:00:23. > :00:33.Chris Page reports. Melvin Bamber, who is 23 and from

:00:33. > :00:38.Clonavon Road... The prosecution believed the attack command in the

:00:38. > :00:43.forecourt of this pest crustacean in the North Road area of Ballymena

:00:43. > :00:47.yesterday. CCTV pictures showed Melvin Bamber with the victim

:00:47. > :00:52.shortly before the attack happened. The detective said the victim got a

:00:52. > :00:55.severe kicking. He is still unconscious in hospital. The

:00:55. > :00:59.detective told the court that Melvin Bamber matched the

:00:59. > :01:02.description of the attacker given by two witnesses. The court heard

:01:02. > :01:07.that Melvin Bamber admitted to police that he was the man in the

:01:07. > :01:10.CCTV footage but he said he was so drunk he could not remember what

:01:10. > :01:14.happened for stop the accused claimed he did not believe he had

:01:14. > :01:19.carried out the attack because he would not do that to a friend. The

:01:19. > :01:22.district judge refused bail. A 22-year-old man has been arrested

:01:22. > :01:25.after an attempted armed robbery in Belfast city centre. Eyewitnesses

:01:25. > :01:28.said a man who appeared to be carrying a rifle threatened staff

:01:28. > :01:32.at a perfume counter in the Debenhams store at Castlecourt

:01:32. > :01:35.before being arrested by the police. A spokesman for the police

:01:35. > :01:43.ombudsman said the officers had their Taser weapons drawn, but they

:01:43. > :01:47.were not used. The police are investigating the

:01:47. > :01:51.cause of a blaze which badly damaged a GAA club in Londonderry.

:01:51. > :01:59.Members of the Sean Dolan club in the Creggan area say they can't

:02:04. > :02:09.The entrance to the club car park has been cordoned off by police and

:02:09. > :02:16.this is as close as our camera could get. Even at a distance, the

:02:16. > :02:19.damage is clear. The club is at the heart of the Creggan community and

:02:19. > :02:25.its members looked on in disbelief. We do not know where we stand up

:02:25. > :02:32.the present time. I am shocked, I cannot give you an answer to this

:02:32. > :02:37.here. Everybody is shattered. route has burned and collapsed and

:02:37. > :02:40.what is left inside his chart. The fire service believe the play

:02:40. > :02:44.started on the first floor but at this stage does not know what

:02:44. > :02:51.caused it. It is very windy here at the moment and he was just like

:02:52. > :02:56.this at 4AM when fire crews arrived. They said the strong winds fanned

:02:56. > :03:01.the flames throughout the building, making spread easily and making it

:03:01. > :03:06.a dangerous rescue operation for them. When we arrived, the fire was

:03:06. > :03:13.coming out of the rift. We brought in appliances from two stations to

:03:13. > :03:17.tackle the blaze. We were hampered with a high bounce and it took 25

:03:17. > :03:20.firefighters two-and-a-half hours to bring the fire under control.

:03:20. > :03:26.The lease are trying to establish how the fire started and say they

:03:40. > :03:45.a two-year contract. He was capped 33 times for Northern Ireland as a

:03:45. > :03:48.player. In management he has made his reputation with Shamrock Rovers,

:03:48. > :03:52.guiding the Dublin club to successive League of Ireland titles

:03:52. > :03:55.and into the group stages of this season's Europa League. O'Neill's

:04:17. > :04:22.of the families he's helped says that his work is too important to

:04:22. > :04:32.end and so they have set up a charity to make sure it continues.

:04:32. > :04:36.

:04:37. > :04:40.Julian Fowler has been to Irvinestown to meet them.

:04:40. > :04:45.When Gina McCusker was diagnosed with cancer, the Shine A Light

:04:45. > :04:47.charity make sure she would have something to look forward to him

:04:47. > :04:55.between the many hospital appointments. Bily McCrory arranged

:04:56. > :05:02.a visit to a West End show and a backstage pass to meet the stars.

:05:02. > :05:09.With Billy, he just turned her life around. Stuck in the doldrums, in

:05:09. > :05:14.and out of hospital all of the time. Giving us a bit of a life. Memory

:05:27. > :05:32.they put on a trip to London she told Billy off her dream. She said

:05:32. > :05:40.it would be her dream which grow up to help are the children just like

:05:40. > :05:46.her. I thought of as a lovely thing to hear from a child. It came about

:05:46. > :05:51.by one conversation, the title Tina's dream is just act. A few

:05:51. > :05:59.weeks ago, the charity took several families on the trip of a lifetime

:06:04. > :06:09.with leukaemia and it was a dream for her to meet Santa this

:06:09. > :06:12.Christmas. They had a husky dogs and I'm really loved it. It has

:06:12. > :06:17.been a hard year for us with our son going through the treatment he

:06:17. > :06:24.has been going through and to have such a dream like this, I think I

:06:24. > :06:31.was actually more excited at the start! The charity is now helping

:06:31. > :06:35.other children fulfil their dreams. It has been a very stormy day.

:06:50. > :06:54.Good evening. It was a much colder feeling day today. Temperatures

:06:54. > :07:00.between six and eight degrees and the chill was emphasised by

:07:00. > :07:05.blustery winds. If we had a gust just short of 80 mph reported. The

:07:05. > :07:10.highest wins have passed. But the amber warning remains in place for

:07:10. > :07:14.this evening. Still the potential for some disruption and the odd

:07:14. > :07:18.damaging cast, particularly towards the north coast. The gales 10 to

:07:18. > :07:24.ease down through the course of the evening and through the night. It
