:00:00. > :00:09.-- treasured past. There is a first look at

:00:10. > :00:26.In the UK figures show the number of people with eating disorders has

:00:27. > :00:29.gone up by 15% since 2000 ` a trend which is likely to be mirrored here.

:00:30. > :00:32.Eating disorders have the hhghest mortality rate of any mental

:00:33. > :00:37.illness, and 20% of the esthmated 1.6 million who suffer in the UK may

:00:38. > :00:48.die prematurely. Penny Elderfield reports.

:00:49. > :00:58.How is it going? What are you doing? A sponsored skydive.

:00:59. > :01:04.A challenge in itself. For Jazz this was a big part of her own challenge

:01:05. > :01:08.to overcome an eating disorder. I wasn't thinking, it happened so fast

:01:09. > :01:18.and suddenly we were falling 12 mph. I guess I had been so long

:01:19. > :01:21.trying to raise awareness so this was a big thing for me.

:01:22. > :01:24.Raising awareness and money, for a charity that's helped her over the

:01:25. > :01:30.last few years. Diagnosed whth anorexia several years ago, she

:01:31. > :01:36.ended up in hospital. I had people telling me I had a month to live and

:01:37. > :01:42.I was being force fed through a Jew. At the time, I didn't think I was

:01:43. > :01:52.ill. Retrospectively I was Dric Gill `` through HU. I was near ddath

:01:53. > :01:57.anorexia has a high death r`te. It is serious and not be seen `s a

:01:58. > :02:01.phase or a diet gone wrong. Now I can look back and so thankftlly I

:02:02. > :02:07.didn't suffer as long as sole people do and want to use my experhence to

:02:08. > :02:09.help others which is why I want to study psychology.

:02:10. > :02:21.Like other adults with eating disorders ` Jazz also comes here for

:02:22. > :02:28.ongoing support. I would like to hear from people to come along and

:02:29. > :02:33.chat and tell me what they think about the treatment they received,

:02:34. > :02:39.good and bad so that we can shape the services. For Jazz, thotgh, the

:02:40. > :02:44.focus now is getting to university ` so it's on with the hard work. That

:02:45. > :02:48.is now she's back on firm ground. A mother and her pregnant d`ughter

:02:49. > :02:50.from the UK have been sentenced to four years in prison after being

:02:51. > :02:54.caught smuggling drugs into Guernsey. The pair were sentenced at

:02:55. > :02:58.the Royal Court yesterday. Like Wilkins reports.

:02:59. > :03:00.It was under the guise of a family camping trip that 50`year`old

:03:01. > :03:07.Annette Cronshey and her 29`year`old pregnant daughter Danielle Lucas

:03:11. > :03:13.were stopped disembarking the Weymouth ferry at the end of August.

:03:14. > :03:18.Customs Officers became suspicious and arrested them. The women were

:03:19. > :03:22.found to be internally concdaling a package of drugs each. They mostly

:03:23. > :03:28.contained flephedrone ` a Class B drug similar to mephedrone. Its

:03:29. > :03:32.street value was almost ?20k. The Guernsey Border Agency says the fact

:03:33. > :03:35.that one of the women was hdavily pregnant and accompanied by a minor

:03:36. > :03:45.meant it was a very difficult case to deal with. We had a pregnant

:03:46. > :03:48.female to deal with who was internally concealing drugs which is

:03:49. > :03:51.a difficult and emotive subject for the officers involved.

:03:52. > :03:55.In the Royal Court, Judge Rtssell Finch sentenced them both to four

:03:56. > :03:58.years in prison to run from the date of their arrest.

:05:44. > :05:46.sisters pram. It was quite scary. I'm glad we didn't get caught.
