:08:15. > :08:20.to do things like speeding up the process by which our legislation
:08:20. > :08:28.gets the Royal Assent. We are not fast enough in terms of
:08:28. > :08:36.incorporating laws. Is this a PR exercise? It is about communicating,
:08:36. > :08:40.talking to MPs and building alliances. We also must be aware
:08:40. > :08:46.that our relationship with the UK is really important in many
:08:47. > :08:51.different ways. The last Government ended the reciprocal health
:08:51. > :08:57.agreement which was not fair. We need a close relationship with the
:08:57. > :09:02.Government. Cuts at Whitehall mean they will have to do more about
:09:02. > :09:08.securing access for our students for example. All sorts of things
:09:08. > :09:13.are matters for residents and it is important we represent their
:09:13. > :09:18.interests in the UK. The Deputy Chief Minister now has the
:09:18. > :09:24.Conservative Party conference in Manchester to look forward to. In
:09:24. > :09:31.sport, Guernsey's cricketers remain unbeaten in the tournament in
