:01:00. > :01:04.Seven scam victims in Jersey have been conned out
:01:05. > :01:09.The fraud involves scammers ringing up pretending to be your bank,
:01:10. > :01:11.and instructing you to transfer your money to a separate account,
:01:12. > :01:25.For Iain and Reena Mclean it all started with a phone call.
:01:26. > :01:35.With a person at the other dnd claiming their credit card had been
:01:36. > :01:45.He gave me a reference numbdr and asked if I had my credit card. And
:01:46. > :01:50.he said, we would like you to read out, there is a number at the back
:01:51. > :01:54.of your credit card, contact them as soon as possible.
:01:55. > :01:56.Iain did make that phone call but the fraudsters didn't dhsconnect
:01:57. > :01:59.the line and pretended they were from Iain and Reena's bank.
:02:00. > :02:02.They convinced them to transfer ?6,200 to what they thought was
:02:03. > :02:05.But when Iain and Reena went to their branch
:02:06. > :02:10.and spoke to the bank managdr they realised what had happened.
:02:11. > :02:17.I feel like we were being rdally stupid. That we were taken hn with
:02:18. > :02:27.this. But the fact that we thought we were onto the fraud department,
:02:28. > :02:31.that was different. Banks do not phone and order people to transfer
:02:32. > :02:34.money. It does not happen. They give apparently legitimate detail to
:02:35. > :02:41.carry off their fraud. They might talk about particular trans`ctions.
:02:42. > :02:43.They might say, destroy your card. It is important to realise that they
:02:44. > :02:48.will stop at nothing to get your money.
:02:49. > :02:50.Iain and Reena don't want sympathy but
:02:51. > :02:56.say they don't want what's happened to them to happen to any others
:02:57. > :02:59.Would a deep water berth brhnging in more cruise ships be better for
:03:00. > :03:03.There are calls for the isl`nd to take advantage of the growing
:03:04. > :03:06.popularity of cruise holidaxs by becoming more than just ` stop
:03:07. > :03:12.More than 100 cruise ships have moored off Guernsey this ye`r with
:03:13. > :03:14.many already planning a return next year.
:03:15. > :03:16.It is one of the most visited ports in northern
:03:17. > :03:21.But some feel the island should be more than a destination,
:03:22. > :03:27.An infrastructure expert who helped design Hong Kong's cruise tdrminal
:03:28. > :03:30.and is currently advising port planners at Fort Lauderdale
:03:31. > :03:38.in America says Guernsey should be a starting port for cruise ships.
:03:39. > :03:46.We could look at it becoming a turnaround port for cruising. Taking
:03:47. > :03:52.advantage of revenues coming in with people flying to the Island,
:03:53. > :03:56.joining cruises and revenues while they are here, spending on
:03:57. > :03:59.restaurants and so on. Therd would be an attraction for cruise
:04:00. > :04:02.operators with a potential of uplifting fuel at 15p per lhtre
:04:03. > :04:07.cheaper than they could get in Southampton. That needs to be
:04:08. > :04:11.thought out as a part of a single integrated package.
:04:12. > :04:14.So would people be keen to fly to Guernsey to start their cruhse?
:04:15. > :04:18.We asked potential passengers in Hull.

:18:44. > :18:50.emerging from their burrows `` we have seen birds emerging from their
:18:51. > :18:54.burrows. Youngsters sitting outside their burrows, waiting to go on
:18:55. > :18:59.their long journeys. It is lovely. The parents leave before thd
:19:00. > :19:03.youngsters are ready. They lake sure they are well fed and then the
:19:04. > :19:07.parents fly off to the southern hemisphere, leaving the checks alone
:19:08. > :19:11.for a little while. Then thdy emerge from the boroughs, stretch their
:19:12. > :19:16.wings, they do it at night `nd sit outside the boroughs. To get a fix
:19:17. > :19:21.on where they are the spent a little time just looking at the skx and the
:19:22. > :19:26.stars. That helps them positioned themselves. The amazing thing about
:19:27. > :19:31.these birds is that once thdy leave that burrow they will probably not

:22:28. > :22:31.contacted me. I was amazed `nd couldn't believe it. It was people
:22:32. > :22:35.who were doing a beach clean, so working to protect the marine
:22:36. > :22:38.environment and conservation. They benefited are programmed by
:22:39. > :22:41.returning the camera to us. It is just fantastic. Some Green
