:00:00. > 3:59:59There's more throughout the evening on the BBC News Channel, we are back

:00:00. > :00:00.Now on BBC1 its time for the news where you are.

:00:00. > :00:21.The editor of the London based Jewish Chronicle -

:00:22. > :00:25.which is the oldest Jewish newspaper in the world - has apologised for

:00:26. > :00:28.any upset caused after it printed an advert for emergency aid to Gaza.

:00:29. > :00:30.Some pro-Israelis called for a boycott of the paper

:00:31. > :00:34.And it highlights the strength of feeling in London about current

:00:35. > :00:55.This is the ad that upset readers of the Jewish chronicle - an appeal to

:00:56. > :00:59.help the people of Gaza by the disasters emergency committee, a

:01:00. > :01:05.group representing 13 of the UK s biggest charities. But some Jewish

:01:06. > :01:11.chronicle readers criticised the decision to place the ad in the

:01:12. > :01:16.Jewish newspaper. The chronicle has apologised for the upset that this

:01:17. > :01:20.advertisement in the newspaper call -- caused. But they say this was

:01:21. > :01:24.meant as a humanitarian gesture and that it doesn't reflect the

:01:25. > :01:30.newspaper's view. In fact the Jewish chronicle said it supports Israel's

:01:31. > :01:37.military operations in Gaza, but to counter the criticism, the newspaper

:01:38. > :01:47.is offering next week a free advert featuring charities that support

:01:48. > :01:51.Israel. There is many people in the Jewish community are concerned by

:01:52. > :01:55.the humanitarian impact of the conflict. Tensions are high. What is

:01:56. > :01:59.important is we cannot let come passion be a casualty to the

:02:00. > :02:05.conflict and there are many people who want to reach out across the

:02:06. > :02:11.divide. What the advert has done is shown a divide in the community The

:02:12. > :02:17.disasters emergency commit see said the Jewish chronicle offered to

:02:18. > :02:25.caraway free O'O'to carry a free advertisement.

:02:26. > :02:29.Conflict has meant tensions here with demonstrations in London. And

:02:30. > :02:39.still no resolution on the ground. Government scientists are at the

:02:40. > :02:41.V-Festival in Chelmsford to analyse samples of so-called legal-highs,

:02:42. > :02:43.including laughing gas. Home Office researchers want to

:02:44. > :02:45.gather information about substances being used

:02:46. > :02:48.at the event - as currently more than 300 chemicals once classed

:02:49. > :02:53.as legal highs are now banned. There are growing calls to have

:02:54. > :02:56.Woolwich Arsenal station moved from its current zone 4 status

:02:57. > :02:59.in south east London. Campaigners say the change will

:03:00. > :03:16.allow cheaper travel for commuters It is the last stop, the only DLA

:03:17. > :03:23.station in zone 4. But now some locals want it reclassified. It is

:03:24. > :03:29.better for workers, it is cheaper to get to work. It is about ?7 a week

:03:30. > :03:35.difference in price. Which obviously I know it doesn't sound a great

:03:36. > :03:38.deal, but over the year it is a lot. It will encourage people to come

:03:39. > :03:45.here. I have been out of London 20 years and we should be grateful it

:03:46. > :03:51.is connected. The mayor opened the station in 2009, five years later he

:03:52. > :03:59.has been petitioned to rezone it. As well as cheaper fares, it is hoped

:04:00. > :04:02.to regenerate the ymplt This is a growing economy with thousands of

:04:03. > :04:08.people and people are choosing to live here. It is a changing place,

:04:09. > :04:14.where new communities are I living here. It is not a special case. At

:04:15. > :04:24.the moment a single peak fair from zone 1 to Woolwich Arsenal is

:04:25. > :04:32.?3.806789 but it could drop to ?3.20. Boris Johnson was asked to

:04:33. > :04:38.change the Scones to incorporate zones two and three. It will cost

:04:39. > :04:42.transport for London ?7 million a year. So it has been done before and

:04:43. > :04:46.transport for London said it is looking into rezoning Woolwich, but

:04:47. > :04:53.needs to assess the costs and benefits. The DLR already gives

:04:54. > :05:03.better access to this area, soon it could be cheaper too.

:05:04. > :05:20.The start of the football season reminds us autumn is around the

:05:21. > :05:26.corner and the an autumnal flavour for the next few days. For Sunday,

:05:27. > :05:30.north-westerly winds and some rain. The rain comes from this front

:05:31. > :05:35.crossing through Northern Ireland and northern England. As it pushes

:05:36. > :05:39.south it will pep up and the wind will strengthen and the showers

:05:40. > :05:45.develop in the north and west. But for the cloud and the wind and rain

:05:46. > :05:48.it won't be too cold at 14 Celsius. We start off tomorrow with a front

:05:49. > :05:55.still to clear through England and Wales, a disappointing grey and wet

:05:56. > :06:01.start to the morning. Behind it the winds is a feature with gales even

:06:02. > :06:05.inland in Scotland and some showers and big waves. Holiday makers take

:06:06. > :06:09.note. Some brightness in England and Wales after the front clears and

:06:10. > :06:10.temperatures up to
