:00:37. > :00:51.Not so long ago England's women coasted through qualifying, kwaling

:00:52. > :01:04.hatfuls along the way. But since then it has been tighter.

:01:05. > :01:21.Goes for goal and scores. What a fantastic goal. Goes for goal. Off

:01:22. > :01:34.the bar. And saved by the keeper. Great ball. And there you get a

:01:35. > :01:41.sense of the wind power. England have the break through! It hasn't

:01:42. > :01:51.been the home coming party that England expected, but it is a

:01:52. > :01:58.victory. Oh, that is a mistake. And Belgium are ahead. Absolutely

:01:59. > :02:07.nothing they could do. This could be curtains for England. Straight at

:02:08. > :02:16.the keeper. Nervy. Low par. Into Scott. Carney's there. Will it drop

:02:17. > :02:22.to Scott? It does. It has taken a long time, but Jill Scott's got them

:02:23. > :02:36.out of jail tonight. Carney. 1-0 England. Really important goal for

:02:37. > :02:41.England. England looking to rediscover their Mojo, but knowing

:02:42. > :02:48.another win should be enough to secure their qualification for the

:02:49. > :02:58.finals in the Netherlands next year. But Serbia should not be taken

:02:59. > :03:06.lightly. Belgium were in action yesterday in Estonia. A comfortable

:03:07. > :03:15.5-0 win put them clear at the top. If England win their next two

:03:16. > :03:18.matches, they will go top. Six points for England against Serbia

:03:19. > :03:23.would almost certainly guarantee one of the best runners up spots.

:03:24. > :03:32.Joining me, two player who between them have gone to seven Euro finals,

:03:33. > :03:37.Rachel Brown and Rachel Yankey. What do you hope to see? Today I hope to

:03:38. > :03:44.see us kick start this goal fest that we started. The line up, we are

:03:45. > :03:48.going to have a change of formation. Players playing more in their

:03:49. > :03:54.natural position. The change of formation I think will lead to a

:03:55. > :03:59.prolific goal-scoring spree. Do you think there has been a lack of

:04:00. > :04:03.confidence? Yes, I think the games that we have seen it has been

:04:04. > :04:08.frustrating and England sort of battling teams that have played

:04:09. > :04:11.them, every team has gone out defensively and it has been about

:04:12. > :04:19.can England break them down and it has been a struggle. Today, it is a

:04:20. > :04:23.more attacking team, hopefully bring that flair and create chances and

:04:24. > :04:30.get some goals. We expect that against Serbia. For all of those who

:04:31. > :04:36.sl come to expect England to score plenty of goals, recent results have

:04:37. > :04:39.been a surprise. Sue Smith has been examining why finding the net has

:04:40. > :04:55.become elusive for the Lionesses. When England beat Estonia 8-0, it

:04:56. > :05:02.looked like normal service had resumed. Last year they scored 52

:05:03. > :05:08.goals in ten games. But since returning from Tallinn, the goals

:05:09. > :05:14.have dried up. Just six in the last nine matches. Scott has a precious

:05:15. > :05:17.England goal. But four of the games were against the top three sides in

:05:18. > :05:22.the world. Including two against Germany. But the last three

:05:23. > :05:28.qualifiers have yieldled just three goals and two have come from

:05:29. > :05:34.midfield. There was relief all round when Karen Casc Carney scored in the

:05:35. > :05:37.dying moments against Bosnia the last time out. It might be their

:05:38. > :05:44.opponents are changing their approach to playing England. Bosnia,

:05:45. > :05:48.ranked 62nd in the world, almost stopped England twice by completely

:05:49. > :05:51.blocking the defence and show nothing ambition to cross the

:05:52. > :05:56.halfway line. Creating chances doesn't seem to be the problem. The

:05:57. > :06:01.Lionesses have had 50 attempts on goal in the last three qualifiers.

:06:02. > :06:14.Perhaps it is a lack of confidence in front of goals and Mark Sampson

:06:15. > :06:21.has recalled Jodie Taylor. Danielle carter scored a hat-trick on her

:06:22. > :06:29.debut and scored an FA Cup winner, but she is not in the squad. Neither

:06:30. > :06:36.is Beth Niamh. England don't let many in. Belgium's goal in April was

:06:37. > :06:41.the first they had qualified in 14 years in a qualifier. But the

:06:42. > :06:48.problem is at the other end. This is how the England manager has

:06:49. > :06:51.responded. Rachel Daly who played for Huston in the US makes her debut

:06:52. > :07:06.alongside Ellen White. Carney plays at the point of

:07:07. > :07:24.diamond. Marian Stacey is Mark Sampson's asis

:07:25. > :07:33.civil servant and has been talking to us. -- assistant. Many fans won't

:07:34. > :07:37.know Rachel Daly, what is the thinking behind her starting? She

:07:38. > :07:42.has been impressive in her start in the American league and she has

:07:43. > :07:46.mitted in well -- fitted in well with the group and she has been

:07:47. > :07:51.training really well. So she has forced herself into the starting

:07:52. > :07:55.line up and given herself the best opportunity to make her day buchlt

:07:56. > :07:59.we are looking forward to seeing what she produces. Ellen white has

:08:00. > :08:06.not played for England since cement. What do you think she will bring --

:08:07. > :08:15.since September. She has a real goal scoring mentality and she also

:08:16. > :08:19.brings that Rachel making her first debut, she will have her conviction

:08:20. > :08:24.in her own game to do her best. Goals have been hard to come back.

:08:25. > :08:28.Just four in the last six games, as a former England striker yourself,

:08:29. > :08:32.what has been missing? I think it is just getting on the end of chances.

:08:33. > :08:35.We have made a lot of chances and our build up play has been

:08:36. > :08:40.excellent. It is just taking it to the next level and putting the ball

:08:41. > :08:44.in the net. We have done some work in training this week and the girls

:08:45. > :08:47.are flying and the ball has been flying in the net in training. So

:08:48. > :08:55.they're confident and looking forward to getting out and scoring

:08:56. > :09:00.goals today. Thank you. Another Rachel in the mix, what do you make

:09:01. > :09:07.of Rachel Daly. She is an unknown kwaupt. Yes and hopefully that will

:09:08. > :09:14.be to England's advantage. It is a bold move to drop the other players.

:09:15. > :09:20.Rachel Daly is making a name for herself in the United States. It is

:09:21. > :09:24.a good side that Mark is looking outside of England. The fact she is

:09:25. > :09:29.coming in, she is going to want to impress. She knows it is a difficult

:09:30. > :09:33.it is a tock stay in that pool of strikers for the next games. So she

:09:34. > :09:38.will be looking to impress and hopefully she will hit the back of

:09:39. > :09:44.the net. What do you think Rachel will bring, Rachel? She is a Rachel.

:09:45. > :09:48.She will bring good stuff! It is fantastic. On your debut you want to

:09:49. > :09:53.come out and be confident and you're going to try your best. I think it

:09:54. > :09:57.is about how the team can settle her into the game and play to her

:09:58. > :10:04.strengths and she will be wanting to show how good she is. From a new

:10:05. > :10:10.face to a more familiar one, Ellen white hasn't played since they

:10:11. > :10:15.played Estonia. She has had injuries and come back and she is in form. I

:10:16. > :10:20.think that is where Mark samp sovereign's gone for -- -- Sampson's

:10:21. > :10:25.gone for two in form strikers. They need to show it today. Lucy Bronze

:10:26. > :10:30.is back. We haven't seen her for a while. No, having Lucy Bronze is one

:10:31. > :10:36.of the outstanding players in the World Cup last year and she should

:10:37. > :10:42.be starting every England game. She brings so much as an attacking

:10:43. > :10:48.force. Today, it looks like from the line up that Mark Sampson's going

:10:49. > :10:56.for it with attacking players across the pitch. She must be frustrated,

:10:57. > :11:01.she got her chance at England and scored a great goal. Got a bad

:11:02. > :11:10.injury and she is back now. Another chance for her to prove her worth. A

:11:11. > :11:14.year ago today, Mark Sampson were in Canada preparing for the women's

:11:15. > :11:21.World Cup finals. Few gave the England squad much chance. This week

:11:22. > :11:25.I went down memory lane with the England head coach. How do you

:11:26. > :11:31.reflect opt past 12 months? Particular think World Cup was an --

:11:32. > :11:37.particularly the World Cup was an important phase in the women's

:11:38. > :11:41.football development. We need that game-changer and by getting that

:11:42. > :11:47.bronze medal we gave the team confidence. But we also inspired a

:11:48. > :11:50.lot of hope back home within the women's football community and the

:11:51. > :11:55.supporters who wanted to connect with the team and get behind the

:11:56. > :11:59.team. The whole journey was special. The further we went, the more

:12:00. > :12:03.historical landmarks we were ticking off. That comes with this huge sense

:12:04. > :12:09.of pride and opportunity, because once you achieve one, you want a bit

:12:10. > :12:14.more and to get the next one. Reflections are there were big

:12:15. > :12:17.moments for us. Winning the knock out matches, which are no tomorrow

:12:18. > :12:24.games. You know if you don't win, you're going home. There is no ifs

:12:25. > :12:29.or buts. That takes a type of person to handle that pressure. That means

:12:30. > :12:38.expectations have changed. What are they now? We have got to win every

:12:39. > :12:42.game 10-0. But 2345 is cool. That is cool. I'm glad people are talking

:12:43. > :12:47.about the team. We scored quite a lot of goals in the tournament and

:12:48. > :12:51.we scored enough goals that history suggests would be enough to win a

:12:52. > :13:03.major Championship. Buttive got to keep -- but you have got to clean

:13:04. > :13:06.sheets. In 2013 Germany won the European Championships and only

:13:07. > :13:11.conceded one goal. We conceded too many to win a major tournament and

:13:12. > :13:14.it stopped us getting over the line. We are clear with the way we play

:13:15. > :13:19.and the players we have got, wir going to score. And this England

:13:20. > :13:26.team will score. Disappointing to concede against Belgium at home. Yes

:13:27. > :13:30.when we do concede a goal, the fact that it is a shock tells me we're

:13:31. > :13:36.moving in the right direction. Defensively we are in a great space.

:13:37. > :13:39.Not many teams enjoy playing against England. We will make it difficult

:13:40. > :13:42.for them to score. We have got to make sure when we get opportunities

:13:43. > :13:52.to score, we are more clinical. But if I look at the opportunities we

:13:53. > :13:58.created against Belgium and Bos nia, we could have won each game. What do

:13:59. > :14:04.we expect against Serbia? I hope the same. On argued, resolute team. But

:14:05. > :14:07.hopefully with the ball when we create chances, just a bit more care

:14:08. > :14:14.with the final pass and the final shot. And if I look at the context

:14:15. > :14:20.of the season, we have players coming us to, who are feeling the

:14:21. > :14:24.benefit of a few games under their belt. We were pretty much in

:14:25. > :14:29.pre-season. With England being the best placed European team at the

:14:30. > :14:36.World Cup. Could they be favourites for 2017? That would be difficult

:14:37. > :14:40.for me to put us as favourites. A few teams would say that was the

:14:41. > :14:45.case. There is a group of teams that will go with an ambition that they

:14:46. > :14:49.can win it. It will come down to who is prepared the best and who fights

:14:50. > :14:55.the hardest and who has a bit of luck. We have to make sure the first

:14:56. > :15:00.two boxes we get right. We have to go and fight for our lives and we

:15:01. > :15:05.will have the belief we can win. But you have got to make sure we work

:15:06. > :15:10.hard to go there and try and perform as best we can. So a lot has

:15:11. > :15:15.happened in the past year. What do you think he has learned in the last

:15:16. > :15:20.12 months. He has learned a lot. He is new to the role and throughout

:15:21. > :15:25.the World Cup you think of the squad, he tinkered with the squad,

:15:26. > :15:28.and most of the European Championship qualifiers, he has

:15:29. > :15:32.played a few players out of position and it has not quite worked. I'm

:15:33. > :15:38.happy he has changed his formation again to suit a team. To go out more

:15:39. > :15:44.attacking. I still don't think he knows what his best team is and the

:15:45. > :15:47.best formation. But what he does and what the girls have learned is

:15:48. > :15:52.different tactics they can play against different opposition. We

:15:53. > :15:57.nicknamed him The Tinkerman during the World Cup. How do you think

:15:58. > :16:02.expectations have changed, after they brought home the bronze medals

:16:03. > :16:07.and were the best-placed European team? That is why other teams want

:16:08. > :16:11.to when they play England want to bank up and not let England attack.

:16:12. > :16:15.That is why it is now difficult for England to break down teams. It is

:16:16. > :16:19.frustrating, but they have got to make sure, something strong Mark

:16:20. > :16:23.Sampson said was about the belief and they have got to believe even

:16:24. > :16:28.when it is difficult and it is 0-0, but always believe neck score. They

:16:29. > :16:32.have done in the qualifying games. They have not been fantastic, but

:16:33. > :16:39.they're getting the points and they need 20 go out and make sure however

:16:40. > :16:45.they do it, we would love to see a five-goal thriller, but if we don't,

:16:46. > :16:50.it is about getting the points. Something happened in England's last

:16:51. > :16:56.home game that has not happened since 2002. They conceded a goal. It

:16:57. > :17:03.following a mistake from the Manchester City keeper. Er. But she

:17:04. > :17:14.is determined to bounce back as she told Sue Smith. That is a mistake

:17:15. > :17:22.and Belgium are ahead A horrible moment for the England keeper. How

:17:23. > :17:25.did you pick yourself up from that? It was disappointing, but I was

:17:26. > :17:31.proud of the way I managed the right of the game and our performance for

:17:32. > :17:37.the rest of the 89 minutes and 30 seconds. But as a keeper, you have

:17:38. > :17:42.to look back at the incident, analyse it on video, but you go, OK,

:17:43. > :17:47.how can I learn from this? I put it to bed and moved on and taken the

:17:48. > :17:53.opportunity to focus on something else. Coming back from that trip and

:17:54. > :17:59.going into the domestic season, we have kept seven consecutive clean

:18:00. > :18:03.sheets. We all hate conceding. Mark Sampson said you're his No 1, that

:18:04. > :18:07.must give you confidence? Yes, I was grateful for the support and the

:18:08. > :18:13.support of the girls and everything. It is really nice to hear that.

:18:14. > :18:20.Sometimes it feels like it must be a token gesture. But you know, they're

:18:21. > :18:24.all supportive and I couldn't be more grateful for that. How would

:18:25. > :18:27.you sum up the qualification? It has been difficult to score lately, but

:18:28. > :18:31.we are still positive and we had to show a lot of character out of the

:18:32. > :18:36.last two games. I think we are confident in our abilities and you

:18:37. > :18:42.know, really looking forward to getting back out on the pitch and

:18:43. > :18:45.just building on our last outing. I think we have a lot more to offer

:18:46. > :18:50.and the team is in a good place at the minute. Everyone seems happy and

:18:51. > :18:56.excited and ready to get playing again. I want to look at the

:18:57. > :19:03.Olympics, it must be so disappointed not to be going this year. You were

:19:04. > :19:08.an ever present in 2012. How much of a disappointment was that? It is a

:19:09. > :19:13.bummer. There is no way you... We would love to be there. Any athlete

:19:14. > :19:18.would love another opportunities at tournament experience. It is

:19:19. > :19:23.disappointing we can't go, since we qualified, it feels like a missed

:19:24. > :19:30.opportunity. But you know, it is, we are focussed on just qualifying. And

:19:31. > :19:35.just making sure that we do our jobs when called upon. Looking ahead to

:19:36. > :19:40.the Serbia game, what do you expect from them? They will be hard to

:19:41. > :19:44.break down. They will be looking to bank up and block us. So they're

:19:45. > :19:48.going to make it difficult for us to penetrate and get opportunities on

:19:49. > :19:54.goal. So I'm expecting a physical battle. But I would like to think we

:19:55. > :20:04.will come out on top. The best keepers in the world make mistakes.

:20:05. > :20:08.How does Karen Bardsley bounce back? Well you make mistakes, some are

:20:09. > :20:15.high profile, some nobody sees. It is part of your psyche to deal with

:20:16. > :20:22.that. I don't think it is a problem. As she said, she played the rest of

:20:23. > :20:28.the game flawlessly. That is a sign of the world class keeper she is. It

:20:29. > :20:32.is an error and it has been to be forgotten about. Reviewed of course,

:20:33. > :20:37.but it is about looking fore ward. So she has been a lynch pin for this

:20:38. > :20:46.team. And she will be moving forward. Serbia are a squad in

:20:47. > :20:59.development and are missing their striking Dammjanovic. The Keeler

:21:00. > :21:03.Nilsson plays in Sweden. It is a huge game, coming to England,

:21:04. > :21:09.playing a top five, I think, it is just a great feeling. I hope there

:21:10. > :21:13.will be a lot of spectators and hopefully we will keep up with them

:21:14. > :21:19.and give the audience a good match. We are I think the younger team in

:21:20. > :21:29.our group. So a lot of players go abroad now. It can help of course

:21:30. > :21:33.when we go to the stronger leagues. It can help Serbian football that a

:21:34. > :21:41.lot of girls start to play. A lot of young girls. So in Serbia, the

:21:42. > :21:50.women's football is in development. So we tell when the girls go to

:21:51. > :21:55.other country, it helps a lot. Cankovic is their No 10, how much of

:21:56. > :22:00.a threat is she? Coming here with the English fans, a midfield player,

:22:01. > :22:05.you want to inspire the crowd and keep this crowd quiet. Today will be

:22:06. > :22:09.a big game. She spoke about football in England and how it could inspire

:22:10. > :22:14.back in her country. I think it is about the Serbian team, they're a

:22:15. > :22:16.young team, they will want to prove a point and England have to be

:22:17. > :22:21.careful and respect that. But also have to go and get the job done.

:22:22. > :22:27.This is Serbia's biggest game in qualifying, they will have a point

:22:28. > :22:31.to play -- prove. Yes and they have nothing to lose. They're a young

:22:32. > :22:35.team who have come here, this is a huge stage for them. Serbia women's

:22:36. > :22:42.football is just getting off the ground. It is in its grass roots

:22:43. > :22:46.level. They will want to make a name for themselves and getting a scalp

:22:47. > :22:56.for England will get in the news back home. Quick predictions. I'm

:22:57. > :23:00.hoping three or four nil to England. A clean sheet for England and I'm

:23:01. > :23:06.going to go with 4-0. I'm confident. At half-time we will have highlights

:23:07. > :23:12.of Scotland's qualifier with Iceland, but here England and Serbia

:23:13. > :23:19.are about to appear. Before they do the last minute thoughts from the

:23:20. > :23:25.three Lionesses. Pulling on shirt is the biggest pride you can have R. It

:23:26. > :23:30.is massive for us. There is nothing like it. 12 Lions all the way. It

:23:31. > :23:33.will be a tough game. We need three points and a point win and hopefully

:23:34. > :23:53.a lot of goals. It is a vital Euro 17 qualifier.

:23:54. > :24:03.Here to talk us there to action is Sue Smith and Jonathan Pearce. A sad

:24:04. > :24:07.day, the greatest champion of them all, Muhammad Ali gone. And this

:24:08. > :24:12.match wouldn't have been on his radar. He would have appreciated the

:24:13. > :24:17.investment and development in England's women's football since the

:24:18. > :24:23.last Euro finals. But that improve for it to continue in the

:24:24. > :24:26.short-term, they need to win their back-to-back games with Serb yachlt

:24:27. > :24:30.anything short of that would leave them open to a top two challenge

:24:31. > :24:36.from the Serbs. The group winners go through and the best runners. A

:24:37. > :24:41.cool, grey evening in Whickham, where England teams have done well

:24:42. > :24:47.in the past, but they need to move the ball quicker. They need the get

:24:48. > :24:52.their shots away earlier. If they to win as comfortably as they should

:24:53. > :24:57.win here today. Yes, I think it should be a comfortable win. But

:24:58. > :25:03.that is a big should. They need to make sure they're resilient at the

:25:04. > :25:07.back and it is about that final ball and that clinical ball and being

:25:08. > :25:11.clinical when they're in front of game. They have been creating

:25:12. > :25:24.chances, but they have not been scoring them. 4,000 tickets have

:25:25. > :25:30.been sold. As we await the anthems. A few of the England players looking

:25:31. > :27:06.nervy. Not Farah Williams. The official Serbian flag is at the

:27:07. > :27:10.left hand side. Some chuckles, our presentation team, maybe some

:27:11. > :27:22.chuckles at the fashion sense of presentation team!

:27:23. > :28:06.Mark Sampson, the England manager. His assistant once scored a

:28:07. > :28:12.hat-trick for England here. A big day for Steph Houghton and Karen

:28:13. > :28:20.Bardsley, who spoke to Sue so confidently in that interview before

:28:21. > :28:34.kick off. Rachel Daly brought in to solve England's scoring problems.

:28:35. > :28:39.Ellen White returns. Supply from Christiansen and Carney crucial. No

:28:40. > :28:50.Jordan Nobbs on the bench, she was injured in training.

:28:51. > :29:00.Experienced options for England up front are limited. Serbia drew with

:29:01. > :29:19.Belgium, but Belgium had 25 shots and Serbia had one.

:29:20. > :29:27.Dammjanovic, the player who most concerned England, she is out

:29:28. > :29:30.injured and that is a relief for Mark Sampson, because they were

:29:31. > :29:35.worried about her. Yes, she plays on the left and she is very good with

:29:36. > :29:41.her right foot and will cut in and try and find the bottom corner. They

:29:42. > :29:47.were pleased when they found she wasn't in. There is Rachel Daly. She

:29:48. > :29:54.was at Lincoln with you? Yes I'm pleased with her, playing at Houston

:29:55. > :29:58.Dash, she is pifbging up awards -- picking up awards there. She is in

:29:59. > :30:02.form and to bring her in is excellent for her and she played

:30:03. > :30:06.left-back when I played with her at Leeds and Lincoln. She is now

:30:07. > :30:08.further forward. She is one that will be getting on the end of

:30:09. > :30:21.crosses. Rashid, England unbeaten at home in

:30:22. > :30:25.11 European Championship qualifiers going back to Norway. None of those

:30:26. > :30:31.England team players out there were on display that day. In fact, who in

:30:32. > :30:36.this stadium was in that last defeat? Let me have a look around.

:30:37. > :30:46.Sue Smith, you were in that team! I knew you would bring that up. I

:30:47. > :30:51.said, please don't say that. There's Isobel Christiansen, back after

:30:52. > :30:57.injury. Good to see her back. She was out with an ankle injury for two

:30:58. > :31:00.months. She won the PFA Player of the Year award. She'll want to prove

:31:01. > :31:05.a point, along with a lot of the other players who have come in for

:31:06. > :31:10.the first time in a while. New kick-off rule, the ball doesn't have

:31:11. > :31:15.to go forwards these dimes. -- these days. First time we've seen that at

:31:16. > :31:22.international level. Booted up towards Jill Scott, I think we'll

:31:23. > :31:27.see a lot of that today. Radojicic has the big fair hair and the green

:31:28. > :31:34.boots, playing up front for Serbia. She has scored in qualifying,

:31:35. > :31:38.against Estonia. They were very expansive against Estonia, I think

:31:39. > :31:42.most teams are, but they are a different team against better

:31:43. > :31:44.opposition. Given away cheaply by Williams. England will have to be

:31:45. > :31:56.watchful. Christiansen, the women's Footballer

:31:57. > :32:01.of the Year. A little clip that gives England the free kick for the

:32:02. > :32:09.challenge on our most capped footballer.

:32:10. > :32:19.The captain, lauded for her ambition, desire when she was handed

:32:20. > :32:23.the armband. Rachel Daly got a shot away early and that's impressed Mark

:32:24. > :32:27.Sampson in training this week. She's been the top scorer for England in

:32:28. > :32:36.training sessions and she's got her shots away early. A bright start by

:32:37. > :32:40.England. It is. Daly originally got called up a few years back and

:32:41. > :32:45.didn't actually... She got into the squad, but didn't keep her place.

:32:46. > :32:49.She wanted to impress in training and she's got the starting position

:32:50. > :32:54.so she will want to take the shots early and test the keeper. If she

:32:55. > :32:58.can get a goal early, it will build confidence. She showed marked

:32:59. > :33:07.Sampson she wanted to wear the shirt with the three Lions on the front.

:33:08. > :33:12.Greenwood getting forward. She does that so well. Couldn't keep it in

:33:13. > :33:19.play. Those forward runs might be commercial for her place in the

:33:20. > :33:23.side. -- crucial. I think Greenwood and Bronze will have to provide the

:33:24. > :33:28.width, especially with the diamond formation. The full-backs will have

:33:29. > :33:33.to get on and provide the width and get the crosses in. The doors are

:33:34. > :33:39.open for Claire Rafferty, Katie Chapman, out of the domestic reasons

:33:40. > :33:44.at the moment. Aluko and Toni Duggan. He's outlined what he thinks

:33:45. > :33:50.are the shortcomings in their games. But they also experienced. It shows

:33:51. > :33:56.the competition for places in all positions. You mentioned Claire

:33:57. > :34:00.Rafferty, Alex Greenwood. Two quality left backs. And Stokes.

:34:01. > :34:08.Three quality left backs. He's got a real pool of players to choose from.

:34:09. > :34:21.Williams, orchestrating, in the Heart of Midlothian. Krstic born in

:34:22. > :34:32.Belgium. Domestic champion on five occasions. Good movement from Carney

:34:33. > :34:37.already. White tried to get the cross in. She's worked so hard to

:34:38. > :34:42.get her place back in the side. She has and she's been playing well for

:34:43. > :34:45.Notts County. Another player in form. Mark Sampson is looking at

:34:46. > :34:49.players and if you're playing well for your club, why not, come and

:34:50. > :34:54.play internationally. Three England players going short for the corner,

:34:55. > :35:01.interesting. They almost exploited it! A shot over from Ellen White.

:35:02. > :35:04.The intensity England have shown so far is so much more than they have

:35:05. > :35:09.in the last couple of games I've seen. This is unlucky from Ellen

:35:10. > :35:13.White. So much time and space. Knew what she was trying to do, but

:35:14. > :35:21.couldn't get her head over the ball to keep it down. But good movement

:35:22. > :35:29.initially to create the chance. She was playing in America earlier this

:35:30. > :35:33.year. England do look sharp. Well into their domestic season, which is

:35:34. > :35:38.important. They opened up the European Championship campaign, they

:35:39. > :35:45.had just finished their domestic season. The early games this year,

:35:46. > :35:52.they were just getting going again. It makes such a difference, the

:35:53. > :35:56.match fitness. Bronze was such a success at the World Cup finals last

:35:57. > :36:04.summer, got into the tournament best 11.

:36:05. > :36:09.Christiansen plays for the current league leaders, Manchester City. A

:36:10. > :36:16.big contingent of their players in the squad. Smiljkovic, the most

:36:17. > :36:19.experienced player with 75 internationals to her name. She

:36:20. > :36:29.scored against England in injury time in the 1-1 draw in September 20

:36:30. > :36:36.11. A good run by Daly. Took it up with confidence. Interesting that

:36:37. > :36:40.Mark Sampson said they need to improve their passing, they need to

:36:41. > :36:44.get their shots away with accuracy. It really has let them down in the

:36:45. > :36:48.opening couple of games this season. It's been the final ball. The

:36:49. > :36:53.build-up play has been great, but in the final third, it's that clinical

:36:54. > :36:59.pass into a player or space that hasn't been there. It's something

:37:00. > :37:05.they've been working on in training. Mark Sampson's team opened up with

:37:06. > :37:11.that 8-0 win in Estonia. A narrow 1-0 win against Bosnia in Bristol.

:37:12. > :37:19.And then a draw at home to Belgium. Jill Scott rescued them. And 1-0 win

:37:20. > :37:28.in Bosnia through Karen Carney. Real crossroads games. These against

:37:29. > :37:37.Serbia now. Damjanovic plays in Denmark for the currently leaders.

:37:38. > :37:48.-- current league leaders. Nobody for Serbia picking up Fara Williams,

:37:49. > :37:50.strangely. Kozovic, her second international only. Her first in

:37:51. > :38:10.these championships. You can see straightaway how Serbia

:38:11. > :38:17.are lining up. Definitely a 45-1. They don't seem to even be trying to

:38:18. > :38:20.press England at the back. -- 45-1. They are looking for the

:38:21. > :38:24.counterattack and it makes it difficult to England. They have to

:38:25. > :38:28.remain patient and keep the intensity high, keep moving the

:38:29. > :38:33.ball, because they will try to be physical and win the ball back. A

:38:34. > :38:41.very defensive line-up, which we thought it would be. A possible

:38:42. > :38:48.chance for an effort. Jonovic got the pass away. We thought she might

:38:49. > :38:52.play at the back. She's more of a midfield player. Tenkov can play

:38:53. > :38:56.midfield or defence. We thought she might be in midfield, but she's

:38:57. > :39:05.playing centre-half alongside Damjanovic. Tenkov is wearing number

:39:06. > :39:09.four. Plays for red Star Belgrade. Lovely touch from Carney. She was

:39:10. > :39:15.clattered. Good use of the advantage. White! Off the stanchion,

:39:16. > :39:20.I think. A little bit of stanchion, a little bit of post and away. Good

:39:21. > :39:24.chance for England. Very good play from England. It came from Fara

:39:25. > :39:29.Williams in the middle. Excellent touch from Carney and good to way

:39:30. > :39:38.from Daly to feed Ellen White. She plays off the shoulder. The angle of

:39:39. > :39:45.crossbar and post. Carney looks really on top of her game. She's

:39:46. > :39:51.brought down as well quite cynically by Kozovic. Very impressive use of

:39:52. > :39:56.the advantage moments ago by the referee from Finland, Lina

:39:57. > :40:01.Lehtovaara. Karen Carney looks sharp. Every touch she has seems to

:40:02. > :40:05.take her forward. She wants to drive at players and make things happen.

:40:06. > :40:12.That's what you want from a number ten. The captain stepping up to take

:40:13. > :40:16.responsibility. Steph Houghton. She's scored eight goals for England

:40:17. > :40:25.in her 71 internationals. One this season.

:40:26. > :40:34.Lucy Bronze on the end of the wall. She will peel away and hopefully

:40:35. > :40:39.leave a hole. She's wandered away from there, actually. Will she go

:40:40. > :40:43.back? Yes. Trying to make a nuisance of herself. Houghton could score

:40:44. > :40:53.here. And very nearly did. Nelson got across -- Nilsson got across.

:40:54. > :40:56.She hadn't lined up her wall very effectively. Carney forces the

:40:57. > :41:03.corner and England well on top in the opening exchanges. Steph

:41:04. > :41:08.Houghton with a free kick. Got to make the keeper work and that's what

:41:09. > :41:16.she did. A decent save. It's all England in the first ten minutes.

:41:17. > :41:22.Williams will take it. Goalkeeper came out. Jill Scott took a tumble.

:41:23. > :41:28.Well claimed by Milsom. Born in Sweden to Serb parents.

:41:29. > :41:43.Jill Scott, five foot 11, an obvious target in the penalty area.

:41:44. > :42:01.Was that another foul on Christiansen?

:42:02. > :42:08.Laura Bassett played one European qualifier, in Bristol begins Bosnia,

:42:09. > :42:17.but she played holding midfielder that day. Rachel Daly is the 31st

:42:18. > :42:24.player used by England in qualifying so far. Lovely football from

:42:25. > :42:29.England, they are playing really well. But they need a goal.

:42:30. > :42:34.Greenwood crosses it into the middle, a powerful header away by

:42:35. > :42:45.Damjanovic. She very much holds the defence together. Offside. They had

:42:46. > :42:49.nine outfield players back inside their penalty area, Serbia. That's

:42:50. > :42:53.what they are setting up to do. Frustrate England. But England are

:42:54. > :42:57.moving the ball really well. This is the chance from Ellen White. Her

:42:58. > :43:02.movement has been excellent. In fact, England's movement has been

:43:03. > :43:07.excellent. Steph Houghton's free kick. They are very fluid, into

:43:08. > :43:09.changing positions. Good so far, they just need that goal to settle

:43:10. > :43:22.them down. Christiansen buzzes around in

:43:23. > :43:27.midfield, good mobility. Had Jordan Nobbs been fully fit, I don't know

:43:28. > :43:29.whether she would have started. She picked up an injury in training so

:43:30. > :43:42.she sit this one out. Tenkov has played just the one game

:43:43. > :43:52.in qualifying so far, the red Star player.

:43:53. > :44:13.A good run by Daly and it was a strong challenge by Daly on Tenkov.

:44:14. > :44:19.Looking for Jill Scott, part of the game plan to get Jill Scott in from

:44:20. > :44:23.the right-hand side, a supporting role into that sort of area. If you

:44:24. > :44:27.get good deliveries into the box like that, she will get on the end

:44:28. > :44:30.of them. She makes late runs into the box that are difficult for

:44:31. > :44:36.defenders to pick up. She just couldn't glance the head down.

:44:37. > :44:40.Already has three goals in qualifying, 16 in all in her 107

:44:41. > :44:48.appearances for England, who are well top. Curious that Lucy Bronze

:44:49. > :44:55.was out for so long this season. She came on as a substitute in the last

:44:56. > :45:03.game, the wind in Bosnia. -- the win.

:45:04. > :45:11.Enjoying herself, Karen Carney. You can see that. Such a talented

:45:12. > :45:18.player, as we saw in the World Cup finals. Free kick for Serbia. A

:45:19. > :45:24.moment of respite for them. Really on top of her game today. She looks

:45:25. > :45:28.sharp and every time she gets the ball she is looking to make

:45:29. > :45:34.something happen. The movement with herself, Daly and White looks good.

:45:35. > :45:40.If she goes forward, White or Daly has dropped back into her position.

:45:41. > :45:44.Not a happy day at Wembley in the FA Cup final when Arsenal beat Chelsea.

:45:45. > :45:53.A lot of Chelsea players didn't show up that day. Looking for Bronze to

:45:54. > :45:58.get forward. We saw what she could do in the World Cup finals with her

:45:59. > :46:02.goals against Norway and Canada. So athletic. She will get up and down

:46:03. > :46:07.the line. You think, when Ellen White looks into the box, who will

:46:08. > :46:11.be the first player? Lucy Bronze from full-back. It's a good header.

:46:12. > :46:15.That's what she'll do, and then she'll work back and win the ball

:46:16. > :46:28.defensively. She sat to work hard to get her place back. Missed the first

:46:29. > :46:31.qualifiers with injury. A star of Canada 2014. But nobody in this

:46:32. > :46:34.squad is should a place in the starting line-up. 15 minutes gone,

:46:35. > :46:43.no goals. Lovely ball. Greenwood for England. 1-0! They've been on top

:46:44. > :46:45.since the word go. That's a special moment for Alex Greenwood. She gets

:46:46. > :47:01.the opening goal of this game. Lovely move. Incisive passing. Moved

:47:02. > :47:05.the ball quickly and took it well. Fantastic ball from Fara Williams,

:47:06. > :47:09.playing the ball between the full-back and the centre-half. What

:47:10. > :47:13.good movement from the full-back. I spoke about Lucy Bronze on the

:47:14. > :47:18.right, this was Alex Greenwood on the left. Takes a touch to set her

:47:19. > :47:23.up. She actually took it a bit wide, but hit it exactly where she should

:47:24. > :47:28.have done. Really bad defending from Serbia, but excellent football from

:47:29. > :47:34.England. Back on Merseyside in her club career. Was inevitable player,

:47:35. > :47:39.went to Notts County for a year, now back at her home town, Liverpool,

:47:40. > :47:47.and enjoying herself. She gets a goal for her country. Played the

:47:48. > :47:59.last couple of qualifiers. Seems to have won that left back berth now.

:48:00. > :48:06.I much prefer Williams in the centre of the park. She is pivotal in

:48:07. > :48:11.everything. Everything good for England. She gets on the ball, she

:48:12. > :48:16.makes things happen, she can pass long or short, great vision, very

:48:17. > :48:22.experienced. When she played out wide in the diamond, on the right,

:48:23. > :48:26.she wasn't involved in. Christiansen gives England a different dimensions

:48:27. > :48:31.well in midfield. She gives them energy. Likes to get forward. Likes

:48:32. > :48:35.to get on the ball. All the England players like to play football, move

:48:36. > :48:40.the ball quickly. When you're playing a team that will sit back,

:48:41. > :48:48.like Serbia, that's what you have to have. A smile from the manager. Not

:48:49. > :49:00.the Serbian boss! His son is amongst his coaching staff.

:49:01. > :49:08.Greenwood up again looking for a second. She's already doubled her

:49:09. > :49:18.goal tally as an England player with that very well taken opener today.

:49:19. > :49:22.Serbia are playing into England's hands, they are not pressing

:49:23. > :49:31.anywhere near high enough. Just sat in their own half.

:49:32. > :49:45.Cankovic can create, she's a player. Title winning years at home, now at

:49:46. > :49:52.Ferencvaros. She seems to be hobbling and slowing now, Cankovic.

:49:53. > :50:00.Strong challenge. But the referee allowed it to go on.

:50:01. > :50:09.Poljak, the number seven, I don't think has touched the ball yet.

:50:10. > :50:21.She's only 17. Bassett has missed the last five games for England. A

:50:22. > :50:26.very likeable character. The pass from Bassett was too long for Alex

:50:27. > :50:30.Greenwood. But good to see Bassett back. She was the player who

:50:31. > :50:35.suffered that cruel heartache against Japan in the World Cup, that

:50:36. > :50:40.semifinal. She was strong enough to get over it and come back. Very

:50:41. > :50:44.dependable. She really is, and she showed real mental toughness to come

:50:45. > :50:50.back and have a good game against Germany. She had had a great

:50:51. > :50:54.tournament, but that one mistake everyone remembered. Support from

:50:55. > :50:59.social media was so strong, it touched her and helped get over that

:51:00. > :51:06.nightmare on the pitch. A real character, a real leader. Looking to

:51:07. > :51:13.get through to her fourth European finals, Laura Bassett.

:51:14. > :51:22.Steph Houghton had all the time in the world. Runners-up in 1984 and

:51:23. > :51:30.again in 2009 in this competition, England.

:51:31. > :51:36.It took a good challenge to stop Bronze. The game plan is working

:51:37. > :51:43.really well. Get the full-back 's high. Alex Greenwood was coming in.

:51:44. > :51:49.So much space out wide for the full-backs. The game plan is spot

:51:50. > :51:53.on. This is the goal begin. What a ball between the centre-half and the

:51:54. > :52:00.full-back. That is a cool and calm finish from the full-back.

:52:01. > :52:05.Defensively very poor if you're looking at it from that point of

:52:06. > :52:13.view, but from an England perspective, good play. We are

:52:14. > :52:17.getting lots of messages asking about your fitness and Doncaster

:52:18. > :52:23.Belles. We can't stop your mum text in us! How is your fitness? I'm

:52:24. > :52:25.getting there. I would have been on the bench for the Arsenal game, but

:52:26. > :52:43.got rained off, typical. The Serbian manager. A real strange

:52:44. > :52:48.form guide if you look at their games so far. They had a result in

:52:49. > :52:54.Belgium. But they lost against Bosnia at home. Bosnia, when they

:52:55. > :52:58.played in England, offered at nothing in terms of attack

:52:59. > :53:04.whatsoever. In the same way, Serbia went to Belgium, they were very,

:53:05. > :53:10.very cagey and it paid off. Very inconsistent team. The stats show

:53:11. > :53:16.they just defended against Belgium and it worked for them. England

:53:17. > :53:21.can't make mistakes. Radojicic chasing down on Steph Houghton.

:53:22. > :53:26.That's the only problem when you're playing against a team where it's a

:53:27. > :53:29.really easy game for the England players. You have to remain

:53:30. > :53:42.concentrated for the entire 90 minutes because one mistake and they

:53:43. > :53:47.will just shut up shop. Christiansen scuffed the pass. Poljak couldn't

:53:48. > :53:52.win it back. The teenager looking a little bit overwrought. The cross is

:53:53. > :53:52.it all the way through. -- overwrought.

:53:53. > :54:05.Looking for her erstwhile strike partner. Sampson described the two

:54:06. > :54:09.of them as a twin pronged strike partnership for England. At times

:54:10. > :54:13.Karen Carney has run beyond them, as has Jill Scott. Good display, but

:54:14. > :54:27.only one goal. Poljak couldn't pick up the ball

:54:28. > :54:34.again. A horrible past to her. -- pass. Carney being chased by Maria

:54:35. > :54:37.Ilich, Nonda leave the holding play in midfield with the long urban

:54:38. > :55:01.hair. -- Maria Ilich. Greenwood with the cross. Over the

:55:02. > :55:17.bar by Bronze! All England. Full-back to full-back.

:55:18. > :55:21.Rachel Daly, initially, I think it just fell at Lucy Bronze to quickly

:55:22. > :55:26.and she couldn't adjust her feet quick enough. She has her head in

:55:27. > :55:31.her hands, she thinks she should have done better, but it came at her

:55:32. > :55:35.at some place. Has one for Manchester City this season, top of

:55:36. > :55:40.the table. They look sure-fire favourites to go on and win the

:55:41. > :55:46.title. They do, they've been in top form. They haven't conceded a goal

:55:47. > :55:54.in the WSL. Defensively very solid and excellent going forward. Here's

:55:55. > :56:05.the captain of and country. -- club and country. A corner kick.

:56:06. > :56:19.From this platform, England should go on and win this comfortably.

:56:20. > :56:33.Scott in there. Greenwood, is she looking for Jill Scott? No, Lucy

:56:34. > :56:39.Bronze! Just wide. That was right out of the World Cup finals set

:56:40. > :56:44.piece workbook from last year. It really was. What good movement. Got

:56:45. > :56:49.herself in front of two defenders and won the ball in the air. Really

:56:50. > :56:54.athletic, rises above everyone and just past the far post. Unlucky.

:56:55. > :56:59.Excellent delivery from Greenwood. When you have the ball whipped in at

:57:00. > :57:04.such pace, you just need to get your head on it. England dominant. Nine

:57:05. > :57:09.attempts on goal. I very much doubt Serbia will have one in 90 minutes,

:57:10. > :57:23.not the way they are playing. The foot was a bit high from... A throw

:57:24. > :57:30.to Serbia. England mustn't get nonchalantly. Remembering that

:57:31. > :57:35.results in Belgium. He knows that, Mark Sampson. They found it

:57:36. > :57:41.difficult to get any video evidence on the Serbian team. He has watched

:57:42. > :57:47.them, of course. Studied video this week of their against Estonia. A

:57:48. > :57:54.rare touch of the ball for Karen Bardsley. Hasn't she bounced back

:57:55. > :58:00.after that error against Belgium so well with a run of clean sheets for

:58:01. > :58:04.Manchester City? She's such a good character, Karen Bardsley. When I

:58:05. > :58:09.spoke to her, it was just, forget that, learn from it, forget the

:58:10. > :58:13.mistake and move on. Let's be positive and look forward. That's

:58:14. > :58:17.what she's about. She's that kind of person and she's done so well for

:58:18. > :58:26.Manchester City and that will carry on into her international form.

:58:27. > :58:38.Williams. 153 caps. She will win 200 if they are all as easy as this one!

:58:39. > :58:48.If England win this comfortably, what do you think Mark Sampson

:58:49. > :58:54.should settle on for his side? A 14 or 15? I don't think he knows. He

:58:55. > :58:59.doesn't know his centre-half partnership. He's tried a number of

:59:00. > :59:05.players. Casey Stoney, Gilly Flaherty. And now Laura Bassett. You

:59:06. > :59:09.need to at least have your back four or your centre-half partnership. And

:59:10. > :59:15.then yes, if they play well, can you carry that momentum forward and that

:59:16. > :59:19.consistency? That makes such a difference. It's why Manchester City

:59:20. > :59:24.have been so good in the WSL. They kept their back five and been

:59:25. > :59:27.difficult to break down. Williams, also, important to have a

:59:28. > :59:34.relationship with her centre backs in order to pick up the ball and

:59:35. > :59:38.play the playmaking role. Williams has had an excellent game for

:59:39. > :59:44.England and goes for goal. That would have been special. I can't

:59:45. > :59:48.believe Serbia haven't put anyone on Fara Williams. She's making

:59:49. > :59:51.everything happen for England. She's picking up the ball and even

:59:52. > :59:55.creating chances for herself. You would certainly put someone on her

:59:56. > :59:59.because it starts from Fara Williams. She picks the ball up from

:00:00. > :00:07.the centre-half and look for the Pats. Arsenal player these days, but

:00:08. > :00:12.started at Chelsea. White with a dipping shot! The keeper just got

:00:13. > :00:20.back. Christian follows up and very nearly made it two. -- Christiansen.

:00:21. > :00:23.How is the scoreline just 1-0? The goalkeeper was injured. A

:00:24. > :00:29.speculative effort from Ellen White. She thought she would just have a

:00:30. > :00:35.go. The goalkeeper's positioning was all wrong. Christiansen, good

:00:36. > :00:43.movement to follow up. Always follow up and that's what she did. Just

:00:44. > :00:46.couldn't get the clinical shot away. She will have wanted to have done

:00:47. > :00:50.better because Christiansen gets herself into good positions like

:00:51. > :00:55.that for Manchester City and often put them away. They do have a

:00:56. > :01:04.problem with the goalkeeper, but she's OK. Christiansen looks really,

:01:05. > :01:08.like Carney and Williams, on top of her game today. You have to take the

:01:09. > :01:25.standard of the opposition into consideration and Serbia are poor.

:01:26. > :02:00.All the way through to the goalkeeper, Nilsson. We say Serbia

:02:01. > :02:02.are poor, but as one sa commentator said, you can only beat what is in

:02:03. > :02:25.front of you. Carney towards Daly. Still going.

:02:26. > :02:31.And fouling the defender. Just the possibility she could try a bit too

:02:32. > :02:36.hard in a way on her England debut. Just explain what I mean, Sue. When

:02:37. > :02:40.it is your debut, you want to impress and you do everything a bit

:02:41. > :02:44.more than you would normally do in a game, without playing your own game.

:02:45. > :02:51.Rachel Daly will do that all day long. Her and Ellen White, their

:02:52. > :02:56.work ethic is phenomenal. Rachel Daly, because she has been a

:02:57. > :03:01.full-back, she defends from the front and she has caused problems

:03:02. > :03:06.for Serbia by doing that. That sets everybody up to do the same job. A

:03:07. > :03:12.very good explanation of what I tried to say, but coulden. It means

:03:13. > :03:17.you're understanding me as well, which is remarkable.

:03:18. > :03:29.Another speculative effort. Williams, well they said they were

:03:30. > :03:34.going to get shots away early. That is what they have been working on

:03:35. > :03:41.all week. And they R Testing the keeper at every opportunity.

:03:42. > :03:48.Williams with acres of space. Took a touch, took another touch and was

:03:49. > :03:57.able to strike at goal. All the space in the world here for

:03:58. > :04:02.Greenwood. White challenge and oh - it is a penalty. Tenkov got too

:04:03. > :04:06.close. Didn't need to get that close. There was a touch. She

:04:07. > :04:11.protests. Penalty to England. I think it was a penalty as well.

:04:12. > :04:16.Ellen White was taking the ball away from goal. No need to barge into the

:04:17. > :04:22.back of her. As she has taken the ball away, it probably would have

:04:23. > :04:31.gone out of play. Karen Carney will take it. 26 goals for England.

:04:32. > :04:37.Scored away in Bosnia in the last game. It was a crucial match winner.

:04:38. > :04:47.This to put England 2-0 up. They deserve to be two ahead. Oh, she has

:04:48. > :04:52.to replace the ball. Will that have blurred her focus. And she has to

:04:53. > :04:57.place it back on the spot. She doesn't want to put it in the dip of

:04:58. > :05:03.the spot. There is a little dip. That is what she is saying to

:05:04. > :05:12.referee. Any reason for alarm? No! 2-0 England! Karen Carney did well.

:05:13. > :05:18.When you have to replace the ball, you start thinking and maybe change

:05:19. > :05:25.your mind. She had it set what she was going to do. That is experience

:05:26. > :05:35.for you. Right in the bottom corner. Keeper had no chance. I would expect

:05:36. > :05:40.on the eve of their departure for France, the England men's team are

:05:41. > :05:44.watching this. And it would be a lovely to see or hear some messages

:05:45. > :05:52.from them to the England women. Maybe at half-time or full-time. If

:05:53. > :05:57.you're watching boys, get on your mobiles and let's see what you think

:05:58. > :06:06.about these Lionesses today. This is a good performance.

:06:07. > :06:17.A good European qualifying for the home nation Scotland, they have done

:06:18. > :06:20.extremely well so far. The last ten minutes of first half. England

:06:21. > :06:50.comfortable at 2-0 up. Serbia, I thought they had gone to a

:06:51. > :07:00.centre-back three with Krstic dropping alongside Dammjanovic and

:07:01. > :07:02.Tenkov. Surely they haven't Gonul gone ultradefensive at 2-0 down? I

:07:03. > :07:20.think it was just for a moment. A real slump of the shoulder there

:07:21. > :07:32.is as the teenager lost possession. Could be a third here for England.

:07:33. > :07:38.No, the cross overstruck, beyond the far post. White and Daly had made

:07:39. > :08:11.the same sort of run. Scott fouled Cankovic. As soon as

:08:12. > :08:16.England give the ball away, there are one or two players trying to win

:08:17. > :08:23.the ball back. It is like they're all playing for that you are places,

:08:24. > :08:34.which they probably are! Well played by Christiansen.

:08:35. > :08:43.Ilic tried to get it away. The free kick has been given. They do play

:08:44. > :08:59.the ball dangerously around in their own box, Serb yachlt England --

:09:00. > :09:06.Serbia. England unbeaten since 2002 at home in qualifiers. That game at

:09:07. > :09:11.Crystal Palace was a game they thought they should have won. But

:09:12. > :09:32.barring an unbelievable collapse they will win this game. Daly.

:09:33. > :09:42.Look at the space. I think Serbia will tire. I think it will be even

:09:43. > :09:54.more space for England if they keep moving the ball quickly. Serbia just

:09:55. > :09:55.can't keep up. They have enjoyed the space of Buckinghamshire today,

:09:56. > :10:20.England. My grand-dad used to enjoy the open

:10:21. > :10:26.spaces of Buckinghamshire. He was manager of Wycombe. His

:10:27. > :10:32.opportunities for space were not that good after he got nicked! He

:10:33. > :10:42.was not a good boy. But that is perhaps a story for another day!

:10:43. > :10:51.Sliced. Very nearly into her own net. But across the goal it went.

:10:52. > :10:58.Not a good clearance at all by Jonovic. This is only her ninth

:10:59. > :11:00.appearance in the side. Not really been in the game. She is a player

:11:01. > :11:13.who should be closer to Williams. Five minutes left in the first half.

:11:14. > :11:32.England well in control. Another reason Ellen White is back

:11:33. > :11:35.in the side, Mark Sampson pin pointed her ability in the air. If

:11:36. > :11:40.you get a cross in the box, she is very fearless. She will get on the

:11:41. > :11:43.end of anything, she will put her head in there. And she is clinical

:11:44. > :11:48.in front of goal. And wants to score. She has that desire the get

:11:49. > :11:53.into positions. She has got herself into a couple of positions today.

:11:54. > :11:54.Not quite had the finish. But hopefully she will in the second

:11:55. > :12:10.half. Greenwood has a flag against her.

:12:11. > :12:15.Did she use a hand? I didn't think it was out of play. She is asking

:12:16. > :12:17.the question. I think they said the ball had gone out of play. But it

:12:18. > :12:35.was a close one. England players first to every loose

:12:36. > :12:43.ball. Serbia retreating ten behind the ball.

:12:44. > :12:56.A bit of hesitation for Serbia at the back. I don't think it was a

:12:57. > :13:01.personality. I think the referee got it right. Bronze with the cross and

:13:02. > :13:08.deflected off White. She gets a second chance and back to Daly. A

:13:09. > :13:15.goal on her England debut! 3-0. All smiles. They deserved that goal.

:13:16. > :13:20.Ellen White so unselfishly got the ball. She could have had a shot

:13:21. > :13:25.herself. But she squared to it Rachel Daly. That is nice on your

:13:26. > :13:29.debut to score. Again good build up play. Bronze and White and what on

:13:30. > :13:36.earth, I have no idea what is happening there. White should have

:13:37. > :13:43.had a shot. But she didn't. Squared it to Daly. I think Ellen white felt

:13:44. > :13:48.she needed to make up for the fact it was her deflection that took the

:13:49. > :13:56.ball away from Daly. But she gets the goal and England are 3-0 up.

:13:57. > :14:09.It is like the early World Cup qualifiers when England were so

:14:10. > :14:15.dominant. Smiljkovic. That was a good effort. If Serbia had been less

:14:16. > :14:22.conservative, they have players who can create danger, we could have

:14:23. > :14:24.seen a completely different game. Just a reminder of what they can

:14:25. > :14:45.create. Not a red shirt within what? 20

:14:46. > :14:54.yards? They have one centre forward. She has to hold the ball up. Bronze,

:14:55. > :14:57.not a good ball. That is the danger for England, they're so much in the

:14:58. > :15:28.comfort zone. Too easy. Carney into the box. Gets the shot

:15:29. > :15:32.away. Good play. Bronze plays it to Carney's path and it is a good

:15:33. > :15:38.positive touch. She does haven't the finish. She has had a good first

:15:39. > :15:43.half though Karen Carney. Carney and Williams, two of the most creative

:15:44. > :15:49.players at last summer's World Cup. But it almost as if Serbia haven't

:15:50. > :15:54.done any homework. Their resources of course do not compare to the

:15:55. > :15:58.resources the English FA are putting into the women's game. So we should

:15:59. > :16:03.take that into consideration. But they should have done more work on

:16:04. > :16:07.England than they have done. It is a developing football country and a

:16:08. > :16:11.lot of players have to go to other countries to improve their game if

:16:12. > :16:17.you like. So you can tell there is a massive gap between the two teams.

:16:18. > :16:21.But you would know Williams and Carney as key England players and

:16:22. > :16:33.players they have to stop and they haven't got anywhere near them.

:16:34. > :16:47.Tried to get it away to Poljak there. Frustrating role for the lone

:16:48. > :17:06.striker up front Radojicic. That got deflected. Comes to the far

:17:07. > :17:14.post. Bronze was coming in. It is a goal kick. Both full-backs are

:17:15. > :17:19.playing like wingers. The cross in and Bronze couldn't quite get

:17:20. > :17:24.anything on it to score. England do have three and Greenwood with the

:17:25. > :17:30.first, at the far post. Carney scored the second from the spot

:17:31. > :17:33.after White was fouled. And then on her debut, Rachel Daly scored the

:17:34. > :17:38.third three minutes before the break. England in pole position to

:17:39. > :17:40.go on and record a very big victory. An important victory. They're 3-0 up

:17:41. > :18:00.at the break. That is more like it from England.

:18:01. > :18:05.What did you make of that? Brilliant. There was flair,

:18:06. > :18:10.precision, there was real energy in that performance. Everything that we

:18:11. > :18:15.wanted England to provide us. Some of the goals were really, had such

:18:16. > :18:20.fantastic build ups. They have got width on the pitch and creativity. A

:18:21. > :18:25.breath of fresh air. How good were England, how bad were Serbia. I

:18:26. > :18:28.think England were that good. It was an inspiring performance. Everyone

:18:29. > :18:33.wants to get opt ball. They have had the tempo when they have needed it

:18:34. > :18:37.and when they have needed to be composed they're moving it around. I

:18:38. > :18:41.think it is difficult for Serbia. I don't think it is necessarily how

:18:42. > :18:45.bad Serbia were, it is just England were that good. It was always going

:18:46. > :18:50.to be tough for Serbia. England are ranked so many places above them

:18:51. > :18:55.that it is difficult for them. But I think England, the way they played,

:18:56. > :18:59.they have put it on Serbia and Serbia have now, they're back to the

:19:00. > :19:03.wall, they're block England and now it is the test - can England carry

:19:04. > :19:08.on that performance in the second half? Big holes in Serbia's defence.

:19:09. > :19:14.That led to the first goal from Greenwood. A lot of this is England

:19:15. > :19:21.stretching the play. The full-backs are both providing that width.

:19:22. > :19:27.Beautiful ball from Williams and a tidy finish. But Greenwood and

:19:28. > :19:35.Bronze have been doing this all the whole 45 minutes. She is checking

:19:36. > :19:39.where the player is, the right back is looking infield. Greenwood gets

:19:40. > :19:46.on her back shoulder and brilliant timing of the run and that is a

:19:47. > :19:51.clinical finish. Even if it doesn't go in, it is going to get a

:19:52. > :19:57.deflection. I thought Williams was going to shoot. She spotted the

:19:58. > :20:02.pass. It is a brilliant pass and Greenwood finished it brilliantly. A

:20:03. > :20:10.penalty made it two. Was it a penalty? I wasn't so sure. It is not

:20:11. > :20:15.much of a touch. Ellen's done well. She is going away from goal. If the

:20:16. > :20:20.referee hadn't have given it, I wouldn't have been shouting penalty.

:20:21. > :20:27.But technically she does get a push. I think it was a soft one. After a

:20:28. > :20:30.lot of delay, Carney does well to dispatch a perfect penalty. Anywhere

:20:31. > :20:36.else in the free kick the referee would give it as a free kick. How

:20:37. > :20:43.great for Rachel Daly to score on her debut. It is exactly what you

:20:44. > :20:49.want. You want somebody like Ellen white to settle her down and set her

:20:50. > :20:56.up. Ellen could have shot and that is a fantastic pull back. Rachel

:20:57. > :21:01.calls for this one and Ellen gets in the way and Ellen repays the favour.

:21:02. > :21:09.That is what you want. Calms you down and she has scored on her

:21:10. > :21:14.debut. A new strike partnership for England. How hard was Ellen White

:21:15. > :21:20.working? You know you will get that from Ellen. That is her trade mark.

:21:21. > :21:25.She loves a slide tackle. But she works hard and will always stretch

:21:26. > :21:31.the back line to create space. We see her start fresh and confident.

:21:32. > :21:35.This season for Notts she has been, she has been fantastic. Been linking

:21:36. > :21:41.up with with Rachel here for the club. And we knew she was going to

:21:42. > :21:48.bring that. She will make the centre halves drop in, she will shoot left

:21:49. > :21:54.foot, right foot. It is great to see her working like that. You know what

:21:55. > :21:58.you're going to get from her. She is hard working and will close down

:21:59. > :22:02.every ball. She has great movement and will run off the ball. She is

:22:03. > :22:11.fantastic. Things like that shot there, keepers are not expect it. To

:22:12. > :22:15.do something out of nothing. She scored one at the World Cup. That is

:22:16. > :22:21.the sign of a player with confidence. What will Mark Sampson

:22:22. > :22:27.be saying? I don't think she will change anything. For that second

:22:28. > :22:32.goal, Christiansen hustled the keeper and made it difficult for her

:22:33. > :22:37.to get hold of ball and that enabled Rachel to get her goal. She is

:22:38. > :22:46.combining well with the experience of Karen Carney and the others. So

:22:47. > :22:52.for me the midfield is working well. The full-backs need to keep their

:22:53. > :22:54.width. That is stretching Serbia and creating the gaps for England to

:22:55. > :22:59.prove their creativity. Scotland have made a perfect start to their

:23:00. > :23:05.qualifying campaign, winning their first five matches, last night they

:23:06. > :23:13.faced their nearest rivals Iceland in Falkirk. Watching was Paul

:23:14. > :23:19.Mitchell. Scotland are perfect in group one so far. Iceland have

:23:20. > :23:22.qualified for the last two European finals. They have yet to concede a

:23:23. > :23:35.goal. Free kick against Scotland that

:23:36. > :23:41.time. Getting involved in the physical sense. That is decent play

:23:42. > :23:48.from Iceland. But Mitchell was a bit clumsy. Free kick and not dealt with

:23:49. > :23:54.by Scotland at all. That was poor from Scotland. It is a simple goal,

:23:55. > :23:59.Hallbera Guony Gisladottir scores for just the second time for her

:24:00. > :24:06.country. They should have put it behind. She fooled her keeper and

:24:07. > :24:17.Fay could only watch it nestle in the net. In it goes. And just no

:24:18. > :24:18.finishing touch from Jane Ross. Again it is close, but not close

:24:19. > :24:40.enough. Great play from Scotland. It is in. The header away. A great

:24:41. > :24:57.ball in. A really strong head iras well. And the top scorer Harpa

:24:58. > :25:00.Thorsteinsdottir makes it 2-0. You can't ask for better and Harpa

:25:01. > :25:05.Thorsteinsdottir hammers home the header. Despite the best efforts of

:25:06. > :25:14.Jemma Fay. Scotland have to be careful here again. A tasty

:25:15. > :25:24.backpass. Fay knew it was wide. She had to accelerate. Smith put a bit

:25:25. > :25:34.of pep into the backpass. Another powerful header and another good

:25:35. > :25:38.goal. The mask didn't bother her and Gunnhilder Yrsa Jonsdottir scores

:25:39. > :25:46.for the first time in European qualification. That is a simple

:25:47. > :25:53.goal. Scotland are undone again. That was a poor pass. Here is the

:25:54. > :26:10.dangerous player. Into the middle thshgs this could be

:26:11. > :26:16.four and it is four. Veer veer and Scotland are being torn apart. It is

:26:17. > :26:22.clinical football from Iceland and a simple header from Margret Lara

:26:23. > :26:29.Vioarsdottir. There was a shout for hand ball. Here is a penalty. As

:26:30. > :26:35.clear a hand pal as you will see. The arm going up to the side. That

:26:36. > :26:44.is a penalty. Little for consolation for Scotland. Step up. Oh, it is not

:26:45. > :26:50.Scotland's night. Back off the post. Stepped up. The keeper the wrong

:26:51. > :26:55.way. Iceland have frustrated Scotland all night. This time it is

:26:56. > :26:59.the job of the frame to do so. Scotland had hoped for points, but

:27:00. > :27:12.they have been sunk by a strong Iceland side.

:27:13. > :27:17.STUDIO: Scotland's defeat sees Iceland move to to top of the group.

:27:18. > :27:23.Scotland are assured of a play-off place and play Belarus on Tuesday.

:27:24. > :27:34.Northern Ireland were also in action. Their captain scored twice

:27:35. > :27:41.in Belfast as they beat Georgina 4-0. Switzerland's win almost

:27:42. > :27:47.assures them their place in the finals. Northern Ireland are still

:27:48. > :27:51.in with a chance of qualification. Not such good news for the Republic

:27:52. > :27:59.of Ireland. Their defeat in Finland means their hopes of qualifying are

:28:00. > :28:06.hanging by a thread. Spain are in pole position in group two. Wales

:28:07. > :28:12.welcome Norway to Newport on Tuesday. Wales lie third in group

:28:13. > :28:19.eight. But all their remaining games are at home.

:28:20. > :28:25.Was that a reality check for Scotland? Possibly. Iceland are a

:28:26. > :28:30.strong team. But they will be disappointed with a 4-0 defeat at

:28:31. > :28:33.home. But there is still a lot to play for for Scotland and I believe

:28:34. > :28:40.they will go through in second place. They're guaranteed a spot in

:28:41. > :28:45.the play-offs. Yes. Consolation. The women's Euros start in July next

:28:46. > :29:45.year. But the men's are only six days away.

:29:46. > :29:56.It all starts next Friday. Before then we have a couple of programmes

:29:57. > :30:04.to get you in the mood. Thierry Henry gives us a history of the

:30:05. > :30:12.tournament on Tuesday. And the following evening, a special

:30:13. > :30:15.Football Focus. Tonight there is a special programme on BBC1,

:30:16. > :30:24.celebrating the life of the greatest sportsman of the 20th century.

:30:25. > :30:31.Muhammad Ali the Greatest starts at 9.30.

:30:32. > :30:36.If your striker, you're looking to score two or three in the

:30:37. > :30:41.second-half? It's a funny one, the second half can dip off after a

:30:42. > :30:45.great first. Mark Sampson might want to make changes and introduce other

:30:46. > :30:50.players. If you're a striker on the bench, you want to get on. Lucy

:30:51. > :30:54.Bronze getting into goal-scoring positions like at the World Cup last

:30:55. > :30:58.summer. That's one of her major strengths. Not only providing the

:30:59. > :31:07.width and crossing the ball, but she has the quality when the ball is put

:31:08. > :31:10.into the area to be really, really strong in the air. We saw her

:31:11. > :31:13.scoring critical goals at the World Cup. Her quality in this first half

:31:14. > :31:18.hasn't been quite up to touch and she'll be looking to improve in the

:31:19. > :31:22.second half. They are fighting for their spots. Of course, and they

:31:23. > :31:28.have do. That's the way it should be. I'd like to see Nikita Parris

:31:29. > :31:33.come on. I'd like to see her have an England debut and possibly get on

:31:34. > :31:36.the scoresheet. The second half is about to restart.

:31:37. > :31:41.Let's rejoin Jonathan Pearce and Sue Smith. Thanks very much. No changes

:31:42. > :31:46.for either side at half-time. England players in a huddle. What

:31:47. > :31:50.are your thoughts as we head into the second 45 minutes? They have to

:31:51. > :31:54.do the same as the first half. They have to keep the intensity and

:31:55. > :31:59.quality going forward. Keep getting Williams and Carney on the ball

:32:00. > :32:07.because they are causing problems. But remain concentrated at the back,

:32:08. > :32:10.don't make mistakes. Keep doing what you're doing, girls, because you're

:32:11. > :32:15.doing really well. The first time England have scored more than one

:32:16. > :32:18.goal in ten games now, since they Peter Stone 8-0. Serbia get us under

:32:19. > :32:36.way. -- since they beat Estonia 8-0. Don't be fooled by their

:32:37. > :32:42.starting formation. Only Cankovic is playing advanced. They have made a

:32:43. > :32:47.slight change. They've thrown Allegra Poljak, the number seven,

:32:48. > :32:55.into the front running role. The 17-year-old looked ill suited on the

:32:56. > :32:59.left-hand side. Favourite drawn -- withdrawn Radojicic, the number

:33:00. > :33:01.nine, to the left-hand side, may be to physically match the runs of Lucy

:33:02. > :33:21.Bronze. Already Fara Williams in space at

:33:22. > :33:24.the start of the second half. You'd have thought the coach of Serbia

:33:25. > :33:30.would have got at them and say you've got to close down on the

:33:31. > :33:52.England playmaking number four. Just doesn't seem to have happened.

:33:53. > :33:59.Ellen White went to bend it. Deflected away. Cleared out by

:34:00. > :34:16.Smiljkovic. England's players look in tiptop

:34:17. > :34:19.physical condition. They are certainly on top technically. Scott

:34:20. > :34:24.looks to add another and it was cleared away by Krstic. England

:34:25. > :34:29.looking for another at the start of the second half. Good save from the

:34:30. > :34:33.effort from Fara Williams. Mark Sampson gave the instruction to

:34:34. > :34:39.shoot on sight. That's exactly what being players are doing. This isn't

:34:40. > :34:45.a bad effort and it's a decent save from Nilsson. Another good start

:34:46. > :34:50.from England. Very positive. Terrific effort from Williams, her

:34:51. > :34:54.second of the game like that. She looks to add to those 37

:34:55. > :35:02.international goals. Three at the World Cup finals last year.

:35:03. > :35:45.Damjanovic, experienced player. Williams thought about another shot.

:35:46. > :35:50.Cleared away by Jonovic. Again they've reverted to a more defensive

:35:51. > :35:55.lineman up now. I thought they might come out in the second half to play

:35:56. > :36:02.adventurously and have a go, but no. Damage limitation. You mentioned

:36:03. > :36:06.earlier in the first half that when they do go forward, they do have

:36:07. > :36:12.players that can make things happen. I'd like to see them have a bit of a

:36:13. > :36:13.go. Go to maybe two up top, but they are showing no intent on even

:36:14. > :36:24.crossing the halfway line. White, leaning back... Only one

:36:25. > :36:31.place the ball can go and that's up in the air. Getting themselves into

:36:32. > :36:35.good positions. White was just falling backwards as she hit it so

:36:36. > :36:42.the ball was always going to go over the bar. Serbia have never qualified

:36:43. > :36:48.for the European Championships in five attempts, nor a World Cup in

:36:49. > :36:52.six qualifying campaigns. Fifth out of sixth in the last World Cup

:36:53. > :36:59.qualifying campaign. Only malt were below them, losing all ten games.

:37:00. > :37:05.Lovely run by Carney. Greenwood coming in, but just cleared away by

:37:06. > :37:09.Smiljkovic. Speaking about how good Carney and Williams are, we've not

:37:10. > :37:14.even mentioned Jill Scott and she's been excellent. Lovely backheel.

:37:15. > :37:18.She's won the ball back quickly and she's given it to the likes of

:37:19. > :37:42.Carney, who will go forward and create and make things happen.

:37:43. > :37:52.Ellen White! England have the fourth. Look at the expression of

:37:53. > :37:57.joy. She's worked so very hard to get back into the England line-up.

:37:58. > :38:02.She's one of the most deserving players in the England women's game

:38:03. > :38:06.and she gets her goal. So pleased for Ellen White. She works so hard

:38:07. > :38:12.and so deserves a chance. She's been playing well at club level and she

:38:13. > :38:16.works as socks off, gets a seven to good positions, but hasn't had the

:38:17. > :38:23.quality in front of goal until now. This is excellent play. Takes a

:38:24. > :38:28.touch. Again, falling backwards, but just manages to slot it into the top

:38:29. > :38:32.corner. She so deserves that goal, how she's played and how she's set

:38:33. > :38:36.up other players and created things. She needed that goal just for

:38:37. > :38:42.herself and you can see how much it means. Her family were out in

:38:43. > :38:47.Canada. We often bumped into them. She didn't have a great time, played

:38:48. > :38:52.a couple of games. An hour against Germany, I seem to remember. I think

:38:53. > :38:58.her last goal was against Turkey in the early games in World Cup

:38:59. > :39:07.qualifying. She had a bad injury. She really has deserved this today.

:39:08. > :39:14.Carney! Time to set her sights! And Christian servant! England have

:39:15. > :39:19.another. -- Christiansen. They are poaching goals now and they are

:39:20. > :39:25.running Serbia ragged. England are 5-0 up. Exactly what we wanted to

:39:26. > :39:29.see from England, goals, which they haven't been able to do in the last

:39:30. > :39:34.few games. Defensively they've been OK, but offensively they haven't

:39:35. > :39:39.been clinical. This is what the fans wanted to see. The crowd are on

:39:40. > :39:46.their feet and singing. A poacher's goal from Christiansen. Top-class

:39:47. > :39:50.finish. That's what she'll do. She'll make those late runs into the

:39:51. > :39:59.box, she's prepared to do that. They've got a nice England, today.

:40:00. > :40:04.-- a nice balance. Delighted manager. His game plan has worked.

:40:05. > :40:11.Left a couple of big names out of the squad in Aluko and Duggan. A few

:40:12. > :40:15.eyebrows raised. No player safe on previous reputation. They have to

:40:16. > :40:22.put in performances in training and he's made very, very clear. His team

:40:23. > :40:31.today have certainly got the message. Get forward quickly, pass

:40:32. > :40:35.the ball quickly and slickly. They've passed the ball much better

:40:36. > :40:41.today than they have in any of the other qualifiers so far. Go looking

:40:42. > :40:42.for the chances. Be hungry for the chances and take them. They've been

:40:43. > :40:55.hungry today. Christiansen's second of the

:40:56. > :41:00.European Championship qualifying campaign. She's had a terrific game.

:41:01. > :41:06.You have to pick player of the match later! I have no idea! Normally you

:41:07. > :41:13.could ask a kind commentator for some help, but you've got no chance.

:41:14. > :41:19.I'm on my own. You are. Serbia making a substitution. They are

:41:20. > :41:27.going to take Marija Ilic off, the defensive midfielder player. Sanda

:41:28. > :41:33.Malesevic is going to come on. She was a late introduction into the

:41:34. > :41:37.squad. A defensive midfielder player when you are 5-0 down suggests you

:41:38. > :41:41.haven't done your job, but she's worked hard. She's worked hard, but

:41:42. > :41:46.she's been poor, she's given the ball away a lot. She might have won

:41:47. > :41:49.it back at times, but straightaway she's given it away. You have to

:41:50. > :41:53.give credit to England for the way they've not allow them to pass the

:41:54. > :42:03.ball forward, but she hasn't had a great game. Malesevic came into the

:42:04. > :42:06.squad because of the withdrawal of Damnjanovic. She's a central

:42:07. > :42:15.midfield player. The long black hair. Fouled Daly, but the referee

:42:16. > :42:24.said no. The referee has been excellent, by the way. Referees get

:42:25. > :42:29.criticised every week, and in the women's game in particular, referees

:42:30. > :42:34.have been criticised. Pour in many of the World Cup finals games, but

:42:35. > :42:38.she's been top notch today. They are developing and getting better.

:42:39. > :42:49.Williams wants a goal today. She does. That's what she's looked

:42:50. > :42:54.for. She's had so much time to do that. She's been able to take a

:42:55. > :43:02.touch, look up, try to pick a spot. Hasn't quite done so yet, but I

:43:03. > :43:09.wouldn't bet against her. 5-0, England. 23 attempts on goal! Serbia

:43:10. > :43:13.have had one from Radojicic, who was their most likely player to score

:43:14. > :43:22.before they withdrew her into a deeper role. She looked despairing

:43:23. > :43:27.as it was whacked forward. A feel of the ball for Karen Bardsley, who's

:43:28. > :43:33.had so little to do. Name Karen Bardsley as man of the match, Sue!

:43:34. > :43:35.That will shake them up. You won't work again, but don't worry about

:43:36. > :43:48.that. Thanks for your help! I think England are going to make a

:43:49. > :43:53.substitution any moment now. It's going to be another debut. Nikita

:43:54. > :44:01.Parris will come on. Manchester city player who's been in good club form.

:44:02. > :44:07.Former Everton player. Overall, your thoughts of Rachel Daly on her

:44:08. > :44:11.debut? Good debut, good goal. Worked hard and defended from the front. I

:44:12. > :44:15.think she'll be happy with that performance and is now nice to see

:44:16. > :44:19.Nikita Parris. She's done ever so well for Manchester city. Another

:44:20. > :44:23.player who likes to dribble at players, gets across in. It's

:44:24. > :44:29.something she's really improved on. Her final ball. Been in the score

:44:30. > :44:33.for the last couple of games and makes her debut now. On the edge of

:44:34. > :44:42.the six yard area. Parris with her first touch! Wouldn't that have been

:44:43. > :44:48.something? Cankovic on the line denied her a dream goal. First touch

:44:49. > :44:52.and nearly making England's six goal. What an impression that would

:44:53. > :44:57.have been. Just in a good position to steer the ball towards goal.

:44:58. > :45:01.Ellen White couldn't quite get the final touch. That's what Parris will

:45:02. > :45:05.do, she'll find the little spaces and want to get on the ball and make

:45:06. > :45:10.things happen. Very confident player. Everton's Player of the

:45:11. > :45:14.Season a couple of years ago when they went down. Came through the

:45:15. > :45:18.Everton centre of excellence. Another good effort from Karen

:45:19. > :45:46.Carney. Back into the middle and out by Damjanovic.

:45:47. > :45:57.Serbia all over the place at the moment. They just want the coach to

:45:58. > :46:01.be able to get his engine going and get them out of there as soon as

:46:02. > :46:08.possible. The players fly to Serbia on the same plane tomorrow. England

:46:09. > :46:18.5-0 up. They will be the louder Crewe on that plane tomorrow.

:46:19. > :46:24.Certain things Serbia have done are very, very strange. That little

:46:25. > :46:26.passage of play. I don't know why they tried it. England are straight

:46:27. > :46:37.back on them. I'm also trying to play the ball out

:46:38. > :46:41.from the back, but when you have so many England players pressuring you,

:46:42. > :46:52.you just have to get rid. They've enjoyed it all, the young England

:46:53. > :46:59.followers. Tickets for England women's game is very attractively

:47:00. > :47:04.priced. Sensibly so by the FA. Just shy of the hour, 5-0. Parris is

:47:05. > :47:09.there. Carne! Is it over the line? Goals signalled and England have

:47:10. > :47:13.six. Carney from close range. They couldn't keep it out and they

:47:14. > :47:19.couldn't keep her at bay. How she's deserved that. Serbia are all over

:47:20. > :47:24.the place, they aren't marking players from set pieces or free

:47:25. > :47:29.play. A lovely ball in. Nikita Parris with the initial touch. Karen

:47:30. > :47:34.Carney is claiming it. When you whip in a ball like that, it's so

:47:35. > :47:40.difficult to defend. I think it's Karen Carney's goal. I think it goes

:47:41. > :47:47.off her wrong knee. She goes to strike it and it went off her left

:47:48. > :47:52.knee. She claims the goal. I don't think she cares. Just getting bodies

:47:53. > :47:54.in the box and they are hungry. They want to score more goals. So

:47:55. > :48:14.pleasing to see. Jill Scott won't get the headlines,

:48:15. > :48:19.but she's played very well. Lucy Bronze, stronger, more balanced,

:48:20. > :48:28.ruthless. We've said it before, hungry England team today.

:48:29. > :48:38.Karen Carney has taken her goal tally to 28 for her country today.

:48:39. > :48:51.England could have had another. -- and she could have had another.

:48:52. > :48:59.England are lining up another substitution. Gemma Davison is going

:49:00. > :49:10.to come on, I think. She's getting ready.

:49:11. > :49:20.Laura Bassett and Steph Houghton have done everything asked of them.

:49:21. > :49:31.Christian's return has been key as well for England. -- Christiansen's

:49:32. > :49:35.return. Looking for the forlorn Allegra Poljak. Just the one start

:49:36. > :49:41.in the European Championship qualifiers for her before today.

:49:42. > :49:59.She's been in the squad. She'll remember this one. Only 17.

:50:00. > :50:08.She's forced that corner and I wouldn't be surprised if she is on

:50:09. > :50:10.the end of it as well. I wonder if the Serbian defenders will be able

:50:11. > :50:26.to track Lucy Bronze. They haven't. She's gone for goal!

:50:27. > :50:31.It's in the back of the net! Carney was in there and gets the

:50:32. > :50:42.congratulations. England absolutely rampant now. 7-0. Why didn't they

:50:43. > :50:49.pick up Lucy Bronze? It was such an obvious move. Marking was awful. Is

:50:50. > :50:58.it an own goal? It's not Karen Carney. Did it come off the defender

:50:59. > :51:05.and then off Karen Carney's back? I think she's saying it's hers. Lucy

:51:06. > :51:09.Bronze found herself in space. No Serbia player marking her. Able to

:51:10. > :51:14.turn and whip it in. You just put it into a dangerous area and that's

:51:15. > :51:18.what she did and it led to another goal for England. Karen Carney

:51:19. > :51:26.claims a hat-trick. Could well have come off Nilsson. Really hard to

:51:27. > :51:30.see. To one is looking down to Carney as if to say, you claim it.

:51:31. > :51:42.It might have come off the goalkeeper's flank. England are 7-0

:51:43. > :51:55.up. Might have got a touch of Carney's foot as it went in.

:51:56. > :52:07.Gemma Davison is on for England. Jill Scott has gone off. She's

:52:08. > :52:11.wearing number 17. If you're Serbia player, it's the last thing you want

:52:12. > :52:15.to see, Gemma Davison coming on. She will get on the ball and want to

:52:16. > :52:30.dribble, take you on with lots of pace. It does hit Karen Carney! She

:52:31. > :52:44.just put her leg out hoping for the best. Patrick goal! -- hat-trick.

:52:45. > :52:48.She's been excellent. I don't understand... I don't really care,

:52:49. > :52:52.to be honest, but how did Serbia not know the corner was going to go to

:52:53. > :52:58.Lucy Bronze? Fairly obvious what England were going to go -- do.

:52:59. > :53:03.Simple errors, simple football. They haven't picked up players, their

:53:04. > :53:12.shape has been all over the place. Their passing has been poor. No idea

:53:13. > :53:17.how they drew with Belgium. Belgium offered a lot more when England laid

:53:18. > :53:21.them. There's the confirmation. Carney makes it seven and claims a

:53:22. > :53:33.hat-trick. Corner kick has been given. They are going to make a

:53:34. > :53:39.substitution, Serbia. Nina Blagojevic is going to come on.

:53:40. > :53:48.Marija Jonovic departs. Midfield player. Blagojevic comes on. She

:53:49. > :53:51.plays for Red Star Belgrade, who finished third this season. 19 years

:53:52. > :54:19.old. Good touch by White to Parris.

:54:20. > :54:21.Cleared away by Tenkov. Only as far as Parris again. Greenwood joining

:54:22. > :54:36.in. Carney looking for Houghton! Cleared

:54:37. > :54:46.away by Tenkov. Christiansen... Over the bar.

:54:47. > :54:54.I thought Steph Houghton might have scored. She beat the goalkeeper.

:54:55. > :54:59.Couldn't quite see where it had come down. Christiansen could have gone

:55:00. > :55:03.down. Really rash challenge from the defender. But she stayed her feet

:55:04. > :55:05.and couldn't quite get the ball where she wanted it to go, the back

:55:06. > :55:26.of the net. Offside. So important for the

:55:27. > :55:30.Serbian players to keep their discipline and keep it down to a

:55:31. > :55:31.manageable scoreline, but a very good day for Mark Sampson and

:55:32. > :55:51.England. Williams, they've failed to deal

:55:52. > :55:58.with her all day long. There's the pace from Davison. Can she finished?

:55:59. > :56:07.It nearly came out to White. So close to an eighth. Serbia have

:56:08. > :56:13.changed Poljak's position again. She's gone to a sort of makeshift...

:56:14. > :56:19.Well, I don't know, really. Left back? Left midfield? They are all at

:56:20. > :56:22.sea. Gemma Davison so lucky and so close to another. She showed her

:56:23. > :56:27.quality and her quick feet straightaway. Looking to dribble at

:56:28. > :56:32.the defence. Gets herself into the area. Just couldn't quite put the

:56:33. > :56:36.ball past the keeper. Straight at the goalkeeper so easy to save.

:56:37. > :56:42.Lovely quick feet from Gemma Davison. She'll be looking to make

:56:43. > :56:46.her mark on this game. Rachel Yankey said it at half-time. As a forward,

:56:47. > :56:52.you want to come on in this game because you will get so much of the

:56:53. > :57:27.ball. Lovely ball from Carney to Bronze. Forced off it by Damjanovic.

:57:28. > :57:42.England's record win is their teen- zero against Hungary away in October

:57:43. > :57:59.2005. -- 13-0. Substitute has given that away. Blagojevic.

:58:00. > :58:08.Carney has been excellent. So has Christiansen. Can't fault in England

:58:09. > :58:15.performance. -- any England performance. The full-backs are high

:58:16. > :58:21.and driving on purposefully. Parris is running in behind and looks for

:58:22. > :58:29.the return. Offside. Confident football by England. Should be

:58:30. > :58:32.confident at 7-0, mind you! I've been really impressed by England's

:58:33. > :58:36.decision-making. It's been their problem in a couple of games, the

:58:37. > :58:42.final ball. Tonight has been excellent and that's been the

:58:43. > :58:47.difference. Once more, they are having fun out there today, the

:58:48. > :58:51.England players. Great to see an expression of unbridled joy when

:58:52. > :58:55.they score a goal. All smiles. No posing. Grimacing. We see that in

:58:56. > :59:06.places elsewhere. Parris may be fast, but she's not

:59:07. > :59:18.jet heeled! Well, what does he do to repair his

:59:19. > :59:25.team before the return game in the week? They look totally dishevelled

:59:26. > :59:40.and dispirited. Parris went for it. I think that's England's 30th effort

:59:41. > :59:47.on goal. Very confident, Nikita Parris. Another player that will

:59:48. > :00:01.want to come on and make her mark, show what she can do. 30th attempt!

:00:02. > :00:08.17 of those on target. 7-0 up. Radojicic looking in despair.

:00:09. > :00:18.Plays at a decent level in Iceland. Such a difficult job for a lone

:00:19. > :00:25.striker. But when the ball has come to her, she hasn't held the ball up

:00:26. > :00:30.and brought other players in. She is very disheartened. Again look at the

:00:31. > :00:53.space. Freedom all day to play make. No

:00:54. > :00:59.pressure on Houghton and she was ten yards inside the half. They have

:01:00. > :01:01.dropped far too deep all game long Serbia and they have given it away

:01:02. > :01:31.again. The touch took it too wide. But a

:01:32. > :01:40.corner for England. Another substitution for England. Moore

:01:41. > :01:51.comes on. And Christiansen will be replaced. In comes Jade Moore, a

:01:52. > :01:53.Birmingham player, sixth in the league this season. Had a good spell

:01:54. > :02:28.of late. A strong challenge there by Tenkov.

:02:29. > :02:36.Wouldn't want to mess with her. She looks a formidable character! I

:02:37. > :02:41.think she is still burning with the fact that the penalty was given

:02:42. > :02:44.against her in the first half. She has not had a good game. She went

:02:45. > :03:17.across and got a bit muddly. Moore had a good World Cup. Shep has

:03:18. > :03:24.struggled with -- she has struggled with injury a bit this season. She

:03:25. > :03:25.is back playing for Birmingham. Good for her to get minutes under her

:03:26. > :03:40.belt. Birmingham are up to third. They

:03:41. > :03:47.have had a good run. They have had some good results and they have

:03:48. > :03:55.surprised a lot of people. Dammjanovic and the foul is give

:03:56. > :04:06.against Parris. But that is almost suicidal. Especially when got Parris

:04:07. > :04:10.there. She wants the keeper to come out. But if the keeper doesn't,

:04:11. > :04:14.you're to make a decision. The keeper has made a couple of decent

:04:15. > :04:19.saves. She has been out of position a couple of times and England have

:04:20. > :04:23.tried to catch her out. Made one good save in the first half. She

:04:24. > :04:28.just got back to push it away. I think it was from Farah Williams.

:04:29. > :04:43.She has not had any protection from her defence. Or her midfield! One of

:04:44. > :04:49.those days for Serbia. The decision tos against Radojicic. They have

:04:50. > :04:51.always played capably and England could depend on her in the World Cup

:04:52. > :05:01.finals when she played. Williams looking for Moore.

:05:02. > :05:20.Cankovic. Well that was simply to get the ball

:05:21. > :05:24.way from danger. As far as you can and hope that England don't come

:05:25. > :05:31.back at us. Because it has been like just a... White wave of England

:05:32. > :05:38.players, rolling forward. Time after time after time after time. A bright

:05:39. > :05:50.run by Davison, trying to feed Parris. Smiljkovic, she might groan,

:05:51. > :05:57.but she should have done better. That is offside against Bronze. We

:05:58. > :06:02.were talking about her, she made it clear what she thinks of the service

:06:03. > :06:07.up to her. It has been poor. Some of the deliveries from the back. She

:06:08. > :06:10.hasn't held it up at all. She has to do better herself. She is very much

:06:11. > :06:16.looks like she is blaming the others. But I don't think her

:06:17. > :06:18.quality has been good. There she is. Just delayed the pass out side and

:06:19. > :06:29.so England have the throw. Karen Carney's hat-trick will hog

:06:30. > :07:00.the headlines. Davison only on the bench for the

:07:01. > :07:10.Cup Final when Chelsea played so poorly. That was a strong challenge

:07:11. > :07:28.by Basset. Hat-tricks became the norm in the

:07:29. > :07:33.World Cup qualifying campaign for England. Carney got one. She got

:07:34. > :08:08.eight in all in qualifying for Canada. Not a good touch there.

:08:09. > :08:15.Wrong foot and goes wide. Good movement. Your full-back coming in

:08:16. > :08:19.off the line. Ball into White and she just set it for bronze. She was

:08:20. > :08:27.trying to curl it around. That could have been the eighth. But lovely

:08:28. > :08:34.movement and lovely set up. It was jvrss -- just on her wrong foot. It

:08:35. > :08:38.is straight out of the coaching manual, get your full-backs off the

:08:39. > :08:43.line. Serbia haven't been able to deal with it. It has been like six

:08:44. > :08:48.England players going forward. It is important to stress they have, the

:08:49. > :08:51.Serbia FA does not have the resources the English FA has to put

:08:52. > :08:58.into women's football. Not at this moment in time. They lack those

:08:59. > :09:03.resources. The level of the Serbian league is way below that of the set

:09:04. > :09:07.up in England with the Super League. We put that into perspective. Having

:09:08. > :09:13.said that, England have been very good and Serbia have been very bad!

:09:14. > :09:17.It is a lot of basics with the Serbian team today. They haven't got

:09:18. > :09:20.them right defensively and going forward. They have been able to pass

:09:21. > :09:29.the ball to each other. But England have been excellent. Straight

:09:30. > :09:38.through to the keeper. A few cheers there! She has seen the ball so

:09:39. > :09:42.rarely! And the time is drawing nigh, Sue Smith, to choose that

:09:43. > :09:49.player of the game. Such a difficult call. Parris has gone for to corner

:09:50. > :09:55.with the deflection. Not given. I don't think the referee really knew.

:09:56. > :10:00.She looked to her assistant. A good movement from Parris and a good

:10:01. > :10:04.first touch. She strikes... Don't know if it did. No, I think that is

:10:05. > :10:10.a goal kick. I think the referee was spot on there. Sometimes when a

:10:11. > :10:19.player protest, you think it must have come off the player. I know

:10:20. > :10:22.you're looking to me to give this player of the match. I think

:10:23. > :10:27.Williams has been excellent. She has come very close. Christiansen and

:10:28. > :10:35.Scott have had excellent games. Ellen White. I'm going through all

:10:36. > :10:39.the team now aren't I. I have to give it to Karen Carney. She has

:10:40. > :10:47.three goals, linked up play and yeah, got to give it to Karen Khan

:10:48. > :11:01.y. Carney. Went the wrong way around there didn't I? No clam! Well done.

:11:02. > :11:08.Sue Smith dithering over a decision. Will a stories I could tell. An

:11:09. > :11:15.England chance again. Davison. Oh she went for a backheel, a bit of

:11:16. > :11:18.show boating there. A real opportunity for an eighth goal.

:11:19. > :11:24.Could have gone on her own. A positive run. Having stolen the ball

:11:25. > :11:31.off Tenkov. Good anticipation from Davison. I thought she was going to

:11:32. > :11:34.go all the way. She tried to be too creative with the backheel. Parris

:11:35. > :11:42.was free. Could have been a pass into the back of the net. I think

:11:43. > :11:48.England need Gemma Davison flying and in form. A positive influence. A

:11:49. > :11:53.good player. Williams has been excellent. Jade Moore having a look

:11:54. > :12:18.what's on. It is a training ground exercise

:12:19. > :12:27.here. Parris looking for the foul. Not given. The Serbian players are

:12:28. > :12:37.getting up. Tenkov brandishing an imaginary yellow card there. And a

:12:38. > :12:46.crowd agreeing with your decision there, Sue. I'm glad about that.

:12:47. > :12:52.Just announced in the stadium that Karen Carney is the player of the

:12:53. > :12:56.match. Could have been one of many. Farah Williams has been excellent.

:12:57. > :13:03.Gill Scott was terrific. Both full-backs. Could go through the

:13:04. > :13:08.team. That is why it has been such a convincing performance. Everybody

:13:09. > :13:14.has played well. Won their individual battles, which is what

:13:15. > :13:19.managers say to do. That is the most blatant shirt pull we have seen all

:13:20. > :13:26.day from Tenkov. A moment ago she was asking for an England player to

:13:27. > :13:33.be yellow-carded. She is getting frustrated. Don't know thousand cope

:13:34. > :13:36.with England's movement. She can play further forward. We thought she

:13:37. > :13:41.was going to play further up the pitch. A midfield sort of destroyer.

:13:42. > :13:47.Scored three goals at international level. But she has played deep and

:13:48. > :13:53.has not looked comfortable at times. None of them have. It will be

:13:54. > :13:56.Williams. Has it worked? Is this a decoy. I don't think. I think they

:13:57. > :14:12.just got it wrong slam! The big question is how does the

:14:13. > :14:18.Serbian manager change things for the game in midweek? That will be

:14:19. > :14:22.tough. When you have been beaten 7-0, how you get your players up for

:14:23. > :14:26.the next game and ready and confident. They have got to start

:14:27. > :14:34.with stopping some of England's key players like Williams and Carney.

:14:35. > :14:42.Having a go, they have just sat back and allowed England all the space

:14:43. > :14:52.and all the time. I have not really answered that question, have I?

:14:53. > :15:07.England could freshen the starting eleven up.

:15:08. > :15:18.I would be surprised if Ellen White doesn't start in Serbia, because

:15:19. > :15:23.though Parris and earlier on Daly can play up front, they're different

:15:24. > :15:26.sort of players. I think they need White for her strength. And her

:15:27. > :15:40.experience. She helps the younger players. The disgruntled Radojicic

:15:41. > :15:44.is replaced and on comes Markovic. She had a difficult job to do when

:15:45. > :15:49.your defence is conceding and she has been asked to do a lone

:15:50. > :16:00.front-running role. She has not helped herself. On comes Markovic.

:16:01. > :16:05.She had a spell in England. She played in the west country at

:16:06. > :16:21.Kensham town. Work to do for Laura Basset. She did

:16:22. > :16:45.it comfortably in the end. Parris goes for it. All the

:16:46. > :16:50.substitutes have looked lively. Parris, even after a slip, that is

:16:51. > :16:56.how confident she is. That is what she dos for Manchester City, gets

:16:57. > :17:00.the ball and looks to have a shot at goal or beat a player. You spoke of

:17:01. > :17:08.hunger, that is what England have shown. When they were beating

:17:09. > :17:13.Belarus and Montenegro, I can't remember them having as many goal

:17:14. > :17:17.attempts. That is what Mark Sampson wanted to see, more creativity,

:17:18. > :17:22.drive and determination and ruthlessness and he has seen it all

:17:23. > :17:37.today. Well done to Mark Sampson and his management team there.

:17:38. > :18:05.We are into stoppage time, the three minutes. Can England get an eighth?

:18:06. > :18:18.A bit of a tired pass that one. So a win in the return game on Tuesday

:18:19. > :18:26.would virtually guarantee England a top two place. And it would

:18:27. > :18:32.guarantee England a top two place and would they qualify as one of the

:18:33. > :18:36.best second placed teams? Yes they very probably would. So as long as

:18:37. > :18:40.they win in Serbia, I think they're in the European Championship finals.

:18:41. > :18:49.Barring a huge collapse in their final games. Finishing second

:18:50. > :18:54.wouldn't be good enough. They would need to go to Belgium and get a

:18:55. > :18:59.result. There is Alex Scott. Will she play in the return game.

:19:00. > :19:00.Captained Arsenal at Wembley to the Cup Final. A special moment for her

:19:01. > :19:24.there. Sue, your over all thoughts. An

:19:25. > :19:28.excellent performance. We wanted a good performance. We wanted goals.

:19:29. > :19:33.That is what we have got. Serbia have been poor. We have to give

:19:34. > :19:37.credit to England and how Mark Sampson set them up. All the players

:19:38. > :19:43.have given everything going forward and defensively. Here they come in

:19:44. > :20:01.search of an eighth. It nearly came to Parris.

:20:02. > :20:10.Cankovic can't be an effective No 10 within ten yards of her penalty

:20:11. > :20:14.area. If they came with damage limitation they had to get hold of

:20:15. > :20:23.Williams and Carney and they have failed to do so. Poljak, a learning

:20:24. > :20:36.experience for the teenager. The harsh reality of international

:20:37. > :20:43.football for some of these Serbian players. Davison cuts it in. Parris

:20:44. > :20:48.poked it off the keeper's chest. White denied by the keeper. Moore

:20:49. > :20:53.follows up. And the full-time whistle blows. England denied an

:20:54. > :20:57.eighth right at the end. But a very satisfactory day for Mark Sampson.

:20:58. > :21:02.His game plan came off in style with a hat-trick for Karen Carney. The

:21:03. > :21:08.highlight of the afternoon. Ellen White is back in the side, among the

:21:09. > :21:13.goals too. Daly on her debut got one. Greenwood started the ball

:21:14. > :21:18.rolling. Christiansen scoring as well. A really good day for England

:21:19. > :21:23.and they have stamped their authority on the Group F they go to

:21:24. > :21:30.Serbia and win, they're surely there at the finals. Well done to England.

:21:31. > :21:37.A hapless Serbia. A good day for Rachel Daly getting the goal. Big

:21:38. > :21:39.final score for England. They have beaten Serbia handsomely. England 7,

:21:40. > :21:50.Serbia 0. So England close the gap on Belgium

:21:51. > :21:54.at top of Group 7 to one point with a game in hand. England play in

:21:55. > :21:59.Serbia on Tuesday. By then they should know that a win will

:22:00. > :22:06.guarantee a place in the finals. Their next home qualifier is against

:22:07. > :22:12.Estonia in September. We will have live coverage of that match. Before

:22:13. > :22:19.the group decider between Belgium and England. The bad news is you

:22:20. > :22:26.both got your prediction wrong. But seven goals. It was a wonderful

:22:27. > :22:31.performance from England. It was not about how poor Serbia was, but they

:22:32. > :22:36.imposed their style of play and their formation on Serbia and the

:22:37. > :22:39.crispness of the passing was wonderful, the final third was

:22:40. > :22:45.fantastic. We saw some creative flair and we got goals. We should be

:22:46. > :22:50.able to cross to Joe with player of the match Karen Carney. England

:22:51. > :22:54.hat-tricks don't come along often. How special was that? Yes I don't

:22:55. > :23:03.know too much about two of the goals. It is good to get seven at

:23:04. > :23:07.home. To score a lot and we played well was the main thing and to get

:23:08. > :23:13.the Lionesses on the map. Was the third the strangest goal you have

:23:14. > :23:20.scored. Know nothing, I went in with my head and it came off my foot. I

:23:21. > :23:24.will take any of them as it comes. How excited are you to play Serbia

:23:25. > :23:28.again in a few days. You're always excited to represent your country

:23:29. > :23:32.and we have found our rhythm. So we are excited and we need to recover

:23:33. > :23:38.well. We fly tomorrow. So enjoy family time and be grateful to the

:23:39. > :23:44.fans that came today and another sell-out crowd and hopefully we will

:23:45. > :23:50.sell out again. Aw you're the player of the match. Thank you. Not quite

:23:51. > :23:55.sure how she scored that third one. How impressive was she? She was

:23:56. > :24:04.fantastic from the first minute. She played in the pocket, wanted to get

:24:05. > :24:09.on the ball. It was a good penalty. And you know she wanted to take this

:24:10. > :24:17.game. She yus got in the box and got the goals. She linked up well with

:24:18. > :24:23.Williams. A really fluid performance. They looked like they

:24:24. > :24:28.have been playing, the 279 caps, they looked like they played

:24:29. > :24:35.together before. They looked like a team who knew what each one was

:24:36. > :24:40.going to do. You see the third goal. She watches that back, she will

:24:41. > :24:44.think it is a fantastic goal. How well deserve for Ellen White to

:24:45. > :24:50.score with that strike. You could see how much it meant to her from

:24:51. > :24:55.the look on her face. She wanted to make an impression coming back into

:24:56. > :25:00.the squad. It has been so tight with so many forwards in contention.

:25:01. > :25:05.Ellen White's entire game proves why she should be in the squad. It is a

:25:06. > :25:11.great finish. You see the touch with the right foot. Fakes it on the left

:25:12. > :25:18.foot and it is such a fantastic strike. Totally deserved that.

:25:19. > :25:23.Fantastic finish. Shows how much passion she has to play. We should

:25:24. > :25:32.be able to hear from Ellen White now. That was a much improved

:25:33. > :25:37.performance. What was the difference? I think patience, we

:25:38. > :25:41.have had a great training week and we moved the ball around a lot. It

:25:42. > :25:47.is about time. We scored a lot of goals for the crowd. We have had a

:25:48. > :25:53.great week and it is pleasing to see Raich Daly -- Rachel Daly score and

:25:54. > :25:58.Parris come on. We are delighted and looking forward to the away leg.

:25:59. > :26:03.Seven goals and five scorers. How pleasing is that? Yes, that is what

:26:04. > :26:07.we want, we want to be scoring and we are pleased with 7-0 and to have

:26:08. > :26:13.so many people scoring. We look forward to the next game. Mark, that

:26:14. > :26:21.was a fantastic result, how pleased were you with the performance? We

:26:22. > :26:25.were mrezed, it -- pleased, it was important to be clinical. The way

:26:26. > :26:29.they have been all week is exceptional and they deserved that

:26:30. > :26:33.performance. You can feel it when they get the preparation right they

:26:34. > :26:39.can produce that. The goals came from all over the pitch. How happy
