 0:25:39the highest level of the sport.

0:25:39 > 0:25:42the highest level of the sport. The true winter feel to the Olympic

0:25:42 > 0:25:47games now, bitterly cold, snow falling, perfect. She's out of the

0:25:47 > 0:25:56contest. Sixth for the moment. Not out, because she is in with two to

0:25:56 > 0:26:00come but it's unlikely, she'll have two hopes for big mistakes from

0:26:00 > 0:26:06Jaelin Kauf and Justine Dufour-Lapointe. So after Anthony

0:26:06 > 0:26:13has now definitely qualified.

0:26:13 > 0:26:18has now definitely qualified. Two to go, Jaelin Kauf is away the United

0:26:18 > 0:26:27States of America. Both her parents were probed for bump skiers. -- pro

0:26:27 > 0:26:32tour bump skiers. She has the worst of the snowfall. She's eating up the

0:26:32 > 0:26:36bumps in the middle part of the cause, perfect and renovation of the

0:26:36 > 0:26:42knees, upper body, minimum movement. Effortless and fast. Flies the final

0:26:42 > 0:26:48kicker, backflip with an iron Cross. Under 30 seconds. Jaelin Kauf puts

0:26:48 > 0:26:54one down. That's got to begin enough to see her through to the super

0:26:54 > 0:26:59final. -- that Scots to be good enough.

0:27:08 > 0:27:14360 at the top in the first kicker. Beautiful rhythm with the arms,

0:27:14 > 0:27:21across the body. Her skis maintaining maximum contact with the

0:27:21 > 0:27:26snow until she flew with a back flip iron Cross manoeuvre to finish her

0:27:26 > 0:27:31run. She thought it was good. I thought it was good. It's about what

0:27:31 > 0:27:39the judges thought. She's in the top six at the moment, just one to come.

0:27:39 > 0:27:46She's got a nervous watch now with just Justine Dufour-Lapointe left to

0:27:46 > 0:27:54ski. That means that Yulia Galysheva has qualified. Can the defending

0:27:54 > 0:27:57champion ski into the super final? Justine Dufour-Lapointe will be the

0:27:57 > 0:28:06last skier on the Hill. The 24-year old, Gold medallist from Saatchi,

0:28:06 > 0:28:10with her sister Chloe taking silver and her older sister Maxine in the

0:28:10 > 0:28:18fourth, it was a night for them.

0:28:18 > 0:28:20fourth, it was a night for them. She starts to move it up through the

0:28:20 > 0:28:26gears. No mistakes at all. Hold out in front, little flick of the wrist

0:28:26 > 0:28:32to keep her with moving. Fast and furious and great to watch the

0:28:32 > 0:28:38defending champion. What a jump! Massive hikes, she round it off in

0:28:38 > 0:28:46style. -- massive height.

0:28:47 > 0:28:51style. -- massive height. Justine Dufour-Lapointe has surely done

0:28:51 > 0:28:55enough to take her place in the super final. And in doing so she

0:28:55 > 0:29:01will almost certainly put out Jaelin Kauf who's on the cut-off point

0:29:01 > 0:29:09right now. Brilliant from Justine Dufour-Lapointe, aiming to become

0:29:09 > 0:29:16the first woman ever to win back-to-back Olympic moguls title.

0:29:16 > 0:29:25Her compatriot one two in a row in Sochi and rank over, the first man

0:29:25 > 0:29:32to do it. -- Vancouver. She is surely on her way to the super final

0:29:32 > 0:29:40where the top six race in reverse order. She's there, forth.

0:29:40 > 0:29:44order. She's there, forth. And that means that she has nudged out Jaelin

0:29:44 > 0:29:47Kauf from the top of the leaderboard. We know who the final

0:29:47 > 0:29:53six will be. Justine Dufour-Lapointe has a chance to defend her Olympic

0:29:53 > 0:30:04title. So, it's Yulia Galysheva last in. She'll be joined in the super

0:30:04 > 0:30:07six by Jakara Anthony, Justine Dufour-Lapointe, Perrine Laffont,

0:30:07 > 0:30:13Britteny Cox and Andi Naude.

0:30:16 > 0:30:20We will be back there for the super final. You can see them repairing

0:30:20 > 0:30:25the track, making sure those bumps are as high as they should be. It is

0:30:25 > 0:30:32snowing really hard, you would think that the super final could be

0:30:32 > 0:30:35delayed?It is staying quite consistent. It will be the same for

0:30:35 > 0:30:39all of them. This is the Olympics, you need to challenge yourself. You

0:30:39 > 0:30:46cannot control the weather. Control what you can control. We've got to

0:30:46 > 0:30:52go with it. There's some really good pace there. Control in the air, and

0:30:52 > 0:30:59tight lines. It was so exciting. It is going to be bitterly cold. And a

0:30:59 > 0:31:03decent crowd at the luge. Underway in the fourth and final run, in

0:31:03 > 0:31:10reverse order. Felix Loch is trying to retain his title. He will be the

0:31:10 > 0:31:15last man down the track. That's live on the red button. We will bring you

0:31:15 > 0:31:21up to date with all that is going on on BBC One later. Before the super

0:31:21 > 0:31:25final of the moguls, we had the chance to reflect on something that

0:31:25 > 0:31:29happened early this morning. People get into winter sport in a number of

0:31:29 > 0:31:34different ways, how did you get into skeleton?I took myself along to the

0:31:34 > 0:31:38Star Trek in Bath after talking to people in the gym.

0:31:38 > 0:31:42Star Trek in Bath after talking to people in the gym. -- down to the

0:31:42 > 0:31:49track.Did you get on a machine? Andrew Musgrave was put on skis as a

0:31:49 > 0:31:53toddler in the Alps. His dad worked in the oil industry, they travelled

0:31:53 > 0:31:57all over. Then at the age of five he went to Anchorage, Alaska, then to

0:31:57 > 0:32:03Aberdeenshire when he was 11. He joined the Hunley Nordic and outdoor

0:32:03 > 0:32:06leisure group to make friends and he begins to get really good at

0:32:06 > 0:32:10cross-country. Then he moved himself to Norway. Now he is a major

0:32:10 > 0:32:14competitor. He was looking to become the first British cross-country

0:32:14 > 0:32:18skier ever to finish in the top ten that they winter Olympic

0:32:18 > 0:32:25cross-country event. Today it was the skiathlon. 15 K classic style,

0:32:25 > 0:32:2915 K freestyle. Which he prefers. This is what happened earlier...

0:32:29 > 0:32:3015 K freestyle. Which he prefers. This is what happened earlier...

0:32:30 > 0:32:34COMMENTATOR: The first event in the men's cross-country programme at

0:32:34 > 0:32:39Pyeongchang 2018... The 30 kilometres skiathlon. They are

0:32:39 > 0:32:45underway. We've been looking forward to this race for the last few

0:32:45 > 0:32:51months. Bearing in mind the form of some of the very best in the world.

0:32:51 > 0:32:54There is so much history on the line, for so many competing here

0:32:54 > 0:33:03today. Doria,

0:33:04 > 0:33:07today. Doria, the dominant force on the World Cup circuit, hoping to

0:33:07 > 0:33:13become the youngest ever Winter Olympic champion. That was Kruger

0:33:13 > 0:33:20who fell there. A real shame. At 27, that was Toni Livers back in his

0:33:20 > 0:33:26fourth games. That is a real shock. The good news, I guess from their

0:33:26 > 0:33:30perspective, is that hopefully the pace will not be too fast. They've

0:33:30 > 0:33:33got the opportunity to get back. Kruger was fresh and rested for

0:33:33 > 0:33:42those games. Let's get an indication as to what happened...At the front,

0:33:42 > 0:33:58it looks like it is Kruger going down first. He is caught up with

0:33:58 > 0:34:04Larkov and Spitsov.

0:34:04 > 0:34:06Larkov and Spitsov.It is the ultimate test of the cross-country

0:34:06 > 0:34:11skier. Half of the race in freestyle. Half of the racing in

0:34:11 > 0:34:17classical. Look at this from Andrew Musgrave. My goodness, what an

0:34:17 > 0:34:21effort and what a performance so far. He has to keep it going and

0:34:21 > 0:34:27even if he does not end up on the podium, what confidence for his best

0:34:27 > 0:34:33event, the 15 K. No Britain is inside, the top 25 of any

0:34:33 > 0:34:36cross-country ski race in the history of the Olympic Games. Can

0:34:36 > 0:34:43you believe it. He is absolutely flying at the moment. Musgrave doing

0:34:43 > 0:34:48all of the hard work here. He is in the silver medal position. I really

0:34:48 > 0:34:52am enjoying saying that! Less than four limit is to go. And Kruger,

0:34:52 > 0:35:00clearly feeling as though going hard with four kilometres to go is his

0:35:00 > 0:35:06best chance of getting on the podium and winning the race. If you are new

0:35:06 > 0:35:09to cross-country skiing, you are more used to watching distance

0:35:09 > 0:35:14running. The same principles of brave reapplied. To go this far out

0:35:14 > 0:35:26shows you his intent. The Britain needs to hold on here... Maurice

0:35:26 > 0:35:34Manificat, the defending champion in three. The few meters have opened up

0:35:34 > 0:35:38now between Andrew Musgrave and the men currently not battling for three

0:35:38 > 0:35:46medals but battling for two. It is Norway one, two and three at the

0:35:46 > 0:35:51moment. They are closing down on Kruger. They have a monstrous crime

0:35:51 > 0:36:00to content between now and the finish. Here it is... He is

0:36:00 > 0:36:08seriously hurting now. His lead has been halved, from 22 seconds to 11.

0:36:08 > 0:36:17Sundby in second place. With Holund behind. Norway are occupying all

0:36:17 > 0:36:19three middle position is at the moment and their lungs will be

0:36:19 > 0:36:24bursting. Kruger, having fallen right at the start of the race, he

0:36:24 > 0:36:32is going to finish the day in a blaze of glory. An incredible

0:36:32 > 0:36:39recovery against one of the best skiathlon fields ever assembled. He

0:36:39 > 0:36:43is the Winter Olympic champion! He was down at the start but he was not

0:36:43 > 0:36:51out. He did not give up. The epitome of what the Olympics is all about.

0:36:51 > 0:36:56It is a one, two, three for the Norwegians. With Holund coming home

0:36:56 > 0:37:03for the bronze. We are still waiting for Andrew Musgrave. A sensational

0:37:03 > 0:37:08effort from the Britain, it really is. Andrew Musgrave in seventh

0:37:08 > 0:37:10position. The best previous performance by a British

0:37:10 > 0:37:17cross-country skier, 29th, announcing his arrival at the top of

0:37:17 > 0:37:22the sport, saying we Brits can be world class as well. What a finish

0:37:22 > 0:37:26from Musgrave and along his scalps -- among his scalps, the World Cup

0:37:26 > 0:37:34leader could only finish in tenth. I'm disappointed to be honest. With

0:37:34 > 0:37:39one lap and a half, I was feeling confident. I thought I could medal

0:37:39 > 0:37:44and I was feeling really good. I tried to keep up on the last lap but

0:37:44 > 0:37:48went a little hard. I slipped back through the field. And what do you

0:37:48 > 0:37:57need to do to beat the Norwegians? Go faster than them! I don't know.

0:37:57 > 0:38:01It's a completely different race when it is an individual start. I

0:38:01 > 0:38:05think I just need to race to get back into it. A couple of days of

0:38:05 > 0:38:09easy training and I should

0:38:09 > 0:38:10back into it. A couple of days of easy training and I should be all

0:38:10 > 0:38:17right.On Friday he will be back in action. There we go going, best ever

0:38:17 > 0:38:21result for a British cross-country skier, and he's disappointed.He

0:38:21 > 0:38:25expects that much to himself. He was in second place for so much of it.

0:38:25 > 0:38:33It plays on his mind. Could he have maintained it? He has two of his

0:38:33 > 0:38:38favourite events to come. Who knows? And Krueger, he fell at the start,

0:38:38 > 0:38:43and he still wins gold?Don't give up, you never know what will happen.

0:38:43 > 0:38:49You can still get to the front and when!We are heading back for more

0:38:49 > 0:38:53action. Let's go back over to the women's moguls and rejoin Matt

0:38:53 > 0:38:54Chilton...

0:38:54 > 0:38:57women's moguls and rejoin Matt Chilton... COMMENTATOR: Six to go,

0:38:57 > 0:39:06it's the super final here.

0:39:06 > 0:39:11it's the super final here. The defending champion, one of two

0:39:11 > 0:39:19Canadians, we have the judges who are some way behind the falling

0:39:19 > 0:39:33snow. 60% of the scoring is about the turns. 20% the speed, 20

0:39:33 > 0:39:38percent, the air. Six left in the competition. Three will take the

0:39:38 > 0:39:45medals. Three will leave disappointed.

0:39:45 > 0:39:50disappointed. The last of the qualifiers, Yulia Galysheva will go.

0:39:50 > 0:39:56She slides forward now, onto the bridge, her ski tips just over the

0:39:56 > 0:40:03top. Time will start as she pushes off. Final words of advice from her

0:40:03 > 0:40:08coach at the top of the course... Potentially 30 seconds, or

0:40:08 > 0:40:13thereabouts, between Yulia Galysheva and an Olympic medal. The super

0:40:13 > 0:40:17final for the women's Olympic moguls competition is underway. Yulia

0:40:17 > 0:40:22Galysheva coming down the centre, she gets a decent somersault in.

0:40:22 > 0:40:25Taking a brave aerial position at the top of the course. Now we follow

0:40:25 > 0:40:29her with the camera at the side of the track. These are still locked in

0:40:29 > 0:40:38well. Solid skiing from the athlete from Kazakhstan. Tiring slightly as

0:40:38 > 0:40:42she goes front flip of the final jump and lands it softly. Just over

0:40:42 > 0:40:5530 seconds. 30.1 four. Two big brave jumps from Yulia Galysheva. Of

0:40:55 > 0:40:59Kazakhstan in her third Olympic Games. Seventh in Sochi. Can she

0:40:59 > 0:41:06improve sufficiently to get her first Olympic medal? The first jump

0:41:06 > 0:41:13was solid. The turns in the middle of the course were exemplary. The

0:41:13 > 0:41:22final kicker. Difficult, if front flip, she grabbed the ski pads

0:41:22 > 0:41:26rather than the skis, that was the object there. The time was solid.

0:41:26 > 0:41:42Just over 30 seconds. 30.1 four,. That is her school.

0:41:42 > 0:41:45That is her school. -- 30.14, that is her score. The Australians have

0:41:45 > 0:41:53the first of their two competitors in this final, Jakara Anthony.

0:41:53 > 0:41:58Qualified in fact, she is ready to go. The 19-year-old is up and

0:41:58 > 0:42:03running. For the last time in the 2018 Olympic final. A 360 to begin

0:42:03 > 0:42:06with. The landing was a little slow but now she moves up through the

0:42:06 > 0:42:16gears. She begins to turn on the a few but -- turn on the afterburners.

0:42:16 > 0:42:20Jakara Anthony with some sensational mogul skiing here, she hasn't put a

0:42:20 > 0:42:24foot wrong. Mistake free, the knees have been locked together. High

0:42:24 > 0:42:29backtalk somersault. The speed is slightly slower than Yulia

0:42:29 > 0:42:37Galysheva. 30.94 seconds. Couldn't have done any more, at the age of

0:42:37 > 0:42:4819. Jakara Anthony... The first jump with a 360. 12th in the World

0:42:48 > 0:42:57Championships in Spain last year. Been consistent without being

0:42:57 > 0:43:03spectacular on the season long World Cup campaign. The current score to

0:43:03 > 0:43:09beat. 77.4, to move into gold medal positioning. That is currently held

0:43:09 > 0:43:16by Yulia Galysheva from Kazakhstan. A soft landing on the final backflip

0:43:16 > 0:43:22from Cheika Anthony. -- Jakara Anthony. She goes into silver medal

0:43:22 > 0:43:29position.

0:43:29 > 0:43:36position. Yulia Galysheva leading. Next up, the defending champion,

0:43:36 > 0:43:38Justine Dufour-Lapointe. Could she become the first skier ever to win

0:43:38 > 0:43:52this twice? Introduced to the Olympic programme in 1992.

0:43:52 > 0:43:57Olympic programme in 1992. Kari Traa in salt lake city, and then Jennifer

0:43:57 > 0:44:01Heil. Justine Dufour-Lapointe, won in Sochi four years ago. Bidding for

0:44:01 > 0:44:05her second successive gold. She hits the bumps in the middle of the

0:44:05 > 0:44:12course and she's really piling on the

0:44:12 > 0:44:14the pressure on Yulia Galysheva, waiting at the bottom of the

0:44:14 > 0:44:19mountain. Saving the best until last. She is tearing through the

0:44:19 > 0:44:22turns. Flying high, and landing softly. Slightly backwards, and

0:44:22 > 0:44:35inside a 30 seconds. The fastest of the day so far in this super final.

0:44:35 > 0:44:3729.54 seconds. Justine Dufour-Lapointe has opened up this

0:44:37 > 0:44:42final. That might be enough to bring her another Olympic medal. This is

0:44:42 > 0:44:48the first of the kickers... 360. A soft landing. Straight back into the

0:44:48 > 0:44:55turning. The skis are left on the track. You can see her eyes through

0:44:55 > 0:45:01the goggles. Concentrating, staring down the line. She flew high,

0:45:01 > 0:45:07gracefully round for a second kicker. The land was soft again.

0:45:07 > 0:45:12It's got to be good enough for the lead, for the defending champion.

0:45:12 > 0:45:18There will be three more to go. Justine Dufour-Lapointe, leading the

0:45:18 > 0:45:28way. 78.56 for the defending champion.

0:45:30 > 0:45:36Yulia Galysheva pushed down to second and Dhaka to Anthony holds

0:45:36 > 0:45:40gold medal position. There is our new leader. Three to come. Perrine

0:45:40 > 0:45:48Laffont will be next. Another youngster, just 19 years old. She's

0:45:48 > 0:45:52been getting better and better as the day goes on. And now she needs

0:45:52 > 0:46:00her best ever run. The first ten turns before the kicker. Laffont

0:46:00 > 0:46:03keeps it straightforward, lacks a little control straight after the

0:46:03 > 0:46:10landing. Back on top of the now and absolutely tearing the course. That

0:46:10 > 0:46:14mistake on first landing might just cost her in the eyes of the judges.

0:46:14 > 0:46:19She's got to go big and get this right. The landing is OK, the time

0:46:19 > 0:46:28is all right. She is the quickest of the super final so far. So a mixed

0:46:28 > 0:46:36bag for Perrine Laffont. We'll see the key elements of that run again.

0:46:36 > 0:46:40Here is the 360 off the top kicker. Just a moments hesitation. Before

0:46:40 > 0:46:49she got back into the turning elements of the course. Once she

0:46:49 > 0:46:55did, the knees worked relentlessly down this track. She's got to beat

0:46:55 > 0:47:06Justin -- Justine Dufour-Lapointe and it's got to be tight.

0:47:06 > 0:47:15Dufour-Lapointe leads, Galysheva and Anthony in second and third. Where

0:47:15 > 0:47:25they could put her? First! 78.65. Quickest of the super final so far

0:47:25 > 0:47:33and she's guaranteed another. -- a medal. She will win France's first

0:47:33 > 0:47:37medal in the Winter Olympic Games with two to come. Perrine Laffont

0:47:37 > 0:47:47has gold medal position. Can Britteny Cox steal it from her? The

0:47:47 > 0:47:51Australian is ready to go one more time. Champion of the world from 12

0:47:51 > 0:48:00months ago. She has the worst of the wind. She's away. Cox makes her

0:48:00 > 0:48:05first ten turns without so much as a twitch. A little out of control on

0:48:05 > 0:48:12the first six terms, posted the first kicker, that could cost her.

0:48:12 > 0:48:15She's letting them get away from her. It's a slightly uncontrolled

0:48:15 > 0:48:21midsection from Britteny Cox, setting up for the final kicker.

0:48:21 > 0:48:29Backflip and land is a little hard. It's 28.29 so she has put down the

0:48:29 > 0:48:35fastest run of the super final.

0:48:36 > 0:48:38fastest run of the super final. The time was better than anyone but

0:48:38 > 0:48:42that's only 20% of the score. It's the turn marks which could prove

0:48:42 > 0:48:49decisive tonight.

0:48:49 > 0:48:51decisive tonight. Just a little mistake on landing and one further

0:48:51 > 0:48:57error further down the course, she just lost control momentarily. Her

0:48:57 > 0:49:02skis slightly apart. It was not perfect. Serena Ford leads for

0:49:02 > 0:49:15France. -- Purina fonts. -- Perrine Laffont.

0:49:15 > 0:49:24Laffont. Justine Dufour-Lapointe second, Yulia Galysheva third.

0:49:24 > 0:49:26second, Yulia Galysheva third. She's gone the fifth, she's out of the

0:49:26 > 0:49:33medals. And that means with one come, Justine Dufour-Lapointe will

0:49:33 > 0:49:37take at worst the bronze medal. Guaranteed one, the Canadian in the

0:49:37 > 0:49:48middle of your screen. Korean

0:49:48 > 0:49:52middle of your screen. Korean -- Laffont will have to wait and see

0:49:52 > 0:50:01what Andi Naude does. Last to ski in the women's super final, and the

0:50:01 > 0:50:0522-year-old Canadian Andi Naude ready to go. Andi Naude ready and

0:50:05 > 0:50:11away. A slow start as she picked our lines are the first few turns.

0:50:11 > 0:50:16Really thrown it down, though! Fall twisting back somersault. Struggling

0:50:16 > 0:50:21to regain control and now she's out! And that means she will not win a

0:50:21 > 0:50:31medal. And Perrine Laffont is the Olympics champion for 2018! France

0:50:31 > 0:50:35kick-start their Winter Olympics with gold in the women's moguls.

0:50:35 > 0:50:45Justine Dufour-Lapointe takes silver, Yulia Galysheva the bronze.

0:50:45 > 0:50:48Andi Naude finishes showboating, keeping the crowd entertained but a

0:50:48 > 0:50:57disappointing end for her. Korean

0:50:57 > 0:51:06-- Perrine Laffont, the French skier, the champion. The four years

0:51:06 > 0:51:09ago champion at Silver to her collection and Yulia Galysheva in

0:51:09 > 0:51:16her third Olympic, forth, sorry, Winter Olympic Games, gets her first

0:51:16 > 0:51:22medal. Just beginning to sink in for Laffont. Justine Dufour-Lapointe is

0:51:22 > 0:51:25happy enough with her silver because recent form has not been as good as

0:51:25 > 0:51:32it has been when she won in Sochi four years ago. A good day for the

0:51:32 > 0:51:36Canadians here at Phoenix Park, two medals in the men's slip style and

0:51:36 > 0:51:43now a medal in the women's moguls. But the night belongs to Perrine

0:51:43 > 0:51:47Laffont, who becomes the first Frenchwoman ever to win the Olympic

0:51:47 > 0:51:53moguls.

0:51:53 > 0:51:58STUDIO: fabulous scenes at the women's moguls. It's been a day for

0:51:58 > 0:52:02the teenagers, after Red Gerard, the 17-year-old, won the slopestyle

0:52:02 > 0:52:07men's, now 19-year-old Perrine Laffont wins France's first medal of

0:52:07 > 0:52:13the Olympics. Real drama right till the end, we'll have a look at what

0:52:13 > 0:52:18went wrong with Andi Naude. But you got to be in perfect control but

0:52:18 > 0:52:23when you push it to the end as she did, it can go horribly wrong. It's

0:52:23 > 0:52:28so brutal, she was standing and she knew the girls had laid down great

0:52:28 > 0:52:33runs, she had to push it, perfect air at the top and then her legs

0:52:33 > 0:52:39split, and when there is a huge mogul in between, no coming back.

0:52:39 > 0:52:42Really great scenes here, and emotional win from the youngster.

0:52:42 > 0:52:47Another 19-year-old. The teams are killing it!Your knees go in your

0:52:47 > 0:52:5220s, that's white you can't do it any more! She always looked like she

0:52:52 > 0:52:56did not believe it happened. How much of an advantage is it to go

0:52:56 > 0:53:00early? You're building up and then the last one knows what you need to

0:53:00 > 0:53:02beat but you're standing up there and waiting and getting more

0:53:02 > 0:53:06nervous.I think it's horrible to be the last athlete at the top because

0:53:06 > 0:53:12everyone has gone. The service men, the technician, the physios, it's

0:53:12 > 0:53:15just you standing there in your bubble. She would have known she

0:53:15 > 0:53:21would have had to charge it.Laffont went right in the middle. You can

0:53:21 > 0:53:26see that course, the little bits of branch that on there, a bit like on

0:53:26 > 0:53:30the landing areas for the ski jump, are they to make sure that they can

0:53:30 > 0:53:34see definition in the snow?As we saw, the light deteriorated and

0:53:34 > 0:53:39division were difficult so they put little bits of leaf and branch their

0:53:39 > 0:53:43so you can see where the moguls and the divots are so the girls can

0:53:43 > 0:53:48choose their line.Let's look at the gold medal winning run and talk

0:53:48 > 0:53:49through it.

0:53:53 > 0:54:01She really went for it, nice and tidy out of the start, her legs pen

0:54:01 > 0:54:07underneath her. A great jump and she got into it, tight lines, her legs

0:54:07 > 0:54:10squeezed together and her knees together, and look at the pace on

0:54:10 > 0:54:15this. She was flying down the middle section. From here, this is where

0:54:15 > 0:54:20she took the gold today, into this air time. Beautiful air, we thought

0:54:20 > 0:54:24the legs split on take-off, but she pulled it back together. And most of

0:54:24 > 0:54:29them when they finish their run, they start celebrating, celebrating

0:54:29 > 0:54:33to influence the judges but she didn't?No, she's so and young and

0:54:33 > 0:54:37she left it all on the hill. We hope that the judges aren't affected by

0:54:37 > 0:54:41the emotions that they see, but look at that cross in the air. Super

0:54:41 > 0:54:52high, great skiing. Lovely airtime. It's waited 60% on the turns and 20%

0:54:52 > 0:54:56on speed, super fast through the run but it was her turns that did it.

0:54:56 > 0:55:02Going in reverse order, the one skier who knew that she couldn't

0:55:02 > 0:55:08take -- could take gold was Andi Naude, she looked tense. It

0:55:08 > 0:55:12individual, she looks focused, tens, if she would have had the run of her

0:55:12 > 0:55:15life we would have said that she was gunning for it. A little smoke low

0:55:15 > 0:55:19before the first bump so the river not there from the start. Beautiful

0:55:19 > 0:55:24airtime but this is wrote goes wrong. The legs split, she gets it

0:55:24 > 0:55:30back and loses it again, varies hard to stay in the present present. She

0:55:30 > 0:55:34would have known it was out and you can see her reaction at the finish.

0:55:34 > 0:55:38Such shame of something like this happens when you know that there's a

0:55:38 > 0:55:44big chance for you to grasp, you go it and doddle but you've got to,

0:55:44 > 0:55:48it's the Olympic Games, it's the pinnacle and it means so much so you

0:55:48 > 0:55:56go health 11, win or crash out.-- you go hell for leather. It's the

0:55:56 > 0:55:57winner who's in their head

0:55:57 > 0:55:57you go hell for leather. It's the winner who's in their head and

0:55:57 > 0:56:01holding it together. You're the last session at the top, you know what

0:56:01 > 0:56:04performance you need to do, so kids what's in between your ears that

0:56:04 > 0:56:10will hold it together for you to win and lose.Hazel will take through

0:56:10 > 0:56:19the rest of the afternoon, men's louche...--

0:56:19 > 0:56:24yes, and Justine Dufour-Lapointe was 19 when she won four years ago and

0:56:24 > 0:56:32now replaced by another 19-year-old so the demographic going here. The

0:56:32 > 0:56:40kids are all right Read.We should get our little ones to do it!They

0:56:40 > 0:56:46are too mental, these sports. They will be like them am!-- like their

0:56:46 > 0:56:51mothers. Magnificently bonkers, we are going to go back to the Sliding

0:56:51 > 0:56:58Centre. I don't know how well you speak German.

0:56:59 > 0:57:01Whilst its not a prerequisite for success, it appears to matter.

0:57:01 > 0:57:04Because Germany has claimed almost two thirds of all the luge golds

0:57:04 > 0:57:07in the Games to date.

0:57:07 > 0:57:09And one of their own, Felix Loch,

0:57:09 > 0:57:12is in pole position once more going into the fourth and final run

0:57:12 > 0:57:13today.

0:57:13 > 0:57:19Here's the story so far.

0:57:22 > 0:57:25Felix Loch has won the last two Olympic games, straight into the

0:57:25 > 0:57:32lead here.

0:57:32 > 0:57:38lead here. Roman Repilov, 21-year-old. Really good first run.

0:57:40 > 0:57:49There we go, he nips himself heads of Loch. Can he back that up with

0:57:49 > 0:58:00another flying around? -- flying run. Roman Repilov, this is

0:58:00 > 0:58:04exciting, she has closed the gap at a terrible mistake late on! If ever

0:58:04 > 0:58:10you could put your money on somebody to deliver, it's this German. That

0:58:10 > 0:58:16is all about applying pressure. The defending Olympic champion in a

0:58:16 > 0:58:21wonderful position now. This is the standard-bearer. One of the greatest

0:58:21 > 0:58:28we've seen. And that is the quickest of his three runs so far. David

0:58:28 > 0:58:34Gleirscher has lacked consistency. Let's see what they to hold. Slower

0:58:34 > 0:58:41than Loch, and a big mistake coming out of the part of the track that

0:58:41 > 0:58:48they refer to as the Dragons tale, the dragon bit him. Next, Chris

0:58:48 > 0:58:53Mazdzer for the United States. Great finish.

0:58:53 > 0:59:01For many years, it was Germany's best loved George Hackel, who was

0:59:01 > 0:59:07the best solution. Today is the double defending champion Felix Loch

0:59:07 > 0:59:14who has a great chance to match George tackle, three in a row. Super

0:59:14 > 0:59:20excited about another chance to see the Sliding Centre because you fly

0:59:20 > 0:59:27other tomorrow. Let's remind you of what it's like.

0:59:31 > 0:59:36Its 1.3, tours of twists and turns and speeds of up to 90 miles an

0:59:36 > 0:59:40hour. This is the fastest of the sliding sports and the only sport to

0:59:40 > 0:59:46be measured in thousandths of a second. Felix Loch is playing a

0:59:46 > 0:59:52waiting game because the fastest goes last. John Jackson is alongside

0:59:52 > 0:59:55John Hunt.

0:59:55 > 0:59:58goes last. John Jackson is alongside John Hunt. COMMENTATOR: Enthusiastic

0:59:58 > 1:00:02crowds packed in. We are about to get going in the fourth and final

1:00:02 > 1:00:08run, just the top 20 going here. We will see in a few moments time if

1:00:08 > 1:00:13Felix Loch can replicate what the great Georg Hackl did for Germany

1:00:13 > 1:00:22and win three gold medals. Before we get down to the medal chase, and the

1:00:22 > 1:00:28medal chase is potentially fantastic for bronze and silver, and who knows

1:00:28 > 1:00:32if Loch has an aberration for gold as well perhaps but he is in pole

1:00:32 > 1:00:38position. The top 20 will go in reverse order for this final run to

1:00:38 > 1:00:49the medals. Maybe give us some insight in is to have you feel on

1:00:49 > 1:00:54your fourth run when you've a chance of a medal.It's about clearing your

1:00:54 > 1:00:59mind and looking at how you can maintain that calm state you need to

1:00:59 > 1:01:04be in to do your job. When you're going down the track everything

1:01:04 > 1:01:08should be automatic. You shouldn't be overthinking things and trying

1:01:08 > 1:01:12too hard. This is what some of these guys have been doing. It's all about

1:01:12 > 1:01:26mental preparation at this point. For people joining us for the first

1:01:26 > 1:01:32time, obviously when we get other luge sliders down the hill, their

1:01:32 > 1:01:37position will be relative to the one that went before them. We'll see the

1:01:37 > 1:01:43lead changing throughout much of the next 20 minutes. He's going to be

1:01:43 > 1:01:47the first person down so he'll be in the lead at the bottom. Great

1:01:47 > 1:01:52straight, he's got his eye in there. The clock on the bottom right hand

1:01:52 > 1:01:56side will either be green or red once they get down the bottom. If it

1:01:56 > 1:02:04greens it means he's in front, if it's read it means they are behind.

1:02:05 > 1:02:14Excellent run. Quicker than his third run the Kurowski. Don't pay

1:02:14 > 1:02:19too much attention to that, that's going to change almost run by

1:02:19 > 1:02:24runner. Bonds up the Kurowski. Lovely and smooth. Quickest run of

1:02:24 > 1:02:29his Olympic Games. That was the best as well, the tidiest run out of all

1:02:29 > 1:02:34of them. If he'd been able to have back consistency over the four runs

1:02:34 > 1:02:38he might be a bit further up the field. It wasn't a bad run.

1:02:38 > 1:02:43Everything was where it should be. His best Olympics, his third

1:02:43 > 1:02:50Olympics. He has bettered what he did at both Sochi and Vancouver when

1:02:50 > 1:02:54he was 23rd. For the moment he moves into the position reserved for the

1:02:54 > 1:03:03leader. There's the Americans support, vocal. Chris Mazdzer

1:03:03 > 1:03:07currently in the silver medal position. Taylor Morris for America,

1:03:07 > 1:03:14his first Olympic Games. 19th in the world rankings. Serving in the Army,

1:03:14 > 1:03:20he's 26. Let's see what he's got on his fourth and final run. He seems

1:03:20 > 1:03:26to be edging left as he pushes away. He's giving it 110%. The crowd are

1:03:26 > 1:03:31trying to get behind him, just to give him that bit extra at the top.

1:03:31 > 1:03:38He just needs to make sure he's got a nice smooth run. The clock is read

1:03:38 > 1:03:44which means he

1:03:44 > 1:03:51which means he is 29 thousand behind. A little touch there,

1:03:51 > 1:03:55hopefully that won't cost into much. He'll have to do a bit more as he

1:03:55 > 1:04:12comes into 12. He's now in the lead. He's just a little bit quicker. The

1:04:12 > 1:04:20moment Morris the lead. At the moment Taylor Morris for America

1:04:20 > 1:04:24takes over. This will be a familiar pattern. We'll have quite a few new

1:04:24 > 1:04:31leaders as we go along.Definitely. Hopefully every guy will come down

1:04:31 > 1:04:42in front of the other one, but that's not always the case. They'll

1:04:42 > 1:04:46split by 66 thousandths of a second. This is what makes ice sport so

1:04:46 > 1:05:02second, it comes down to thousandths of a second. We now focus on the man

1:05:02 > 1:05:06starting in 18th position, this is Inars Kivlenieks. He's at his third

1:05:06 > 1:05:16Olympic Games. He's waiting to go. He represents Latvia.

1:05:16 > 1:05:19He represents Latvia. Latvia's president is commentating on the two

1:05:19 > 1:05:23Latvians in this final run. If he's good you're in trouble, they are

1:05:23 > 1:05:33going to sign him up!Maybe I'll ask for aid to -- ask for a few tips! He

1:05:33 > 1:05:39comes down into this corner as he builds up speed into the middle part

1:05:39 > 1:05:47of the track. As he's in seven now, the middle portion diving down into

1:05:47 > 1:05:50nine, I don't know if that little slide will cost ten... You can see

1:05:50 > 1:05:59it has. It is ebbing away at his speed, thousandths by thousandths...

1:05:59 > 1:06:03He's coming onto the exit and he's still not got the speed to try and

1:06:03 > 1:06:14overtake the American.Kivlenieks finishes, and a

1:06:14 > 1:06:17finishes, and a disappointment for him. Kivlenieks doesn't manage to go

1:06:17 > 1:06:26past either Morris or Kurowski. Taylor Morris up to 18th.He had to

1:06:26 > 1:06:32be right on point there. It's moved him back into what would be 20th

1:06:32 > 1:06:37place and he's right at the bottom of the top 20 at the moment. That's

1:06:37 > 1:06:44because the other guys are slowso close. The start saw a gap of 1.8

1:06:44 > 1:06:54seconds from these guys we've watched now to Loch in gold medal

1:06:54 > 1:07:06position at the moment. Austrian is next up. They've got three in this

1:07:06 > 1:07:12top 20, Egger next. Their big hope at the moment is David Gleirscher

1:07:12 > 1:07:16who is in the bronze medal position at the moment. Away goes Egger who

1:07:16 > 1:07:25starts 1.2 seconds Hynde Felix Loch. A second of bronze medal at the

1:07:25 > 1:07:30moment -- 1.2 seconds behind Felix Loch.What he's got now is a big

1:07:30 > 1:07:34lead over the guys that have just gone down. It's not about the three

1:07:34 > 1:07:39guys that have already gone down, it's not about the American, it's

1:07:39 > 1:07:43about trying to pull himself back up towards the top ten and trying to

1:07:43 > 1:07:48create less of a gap in case they make a mistake. That was a great

1:07:48 > 1:07:54straight. Into 12, you can hear everything smooth. A bit long on 13.

1:07:54 > 1:08:02This is a good run from him and one of his best so far.Egger coming

1:08:02 > 1:08:12down strongly. He adults first place just for the moment. The Austrians

1:08:12 > 1:08:24feeling happy. A final wave their from Taylor Morris.

1:08:24 > 1:08:27from Taylor Morris. You can hear him and see him waving to his fan club

1:08:27 > 1:08:32there, here the horn blowers again and the cowbells. They are all in

1:08:32 > 1:08:37there trying to get behind their athletes that they support. It's

1:08:37 > 1:08:44great to be part of it as a supporter, family friends,

1:08:45 > 1:08:47supporter, family friends, just a brilliant atmosphere to get caught

1:08:47 > 1:08:52up in.You can see as soon as they come down, they want to get a warm

1:08:52 > 1:08:59kit on. It's -12 there at the moment.Do you sense the nature of

1:08:59 > 1:09:03the track changing?Because of the temperature and getting colder as we

1:09:03 > 1:09:07get later on into the night, the ice is getting harder and it might be

1:09:07 > 1:09:13making the track a little more different to get the right lines

1:09:13 > 1:09:20that you want.

1:09:20 > 1:09:23that you want. This is for Canada, Mitchel Malyk. He's done really well

1:09:23 > 1:09:29to get himself a top 20 position, can he improve a few notches now? He

1:09:29 > 1:09:33starts this fourth and final run in 16th place. The lines are good at

1:09:33 > 1:09:40the top of the track, he's using the corners to push him over into the

1:09:40 > 1:09:44next one and trying to use the track to do the work for him. This is

1:09:44 > 1:09:51where the sled starts to accelerate. Can he get the straight? Inch

1:09:51 > 1:09:55perfect, you heard him have to turn the sled quite hard at the beginning

1:09:55 > 1:10:02of 12. Will that cost him? He's starting to drop off again because

1:10:02 > 1:10:05of that entrance into 12 and having to work so hard on the steering. The

1:10:05 > 1:10:15time has gone red. He's just slower than Egger. Egger remains top at the

1:10:15 > 1:10:23moment. Wings are building up really nice lead to a Christian day. --

1:10:23 > 1:10:30things are building to a crescendo. 19 thousandths of a second, that's

1:10:30 > 1:10:36all it is. This is so close this racing over nearly four miles of

1:10:36 > 1:10:40ice. This is what makes the sport is great. When we get down to the

1:10:40 > 1:10:53medals, they will be decided by thousandths of a second.

1:10:53 > 1:11:05Egger is now going to get some pressure from a familiar man.

1:11:05 > 1:11:10Emanuel Rieder.

1:11:12 > 1:11:20Emanuel Rieder. Pavlichenko is next after Emanuel Rieder for Italy.

1:11:20 > 1:11:26after Emanuel Rieder for Italy. A big night for Italian luge. Rieder

1:11:26 > 1:11:31is on his way.He was a bit uneasy at the start there. He had a bit of

1:11:31 > 1:11:36a twitch. Maybe he was trying too hard... He's got good speed. It

1:11:36 > 1:11:41sounds like he's cutting ice a bit as he's trying to find the line. Now

1:11:41 > 1:11:48he's dropping down the line is good. That looks good, he's got a good

1:11:48 > 1:11:53entrance which means he can carry good speed through this next section

1:11:53 > 1:11:59of the track. As he comes round into the speed trap right on the exit.

1:11:59 > 1:12:05129 speed, that's good, that 80 miles an hour plus.Lets see how he

1:12:05 > 1:12:10finishes. Smooth off the final turn but sadly for him, slower than

1:12:10 > 1:12:20Egger. The Italian coach watches on. He won six medals at six different

1:12:20 > 1:12:24games, it's hard to get your head around.It is a phenomenal

1:12:24 > 1:12:33achievement. Being to six games is an achievement in itself, never mind

1:12:33 > 1:12:38getting an Olympic medal and being an Olympic champion too. It shows

1:12:38 > 1:12:42the calibre of the slider he was. It will be interesting to see what

1:12:42 > 1:12:45funding the Italians keep in their programme because potentially they

1:12:45 > 1:12:49aren't going to get a medal for the first time in six Olympic Games.

1:12:49 > 1:12:56Maybe they've got targets that these younger sliders need to hit. That's

1:12:56 > 1:13:02our first six in our run of 20. Now there's a certain upping in

1:13:02 > 1:13:05temperature because Pavlichenko was well clear, seven tenths of a

1:13:05 > 1:13:13second, than any of those ahead of him. We've got a really interesting

1:13:13 > 1:13:19next section as well. Pavlichenko underway. The reigning European

1:13:19 > 1:13:23champion, to this point disappointing, but clearly he's

1:13:23 > 1:13:28going to take the lead unless he has a disastrous run.He did have a

1:13:28 > 1:13:32disastrous run on the first run, he was first out of the blocks and

1:13:32 > 1:13:36maybe the nerves got to him a bit. A slider of his quality shouldn't have

1:13:36 > 1:13:43made the mistake he did. He's using Bend seven and using eight to get

1:13:43 > 1:13:48well across into nine. That tap is potentially going to cost him. He

1:13:48 > 1:13:53hasn't got the speed of the slide in front of him. Is he going to hold

1:13:53 > 1:13:58on? This is going to come down to thousandths of a second. He's going

1:13:58 > 1:14:03to lose the speed he needs to cross the line in front.Extraordinary if

1:14:03 > 1:14:11he can't get past Egger. He has, just by six hundredths. That should

1:14:11 > 1:14:14have been more authoritative from Pavlichenko 's.It should have been.

1:14:14 > 1:14:22That little mistake, that little tap on the right-hand wall, Surrey, left

1:14:22 > 1:14:27and wall as you're looking at it. He needed to turn a bit more as he came

1:14:27 > 1:14:31into 12. He knows he's a bit close, just tries to come away from the

1:14:31 > 1:14:35wall. Not as bad as what we've seen before. You can see him using his

1:14:35 > 1:14:43top leg to control the sled. Disappointment for the Austrian but

1:14:43 > 1:14:49that's how close it is.Pavlichenko takes the spot at the moment. Next

1:14:49 > 1:15:00up will be another Olympic Athlete from

1:15:01 > 1:15:10Russia double starts this final run -- Stepan Fedorov starts this six

1:15:10 > 1:15:14tenths of a second off the bronze medal. He's got to hope for the

1:15:14 > 1:15:17best.

1:15:17 > 1:15:20He will be focused on to staying in front of his team-mate.He's got a

1:15:20 > 1:15:26big lead, 26 hundredths, unless he makes a big mistake, he should stay

1:15:26 > 1:15:30in front because he should not throw the gap away will stop especially

1:15:30 > 1:15:35when his team-mate make a mistake. That gap starting to grow and that

1:15:35 > 1:15:40will be relevant to the start. A little bit high there, just missing

1:15:40 > 1:15:45the steering point. A little but slightly, will he get through? He

1:15:45 > 1:15:49hasn't got the speed of his team-mate because he came into 12

1:15:49 > 1:15:55late and he had to turn this lead to hard. That entrants is killer for

1:15:55 > 1:16:06speed.Fedorov will complete his run, taking the lead from Semen

1:16:06 > 1:16:15Pavlichenko. He has beaten him by two tenths of a second. The IOC

1:16:15 > 1:16:19president is watching along with everybody else. Clearly that time

1:16:19 > 1:16:25that's ticking around, the combined four run time. Interesting to note

1:16:25 > 1:16:31when we get to the real top men, will keen to see them go on an

1:16:31 > 1:16:37individual run,

1:16:37 > 1:16:42individual run, 47.5 minimum, 47.4 if they want to be in the medals.

1:16:42 > 1:16:45It's great to see Thomas patch, the president of the IOC to see the

1:16:45 > 1:16:52first medals being presented -- Thomas Bach, see the first medals

1:16:52 > 1:16:58presented at the Olympia Sliding Centre. So, there's one of the older

1:16:58 > 1:17:04competitors, Stepan Fedorov.

1:17:04 > 1:17:07competitors, Stepan Fedorov. Being replaced now by Reid Watts, the

1:17:07 > 1:17:1519-year-old is on his Olympic debut. Starting this final run in 12th,

1:17:15 > 1:17:22Betty can barely believe it. He has been pretty class and wishing well.

1:17:22 > 1:17:27For such a young athlete at this level, the youngest athlete in the

1:17:27 > 1:17:31field, certainly the youngest athlete in the field of 20 that are

1:17:31 > 1:17:35currently sliding, he's one of the most impressive sliders I've seen

1:17:35 > 1:17:38all week just because of his level of experience and what he's

1:17:38 > 1:17:45achieved. You can hear the sled sliding around and cutting the ice

1:17:45 > 1:17:48on the bigger corners. Maybe he's focused more on the people in front

1:17:48 > 1:17:53of him rather than settling into his run. That was inch perfect. We have

1:17:53 > 1:17:57not seen many sleds like that down the straight but he has not got the

1:17:57 > 1:18:01speed he needs because he's been working too hard. The entrance to 12

1:18:01 > 1:18:10paid off well.Great through the chicane and he grew the advantage

1:18:10 > 1:18:15there at the right time over Stepan Fedorov and he punches the air. He

1:18:15 > 1:18:22can say he Olympic games field, only for another three or four minutes

1:18:22 > 1:18:29maybe but great week's work for him. That's great consistency for such a

1:18:29 > 1:18:34young slider, to be only 15 hundredths between all of his runs,

1:18:34 > 1:18:39a great job and that shows he's got plenty of potential for future

1:18:39 > 1:18:47Olympic Games.Just three hundredths of a second behind him is the next

1:18:47 > 1:18:52man out, which is Wolfgang Kindl, the world champion, to follow him.

1:18:52 > 1:18:58Well done, we have enjoyed watching him this week. He is ranked 30 in

1:18:58 > 1:19:03the world so to come to an Olympic Games and do that is fantastic.

1:19:03 > 1:19:09Without doubt, for such a young slider, that's great. And to be him

1:19:09 > 1:19:13in a race against the world champion and fighting for spots against the

1:19:13 > 1:19:18world champion shows the calibre that he has.Wolfgang Kindl, and

1:19:18 > 1:19:24only expected so much from, starts his pursuit of an Olympic hurdle in

1:19:24 > 1:19:3311th place. Surely too much to do. Let's see if he can improve his

1:19:33 > 1:19:39small margin over Watts and he has done so.This is where Watts was

1:19:39 > 1:19:44just a little bit more noisy at the top of the track, you could hear his

1:19:44 > 1:19:48sled sliding around on the ice, sliding across it rather than

1:19:48 > 1:19:51cutting through it. He had a perfect straight as well but he will carry

1:19:51 > 1:19:56more speed, a little bit quicker than the previous slider through

1:19:56 > 1:20:00this point and you can see he's pulling away. This is the experience

1:20:00 > 1:20:05between

1:20:05 > 1:20:09between him and the previous slider, well over a pity mother now.-- 82

1:20:09 > 1:20:15miles an hour. That was very classy, his timing gap grew to three tenths

1:20:15 > 1:20:21of a second. Wolfgang Kindl, his best Olympic Games finish has been

1:20:21 > 1:20:26ninth, he's given himself the chance of improving upon that here. You can

1:20:26 > 1:20:35see the difference in the quality of the run, he hasn't set a new record.

1:20:35 > 1:20:39He's trying to put pressure on the guys behind him to at least move

1:20:39 > 1:20:45into the top ten or top eight and see how many eating get past but

1:20:45 > 1:20:47that was perfect. Not many people have been able to do that

1:20:47 > 1:20:53consistently through the four runs. Kindl leads for the moment, and that

1:20:53 > 1:20:5947.5 figure if the figure you need to apply pressure which is all you

1:20:59 > 1:21:05need to do as the countdown towards the medallists. Andi Langenhan next,

1:21:05 > 1:21:17going for Germany. He is the 11th one to go. Here he goes. A mixed bag

1:21:17 > 1:21:23at his start so far this week, again starting with this small advantage

1:21:23 > 1:21:30over Kindl who would be doing very well if he can stay ahead.A little

1:21:30 > 1:21:36bit of a mistake there, he came into a run late so he had to turn harder

1:21:36 > 1:21:40and into two, not quite right. His time might start dropping away as he

1:21:40 > 1:21:45moves down the track. We will see what it's like at the next. Working

1:21:45 > 1:21:54hard to try and keep the sled straight but he has good speed. This

1:21:54 > 1:21:58is about the equipment down the fastest part and you can see how

1:21:58 > 1:22:05much better the other slider was and how much more speed he has.

1:22:05 > 1:22:11Unfortunately, it wasn't working for him.Not very often we see that in a

1:22:11 > 1:22:17German slider but that didn't work. He's waving to the crowd but Kindl

1:22:17 > 1:22:22still the man at the moment, the world champion. So much will happen

1:22:22 > 1:22:31over the next ten minutes, though.I think that run from Kindl will move

1:22:31 > 1:22:38him up a few spots. Nothing really much wrong with the run, but nothing

1:22:38 > 1:22:42really wrong apart from a few bits. The run from Kindl was so much

1:22:42 > 1:22:52better. You can see the overlay, how Kindl is pulling away. That's actual

1:22:52 > 1:22:57real-time footage of how fast he is on that corner. That is a great

1:22:57 > 1:23:04graphics, really sets it up crystal clear. This is a youngster who's had

1:23:04 > 1:23:12a great week. Kristers Aparjods from Latvia. Only ten to 20 at the end of

1:23:12 > 1:23:22the month. -- turned 20. And he is ninth on his final push away. He has

1:23:22 > 1:23:28had a great week. And it's great to see that youngsters like this guy

1:23:28 > 1:23:32here and the Canadian, and other youngsters within the field, are

1:23:32 > 1:23:36doing so well against these experienced pilots. A little mistake

1:23:36 > 1:23:40out of two, pushing him later into three and working harder.

1:23:40 > 1:23:44Interesting to see whether he can keep that nine hundredths of the

1:23:44 > 1:23:47second as he comes down to the important corner, number nine and

1:23:47 > 1:23:54into 12. A bit too early, he's holding on but he's working too hard

1:23:54 > 1:23:58and into a skid, he has no speed in that corner at all and I think we'll

1:23:58 > 1:24:05see him drop back right away. It's turned into the red.He started off

1:24:05 > 1:24:08four tenths of a second behind the medallists so he's not going

1:24:08 > 1:24:14through, and he now crosses the line. Not good enough, looking for

1:24:14 > 1:24:2047.4. The Latvian coach looked disappointed but he is accounted

1:24:20 > 1:24:27kid, we will hear a lot more about him.It was just that little mistake

1:24:27 > 1:24:31down the straight, it looked good and then he just drifted away and he

1:24:31 > 1:24:36had to work harder in the initial part of 12. This was the mistake at

1:24:36 > 1:24:42the top, you just see him get pushed away a little bit which means he's

1:24:42 > 1:24:46got to work harder. He drove the top of the track relatively well but in

1:24:46 > 1:24:52this big corner, his line was not as straight, working hard and all that

1:24:52 > 1:24:58extra work has thrown tenths away and he's ended up in third.Kindl

1:24:58 > 1:25:02still in the frame. Now this exciting youngster from the Olympic

1:25:02 > 1:25:06athlete of Russia team, the most exciting youngster in the world,

1:25:06 > 1:25:12arguably, 21-year-old Roman Repilov who went for it in the third runner.

1:25:12 > 1:25:16And he paid the penalty. He was undone and his medal chance went

1:25:16 > 1:25:23there and then.It certainly did, he was set in bronze position and we

1:25:23 > 1:25:28said he was either going to win it or bin it, and he lost it into the

1:25:28 > 1:25:34corner 12 where he had a big slide so he down in a position he is

1:25:34 > 1:25:38rather than fighting for a medal. These are the lives he expect from a

1:25:38 > 1:25:44quality slider, he's been good all week, some of the great slides the

1:25:44 > 1:25:54scene. He hasn't got the speed of Kindl so this is where... He could

1:25:54 > 1:25:58be just in front of the Austrian. This is going to be close, down to

1:25:58 > 1:26:09the wire. He whole song by 20 51 thousandths of a second.We remind

1:26:09 > 1:26:16you that we time things by thousands of a second here, there was a dead

1:26:16 > 1:26:21heat in the 70s and they have measured it since then. Repilov take

1:26:21 > 1:26:30the mantle of Kindl at the moment. Seven to go, it's getting exciting.

1:26:30 > 1:26:37This young lad here has got so much potential for the future. It's all

1:26:37 > 1:26:39about the consistency over the four runs, and I know we have spoken

1:26:39 > 1:26:47about that over the course of the runs themselves but the guys in the

1:26:47 > 1:26:54middle condition that the medal positions are consistent. If you are

1:26:54 > 1:26:57consistent over your four runs, you always have a chance of being in a

1:26:57 > 1:27:05medal position. Now, Dominik Fischnaller. The two Fischnaller

1:27:05 > 1:27:12cousins in the top seven here heading into the medal runner.

1:27:12 > 1:27:17Dominik Fischnaller, policeman, won the test event here last spring and

1:27:17 > 1:27:24he now needs a big one. Repilov's superiority over him confirmed in

1:27:24 > 1:27:29the early stages, not a great start. That's just down to his physicality.

1:27:29 > 1:27:35There's nothing in it, 31 thousandths of a second. -- three

1:27:35 > 1:27:41thousandths of a second. Before this race, he was the track record holder

1:27:41 > 1:27:45from the Olympic test event so we know he can drive this track. A

1:27:45 > 1:27:53slightly better line into corner 12. He's added another 500 on that, he's

1:27:53 > 1:27:58got better speed and better lines down the bottom of the track. It'll

1:27:58 > 1:28:07be tight between the two of them. Attempted a second,

1:28:07 > 1:28:08Attempted a second, nearly two tenths, Fischnaller assumes the

1:28:08 > 1:28:15lead. Six to go.This is about potentially trying to put yourself

1:28:15 > 1:28:23into a medal position, 47.40. He has the position to be in the medals but

1:28:23 > 1:28:26he has made so many mistakes he's in the position that he is in, not at

1:28:26 > 1:28:34the front.47.4 is all you can ask in the final round, I wonder how

1:28:34 > 1:28:40many more we will see. Certainly the next three to go will need that sort

1:28:40 > 1:28:51of final run time to apply pressure on the medallists who, at the

1:28:51 > 1:28:57moment, David Gleirscher, Chris Mazdzer, and Felix Loch. What a way

1:28:57 > 1:29:06to end your career. The Samuel Edney, his final ever run. He has

1:29:06 > 1:29:11had the Olympics of his dreams, Sam. Never been better than seventh in an

1:29:11 > 1:29:18Olympic games, can he put some pressure on? He needs that 47.4,

1:29:18 > 1:29:2447.5 at the very least to be able to be a contender.Great start, these

1:29:24 > 1:29:28camera shots are great at the top of this track. You can see how hard

1:29:28 > 1:29:32they're working to stay among the first bend. A good line, using the

1:29:32 > 1:29:36corners to push himself onto the next and the track to his advantage

1:29:36 > 1:29:42to get the lines that he wants.

1:29:42 > 1:29:46This is where the track starts to accelerate. It looks like it's good

1:29:46 > 1:29:51from that position and that is perfect. He's got no speed according

1:29:51 > 1:29:58to the view. He is falling away so he could be driving the track a bit

1:29:58 > 1:30:05too hard and forcing the lines. He's got good speed up the bottom...I do

1:30:05 > 1:30:14think it's going to be a dream and the Edney. He catches Fischnaller,

1:30:14 > 1:30:22but he stays ahead of Edney. Edney just outside where he needed.

1:30:22 > 1:30:28Farewell to Sam. Last time we see him on the world stage. He's had a

1:30:28 > 1:30:35great career, and his best ever achievement here, where every he

1:30:35 > 1:30:40finishes this afternoon. What's interesting, we can see on the

1:30:40 > 1:30:45screen is the snow is starting to fall. If it starts to blow into the

1:30:45 > 1:30:50track, especially on some of the straights alike through the chicane

1:30:50 > 1:30:55from nine to 12, even if it's just a light film of snow, it can make the

1:30:55 > 1:31:01ice really greasy and some of the threads could be a bit more twitchy.

1:31:01 > 1:31:11Johannes Ludwig next for Germany. Ludwig at his first Olympic Games.

1:31:11 > 1:31:22David Mueller the first German in Sochi. Currently ranked five in the

1:31:22 > 1:31:28world. Ludwig is on his way. He's two tenths of a second off the

1:31:28 > 1:31:35bronze medal so he definitely needs 47.4 ideally.What it's about now is

1:31:35 > 1:31:39staying in front of the person that's just gone down. Don't worry

1:31:39 > 1:31:43too much about the medals... That was a little mistake but I don't

1:31:43 > 1:31:48know if it will cost him too much time. As he builds speed, he needs

1:31:48 > 1:31:54to get this right. That's amazing, the speed he's got there, he should

1:31:54 > 1:32:01keep in front. He's definitely got the right lines but it is dropping

1:32:01 > 1:32:07away slightly. Is this enough as he comes up the hill to stay in front

1:32:07 > 1:32:15of Fischnaller?It's so tight... He's done it, ahead of Fischnaller

1:32:15 > 1:32:20by two thousandths per second. I like the way the previous athletes

1:32:20 > 1:32:26are staying together now. Ludwig goes to the front ahead of

1:32:26 > 1:32:31Fischnaller by a whisker.He stays in front but I don't think that's

1:32:31 > 1:32:35enough. He needed to move towards the medals, not move back towards

1:32:35 > 1:32:42the people behind him. He's still in front, great job, but that little

1:32:42 > 1:32:46mistake there is potentially what cost him. He's fighting the sled in

1:32:46 > 1:32:53the straight to make sure he was in the right position.Four to go. And

1:32:53 > 1:32:58you think these four are going to be the medallists. One of them is going

1:32:58 > 1:33:05to miss out, obviously. The other guys congratulate each other.

1:33:07 > 1:33:11Ludwig, Fischnaller, Edney there as the snow seems to be getting

1:33:11 > 1:33:18heavier. Kevin Fischnaller, watching on is his cousin Dominic. In fourth

1:33:18 > 1:33:26place, Kevin Fischnaller about to go for Italy.

1:33:27 > 1:33:30for Italy. This is nervy. Number nine in the world, what a week he's

1:33:30 > 1:33:36had. A good start, he should be capable of holding of Ludwig here.

1:33:36 > 1:33:41This would be a great result for the Italians, regardless of where he

1:33:41 > 1:33:48comes now. To have two sleds in the top seven of the world is a great

1:33:48 > 1:33:52result. His lines don't look too bad but it's whether his equipment is

1:33:52 > 1:33:59going to work. He's dropping back hundredth by hundredth... He didn't

1:33:59 > 1:34:05sound like he had to cut too hard to get on the line. A bit early to bed

1:34:05 > 1:34:09team. The hundredths are ticking away because he's not quite getting

1:34:09 > 1:34:13the entrances and the exits to the corners quite right, but he's got

1:34:13 > 1:34:19good speed. Is a medal is slipping away? It is. It hasn't worked thick

1:34:19 > 1:34:29Kevin Fischnaller. Johann is Ludwig still leads with three to go. Kevin

1:34:29 > 1:34:35Fischnaller looks... Well, he'll be content but that's an opportunity

1:34:35 > 1:34:42slipping by.It certainly is. He's done so well this week and he'll be

1:34:42 > 1:34:47disappointed with that run. It's still a decent result for him, and

1:34:47 > 1:34:52the fact he slid so well, it's the minor changes. Something like this

1:34:52 > 1:34:57will cost him time. He wasn't quite right into the corner with some of

1:34:57 > 1:35:01the entrances. If you don't get you entrance right you are not going to

1:35:01 > 1:35:05get your exit right. You've always got to focus on getting the entrance

1:35:05 > 1:35:11to the corners right. The expression from his cousin Dominic as he came

1:35:11 > 1:35:15down there. Now the medal Chase on. In bronze medal position at the

1:35:15 > 1:35:22moment, David Gleirscher. The surprise package of this men's

1:35:22 > 1:35:27singles Olympic championship. A 23-year-old, number 12 in the world,

1:35:27 > 1:35:34up until this week a pretty inconsistent performer. Capable of

1:35:34 > 1:35:40excellence. His best finish in the World Cup was fourth. He may well be

1:35:40 > 1:35:45getting an Olympic medal in a few seconds time. This is about staying

1:35:45 > 1:35:53in front of the guys who have gone down. He wants the Olympic medal.

1:35:53 > 1:35:58Whether he fights for bronze or silver, he can fight that out at the

1:35:58 > 1:36:01bottom of the track. For the moment he needs to see a number one when he

1:36:01 > 1:36:05comes down to the bottom. A guy of his calibre, there should be no

1:36:05 > 1:36:10reason why not. The way he's been sliding all week, you can see the

1:36:10 > 1:36:15snow on the track. Is this going to play a part in the process of these

1:36:15 > 1:36:20medals in the last few corners? There's a bit more... That's what

1:36:20 > 1:36:23I'm talking about, about how the sled can be a bit more tricky to

1:36:23 > 1:36:29handle in snowy conditions. This is going to be an Olympic medal for

1:36:29 > 1:36:35Austria. This is going to be the bronze medal for Austria at best.

1:36:35 > 1:36:40Gleirscher turns the final corner and he's ahead of Ludwig. Austria

1:36:40 > 1:36:46have their medal for the first time in 2002. Applause all round. Great

1:36:46 > 1:36:50work from David Gleirscher. Not many people would have said that was

1:36:50 > 1:37:00possible. Look at the euphoria! The Austrian is in heaven.

1:37:00 > 1:37:02Austrian is in heaven. You can see is how pleased his team-mates are,

1:37:02 > 1:37:06the people in the crowd getting behind him. This is what the

1:37:06 > 1:37:11Olympics is all about. Everyone has come here for a medal. Only 3% of

1:37:11 > 1:37:17athletes that come to an Olympics ever win a medal.Just astonishing

1:37:17 > 1:37:22from Gleirscher. It might not be over. It's been 50 years since

1:37:22 > 1:37:28Austria won gold. That might be beyond him. Two to go. But look at

1:37:28 > 1:37:33that! What a release of energy. David Gleirscher has had the week of

1:37:33 > 1:37:40dreams. Snow falling heavily now. Chris Mazdzer has also had a

1:37:40 > 1:37:45brilliant week. He's currently in silver position. Don't forget Loch

1:37:45 > 1:37:51is two tenths of a second clear of Mazdzer. Mazdzer now just needs to

1:37:51 > 1:37:59do better than Gleirscher. Chris Mazdzer goes for the United States.

1:37:59 > 1:38:04He will be happy when he gets to the bottom whether he sees a one or two.

1:38:04 > 1:38:08That means he's got an Olympic medal. He'll definitely want the

1:38:08 > 1:38:13silver but he'll be happy either way. You can see how much snow is in

1:38:13 > 1:38:17the track compared to what there was just two minutes ago when the last

1:38:17 > 1:38:20competitor went down. This could affect the way that he comes down

1:38:20 > 1:38:28the straight. That is perfect, what a straight that is. He's got good

1:38:28 > 1:38:32speed... This is definitely going to be a silver medal for the American.

1:38:32 > 1:38:40This is close. It's going to be the thousandths...He's dropping away!

1:38:40 > 1:38:47Lots of speed all the way... Mazdzer can't quite do it. It's a bronze

1:38:47 > 1:38:53medal not silver and Batman, Gleirscher, has got at least a

1:38:53 > 1:38:57silver for Austria. Mazdzer becomes the first American to win a medal at

1:38:57 > 1:39:02the Olympic Games in the men's singles luge. It's not silver but it

1:39:02 > 1:39:08is a bronze. It's a fantastic achievement, two Americans before

1:39:08 > 1:39:14him have finished fourth. Chris Mazdzer now has at least a medal.

1:39:14 > 1:39:22Fantastic stuff. He's done exactly the same as Erin Hamlin did at the

1:39:22 > 1:39:26last Olympics for the women's team. She was the first to win a bronze

1:39:26 > 1:39:29medal outside of the European countries. What a great result for

1:39:29 > 1:39:33the Americans. He just wants to be over there with his team-mates.

1:39:33 > 1:39:38Obviously the Americans love a bit of their flag. He's going over there

1:39:38 > 1:39:42to congratulate. He would be happy with a number one or number two

1:39:42 > 1:39:47because he knows he's got an Olympic medal. Now this is all about Felix

1:39:47 > 1:39:54Loch. Can he keep it together to get this third straight medal?Georg

1:39:54 > 1:40:02Hackl, a great German, the last to win three singles titles. Now at 28,

1:40:02 > 1:40:10Felix Loch, as the snow intensifies, Loch is on his way. Surely a mistake

1:40:10 > 1:40:15free run from Loch will see him win gold? He starts with a two tenths of

1:40:15 > 1:40:21a second advantage ahead of Gleirscher. He's looking clean, he's

1:40:21 > 1:40:27been so is consistent. Surely he's seconds away from gold?Lines are

1:40:27 > 1:40:30smooth. It's interesting how he comes into some of the bigger

1:40:30 > 1:40:35corners, he turns his head into the corner. That is putting pressure on

1:40:35 > 1:40:39the top runner to help him... That's a mistake! Could that be the

1:40:39 > 1:40:44medal... Could that be the three medals he is wanted, the three gold

1:40:44 > 1:40:51medals? Has he got enough speed left?First mistake of the week from

1:40:51 > 1:40:58Loch. It's going to be so tight between himself and Gleirscher! Loch

1:40:58 > 1:41:04has blown it! He hasn't even got a medal and the Austrian team swamp

1:41:04 > 1:41:10David Gleirscher. He becomes the first Austrian in 50 years to win

1:41:10 > 1:41:15gold in the luge. A complete outsider, no one had him down for a

1:41:15 > 1:41:22medal hope let alone gold. Loch with that mistake, a bitter, bitter

1:41:22 > 1:41:31defeat. He can't believe it. Quite extraordinary.His team-mate

1:41:31 > 1:41:36Johannes Ludwig gets the medal. Germany are still on the podium but

1:41:36 > 1:41:40it's not Felix Loch who everybody thought had this in the bag. His

1:41:40 > 1:41:45team-mate picks up the bronze. This is what I was saying about

1:41:45 > 1:41:51potentially the track being a bit different because it is colder, it's

1:41:51 > 1:41:55got snow on the ice. It makes it harder to control the sled. Look at

1:41:55 > 1:41:59the Austrians. They were not expecting this when they came to the

1:41:59 > 1:42:05track this morning.Loch is inconsolable. He cannot believe that

1:42:05 > 1:42:11mistake he made. We'll see how it happened. You can see as he comes

1:42:11 > 1:42:16down, he's trying to adjust and get as close to that wall as possible. A

1:42:16 > 1:42:20centimetre further away and he would have got that. He knows at that

1:42:20 > 1:42:25point that this is a big mistake and his medals have gone.Quite

1:42:25 > 1:42:36extraordinary. He is fallible. Felix Loch beaten. That is how defeat

1:42:36 > 1:42:45tastes. That is how victory feels for David Gleirscher, a 23-year-old

1:42:45 > 1:42:50from Tirol in Austria.

1:42:51 > 1:42:55from Tirol in Austria. As we stay with Loch, huge disappointment,

1:42:55 > 1:43:01crushing disappointment. Gleirscher in the World Cup events this year,

1:43:01 > 1:43:07this winter, finished no better than four. He hasn't even meddled on the

1:43:07 > 1:43:19World Cup seems.Definitely not. This is what these sports are all

1:43:19 > 1:43:23about. These sliding sports are so unpredictable. Just because of the

1:43:23 > 1:43:29nature of the snow and ice. It's not the same as it was in the Summer

1:43:29 > 1:43:32Olympics. These are seasoned professionals but even the best in

1:43:32 > 1:43:38the world which you would still consider Loch as, he's a three-time

1:43:38 > 1:43:45Olympic champion. He can still make mistakes on these tracks.Quite

1:43:45 > 1:43:50incredible. Felix Loch is one mistake of the week, so costly. A

1:43:50 > 1:43:57surprise gold medal for Austria. There is Chris Mazdzer with his

1:43:57 > 1:44:02silver medal. What a resolver the USA, and Germany who have their

1:44:02 > 1:44:09dominance for all to see in this event over many years, a bronze

1:44:09 > 1:44:17medal only for Johannes Ludwig and Loch only fit. -- fifth. Huge

1:44:17 > 1:44:21surprise in the men's singles luge as David Gleirscher wins gold for

1:44:21 > 1:44:24Austria. For the first time in 50 years they go home with the gold

1:44:24 > 1:44:30medal. STUDIO: It goes to prove there is no such thing as a sure

1:44:30 > 1:44:38thing in the Olympic Games. Extraordinary scenes. The first goal

1:44:38 > 1:44:44for Austria in 50 years. There's been no Austrian on the podium since

1:44:44 > 1:44:452002 in Salt

1:44:45 > 1:44:47been no Austrian on the podium since 2002 in Salt Lake City and their

1:44:47 > 1:44:51first champion since 1968! That was a finish, completely unexpected.

1:44:51 > 1:44:57What do you put that down to from the Germans' perspective? He's got

1:44:57 > 1:45:02it. He couldn't even get off the sled. I was shouting at the

1:45:02 > 1:45:07screen... Germany have got four tracks and this is why they are so

1:45:07 > 1:45:14good in the sport, particularly in luge. They have so much technical,

1:45:14 > 1:45:17how good they are technically, their sleds, the equipment, their history.

1:45:17 > 1:45:23It still shows the pressure of an Olympic race. The Austrian had never

1:45:23 > 1:45:26even won a world medal yet he had that outside chance, nothing to

1:45:26 > 1:45:35lose.

1:45:35 > 1:45:38next and the track to his advantage to get the lines that he wants.

1:45:38 > 1:45:43He's a lot on the changing room, you can just see he sees he makes one

1:45:43 > 1:45:49mistake, this track is so unique, it has ups and downs and flat bits.

1:45:49 > 1:45:58This is the key part of the track. In a macro yes, you have got to get

1:45:58 > 1:46:06your ankles, he just clips that and goes in high, he cannot get it back

1:46:06 > 1:46:11on his line. The uphill section, he cannot get the speed back. Once

1:46:11 > 1:46:17you've made the mistake, this track does not forgive. You can see the

1:46:17 > 1:46:22disappointment in his face. It just goes to show, you can have all the

1:46:22 > 1:46:28experience, you can see he's fighting not to skip. Eclipse had by

1:46:28 > 1:46:32a centimetre, a little bit too much to the right, skidding across, clips

1:46:32 > 1:46:39into corner 12, right there, cutting the ice. He took the runners into

1:46:39 > 1:46:44the ice. So he gets a lot of heights on the corner and he cannot get it

1:46:44 > 1:46:48back. Two tenths of the second was his

1:46:48 > 1:46:55margin. He was the second slowest of the top 20 in the forefront and

1:46:55 > 1:47:00almost half a second slower than those available. Incredible, really.

1:47:00 > 1:47:05You look at David Gleirscher, and this is what it's all about in the

1:47:05 > 1:47:09Olympic games. I think when we saw the delight at the possibility of

1:47:09 > 1:47:13having a bronze medal, can you imagine the excitement growing as

1:47:13 > 1:47:18he's waiting in the finishing line? It shows until the last man is down,

1:47:18 > 1:47:22you don't know what medal you get, you can get pumped up. Look at his

1:47:22 > 1:47:29run here. You can see that he is collected on his sled, it's all

1:47:29 > 1:47:33about getting the entrance on the corner and playing with the

1:47:33 > 1:47:36oscillations to get the speed at each corner. But not that a mistake,

1:47:36 > 1:47:43and one point, he put his foot down. That is in the wonky strait of ten

1:47:43 > 1:47:47and 11, had to put his foot down to stop himself hitting the wall which

1:47:47 > 1:47:50was quite a major thing to do but at least he didn't hit the wall which

1:47:50 > 1:47:54would have cost him more time. He was very lucky in that sense. The

1:47:54 > 1:48:01shock and surprise on his face on that run right there, the gold

1:48:01 > 1:48:04medal.Great scenes for the Austrians. At that point they didn't

1:48:04 > 1:48:08know it was going to be cold. In fact, that is the first ever meant's

1:48:08 > 1:48:17luge medal for men in the United States. Chris Mazdzer wedding that.

1:48:17 > 1:48:26Such tiny margins are medals won and lost, there was snow coming down,

1:48:26 > 1:48:31could that have played a part? These tracks are very well covered, if we

1:48:31 > 1:48:34need to protect from the sun and the snow. It had only just started

1:48:34 > 1:48:39falling so it's hard to see from this angle what is going on to the

1:48:39 > 1:48:44track. When you're up on a corner, you're not affected but when you're

1:48:44 > 1:48:47down on those straits, you couldn't see from the naked eye to the TV

1:48:47 > 1:48:51screen if there was much on the ice. But psychologically, that can play

1:48:51 > 1:48:56with your mind and your head, knowing that the more it snows, it

1:48:56 > 1:49:02could be on. That is the mistake you made it the gold away.AG Rosen from

1:49:02 > 1:49:10Great Britain 22nd. It also means that we still have this incredible

1:49:10 > 1:49:16bias where German speakers up concerned, 45 of the 46 gold medals

1:49:16 > 1:49:19won at the Olympics games have been by native German speakers. We've

1:49:19 > 1:49:25been talking about this cultural ingrained element of sport,

1:49:25 > 1:49:30particularly in the regions around one particular area, why is it so

1:49:30 > 1:49:39strong and passionate in that area? Even the Italians can be native

1:49:39 > 1:49:45German speakers.Well, they have got bobsleigh and skeleton and luge

1:49:45 > 1:49:51tracks all over Germany. So that all spread across. They have national

1:49:51 > 1:49:59training centres like we have in the UK, skeleton bobsleigh is in Bath,

1:49:59 > 1:50:03cycling is in Manchester. Most of them are in the military or

1:50:03 > 1:50:07policeman, so fully funded. And they live, eat, breathe, sleep and train

1:50:07 > 1:50:12right there in those centres. In the right environment for it all. That's

1:50:12 > 1:50:17the intensity and then the medals come out of that. They keep on

1:50:17 > 1:50:20coming, not for Germany this time, although they did get the bronze.

1:50:20 > 1:50:24First goals for 50 years for Austria. I know you're heading of

1:50:24 > 1:50:28very shortly at the start the skeleton medals.

1:50:28 > 1:50:32Many of you will be getting in the mood for the Six Nations, Scotland

1:50:32 > 1:50:35against France very shortly. So we thought we'd give you some full body

1:50:35 > 1:50:43contact to get in the mood. Let's go to the women's ice hockey, the top

1:50:43 > 1:50:47seeded group A, where the all conquering Canadians are searching

1:50:47 > 1:50:52for their fifth gold medal on the trot. Today in their first match,

1:50:52 > 1:50:55they are playing the Olympics athletes from Russia. You can't

1:50:55 > 1:51:01really call them team Russia because you know Russia are not officially

1:51:01 > 1:51:03invited. They've been banned. So the niceties of that commentary

1:51:03 > 1:51:09situation I will leave to the commentators

1:51:09 > 1:51:14situation I will leave to the commentators!

1:51:14 > 1:51:18The Russians starting to look more constable in this game, and the more

1:51:18 > 1:51:22that they relax into things, -- more comfortable, and the more that they

1:51:22 > 1:51:27relax into things, the worse it could be for Canada. Their St

1:51:27 > 1:51:33Johnstone in front. Finally for Canada. They take the lead. It was a

1:51:33 > 1:51:40broken play, that allowed some

1:51:41 > 1:51:46broken play, that allowed some space and Morozova is beaten. Some really

1:51:46 > 1:51:54nice

1:51:54 > 1:52:00nice work from Jenner?and Saulnier. A nice little play from Jenner,

1:52:00 > 1:52:06tucks it inside the post. Here is the power play for the third time.

1:52:06 > 1:52:13And they score as well. Extra player advantage, needed just eight seconds

1:52:13 > 1:52:22as it defects in. Erwin Mulder credit, I think.

1:52:22 > 1:52:25credit, I think. -- Irwin? will get the credit. And just like that,

1:52:25 > 1:52:36Canada have a second. It

1:52:36 > 1:52:43Canada have a second. It comes to Daoust, what a finish!

1:52:44 > 1:52:46Daoust, what a finish! Poulin?, Daoust, a goal for the Canadians.

1:52:46 > 1:52:52Much to the delight of those in the stands and the finish superb. And

1:52:52 > 1:53:04Canada lead by three goals.Watch this play from Marie Philip Poulin?.

1:53:04 > 1:53:10Poise and

1:53:10 > 1:53:18Poise and patients from Agosta??. That was trying to go back.Johnston

1:53:18 > 1:53:26scores again. This time she gets it right. Rips it upstairs. Canada

1:53:26 > 1:53:31extend their lead to four goals. The second of the game for Rebecca

1:53:31 > 1:53:35Johnston. She's banging on the door for quite a long time and finally it

1:53:35 > 1:53:45comes open. Canada winning this one at a canter.

1:53:46 > 1:53:48Poulin? has a couple of points and a couple of assists, the Canadian

1:53:48 > 1:53:56captain. Rulli is an incredible player. -- she really is amicable

1:53:56 > 1:54:01player. She has a goal, may well have been deflected in in the end by

1:54:01 > 1:54:08Daoust but Poulin? right on the spot, a backhand shot upstairs.

1:54:09 > 1:54:12spot, a backhand shot upstairs. And it's five, for Canada. Some

1:54:12 > 1:54:16performance, this, in the end, to open up. The experience, skill,
