:00:13. > :00:17.Good evening. The Government is being urged to do

:00:18. > :00:21.more to prevent teenagers killing themselves after viewing online

:00:22. > :00:24.self`harm sites. A coroner's report into the death of 15`year`old

:00:25. > :00:26.Tallulah Wilson from West Hampstead, who took her own life, says more

:00:27. > :00:29.vulnerable youngsters could die unless there's a better

:00:30. > :00:41.understanding of the way they use the internet.

:00:42. > :00:45.Katharine Carpenter has the story. It takes just seconds to enter an

:00:46. > :00:49.online world of people who self harm. Much of the content is far too

:00:50. > :00:56.graphic for us to show, but it was this world which Tallulah Wilson was

:00:57. > :01:00.drawn into. Billy Gatra School and suffering from depression, she

:01:01. > :01:04.sought friendship on the internet and posted self harm images on the

:01:05. > :01:12.blogging site, tumbler. Her mother described it as toxic. Shortly

:01:13. > :01:18.after, she shot down `` shot down the teenager's account, and then the

:01:19. > :01:24.15`year`old took her life. This man says there are many reasons people

:01:25. > :01:27.turn to the internet. If I see that someone is feeling hopeless and they

:01:28. > :01:32.had self harmed as a way to cope with that, that might have

:01:33. > :01:36.legitimised me in self`harming. At the end of the inquest into Tyler's

:01:37. > :01:46.death, the coroner said she feared there would be others deaths linked

:01:47. > :01:55.to the use of self harm site. A week later, a teenager took a drugs

:01:56. > :02:00.overdose. She too had depression and blogged on similar sites. The

:02:01. > :02:00.coroner has written a report, demanding the department takes

:02:01. > :02:15.action. It says... She calls for new research, improved

:02:16. > :02:20.clinical practice, and training The government has until the end of

:02:21. > :02:24.March to respond and detail what action it plans to take. Both the

:02:25. > :02:29.Health Secretary under Secretary of State for culture, media and sport

:02:30. > :02:33.declined the report for interview. The government said it takes the

:02:34. > :02:42.issue of child internet safety very seriously. What protection does

:02:43. > :02:47.tumblr put in place? It puts the onus on bloggers, which says they

:02:48. > :02:51.should not glorify self harm. It said posts which crossed the line

:02:52. > :02:57.should be removed. During our research, we found 200 disturbing

:02:58. > :03:04.posts on tumblr, as well as other sites. I think the images do clearly

:03:05. > :03:05.crossed the line into the glorification of self harm.

:03:06. > :03:09.sites. I think the images do clearly crossed the line into the If you are

:03:10. > :03:13.a self`harming, you would feel excitement, watching the images You

:03:14. > :03:17.would feel posting your own images would make you popular on the site.

:03:18. > :03:23.It is likely to be very permission giving and validating. Having taken

:03:24. > :03:26.time to look at the messages, I was shocked. Tumblr said does a

:03:27. > :03:35.statement saying... Seven recovery centres have been set

:03:36. > :03:48.up across Surrey `` users are encouraged to report

:03:49. > :03:51.those blogs. It also directs users to counselling

:03:52. > :03:56.and support services. Critics say at present, the law deters websites are

:03:57. > :04:00.monitoring content. Lastly, social networking sites and charities did

:04:01. > :04:03.meet ministers to discuss internet safety. The issue, all the more

:04:04. > :04:08.pressing since the coroner's warning.

:04:09. > :04:13.Seven recovery centres have been set up across Surrey to help those

:04:14. > :04:15.affected by the floods as water levels gradually fall. Some

:04:16. > :04:23.residents there and in Berkshire have been able to return home. Some

:04:24. > :04:27.businesses are turning to reopen. `` preparing to reopen. But for many,

:04:28. > :04:32.it's likely to be months before life returns to normal.

:04:33. > :04:35.The sign that winter is coming to an end. Today, life and that should

:04:36. > :04:42.looks like it is returning to normal. This was the village green a

:04:43. > :04:46.week ago, completely under water. This restaurant has been close to

:04:47. > :04:50.two weeks. Now it is all hands to the deck for the reopening on

:04:51. > :04:54.Friday. We have had guys here from eight o'clock in the morning until

:04:55. > :04:59.ten o'clock in the evening, and there is so much to do. There are

:05:00. > :05:04.still signs that this is not quite over. I normally come here a lot. As

:05:05. > :05:10.it is half term I want to play in the playground as it is normal and I

:05:11. > :05:17.can't because it is contaminated. The volunteers had been out in force

:05:18. > :05:21.since the floods began. Yesterday we were at flood risk. That was taken

:05:22. > :05:26.off. Now it is a sense of relaxing, perhaps there is nothing to do, but

:05:27. > :05:30.it is not true. We have spent the whole day pushing out information

:05:31. > :05:36.leaflets to residents about cleaning facilities available. In Chertsey,

:05:37. > :05:44.the clean`up is a long way off. The water keeps on coming. This is

:05:45. > :05:49.never`ending. It has been going on for the last six or seven weeks You

:05:50. > :05:58.have got the diesel costs of the pomp. These families are still

:05:59. > :06:02.living on caravans `` in caravans on the roadside. I first came to this

:06:03. > :06:06.area at the beginning of January and today it does not look different.

:06:07. > :06:12.This roadster looks like a river and it is still flowing like one, too.

:06:13. > :06:17.For many people living in Chertsey, it will be a long time before life

:06:18. > :06:20.returns to normal. They will be looking to the skies, hoping they

:06:21. > :06:26.have seen the end of the bad weather.

:06:27. > :06:29.More on the flood situation on our website.

:06:30. > :06:35.That's it from me. So I'll wish you a very goodnight. Now it's over to

:06:36. > :06:38.Wendy, who's got the forecast for you.

:06:39. > :06:44.Good evening. If you have been worrying about Thursday's weather,

:06:45. > :06:51.yes, it will be wet and windy. But it could be an awful lot worse.

:06:52. > :06:55.Overnight, a warm front edging in introducing cloud. There is patchy

:06:56. > :07:01.light rain in the early hours of the morning. The wind will pick up. It

:07:02. > :07:05.will be a mild night. A mild and cloudy start to the day tomorrow.

:07:06. > :07:10.There will be heavier rain crossing through towards the end of this

:07:11. > :07:14.morning's rush`hour. That moves away quickly. Breezy into the afternoon

:07:15. > :07:18.and we may see one or two showers. They will not be for everyone. Many

:07:19. > :07:21.of us will have decent sunshine throughout the afternoon, which will

:07:22. > :07:27.feel quite present with temperatures of around 12 degrees. `` feel quite

:07:28. > :07:29.pleasant. There could be some showers if you are on the Quay.

:07:30. > :07:34.Friday, a fine showers if you are on the Quay.

:07:35. > :07:40.Friday, a fine day. For the weekend, here is the BBC National weather.

:07:41. > :07:47.We have got rain and wind in the forecast, but the good news is that

:07:48. > :07:53.it is not severe. Over the next 24 hours, some of us will get rain and

:07:54. > :07:58.the winds will be strengthening Not stormy at this stage. This is the

:07:59. > :08:01.satellite picture, you can see the low pressure in the North Atlantic

:08:02. > :08:06.shunting weather fronts in our direction. It has been raining

:08:07. > :08:11.heavily in parts of western Scotland. Tonight, the rain will be

:08:12. > :08:17.splashing its way across the UK The wind will be freshening as well

:08:18. > :08:20.particularly across western areas. Very breezy in land. Most of the

:08:21. > :08:22.rainfall will be across
