0:00:11 > 0:00:17Good evening. This is BBC Newsline with Noel Thompson and Donna

0:00:17 > 0:00:19Traynor. The headlines this Tuesday evening: The source of the

0:00:19 > 0:00:24infection which killed four babies in neonatal units here has been

0:00:24 > 0:00:30identified as sink taps. A Strabane man is jalied for life

0:00:30 > 0:00:32for a brutal dissident republican murder in Donegal four years ago.

0:00:32 > 0:00:41Another turn of the screw for motorists, as botched car repairs

0:00:41 > 0:00:45pile on the financial pressure. A short trip from Coney Island to

0:00:45 > 0:00:52the Oscars for one local film maker. By webcam from the West Indies, we

0:00:52 > 0:00:58hear from the first Irish woman to row across the Atlantic.

0:00:58 > 0:01:03We have the giants of motorcycle racing up at the Giant's Causeway.

0:01:03 > 0:01:06And cricket Ireland say it is time to give us the all important Test

0:01:06 > 0:01:08status. And although it's been another mild

0:01:08 > 0:01:14day with even suggestions of spring, we are expecting some wintry

0:01:14 > 0:01:17weather later this week. I'll have all the details.

0:01:17 > 0:01:19A number of sink taps were the source of the infection that killed

0:01:19 > 0:01:29three babies at the Royal Victoria Hospital's neo-natal unit in the

0:01:29 > 0:01:30

0:01:30 > 0:01:32past fortnight. A fourth infant died before Christmas in

0:01:32 > 0:01:34Altanagelvin Hospital where again the infection has been traced to

0:01:34 > 0:01:37taps at a sink. Pseudomonas is a bacterial infection that's widely

0:01:37 > 0:01:39found in soil and stagnant water. The health minister told the

0:01:39 > 0:01:42Assembly today there's no evidence that the bacterium is in the water

0:01:42 > 0:01:46system at the Royal. And he emphasised that patients should

0:01:46 > 0:01:50attend the hospital as normal. In a moment we'll talk to the minister

0:01:50 > 0:01:56who's in our studio this evening. But first our Health Correspondent,

0:01:56 > 0:02:01Marie-Louise Connolly, reports on today's developments.

0:02:01 > 0:02:05Tiny and pressures, premature babies just like these are at the

0:02:05 > 0:02:13centre of a major health scare. Born fighting for their lives there

0:02:13 > 0:02:18now battling across the potentially fatal bacterial infection,

0:02:18 > 0:02:24Pseudomonas. Six cases have been confirmed with a 7th case suspected.

0:02:24 > 0:02:30Also confirmed is the source of the infection. The Health Minister of

0:02:30 > 0:02:36said it had been traced to the taps. The team are in the process of

0:02:36 > 0:02:46removing and replacing all taps in the affected area. Pseudomonas has

0:02:46 > 0:02:47

0:02:47 > 0:02:51also been traced to the Altnagelvin neonatal unit in Londonderry.

0:02:51 > 0:02:57However this infant had a different strain of the infection that is

0:02:57 > 0:03:02currently being investigated in Belfast. The cases in Londonderry

0:03:02 > 0:03:05prompted the Chief Medical Officer to write to all health Trusts on

0:03:05 > 0:03:10December 22nd about water sources and the potential infection risk to

0:03:10 > 0:03:13patients. The letter reminded staff about good practice in dealing with

0:03:13 > 0:03:18water systems in order to minimise and manage the risk of

0:03:18 > 0:03:25contamination by it organisms such as Pseudomonas. However the letter

0:03:25 > 0:03:29does not state that a child had died. When we identified the

0:03:29 > 0:03:34incident in Altnagelvin and became aware that this was related to a

0:03:34 > 0:03:40tap within the unit, we really should the guidance to all the

0:03:40 > 0:03:45Trusts across Northern Ireland, reminding them of the information.

0:03:45 > 0:03:49I understand that you never get over losing a baby. Considering

0:03:49 > 0:03:54that for babies across northern Arnaud died, did authorities act

0:03:54 > 0:03:59quickly enough? The fact is that three babies died in a short space

0:03:59 > 0:04:07of time. The source of the infection in two different sides

0:04:07 > 0:04:10was the same. Could more have been done between the baby dying in

0:04:10 > 0:04:13Altnagelvin to three babies dying in the Royal? It has also emerged

0:04:14 > 0:04:21that a baby's have traces of the infection on their skin. This does

0:04:21 > 0:04:26not mean they are infected but they are being closely monitored.

0:04:26 > 0:04:30We are trying our best to get rid of the infection. So hopefully in

0:04:30 > 0:04:35the next few days it will be all clear and the babies will get

0:04:35 > 0:04:39better. Sink taps at the neonatal unit at the Royal Lodge has

0:04:39 > 0:04:44replaced one year ago. The health minister says that lessons must be

0:04:44 > 0:04:47learned and it is crucial that that happens immediately.

0:04:47 > 0:04:54And we have heard that a 7th case has been confirmed this evening

0:04:54 > 0:04:59with me now is the health minister, Edwin Poots. When the baby died in

0:04:59 > 0:05:04Altnagelvin, did you inform the other hospitals of that fact?

0:05:04 > 0:05:10the chief medical officer wrote to the other hospitals advising them

0:05:10 > 0:05:14to take the maximum precautions and reminding them of a previous letter

0:05:14 > 0:05:20they had received in 2010. Why did did not say that the baby had died

0:05:20 > 0:05:29and the source was linked to the taps? I think the best person to

0:05:29 > 0:05:33ask about that is the chief medical officer. He has been writing to the

0:05:33 > 0:05:38hospitals to inform them of the need to have maximum hygiene to

0:05:38 > 0:05:42insure it that they minimise the risk of Pseudomonas. Sadly in the

0:05:42 > 0:05:46case of the Royal Jubilee Maternity Hospital, there has been an

0:05:46 > 0:05:50outbreak and the consequences has been that babies have died. Our

0:05:50 > 0:05:54task at this moment is to get on top of that and insure that other

0:05:54 > 0:05:59babies are not infected and we identify the source of the problem

0:05:59 > 0:06:04and that is what we have been doing. But questions have been raised, or

0:06:04 > 0:06:08whether enough has been done. Given that the baby died in up Miguel was

0:06:08 > 0:06:12just before Christmas, it was there not an urgency to tell the other

0:06:12 > 0:06:17hospitals that a baby had died from his back to real infection, the

0:06:17 > 0:06:24source was the taps, you should take a look at your taps. Would

0:06:24 > 0:06:29that have made a difference? 22nd December the source was not

0:06:29 > 0:06:32absolutely conclusive. It was believed to be the taps in that

0:06:32 > 0:06:37area of the hospital that it had happened. So they gave the best

0:06:37 > 0:06:43advice that was available to them at that time. What we're finding

0:06:43 > 0:06:48even currently is that things change our by hour, it is a fluid

0:06:48 > 0:06:53situation. I sought to get all the information out as I have received

0:06:53 > 0:06:57it. Sometimes it later transpires that that changes and these

0:06:57 > 0:07:02situations are fluid. You announced in the Assembly today that

0:07:02 > 0:07:07ultraviolet light taps, new modern task will be fit is that the

0:07:07 > 0:07:11neonatal unit in the Royal. What about the other neonatal units?

0:07:11 > 0:07:16ABBA it also going to get these taps that would kill the infection?

0:07:16 > 0:07:20We will Rooker that case by case, but there is a certain logic to it.

0:07:20 > 0:07:24They are expensive taps but what price do you put on life and

0:07:24 > 0:07:29especially that of vulnerable babies? It is certainly something

0:07:29 > 0:07:35we will be looking at. He made a point of praising the medical staff

0:07:35 > 0:07:40at the hospitals. We have had different reports, people

0:07:40 > 0:07:45criticising hygiene and standards of care. Do you think they could

0:07:45 > 0:07:49have done more to prevent what happened? All of these things will

0:07:49 > 0:07:55be tested in due course. What we have identified is the source of

0:07:55 > 0:08:00the problem as being around the taps. What we need to identify is

0:08:00 > 0:08:05how that happened. More work will be done on that. And we will go

0:08:05 > 0:08:08through all of this thoroughly because it is incumbent upon us to

0:08:08 > 0:08:15do that to ensure that next year and the following year we do not

0:08:15 > 0:08:18have a similar incident. That we ensure it does not happen again.

0:08:18 > 0:08:20A Strabane man has been jailed for life by the Special Criminal Court

0:08:20 > 0:08:23in Dublin for the dissident republican murder of a man four

0:08:23 > 0:08:28years ago. Andrew Burns, who was also from Strabane, was shot twice

0:08:28 > 0:08:31in the back in a church car park in County Donegal. With more details

0:08:31 > 0:08:34on the case here's our Dublin reporter, Jennifer O'Leary.

0:08:34 > 0:08:40The body of Andrew Burns was found by teenagers at this church car

0:08:40 > 0:08:42park at Donnyloop in Castlefin in February 2008. The 27-year-old

0:08:42 > 0:08:46painter and decorator was involved in the dissident republican group,

0:08:46 > 0:08:50Oglaigh na Eireann. So too was the man who had driven him there from

0:08:50 > 0:08:55Strabane, Martin Kelly. He was told to bring Andrew Burns across the

0:08:55 > 0:08:57border for a punishment shooting. Three men were waiting. Martin

0:08:58 > 0:09:02Kelly witnessed the shooting, brought the three men away and

0:09:02 > 0:09:04helped dispose of the murder weapon. The 37-year-old was interviewed by

0:09:05 > 0:09:09officers from the Gardai and the PSNI at a hotel in Ballymena, where

0:09:09 > 0:09:18he admitted what he had done. Martin Kelly also named the others

0:09:18 > 0:09:22involved. Gardai say the investigation is continuing.

0:09:22 > 0:09:27this instance witnesses did come forward and gave excellent evidence.

0:09:27 > 0:09:31The court accepted all their evidence and I would ask people to

0:09:31 > 0:09:34have full confidence in their evidence and the statements will be

0:09:34 > 0:09:37treated totally in confidence. family of Andrew Burns left the

0:09:37 > 0:09:39court today after telling the three judges of the pain and trauma they

0:09:39 > 0:09:43are still suffering, four years after the murder of their brother

0:09:43 > 0:09:47and son. You're watching BBC Newsline, still

0:09:47 > 0:09:53to come on the programme. Why the Irish cricket squad is

0:09:53 > 0:10:03hoping to hit the ICC for six. And we talk to the first Irish

0:10:03 > 0:10:07woman to row across the Atlantic, via webcam from the West Indies.

0:10:07 > 0:10:12Stormont had no police cover for a short time this afternoon when

0:10:12 > 0:10:16officers were withdrawn in an alleged row over where the officers

0:10:16 > 0:10:20are accommodated. Our political Correspondent is here. The a

0:10:20 > 0:10:25authorities are trying to play down this unusual incident but it is

0:10:25 > 0:10:28clear that for a time this afternoon police cover was in deep

0:10:28 > 0:10:31withdrawn from Parliament Buildings. An Assembly spokesperson says the

0:10:31 > 0:10:36Pierson might temporarily remove the officers for operational

0:10:36 > 0:10:40reasons. Other security staff remained at their post. But the

0:10:40 > 0:10:46Ulster Unionist MLA Ross Hussey says it was a fight over

0:10:46 > 0:10:50accommodation. Police officers had been removed from the Rome that

0:10:51 > 0:10:56they had been using for years and moved into a side room. The room

0:10:56 > 0:11:06they had been offered is totally wrong. And we understand that there

0:11:06 > 0:11:06

0:11:06 > 0:11:10are negotiations to try to resolve this. Clearly you would not remove

0:11:10 > 0:11:13them from this building, there are plenty of rooms available.

0:11:13 > 0:11:17spokesperson for the PSNI it said that they are happy with the

0:11:17 > 0:11:21accommodation for the officers deployed here. The assemblies to

0:11:21 > 0:11:26the officers were away from the post for a very short period of

0:11:26 > 0:11:31time. But Mr Hussey said it lasted between three and four hours and he

0:11:31 > 0:11:34intends raising the incident with the chief constable.

0:11:34 > 0:11:37Next to your home, running a car is the biggest expense facing many of

0:11:37 > 0:11:40us. When repairs are not carried out properly, the cost of putting

0:11:40 > 0:11:41them right can run into thousands of pounds. Our consumer

0:11:41 > 0:11:47correspondent, Martin Cassidy, reports on the growing level of

0:11:47 > 0:11:54complaints about botched repairs. He looks at the battle motorists

0:11:54 > 0:12:00face to get their money back and their cars back on the road.

0:12:00 > 0:12:04Pretty horrendous, to be honest. Frightening for the owner. This is

0:12:04 > 0:12:08a forensic engineer at work. In this case he has been called in to

0:12:08 > 0:12:13find out why a replacement gearbox has blown up after just a few miles.

0:12:13 > 0:12:17The owner of the car believes the garage forgot to put oil in a

0:12:17 > 0:12:23replacement part, an error which had catastrophic consequences.

0:12:23 > 0:12:26Armagh Trust appeared -- perfect not appear directly in front of the

0:12:26 > 0:12:32camera but took us on a drive to recreate the moment that the

0:12:32 > 0:12:37gearbox exploded. I have never been so scared in my life. There was a

0:12:37 > 0:12:45massive bang coming from underneath the car. The car lurched forward

0:12:45 > 0:12:51and I was slowing down. I looked in my rear-view mirror to see a piece

0:12:51 > 0:12:54of metal flying up from the back of my car. It is a disturbing memory.

0:12:54 > 0:13:00But the cost of getting the car back on the road is fast becoming

0:13:00 > 0:13:04another nightmare. Not only is she now faced with the bill for

0:13:04 > 0:13:11replacing the gearbox, which have already been replaced, but she also

0:13:11 > 0:13:15now has other damage which has to be paid for. A car of this age,

0:13:15 > 0:13:19we're actually getting close to the value of the car. Complaints about

0:13:19 > 0:13:24shoddy workmanship are on the increase was DUP as cars become

0:13:24 > 0:13:29more complex, some mechanics seemed to be struggling to stay abreast of

0:13:29 > 0:13:33the new technologies. Unfortunately car repairs are a big issue for

0:13:33 > 0:13:37Trading Standards and in the last 12 months we have received at least

0:13:37 > 0:13:411000 complaints in relation to faults in second-hand cars. Of

0:13:41 > 0:13:46those complaints at least one-third have been in relation to car

0:13:46 > 0:13:50repairs and servicing. While garages like this do a good job,

0:13:50 > 0:13:57when problems occur, it time pressure can be a contributing

0:13:57 > 0:14:04factor. The majority of dealers now have the equipment supplied by the

0:14:05 > 0:14:08manufacturer. It is all about fault-finding, where the garage

0:14:08 > 0:14:11present plugs in the diagnostic equipment which gives him a series

0:14:11 > 0:14:18of codes and he den can interpret exactly what the fault is.

0:14:18 > 0:14:22Unfortunately it does not always work. It is still down to the

0:14:22 > 0:14:26professionalism of the mechanic. Whilst consumer law does provide

0:14:27 > 0:14:35protection from motorists, insisting on an accurate fault

0:14:35 > 0:14:38diagnosis and a written quotation The Belfast director Terry George

0:14:38 > 0:14:42is celebrating an Oscar nomination. His short film The Shore was filmed

0:14:42 > 0:14:45near Killough and is one of five films in the live action short

0:14:45 > 0:14:54category. Our arts correspondent, Maggie Taggart, has been speaking

0:14:54 > 0:15:00to the director and one of the stars of the film. Two years ago,

0:15:00 > 0:15:05Terry George accused his own family cottage has a base for The Shore.

0:15:05 > 0:15:09Now the 30 minute film has been nominated for an Oscar. It is the

0:15:09 > 0:15:17story of a man who returns to Northern Ireland from a United

0:15:17 > 0:15:23States, but with a dark secret. my agents and managers of people

0:15:23 > 0:15:29out here cannot believe it. But I told them two years ago, the son,

0:15:29 > 0:15:37but I want to make the short film and they thought I had lost my mind.

0:15:37 > 0:15:45It is great, particularly for the local actors involved. The film

0:15:45 > 0:15:50stars major local actors, including Ciaran Hands and Conleth Hill.

0:15:50 > 0:15:55something so invested with love by the Terry George family, to be made

0:15:55 > 0:16:01with such care, we had a brilliant time making it, and it is a nice

0:16:01 > 0:16:05summation of all that work. other Irish film nominated his

0:16:05 > 0:16:11Pentecost, of which tells the story of an altar boy torn between a

0:16:11 > 0:16:15serving Mass and football. Five short films have been chosen from

0:16:15 > 0:16:19among 107 entries for the award. And that's not all -the Belfast

0:16:19 > 0:16:27born actior Kenneth Brannagh is up for a best supporting actor award

0:16:27 > 0:16:34for his role in My Week with Marylin.

0:16:34 > 0:16:38I have not seen that, and I have so many to see before the results! You

0:16:38 > 0:16:41should be on the judging committee! By would be nice!

0:16:42 > 0:16:45Now Stephen Watson is here with news about Ireland's cricket team

0:16:45 > 0:16:49who are aiming for recognition as one of the sport's elite teams - to

0:16:49 > 0:16:52take part in Test cricket. They've beaten Pakistan and England

0:16:52 > 0:16:56at successive World Cups - now Ireland are applying to the

0:16:56 > 0:16:59International Cricket Council for Test status by the year 2020. As an

0:16:59 > 0:17:08associate member of the ICC, Ireland currently doesn't play the

0:17:08 > 0:17:16full five-day version of the game. Ireland has enjoyed the role of

0:17:16 > 0:17:24underdog in recent years. This is it! As both England and Pakistan

0:17:24 > 0:17:27will testify. But now it wants more. Ireland is currently an associate

0:17:27 > 0:17:33band of international cricket which means it gets to play one-day

0:17:33 > 0:17:36internationals and 2020 games, but not Test matches. An unfortunate

0:17:36 > 0:17:40consequence of their recent successes is that some of the

0:17:40 > 0:17:44team's best players had been Lauder way to get the chance to play Test

0:17:44 > 0:17:49cricket elsewhere. For Cricket Ireland there is only one way to

0:17:49 > 0:17:53get around that. Test cricket is the old what form of the game.

0:17:53 > 0:17:58Unless we aspire to that and tell our players to be as good as they

0:17:58 > 0:18:01can become we are always going to lose our best players to England.

0:18:01 > 0:18:05do not think they are ready yet that within the next four or five

0:18:05 > 0:18:11years, I do nothing they would have a choice. We have a lot are backing

0:18:11 > 0:18:15about the way that we do things and our progress, S so I think that

0:18:15 > 0:18:21five or six years from now a lot of people will be taking note that

0:18:21 > 0:18:25Ireland are pushing for something that they set up six years before.

0:18:25 > 0:18:32But it is a day that may come too late for some of the current

0:18:32 > 0:18:39players. Eight years, 35, will have to wait and see. It is a long way

0:18:39 > 0:18:42away and a lot can happen in that time. It is a great idea for

0:18:42 > 0:18:47Cricket Ireland, gives them something to strive for both on and

0:18:47 > 0:18:53off the field. 28 Fred believes it can afford to become the Test-

0:18:53 > 0:18:57playing nation. -- Cricket Ireland. Big changes to the race schedule at

0:18:57 > 0:19:00this year's International North West 200 were confirmed today. For

0:19:00 > 0:19:04the first time ever there will be racing over two days, with

0:19:04 > 0:19:14additional day-time practice. And a top line up of riders was revealed

0:19:14 > 0:19:14

0:19:15 > 0:19:20for this year's high speed event. The giants of road racing at the

0:19:20 > 0:19:25Giants Causeway. The perfect combination to start the countdown

0:19:25 > 0:19:31to Ireland's biggest and most exciting outdoor sporting event.

0:19:31 > 0:19:38And one of the stars of the show is home-grown. You hear the crowd, it

0:19:38 > 0:19:41is like a big football match. It was really overwhelming and I

0:19:41 > 0:19:48managed to chuck Mike loves the way, forgetting that I had another race

0:19:48 > 0:19:55to go. More practice and racing has gone down well with the big names,

0:19:55 > 0:20:00who cannot wait get back this May. It has a unique place. There is no

0:20:00 > 0:20:04place like it in the world. Such long straights and you have to get

0:20:17 > 0:20:22delighted to come back again. I want be pushing for the race when

0:20:22 > 0:20:24this year. As always, BBC Northern Ireland will have every angle

0:20:25 > 0:20:30covered on the north coast. Planning permission has been

0:20:30 > 0:20:33secured for the first of three sports stadiums. Ravenhill rugby

0:20:43 > 0:20:46

0:20:46 > 0:20:51just over 18,000. Thomas Kane reports.

0:20:51 > 0:20:55The environment minister, Alex Attwood, swapped his sued for an

0:20:55 > 0:21:01all-star would be Jenny as politics and sport came together. These are

0:21:01 > 0:21:06early images of what the new Ravenhill will look like. Ulster

0:21:06 > 0:21:11rugby is on the up and up and we are adding to that story with a 15

0:21:11 > 0:21:16million investment, and 18,000 capacity stadium, two further

0:21:34 > 0:21:37during the war rebuilding process. We will be putting social clauses

0:21:38 > 0:21:43into the contract, particularly for the construction industry at this

0:21:43 > 0:21:47time. It is also good for young people and for the long term

0:21:56 > 0:22:02a development for the GAA and four Soccer and four Rugby and for those

0:22:02 > 0:22:12communities. The increased capacity is key to the future of Ulster.

0:22:17 > 0:22:21tie-up to international we need 18,000. To be competitive with the

0:22:27 > 0:22:32revenue to invest right across the game in Ulster. Work is due to

0:22:32 > 0:22:38start later this year and is planned to be fully completed in

0:22:38 > 0:22:44late 2015. It will look well when it is

0:22:44 > 0:22:47finished. But I cannot see us all rushing to see Alex Attwood in an

0:22:47 > 0:22:50Ulster shirt! Two days after she arrived in

0:22:50 > 0:22:53Barbados at the end of her record breaking row across the Atlantic,

0:22:53 > 0:22:57Kate Richardson from Portadown says she hasn't quite recovered her land

0:22:57 > 0:23:01legs, but is already considering her next challenge. Kate was one of

0:23:01 > 0:23:06a five-woman crew which took 45 days to cross the 3,000 miles from

0:23:06 > 0:23:09the Canaries. They knocked a week off the previous record. The

0:23:09 > 0:23:12amazing thing about Kate is that she had never done any rowing

0:23:12 > 0:23:16before she accepted the Atlantic challenge to raise money for

0:23:16 > 0:23:25charities fighting human trafficking. On a rather dicey

0:23:25 > 0:23:29webcam from Barbados, I asked her to sum up her experience. Through I

0:23:29 > 0:23:36don't think you can put it into words. I'm still considering what

0:23:36 > 0:23:42is the best way to describe it. Complete the overwhelming, horrific,

0:23:42 > 0:23:49exciting, breathtaking, a once-in- a-lifetime experience. Carlos the

0:23:49 > 0:23:54highlights and a low lights. Gosh! The best moment for me was when we

0:23:54 > 0:23:58got a continuous updates of our progress. At the beginning Luan

0:23:58 > 0:24:05fine across a where overtaking or the other boats so that was a real

0:24:05 > 0:24:09motivation. Three were mileage had come down further and further and

0:24:10 > 0:24:16we were getting closer and closer to land and there was a real

0:24:16 > 0:24:21motivation. Also, seeing dolphins was amazing. The whole crossing had

0:24:21 > 0:24:25been fairly quiet and we had not seem much wildlife and then all of

0:24:25 > 0:24:34a sudden we saw these dolphins jumped out of the seat and circle

0:24:34 > 0:24:39around about. The worst moment? There was a time early on when

0:24:39 > 0:24:44there were a lot of technical problems and it was in very high

0:24:44 > 0:24:51seas and stormy and I was still trying to adjust to the sea. I did

0:24:51 > 0:24:58not have any Asian experience. So to have to deal with the technical

0:24:58 > 0:25:03problems in a stormy sea was quite scary. You had not done any rain

0:25:03 > 0:25:13before this adventure. You have been at sea for seven weeks. Are

0:25:13 > 0:25:13

0:25:13 > 0:25:17you ever going to row again? I took up rowing as soon as I said yes to

0:25:17 > 0:25:25this challenge. To be honest, I'd really love it. I would like to

0:25:25 > 0:25:29continue rowing when I get back home. Ocean rowing? Maybe in a few

0:25:29 > 0:25:34years' time I would like to do it again. I would like to see what I

0:25:34 > 0:25:40can do to make a better and make it faster. Who knows what is in store.

0:25:40 > 0:25:44What is your next challenge? Gosh, the girls have already been talking

0:25:44 > 0:25:50about it. Even when we were on the boat we were taught about what we

0:25:50 > 0:26:00would do next, which is crazy. We are talking about doing a possible

0:26:00 > 0:26:02

0:26:02 > 0:26:07cycling route, cycling through all the trafficking areas. The nine-to-

0:26:07 > 0:26:15five job will just have to wait. Yes, it is looking that way! Thanks

0:26:15 > 0:26:24for a much. She is great, she has a real can-do attitude. Let us get

0:26:24 > 0:26:30We have had another mild date but winter has not left to us even

0:26:30 > 0:26:34though there are signs of spring around. We are expecting quite cold

0:26:34 > 0:26:39and wintry weather later this week. Today there has been a steady

0:26:39 > 0:26:43stream of cloud moving in from the Atlantic. It will stay around

0:26:43 > 0:26:49tonight and it does mean chances of catching the Northern Lights

0:26:49 > 0:26:55tonight are very limited. Tomorrow, if things are still good as far as

0:26:55 > 0:26:58the magnetic forces are concerned, the skies will be clearer. We have

0:26:58 > 0:27:05damp and drizzly weather to come tonight. Temperatures not much

0:27:05 > 0:27:10lower than 819 degrees. This bunch of rain sitting at Atlantic will

0:27:10 > 0:27:17come our way tomorrow. It is moving in from the West End East and the

0:27:17 > 0:27:21winds are increasing as well. Not quite as mild as today with the

0:27:21 > 0:27:27strengthening southerly winds and then the rain. The rain will make

0:27:27 > 0:27:37its way over Easter errors by the afternoon. Temperatures of around

0:27:37 > 0:27:42nine or ten degrees. By 3pm, it is raining heavily across Antrim and

0:27:42 > 0:27:47down through Belfast. Strong and gusty winds. The rain starts to

0:27:47 > 0:27:52lesson in the West and as that happens, towards evening,

0:27:52 > 0:27:56temperatures will start to fall. So, as the rain clears away, there may

0:27:56 > 0:28:01be a little bit of sleet and snow. Tomorrow night, temperatures fall
