:00:43. > :00:45.And now the States wants to find out who's really at fault.

:00:46. > :00:47.It's been using special software to monitor the broadband speeds at

:00:48. > :01:01.So we as a government see problems are at home with the router,

:01:02. > :01:04.or in that little bit of copper between home and the box,

:02:25. > :02:28.Transport and Technical Services can regularly push the sea lettuce

:02:29. > :02:39.further down the beach, but it always comes back with the tide

:02:40. > :02:46.The environmental department is doing a lot of work to understand

:02:47. > :02:49.why it is here some years and not others, and why it is not in other

:02:50. > :02:53.bays here. And also, to control the amount of sea ldtters we

:02:54. > :02:56.have by nutrients which it relies on to

:02:57. > :02:57.grow. Jersey's Royal Court was in St

:02:58. > :02:59.Martin today for the Visite Royale. As part of a tradition that dates

:03:00. > :03:02.back to the sixteenth century, the court tours the parish `nd gives

:03:03. > :03:04.its verdict on any problems. Today that meant inspecting

:03:07. > :03:19.as defender for the landowndrs, This is a nice way of doing it

:03:20. > :03:24.because you could have an instant decision, whereas sometimes you may

:03:25. > :03:28.have to wait many years for a royal court judgement. The owners of the

:03:29. > :03:33.property today have an advocate representing them. Maybe later on

:03:34. > :03:34.today they will represent a tree or a hedge, speaking in defencd, as has

:03:35. > :03:37.happened in the past. In sport, local football hero Matt

:03:47. > :03:52.of work commitments. Now, onto

:03:53. > :03:54.the mystery disappearance of one A carved stone which has bedn in the

:03:55. > :04:00.Bailiff's Cross area for centuries vanished during the redevelopment

:04:01. > :04:02.of the old Hangman's pub thdre. I may be no Poirot, but when

:04:03. > :04:10.called in to investigate I will And here at Bailiff's Cross it's

:04:11. > :04:13.the disappearance of the cross that gives the area

:04:14. > :04:22.its name that's causing a stir. People just noticed that

:04:23. > :04:25.it had disappeared. I have fielded similar questions

:04:26. > :04:29.about it and I have got a standard response now, whhch is

:04:30. > :04:32.that we have turned it into gravel, A stone, which used to be jtst

:04:33. > :04:40.here before the old Hangman's The stone was slightly set back

:04:41. > :04:48.from the wall, so it was not You would have seen the verx face

:04:49. > :04:54.of the stone. The Bailiff of Guernsey acctsed

:04:55. > :05:02.his neighbour of stealing from him. This was not true

:05:03. > :05:06.and he was sentenced to death. This is the location that it is

:05:07. > :05:09.believed he stopped to recehve the holy sacrament before going

:05:10. > :05:15.on to the gallows. The next chapter in this

:05:16. > :05:19.story though brings us here. But I was taking it

:05:20. > :05:25.away to repair it. Some stainless steel

:05:26. > :05:39.put across, and it is here `nd And it won't be long

:05:40. > :05:47.before that happens. As you can see, there is a stainless

:06:25. > :06:28.will be a nice day, fine and dry with plenty of sunshine and quite

:06:29. > :06:33.warm, reaching 23. There is some cloud trickling to the south of us

:06:34. > :06:39.overnight, which could generate some rain close to Jersey. That should

:06:40. > :06:43.move away overnight tonight with temperatures not fully much below 16

:06:44. > :06:49.degrees. Tomorrow, a cloudy start of the day, but the sunshine whll

:06:50. > :06:57.through and the afternoon looks very pleasant. We are a bit concdrned

:06:58. > :07:01.that we could see two bouts of heavy rain. Friday will be the first spell

:07:02. > :07:06.of wet weather. The rain cotld be heavy and thundery fine and dry but

:07:07. > :07:09.breezy on Saturday, and then the remnants of an old hurricand that is

:07:10. > :07:14.moving across the Atlantic next three days, a rising across

:07:15. > :07:20.northern France on Sunday. less of a worry now, but thd

:07:21. > :07:23.strength of the wind is likdly to give some gusts,

:07:24. > :07:29.problem is the intensity of the rain. Another wet day on Sunday In
