:01:38. > :01:43.that it is harmful to smoke at a young age. We know that children are
:01:44. > :01:47.under pressure to take up sloking. It is damaging to their help. The
:01:48. > :01:50.police need to intervene in their interest.
:01:51. > :01:52.And peer pressure teenagers at this youth club are well aware
:01:53. > :01:55.of, although none of them actually smoke themselves.
:01:56. > :02:01.I know a couple of people who spoke but I do not like it. I don't know
:02:02. > :02:04.why anyone would smoke conshdering the health risks.
:02:05. > :02:06.Working with teenagers on a daily basis here,
:02:07. > :02:13.But he is not convinced that a hefty fine is the best wax
:02:14. > :02:23.That is very harsh, to be honest. They are made aware in school of the
:02:24. > :02:29.damage they are doing to thdir bodies. They are teenagers. You will
:02:30. > :02:33.never be able to stop 100% of young people.
:02:34. > :02:35.But for health officials, the reasons for targeting younger
:02:36. > :02:45.It is the time that the majority of people begin to smoke. It is
:02:46. > :02:49.important that we look at how to encourage and peatlands children
:02:50. > :02:50.from starting or continuing to smoke.
