:00:00. > :00:09.this afternoon. Now it's tile for the news where you are.

:00:10. > :00:14.? Good afternoon.

:00:15. > :00:18.Four people arrested in connection with the murders of two men whose

:00:19. > :00:21.bodies were discovered in a car in east London have been released on

:00:22. > :00:24.bail. Aaron Carriere and Josiah Manful were both repeatedly stabbed

:00:25. > :00:29.after a gang of hooded attackers surrounded their car in Leytonstone

:00:30. > :00:33.last Saturday. Detectives are still trying to establish the mothve for

:00:34. > :00:35.their murder. The company managing a Surrdy

:00:36. > :00:38.landfill site where hundreds of residents have complained about the

:00:39. > :00:43.smell say they are taking steps to tackle it. Biffa has installed a

:00:44. > :00:48.temporary flarestack at the Redhill site, which it says will relove the

:00:49. > :00:51.gas more quickly. The Environment Agency says it's monitoring the

:00:52. > :00:54.situation. There are concerns that young

:00:55. > :00:59.Londoners are being put off a career in the construction industrx through

:01:00. > :01:01.poor advice at school. The Construction Industry Trainhng Board

:01:02. > :01:07.says there should be better support for young apprentices. Warrdn

:01:08. > :01:13.Nettleford went to meet somd of them, helping transform the Olympic

:01:14. > :01:18.Stadium into West Ham's new home. Less than a year ago, using bolt

:01:19. > :01:23.illuminated this stadium for the Olympic anniversary games. Right

:01:24. > :01:28.now, there's a different race on, to transform this into West Hal's new

:01:29. > :01:31.home. The club will have thdir first game here in 2016 and are counting

:01:32. > :01:36.on apprentices to make sure the work is done on time. George and Mohammed

:01:37. > :01:40.are electrical engineering apprentices. Both of them love the

:01:41. > :01:43.stadium and both love their jobs. It's a dream come true becatse

:01:44. > :01:50.you're working on something that you can't say to everyone, " have you

:01:51. > :01:55.worked on your home team's homeground?" But I have, I'l

:01:56. > :02:00.actually doing it. 16 apprentices are already employed to transform

:02:01. > :02:03.the elliptic Park. West Ham have invested ?15 million in the stadium

:02:04. > :02:08.and the club are keen to support the creation of local jobs. I think it's

:02:09. > :02:14.brilliant, a project like this for young apprentices to come and work

:02:15. > :02:18.here as a start off point. Ht's brilliant for the local are` and,

:02:19. > :02:23.for the young lads, it's a great opportunity and you can see what

:02:24. > :02:28.kind of job they're doing. But recent research by the construction

:02:29. > :02:32.industry has found that poor careers advice could mean some misshng out

:02:33. > :02:35.on the capital's construction boom. What we find is that a lot of

:02:36. > :02:38.careers advisers and teachers are telling young people that

:02:39. > :02:42.construction is only for yotng people that can't do anything else.

:02:43. > :02:48.In London, there's predicted over the next four years to be 6400 jobs

:02:49. > :02:52.within the construction indtstry and I always say to careers advhsers and

:02:53. > :02:59.to teachers, "would you likd somebody who can't do something else

:03:00. > :03:03.to rewire your home? " . For now, George and Mohammed are just focused

:03:04. > :03:07.on doing what they can to gdt the stadium ready on time.

:03:08. > :03:14.Time for a look at the weather with Elisabeth ritzy knee.

:03:15. > :03:17.A lovely afternoon in store. It has been rather cloudy this morning but

:03:18. > :03:22.the sunshine is now emerging and put it with us for the rest of the day.

:03:23. > :03:28.It will stay dry not only for the weekend but also into the working

:03:29. > :03:35.week. Long spells of sunshine and temperatures perhaps on a p`r with

:03:36. > :03:38.yesterday, up to 16 or 17. Overnight tonight, clear and dry with

:03:39. > :03:43.temperature dropping to arotnd seven degrees. Tomorrow, a gloriots day.

:03:44. > :03:47.Wall`to`wall sunshine for m`ny of us with temperatures up to 17 or 1 .

:03:48. > :03:53.Slightly cooler next week btt still dry.

:03:54. > :03:55.That's it from me. I'll be back a little earlier than usual whth our

:03:56. > :03:58.afternoon bulletin, just after 4:30pm. Hope you can join md then.

:03:59. > :04:12.Goodbye. Good afternoon. Our weekend forecast

:04:13. > :04:14.did include some sunshine and warmth but was never going to be

:04:15. > :04:19.wall-to-wall across the whole country. We started with a lot of

:04:20. > :04:24.mist and murk and cloud but you can see how, to the south, sunshine has

:04:25. > :04:28.been breaking through. More cloud further north and a weather front

:04:29. > :04:31.still producing some rain across the northern and western isles with some

:04:32. > :04:36.strong wind across parts of Scotland. A breezy afternoon for the

:04:37. > :04:40.rugby in Murrayfield but it should be dry if a little overcast. Drive

:04:41. > :04:45.in Northern Ireland through the afternoon. Some brighter spells

:04:46. > :04:50.started to develop across northern England but it's always further

:04:51. > :04:54.south where we got the best of sunshine. A bit breezy but 15 or 16

:04:55. > :04:55.degrees in brighter spells,
