:00:20. > :00:24.And, while some faith groups have welcomed the move, others h`ve

:00:25. > :00:35.One of England?s first same sex marriages.

:00:36. > :00:38.In March this year, as the clock struck midnight,

:00:39. > :00:42.couples across England and Wales were able to legally marry.

:00:43. > :00:48.In Jersey, gay couples can dnter a civil partnership.

:00:49. > :00:50.But now there are calls to allow them to marry.

:00:51. > :00:54.One church group, who claim to represent a qu`rter of

:00:55. > :00:58.They say God made marriage between a man and a woman,

:00:59. > :01:05.We feel it is very important that we always aim for the ideals

:01:06. > :01:12.and don't just water them down to suit our preferences.

:01:13. > :01:14.Otherwise, we are really saxing "Well, God,

:01:15. > :01:21.The Quakers faith group, who worship in silence,

:01:22. > :01:24.have been vocal in their support for same sex marriage for ddcades.

:01:25. > :01:27.We've always thought that when a couple get together,

:01:28. > :01:31.they get together and marry before God, and we are mere witnesses.

:01:32. > :01:35.It's God that does the marrxing and nobody else with the cotple

:01:36. > :01:41.So it shouldn't matter what kind of relationship the marriagd is

:01:42. > :01:44.No, so as long as it's a loving committed relationship, no there

:01:45. > :01:51.But many church goers are concerned about a law that allows gay couples

:01:52. > :02:02.Faith groups wouldn't be forced to allow same sex marriage

:02:03. > :02:23.It is important that divershty of views are respected.

:02:24. > :02:26.Equally, they have got to rdspect the views of people who want to get

:02:27. > :02:29.married, and it would be just as wrong for them to impose

:02:30. > :02:33.their views on gay and lesbhan couples as it would be for them to

:02:34. > :02:38.Jersey States are discussing care in the island at tomorrow's meeting

:02:39. > :02:40.after the Health Minister told the assembly the current care home

:02:41. > :02:44.system is inadequate, fragmdnted and no longer fit for purpose.

:02:45. > :02:47.Deputy Anne Pryke is asking her fellow politicians to agree a series

:02:48. > :02:50.of changes to update the regulations which control establishments,

:02:51. > :02:53.as well as establishing a health and social care colmission

:02:54. > :02:59.She's concerned the current rules governing the island's care system

:03:00. > :03:21.There's now another choice of pitches for competitive football

:03:22. > :03:26.The surface of the KG`Five 3G pitch has been approved by both FHFA

:03:27. > :03:30.It'll give clubs a viable option over the winter months,
