:01:06. > :01:07.is the capital of Normandy, Caen. William the Conqueror built this

:01:08. > :01:20.stronghold six years before he crossed the Channel. It is known as

:01:21. > :01:35.Terre de Cheval, which translates as horse country. And once again the

:01:36. > :01:43.place has been overrun by chevaux, this is the venue for the largest

:01:44. > :01:49.horse event ever staged, showcasing diverse sport, and this is where the

:01:50. > :01:54.best in the world come to compete in the Olympic disciplines. Great

:01:55. > :02:14.Britain has the number one rider in all three.

:02:15. > :02:33.As well as building his castle in Caen William the conga establish

:02:34. > :02:41.this, the Abbe aux Hommes, where men were kept separate from women. -

:02:42. > :02:45.William the Congress. Scott Brasch was recently confirmed as the

:02:46. > :02:51.leading rider in the world. The winner this afternoon, the world 's

:02:52. > :02:59.number one, getting in outing, it is Scotland's, Great Britain's Scott

:03:00. > :03:07.Brasch. As in the countryside this is Aran des Pins, one of the

:03:08. > :03:17.national studs. Great Britain are the reigning world champions. -

:03:18. > :03:23.Hara du Pins For the Great Britain have the number one rider in the

:03:24. > :03:30.world, the tall and elegant William Fox-Pitt. A respectful distance from

:03:31. > :03:36.the Abbe aux Hommes is the women's abbey, founded by Queen Matilda who

:03:37. > :03:39.set it up for Benedictine nuns, now it is a woman who leads the way in

:03:40. > :03:52.dressage and she is British, Charlotte deja Dujardin is

:03:53. > :03:57.unstoppable. She took gold in the Grand Prix special and it was a

:03:58. > :04:01.performance of so much fluency and look at his willingness to perform,

:04:02. > :04:06.it is all about controlled power and rhythm. And supreme beauty. She

:04:07. > :04:10.still had the freestyle to come where she can choreograph her own

:04:11. > :04:22.moves the music of her choice and this is her favourite event.

:04:23. > :05:02.Great Britain 's Charlotte Dujardin. With Valegro.

:05:03. > :05:07.Some of the most difficult intricate manoeuvres you could see all made

:05:08. > :06:48.look perfectly simple and easy. One hurdle out of the way. We could

:06:49. > :06:56.be watching one of the best ever, nations in the world of dressage.

:06:57. > :07:06.Making history, she holds the world record for the freestyle at 92. 79%,

:07:07. > :07:08.that would win her the third and final championship title, the World

:07:09. > :07:53.Championship. Beautiful. This is a truly

:07:54. > :07:56.magnificent performance from Charlotte and Valegro yet again

:07:57. > :08:03.What a combination, what a horse and rider, what a trainer from Carl

:08:04. > :08:06.Heston, what a terrific owner, thank you also much. We are watching

:08:07. > :08:28.something very, very, very special. That is the best you will ever see

:08:29. > :08:34.of a reverse pirouette, incredible. CHEERING

:08:35. > :08:40.Well, is it a world record? If it isn't she is a winner of the world

:08:41. > :08:45.title. Here she is, your immediate reaction? I cannot believe it,

:08:46. > :08:52.honestly, absolutely gobsmacked I don't know what to say. After London

:08:53. > :08:56.2012I did not think it would get much better but last year I got

:08:57. > :09:02.double gold at the Europeans. This week has been going so well. I was

:09:03. > :09:07.praying I could maybe pull off it today and I cannot believe it. How

:09:08. > :09:14.quickly do you know whether Valegro is on song. Touchwood he is always

:09:15. > :09:18.on song, I never have to worry about it. Today I could feel he was a bit

:09:19. > :09:23.tired but he gave me his all in the arena. That is what makes him so

:09:24. > :09:29.special. He always keeps trying The crowd loved it, they gave you such a

:09:30. > :09:33.reception. All week I have had a fantastic reception, it is great to

:09:34. > :09:38.have that support, all of those fans cheering you on. You can stay

:09:39. > :09:44.motivated on the days when it is cold and raining at home because of

:09:45. > :09:48.moments like this. Absolutely, it makes it all worthwhile. I cannot

:09:49. > :09:53.have been the only one fighting back the tears, so beautiful to see her

:09:54. > :09:58.and Valegro. Now we will turn our attention to the three-day eventing,

:09:59. > :10:01.in the countryside in Normandy we will see the world 's leading

:10:02. > :10:06.riders, you would think that they would be up there competing for the

:10:07. > :10:10.gold medal. But don't rule out Great Britain, the team of four including

:10:11. > :10:14.three from London 2012, who brought home the silver medal and one new

:10:15. > :10:17.name, so let's meet the British team.

:10:18. > :10:24.Four years ago in Kentucky, William Fox-Pitt won an individual silver

:10:25. > :10:28.medal. These days he is riding Chilli Morning and they took the

:10:29. > :10:31.individual bronze last year at the European Championships in Sweden. He

:10:32. > :10:37.is a super horse, I have had him for three years, lovely horse. Quite

:10:38. > :10:43.eccentric, here's a stallion, in fact he is the leading stallion in

:10:44. > :10:48.eventing. We have formed a great partnership, some good results. I am

:10:49. > :10:51.hoping we can put in another good performance. Zara Phillips one

:10:52. > :10:55.individual gold at the world Equestrian games in 2006 and

:10:56. > :10:59.following time-outs last year to have a baby she has made a

:11:00. > :11:02.successful return to the team. It is great to be here and part of the

:11:03. > :11:08.team again. Just really looking forward to it. Getting your muscles

:11:09. > :11:14.and your core and everything back to where it was after having a baby was

:11:15. > :11:20.quite hard work. But it is like a drug, you want to do it again and

:11:21. > :11:24.stay at the top and keep putting out those best performances. Almost

:11:25. > :11:30.exactly a year ago, Harry Mead suffered an horrific fall in which

:11:31. > :11:35.he shattered both arms. Against all the-year-olds he has made an

:11:36. > :11:40.astonishing recovery. Quite a few months of operations and rehab and

:11:41. > :11:44.it was a lot of unknown ground in there and I did not know whether I

:11:45. > :11:49.would get back in the sport and a year to the day later I am at the

:11:50. > :11:54.World Championships. Quite a fairy tale year. Already a two-time team

:11:55. > :12:03.gold medallist, Tina Cook this year will pair up with her 11-year-old De

:12:04. > :12:08.Novo News, also known as Herman My brother was the first one who had

:12:09. > :12:16.seen it, he said it was ugly, looked like Herman Munster. So he kept the

:12:17. > :12:19.name. This horse is still not the finished article and I still believe

:12:20. > :12:24.there is more improving to come from him but it is exciting he is at the

:12:25. > :12:29.World Championships. If we can put in good performances as a team and

:12:30. > :12:38.riders, we would not be far away from goal. That is the British team

:12:39. > :12:42.and add to that two individuals with Olivia Wilson, Ian Stark alongside

:12:43. > :12:47.me part of the gold medal winning team in 1986. What should we expect

:12:48. > :12:54.out of this team? At the beginning with this selection process we had a

:12:55. > :12:58.very exciting team, some good young horses. A couple of them went lame,

:12:59. > :13:02.sadly but still we have an experienced team. Great that Harry

:13:03. > :13:06.Meade has been given a chance at last. When I arrived here I was not

:13:07. > :13:10.that convinced they would be gold medal contenders but then I walked

:13:11. > :13:14.the course and got excited because I thought it was a real British

:13:15. > :13:18.course, long and undulating and muddy. They should benefit.

:13:19. > :13:23.Overnight they have taken out two of the fences and a minute of distance

:13:24. > :13:27.so that will change, but I think the Brits might be struggling now. Fifth

:13:28. > :13:33.after the dressage, they might be struggling to get into the medals.

:13:34. > :13:36.We will confirm those dressage places in a moment but the other

:13:37. > :13:42.significant thing is that this is the first opportunity to qualify for

:13:43. > :13:46.Rio? Getting in the first six is important. They will want to qualify

:13:47. > :13:50.early and not leave it to the last gasp and hopefully they will do

:13:51. > :13:57.that. The New Zealand team probably has the highest average age, do you

:13:58. > :14:00.see them as favourites? Without a doubt. The Germans are in the lead

:14:01. > :14:05.after the dressage but the Kiwis will relish these conditions. They

:14:06. > :14:09.have some great horses and brilliant riders. The team has fantastic

:14:10. > :14:14.experience. They will push the Germans to the last minute. What

:14:15. > :14:19.about the individual medals? Hopefully William is up there, he

:14:20. > :14:23.certainly had a great performance in the dressage and he is a brilliant

:14:24. > :14:28.competitor. Could not ask for more. Chilli Morning is a classy horse,

:14:29. > :14:31.has won a lot of competitions. I do not knowing if he has been under

:14:32. > :14:36.pressure in wet conditions but I think William will be up there. The

:14:37. > :14:42.cross-country will sort it out but let's confirm the placings after the

:14:43. > :14:45.dressage. Germany leading the way in the team standings ahead of New

:14:46. > :14:51.Zealand and the United States. Great Britain just ahead of the

:14:52. > :14:54.Netherlands and Canada. In the individual, edition Sandra Auffarth

:14:55. > :15:03.recorded the best score ahead of William Fox-Pitt. This is the horse

:15:04. > :15:06.that tested positive and burly, Clifton promised. Michael Jung is

:15:07. > :15:13.the defending champion and Nicola Wilson, great test for her in 1 th

:15:14. > :15:15.on Annie Clover. Therefore the cross-country got underway we take a

:15:16. > :15:20.look at some of the challenges facing the field. Riders have been

:15:21. > :15:25.on a gently descending right-hand turn before they come to this fence,

:15:26. > :15:31.and it goes seriously downhill. They land down there. It is a long way

:15:32. > :15:35.down and then the first of three fairly serious water, nations. Only

:15:36. > :15:40.six strides to recover after the big drop and then this very narrow

:15:41. > :15:45.fronted fence. Not only is it now to approach but there is a widespread

:15:46. > :15:49.with a fairly large drop into the water. When they get over that they

:15:50. > :15:55.get the sea element, another narrow fence and then only three strides to

:15:56. > :16:01.get that right. There is a slower route but if they take that they

:16:02. > :16:05.will struggle. This is a tribute to one of the historic monuments but

:16:06. > :16:11.the riders are not appreciating the painting. What is the tricky part

:16:12. > :16:15.which the clever thing is that the numbering of the fences, this ditch

:16:16. > :16:20.is the second element, B and C, when you get down here, it is also the

:16:21. > :16:25.modest part, if you attempt the ditch you have to have a go at ease.

:16:26. > :16:32.If you divert to the alternative it means you have to jump C twice. They

:16:33. > :16:38.would then be eliminated. -- you have to have a go at D. The horse is

:16:39. > :16:44.starting to get tired by this point. Inevitably, pretty undulate in, long

:16:45. > :16:48.course, the ground will be heavy. Very wet. Only the riders will know

:16:49. > :16:52.how the horses are feeling. The most important thing is that the riders

:16:53. > :16:57.are fit enough to help the riders when they get tired. They have to

:16:58. > :17:01.react to the situation. This step up to the finish, quite a tough

:17:02. > :17:08.question, the solid part is pretty low. The main thing is they get onto

:17:09. > :17:13.the line for the second fish in the middle of the water. There is an

:17:14. > :17:17.alternative to this step up and it is this single element and drop into

:17:18. > :17:21.the second water but if they do that they have to go around the big

:17:22. > :17:24.circle, jumping the jetty and then turn another circle. If horses

:17:25. > :17:36.getting tired that could exhaust them even more. COMMENTATOR: Away

:17:37. > :17:41.goes the first, it is Mark Davison, Bruce Davison here watching his son.

:17:42. > :17:48.He wrote four years ago in Kentucky when America finished fourth, he is

:17:49. > :18:07.riding this Irish bred horse. 4 .7 in the dressage, 28 individually but

:18:08. > :18:18.the Americans sat very comfortably. Hara de Pin Posted the 1969 World

:18:19. > :18:23.Championships. You can see the big spread. -- hosted. It is downhill to

:18:24. > :18:30.that fence, pretty vertical face. They have two respected, then the

:18:31. > :18:37.first of, nations, four and five. The riders have been worried about

:18:38. > :18:42.this. Over the top of the flag, got away with that. It is very early to

:18:43. > :18:48.be influential. The interesting part about this cross-country, really an

:18:49. > :18:53.gelatin. We thought it would be a horseman scores when it was

:18:54. > :19:01.full-length. But the minute off that may help some of them. The

:19:02. > :19:06.judgement not quite so difficult, but the important aspect is the

:19:07. > :19:11.going. It will be sticky. It will be sticky, it will be interesting. The

:19:12. > :19:17.first couple of horses it might not be too bad but when it cuts up it

:19:18. > :19:23.may start drying out and get sticky. They have forecast rain so it may go

:19:24. > :19:29.the other way. There is a choice of routes here. Looks as though he is

:19:30. > :19:48.going the inside line, taking the quickest route. The French on the

:19:49. > :19:59.homeground, huge support. The scores are very close. France did not have

:20:00. > :20:08.a happy time in Canterbury four years ago. Pascal finished in 2 th,

:20:09. > :20:16.in very good form. He looks as though he is set for the quicker

:20:17. > :20:35.route. He has run past it. That is 20 on the board for that. In essence

:20:36. > :20:39.that is a manner of losing momentum. This horse will not get round, if he

:20:40. > :20:45.has another refusal he will be asked to leave the course. He is going the

:20:46. > :20:53.alternative route, the black flag it, but he has put his hand up. Wow.

:20:54. > :20:59.That is drama. Very sensible move, the horse was getting pretty tired.

:21:00. > :21:03.And he had said no at the fence and to try it again when the horse has

:21:04. > :21:17.run out of penalty like that -- petrol like that, was risking a

:21:18. > :21:33.fall. Pascal Leroy. The horse looks full of running. But he has run out

:21:34. > :21:42.as well. That did not seem to be a real worry, particularly when there

:21:43. > :21:49.had been so many early on. It is at the end of the cause, it is a big

:21:50. > :21:54.step up. I thought when we were watching it that the actual solid

:21:55. > :21:59.part of the fish was quite small. They are just not focusing on it.

:22:00. > :22:05.Look at the time in the bottom right-hand corner, that is the time,

:22:06. > :22:11.counting down. Ten minutes 30 is the optimum time, for every second point

:22:12. > :22:20.for penalty, he now has less than 30 seconds to get home. Zahra Tindall,

:22:21. > :22:26.Zara Phillips looking very serious at the moment. Cannot blame her Of

:22:27. > :22:33.course this horse owned by Trevor Hemmings, huge supporter of the

:22:34. > :22:38.question world in general. This has won the Grand with those famous

:22:39. > :22:44.colours, but he will be watching every move of this, nation. Former

:22:45. > :22:53.world champion, from 2006, she sets out on her horse, High Kingdom. Of

:22:54. > :23:00.coarse had a daughter earlier this year, has not had a big preparation

:23:01. > :23:05.but they are a combination who often come to their best when it really

:23:06. > :23:14.matters. Britain need that today. Had a odds of 54.5, Zara and High

:23:15. > :23:19.Kingdom. -- had a dressage of 5 .5. It is this phase that will matter.

:23:20. > :23:27.One of the quickest over those first three fences. It is not that long

:23:28. > :23:32.since she had a baby. Quite tough to get back to this sort of level of

:23:33. > :23:38.competing in fitness but no one more determined than Zara. Wasting no

:23:39. > :23:44.time, very quickly back into the river. In the silver medal team in

:23:45. > :23:51.London of course on this very horse. Irish bred, one of the great jumping

:23:52. > :24:00.horses out of Ireland in recent times.

:24:01. > :24:09.This is a lady who knows how to get horses, she knows her point to

:24:10. > :24:15.pointing, so every hope that this horse will be fit to run for its

:24:16. > :24:19.life and that I think is going to be very important. She certainly thinks

:24:20. > :24:25.he is fit enough, not hanging around. One of the quickest so far,

:24:26. > :24:32.she is going the quicker route here on fence seven, turning inside the

:24:33. > :24:42.trees. Huge jump over the second house. The draw in the British team

:24:43. > :24:50.running order caused a lot of interest. Zara going first. And

:24:51. > :24:56.William Fox-Pitt going second. With Tina Cook going third and Harry

:24:57. > :24:59.Meade fourth. But with the circumstances we find ourselves in

:25:00. > :25:11.with these ground conditions that could be very shrewd. Of course

:25:12. > :25:17.under the management of Yogi. Zara and High Kingdom at the first water.

:25:18. > :25:21.Well written. Good bit of rebalancing, she did not just gun

:25:22. > :25:35.down into the rushes, she added another stride. She gave him time to

:25:36. > :25:41.jump the fences. Difficult to see this fence that one of the widest

:25:42. > :25:45.fences on the course. Looks quite insignificant sitting there. Two

:25:46. > :25:55.metres, the championship with. That is a long way. -- width. Zara

:25:56. > :26:02.changing her whip over, getting ready for the left turn. Zara

:26:03. > :26:08.Phillips, High Kingdom, the first of the British team out on the course.

:26:09. > :26:15.She was plenty quick enough into the ditch and nearly paid the penalty.

:26:16. > :26:19.But she is still clear. Good reactions from Zara, she kept hold

:26:20. > :26:29.of the left rains, used every inch of her body to get the horse ran

:26:30. > :26:34.that turn. -- rein. Zara has had to work hard on her fingers, not found

:26:35. > :26:40.it easy. Well aware that she as well as the horse need to be fit. As we

:26:41. > :26:44.see again the water, the first of three waters on this course. If you

:26:45. > :26:50.are just joining us, the distance has been changed, one minutes being

:26:51. > :26:56.taken off, now it is 5982 metres, with the optimum time of 10.30.

:26:57. > :27:02.Nobody anywhere near yet, five round. Did not get very high over

:27:03. > :27:22.that brush, taking a liberty, High Kingdom. But still running on well.

:27:23. > :27:26.Coming to this major water complex. I do not think there is any doubt

:27:27. > :27:48.that Zara Wood wants to keep going straight. -- would. Sit tight, sit

:27:49. > :27:55.tight! That was a bit hairy. She was a long way off that first, the horse

:27:56. > :28:02.was brilliant in that he responded and kept jumping. Zara Phillips was

:28:03. > :28:08.just about left off the back door. Coming home to the last, good news

:28:09. > :28:15.from Australia, after disappointing news that Christopher Burton had to

:28:16. > :28:23.withdraw, jumping the last. And he is going to be some 45 or 46 seconds

:28:24. > :28:35.over. He moves on to 71.7, for the first rider for Australia. Now we

:28:36. > :28:45.are back with Sara. Keep -- Zara Phillips. She landed over that one.

:28:46. > :28:50.And she is still intact. My word, that horses being generous, very

:28:51. > :28:57.generous indeed, pictures now of the Polish rider, he is asking if he has

:28:58. > :29:01.jumped the corner or not. Zara Phillips living dangerously. This is

:29:02. > :29:07.where her fitness and the horse is fitness will count. What is her

:29:08. > :29:11.time? The first of the British team riders, they could pull up a long

:29:12. > :29:17.way, they could get three clear rounds, she is still counting down.

:29:18. > :29:22.She is not over the optimum time yet, she will get time penalties,

:29:23. > :29:28.that is for sure. She is still a quarter of a mile away from home.

:29:29. > :29:33.The horse is definitely beginning to look a little bit weary but he is

:29:34. > :29:40.responding to her, which is a good sign. Yes he is responding, she is

:29:41. > :29:44.having to work and the fitness of Zara Phillips coming into play as

:29:45. > :29:52.much as the Horst white don't make an error now Zara Phillips, come on.

:29:53. > :29:58.Really they are both feeling a little bit weary, when they get

:29:59. > :30:04.home, just a last note, no dramas here we hope. She is going to be

:30:05. > :30:11.over the time, counting 30 seconds plus, but the horse has done so well

:30:12. > :30:17.and so has Zara Phillips to be fair. High Kingdom did help her out once

:30:18. > :30:23.or twice, at 68.9 it puts her at the moment as the top individual. It is

:30:24. > :30:38.good news for Britain's first team rider. Marked model of New Zealand,

:30:39. > :30:43.-- Mark Todd. He is on course. The world Olympic and European champion

:30:44. > :30:51.is getting ready to go. Michael Jung, he is the first for the

:30:52. > :31:03.Germans, this is a nine-year-old mare. Sadly he went out about two

:31:04. > :31:07.weeks ago, his original horse, this is a different horse to the one that

:31:08. > :31:17.he won the Europeans in Malmo a year ago. Great dress arch. This will be

:31:18. > :31:21.interesting now. Germany of course Olympic champions, European

:31:22. > :31:27.champions but they are not world champions, Britain won that in

:31:28. > :31:32.Kentucky's 4-mac years ago -- great dressage. To get forth in dressage

:31:33. > :31:43.is pretty impressive, it is not one that I know well, he is certainly

:31:44. > :31:47.set up with determination. Zara Phillips has just about recovered

:31:48. > :31:54.from the fastest clear so far? I know, it is really hard work out

:31:55. > :32:00.there, just put the leg out, and, they cannot gallop the same way so

:32:01. > :32:07.it is really tough on them. Wasn't he a star? I was brilliant -- he was

:32:08. > :32:11.bred, I was saying come on man, keep going it was tough on him. Was this

:32:12. > :32:17.one of the toughest cross-country is you have had to do with fitness and

:32:18. > :32:21.coming back? Definitely, London was hard because it was like riding a

:32:22. > :32:26.motorbike track, but this you have got terms, hills, ground, it is just

:32:27. > :32:30.horrible for them. They are going through it but it is not the same as

:32:31. > :32:36.they are used to and you have got to make sure that you write that way.

:32:37. > :32:41.How did you feel? I felt all right actually, he is such a star, you

:32:42. > :32:45.know? A couple of places I was hanging on the back, he keeps on

:32:46. > :32:51.going and is brilliant, I am just so glad that he is here and able to

:32:52. > :32:57.prove that, you know? And you are back on the British team? I know,

:32:58. > :33:02.and line have never been Howard first either, it is nice to get on

:33:03. > :33:08.and get on with it -- I know, and I have never been out first either, it

:33:09. > :33:21.is nice. Second water, flies through that. Very well written. He has got

:33:22. > :33:28.such a good gear going, the horse is not having to put a big effort into

:33:29. > :33:38.the jumping, he is just going along. And a fall! It is a fall for Mark

:33:39. > :33:44.Todd! It is that third water. That is really bad news for the Kiwis. It

:33:45. > :33:53.means that they are down to three because the great Sir Mark Todd is

:33:54. > :34:03.out, we will see what the reason for that was in just a moment. Here we

:34:04. > :34:14.go. He is pushing for the step up by the looks of it. Oh! It lands on its

:34:15. > :34:25.knees and he tries so hard to hang on, but sadly gravity takes over.

:34:26. > :34:34.Michaeljohn, the first of the German team getting going, he is counting

:34:35. > :34:39.down -- Michaeljohn. Pretty experienced mare. She is a mine old,

:34:40. > :34:56.and is beginning to look a little bit weary suddenly she has suddenly

:34:57. > :35:02.slowed down, and got a little tap. Still inside that ten minutes 3 , he

:35:03. > :35:05.is not going to get there but he could be quicker than High Kingdom

:35:06. > :35:12.and Zara Phillips, the fastest so far. Absolutely, it is a climb up

:35:13. > :35:19.this final few minutes of the course. 2-mac minutes to jump, time

:35:20. > :35:26.penalties from now, here we are from the world Olympic champions,

:35:27. > :35:33.they were after dressage, on a score of 40. It had them right up there,

:35:34. > :35:37.in fourth place at the last, Michael Jungle for Germany, this is a very

:35:38. > :35:44.good start for them, this is the quickest we have seen so far --

:35:45. > :35:55.Michael Jung. Stopped the clock with 29 seconds over. So he gets

:35:56. > :36:00.11.6 in time penalties. Philip Dutton is in the early stages, we

:36:01. > :36:04.are into the second riders for each team, coming down to the first of

:36:05. > :36:14.three big Waters, on this World Championship cross-country. He gets

:36:15. > :36:20.a nice six in there, waits for the water, just landed a bit steep and

:36:21. > :36:27.short, as he was in the water. Philip quite rightly saying, come on

:36:28. > :36:35.chap, keep your eye on the job. As we see Claire Rabbit, an individual

:36:36. > :36:45.for Ireland. -- Claire Abbott. That is a bit of a surprise. Tour costs

:36:46. > :36:51.through the fall? Well he was going very good, it looked like he had

:36:52. > :36:56.some petrol left, when he gets tired, he does not look very

:36:57. > :37:02.reactive, and we just got a horrible distance on the bank and I could not

:37:03. > :37:09.get him, and he smacked into the side of it and that was the end of

:37:10. > :37:18.its. Are you both OK? We are fine, he walked away, he is bright. Philip

:37:19. > :37:25.Dutton is 50 years old, now very happily married, and the horse is

:37:26. > :37:33.saying no! Sit tight, you don't move this man easily, this horse, he is

:37:34. > :37:41.definitely seeing stars. He is not going to go, is he? No. The

:37:42. > :37:47.Americans are in real trouble. Out of all chance of a medal team wise,

:37:48. > :37:52.he is retiring. That happened literally in the blink of an eye.

:37:53. > :37:58.The defending world champion Michael Jung has set a rig market, how did

:37:59. > :38:04.it feel to you? Very hard-working today, the ground is a bit soft it

:38:05. > :38:09.is very hard-working to galloping between the fences, but the horse

:38:10. > :38:13.did a really good job, I gave a bit more time between the fences in the

:38:14. > :38:18.end, but when you motivate the horse is a little bit, waking up and

:38:19. > :38:28.concentrating and listening to the rider, so I am very happy about my

:38:29. > :38:36.horse. And the second French rider, Cedric, he has ducked the wrong

:38:37. > :38:42.side! He has got a 20, definitely. It was such a good ride, he was just

:38:43. > :38:50.a little bit free, he was very casual would probably be the right

:38:51. > :38:55.word. He saw a spot to attack. And you can see now that he has gone a

:38:56. > :39:00.long way back, he has lost a bit of time because he was not thinking

:39:01. > :39:05.clearly, he went a long way back to jump that alternative fence, this is

:39:06. > :39:11.not an easy fence when you turn away from home. But he is away. Just 20

:39:12. > :39:20.jumping penalties for that refusal but that is two of the French team

:39:21. > :39:25.for 20 and they had up. -- add up. There it is, the world 's best

:39:26. > :39:36.rider, Britain come with three world ranked number ones, now can this

:39:37. > :39:42.man, win a world title? He has been so close, he was the silver

:39:43. > :39:50.medallist four years ago behind Michael Jung. He was in 10th place

:39:51. > :39:57.after dressage, Sandra Auffarth got ahead of him right at the end. And

:39:58. > :40:02.Chilli Morniing is his horse, he is the second rider for Britain and he

:40:03. > :40:07.is underway. William of course is the second of the British team

:40:08. > :40:13.members, four in that team still to come, Tina Cook and Harry Mead, and

:40:14. > :40:19.of course two important things here. Individually, he is in a very good

:40:20. > :40:22.place, written would love to win a medal team wise, they were gold

:40:23. > :40:27.medallists, they are titleholders defending the title, but there is

:40:28. > :40:36.the little job of Olympic qualification for Rio, at four and

:40:37. > :40:41.five. The only one not to take that flag out at the second corner. Just

:40:42. > :40:45.to go back to that Olympic qualification, when we were hosts in

:40:46. > :40:51.London, we automatically had a position but it is of course not the

:40:52. > :40:56.case in Rio, we need to finish in the top six teams. The top six

:40:57. > :41:02.teams, will give us qualification for Rio. Certainly the team manager

:41:03. > :41:11.has put that has a high priority. He jumps the gate at six. -- as. He has

:41:12. > :41:17.set off, it looks like he is having a go at the time, Zara Phillips had

:41:18. > :41:25.a great pathfinding around for the Brits, and his own dressage test was

:41:26. > :41:31.so good. As well as core occasion, -- qualification, William obviously

:41:32. > :41:37.has a pretty good chance of individual medals as well. This is a

:41:38. > :41:44.stallion that has got decent progeny has well, he was a horse that has

:41:45. > :41:51.meddled individually, it is a horse that has been totally prepared for

:41:52. > :41:56.this. He was a good win at Brabham, he did well, William Fox-Pitt, the

:41:57. > :42:08.second rider for Britain, at the first of the waters, with Chilli

:42:09. > :42:13.Morniing. William is looking determined and the horses

:42:14. > :42:16.responding, that is very good. He is a horse that disappointed in

:42:17. > :42:20.Kentucky Derby Mac years ago, they thought that the way to use him was

:42:21. > :42:38.to keep him fresh -- - in Kentucky to years ago. And a

:42:39. > :42:45.trainer produced this horse for Christopher Stone, the owner. Della

:42:46. > :42:56.mac William has got double rains on it

:42:57. > :43:04.is never easy if you need to readjust. It is a nice turn, one of

:43:05. > :43:09.the best terms we have seen all day. William Fox-Pitt for Great Britain,

:43:10. > :43:18.goes away from fence 11, of the 35 fences, he heads up one of the many

:43:19. > :43:24.quite energy sapping hills. Over the triple bar, over the ditch, to the

:43:25. > :43:40.rails, the bar comes a bit later, similar fences in many ways. This

:43:41. > :43:45.stallion, look at that. Look at that look of determination on William's

:43:46. > :44:05.face. William Fox-Pitt for Britain at the second quarter of the three.

:44:06. > :44:09.-- second water. William! Sara Phillips gave us heart attacks there

:44:10. > :44:13.right at the start and William did not make us all together feel

:44:14. > :44:21.comfortable -- Zara Phillips. But he is being positive, that is one good

:44:22. > :44:29.thing. But it was quite interesting, that water, he jumps so boldly,

:44:30. > :44:46.everything else has been finding it quite long. It just shows his scope.

:44:47. > :45:04.You can see here, he saw a stride and he had to go for it, quite close

:45:05. > :45:09.to the second. It was very sharp. Let us not prejudge anything here,

:45:10. > :45:17.it is a nice reassuring pat, he has still got some nice questions to

:45:18. > :45:33.come. Now over halfway round, this course, which has certainly caused a

:45:34. > :45:46.number of upsets. Beautiful. Absolutely spot-on. This man is

:45:47. > :45:52.known as Mr cool. Now, this water. William Fox-Pitt, Chile more,

:45:53. > :46:08.Britain's second team rider, coming to the second most influential jumps

:46:09. > :46:25.so far. He holds onto it. That is well ridden. Lesser horsemen would

:46:26. > :46:29.have given up on that. Now, we should not be saying this to William

:46:30. > :46:34.Fox-Pitt but hold it together William. We had a cute kittens this

:46:35. > :46:42.morning from British riders, let us have no more. We are counting down,

:46:43. > :46:48.35 seconds to get home. He won't do that but the fastest time we have

:46:49. > :47:00.seen so far is from Michael Jung, who got home in just under 11

:47:01. > :47:07.minutes. It didn't go as his best shot there. He is beginning to

:47:08. > :47:16.weary, he is still running on. He is, you are right, two fences to go,

:47:17. > :47:20.still counting down. This sport over the years, it has changed the Matic

:47:21. > :47:25.key, it is all about judgement of pace, knowing your horse, has this

:47:26. > :47:33.man absolutely done this to the team? He is now in time faults, he

:47:34. > :47:38.has got the last fence, William Fox-Pitt for Great Britain, bringing

:47:39. > :47:48.them back into the medal and the world title, in 2014. He gets it and

:47:49. > :47:55.he is home, he is 31 seconds over, he is quicker than Michael Jung not

:47:56. > :48:11.quite actually, he is just a bit slower. New Zealand, Tim at the

:48:12. > :48:19.first. He gets the extra stride he leaves the back legs on the fence,

:48:20. > :48:24.he gets away with it. As a way goes Ingrid Klimke for Germany, the

:48:25. > :48:31.individual silver medallist, in Malmo for the Europeans on this

:48:32. > :48:34.lovely mare, my word she impressed us there. A tenure rolled, she was

:48:35. > :48:46.fifth in dressage, not the sort of start that would give you

:48:47. > :48:51.confidence? It was not the best at least the horse realises it has got

:48:52. > :48:54.to do some concentrating. Setting off at 1 million miles an hour, she

:48:55. > :49:01.has done that before And Actually Four Years Ago, IN KENTUCKY, SHE DID

:49:02. > :49:07.THE SAME, SHE GOT HOME, but my word, only just, Germany did not have a

:49:08. > :49:08.good competition for years ago. After that they have been

:49:09. > :49:32.unbeatable. Good there. Tim Price, in the middle

:49:33. > :49:38.water. Very nice indeed. So William Fox-Pitt after a clear round has

:49:39. > :49:45.leapfrogged Michael Jung, Zara Phillips is still in third. First of

:49:46. > :49:50.all, your reaction to your round? I'm hugely relieved, watching it

:49:51. > :49:50.all, your reaction to your round? horrendous and it is proving

:49:51. > :49:56.incredibly tough, he is a seriously good horse, but he has never been

:49:57. > :50:00.asked to do what he has done today, I'm so proud that he is the world

:50:01. > :50:05.number one stallion, progeny on the ground, the pressure was on. Chris

:50:06. > :50:10.was saying forget he has got a reputation, but he tried so hard and

:50:11. > :50:16.I think every stride was a slog every stride was a plug, and you

:50:17. > :50:22.could feel them working. Forget anything I have ridden in before,

:50:23. > :50:27.the ground today makes Badminton looked like good ground. You tried

:50:28. > :50:33.to preserve the energy of the horse? I had to get home, it is not riding

:50:34. > :50:37.well, it is no good if you don't get through to the finish and he was

:50:38. > :50:42.dead right, of course I got slowly and I wasted time early on, there

:50:43. > :50:47.was not left in the tank, I have not seen many finishes at all. I am

:50:48. > :51:01.thrilled that he kept on jumping and that his heart stayed right in it.

:51:02. > :51:08.Phew. Remember Germany already with one team member around, Michael Jung

:51:09. > :51:16.got them off to a cracker. Ingrid Klimke at the first water. Now what

:51:17. > :51:21.happens? I would think that would not matter, if she goes around, she

:51:22. > :51:26.can correct that and she will not be penalised. It is my reading of the

:51:27. > :51:30.situation, she had to go to the right-hand side of the Lord if she

:51:31. > :51:39.did. Can she do that without crossing the tracks? No is the

:51:40. > :51:45.answer. That is a good point. There is a picture, we don't know why it

:51:46. > :51:52.is Tim Price walking home. The Kiwis will be devastated. Absolutely

:51:53. > :51:59.devastated. And that is obviously, at least something that has happened

:52:00. > :52:15.before, two from home. We are back, with Ingrid Klimke, this is crucial

:52:16. > :52:25.I would suggest now. Well ridden. Nothing chancy about that. Nicola

:52:26. > :52:39.Wilson, riding here as an individual. Quick recovery there.

:52:40. > :52:46.Picked it up very quickly, and it was back between hand and leg, in

:52:47. > :53:02.control is what that means. Ingrid Klimke. And Ingrid Klimke is home

:53:03. > :53:10.for Germany, and the tenure rolled, two Germans are home. She has got 32

:53:11. > :53:14.time penalties, 73.6, no jumping penalties of course, that is the

:53:15. > :53:27.important bit. Nicola Wilson at the second. Very gutsy and determined

:53:28. > :53:33.bit of riding. Responding to everything. All of those years of

:53:34. > :53:44.experience, putting them to really good effect, the young mayor, ten

:53:45. > :54:00.years old, championship course. -- horse. Well done. That was well

:54:01. > :54:05.done. One of the very few, that we have seen bounce that step. She had

:54:06. > :54:11.assessed it, got it, knew where she was going. You don't normally see

:54:12. > :54:15.this girl doing any thing, I just got the impression as she turned

:54:16. > :54:21.away, that she was grimacing her teeth, and saying come on, we have

:54:22. > :54:28.got a chance to get in the big time. Still clear, and we are still

:54:29. > :54:38.counting down. We have still got 30 seconds. Again, won't do it. No she

:54:39. > :54:48.won't. The best we have had is still Michael Jung, 59 seconds. Just 9

:54:49. > :54:53.seconds over. That is the best. Ten minutes 30 is the time, still

:54:54. > :55:01.counting down. The mayor is still jumping. Through the trees and the

:55:02. > :55:07.sheep, coming for home, another wave of the one and from Nicola. I think

:55:08. > :55:16.that she is responding, still responding which is good to see

:55:17. > :55:21.Just need to get a good shot here, the last thing you want to do is tip

:55:22. > :55:27.up the little box on the way home, we have now got time faults coming

:55:28. > :55:33.up towards the 32nd mark, as the last fence appears, this has been an

:55:34. > :55:39.excellent round, she has been part of the success of Britain in the

:55:40. > :55:48.last ten years. She is at the last, and over, coming home, 45 seconds

:55:49. > :56:02.over, she is going to get 18 time full, 64 and she goes third. The

:56:03. > :56:10.last water for the Frenchman. And he can still wave to the crowds, not

:56:11. > :56:20.quite yet. There it is. Will he be the next French president? Blowing

:56:21. > :56:41.kisses even. There is talk of change. Weld ridden, very positive.

:56:42. > :56:45.Ingrid Klimke is with me now, getting around and staying with your

:56:46. > :56:49.horse is a triumph? Yes I'm ready happy because last night, spoke

:56:50. > :56:54.about everything and what can happen, so exactly this situation we

:56:55. > :56:59.spoke about, that you must make sure that you don't cross your line,

:57:00. > :57:05.whatever happens, sit, turn, jump, last element, go up turn and don't

:57:06. > :57:10.cross your line. OK, turn, no crossing and then I switch off my

:57:11. > :57:15.watch, and now surviving is everything, make sure that you come

:57:16. > :57:19.safe home. But I must say, the ground, identity will see it much on

:57:20. > :57:27.television but it is taking a lot out of the horses -- I didn't think

:57:28. > :57:33.we will see it much. Black tie is 13 years old, I think there are

:57:34. > :57:50.instructions out there for the British team. That is the sort of

:57:51. > :57:56.place you can easily lose your rhythm. He can do that, that is no

:57:57. > :58:05.problem. Two numbered fences, quick thinking by Ollie. The crowd is

:58:06. > :58:09.really building up now, they are getting noisier. Really fantastic

:58:10. > :58:15.from start to finish. The crowd was cheering us on, it was lovely, at

:58:16. > :58:19.every single fence I heard my name. It is lovely. You could fill the

:58:20. > :58:25.horse, who is going backwards and forwards as well, such a treat and

:58:26. > :58:36.privilege. Oliver Townend, the individual for Britain, an black

:58:37. > :58:44.time. -- on Black Tie. He has put his hand up, and again, he landed

:58:45. > :58:49.very short on that bank. A little wary. Definitely weary, he was very

:58:50. > :58:57.quick as soon as the horse landed, to put his hand out. You have got to

:58:58. > :59:08.try, championship. Good to see him jump off. He made the right

:59:09. > :59:18.decision. He will be back. Here now is the last, Peter Flarup, can you

:59:19. > :59:25.believe it, clear until then. Lucy Jackson, the individual for New

:59:26. > :59:33.Zealand, could it be the same? Would you believe that? Would you believe?

:59:34. > :59:41.There is a horse and rider that had gone so well, and another one to

:59:42. > :59:45.succumb to the third water. We saw Oliver Townend calling it a day it

:59:46. > :59:50.is really tough out there. It is tough, it is his second chance at

:59:51. > :59:57.this level, he was for the last time round. But I think he was caught out

:59:58. > :00:00.by the grounds, it is -- he is a very small horse when you stand into

:00:01. > :00:04.him and even when he was jumping well he felt like he was landing in

:00:05. > :00:10.a heap and we were ending up on half distances all the time. He tried his

:00:11. > :00:16.best. I think come another big event on firmer ground I do not think we

:00:17. > :00:26.will see him do that. Will he get a break now? He is 100%. Even to turn

:00:27. > :00:30.back on the alternative was hard work and he still wanted to do it,

:00:31. > :00:35.bless him. We will have a well-deserved holiday, hopefully.

:00:36. > :00:42.William Fox-Pitt leading, 50.3, Michael Jung in second. The world

:00:43. > :00:44.Olympic and European champion, reigning world champion. Then Annie

:00:45. > :00:54.Clover, Nicola Wilson, brilliant round, currently in third place

:00:55. > :01:02.Only two to go for Peter Thomsen. One of the quickest up this hill, I

:01:03. > :01:25.have to say. Bit of a flyer, the first we have

:01:26. > :01:33.seen do that all day. And his time will be crucial. Peter Thomsen at

:01:34. > :01:39.the final fence the Germany, that is a good score for the German team.

:01:40. > :01:50.Peter Thomsen finishing with 14 time penalties. He moves into third

:01:51. > :01:57.place. Qalao Des Mers with Maxime Livio, third team rider on this

:01:58. > :02:04.ten-year-old. Important round for France if they are going to get

:02:05. > :02:12.themselves back into contention So far, so good, as he makes his way to

:02:13. > :02:18.the middle water. On the whole this water has jumped well. It has,

:02:19. > :02:23.actually, quite a formidable line as you approach the water. The horses

:02:24. > :02:29.are seeing it well in advance. No real surprises. As long as the

:02:30. > :02:39.riders are positive it seems to be working. There is a very nervous

:02:40. > :02:43.French team. I do not think they have any fingernails left. And we

:02:44. > :02:54.joined the Dutch rider rumour has it. , now quite experienced, 51

:02:55. > :03:03.dressage, a good line to the corner, a good line to both corners. The

:03:04. > :03:11.French crowd beginning to raise the Cheers, the best French performance

:03:12. > :03:16.so far, Maxime Livio an Qalao Des Mers, he is into the penalty times.

:03:17. > :03:25..4 for every of those seconds that ticked by. He comes to the last the

:03:26. > :03:29.Frenchman, Maxime Livio, the first-team member and he is over the

:03:30. > :03:36.last, a good round. One of the new stars on the block for France. No

:03:37. > :03:43.jumping penalties. Looks like 1 .2, a quick round. Despite going the

:03:44. > :03:51.long way. He has gone into third. Watch the faces now, look at that,

:03:52. > :04:06.yes, they are pleased. So the first water now for Canada's

:04:07. > :04:12.Bennett-Awad. That will be a 20 That certainly is, oh dear, quite a

:04:13. > :04:16.surprise. I walked this course and I thought there could not be a better

:04:17. > :04:20.course for this horse that she has not really been travelling since the

:04:21. > :04:27.fourth fence. The big decision again. She has not really been

:04:28. > :04:38.travelling forward and jumping out of her normal rhythm. Very

:04:39. > :04:45.irritating 20 penalties to get. 60 penalties. Maxime Livio the youngest

:04:46. > :04:48.member of the French team, you have just completed clear,

:04:49. > :04:55.congratulations, how did you find it? It was amazing, really. I run

:04:56. > :05:00.every weekend everywhere in France, Europe, in cross-country and I have

:05:01. > :05:06.never spent moments like this. Because all of the French people

:05:07. > :05:11.were here for us. Was crazy. To hear them from the first fence to the

:05:12. > :05:26.last. It was amazing, really. Back with Tina. Kristina Cook the third

:05:27. > :05:30.rider for Britain, has started. Very experienced rider, relatively

:05:31. > :05:34.inexperienced horse. Silly run out at the start of the cross-country at

:05:35. > :05:39.Badminton this year. Then got themselves together and jumped a

:05:40. > :05:44.brilliant round over what proved to be a very difficult course. Former

:05:45. > :05:49.European champion of 2009, Olympic individual and team Ron 's medallist

:05:50. > :06:00.in Hong Kong, one of Britain's great. Tina Cook, on this home De

:06:01. > :06:07.Novo News. This is 64, Carlos Fernandez, the Spanish rider, on the

:06:08. > :06:11.floor. And this is the fall at the log file, that is the incident that

:06:12. > :06:20.put the Spanish combination out of the competition. -- log pile. It is

:06:21. > :06:33.a big fence, it has been a near miss for one or two. But Tina comes now

:06:34. > :06:39.to this combination. Looking good. No one better going at third man

:06:40. > :06:50.Tina, very important part of the team. Huge experience. -- third van.

:06:51. > :06:54.Had a great junior career. Completed in 1993 in the Europeans. She has

:06:55. > :07:01.been at the forefront of the sport ever since. On some great horses.

:07:02. > :07:02.Gold medallist in the World Championships of 1994. Tina Cook at

:07:03. > :07:16.the water. Very well written. Shook the horse

:07:17. > :07:21.up at the right time, got his attention and then wrote it. --

:07:22. > :07:27.ridden. All of her experience showing. It is those black colours,

:07:28. > :07:41.and it is the black colours of the man who won Badminton in 2012, John

:07:42. > :07:47.Padgett -- Jonathan Paget. He has been hitting the headlines of course

:07:48. > :07:52.that he would like to put the past behind him on the horse he won

:07:53. > :08:03.Badminton on. He is away. New Zealand now wanting some good news,

:08:04. > :08:15.not a lot of that so far. Paget Over the first two fences. Tina Cook back

:08:16. > :08:21.at the water. Trying for the bounce. Very good. Very good.

:08:22. > :08:27.Well-organised, well setup. John Paget setting up pretty quickly

:08:28. > :08:33.Price came unstuck as well. I have a feeling, though he has run out.

:08:34. > :08:40.Well. That is another disappointment for the Kiwis. It is not going

:08:41. > :08:44.right. They were very definitely fancied to give the Germans a real

:08:45. > :08:50.run for the gold medal but they are not going to do it. And of course,

:08:51. > :08:56.remember, he was in third place at the dressage on 38, one of the three

:08:57. > :09:03.to go under 40 and that will put him out of the individual.

:09:04. > :09:18.Tina Cook coming towards home. The problem is not over yet. Now what is

:09:19. > :09:26.happening here? This is Paget surely walking off course. We are with Tina

:09:27. > :09:33.Cook, and according to the computer she is still clear. She is coming to

:09:34. > :09:38.the last fence. A clear round is exactly what Britain wants, she is

:09:39. > :09:44.35 seconds over and counting. At the last, the third member of Britain's

:09:45. > :09:48.team, definitely one to put Britain in the fight for a medal and she is

:09:49. > :09:54.through. This young horse has twice been around Bampton, twice had just

:09:55. > :09:57.the odd run out and have always said that this is a horse that can do the

:09:58. > :10:06.job and he has proved it this afternoon so she has finished on

:10:07. > :10:22.67.6, and that puts her in sixth. Britain now in a very strong place.

:10:23. > :10:26.Dirk Schrade Goes for Germany. Not the most orthodox jumper but has a

:10:27. > :10:44.great heart. Goes very high over his fences. Well. Things are changing.

:10:45. > :10:48.They are. 36-year-old Dirk Schrade, 20 jumping penalties, he scoops

:10:49. > :10:57.around to jump the next fence, the long way. He will lose time. Part of

:10:58. > :11:04.the team gold medal in London. He is away. He will need to keep his head.

:11:05. > :11:17.He will not need to gallop this horse off its feet. This I think now

:11:18. > :11:27.is the Long Way round, hitting the top, gives him a ducking, says I do

:11:28. > :11:37.not want to go in there if that is what happens. And down goes Denis

:11:38. > :11:42.Mesples at one of the softer fences. Tina Cook has ensured that Britain

:11:43. > :11:46.will be riding for a medal tomorrow. Congratulations. Thank you, I am so

:11:47. > :11:51.pleased. One of the most difficult championship courses and I'm really

:11:52. > :11:55.pleased with this young horse. He seems to have a lovely long stride

:11:56. > :12:03.so you don't have the hook him up too much and. I was not sure how he

:12:04. > :12:07.would cope on this ground. He is by a thoroughbred but he does not have

:12:08. > :12:13.the acceleration like a thoroughbred and it was trying to judge the pace

:12:14. > :12:16.early that I had some left for the last few fences which some were

:12:17. > :12:22.struggling with. He is really honest, were there any moments you

:12:23. > :12:26.had a worry? Loads! Even if it goes well whenever you have a

:12:27. > :12:29.cross-country round. Not really scary but so many of the

:12:30. > :12:34.combinations you have to be on top of your game, really making it very

:12:35. > :12:38.clear. There are places where the ground is quite soft. It has dried

:12:39. > :12:41.amazingly and they have done a fantastic job to make it as good as

:12:42. > :12:49.they can but it is a real stamina test. That is a good sign, Denis

:12:50. > :12:55.Mesples on his feet, the France but that does mean elimination. And

:12:56. > :13:04.there is a dark out, the second refusal for Dirk Schrade and Hop And

:13:05. > :13:15.Skip. He has now got 40 jumping penalties. Pressure will be on the

:13:16. > :13:27.lady who did so well in the London Olympics. So, this competition is

:13:28. > :13:34.going to go right down to the wire. Hop And Skip looking weary away from

:13:35. > :13:47.the water. Only four fences to jump. Away goes John Al Price, her husband

:13:48. > :13:54.Jim on the team hair. -- Jonelle Price For the now can she bring some

:13:55. > :14:00.pride back for the family and for New Zealand? Dirk Schrade coming

:14:01. > :14:08.home, Hop And Skip with 40 jumping penalties and time penalties as

:14:09. > :14:14.well. He has 135.3. They will want to discard by one, the Germans, that

:14:15. > :14:18.will be the job of Sandra Auffarth. This is the team situation and the

:14:19. > :14:28.moment. This is with three riders to count. That means that Hop And Skip

:14:29. > :14:33.is in there. It must do. Germany have the lead but only just ahead of

:14:34. > :14:37.Britain. One or two big names there at the end, United States and New

:14:38. > :14:43.Zealand, with big scores because anybody who does not get around gets

:14:44. > :14:47.1000 penalties. As we look at the scoreboard, four British riders in

:14:48. > :14:54.the top seven. Who would have thought that would be the case? It

:14:55. > :15:00.is not over yet. It could change. As Jonelle Price puts in another lovely

:15:01. > :15:08.piece of writing over 36 and 27 -- riding. Classic Moet still answering

:15:09. > :15:12.all the questions at the moment Back with Andreas Ostholt for

:15:13. > :15:22.Germany. Jonelle Price has not eased up, and nor has this man. He is

:15:23. > :15:38.flying, I have to say. That is worrying me. The middle water. 5,

:15:39. > :15:43.16. 17. Gives you much more of an idea of the angle. It is the first

:15:44. > :15:58.time we have seen it like that. I think so. Could this be anywhere

:15:59. > :16:03.near that time? Have not got any body near, and she is only just

:16:04. > :16:10.outside the time now. This is the quickest we have seen. A great round

:16:11. > :16:15.by Jonelle Price, she does what her husband tried to do and she does it

:16:16. > :16:24.very well indeed. Well done, third place. Classic Moet. 52.5, just four

:16:25. > :16:34.time penalties, that means that this individual is still far from over.

:16:35. > :16:38.And for Belgium, Karin Donckers 40.3 in the dressage, she has been a

:16:39. > :16:43.member of the Belgian team for a lot of years now, very experienced.

:16:44. > :16:49.Belgium have had their disappointments today. Their first

:16:50. > :17:01.rider the Belgium this morning, did not get round. Third rider, went

:17:02. > :17:09.very well, Lara De Liedekerke. Just outside the top ten now. So now it

:17:10. > :17:14.is definitely up to Karin Donckers. This is Andreas Ostholt. Coming

:17:15. > :17:20.through to the last two fences for Germany. He is an age 6.3. If he

:17:21. > :17:26.stayed on that for any reason he would go ahead of William Fox-Pitt,

:17:27. > :17:34.if he is inside the time. It is fast, is it fast enough? Andreas

:17:35. > :17:40.Ostholt, the individual for Germany, So Is Et. He is over. He has looked

:17:41. > :17:49.fast, it is not quite as fast as we thought. He is 26 seconds over but a

:17:50. > :17:58.great round from Frank's brother, who has jumped into international

:17:59. > :18:08.recognition. The very popular Jean Teulure, he won the world title in

:18:09. > :18:15.2002. Jean Teulere He won the world title in 2002. He is 60 years old

:18:16. > :18:22.now. The wrong side of the flag The wrong side. It has been a

:18:23. > :18:25.disappointing day for the New Zealand team but riding individually

:18:26. > :18:29.Jonelle Price has just registered the fastest clear round on Classic

:18:30. > :18:34.Moet. You set off like you were in a race. But as I came across the

:18:35. > :18:38.finish they said to me if I started quicker I would have got the time. I

:18:39. > :18:43.assume he was joking. Either way I had to sit and see because she was

:18:44. > :18:47.travelling beautifully. I could not believe it as I came out of the last

:18:48. > :18:50.water and let the rain is out and she took off up the last hill. I

:18:51. > :18:55.could not be more pleased with the way she finished. Still full of

:18:56. > :18:59.could not be more pleased with the running as she comes to the last

:19:00. > :19:12.turn, Karin Donckers for Belgium. Getting hold of the horse. 33, 4

:19:13. > :19:21.seconds over. Karin Donckers as God 13.6 time. She goes into fourth

:19:22. > :19:28.place. This is the Aussie, an Kilronan. He says well done to the

:19:29. > :19:32.horse, you did it better than me. Little bit backward thinking, but he

:19:33. > :19:38.made the right decision. Would have been a long way off. Our cameraman

:19:39. > :19:41.having a spot of fun. As now we joined Andrew Nicholson, bronze

:19:42. > :19:52.medallist four years ago on this wonderful horse, Nereo. 45.3 his

:19:53. > :19:59.dressage, it is certainly good enough. He was 13th but he is close.

:20:00. > :20:06.He will not hang about. Paul Tapner trying to get his share. It is a

:20:07. > :20:18.quickest round, but it is not quite quick enough to put him into the

:20:19. > :20:23.frame. -- --quickish. That will put Australia back into the picture He

:20:24. > :20:31.goes 10th individually finishing on that 66.6. An Kilronan. As a way

:20:32. > :20:37.goes Sandra Auffarth, this is the lady that matters now, the William

:20:38. > :20:42.Fox-Pitt. The two riders on the course will decide where we will be

:20:43. > :20:46.at the end of the individual and insider's case, at the end of the

:20:47. > :20:57.teams. Britain at the moment, it looks like just over a refusal

:20:58. > :21:00.behind the Germans. The little hesitation but certainly no

:21:01. > :21:08.penalties. He is into the water Andrew Nicholson. And as again. He

:21:09. > :21:18.sits so still as the radio does all the work. -- Nereo. Harry Meade

:21:19. > :21:29.coming home. Has gone clear, not that quick. But his elbows bandaged,

:21:30. > :21:33.what a ride. There will be one very proud mum and dad for what their son

:21:34. > :21:41.has achieved in the last 12 months. Harry Meade home, an 82.7. Sandra

:21:42. > :21:51.Auffarth, look at that gallop, that is a long stride, that is covering

:21:52. > :21:56.the ground. Was on 35. Just pulling a little. Pulling quite a lot,

:21:57. > :22:02.actually. Keen to get over. Coming to the water. We will give you this

:22:03. > :22:15.situation with Chilli Morning in a moment. My word. Living

:22:16. > :22:24.dangerously. Bit of indecision about how much striding. Andrew Nicholson

:22:25. > :22:37.flying. Don't disregard this man. He is in the mix. Felix Vogg just

:22:38. > :22:42.finishing. One of the stars left, Sandra Auffarth, makes it look so

:22:43. > :22:52.easy. Look at and stride. Andrew Nicholson coming to that final

:22:53. > :23:01.water. The last big test. Nereo Got it. And got the other, came inside

:23:02. > :23:19.the flag, I am pretty sure. We're back with Germany. Into the middle

:23:20. > :23:25.water. Coming to, huge jump. Bravely sharp. Wasn't he sharp? The horse

:23:26. > :23:30.beginning to get a little weary for Andrew Nicholson. He is counting

:23:31. > :23:39.down Dell. And now he is counting up, coming for home. He is coming to

:23:40. > :23:43.take seconds over, will he get ahead of William Fox-Pitt? He gets close

:23:44. > :23:55.to the last but Nicholson is there for New Zealand. He is 17 seconds

:23:56. > :24:02.over. He is 7.2 time and Nereo has a score of 52.5 which means that there

:24:03. > :24:07.are four within two and Sandra Auffarth still to come. The last

:24:08. > :24:15.horse on the course. He is a jumper, but he will have two shorten up For

:24:16. > :24:18.that last big step. Here we go. Over the first narrow, over the second.

:24:19. > :24:24.CHEERING It is looking good for Germany. It

:24:25. > :24:30.is looking good for Germany for both the team and individual. It is in

:24:31. > :24:36.this lady's hands. But I think Sandra Auffarth is going to do it.

:24:37. > :24:43.She is going to be 30 seconds and counting. APPLAUSE

:24:44. > :24:53.With one sense left. -- fence. She is over. And she stops the clerk at

:24:54. > :25:01.11.11 .51. -- clock. 52.0, William Fox-Pitt stays in the lead, Sandra

:25:02. > :25:07.Auffarth in second. Did you enjoy today? I enjoyed it, it was really

:25:08. > :25:11.exciting. The course was not easy, the ground was really difficult But

:25:12. > :25:18.I enjoyed it, the crowd was so great, so many came from Germany and

:25:19. > :25:22.I think all the French people were supporting me because of my French

:25:23. > :25:28.horse, so that was really nice. Great effort and to go last and do

:25:29. > :25:32.well is terrific. Thank you. Outstanding performance by the

:25:33. > :25:39.British team, with all four what is jumping Herbert desperately sad

:25:40. > :25:55.news, is that Harry Meade's horse collapsed in the finishing area but

:25:56. > :26:03.unfortunately Wild Lone has died. It is awful for this to have happened.

:26:04. > :26:06.It is, all of the British athletes were riding superbly and

:26:07. > :26:09.demonstrated the highest degree of horsemanship and in 11 years of

:26:10. > :26:12.doing this job it was one of the proudest days in how they read.

:26:13. > :26:22.Unfortunately, as you have just explained, Wild Lone, ridden by

:26:23. > :26:26.Harry Meade, collapsed in the wash down area. There was a vet there

:26:27. > :26:31.with the horse and other vets were in attendance immediately.

:26:32. > :26:35.Everything that could have been done was done. But unfortunately the

:26:36. > :26:40.horse died. It is terribly sad and as a federation and a team we send

:26:41. > :26:46.our sympathies to Harry and his wife and as you know, the grooms

:26:47. > :26:50.especially, and to the owners, fantastic supporters of Harry and of

:26:51. > :26:53.the sport. It is sad but today we need to remember it as a day when

:26:54. > :26:58.the team pulled it out the hat and coat beautifully with very difficult

:26:59. > :27:04.course. This is a horse you have known for a long time, how did he

:27:05. > :27:09.feel out there? He felt wonderful. The first-class ride. He felt like

:27:10. > :27:14.he was cross country schooling all the way round. But I feel very

:27:15. > :27:22.strongly that although the ground conditions are testing and it is

:27:23. > :27:26.hilly, that played absolutely no part in what happened. He was well

:27:27. > :27:33.within himself. And finished extremely well. My only regret with

:27:34. > :27:37.the whole day is that I was possibly a little conservative and we had

:27:38. > :27:43.more in the tank at the end. From the competitive point of view. But I

:27:44. > :27:55.really feel that the cross-country test set today was not the cause for

:27:56. > :27:58.the horse, really sadly dying. It is always a really tremendous shock

:27:59. > :28:03.particularly with a horse like this who has performed so well. How will

:28:04. > :28:07.you remember him, how good was he? Ireland is saying to my father when

:28:08. > :28:11.he was six years old, I had been riding him the two years and I said

:28:12. > :28:14.to my father that I felt one day people would say he was the best

:28:15. > :28:19.cross-country course in the world and I think he has proved that in

:28:20. > :28:23.the last few years. -- cross-country horse. He finished in third place at

:28:24. > :28:29.Badminton in similar conditions this year. He was a real star today and

:28:30. > :28:33.gave me a textbook ride. We really appreciate you coming to talk to us

:28:34. > :28:39.and I am so sorry. We can just confirm the standings at the end of

:28:40. > :28:43.the cross-country. William Fox-Pitt in the lead bird cage is not even

:28:44. > :28:47.have one fence in hand over Sandra Auffarth of Germany and Michael

:28:48. > :28:51.Jung, defending champion. Jonelle Price had the fastest clear round in

:28:52. > :28:56.cross-country, wonderful piece of writing. And full marks to Nicola

:28:57. > :29:09.Wilson, in 12 plays riding as an individual. A good team

:29:10. > :29:15.performance. If we look at the team standings, Germany lead the way Top

:29:16. > :29:20.six teams will qualify for Brazil, the host nation is already qualified

:29:21. > :29:24.but the big names, not possible for them to complete because they did

:29:25. > :29:30.not get riders around the cross-country course, it is a very

:29:31. > :29:33.telling day, we were walking the showjumping course and obviously

:29:34. > :29:39.Great Britain have three horses left to rely on, what is the mood in the

:29:40. > :29:45.camp today? There is a bit of concern, they are upset about the

:29:46. > :29:49.horse, they are a very upbeat, they performed really almost above

:29:50. > :29:52.expectations, so they are very positive and they are all quite

:29:53. > :29:58.capable of jumping clear here and it is luck of the day. For William

:29:59. > :30:03.Fox-Pitt, possibly the best known in eventing, he has won everything

:30:04. > :30:09.except for an individual title, this would be huge for him? It would be

:30:10. > :30:16.enormous, he has won everything numerous times. I hope that it is

:30:17. > :30:19.his day, chilling more is very capable -- Chilli Morniing. I

:30:20. > :30:23.watched him warm up and he was in great form. I know that the team

:30:24. > :30:30.very much wants to ride for Harry because if they win a team medal, he

:30:31. > :30:34.will join them. There has been a lot of respect for the way he handled

:30:35. > :30:40.things yesterday because it is really never easy, massive crowd in

:30:41. > :30:47.the stadium and a lot of British bands. Let us see how the

:30:48. > :30:54.showjumping phase armfuls. -- British fans, let us see how the

:30:55. > :30:59.showjumping unfolds. COMMENTATOR: And this is Zara Phillips, with her

:31:00. > :31:02.horse High Kingdom, great performance yesterday but we need a

:31:03. > :31:11.clear round to put pressure on the Germans. Well Zara Phillips, first

:31:12. > :31:17.to go for the Brits, she did a brilliant job, there is no doubt

:31:18. > :31:22.that the first riders of the team were out there as guinea pigs, they

:31:23. > :31:29.had to find out how the conditions were, what it was as riding. Having

:31:30. > :31:45.just come back from a little bit of time off, courtesy of a little baby

:31:46. > :31:49.girl, she is back in full form. Moving on to make sure that the time

:31:50. > :32:01.is OK, not wasting any time in these terms. Keep them steady, steady

:32:02. > :32:13.steady. Just a bit quick. On the edge of your seats at this point.

:32:14. > :32:29.Turning for home. Down this final line. What a start! What a

:32:30. > :32:35.performance! Zara Phillips is always at her best under pressure and we

:32:36. > :32:38.have seen it yet again. It is a great clear round and it is still

:32:39. > :32:48.game on between Germany and Great Britain. What about De Novo News?

:32:49. > :32:54.The 11-year-old, homebred, by the Gifford 's, written by the former

:32:55. > :33:00.European champion 2009, currently 14th, the same instructions as for

:33:01. > :33:20.Zara Phillips. To keep the pressure on Germany. I'm lucky at that fence,

:33:21. > :33:35.Tina is an incredibly experienced rider, she knows her job. And, De

:33:36. > :33:50.Novo News, called home and at home, because his head is full of

:33:51. > :33:51.experience. -- Herman at home. How beautifully written.

:33:52. > :34:18.-- how beautifully ridden. Another one away. Just keep calm, here. This

:34:19. > :34:29.final line, one to go. And lovely over the last, what a pity to have

:34:30. > :34:35.these two down. They go on now, to 75.6, their 80s. Just got that

:34:36. > :34:47.little bit of breathing space for Germany. We are now with Saturn for

:34:48. > :34:53.Australia. Looking good for Australia, they were in bronze medal

:34:54. > :34:58.position, but as it stands, they are almost certain to go down to fifth,

:34:59. > :35:04.it did not start well. This is down to the third member to jump already,

:35:05. > :35:08.that is currently the situation A clear round I don't think we'll be

:35:09. > :35:25.good enough to stop them losing that bronze medal position. The Badminton

:35:26. > :35:32.winner of 2010, riding this horse, certainly written under pressure

:35:33. > :35:44.before, -- certainly ridden under pressure before. He is going to lift

:35:45. > :35:49.this horse around the course if he does not jump it. He was leading

:35:50. > :35:54.overnight after cross-country at this time, though not on this horse,

:35:55. > :36:10.he had several fences down to finish fifth, he won't want to do that

:36:11. > :36:21.again. This does not look like it. The last gate! Oh! Now, it is Nicola

:36:22. > :36:35.Wilson, an individual for Great Britain, riding Annie Clover. Oh

:36:36. > :36:44.dear! They did so well yesterday, just 18 time full is, not bad

:36:45. > :36:49.experience, this horse. -- faults. We know that Annie Clover is a

:36:50. > :36:55.really good horse, and normally is really good in this showjumping

:36:56. > :37:00.phase. Just kicked the first fence out and slightly unsettled the

:37:01. > :37:10.partnership, made a bit of a Horlicks at the second, settle down

:37:11. > :37:18.now. Nicola who has been such a brilliant member of the team for so

:37:19. > :37:29.many years now. But, here as an individual. But this is a serious

:37:30. > :37:35.replacement for her. Two opposition bars who is now retired from the big

:37:36. > :37:41.team competitions. Annie Clover certainly living up to this

:37:42. > :37:56.responsibility, but this is a star of the future. Just showing a bit of

:37:57. > :38:04.inexperience. Such a talented rider, if they can get together and use

:38:05. > :38:09.this experience. Yes. They will be back. It is a difficult one, that

:38:10. > :38:19.line, you either have two keep going, you add early. Nicola making

:38:20. > :38:26.the mayor take a good look at that fence as they rebuild it. That is

:38:27. > :38:36.Nicola Wilson for Great Britain With Annie Clover.

:38:37. > :38:42.Peter Thomsen, the individual for Germany now. The horse was Olympic

:38:43. > :38:50.gold medallist in Germany and Hong Kong, has been a tremendous servant

:38:51. > :38:57.to German eventing. They went well yesterday, just 14 time penalties.

:38:58. > :39:02.Currently 10th on 60.3. He is an individual, remember, still to jump

:39:03. > :39:11.for the Germans, the world titleholder of course, Michael Jung,

:39:12. > :39:17.and another, Sandra, Sandra Auffarth is currently in second place and

:39:18. > :39:23.Michael Jung is currently third So much at stake in the next few

:39:24. > :39:29.minutes. And the horse is looking good in this phase. He is so

:39:30. > :39:38.experienced. He has been in numerous teams for the Germans. Running as an

:39:39. > :39:49.individual here. Doing a bread job at this. -- doing a brilliant job.

:39:50. > :39:53.That is what this squad is all about, all around horsemanship,

:39:54. > :40:02.jumping out is so much more important than it was, this man is a

:40:03. > :40:14.really complete horseman. Confident round. That is a copybook around,

:40:15. > :40:25.from the individual Peter Thomsen. One chance for glory for France

:40:26. > :40:37.coming now, just 13.2 time penalties, for a lovely round. 8.5

:40:38. > :40:48.is his score, he is currently eight. This is their last team member. The

:40:49. > :40:52.horse added eight to his score - another rider added eight to his

:40:53. > :41:01.score, and another 18 as well to his score. The French have slipped out

:41:02. > :41:02.of challenge, for the moment, France at the moment are battling with

:41:03. > :41:23.Australia, on equivalent points Well, Maxime did a brilliant job

:41:24. > :41:45.yesterday, and he's a doing a fantastic job here today.

:41:46. > :41:50.But can he impress on this phase? He certainly looks as if years, he is a

:41:51. > :42:01.real talent for France the future. -- as if he is. And he can

:42:02. > :42:02.real talent for France the future. individual, that is a stylish clear!

:42:03. > :42:18.And the French are jumping up and down. 58.5. Karin Donckers for

:42:19. > :42:28.Belgium. She has been a superstar for Belgium for many years, riding

:42:29. > :42:39.Fletcha Van't Verahof. Currently on 55.9. She has a fence down, if she

:42:40. > :42:40.does Maxime will come up again, she is just one fence up behind the

:42:41. > :42:50.lead, if she puts in a clear round, then

:42:51. > :43:00.those in front of her have got to clear as well to stay ahead of her.

:43:01. > :43:03.Everything now is costly. This horse 's very impressive across the

:43:04. > :43:09.country. And looks equally impressive in the stadium. Just too

:43:10. > :43:14.quickly confirmed that the Netherlands have won a bronze, that

:43:15. > :43:19.is amazing at worlds, it means that France finish fourth and Australia

:43:20. > :43:37.fifth. We have got the individual and team still to decide. Fix your

:43:38. > :43:49.hat, Karen, get it right. Just keep your cool for this last line. What a

:43:50. > :43:56.finish. She has been so near, a medal for many years, I'm afraid

:43:57. > :44:02.that will keep her out yet again. At the last, 59.9, she will finish on.

:44:03. > :44:14.So she drops below, Maxime who is now up to sixth. But now, the man

:44:15. > :44:20.who won bronze individually four years ago, the great Andrew

:44:21. > :44:25.Nicholson from New Zealand. Andrew Nicholson, bronze medal four years

:44:26. > :44:38.ago but he is not going to do it again. He is now on a 56.5. He was

:44:39. > :44:43.within one fence. Five of them are all within one fence of the leader.

:44:44. > :44:50.That first fence has been expensive for a lot of competitors. Yes as we

:44:51. > :45:01.said earlier, it seems to be the beginning of the course that has an

:45:02. > :45:09.effect. Looks more awake now. The great Spanish show-jumper, a great

:45:10. > :45:14.man to have outside. He is having trouble here. And he comes up again,

:45:15. > :45:31.the French have got more to celebrate. Fighting a bit as well.

:45:32. > :45:42.This is expensive. Throw it away. Just the last, the he leaves that

:45:43. > :45:50.one, it is 64.5. Karin Donckers comes up, so does Boyd Martin and

:45:51. > :46:00.Peter Thomsen. Andrew Nicholson crops right down to ninth. Tim was

:46:01. > :46:09.in the team and he did not get around, but Janel with a lovely

:46:10. > :46:14.11-year-old, Classic Moet. Was quite brilliant yesterday. Went around the

:46:15. > :46:23.course quicker than anybody, was actually just with four time faults.

:46:24. > :46:32.Just run a little bit at that third fence, with its head up. It does

:46:33. > :46:42.ease the pressure on the potential medallists, of course. Actually that

:46:43. > :46:49.was very unlucky because looking at this horse, it has a great jump One

:46:50. > :46:56.eighth Shire, I believe is the breeding of this mare. One hastens

:46:57. > :47:09.to add, by a horse that has got a lot of fans, up in Yorkshire. And

:47:10. > :47:17.the more you watch, the more you think that was so unlucky, a very

:47:18. > :47:31.expensive poll. She keeps it to one down, if she does she will actually

:47:32. > :47:42.stay in fourth place. It is a good performance considering that was an

:47:43. > :47:53.early poll. Michael Jung the only man to won all of the titles before,

:47:54. > :47:57.riding his third horse -- to win. Currently lying third, 52.3, less

:47:58. > :48:07.than one fence behind William Fox-Pitt. Well it is another great

:48:08. > :48:14.performance across country, yesterday, for Mark Young. And this

:48:15. > :48:28.horse, was bustling around that course. Answering all of the

:48:29. > :48:35.questions. It is a clear round here, it would almost certainly guarantee

:48:36. > :48:45.Germany's gold, I would think. Barring a disaster. That was a good

:48:46. > :48:50.rub, he really had to work coming out of the combinations to make that

:48:51. > :48:57.spread. As often happens, he is a bit casual that the next fence. And

:48:58. > :49:04.with the European title last year, coming to the last, time is fine.

:49:05. > :49:09.And he has done it! Again he has shown why he is one of the finest

:49:10. > :49:17.horse men that we have ever seen, he has guaranteed could he still

:49:18. > :49:21.retained his world individual title? And I think that gives Germany Gold,

:49:22. > :49:29.we have still got Sandra Auffarth of course. Confirmation of his score,

:49:30. > :49:36.it means that now, Britain is the best part of 20 marks behind

:49:37. > :49:44.Germany, it has opened up. But here comes Sandra over fast, she was a

:49:45. > :49:48.show-jumper, her parents have a very respected stud. This is an

:49:49. > :49:55.outstanding horse, French bread it is now 12 years old, it won Olympic

:49:56. > :50:00.individually and a team gold medal. They are a very outstanding

:50:01. > :50:10.combination, currently lying second. Currently under two marks, one

:50:11. > :50:15.behind William Fox-Pitt. This is one that I would have loved to have been

:50:16. > :50:22.on yesterday, looked fantastic. Slightly hairy moment at the water

:50:23. > :50:30.jump. So much ability is. This is a jumper. -- so much ability. Father

:50:31. > :50:42.and son, they work so well together, the Germans. Remember Britain, they

:50:43. > :50:47.were world champions four years ago, they could be about to be

:50:48. > :51:03.losing that title. They are 16. marks behind. WoW and how impressive

:51:04. > :51:16.is this jumping? And Henry, the man responsible for getting a lot of

:51:17. > :51:22.horses home. My word. One to go Absolutely brilliant. You cannot

:51:23. > :51:29.take it away from the German team, they have deserved that. Ingrid

:51:30. > :51:46.going back to join them, they guaranteed gold. There is the

:51:47. > :51:52.British team. The wife Alice, shortly to expect. This could be the

:51:53. > :52:24.moment that we have all been waiting for, this man to achieve. The next

:52:25. > :52:38.90 seconds will tell. Still into bronze, cannot afford another. He

:52:39. > :53:20.won bronze in the Europeans last year. Oh! He jumping so well. Just a

:53:21. > :53:31.tiny old rub. The last line. The time is fine I think. The last.

:53:32. > :53:42.CHEERING He has won bronze! William Fox-Pitt,

:53:43. > :53:48.so hoping that he would win the championship title that he deserves,

:53:49. > :53:59.it has eluded him all his career, a classic oarsmen. But Sandra Auffarth

:54:00. > :54:10.wins, and Michael Jung is in second position. Here is the individual

:54:11. > :54:17.situation. Here are those team standings. Germany have done it

:54:18. > :54:22.They have now got all of the titles. And the top six getting those

:54:23. > :54:29.tickets to Rio. A step onto the podium, the silver medallists, of

:54:30. > :54:33.Great Britain. It is great that Harry Mead gets a medal because he

:54:34. > :54:45.played his part in this team, believe me. William, now Tina, she

:54:46. > :54:52.of course was in the team four years ago as indeed William was, a world

:54:53. > :55:00.silver medal, the first one for Zara Phillips, she has had gold but not a

:55:01. > :55:03.silver. And now Harry Mead, his first championship, he takes home a

:55:04. > :55:15.medal and he will be back, believe me. Great Britain win team silver,

:55:16. > :55:24.with a very happy team head. So up steps Britain's William Fox-Pitt who

:55:25. > :55:29.takes the bronze medal on Chilli Morniing. Well done, bronze

:55:30. > :55:34.medallist in the individual qualification for the World

:55:35. > :55:40.Championships. Net start with Tina Cook because when you came into this

:55:41. > :55:46.arena my word, what a noise? It was unbelievable, especially that Zara

:55:47. > :55:52.Phillips did a clear round, did you think, that jewel horse overreacted?

:55:53. > :55:58.He showed a bit of inexperience it is like an Olympic Games, but he

:55:59. > :56:03.will jump well. You let out the most enormous roar after yours? I was so

:56:04. > :56:10.proud of him and I was happy to get him in the bag, I was happy to be

:56:11. > :56:18.back really. To be honest that made certain that you would hang onto the

:56:19. > :56:22.silver medal? Well I was the first, hopefully I got a good round in the

:56:23. > :56:29.bag and the good guys would be able to do the same thing, and we could

:56:30. > :56:34.keep that silver anyway. You have had a really torrid 24 hours, when

:56:35. > :56:41.you stepped on the podium you got the biggest round of applause and

:56:42. > :56:46.huge cheers? You could not have asked four more runs a fitting

:56:47. > :56:52.tribute to that wonderful horse I'm delighted for the team. For you and

:56:53. > :56:55.individual bronze medal as well nearly a gold but for that pesky

:56:56. > :57:07.Pole? He could have a nearly a gold but for that pesky

:57:08. > :57:13.very excited and he is still a nearly a gold but for that pesky

:57:14. > :57:16.our horses nearly a gold but for that pesky

:57:17. > :57:26.tha dop od `is nearly a gold but for that pesky

:57:27. > :57:37.take over, qou an` Europdan chalpaons but it vill
