:00:19. > :00:20.Three different police chiefs have given journalists three different

:00:21. > :00:30.It's been ten days since David and Hannah were found on this bdach

:00:33. > :00:35.making an arrest, and were searching in Bangkok for a man who fldd Koh

:00:36. > :00:43.But this afternoon there have been three conflicting reports.

:00:44. > :00:45.One senior police officer s`id they weren't looking

:00:46. > :00:51.Another claimed they had detained the son of a district chief

:00:52. > :00:55.in Bangkok, and were waiting for the results of his DNA test

:00:56. > :00:57.But a third said that man h`d a solid alibi,

:00:58. > :01:03.When they say they'll make an arrest soon,

:01:04. > :01:09.It seems to rest on getting the results of the DNA test.

:01:10. > :01:12.There is one very powerful family who own a bar, at which Davhd and

:01:13. > :01:15.Hannah were seen in the hours before they were killed, and they `re

:01:16. > :01:19.reported to have got involvdd in an argument there.

:01:23. > :01:25.Next week David's funeral whll be held here at Trinity Church.

:01:26. > :01:27.In the time since his death, he's been described a hero

:01:28. > :01:31.as more details have emerged of what happened that night.

:01:32. > :01:34.It's thought he may have bedn trying to protect Hannah as the

:01:35. > :01:42.David's friends and family will be hoping that by the time thex lay him

:01:43. > :01:52.to rest, Thai police will bd close to bringing his killer to jtstice.

:01:53. > :01:55.Guernsey's Health department's expecting to overspend

:01:56. > :02:00.It's largely down to it strtggling to meet its tough target of finding

:02:01. > :02:03.?4.7 million of savings, as well as the cost of off`island treatment.

:02:04. > :02:05.It says it will continue to try and deliver the savings,

:02:06. > :02:21.whilst working with Treasurx to look at its budget moving forward.

:02:22. > :02:27.?4.7 million worth of saving was unrealistic for 2014. We want a

:02:28. > :02:30.realistic budget for 2015 that the Department can meet without

:02:31. > :02:31.overspending. We have done ` lot of work and we await the budget when it

:02:32. > :02:34.published in October. Young children in Jersey will

:02:35. > :02:37.be given a special nasal spray As these pictures show,

:02:38. > :02:41.the spray was successfully trialled From October, two,

:02:42. > :02:44.three and four`year`olds in Jersey will be treated at their doctor s

:02:45. > :02:46.surgery, while reception cl`ss There's been a big fall

:02:47. > :02:52.in the number of prisoners being It's dropped to 90 from just under

:02:53. > :02:56.130 two years ago, when there was serious concern about Guernsey

:02:57. > :02:58.prison reaching full capacity. Prison Governor Dave Matthews says

:02:59. > :03:04.it shows the system is workhng. I am very pleased

:03:05. > :03:07.because the extra capacity, the vacancies that we have got, make

:03:08. > :03:10.the prison a lot easier to lanage. There is plenty of work

:03:11. > :03:12.for prisoners, relationships are very good and very relaxed,

:03:13. > :03:14.and people are working throtgh Lowering the drink`drive lilit

:03:15. > :03:23.and limiting bargain booze offers are just some of the actions being

:03:24. > :03:27.looked at to reduce the high level Proposals for a new alcohol

:03:28. > :03:31.and licensing strategy have been published,

:03:32. > :03:33.as figures show people in the island drink more than those in thd UK

:03:34. > :03:36.and many other European countries. We drink on average 12.7 litres

:03:37. > :03:46.of alcohol a year. And nearly three litres mord

:03:47. > :03:50.than people in the UK. Although Jersey's alcohol ldvel has

:03:51. > :03:52.dropped over the last decadd, it's still considered harmftl

:03:53. > :03:56.by Health Officials. Alcohol related deaths in the island

:03:57. > :04:00.are twice as high as the UK. So, they've got together with other

:04:01. > :04:02.States departments to try We have more premature

:04:03. > :04:11.deaths than we would like. 14 deaths a year are

:04:12. > :04:14.attributed to alcohol abuse. That is a huge number of lives lost,

:04:15. > :04:17.and there is a huge personal impact, as well as the wider

:04:18. > :04:24.economic impact and health harm Part of the strategy is to review

:04:25. > :04:30.the drink drive limit, and consider Another is to stagger the

:04:31. > :04:36.closing times of pubs and clubs And they are also

:04:37. > :04:38.considering banning shops But the Co`op's chief executive

:04:39. > :04:45.thinks this is unfair. Our instinct is that any

:04:46. > :04:49.legislation should be designed to It seems to us

:04:50. > :04:56.on this occasion that we ard also targeting responsible drinkdrs,

:04:57. > :07:43.the vast majority of people. Good evening. Many of us had some

:07:44. > :07:46.welcome rain for the gardens overnight. But away from the

:07:47. > :07:47.north-west, rain doesn't
