:00:23. > :00:25.We are unable at this time to discount terrorism, but I stress

:00:26. > :00:27.that other lines of enquiry are equally plausible.

:00:28. > :00:30.RAF Marham is home to tornado fighter jets involved

:00:31. > :00:36.Jeremy Corbyn is accused of threatening to sack MPs who don't

:00:37. > :00:40.support him after he says many will face re-selection.

:00:41. > :00:43.How millions of us have fallen victim to fraud and why it's now

:00:44. > :00:46.the most common crime in England and Wales.

:00:47. > :00:49.Moments later this unarmed man was shot by a police officer

:00:50. > :00:55.in Miami despite keeping his hands in the air.

:00:56. > :00:58.And the sun may have been shining but health experts say we all need

:00:59. > :01:01.to take Vitamin D as we're not getting enough of it.

:01:02. > :01:03.And coming up in the sport on BBC News:

:01:04. > :01:06.The FA have been meeting at Wembley to rubberstamp Sam Allardyce's

:01:07. > :01:33.Good evening and welcome to the BBC News at Six.

:01:34. > :01:36.A manhunt is underway for two men of Middle Eastern appearance

:01:37. > :01:39.who attempted to abduct a soldier out jogging near his airbase,

:01:40. > :01:48.The serviceman was not in uniform when he went out for a run yesterday

:01:49. > :01:51.- he was approached by the two men, one of whom tried to grab him,

:01:52. > :01:54.but he was able to fight him off and run away.

:01:55. > :01:57.The police say while the motive for the attack remains unclear,

:01:58. > :02:00.RAF Marham is home to the UK's Tornado fighter jets

:02:01. > :02:03.which are currently involved in operations in the Middle East.

:02:04. > :02:04.Our security correspondent Frank Gardner has more.

:02:05. > :02:13.On a quiet country lane near Norfolk a base and RAF serviceman has

:02:14. > :02:17.narrowly escaped kidnapped by two unidentified men. Security is now

:02:18. > :02:21.intense, the search is underway for the attackers, their minivan and a

:02:22. > :02:27.knife. The serviceman who escaped said to be badly shaken the attacker

:02:28. > :02:30.placed his hand on the victim shoulder and then on his wrist and

:02:31. > :02:40.started to pull him with a degree of force the vehicle. The victim

:02:41. > :02:43.resisted that, managed to break free and effectively fought free from the

:02:44. > :02:49.attack and rendered the first assailant effectively knocked the

:02:50. > :02:53.floor. Three squadrons of turn a double honours are based here,

:02:54. > :02:58.aircraft that have recently been in action against so-called Islamic

:02:59. > :03:01.State in Iraq. But police and government officials say terrorism

:03:02. > :03:05.is not the only motive being considered. RAF Marham is home to

:03:06. > :03:09.around 10,000 service personnel, their families and support staff.

:03:10. > :03:12.The RAF's front line turn those quadrants which have been used on

:03:13. > :03:19.operations in the middle east are based there. The attempted abduction

:03:20. > :03:24.took place close to the base around 3:30pm yesterday afternoon. It

:03:25. > :03:27.involved a minivan, two men and a short military style knife. It's an

:03:28. > :03:31.uncomfortable reminder of an attack on another of duty serviceman three

:03:32. > :03:36.years ago. Then she is a weirdly Rigby was run down and murdered in

:03:37. > :03:41.Woolwich by two British jihadist. We know since the brutal murder of

:03:42. > :03:44.leave Rigby that terrorist groups have become obsessed with targeting

:03:45. > :03:51.the police and the military, telling them, using them for propaganda

:03:52. > :03:57.purposes -- killing them. Hours of CCTV to jar being examined, calling

:03:58. > :04:02.for witnesses and searching for two attackers to the vehicle and weapon.

:04:03. > :04:06.At the moment this remains a criminal, not a terrorist operation.

:04:07. > :04:09.Our correspondent Sophie Long is at RAF Marham for us now.

:04:10. > :04:11.The police are appealing for information this evening,

:04:12. > :04:15.what more can you tell us about the investigation?

:04:16. > :04:22.This was never going to be a normal day here, it is a family fun day, an

:04:23. > :04:25.annual event where friends and families of service men and women

:04:26. > :04:30.who work at the base behind me come and see what they do. This year they

:04:31. > :04:33.won't have got a perfect picture, one road remains closed and two

:04:34. > :04:38.suspect accused of attempting to abduct a service man who works here

:04:39. > :04:41.remain at large. It's crucial that police find those two men and their

:04:42. > :04:45.vehicle because only then will they be able to establish the motive

:04:46. > :04:49.behind the attack and then can the rule out whether it was terror role

:04:50. > :04:54.they did. That is what worries the families more is to have come here

:04:55. > :04:58.today. The young man involved we are told is eight-year man, married in

:04:59. > :05:02.his 20s. He was running close to the married quarters about a mile down

:05:03. > :05:06.the road. He said one of the men said something to him but because he

:05:07. > :05:10.was running with headphones in he was unable to tell them what it was.

:05:11. > :05:15.Norfolk police say they are treating it with the utmost seriousness, an

:05:16. > :05:18.investigation is underway. Meanwhile the service men and women who work

:05:19. > :05:22.at the base behind me are being told to not come out alone or in their

:05:23. > :05:25.uniforms and to make themselves as invulnerable as they possibly can.

:05:26. > :05:28.Jeremy Corbyn has said that Labour MPs could face re-selection -

:05:29. > :05:30.when new parliamentary boundaries come into force in

:05:31. > :05:35.It raises the possibility that Labour MPs who do not

:05:36. > :05:39.support his leadership may be out of a job.

:05:40. > :05:42.Mr Corbyn was speaking at the launch of his campaign to hold

:05:43. > :05:45.on as leader of the party - a campaign which he is now

:05:46. > :05:48.Our Political Correspondent Vicki Young has more details.

:05:49. > :05:52.He was elected as Labour leader less than a year ago,

:05:53. > :05:56.but today Jeremy Corbyn was back on the campaign trail.

:05:57. > :05:59.Most Labour MPs have deserted him, but he says his desire

:06:00. > :06:01.to fight inequality, neglect and discrimination

:06:02. > :06:10.Labour movement is about improving people's lives, about ending

:06:11. > :06:13.injustice, about giving power to the powerless and building

:06:14. > :06:19.a society where opportunity and wealth is shared.

:06:20. > :06:21.A raft of policy announcements are promised over the summer.

:06:22. > :06:37.The next Labour government will require all employers

:06:38. > :06:40.to publish equality pay audits, detailing pay, grade and hours

:06:41. > :06:41.of every job alongside data on recognised

:06:42. > :06:44.But what about the deep divisions between him

:06:45. > :06:48.The reason you are here is because most of your MPs have

:06:49. > :06:51.decided it's not that they don't like you, they don't think

:06:52. > :06:55.This party is going places, this party is strong,

:06:56. > :06:57.this party is capable of winning a general election.

:06:58. > :07:00.And if I'm leader of the party, I will be the Prime Minister.

:07:01. > :07:03.Mr Corbyn said it was the duty of all Labour MPs to get

:07:04. > :07:05.behind the party and take on the Conservatives.

:07:06. > :07:08.He offered his colleagues the hand of friendship but seemed to confirm

:07:09. > :07:10.they could be ousted as Labour candidates at the next election

:07:11. > :07:14.There will be a full and open selection process for every

:07:15. > :07:16.Labour constituency, every constituency Labour Party

:07:17. > :07:21.Mr Corbyn's allies insist that's not a threat to replace MPs

:07:22. > :07:32.But the man who is challenging him in this contest isn't so sure.

:07:33. > :07:34.It doesn't seem very kind and gentle to me for Jeremy

:07:35. > :07:38.to threaten everybody who works for him, with the sack.

:07:39. > :07:41.It's not much of an employer who says work harder or I'm

:07:42. > :07:45.Why do you think you should be the next Labour leader?

:07:46. > :07:47.I'm a socialist, same as Jeremy, I am someone who wants

:07:48. > :07:50.But I want a radical Labour government,

:07:51. > :07:56.I want to put the principles into practice.

:07:57. > :07:59.More than half a million people will get a vote in this leadership

:08:00. > :08:03.contest and more than 100,000 of them signed up just this week.

:08:04. > :08:05.Jeremy Corbyn's team is convinced the majority of them

:08:06. > :08:13.So while he's lost support here in Parliament, today

:08:14. > :08:15.he certainly looked and sounded confident of victory.

:08:16. > :08:20.But Owen Smith's supporters say things are shifting their way.

:08:21. > :08:23.I supported Jeremy last year to be leader because I believed a lot

:08:24. > :08:27.I thought he could be a fantastic leader and put his

:08:28. > :08:31.But the bottom line is, they stayed on paper.

:08:32. > :08:34.Jeremy Corbyn simply doesn't have the support among Labour MPs.

:08:35. > :08:36.He doesn't have a Shadow Cabinet that is able to form

:08:37. > :08:38.an effective opposition, let alone an effective government.

:08:39. > :08:40.Do you think Jeremy Corbyn could ever be

:08:41. > :08:45.Team Corbyn is as passionate as ever.

:08:46. > :08:48.He has a massive mandate among grassroots people and the attacks

:08:49. > :08:54.He's been providing tremendous leadership up and down the country.

:08:55. > :08:56.Beginning with bringing into the Labour Party,

:08:57. > :09:03.And the Labour leader hopes that enthusiasm

:09:04. > :09:12.The prosecutor investigating the Nice terror attack in which 84

:09:13. > :09:14.people were killed has said the lorry driver Mohamed Bouhlel had

:09:15. > :09:17.accomplices and had been planning the attack for several months.

:09:18. > :09:19.Let's speak to our correspondent Lucy Williamson who's in Paris

:09:20. > :09:32.It had initially looked as if this man acted alone but now it doesn't

:09:33. > :09:37.appear that way? That is correct, five suspected accomplices in

:09:38. > :09:41.custody here tonight. French, Tunisian and Albanian nationalities

:09:42. > :09:45.including one Albanian man suspected of supplying the pistol bound in the

:09:46. > :09:51.cab. The prosecutor said text messages were found between Mohamed

:09:52. > :09:57.Bouhlel and one of the suspected accomplices talking about soldiers

:09:58. > :10:05.of a la, describing themselves as soldiers of Allah. The interior

:10:06. > :10:09.minister said that he believed Mohamed Bouhlel might have been very

:10:10. > :10:13.quickly radicalised because there were not that many obvious signs

:10:14. > :10:17.that that is what he was planning to do, he was unknown to security

:10:18. > :10:20.services. The question over France is how much this suspected group was

:10:21. > :10:25.plugged into the wider jihadist network.

:10:26. > :10:29.Theresa May is meeting the French President Francois Hollande in Paris

:10:30. > :10:37.tonight to discuss Britain's experts from the European Union. Yesterday

:10:38. > :10:40.Theresa May said more time was needed and the objectives for formal

:10:41. > :10:43.talks and Sigma called that article 50 would not be triggered this year.

:10:44. > :10:46.Now we may all have been enjoying the recent sunshine -

:10:47. > :10:48.but with the unpredictable nature of the British summer,

:10:49. > :10:52.Health experts say we're not and we should all consider taking

:10:53. > :10:55.Vitamin D supplements in the autumn and winter months to make up

:10:56. > :10:59.for a lack of sun and the fact we're not eating enough eggs and fish -

:11:00. > :11:02.a rich source of the vitamin which keeps our bones strong.

:11:03. > :11:12.This is what vitamin deed efficiency can look like, the normally strong

:11:13. > :11:17.leg bones have become soft and bowed under the weight of the body. In

:11:18. > :11:20.children it is often the result of the condition rackets. At Manchester

:11:21. > :11:23.Royal Infirmary doctors say the health community has finally woken

:11:24. > :11:34.up to the significant problems caused by a lack of vitamin deed. We

:11:35. > :11:41.see people with problems with Vitamin D at all ages all levels of

:11:42. > :11:46.society. One of the problems of diagnosing Vitamin D deficiency in

:11:47. > :11:53.general is that the symptoms can be very non-specific so people can just

:11:54. > :12:03.have pain, muscle weakness, if it gets very bad the bones can break.

:12:04. > :12:06.Food like oily fish, eggs and some cereals contain Vitamin D but

:12:07. > :12:10.experts say it's hard to get enough food diet alone. Our main source

:12:11. > :12:15.comes from the sun on our skin but it doesn't work through sunscreen.

:12:16. > :12:19.The advice from today is that all adults in the UK should have a

:12:20. > :12:22.vitamin deed pill once a day in the autumn and winter and children under

:12:23. > :12:27.the age of four should have won every day of the year. Scotland is

:12:28. > :12:38.reassessing whether a young babies there should also get it. The advice

:12:39. > :12:39.is that we should be taking supplements particularly in the

:12:40. > :12:41.winter months and children throughout the year, do you think

:12:42. > :12:45.that's reasonable? It's certainly reasonable, the evidence is there,

:12:46. > :12:51.worldwide evidence poured through very careful and that's the

:12:52. > :12:55.recommendation. It seems a bit of an imposition for everyone to take a

:12:56. > :13:00.vitamin supplement. I think you could get into the routine of giving

:13:01. > :13:04.them one day, maybe missed a day or two, but if you miss it on a couple

:13:05. > :13:09.of days it probably doesn't matter too much. There is also the issue of

:13:10. > :13:12.the cost of these things. They are not cheap. I do worry about whether

:13:13. > :13:20.people on low incomes can afford to take them. It's quite expensive. NHS

:13:21. > :13:25.England says Vitamin D pills are available free of charge for low

:13:26. > :13:27.income families and in addition to supplements experts say exercise is

:13:28. > :13:30.also good for the bones. Dramatic video footage has revealed

:13:31. > :13:34.the moment a black man was shot by a US police officer in Miami

:13:35. > :13:37.despite the man keeping his hands in the air and telling

:13:38. > :13:39.the officer he was unarmed. Charles Kinsey is a therapist

:13:40. > :13:42.who was trying to reassure his autistic patient who was sitting

:13:43. > :13:45.on the ground next to him. Tensions are high in the US

:13:46. > :13:48.after a number of black people have been shot by police

:13:49. > :13:50.and police officers killed Our north America correspondent

:13:51. > :13:57.Nick Bryant reports. An unarmed black man

:13:58. > :14:00.with his hands in the air, trying to explain to police

:14:01. > :14:02.he is a therapist looking after a young man with autism,

:14:03. > :14:05.whose toy truck has been mistaken He pleads with his patient to lie

:14:06. > :14:13.down on his stomach. The police had responded

:14:14. > :14:23.to an emergency call that a man was brandishing a gun

:14:24. > :14:27.and threatening suicide. The video ends before the therapist,

:14:28. > :14:30.Charles Kinsey, was shot But you can hear him trying

:14:31. > :14:42.desperately to calm the situation. I stick up my hands and I say,

:14:43. > :14:49."I just got shot." And his words to me,

:14:50. > :14:56.he said, "I don't know." No weapon was found at the scene

:14:57. > :14:58.even though an officer Charles Kinsey's lawyer,

:14:59. > :15:03.the son of a policeman himself, There is no justification

:15:04. > :15:08.for shooting an unarmed person who is talking to you and telling

:15:09. > :15:14.you that they don't have a gun and they are a mental

:15:15. > :15:16.health counsellor. I just don't

:15:17. > :15:17.understand, there can This summer has seen weeks

:15:18. > :15:25.of protests about the police treatment of African Americans

:15:26. > :15:28.and also the killing of police officers in Dallas and Baton Rouge,

:15:29. > :15:31.seemingly in retaliation. The last thing this country needs

:15:32. > :15:34.is yet another racial flash point. Nick Bryant, BBC News,

:15:35. > :15:43.Washington. A manhunt is under way for two

:15:44. > :15:48.people who tried to abduct a serviceman from RAF

:15:49. > :15:58.Marham in Norfolk. # Oh baby

:15:59. > :16:01.# Here I am # Signed, sealed

:16:02. > :16:02.# Delivered # I'm

:16:03. > :16:04.yours# A first for a First Lady -

:16:05. > :16:12.Michelle Obama tries her hand In Sportsday, Chris Froome takes a

:16:13. > :16:16.huge step towards a third Tour de France title as he extends his lead

:16:17. > :16:17.to almost four minutes after today's time trial with three stages

:16:18. > :16:28.remaining. You're more likely to be a victim

:16:29. > :16:31.of fraud than any other type One in ten of us is

:16:32. > :16:35.likely to fall victim - most probably by losing money

:16:36. > :16:37.from our bank accounts and credit cards -

:16:38. > :16:39.as our Home Affairs correspondent, These are the faces of some

:16:40. > :16:44.of Britain's most wanted fraudsters Men suspected of stealing money

:16:45. > :16:48.through dating apps, The internet era has

:16:49. > :16:55.brought with it a whole Fraud, hacking and computer viruses

:16:56. > :17:00.now affect one in ten people About the same risk as all other

:17:01. > :17:07.crimes added together. And statisticians, compiling

:17:08. > :17:10.the figures for the first time, say these new crimes

:17:11. > :17:13.affect everyone, equally. Unlike traditional crimes,

:17:14. > :17:17.what we are seeing today is these figures show that everyone

:17:18. > :17:20.in society has a very similar level of risk,

:17:21. > :17:23.whether you live in an urban area, or a rural area, a poor

:17:24. > :17:26.area or a rich area, your chance of being a victim

:17:27. > :17:29.of fraud is very similar. Like computers and smartphones,

:17:30. > :17:31.computer fraud has reached Cherie Power told me she paid ?2,500

:17:32. > :17:41.of her money and her friend's She never got the villa

:17:42. > :17:46.and the money simply disappeared I think it's quite sickening how

:17:47. > :17:56.somebody can actually act that dishonest and be OK with taking that

:17:57. > :17:58.much money from someone. Fraud and online crime has become

:17:59. > :18:08.such a growing problem that police forces are having to develop

:18:09. > :18:11.new ways of dealing with them. We've been invited to this anonymous

:18:12. > :18:14.police building in London, to see the work of Falcon,

:18:15. > :18:17.a new specialist unit set up two years ago to deal

:18:18. > :18:21.with these new crimes. Here detectives have had to embrace

:18:22. > :18:23.different skills. They can't catch computer fraudsters

:18:24. > :18:33.using fingerprints and DNA. We need specialists to be able

:18:34. > :18:36.to look through bank accounts, to look through IP addresses and see

:18:37. > :18:39.where the computer is maybe set up Technically-trained officers,

:18:40. > :18:42.to be able to download and collect And the sheer scale of the fraud

:18:43. > :18:48.means they are having to target their resources

:18:49. > :18:51.on the offences that are easiest to solve and on the criminals

:18:52. > :18:58.who do the most harm. Police in Brazil have arrested 10

:18:59. > :19:03.people who allegedly pledged allegiance to so-called

:19:04. > :19:07.Islamic State on social media and discussed possible

:19:08. > :19:09.attacks during the Olympics All suspects are said

:19:10. > :19:13.to be Brazilian. They were detained after talking

:19:14. > :19:15.about using weapons and guerrilla tactics to launch a potential attack

:19:16. > :19:18.during the Games, which open The ban on Russia's entire

:19:19. > :19:25.athletics team competing in Rio Olympics has been upheld

:19:26. > :19:28.despite a legal challenge. The Court of Arbitration for Sport

:19:29. > :19:31.in Switzerland has rejected attempts by a number of Russian athletes

:19:32. > :19:33.to get it overturned. Russia's sports minister insisted

:19:34. > :19:36.the ruling was "political" and has Steve Rosenberg has spent the day

:19:37. > :19:41.with some of the athletes Near Moscow today they were

:19:42. > :19:46.battling for medals. This event was supposed to be final

:19:47. > :19:55.preparation for the summer Olympics. But Russian track and field

:19:56. > :19:57.is banned from international competition because of doping

:19:58. > :20:04.allegations. Today, more than 60 athletes

:20:05. > :20:07.lost their appeal in sport's highest They won't be going

:20:08. > :20:14.to Rio. Because the great aim

:20:15. > :20:22.for all professional athletes is to be part of the Olympic Games

:20:23. > :20:31.and to get medals. For Maria Kuchina, Rio would have

:20:32. > :20:33.been her first Olympic Games. "It's not fair, clean

:20:34. > :20:36.sportsmen should be allowed Russian officials say today's court

:20:37. > :20:46.decision has robbed Russian track and field athletes of their Olympic

:20:47. > :20:49.dream but the nightmare scenario for Moscow would be a ban

:20:50. > :20:53.on all Russian sportsmen in Rio, the entire team and that will be

:20:54. > :20:56.for the International Olympic That's because this week

:20:57. > :21:04.the World Anti-Doping Agency presented evidence of cheating

:21:05. > :21:06.by Russia in 30 sports, with the help of a secret doping

:21:12. > :21:19.of the Russian Athletics Federation, state-sponsored doping and he called

:21:20. > :21:22.today's court ruling Six time Olympic champion,

:21:23. > :21:50.Usain Bolt, in London today. You see the proof, I feel you should

:21:51. > :21:53.take action and if you feel banning them is right,

:21:54. > :21:55.I am for it. But if Rio does go ahead

:21:56. > :22:00.without Russia, it'll be It's four weeks since Britain voted

:22:01. > :22:02.to leave the European Union. All this week we've been hearing

:22:03. > :22:05.from different voices around The South East is one of the many

:22:06. > :22:09.areas that voted for Brexit. Our Political Editor there,

:22:10. > :22:12.Helen Catt, has been to Dover, It's an issue which has certainly

:22:13. > :22:20.stirred emotions in the south-east. In the port town of Dover,

:22:21. > :22:22.more than 60% of voters For many, immigration

:22:23. > :22:28.was a key factor. It took me nine months to find a job

:22:29. > :22:32.in this country because the employers

:22:33. > :22:36.were favouring Europeans. I had a young family at the time

:22:37. > :22:39.that I needed to provide for. I couldn't provide for them

:22:40. > :22:42.because I couldn't get a job. There is just way too many people

:22:43. > :22:45.trying to get into the country They should try to do that

:22:46. > :22:49.in their own countries. The UK is now moving towards life

:22:50. > :22:52.outside the EU but what will that new future look like for migrants

:22:53. > :22:55.like Portugese cafe It's always been my

:22:56. > :23:01.dream to get a cafe. This is why I have been working

:23:02. > :23:05.for 17 years in this country. Before, if someone said to me,

:23:06. > :23:10."go home", I had the chance to say, "This is my home

:23:11. > :23:14.and I have the right to be At the moment, we don't

:23:15. > :23:20.have that voice. Calais is only about 20 miles that

:23:21. > :23:23.way from the Port of Dover and the almost constant stream

:23:24. > :23:26.of ferries shuttling back and forth play a vital role in the town's

:23:27. > :23:29.economy, but it's that proximity to mainland Europe which has made

:23:30. > :23:31.Dover a symbolic battleground, And it seems that battle may have

:23:32. > :23:39.left its mark on the town We found, particularly the first few

:23:40. > :23:43.days after the vote, that there was a lot of insecurity

:23:44. > :23:59.and fear and where racial abuse has been scrawledd in certain

:24:00. > :24:01.parts of Dover. They have possibly the mistaken

:24:02. > :24:04.belief that the migration issue will Well, in fact it won't go away

:24:05. > :24:07.because, here in this A few miles down the road,

:24:08. > :24:11.at what claims to be Britain's closest pub

:24:12. > :24:13.to France, a different story. I voted out purely because living

:24:14. > :24:16.in Kent, immigration. I can understand business

:24:17. > :24:23.and the City boys voting to stay in. The country is split

:24:24. > :24:28.and it is them and us. For now, though, both migrants

:24:29. > :24:32.who want to stay and voters who want less immigration are in the same

:24:33. > :24:34.boat, waiting to see Now, she's America's First Lady

:24:35. > :24:44.and a role model for millions But as Michelle Obama's time

:24:45. > :24:52.in the White House draws to a close, she's decided to show her lighter

:24:53. > :24:54.side - jumping in alongside British comic, James Corden,

:24:55. > :24:56.for his Carpool Karaoke - which has become something

:24:57. > :24:59.of an institution on US television. In last night's episode Corden took

:25:00. > :25:02.a tour of the White House, I hear you're doing the 1.45 tour,

:25:03. > :25:13.and I've got some time on my hands, Do you mind if we

:25:14. > :25:28.listen to some music? I rarely get to listen to music

:25:29. > :25:31.in the car. Did you know that Stevie

:25:32. > :25:56.Wonder is my favourite? # Like a fool I went

:25:57. > :26:00.and stayed too long # Now I'm wondering if you're love's

:26:01. > :26:02.still strong # Oh baby # Here I am # Sign, sealed,

:26:03. > :26:05.delivered # I'm yours # They were later joined by surprise

:26:06. > :26:08.guest Missy Elliott for a rendition And there was a surprising

:26:09. > :26:14.revelation from the First Lady. Oh, wow I have been in a car,

:26:15. > :26:17.maybe it was months ago, with my daughter

:26:18. > :26:18.who learned to drive. We rocked out with her

:26:19. > :26:22.but that was the only time in seven-and-a-half years that

:26:23. > :26:25.I have been in the passenger seat, listening to music,

:26:26. > :26:26.rocking out like this. She also talked about what she would

:26:27. > :26:31.miss about the White House You know, to walk away from people

:26:32. > :26:36.that you see every # If you like it,

:26:37. > :26:52.then you should've put # Oh, oh,

:26:53. > :27:04.Come on, sing it to us. Absolutely not. The gallery is

:27:05. > :27:09.begging me. North time or place. Let's stick to all thing

:27:10. > :27:09.meteorological. This evening, not a bad

:27:10. > :27:11.Let's stick to all thing meteorological. This evening, not a

:27:12. > :27:16.bad evening. A little on the cloudy side. Cloud

:27:17. > :27:18.increasing through the afternoon. A couple of sprinkles reaching

:27:19. > :27:24.southern, western and northern areas. For most a dry evening, which

:27:25. > :27:27.is how it'll stay but one or two showers are on the cards. Through

:27:28. > :27:31.this evening and overnight, across the Midlands into the Pennines, we

:27:32. > :27:34.could get a couple of heavy showers, also in western and parts of

:27:35. > :27:39.Scotland, look at the temperatures, not as hot as it has been, but still

:27:40. > :27:42.on the warm side. 17 from the lowlands of Scotland all the way

:27:43. > :27:46.southwards. Tomorrow, it is one of those days where the weather will be

:27:47. > :27:49.a little hit and miss. Plenty of dry weather and sunshine around but the

:27:50. > :27:53.chance of catching one or two heavy downpours, particularly to the north

:27:54. > :27:56.of London, around East Anglia and into Lincolnshire there. Could be

:27:57. > :27:59.hail there as well and one or two showers dotted around further north

:28:00. > :28:03.and west, too. If you are planning to spend a pleasant Friday evening

:28:04. > :28:06.outdoors, for most of us it should be fine. Remember, those showers

:28:07. > :28:12.will be lurking around. Here is a look at Saturday. We have a couple

:28:13. > :28:16.of fronts wishy washing its way across the UK. This one in the west

:28:17. > :28:19.will bring cloud and outbreaks of rain into the north-west of the

:28:20. > :28:24.country and also further east, there will beshine with a few showers

:28:25. > :28:28.dotted around. So, there is hit and miss bits of rain. A hot day on

:28:29. > :28:32.Saturday in the south-east. I don't think it will be that gloriously

:28:33. > :28:36.sunny. Western areas will have fresher weather. The same theme

:28:37. > :28:40.continues into Sunday. Out west thicker cloud and a chance of rain

:28:41. > :28:44.in the north-west but in the south-east, hotter weather with

:28:45. > :28:48.highs up to 26. So, let's summarise all of that.

:28:49. > :28:53.Actually no, we won't. I will hand you back.

:28:54. > :28:57.Thank you very much. A reminder of our main story this evening:

:28:58. > :29:01.A manhunt is under way for two people who tried to abduct a

:29:02. > :29:03.serviceman from RAF Marham in Norfolk.

:29:04. > :29:05.That's all from the BBC News at Six, so it's goodbye from me
