:01:01. > :01:06.to London in 2011 with her lother and siblings, escaping and `busive

:01:07. > :01:10.relatives in Mauritius. Application for asylum failed and because she

:01:11. > :01:14.was over 18 she was considered separately from her family. She has

:01:15. > :01:22.been told she must leave thd country tomorrow will be forcibly rdmoved.

:01:23. > :01:27.To be separated on Mother's Day seems unbelievable, that th`t would

:01:28. > :01:32.be the date chosen. It concdrns me she will be sent back by herself.

:01:33. > :01:37.Yashika Bageerathi is about to take her A`levels and has been offered is

:01:38. > :01:42.good ship at Queen Mary University. Everyone here says she belongs in

:01:43. > :01:46.London. She is an amazing young girl and has so much to offer thd

:01:47. > :01:51.community. She does loads of good things, for this to happen to a

:01:52. > :01:55.wonderful person is depresshng. The Home Office says it considers every

:01:56. > :02:01.claim on its individual merhts and in this case it went through all the

:02:02. > :02:05.proper legal procedures. It said it had assurances from Russian

:02:06. > :02:12.authorities she will be protected once she arrives and will bd able to

:02:13. > :02:17.continue her education. Classmates say they will do what ever ht takes

:02:18. > :02:21.to keep Yashika Bageerathi from boarding the flight tomorrow.

:02:22. > :02:25.Obesity levels in London ard rising with some doctors calling the

:02:26. > :02:27.problem an "epidemic". More than 2,500 people here were admitted to

:02:28. > :02:29.hospitals last year for obesity`related problems, and

:02:30. > :02:36.there's a warning the probldm could get even worse. Jim Wheble reports.

:02:37. > :02:41.Linda is about to have a balloon removed from her stomach. Inserted

:02:42. > :02:47.several weeks ago, the latest procedure in suppressing appetite.

:02:48. > :02:51.The consultant is the first to use the technique. He is under no

:02:52. > :02:56.illusion about the scale of the obesity problem. Were already in the

:02:57. > :02:59.midst of an obesity epidemic. We simply cannot afford it, we have to

:03:00. > :03:08.be proactive and do something differently. In Lewisham, they are

:03:09. > :03:12.focusing on exercise, nutrition and children. Funded by the council

:03:13. > :03:21.this group runs healthy livhng programmes. An easy way to remember

:03:22. > :03:27.what a proportion `` portion of fruit and vegetables... Teaching the

:03:28. > :03:31.basics. And it seems to work. It really changed my lifestyle. I am

:03:32. > :03:36.going to carry on doing these exercises and eating vegetables and

:03:37. > :03:39.fruit for the rest of my life. Lewisham has one of the biggest

:03:40. > :03:46.obesity problems in the caphtal They are doing what they can, but

:03:47. > :03:52.they fit it won't be enough. We will make a dent in those population

:03:53. > :03:57.figures, but we won't reallx turn the curve on obesity. A harsh

:03:58. > :04:02.reality echoed by many in Parliament. Unless we take dramatic

:04:03. > :04:05.action, we will be seeing pdople put their own quality of life at risk,

:04:06. > :04:12.and there is the fiscal thrdat to the NHS. Who will do that? By

:04:13. > :04:19.Cabinet ministers appointed at Cabinet level. The procedurd has

:04:20. > :04:22.finished. But without some kind of innovative approach to changing

:04:23. > :04:31.attitudes, obesity levels aren't going down any time soon.

:04:32. > :04:35.A London airport could becole a UNESCO world Heritage site.

:04:36. > :04:39.Campaigners are calling for Croydon airport to be awarded the s`me

:04:40. > :04:42.status as places like the Tower of London. It was where air tr`ffic

:04:43. > :04:47.control was first developed. A look at tomorrow's weather. It'll

:04:48. > :04:50.be another warm sunny day, with light winds. The temperaturd will be

:04:51. > :04:52.even higher than today at around 20 Celsius.

:04:53. > :04:56.Join me again tomorrow, at the same time, on BBC One. Have a good

:04:57. > :05:17.evening. Good evening. We achieved 20 degrees

:05:18. > :05:22.in the sunshine today but, in contrast, under the cloud in

:05:23. > :05:28.Northern Ireland, just nine. With the cloud, just seven in the North

:05:29. > :05:34.East. We take the contrast into tomorrow. At least the cloud here,

:05:35. > :05:40.creeping back inland, will prevent textures falling too low, down to

:05:41. > :05:41.six overnight. --
