:06:28. > :06:32.elderly drivers are safe. They go too slowly for most people's
:06:32. > :06:36.likings. I don't think you can just look at elderly drivers in
:06:36. > :06:41.isolation. There is a lot of bad driving on this island. The police
:06:41. > :06:45.may plan to meet with environment to discuss the issue but with the
:06:45. > :06:49.Department already saying it has no plans to change the rules, it will
:06:49. > :06:55.be up to officers to convince them they would be best to stop

:07:49. > :07:55.They hope to make up some of that loss by using special permit places
:07:55. > :08:01.around the port. Winter has finally arrived in our
:08:02. > :08:07.islands. What better way to warm-up than with a nice bowl of soup.
:08:07. > :08:11.Dozens of islanders have been doing that today and the annual charity
:08:12. > :08:18.soup sales have been getting underway. Rustling up a lunch takes
:08:18. > :08:22.time, inspiration and hard work. Super preparations started early
:08:22. > :08:31.here at Jersey College for Girls. Pupils were busy cooking a variety
:08:31. > :08:37.of winter warmers yesterday. There is lamb stock, carrot, celery,

:09:11. > :09:16.girls were not the only ones selling soup. There were dozens of
:09:16. > :09:23.stalls and punters and it was all for charity. People don't realise
:09:23. > :09:27.how much is involved. Without all those people, it wouldn't happen.
:09:27. > :09:32.Everything is donated or sponsored so every penny that goes in the job

:10:02. > :10:08.It is not going to be as cold as last night but we will see some

:10:12. > :10:17.brighter skies and more chance to see some sunshine. We have a couple
:10:17. > :10:22.of weather systems coming in from the north-west. The cold front will
:10:22. > :10:26.move in tomorrow morning. After lunch tomorrow, we should see some
:10:27. > :10:31.sunny spells. There is more wet weather coming in as we move
:10:31. > :10:38.towards the end of the day tomorrow and overnight into Thursday, we
:10:38. > :10:44.become windy and milder. This evening and overnight tonight, we
:10:44. > :10:48.have these weather systems keeping it cloudy and damp at times. It is
:10:48. > :10:53.quite breezy and milder than it has been. Tomorrow, we have those
:10:53. > :10:59.showers in the morning but they will fade away in the afternoon. It
:10:59. > :11:07.should brighten up and we will see some warm spells. There is still a
