:01:18. > :01:20.the hotels full, but a lot has changed over the decades. Fhgures
:01:21. > :01:27.show in 1992 there were 24,770 bed spaces in Jersey. Fast forw`rd to
:01:28. > :01:34.2013 and that number has more than halved ` to 11,779 spaces. Now even
:01:35. > :01:38.more have been lost. Eulah Country Hotel closed hn
:01:39. > :01:41.January due to a lack of deland The owners also had an applhcation
:01:42. > :01:46.for a wedding centre refused by Planning, so they say the btsiness
:01:47. > :01:49.was no longer viable. And now this hotel on St Cldments
:01:50. > :01:52.Coast Road could follow. Thd company who own Samares Coast Hotel says
:01:53. > :01:55.significant reduction in visitors meant it couldn't justify more
:01:56. > :01:59.investment there and now wants to replace the building with homes and
:02:00. > :02:08.flats. So what needs to change to `ttract
:02:09. > :02:17.tourists? With the verifiers most people just
:02:18. > :02:21.cannot afford it. It's not worth it because you can go
:02:22. > :02:26.somewhere far more exotic for half the price.
:02:27. > :02:28.You have got to put things here for people to come and see.

:02:32. > :02:35.themselves Luxury Jerse. Thdy felt they had to take it upon thdmselves

:03:27. > :03:30.concerned. We have recently produced a preliminary reports, and we are
:03:31. > :03:37.working closely with a business plan to look at ways in which we can
:03:38. > :03:41.develop our marketing message. One thing that is always brought up
:03:42. > :03:46.is how expensive it is to fly to Jersey. Why can't we bring the
:03:47. > :03:56.verifiers down? We did identify the fact th`t we are
:03:57. > :03:59.not that expensive to get to. In comparison to many other
:04:00. > :04:03.destinations, we are not th`t expensive.

:04:46. > :04:50.body of Colin Chevalier was found at his home address at 10pm on the
:04:51. > :04:55.evening of the 5th of April. He was pronounced dead by paramedics just
:04:56. > :04:59.over two hours later. Finger print analysis took place at the scene,
:05:00. > :05:02.but it wasn't until 10pm on Sunday sixth April, nearly 24 hours later

:19:20. > :19:22.Although they do is a the d`y centre, it would be once evdry three
:19:23. > :19:26.weeks. She goes to music sessions twice a week now. You can sde the
:19:27. > :19:32.difference in her. She's a lot happier than before. It is not just
:19:33. > :19:36.Katie who has benefited. Jackie is much happier now. She has coped well
:19:37. > :19:39.with the challenge of becomhng an employer and taking on five staff.
:19:40. > :19:45.But critics question if all families will manage as well. There hs a very
:19:46. > :19:49.real risk that without representation or support, whether
:19:50. > :19:52.it's a solicitor or an advocate or otherwise, that all their hdalth
:19:53. > :19:58.care needs will not be identified and their nursing needs. And that
:19:59. > :20:04.any care plan that is drawn up will be inadequate to meet those needs.
