:00:33. > :00:40.Hello again. Thursday at the Crucible in Sheffield, in this 2017

:00:41. > :00:44.Betfred World Championship, was the start of the second round. The first

:00:45. > :00:48.of those last 16 matches to get going featured the world above three

:00:49. > :00:53.and the 2015 world champion here, Stuart Bingham. You might recall in

:00:54. > :00:56.round one he saw off the challenge of another former winner here, Peter

:00:57. > :01:02.Ebdon. Peter Ebdon is on record as saying he fancies Kyren Wilson, from

:01:03. > :01:06.Kettering, to become a world champion here within the next three

:01:07. > :01:10.years. Peter has a good eye for talent. In fact, it was he who first

:01:11. > :01:15.spotted Kyren Wilson's talent, when he was only six years of age. But

:01:16. > :01:21.with that potential translates into quality on the table today -- but

:01:22. > :01:24.will that potential? In this best of 25 frames match played over three

:01:25. > :01:27.sessions we'll be seeing eight frames in the company of the

:01:28. > :01:32.aforementioned Peter Ebdon and Willie Thorne.

:01:33. > :01:39.COMMENTATOR: My co-commentator will be breaking

:01:40. > :01:47.up the first frame, remember now, it's the best of 25. This is eight

:01:48. > :01:51.frames in this first session. Peter, I know you are a big fan of Kyren

:01:52. > :01:57.Wilson and I think it's 50-50, this game. It's a fascinating battle in

:01:58. > :02:01.prospect. One of the game's great ambassadors and champions, former

:02:02. > :02:06.world champion in Stuart Bingham, one of the hardest workers on the

:02:07. > :02:10.circuit. Deserves absolutely everything he gets from the game,

:02:11. > :02:12.against one of the game's great young talent and a future champion,

:02:13. > :02:25.for sure. That's not a bad way to start. It's

:02:26. > :02:30.the first shot you play, if you get them you get a boost and think,

:02:31. > :02:35.that's handy, I'm cueing well. Like all of the good players these days,

:02:36. > :02:39.rather than play a shot for nothing, they play a shot for something.

:02:40. > :02:48.Yellow or brown, it doesn't matter which.

:02:49. > :02:55.He's playing the brown. He's played this nicely, trying to get to the

:02:56. > :02:58.left of the black so he can pot that and flick the Reddaway. He could

:02:59. > :03:02.have done with that coming down another six inches for that to be a

:03:03. > :03:16.certainty. I'm not too sure he can do that, without moving the black.

:03:17. > :03:21.If that was another foot further down it would have been a very easy

:03:22. > :03:23.shot to flick the red away from the black. As it is now, safety shot

:03:24. > :03:52.coming up. I know, Peter, you were practising

:03:53. > :03:57.with Kyren before the World Championship. In practice, he must

:03:58. > :04:01.be a really heavy scorer, I should imagine? Yes, he's a wonderful

:04:02. > :04:05.player, great all-round player. Excellent safety player. His long

:04:06. > :04:10.game is tremendous. Scores very heavily in amongst the balls. One of

:04:11. > :04:19.the best players with the rest I've ever seen. And also very central

:04:20. > :04:22.striking. Being able to play an excellent playing ball games are to

:04:23. > :04:28.be perfectly honest, he really doesn't have any weaknesses in his

:04:29. > :04:33.game, and in my honest professional opinion he just needs a little bit

:04:34. > :04:38.more experience. But he's certainly capable of winning this tournament.

:04:39. > :04:40.He's good enough, that's for sure. Has a very, very tough opponent here

:04:41. > :04:46.in Stuart Bingham though. It's a fascinating match in

:04:47. > :05:18.progress, that's for sure. That's one of the things I like

:05:19. > :05:25.about Kyren Wilson, he always plays the attacking shot. I don't think

:05:26. > :05:32.he's got the angle to get onto the black. Never afraid to play the

:05:33. > :05:36.right shot. A slight chance he could just run through and play the black,

:05:37. > :05:37.but that's going to be very difficult, so I doubt whether he'll

:05:38. > :05:54.play that. He played it in off the left-hand

:05:55. > :05:59.jaw, actually. This is really tough, if he decides to take this on. He's

:06:00. > :06:04.very aggressive, very attacking. These are really tough.

:06:05. > :06:19.Very interesting to see Stuart Bingham, actually. He's had a new

:06:20. > :06:24.waistcoat made for today's match and he has a Ruby back on his way and of

:06:25. > :06:27.course that is the 40th anniversary of the Crucible. I think it's a nice

:06:28. > :06:35.touch. Celebrating 40 years at the Crucible

:06:36. > :06:53.with a Ruby back. I must admit, I thought it was a

:06:54. > :07:19.green backed waistcoat. There's the badge the players have,

:07:20. > :07:21.40th anniversary of the championship and we've got at least another ten

:07:22. > :07:36.years to come. That squared up a little bit off the

:07:37. > :07:41.second question, actually. I thought that was going to be perfect.

:07:42. > :07:47.Doesn't seem to be sliding off the second cushion the way they normally

:07:48. > :07:53.do, Peter. Well, they've only been recrossed recently as well, so he

:07:54. > :07:56.should be getting some slip and slide from the questions -- they

:07:57. > :08:15.have been recovered. That time, there was lots of slide.

:08:16. > :08:22.If this red goes, he certainly won't be having the cue ball replaced.

:08:23. > :08:29.Obviously very tight. But from Stuart's body language, this does

:08:30. > :08:32.go. That's really tight. You can certainly see the left-hand jaw, as

:08:33. > :08:35.we can see from that picture there, but we talk about players pinching

:08:36. > :08:37.the pocket sometimes. He's going to have to pinch the pocket to pot

:08:38. > :08:50.this. And he has done, nicely. Well done.

:08:51. > :08:56.He escaped from the snooker. May decide to go into that cluster of

:08:57. > :09:01.six reds here just to open them up. He can play at a pretty pace as well

:09:02. > :09:02.if you wanted to. He's not even played to go into them, but he may

:09:03. > :09:32.regret that in a moment. Stuart played that very well. Never

:09:33. > :09:39.easy when you are digging down. Onto the cue ball. With the butt of the

:09:40. > :09:42.cue raised in the air. It's very easy to put some unintentional and

:09:43. > :09:57.unwanted side on. He's not in prime position. Simply

:09:58. > :10:06.because he's having to stretch on the screen, may end up playing the

:10:07. > :10:08.shot with the rest. He'll be standing around off two cushions and

:10:09. > :10:14.hopefully avoiding the yellow and blue.

:10:15. > :10:23.He avoided the yellow. Didn't avoid the blue, but that's OK. Well

:10:24. > :10:27.played. It's in your eye line when you are playing that shot, you want

:10:28. > :10:30.to finish anywhere around the blue and that's why he got very close to

:10:31. > :10:39.the blue, as Peter thought he might do. This was the reason I thought he

:10:40. > :10:43.may have played into the bunch, he may have a slight angle here. If

:10:44. > :10:53.not, he's going to have to play for the red on the side cushion.

:10:54. > :10:58.This is where the work starts. He has to finish low on this next

:10:59. > :11:23.black. Always interesting to see how

:11:24. > :11:28.players play this particular shot. To get it absolutely perfect

:11:29. > :11:31.community to hit the joint of the red Kamouna three reds in front, the

:11:32. > :11:35.joint on one of the right-hand side in the middle one, hit the joint of

:11:36. > :11:39.those two, that will spread them far and wide. If you hit it full ball,

:11:40. > :11:43.you won't get a lot of movement. That's the problem, you can't get

:11:44. > :11:47.the movement. If he'd caught either of those half ball, they'd have

:11:48. > :11:54.moved a lot better. Watch how he hits it full ball.

:11:55. > :11:59.I think he'll consider himself a little unfortunate, because he

:12:00. > :12:03.played with 90 of pace and got plenty of action on the cue ball,

:12:04. > :12:11.but as you say, didn't quite get the correct cannon. This is tough. Wow.

:12:12. > :12:19.I thought that was in for a second. It was a very good effort. And

:12:20. > :12:26.there's a gap. There's always a gap. As JB says, there's always a gap. So

:12:27. > :12:27.that was the first real chance of Stuart Bingham. Ina May not get

:12:28. > :12:47.another one in this frame. Kyren has finished a bit straight on

:12:48. > :12:54.the black. If he does have plenty of cue power.

:12:55. > :13:02.He may be playing the deep screw for the left red into the centre. That's

:13:03. > :13:10.what is played for and he's got into it too well. I think he's just OK.

:13:11. > :13:15.Interesting to watch the white bear, because it's a brand-new cloth, it

:13:16. > :13:33.skidded and the side spin took and the screw back, excellent.

:13:34. > :13:43.Playing for the bottom red of the four. He played a cannon. Don't

:13:44. > :13:46.blame him for that. Just watch this black he played in the previous tie.

:13:47. > :13:50.Because it is a brand-new cloth, sometimes they skip through. It

:13:51. > :13:57.seemed to stop for a while, then speed up. A brilliant shot. To be

:13:58. > :14:00.the perfectly honest it's a good job he didn't get any sort of bounce off

:14:01. > :14:01.the side cushion otherwise he would have snooker himself behind the

:14:02. > :14:13.blue, but it was a wonderful shot. It was a very good indication of

:14:14. > :14:17.just how much cue power Kyren Wilson possesses. This is an excellent

:14:18. > :15:06.chance now to take this first frame of the morning. Afternoon, rather.

:15:07. > :15:11.This really is a fascinating clash, because both of these top players

:15:12. > :15:21.score very heavily in amongst the balls when they are playing well. I

:15:22. > :15:24.really fascinating encounter. That wasn't the greatest positional shot

:15:25. > :15:28.in the world from Kyren there. But he's very good with the rest,

:15:29. > :15:34.normally. This shouldn't be too much of a problem.

:15:35. > :15:38.And that's a nice little cannon to hold perfect position for the pink

:15:39. > :15:59.into the left centre. Well played. Maybe perhaps should have had a look

:16:00. > :16:04.at the black there. The only reason I'm saying that his age will need

:16:05. > :16:10.the brown at the moment. If he'd got two blacks he'd have been 22 infant

:16:11. > :16:21.by the time it came to the brown. -- 22 in front.

:16:22. > :16:26.The way up the brown and the way these pockets play, it's a lot

:16:27. > :16:29.easier playing off the black cushion along the cushion, but you'd

:16:30. > :16:33.probably want to move the brown into play, rather than drop behind it,

:16:34. > :16:38.wouldn't you? Yes, because if you get right behind the brown, you have

:16:39. > :16:51.to play at a dead weight, really, to give the pocket a chance of

:16:52. > :16:57.accepting the ball. And at least if the cannon goes wrong, you can then

:16:58. > :17:01.play a good safety shot. It doesn't look like he has the angle to bring

:17:02. > :17:05.the brownout. You may be able to play off the side cushion. I think

:17:06. > :17:10.he's come an inch too far. May have to play this with a lot of side. He

:17:11. > :17:15.will be playing the cannon here, make no mistake.

:17:16. > :17:26.Whenever you play this side with power, it's a tricky shot. There's

:17:27. > :17:32.the side, that was the cannon. Missed it. Now then, absolutely no

:17:33. > :17:40.value at all in going for the pot, but how does he get safe? Well,

:17:41. > :17:45.knowing Kyren and the fact that he's very aggressive and a very attacking

:17:46. > :17:50.player, I wouldn't be surprised if he took Chris brown on. I'm not

:17:51. > :17:57.saying it's the right shot but he's got a tough safety shot. I can't see

:17:58. > :18:00.a safety shot, can you? Unless he played it cushion first and tried to

:18:01. > :18:06.get the brown very thin, but the Brownies coming into open play, so

:18:07. > :18:15.that's not a good choice. No. Yes, faced with a dilemma here. An

:18:16. > :18:18.incredibly tough pot on an equally difficult -- or an equally difficult

:18:19. > :18:23.safety shot. I think he was thinking about pushing the brown onto the

:18:24. > :18:26.green side cushion for a second, but that would leave a very simple

:18:27. > :18:34.safety shot. I think he's going for this.

:18:35. > :18:40.That was tough. He's been very, very fortunate there. I didn't think

:18:41. > :18:44.there was any in the world he could play the slow pot and not leave it

:18:45. > :18:50.on should he miss it, but that's exactly what's happened. Stuart has

:18:51. > :18:56.to make sure the brown comes to at least behind the brown spot again.

:18:57. > :19:14.This is very good, this is tight. Just drifted a little bit too much.

:19:15. > :19:27.This is certainly a thin neck if he decides to take this on. -- snick.

:19:28. > :19:50.And although it's not easy, this is a chance for Stuart.

:19:51. > :19:59.I think he slightly erred on the side Wood side of caution. Yes, it's

:20:00. > :20:03.always better thin than thick, because the cue ball stays around if

:20:04. > :20:07.you get it fixed. This is three shots on the trot, very similar.

:20:08. > :20:11.Looking at the potting angle again. You'd like to get the white where it

:20:12. > :20:13.is now, he has have a chance of getting away with it. If it goes in

:20:14. > :20:25.you have a long blue. He's played in and out of baulk. Has

:20:26. > :20:37.he got a good kiss, or a bad one? A bad one.

:20:38. > :21:19.23 points ahead, with only 18 on the table.

:21:20. > :21:27.Half chance for Stuart Bingham here, the regular shot to nothing.

:21:28. > :21:56.It's quite a long way away. I'm sure this red will pass the green.

:21:57. > :22:02.I think he can screw directly back, but he could overscrew this. He's

:22:03. > :22:08.playing for the red that's free on the left-hand side of the pink. He

:22:09. > :22:11.was so concerned about overscrewing it, he's slightly overscrewed it. --

:22:12. > :22:27.he's slightly underscrewed it. It's not an ideal angle. Whichever

:22:28. > :22:33.of these two reds he decides to take on, one on each side of the table.

:22:34. > :22:38.As I mentioned previously, he is normally a very good rest player.

:22:39. > :22:56.He caught that red half ball rather than pottable, he'd have been

:22:57. > :23:07.perfect on the black. That's the reason Peter says he's unlucky and I

:23:08. > :23:34.agree with him. Foul and a miss. And possibly thought that, ...

:23:35. > :23:39.Clever that, didn't want to hit it on the right-hand side obviously

:23:40. > :23:41.because that would have left an easy red. Got it wrong first time, got it

:23:42. > :23:54.perfect the second. A good opportunity here for Stuart

:23:55. > :24:00.to get the cue ball behind the green on the baulk cushion.

:24:01. > :24:17.He's not judged the angle very well where.

:24:18. > :24:29.This is quite a thin snick woman needs to be careful with the in off.

:24:30. > :24:31.-- this is quite a thin snick will stop he needs to be careful with the

:24:32. > :24:47.in off. Is a tendency on those safety shots

:24:48. > :24:52.to go slightly too thin, because if you go to thick, OK, the in off is

:24:53. > :24:55.not too much of a problem but if the cue ball rattles in the jaws of the

:24:56. > :24:58.pockets it's very easy to leave your opponent an easy opportunity.

:24:59. > :25:02.Meanwhile Stuart Bingham has played a much better safety shot. That's

:25:03. > :25:06.where the cue ball should have been on his previous safety shots. That's

:25:07. > :25:24.much better. Now, if his red was dead straight

:25:25. > :25:28.along the baulk cushion, it's a good safety shot but he's left a slight

:25:29. > :25:31.angle. He could take it on and go for the black but it's too straight

:25:32. > :25:37.for that. It looks like it's possible to put this red in. But

:25:38. > :26:28.it's as fine as you like, isn't it? I don't blame him for playing it

:26:29. > :26:31.like this. It's a difficult pot, but he's unlucky to have brought that

:26:32. > :27:39.red back into play. Very easy for Kyren.

:27:40. > :27:44.We've already mentioned that Kyren is a very attacking and very

:27:45. > :27:51.aggressive player. I think he'll be taking the opportunity here to play

:27:52. > :27:59.hard stone screw shot into the pink, scatter the reds.

:28:00. > :28:02.I certainly don't think that's how he played it. He missed the intended

:28:03. > :28:18.cannon. So that looks like end of break.

:28:19. > :28:22.Needs to put the disappointment of that opportunity wasted, really, out

:28:23. > :28:37.of his mind and play good safety shot.

:28:38. > :28:56.He's less Stuart Bingham something tempting.

:28:57. > :29:19.Not quite settled yet, this morning, Stuart Bingham.

:29:20. > :29:26.Just came around to see if the potting angle is OK on this right.

:29:27. > :29:29.He virtually screw it near the white because his virtual impossible for

:29:30. > :29:33.the colours are going, that is what he has done and played it very

:29:34. > :29:45.nicely. About the kiss on the brown it was perfect. What a break! He has

:29:46. > :29:54.a nice angle on the green. To go into the rates, should he choose to

:29:55. > :29:56.do that. There is the possibility of a plant that can be made at the

:29:57. > :30:19.bottom of the attack. He may well be on that plant and be

:30:20. > :30:24.able to make this pot to be honest he was very fortunate to finish on

:30:25. > :30:29.this plants like this? The green would have been easier shot to play.

:30:30. > :30:36.He doesn't have to do anything with the cue ball because a half ball

:30:37. > :30:40.will take him nicely onto the black. There is a gap between the two rates

:30:41. > :30:44.directly above the black and if he hits the red in between those two

:30:45. > :30:51.rates he will be plumb on to read and so this is a good chance now.

:30:52. > :30:57.The brown was rather fortunate, but that is the kiss we were talking

:30:58. > :31:01.about and now this is a frame-winning opportunity. It was

:31:02. > :31:05.interesting to see before the previous shot by Kyren Wilson held

:31:06. > :31:09.up his hand to apologise to Stuart Bingham, he realised he was very

:31:10. > :31:20.fortunate to finish up on that plant there. This is not absolutely

:31:21. > :31:27.straightforward because you have got the difficulty of the usage of the

:31:28. > :31:38.spider and he also needs to avoid the cannon on the red and the black.

:31:39. > :32:13.That is really well played. He could not have played that better.

:32:14. > :32:19.Once again there is an angle because all of the reds are in the way of

:32:20. > :32:22.one another and there is just the one made in the middle of the six

:32:23. > :32:26.that will be left that will pass into the right-hand corner pocket

:32:27. > :32:42.but I think you will play Another cannon here. There may even

:32:43. > :32:48.be another plant there. Just offset into the corner black pocket. That

:32:49. > :32:57.was nicely played, he left himself read in middle. After this bread,

:32:58. > :33:04.all of the reds are available, he doesn't have to play anymore

:33:05. > :33:12.cannons. I am a little bit concerned for his supporters because he hasn't

:33:13. > :33:16.settled yet, his pace of play, or his pace of cue ball and his safety

:33:17. > :33:21.at his break-building has been a stray so far this afternoon. He used

:33:22. > :33:31.to play morning sessions but we have not started until 1pm today. The

:33:32. > :33:37.break goes to 36 and the lead goes to 43, so two more rates and to

:33:38. > :34:54.colours and Kyren Wilson will lead 2-0.

:34:55. > :35:12.59. The frame is now safe. Can he get the first century of this match?

:35:13. > :35:16.Played for the slightly more difficult red, played to get around

:35:17. > :35:23.the back of that and get the red into the corner pocket. A very

:35:24. > :35:27.apprehensive steward there, not looking in total control of his

:35:28. > :35:37.emotions at the moment, try to get his concentration right. That is not

:35:38. > :35:38.a bad case, he can drop right behind the red for the choice of middle

:35:39. > :36:06.pocket or corner. What a shame. No century but an

:36:07. > :36:10.excellent break of 71 and Stuart Bingham as something to think about

:36:11. > :36:25.in the opening session as he trails 2-0.

:36:26. > :36:53.Why is it that the same role of cloth can be playing slower today

:36:54. > :36:57.than it was yesterday? It is not something that you can account for

:36:58. > :37:01.and explain logically, it is just the way it is, sometimes it can be

:37:02. > :37:05.atmospherics but this table is certainly playing slower and at the

:37:06. > :37:10.moment Stuart Bingham is all at sea. He is really struggling out there.

:37:11. > :37:14.Could it be the fact that the role of cloth has been kept in a place

:37:15. > :37:20.that is damp, which obviously until they post on the table, it has not

:37:21. > :37:25.had a chance to dry the table out to get, it is 45 degrees. Maybe it will

:37:26. > :37:34.play better tonight. There is a very good chance that. Meanwhile, well,

:37:35. > :37:45.what a shop that is. That was very, very thin. That is really thin. It

:37:46. > :38:05.just flicks the blue there. That as a result because the blue the pink.

:38:06. > :38:13.-- the blue passes the pink. Not much reaction from the cloth. Kyren

:38:14. > :38:25.absolutely hammered that into the left hand back pocket. This is a

:38:26. > :38:36.tough pot. It is overcut. Six, Kyren Wilson. This is possible. Stuart

:38:37. > :38:46.needs to play a slight swerve here with right-hand side. He played it

:38:47. > :38:50.very well. Yes, we actually saw the white move there and all of a sudden

:38:51. > :38:58.it starts to bend. He controlled it nicely. Love to play the kiss on and

:38:59. > :39:01.off the cushioning, to reds above the black would give position on

:39:02. > :39:08.both of the other two words. He cannot believe he has missed that

:39:09. > :39:11.case. I am surprised he didn't play the cider kiss there because

:39:12. > :39:19.whatever happens it will kiss one of them even if it doesn't kiss the

:39:20. > :39:32.other one. Yes. Stuart is absolutely distraught there.

:39:33. > :39:45.Stuart Bingham, eight. That was a poor shot. He has been fortunate to

:39:46. > :39:49.leave this autumn for Kyren Wilson. It is quite a big swerve as well so

:39:50. > :39:55.it is possible that he could just as easily missed the red. Interesting

:39:56. > :40:01.to see if this cloth takes a swerve, it seems to take a swerve quite

:40:02. > :40:05.easily, doesn't it? You know yourself that sometimes it takes an

:40:06. > :40:10.age for the cue ball to turn. This may once again be the fact that it's

:40:11. > :40:26.running a little slow and maybe a little damp.

:40:27. > :40:39.This is a really huge frame for Stuart Bingham. You will be

:40:40. > :40:44.disappointed going into the mid-session interval, no matter what

:40:45. > :40:47.happens, he will certainly be feeling a bit better if he can go

:40:48. > :40:56.into that mid-session interval 3-1 down instead of 4-0 down. He would

:40:57. > :41:01.have any idea what is happening to the cue ball. He is looking at the

:41:02. > :41:05.red to the extreme left hand side of the pack. Is that comfortable? He

:41:06. > :41:23.can't get through to it. I looked a bit dangerous. He was

:41:24. > :42:03.pushing the boat out there. That wasn't a shot you would like to

:42:04. > :42:07.play under run-through around the back of the black. You need to get

:42:08. > :42:12.nicely on the red to get a bit of confidence. He hasn't made any

:42:13. > :42:16.breaks yet, his highest was 28 in the first three frames that he would

:42:17. > :42:24.just like to get something happening. He is straight on this

:42:25. > :42:28.red and it is no good. There is a slight angle and the black is only

:42:29. > :42:42.available into one corner at the moment.

:42:43. > :42:47.That is another thing. When you know the table is playing well it is

:42:48. > :42:53.amazing how sometimes you over here just tried to get the right angle.

:42:54. > :43:00.Yes, Stuart is doing his best to readjust here. Really struggling to

:43:01. > :43:06.control the cue ball. One thing that we do know is that Kyren can't

:43:07. > :43:14.continue giving him chancing because sooner or later Stuart Bingham will

:43:15. > :43:22.click. His positional play will come back, but not with shots like that.

:43:23. > :43:32.He will be absolutely disgusted with himself, he will be furious. The cue

:43:33. > :43:36.ball should have been at least a foot further to the left than that

:43:37. > :43:40.but once again, I hate to keep going over it, but when a table is playing

:43:41. > :43:46.a little bit damp it is so hard to get the cue ball moving. That would

:43:47. > :43:49.have become a lot wider on the old cloth, as it was. Well done, good

:43:50. > :44:22.recovery. Pink is clearly available but I

:44:23. > :44:35.don't know if the pink is going to be tied up. Colin Humphries gives

:44:36. > :44:42.him a little glance, the pink is obviously covered. Upon the brown

:44:43. > :44:45.spot, the highest pot available. You can sense a distinct change in

:44:46. > :44:49.Stuart Bingham 's body language now. I think he has really had enough

:44:50. > :44:56.with the way things have gone so far. He has run out of position, not

:44:57. > :45:06.in position anyway. You just sense that he has really had enough and

:45:07. > :45:12.the fires are burning now. There is a feeling of aggression from Stuart

:45:13. > :45:16.Bingham. It is necessary at the moment to make something happen.

:45:17. > :45:25.That was a very good pot and not an ideal position. All of a sudden he

:45:26. > :45:28.is looking better around the table. You would love the pink on the spot

:45:29. > :45:32.but it is probably not the right way to play time because it may tell you

:45:33. > :45:37.red up and it is easier to play the yellow and have the choice of two

:45:38. > :45:42.red but in the pink, if he doesn't play perfectly it will cover a red.

:45:43. > :45:43.Interesting to see what he plays, I think the yellow was definitely the

:45:44. > :46:07.choice. That was not too bad at all. It is a good

:46:08. > :46:10.shot. He has two more shots to play that is an aggressive is shot

:46:11. > :46:14.because he needs to get rid of the red that is nearest the pocket. That

:46:15. > :46:28.is why he is plain that one now are not the other one. Look at where the

:46:29. > :46:31.cue ball is. Nowhere. It needed to be six or seven inches harder than

:46:32. > :46:37.that. I don't know whether he has the power at the moment to get

:46:38. > :47:15.around the table. The way the table display.

:47:16. > :47:29.30. Keep our needed again. He needs to get this around two positions of

:47:30. > :47:39.screw around the top side of the blue. Just wiped its feet. This side

:47:40. > :47:41.is is -- this time it is top side of the blue. He will have to play the

:47:42. > :48:10.yellow or pink. 32 points in front. He is bemused, isn't he? That is

:48:11. > :48:41.what happens under pressure. Stuart Bingham, 33. He just went to

:48:42. > :48:42.the well one too many times. 34 point lead is not enough whether

:48:43. > :49:02.balls are. It was missable because he had to

:49:03. > :49:13.play with pace, especially with the cloth playing a little bit slower.

:49:14. > :49:25.He was fortunate not to leave Stuart something easier than this.

:49:26. > :49:34.It is decision time for Stuart Bingham, does he try to protect his

:49:35. > :49:43.lead? Does he push the boat out? He could do an attacking shot. I think

:49:44. > :49:57.it is the former. Trying to keep the pressure on. Well, he has left a

:49:58. > :50:00.long red here into the back left-hand pocket and it is just the

:50:01. > :50:03.sort of shot that Kyren Wilson wants to take on. It is fraught with

:50:04. > :50:14.danger obviously, and he needs to get this.

:50:15. > :50:22.He was a long, long way away from that. It was one of those, he was 34

:50:23. > :50:26.points in front and there was no way in the world who would have played

:50:27. > :50:29.it like that but at 34 behind he felt he had a chance to pinch the

:50:30. > :50:33.frame so I don't blame you for having a go at that but missing it

:50:34. > :50:48.by so far could have cost him the frame.

:50:49. > :50:58.I have never seen anything like this in terms of both players overheating

:50:59. > :51:01.or underhitting shots. You can play this delicately, this pink into the

:51:02. > :51:09.middle because it will go back onto its own spot. If you play the slow

:51:10. > :51:15.stun into the middle it will still be on the opposite corner. I

:51:16. > :51:22.wouldn't even be surprised if he decided to play the snooker behind

:51:23. > :51:40.the brown and off the commission. -- cushion. Foul. Ramis. Free ball,

:51:41. > :51:51.Kyren Wilson. You have got to remember to reach the brown.

:51:52. > :51:59.Relying on good fortune, has he got any? Not too bad, but it will be

:52:00. > :52:06.interesting to see if the rest percentage stays the same. 12 out of

:52:07. > :52:08.five at the moment and can it be six out of six and he can reach it with

:52:09. > :52:53.the extension is cue? How is the cannon? Pretty good. Well

:52:54. > :53:24.done. Six. Seven. Just bringing that red two or

:53:25. > :53:29.three inches of the commission has given Cairo an excellent chance to

:53:30. > :53:35.clear. With the red where it was it was definitely second favourite. --

:53:36. > :53:57.has given Kyren an excellent chance to clear.

:53:58. > :54:09.12. It is not just about getting onto the next colour but getting

:54:10. > :54:17.onto the next colour with a chance of dropping the final red. There is

:54:18. > :54:21.another example of how this table is played. Back cue ball we would have

:54:22. > :54:34.expected to be two feet further in the middle of the table than that.

:54:35. > :54:46.A good pot. This table is playing very slow because the previous stunt

:54:47. > :54:52.show that Kyren plate trying it on the black, he played with plenty of

:54:53. > :54:55.pace but the cue ball just went nowhere. That black was really

:54:56. > :55:07.missable and it was a very good pot underneath the circumstances.

:55:08. > :55:26.It is another example of just how good Kyren Wilson is with the rest.

:55:27. > :55:32.This was a red that Peter was talking about, look at how hard he

:55:33. > :55:36.played it and just look at the White, it seemed to sink into that

:55:37. > :55:41.top condition. He has retrieved the situation and has every chance now

:55:42. > :55:46.of pinching the frame. This will really hurt Stuart Bingham. He could

:55:47. > :55:52.have won the previous frame and he certainly was the strong favourite

:55:53. > :56:04.to win this frame. Barring accidents, it is going to be 4-0.

:56:05. > :56:10.29. The match has just come to the interval on the other table so there

:56:11. > :56:31.is a little bit of movement which doesn't help the players.

:56:32. > :56:36.Again, he seems to get into the cue ball there but he didn't get the

:56:37. > :56:46.reaction all spin that he was looking for.

:56:47. > :56:55.He will have to play this quite firm. It will be interesting to see

:56:56. > :57:05.what sort of pacey event. He the pink. I am afraid that top cushion

:57:06. > :57:18.just looks like a sponge at the moment. Hardly any reaction off that

:57:19. > :57:20.top cushion. You have to take these on, don't you? If you want to play

:57:21. > :57:33.safe. Game ball. He will be taking this into the

:57:34. > :57:39.green pocket and he has the possibility of screwing this in with

:57:40. > :57:42.the left hand side, of three conditions, possibly trying to get

:57:43. > :57:48.the cue ball behind the black so there is an element of safety in

:57:49. > :57:55.this shot as well. Very thin. That is an excellent shot. He dominated

:57:56. > :57:58.this session and Bingham will be horrified and he is just sitting

:57:59. > :58:05.there at the moment. He is going to play the black, but the frame is

:58:06. > :58:12.over. Could quite easily have been 2-2 but it is not an Kyren Wilson

:58:13. > :58:13.has played and won the opening four games and is in a strong position in

:58:14. > :58:49.this match. Most players would be playing the

:58:50. > :58:53.safety shot here but Kyren has taken this on the table has been playing

:58:54. > :59:05.this morning he will have it is very hard. -- hit this very hard. Well,

:59:06. > :59:18.he has not got away with it this time.

:59:19. > :59:55.That is a nice opening red from Stuart Bingham.

:59:56. > :00:04.It's a decent pot, this first red into the middle. But the red into

:00:05. > :00:10.the middle again now. Really needs to make a sizeable break, just to

:00:11. > :00:14.calm himself down. 33 is still his highest break. It's not that Kyren

:00:15. > :00:49.is outplaying him at the moment, it's just that Stuart is missing.

:00:50. > :00:56.We may get a chance to seal it in slow motion, he got a kick there.

:00:57. > :01:03.The white did bounce when it hit the cue ball.

:01:04. > :01:13.That was not lyrically horrendous kick. -- that was an absolutely

:01:14. > :01:16.horrendous kick. When you are behind, that's just what you don't

:01:17. > :01:21.want. That was by no fault of his own. And worse still, the red is

:01:22. > :01:29.available and I think the black may be as well. We'll know after this

:01:30. > :01:35.shot whether the black is available. Yes, he feels it is, so it must be.

:01:36. > :02:47.With his shot on the Blackie brings both reds away from the black shot.

:02:48. > :02:54.The fact that the pink at the moment has gone on to the black spot means

:02:55. > :03:07.he doesn't have to go for the blue and bring the reds into play.

:03:08. > :03:11.Somebody's earpieces a bit loud, can you please check them and turn them

:03:12. > :03:26.down. Deep screw shot there with lots of

:03:27. > :03:34.right-hand side. You see the side taking effect off

:03:35. > :03:50.the cushion. As a red into the centre after this

:03:51. > :04:30.pic. -- pink. Looks as if he's going for the blue,

:04:31. > :04:33.after the red in the centre. Slightly underhit and has finished

:04:34. > :05:04.straight on the red than he would like to.

:05:05. > :05:19.This was the red that was stopping it going on the spot, I think.

:05:20. > :05:24.Sometimes we talk about these tables, the cloth being so very

:05:25. > :05:34.quick. We've known it's not so quick today. They talk about the Greens at

:05:35. > :05:37.Augusta being very quick, very fast, I'll show you a gentleman in the

:05:38. > :05:41.audience in a minute that's come back from Augusta.

:05:42. > :05:55.Playing in the Masters, that's Brendan Taylor and his son next to

:05:56. > :05:57.him. He manages Andy. He's a great, great player, and has come to watch

:05:58. > :06:15.the snooker live at the Crucible. I presume the black pots, he'll take

:06:16. > :06:18.the brown. He could even play the yellow, Peter, that's not a bad

:06:19. > :06:31.choice. Yes. It will be a question of how the

:06:32. > :06:39.cannon turns out. That will do very nicely. I red into the left corner.

:06:40. > :06:59.Or the left centre. Going up for the blue here. This has

:07:00. > :07:02.all come from that bit of an fortunate, Stuart Bingham's last

:07:03. > :07:12.visit to the table. It will hurt him more than anything,

:07:13. > :07:16.that these could and should have been all his. And horrendous kick,

:07:17. > :07:48.that let Kyren in for this chance. That was another huge kick. It's

:07:49. > :08:16.taken all the pace out of the cue ball. You see the cue ball jump.

:08:17. > :08:22.Another example of how slow the table as again. He doesn't have to

:08:23. > :08:24.do an awful lot with the cue ball, he's 51 points in front. Just the

:08:25. > :08:54.red needed. Taking these well. Unlucky to have

:08:55. > :08:57.had that and left Kyren this chance. He's had to sit there and suffer

:08:58. > :09:00.now, and he knows he is somehow going to have to win at least tit of

:09:01. > :09:08.the remaining three frames, if not all three. -- he has to win at least

:09:09. > :09:11.two of the remaining three frames. He can't let someone of Kyren

:09:12. > :09:39.Wilson's class get a 7-8 lead. Another excellent pot. The angle he

:09:40. > :09:46.has on the pink, he could bring the two reds into play. No century, but

:09:47. > :09:47.Kyren Wilson will be absolutely delighted. He's started playing very

:09:48. > :10:06.well indeed. He now leads by 5-0. Kyren Wilson breaks off in frame

:10:07. > :10:09.six. The match has come to an early end on the other table. They've got

:10:10. > :10:15.this wonderful arena to themselves now. Stuart has been left the shot

:10:16. > :10:59.to nothing. Under normal circumstances it would

:11:00. > :11:04.have been difficult to hold for the blue from a cut like that. But

:11:05. > :11:11.because this cloth is obviously playing considerably slower than the

:11:12. > :11:12.previous cloth, he was able to hold for the blue there and played it

:11:13. > :11:20.very well. What you tend to find when the cloth

:11:21. > :11:26.is playing slower like this, just to move the cue ball around the table

:11:27. > :11:30.the players end up having to play a series of either stun or very hard

:11:31. > :11:33.stun shots when normally they would prefer to stroke the ball is as

:11:34. > :11:47.smoothly as they could. These costs do throw and awful lot

:11:48. > :11:51.with side, so you come through the cue ball off line and miss anything.

:11:52. > :11:52.So it's challenging for both players, when the table is playing

:11:53. > :12:00.slower. The other important aspects with

:12:01. > :12:05.regard to that is the fact that when you hit the ball harder, obviously

:12:06. > :12:07.the object balls are reaching the pockets with more pace, and that

:12:08. > :12:22.makes the pockets play smaller. Slightly out of position, but played

:12:23. > :12:44.that well. APPLAUSE

:12:45. > :12:50.Very shortly, Kyren Wilson will be looking to leave himself an angle on

:12:51. > :13:23.a colour to open up the pack of reds.

:13:24. > :13:30.When the pink is just that in shots the pack, like it is now, would you

:13:31. > :13:33.rather going to wait from the green or yellow, Peter? Definitely,

:13:34. > :13:36.because there are also saw things that could happen. You could be

:13:37. > :13:41.really lucky and hit the pink and the pink could slide off the pack if

:13:42. > :13:45.you don't get a full contact on the pink. So even though the green here

:13:46. > :13:57.is a little bit thinner than he would have liked.

:13:58. > :14:05.He's taking the brown, he will have to hit this hard with lots of

:14:06. > :14:08.right-hand side. Didn't quite... He would have preferred to have been on

:14:09. > :14:13.the nice angle on the green, because the angle that he left himself on

:14:14. > :14:18.the brown, he had to hit that really hard. Lots of right-hand side,

:14:19. > :14:33.probably got too much side. So he'll be disappointed with that.

:14:34. > :14:51.Short a of safety. -- short again of safety.

:14:52. > :14:58.How on earth has he found the gap there between the pack of reds and

:14:59. > :15:02.the pink? When things are going bad, you can only smile, can't you? It's

:15:03. > :15:06.everything going wrong at the moment. Played the safety shot, red

:15:07. > :15:09.into the pack and look at the red, straight through the gap and over

:15:10. > :15:23.the corner pocket. It's not fair sometimes.

:15:24. > :15:47.No real advantage in playing the pot on the blue here, purely because he

:15:48. > :15:56.can't get onto a red. He may play the snooker behind the green.

:15:57. > :16:01.Stewart is that it two points behind, so he'll be playing an

:16:02. > :16:04.aggressive safety here, trying to bring back into play. The way his

:16:05. > :16:07.luck is going at the moment, he wants to make sure red isn't over

:16:08. > :16:19.the left-hand corner at the same time.

:16:20. > :16:22.It's just not happening, just not happening. He can't enter shot

:16:23. > :16:55.right. -- he can't hit a shot right. Another excellent pot. We keep

:16:56. > :17:03.saying, when things are going right, but the pink into play. I suppose in

:17:04. > :17:06.fairness, if you can cut them back into checks I don't come down this

:17:07. > :17:15.side, he would be on all three reds. You can do the same off the pink.

:17:16. > :17:22.He's found one into the opposite corner, has he? Must be won.

:17:23. > :17:54.It just shows you, doesn't it, when you misjudge a shot, what can

:17:55. > :17:56.happen. He thought the red was clearly available, but obviously not

:17:57. > :18:07.quite as clear as he thought. Now then, Stuart, 39 points behind.

:18:08. > :19:40.You've got to make a frame-winning break.

:19:41. > :19:44.He's got to make sure he gets past the pink spot area if he decides to

:19:45. > :19:58.play the pink. Maybe just plan to leave the cue

:19:59. > :20:06.ball somewhere near the pink spot, so he has the reds in the middle.

:20:07. > :20:11.This red obviously passes the pink, the bottom red of the three. You can

:20:12. > :20:20.see it clearly it does. He's opened up the two reds to the

:20:21. > :20:32.opposite corner. He has to be careful not to do

:20:33. > :20:49.anything silly. This frame is here for the taking.

:20:50. > :20:53.Just lost the cue ball touch there. It's a bit thinner than he would

:20:54. > :21:40.have liked. The problem Stuart has got here is

:21:41. > :21:43.he's got to go round the back of the black, I think and the way things

:21:44. > :21:47.are going, he doesn't want to go anywhere near the black. He doesn't

:21:48. > :21:56.want to risk playing into the black to get on the two reds. The pink has

:21:57. > :21:58.to go on to its own spot, so maybe the red he can get onto is the one

:21:59. > :22:13.he is nearest to now. He's just about got there, another

:22:14. > :22:17.three or four inches of pace, very straightforward. All of a sudden

:22:18. > :22:18.from being in prime position, he's having to do a few things with the

:22:19. > :22:26.cue ball. That's a good shot. Choice of three

:22:27. > :23:25.colours, yellow, blue or brown. This is the key shot, needs to go

:23:26. > :23:34.round the back of the black. That was the problem. He never really in

:23:35. > :24:02.the last 20 points off that break had the cue ball under control.

:24:03. > :24:07.I know the balls were there for the taking but considering their way

:24:08. > :24:09.things have gone for Stuart Bingham in this match, he did well to make

:24:10. > :24:21.52. That's not a very good shot at all.

:24:22. > :24:24.Perhaps fortunate that the red didn't end up in the pottable

:24:25. > :24:30.position for Kyren into the right centre. Didn't get very good cue

:24:31. > :24:49.ball where, Stuart. There may be some value in taking on

:24:50. > :25:17.the cross table double here. Yes, a great effort, but this time

:25:18. > :25:24.it's worked in Stuart Bingham's favour. You can see this red. I

:25:25. > :25:30.don't blame Kyren at all for playing that shot the way he did. That was

:25:31. > :25:35.about the only way it could have jawed Peter and left a pop on, the

:25:36. > :25:38.way it finished. Yes, the reason I suggested that shot, it's almost

:25:39. > :25:44.like a shot to nothing unless you get the result he did. It's very

:25:45. > :25:55.rare you get that sort of outcome. Still, that's what happened.

:25:56. > :26:07.Stuart Bingham will be mightily relieved.

:26:08. > :26:13.Well, he'll be very relieved, knowing he needed two chances to win

:26:14. > :26:18.this frame and luckily for him he got a second chance.

:26:19. > :26:42.So Stuart Bingham made the highest break of the match for him so far,

:26:43. > :26:47.the break of 52. He'll be a very relieved man to get a frame on the

:26:48. > :26:54.board. Still two more to go, he trails 5-1.

:26:55. > :27:07.Thank you, frame seven, Stuart Bingham to break.

:27:08. > :27:18.He needs to break up better than that, doesn't he? Luckily he hasn't

:27:19. > :27:56.left uneasily opening red. A schoolboy error, hitting the blue.

:27:57. > :28:13.A nice opening pot from Stuart Bingham.

:28:14. > :28:30.Laid the cannon well. May elect to leave himself an angle on the back

:28:31. > :28:33.to go to the reds relieve himself high,

:28:34. > :29:06.And all of a sudden, having got his first frame on the board, Stuart is

:29:07. > :29:13.beginning to move around the table with his usual fluency. Played that

:29:14. > :29:25.really well. That was an excellent shot.

:29:26. > :29:35.24. Three reds, three blacks. He can certainly play this red to get onto

:29:36. > :29:38.the black here, with the pink being out of commission you never know.

:29:39. > :29:43.Whether he is playing well enough at this moment in time to hit the magic

:29:44. > :29:53.number remains to be seen. These reds are nice.

:29:54. > :30:17.It is great when you are in this position where you can play for a

:30:18. > :30:20.choice of three reds out of one shot. That is after even thinking of

:30:21. > :30:24.making a maximum, always leave yourself with a choice of shots, the

:30:25. > :30:32.one in the middle and the one in the corner. Mr Speaker 32. -- 32. This

:30:33. > :30:59.opens up some more threads. 33. 40. If you are thinking about the

:31:00. > :31:02.maximum, finish low on the next black and plain to the cluster of

:31:03. > :31:11.five and you will still be on the red at the bottom of the pack. He is

:31:12. > :31:17.playing the other one. Now, will he played to screw into the pack again?

:31:18. > :31:20.No need to of course, he can get on three reds but he will have to go

:31:21. > :31:42.into them at some time. Not this time. I am sure now he will be

:31:43. > :31:47.thinking of the 147. 48. 49. The problem, should he decide to go into

:31:48. > :31:54.the little cluster of five now, he hasn't got a red that can come to

:31:55. > :32:08.his rescue. He may play for the loose one.

:32:09. > :32:18.He needed that white truffle, it is nowhere near where it played. 56.

:32:19. > :32:29.Two feet short of where it was meant to be.

:32:30. > :32:41.He may decide to play the thin red into the right centre but it is very

:32:42. > :32:47.difficult. Taking the red into the left setter and he will be beyond

:32:48. > :32:56.the black if this goes in. He has overcut it. Stuart Bingham, 56. He

:32:57. > :33:39.will be disappointed, that was an excellent opportunity.

:33:40. > :33:45.He is trying to decide if he will leave the white anywhere near the

:33:46. > :34:15.left-hand corner pocket and whether Stuart can cut this in.

:34:16. > :34:21.He has got to be careful here. Stuart is 56 points in front and he

:34:22. > :34:25.doesn't want the referee to say in a couple of shots time that this is

:34:26. > :34:30.going nowhere and they have a couple of shots each to play an aggressive

:34:31. > :34:35.shot otherwise it will be a re-rack. Kyren Wilson will want a re-rack

:34:36. > :34:40.because he is 56 points behind. That happened to me once when I was ahead

:34:41. > :34:44.against Andy Hicks and in the evening session we were warned after

:34:45. > :34:58.a few bits of tip tapping I ended up losing the frame. I was very

:34:59. > :35:13.pleased. Yes, it is not the sort of thing that happens very often, but

:35:14. > :35:21.it can do. It is a very big risk for Stuart to play the aggressive safety

:35:22. > :35:31.shot. Whether he is prepared to do that will remain to be seen. This is

:35:32. > :35:44.a huge frame. The difference between 6-1 and 5-2. As John Parrott quite

:35:45. > :35:52.rightly said in the studio if Stuart Bingham can finish this session only

:35:53. > :35:55.5-3 down, he really would feel that he had had a tremendous results,

:35:56. > :36:33.given the way he has played so far. And you feel that it may well have

:36:34. > :36:39.to be Stuart Bingham that plays the aggressive safety shot because

:36:40. > :36:43.trailing by 56 points, Kyren Wilson will just keep rolling into the

:36:44. > :36:51.reds, he will want there to be a re-rack and that is the last thing

:36:52. > :36:58.in the world that Stuart once. -- wants. Stuart Cleverley took the

:36:59. > :37:08.opportunity to push a red onto the side cushion there. That was a bit

:37:09. > :37:14.of insurance. It was insurance against Cairo and getting a good

:37:15. > :37:15.opportunity in this frame. -- against Kyren getting a good

:37:16. > :37:38.opportunity in this frame. Kyren has left a pot on but it is

:37:39. > :37:41.fraught with danger. Stuart has to be careful of pushing another red to

:37:42. > :38:02.the commission but this is going nowhere at the moment.

:38:03. > :38:08.Kyren is had a look to see if he can play a shot here and pop the red in

:38:09. > :38:12.the middle. He needs to be very careful not to play a push-up. I

:38:13. > :38:22.think that may well have been a push. He called one himself and that

:38:23. > :38:26.was very kind of Kyren. He made the referee 's decision very easy by

:38:27. > :38:33.calling the foul upon himself, well done to Kyren Wilson. The reason was

:38:34. > :38:37.definitely a push-shot was because the white didn't even try to come

:38:38. > :38:45.back off it. He put no spin on at all. A very relieved Stuart Bingham,

:38:46. > :38:52.having had a great chance for a maximum a few moments ago, the key

:38:53. > :38:53.thing was to win the frame and after one more red and colour he has done

:38:54. > :39:43.just that. The frame is now clearly over.

:39:44. > :39:47.Stuart Bingham has got that chance at Stephen Hendry was talking about,

:39:48. > :39:51.the chance to get out of this session 5-3, and he will feel as

:39:52. > :39:54.though he has won the session, trust me, because he was struggling as

:39:55. > :39:56.much as we have ever seen him struggle here at the Crucible in the

:39:57. > :40:33.opening four or five frames. 26. 27. 32. Stuart Bingham, 32 and the

:40:34. > :40:35.frame. Are very relieved Stuart Bingham. He winds the seventh frame

:40:36. > :41:07.and he trails now by 5-2. This really should be 5-3 now. Yes,

:41:08. > :41:10.I was about to say, it is amazing how many times and interval changes

:41:11. > :41:14.matches, but I just looked at the scoreboard and of course Kyren

:41:15. > :41:21.Wilson came out after the interval made a break of 70 to do five in

:41:22. > :41:24.front. The highest break for being at that particular time was 33 and

:41:25. > :41:32.he has since made a break of 50 in each of the two frames and he has

:41:33. > :41:36.every chance of making a sizeable contribution here, although the

:41:37. > :41:41.black is out of play but the pink is available in all four high-scoring

:41:42. > :41:45.pockets, the two middles and the four corners. That is what he will

:41:46. > :41:47.be working on, just pink and blue and a great chance, as Peter just

:41:48. > :42:51.said, to make it 5-3. 15. Ideally off the next two or

:42:52. > :42:53.three reds you would like to play the green, just to get the green out

:42:54. > :43:41.of the way. He is itching to play the green now,

:43:42. > :43:44.isn't he, but working or not? He is playing it. It just makes it easier

:43:45. > :43:53.and those reds there, having the green out of the way. Isn't it

:43:54. > :44:00.strange, the peculiarities of the psychology of snooker? Kyren Wilson

:44:01. > :44:03.will be very, very disappointed. If he only leads 5-3 at the end of this

:44:04. > :44:09.session, and yet if you had given him 5-3 at the start, you would've

:44:10. > :44:15.been delighted. Before a ball was patted, he would have taken it in a

:44:16. > :44:19.heartbeat, wouldn't he. He you are quite right, this is a mind game

:44:20. > :44:24.here and when you have 21 days ear of the utmost pressure you have to

:44:25. > :44:27.go through little spells like this. Stuart Bingham now, as Stephen

:44:28. > :44:33.Hendry and John Parrott were saying in the studio, if you have a bad

:44:34. > :44:35.session, making a 5-3 session. He has had his bad session here and he

:44:36. > :45:42.is going to come out 5-3. He will have to take his medicine

:45:43. > :45:49.and play a good safety shot. So... He will be absolutely delighted if

:45:50. > :45:57.he can finish this session only 5-3 behind. That young man will be very

:45:58. > :46:02.disappointed. Just the one more red needed, so he is playing for

:46:03. > :46:14.choices. Oh, you are killing me! Wow! Did he have a kick here? I

:46:15. > :46:19.don't think so. Just tried to make sure he was getting on roads and he

:46:20. > :46:23.misjudged it. But whether the black relatives and the reds where they

:46:24. > :46:29.are he is still a massive favourite to win this frame. But he is going

:46:30. > :46:31.to have to go through the ringer for a little while now rather than it be

:46:32. > :47:11.plain sailing. Another very good shot with the rest

:47:12. > :47:25.from Kyren Wilson, very, very strong in that apartment. 11 out of 11,

:47:26. > :47:35.100%. Wow. You see the stats. Is is tough because he will have to play

:47:36. > :47:40.this with pace. Wow, what a shot. Unfortunately he has finished

:47:41. > :47:44.straight though. He would have loved an angle on this last red. The

:47:45. > :47:48.second to last red, so he could just roll the red in come out for the

:47:49. > :47:52.pink. I don't think there is any mileage in taking the red on but he

:47:53. > :47:55.will play the snooker behind a red or the brown and probably behind the

:47:56. > :48:13.green and there is every chance he could snooker Stuart on both reds.

:48:14. > :48:25.You must make sure that you cover the red with the blue and a green

:48:26. > :48:31.when he is moving Kyren Wilson, seven. That is not a good shot, you

:48:32. > :48:35.can take the song, Stuart. 35 points in it. He will not be kissing the

:48:36. > :48:46.red of the commission here what ever bad he hits this. -- he will not be

:48:47. > :48:54.kissing the red off the cushion here however bad he hits this. He made

:48:55. > :49:01.sure he was then and he gave himself absolutely no chance of dislodging

:49:02. > :49:06.the other red from the commission. This is quite a tough safety shot

:49:07. > :49:11.here, he is playing with a lot of right side. He has played that

:49:12. > :49:20.really well. It is an excellent safety shot. Slightly short. On

:49:21. > :49:24.pace. But very good. A good line. He would love to have a go at this,

:49:25. > :49:27.Stuart, by the added problem is if he plays a ten Tors the red then the

:49:28. > :49:33.red could scoot along the cushion and bring the other red into play so

:49:34. > :49:44.I think this is one of the shots, even though it is frame ball, I

:49:45. > :49:54.would refuse this one. Yes, refused it, for that reason probably. Does

:49:55. > :50:00.Kyren play to plot the right and move it? He is a very attacking

:50:01. > :50:05.player and he has just looked at it. The only problem with that shot is

:50:06. > :50:15.that there is a possibility playing with this with pace that the cue

:50:16. > :50:19.ball could stay where the readies. That is brilliant. That is

:50:20. > :50:26.absolutely brilliant. He has been very, very unlucky. A wonderful pot,

:50:27. > :50:32.taking the opportunity to move the red off the black cushion OK, he has

:50:33. > :50:40.got a straight forward safety shot but he will be disappointed not to

:50:41. > :50:45.be on a colour there. He has to play the brown full ball the brown on and

:50:46. > :50:52.off the cushion and snooker him between the green and blue. The any

:50:53. > :50:58.problem is he will need the last red. He better hope he misses the

:50:59. > :51:04.snooker. He does have the opportunity to just bring the black

:51:05. > :51:19.off the cushion and leave the snooker behind the pink. He is

:51:20. > :51:26.looking at that now. I think that would be a very good shot the course

:51:27. > :51:35.Stuart not only has to hit the red, he then has to leave it safe. He

:51:36. > :51:45.just needs to avoid the double-kiss on the black here. Kyren Wilson,

:51:46. > :51:50.one. Unfortunately for him he didn't avoid the double-kiss, but I still

:51:51. > :51:54.think he is just got the snooker well, there is just a bit sneaking

:51:55. > :52:00.out there. It wasn't a very good shot. Stuart can just click this

:52:01. > :52:22.red. If he does clip it he will have to

:52:23. > :52:26.play it pay silly because the red will be heading towards the middle

:52:27. > :52:29.pocket and the fact that Kyren has brought the black of the cushion,

:52:30. > :52:33.whatever happens he doesn't want to leave the red on in such a way that

:52:34. > :52:38.is is possible to get a position on the black. He may even play the pot

:52:39. > :52:41.here and bring it back into baulk. That is what he is doing, he has

:52:42. > :52:45.played at across to the pocket but he better cover it up. Has he

:52:46. > :53:11.covered it? It appears so. There is a possibility here, if

:53:12. > :53:15.Kyren hits the cushion first he may be able to hit the back side of the

:53:16. > :53:19.red and send the cue ball towards the green and brown. Hopefully for

:53:20. > :53:31.him behind the brown. Yes, key to get the object ball

:53:32. > :53:51.safe, it isn't here though. That's not bad. Obviously from that

:53:52. > :53:57.shot he wasn't quite snookered, we didn't realise that he could

:53:58. > :54:00.actually see the red. Under the circumstances it was a very good

:54:01. > :54:11.shot, played with a lot of left side. He played to get the cue ball

:54:12. > :54:14.behind the brown off of either three or four questions with depending on

:54:15. > :54:21.whether the cue ball made contact with the baulk cushion. A tough

:54:22. > :54:30.safety shot for Stuart here but he could play this was left inside and

:54:31. > :54:36.send the right behind the black and the cue ball behind the brown. That

:54:37. > :54:47.is what he has tried. It is a great effort, it is a great effort. Kyren

:54:48. > :54:51.is in one of those situations where I don't know if he can hit this hard

:54:52. > :54:54.enough to be able to stun the red and play the snooker behind the

:54:55. > :54:58.black. If he can't do that he may have to be forced to playing the pot

:54:59. > :55:03.which is on his side. The reason I say that is he is bound to get some

:55:04. > :55:09.sort of shot on the black. Can he popped it? The White will be someone

:55:10. > :55:13.in the blue spot if he plays tap pace but this is going to be tough

:55:14. > :55:19.to get safe if he doesn't hit in full in the face. He could be

:55:20. > :55:21.playing the snooker behind the black here. I don't think he's hit that

:55:22. > :55:35.quite hard enough. He has left an easy snooker and the

:55:36. > :55:39.red may pass up black into the Green pocket but almost certainly. Would

:55:40. > :55:50.you play the pot or the snooker? I would play the snooker. It looks

:55:51. > :55:56.like he is playing the pot. And it is there. For a delighted Stuart

:55:57. > :56:02.Bingham that should be frame ball. Perhaps that is one of the reasons

:56:03. > :56:12.that Stuart beat me 10-5 in first round. To negative! That is very

:56:13. > :56:17.well done barring snooker Stuart Bingham has done the miracle and he

:56:18. > :56:21.has got out of the session trailing 5-3. Are fighting performance on

:56:22. > :56:25.Stuart Bingham and he finds himself only two frames behind going into

:56:26. > :56:29.the second section at 10am this morning. They will also finish that

:56:30. > :56:34.match this evening. We will be on the air at 10am sharp to see the

:56:35. > :56:38.next eight frames played. I hope you can enjoy us -- I hope you can join

:56:39. > :57:02.us but in the meantime you better get some sleep. Good night.

:57:03. > :57:07.I've had enough of this! A man's dead!

:57:08. > :57:09.No need to shout. I'm sorry.

:57:10. > :57:13.and I'm ordering a justice burger for two.

:57:14. > :57:16.Oh, my God, they've got guns.

:57:17. > :57:19.I'm game... Then let's go commando.
