:01:30. > :01:33.with the arrival of another storm tonight.

:01:37. > :01:39.and central Scotland, as well as parts of Wales
:01:40. > :01:46.This evening, troops were brought in to help evacuate residents
:01:47. > :01:49.from the town of Tadcaster, in Lancashire, where a bridge

:02:10. > :02:10.homes. All of this because of dramatic events just a few hundred
:02:11. > :02:18.yards away just a few hours ago. Tonight, after three days
:02:19. > :02:23.of resisting the torrent, the bridge over the River Wharf
:02:24. > :02:25.in Tadcaster finally, Amid the destruction a gas main
:02:26. > :02:29.was fractured and that triggered the immediate evacuation
:02:30. > :02:32.of dozens of homes. A bitter blow for those who have
:02:33. > :02:35.already suffered three days We've just been evacuated
:02:36. > :02:40.from our home, that's just the culmination of three days
:02:41. > :02:44.of absolute devastation. It's all a reminder
:02:45. > :02:56.that is this is not over yet. Despite today's sunshine,
:02:57. > :02:58.communities along the River Ouse are still fighting to
:02:59. > :03:00.hold back the water. The ancient city of York struggling
:03:01. > :03:05.to emerge from the worst Flying over all of this water
:03:06. > :03:13.in this kind of weather looks dramatic and spectacular,
:03:14. > :03:15.and even quite beautiful, but what you realise,
:03:16. > :03:18.of course, is that it's down there on the ground,
:03:19. > :03:21.down in places like Huntingdon Road Jason and Jack among those returning
:03:22. > :03:40.home for the first time. Their beekeeping business lost
:03:41. > :03:44.to the rising waters. York is coming out of this disaster,
:03:45. > :03:56.look at the difference 24 But, as the waters retreat,
:03:57. > :03:59.the questions for Ministers keep We have spent an incredible amount
:04:00. > :04:03.of money on flood defences over But if more needs to happen,
:04:04. > :04:10.more needs to happen. The focus here now is all
:04:11. > :04:14.about cleaning up and moving on, throwing out what's been destroyed
:04:15. > :04:17.and facing the future. I can't tell you how many offers
:04:18. > :04:24.we have had of homes and everything, Would it be rotten of me
:04:25. > :04:30.to say happy new year? I am hoping that once this is over

:06:30. > :06:31.cottages but the evidence of its Christmas assault
:06:32. > :06:35.A chaotic mess of carpets, furniture and personal belongings.

:06:38. > :06:51.Now they fear Storm Frank may bring a third.

:08:32. > :08:36.very strong here. It started raining about an hour ago. The bulk of that
:08:37. > :08:42.rainfall, the highest levels of it, are expected to begin from just
:08:43. > :08:47.after midnight onwards. In the 12-24 hours that follows, we are expecting
:08:48. > :08:51.up to 150 milimetres of it to fall here in Dumfries and Galloway. Many
:08:52. > :08:56.areas of Scotland will experience large volumes of rain but not quite
:08:57. > :09:01.as much as they're expecting here. This is the river at normal levels
:09:02. > :09:06.and it's expected to rise rapidly to a point at about 11.00am tomorrow
