:00:00. > :00:14.taken ill at a dance event tonight. There is also a first look

:00:15. > :00:18.Good evening. London's 48`hour tube strike has

:00:19. > :00:22.come to an end ` but only for this week. Another walk`out is planned

:00:23. > :00:27.for Tuesday, guaranteed to cause difficulties and delays for millions

:00:28. > :00:30.of commuters. But it's not too late for it to be called off if there's a

:00:31. > :00:38.breakthrough tomorrow, in scheduled talks between union leaders and Tube

:00:39. > :00:45.bosses. Here's Nick Beake. They ve weathered 48 hours of strikes.

:00:46. > :00:51.Frustrating times. But at least now it is over. For this week, that is.

:00:52. > :00:57.I think it will happen again next week. I have got a feeling. They

:00:58. > :01:03.will stick it out. They should sit and talk and work things out. If

:01:04. > :01:12.tomorrow's talks fail, there is yet to be another walk`out starting next

:01:13. > :01:17.Tuesday. This was the Mayor heading out on a visit from embankment just

:01:18. > :01:20.after rush hour. And this was Clapham Junction, in the middle of

:01:21. > :01:28.the rush hour, with commuters struggling to get in. They two of

:01:29. > :01:34.the strike brought more headaches. 72 stations were shut. There were

:01:35. > :01:38.57,000 more oyster journeys than yesterday but still there were

:01:39. > :01:46.600,000 fewer than all a normal working day. We have a lot of people

:01:47. > :01:50.in London. Oyster card data shows 40% of people who normally use the

:01:51. > :01:56.Tube have used the cheap today. I know there is disruption out there.

:01:57. > :01:59.I do apologise to people for the disruption they are experiencing. I

:02:00. > :02:09.think it is one of those things we have got to get through. Sorry. Amid

:02:10. > :02:13.his apologies, the Mayor insisted a deal could be reached that he would

:02:14. > :02:18.not say what ground could be ceded to make that happen. Let's get on

:02:19. > :02:24.with it, getting to the negotiating room and do a deal. What do you you

:02:25. > :02:28.offering? That is for the TFL negotiators to spell out. It is

:02:29. > :02:34.their job to sit down and go through the package. I'm sure it will be

:02:35. > :02:39.very reasonable. What does seem highly unlikely is TFL will withdraw

:02:40. > :02:43.its plans to close the network's ticket offices. Are the unions

:02:44. > :02:49.willing to make concessions to reach a compromise? We have a positive

:02:50. > :02:52.note to try and reach an agreement. It is always about getting a

:02:53. > :02:56.compromise which is satisfactory to the majority of our members. If we

:02:57. > :03:02.do not get that we will report back to our executive committee and the

:03:03. > :03:05.strike will commence next Tuesday. After a bleak Wednesday and

:03:06. > :03:11.frustrating Thursday, dark clouds loom over the coming week. This

:03:12. > :03:17.strike may have ended 90 minutes ago but this is one of 90 stations which

:03:18. > :03:21.remain closed this evening. TFL is insisting that come tomorrow morning

:03:22. > :03:31.a full service will be with restored `` will be restored. After a bitter

:03:32. > :03:34.war of words there are hopes common ground can be found behind closed

:03:35. > :03:41.doors. On Monday the union bosses will meet. We will find out if next

:03:42. > :03:45.week's plans will be abandoned or carried through. Thank you.

:03:46. > :03:48.A former head teacher at Caldicott Boys' Preparatory School in

:03:49. > :03:51.Buckinghamshire has been jailed for eight years for abusing boys. Roland

:03:52. > :03:56.Wright had assaulted children aged as young as eight. It's the same

:03:57. > :04:03.prep school attended by Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg. Ben Ando

:04:04. > :04:11.reports. Frail and using two walking sticks,

:04:12. > :04:19.Peter Wright was found guilty of abusing boys on a dozen occasions

:04:20. > :04:21.between 1959 and 1970. The abuse took place here at Caldicott

:04:22. > :04:25.Preparatory School in Buckinghamshire, which takes boys

:04:26. > :04:28.aged between six and 13. Peter Wright had room in the school near

:04:29. > :04:34.the dormant trees, which the judge said he seemed to regard as his own

:04:35. > :04:39.private fiefdom. He was also said to have abused boys on fishing trips to

:04:40. > :04:44.Scotland. One victim of abuse at Caldicot told the BBC it had been a

:04:45. > :04:50.long wait for justice but it was worth it. Only ever do a proportion

:04:51. > :04:56.of abuse to people come forward Therefore, we have a small

:04:57. > :05:00.percentage of people we suspect he has abused. Pleasingly, he has been

:05:01. > :05:06.found guilty of that abuse and we have today's sentence. That is a

:05:07. > :05:10.step in the right direction. The officer who led the investigation

:05:11. > :05:14.paid tribute to the victims who came forward. He has at last been held to

:05:15. > :05:18.account for his actions and I hope he has had time to reflect on the

:05:19. > :05:22.lasting effect he has had on the many victims of his abuse. I hope

:05:23. > :05:28.the victims who have suffered at his hands feel they have got some degree

:05:29. > :05:32.of justice. One former pupil was Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg who

:05:33. > :05:38.was head boy in the 1980s. He said he was shocked and appalled by the

:05:39. > :05:42.case. The judge said while Wright had been too many pupils and

:05:43. > :05:45.inspirational French teacher or a brilliant games master, the impact

:05:46. > :05:51.of what he did on those he abused had, in some cases, lasted

:05:52. > :05:55.throughout their lives. Roland Peter Wright was sentenced for eight

:05:56. > :05:59.years. He will serve at least four in prison where he will require

:06:00. > :06:06.specialist care due to his age and will be eligible for release on

:06:07. > :06:10.licence in 2018. Now the question, is there more rain

:06:11. > :06:16.to come? Hopefully, Sara has got the answer.

:06:17. > :06:23.The answer is, of course. We have a number of weather warnings. The most

:06:24. > :06:29.significant is this amber weather warning to the west of London. There

:06:30. > :06:32.are more spells of rain due in the next 48 hours. There will be a dryer

:06:33. > :06:40.interviewed throughout daylight hours tomorrow. `` interlude. There

:06:41. > :06:47.will be some really nice spells of sunshine coming through. Really

:06:48. > :06:51.quite breezy. It will feel a touch like spring. It will not last

:06:52. > :06:56.because there is more wet weather heading towards us. Another belt of

:06:57. > :07:01.very heavy rain as we move into the start of things on Saturday morning.

:07:02. > :07:09.On Saturday, we have some early showers. A dryer interlude for a

:07:10. > :07:11.time. Then some more showers which will be heavy and very windy as

:07:12. > :07:14.well. Don't forget, even though the

:07:15. > :07:16.48`hour tube strike has ended tonight, there could still be

:07:17. > :07:20.disruption tomorrow morning, with trains possibly in the wrong places.

:07:21. > :07:24.You can get all the latest travel information on our website, our

:07:25. > :07:37.radio station, or on here on TV from 6.30am tomorrow morning. Goodnight.

:07:38. > :07:41.Hello. I think the impact of this wet weather could be felt more

:07:42. > :07:43.widely
