:01:53. > :01:55.An inquest into the deaths of a Guernsey couple in Thailand last
:01:56. > :01:58.year has recorded a verdict of accidental death. Peter Root and
:01:59. > :02:00.Mary Thomson were killed during a round`the`world cycling trip. The

:02:30. > :02:32.month. A woman from Guernsey is stdpping up
:02:33. > :02:35.to the international stage this weekend when she captains an England
:02:36. > :02:39.squad at a World Championshhps in South Africa. Naomi Taylor has been
:02:40. > :02:40.selected to lead the English ladies Indoor Netball side for the first
:02:41. > :02:49.time. Emma Chambers reports. This is no ordinary game of netball.
:02:50. > :02:53.It is indoor netball. Players are surrounded by nets so the b`ll never
:02:54. > :02:59.goes out. Making it fast, energetic, and growing in popularity,
:03:00. > :03:02.especially in Guernsey. And now for the first time ever, a Guernsey girl
:03:03. > :03:10.has been selected to captain the England ladies team who are
:03:11. > :03:15.competing in South Africa this week. Absolutely honoured to be n`med as
:03:16. > :03:22.captain. We have great playdrs. To be named as captain is phenomenal. I
:03:23. > :03:26.hope we can do the job out here now. It is brilliant to have her named as
:03:27. > :03:30.captain. We also have a plaxer in the under 21. We are fortun`te to
:03:31. > :03:34.have a great sanctuary to bring these girls on here. Naomi `nd her
:03:35. > :03:37.team are training hard to t`ke on New Zealand, Australia and South

:03:46. > :03:48.those who played with her in the 2012 tournament says this is a
:03:49. > :03:54.fantastic achievement. As spuad selection is getting tougher. The
:03:55. > :04:00.England selectors must a lot more women to come down. The chance was
:04:01. > :04:06.decreased significantly compared to when we were selecting in 2012. So
:04:07. > :04:08.to be picked and then be picked as the captain is a massive
:04:09. > :04:16.achievement. She will take ht on her shoulders very well. And thdy have a
:04:17. > :04:19.little message for Naomi. Two seal pups that were washed up
:04:20. > :04:21.starving on Guernsey's shords during the winter storms have been released
:04:22. > :04:31.back into the wild. Trinity and Eden have been through
:04:32. > :04:40.months of rehabilitation before today as Mike Wilkins reports.
:04:41. > :04:45.An uncertain end to the week for this little seal. This afternoon
:04:46. > :04:51.Trinity and Eden were careftlly loaded onto a boat to carry them on
:04:52. > :04:57.their journey to freedom. Dtring the crossing from Guernsey they both
:04:58. > :04:59.appeared remarkably calm. As we approached Jethou another sdal was
:05:00. > :05:10.spotted, Dave, the resident seal, checking out what all the ftss was
:05:11. > :05:16.about. Once ashore and gently in place, the cages were opened. A
:05:17. > :05:27.little unsure at first, the two soon made their dash for freedom. For
:05:28. > :05:36.their carers, it was thrillhng to see the seals back where thdy
:05:37. > :05:41.belong. It is never easy whdn you release any wild animal back to see
:05:42. > :05:44.or whatever they belong. Thdre were a few nervous point when thdy were a
:05:45. > :05:55.bit unsure. But once they wdre in the water, they are having ` great
:05:56. > :05:58.time. They were just two wedks old when they were taken in the top six
:05:59. > :06:01.months on, they are out there fending for themselves. Trinity and
:06:02. > :06:04.Eden will be in good companx because two former rescue seals Hanois and
:06:05. > :06:11.Jethou Bumblebee were also spotted in the same waters.
:06:12. > :06:14.Double BRIT award winning singer`songwriter Ben Howard has
:06:15. > :06:18.been announced as the Sundax night headliner for Jersey Live. He had a
:06:19. > :06:21.top ten hit with single Onlx Love. And joins Ellie Goulding who has
:06:22. > :06:27.already been confirmed as the Saturday Night headliner. That is it
:06:28. > :06:41.for now. Time for the weathdr prospects.
:06:42. > :06:50.There will be some sunshine coming through at times. It will bd
:06:51. > :06:54.difficult to pin down. We h`ve showers in the vicinity. Thdy could
:06:55. > :07:02.be sharp at times through the night. Some rumbles of thunder at
:07:03. > :07:08.times expected. We start tolorrow morning potentially with sole heavy
:07:09. > :07:13.thundery rain in place. It could be quite intense. Things will hmprove.
:07:14. > :07:21.Can the afternoon, we should see some sunshine coming through. In the
:07:22. > :07:27.coming days, a mixture of stnshine and showers. The full UK forecast
:07:28. > :08:37.follows. through the early hours. So for
:08:38. > :08:41.Cornwall, tomorrow should start largely dry and bright, a bht of
:08:42. > :08:44.sunshine perhaps coming through But the further east you are, the more
:08:45. > :08:47.likely you are to see these heavy, thundery downpours affecting you.
:08:48. > :08:50.Now, they could be quite intense, as I mentioned, we could see some
:08:51. > :08:55.disruption. Increasingly, though, through the day, we will sed more of
:08:56. > :08:58.a showery picture and all of us at risk of some heavy, thunderx showers
:08:59. > :09:01.for the afternoon. Thereaftdr, for Sunday, there are some further
:09:02. > :09:05.showers around, but I think overall it should be a bit of a dridr and
:09:06. > :09:08.brighter day, and fewer showers I think for most of us generally
:09:09. > :09:10.especially the further east you are. And thereafter through the bank
:09:11. > :09:16.holiday weekend things are improving. Monday it is mostly dry
:09:17. > :09:19.and bright with some sunshine. Coming up shortly, we've got the
:09:20. > :09:21.national forecast. That's all from us. I'll leave you with tomorrow's
:09:22. > :09:30.outlook. you o6er tg Petdr Gibson and
:09:31. > :09:43.Natao.al fgrecast The bank holiday weekend weather is
:09:44. > :09:48.not looking user-friendly although most places should get one decent
:09:49. > :09:58.day out of the three and some places will get two. We have low pressure,
:09:59. > :10:02.and there will be showers around over the next couple of days
:10:03. > :10:09.particularly. Sunshine breaking through now and again. It will pick
:10:10. > :10:17.up temperatures. Tonight we have rain. We have had thunderstorms in
:10:18. > :10:23.northern England. They are moving into Northern Ireland. A lot of dry
:10:24. > :10:24.weather will stop misty in
