:00:22. > :00:27.Per Good evening. This is BBC Newsline with Donna Traynor and

:00:27. > :00:35.Noel Thompson.. A pilot has a lucky escape as this aircraft crashes in

:00:35. > :00:39.a field in County Down. Amanda eyes at his home.

:00:39. > :00:44.A big drop in the number of older people getting meals-on-wheels. We

:00:44. > :00:49.ask why? Red faces at the to respond as a

:00:49. > :00:54.brochure puts a bit of Tyrone and Fermanagh.

:00:54. > :00:59.He joined we live at the Odyssey arena worthy Belfast Jains are

:00:59. > :01:07.hoping to skate away some silverware. -- are hoping.

:01:07. > :01:11.It could be about icy in places tonight.

:01:11. > :01:17.First do that lucky escape for the pilot of a light aircraft in County

:01:17. > :01:25.Down. The man's plane came down and Kilkeel in Co Down. The pilot was

:01:25. > :01:35.taken to hospital and is said to be in a stable condition.

:01:35. > :01:35.

:01:35. > :01:39.Good evening. It and 50-year-old pilot tried to land behind.

:01:39. > :01:44.Unfortunately he miss the landing strip and landed on a building site

:01:44. > :01:49.at the end of it. One man who sought a happening was Conor Cole

:01:49. > :01:54.and he is with me now. Tell me what you stop? I was at the foot of a

:01:54. > :02:00.club and I looked up and sold their aeroplane coming down. I saw a

:02:00. > :02:06.waving about there. All I could hear next was a bang. I looked and

:02:06. > :02:10.I walk down to see what I could do. Then this man tried to get across.

:02:10. > :02:15.He could not get across from the Rev R. If the weather had an

:02:15. > :02:24.atrocious at this point? howling wind and rain. It was

:02:24. > :02:31.lashing down. The accident investigation unit told us that

:02:31. > :02:36.they were aware of the ascendant. They are going to pursue a bit with

:02:36. > :02:41.a pilot who is in a comfortable position. A stable position in

:02:41. > :02:46.hospital. -- the incident. A pensioner has died in a house

:02:46. > :02:50.fire in County Antrim. It happened at his home between Ballymoney and

:02:50. > :02:58.Dervock. Forensic teams would continue to

:02:58. > :03:02.look through the charred remains at the house late this afternoon. The

:03:02. > :03:06.emergency services were called to these two semi-detached houses at

:03:06. > :03:15.around 8 o'clock last night. It is believed the fire started in this

:03:15. > :03:20.one where a man and his -- in his 60s lived alone. He died in the

:03:20. > :03:26.blaze but their neighbours were able to alert the man next door.

:03:26. > :03:35.heard this battering on the window. Next door is on fire. The room was

:03:35. > :03:40.full of smoke. We tried to fight our way into next door. The flames

:03:40. > :03:44.pulled us back. They is all that is left of his bedroom. The fire

:03:44. > :03:48.ripped through the ceiling from next door and has destroyed where

:03:48. > :03:52.he would have slept. This is all that is left of the wall as you

:03:52. > :03:58.come up the stairs and the smell of smoke is still second the air. He

:03:58. > :04:08.has had a very lucky escape. With a heat the kitchen window smashed.

:04:08. > :04:09.

:04:09. > :04:18.With a wind last night, it was engulfed in flames. I think the

:04:18. > :04:25.poor man had passed away before that anyway. It was just silence.

:04:25. > :04:29.Because of the fire is still not known. -- because.

:04:29. > :04:33.The number of elderly and vulnerable people having a meal

:04:33. > :04:38.delivered to their home has dropped dramatically. In one health trust,

:04:38. > :04:42.the figure has fallen by 76%. Stormont's Health Committee says it

:04:42. > :04:46.wants to know why fewer people are using the service. Is it their

:04:46. > :04:50.rising cost, on attaining of the roles that entitle people to meals-

:04:50. > :04:55.on-wheels? For some people, the meals-on-

:04:55. > :04:59.wheels service provided by the five health trusts is the only

:04:59. > :05:05.nutritional lifeline they have. But despite an ageing population, it

:05:05. > :05:10.has emerged that fewer people are now receiving a lifeline. In 2007,

:05:10. > :05:16.almost 7,000 men and women receive meals. That figure has now fallen

:05:16. > :05:20.by around 36% to just over 4,000. Part of the reason could be cost.

:05:20. > :05:24.In these stringent times, all of the health trusts must save money.

:05:24. > :05:28.Some are prepared to save more money than others by not

:05:28. > :05:32.subsidising their meals quite as much. Each health trust has been

:05:32. > :05:38.told by the Department of Health it must charge of high 50p per meal.

:05:38. > :05:48.But it has emerged that that cost varies from one area to another. --

:05:48. > :06:05.

:06:05. > :06:09.The criteria used by each of the trust to determine who is eligible

:06:09. > :06:13.for the service differs. While in Belfast there has been a small

:06:13. > :06:23.increase, in the southern trust figures have dramatically fallen by

:06:23. > :06:24.

:06:24. > :06:29.around 77%. It is not acceptable. Someone

:06:29. > :06:35.saying in their Northern Trust is entitled to the same as someone

:06:35. > :06:38.staying in the Southern Trust. My concern is that the Department has

:06:38. > :06:42.sent out a circular telling the trusts that they should only charge

:06:42. > :06:49.a certain amount of money and three of that the five trusts have

:06:49. > :06:53.ignored that. Healthcare is under a review.

:06:53. > :06:57.According to the recently published review in the future, there will be

:06:57. > :07:02.few if any residential homes for the elderly. Some people believe

:07:02. > :07:06.that will place even greater demand on the meals-on-wheels service.

:07:06. > :07:11.have to be assessing people on the basis of need not the ability to

:07:11. > :07:15.pay or the criteria being tightened and tighten so less people

:07:15. > :07:19.accessing this service. And I think that is the worrying trend with

:07:19. > :07:23.this, we are squeezing the resources that we do have much too

:07:24. > :07:27.tightly. According to some of the health trusts to appear before the

:07:27. > :07:31.committee, fewer people may be a villain of the server does duty

:07:31. > :07:35.alternatives such as ready meals or an increase in the number of older

:07:35. > :07:38.people being supported by their families.

:07:38. > :07:46.A man from Newtonabbey who stabbed his estranged wife to death has

:07:46. > :07:54.been jailed for life. Gerard O'Kane admitted to murdering Anne O'Kane

:07:54. > :07:57.in May. Gardai and County Kildare are

:07:58. > :08:03.investigating the murder of two men by gunman who forced their way into

:08:03. > :08:10.a house. One of them was in his late teens and a foreign national,

:08:10. > :08:14.the other was Irish and in his thirties.

:08:14. > :08:20.Relatives of the two young soldier shot dead at NASA main army

:08:20. > :08:28.barracks where Anandan today for the unveiling of a new memorial. --

:08:28. > :08:32.mass and been barracks. They braved the early spring

:08:32. > :08:36.weather to make their way through their centre abandon this morning.

:08:36. > :08:40.Catholics and Protestants coming together for a cross community

:08:40. > :08:50.service to remember Patrick Azimkar and Mark Quinsey. They were shot

:08:50. > :08:51.

:08:51. > :08:56.dead and six others wounded when the Real IRA attacked Ms Barrett's.

:08:56. > :09:05.As the lone piper played, Rhesus were laid. And then a new memorial

:09:05. > :09:10.stone was unveiled. As relatives of the two murdered soldiers looked on.

:09:10. > :09:18.It is supposed to get easier every year but it does not. But seeing

:09:18. > :09:22.how many people have come out and have come to support us, it has

:09:22. > :09:28.given me a lot. I cannot say how thankful we are. While the families

:09:28. > :09:38.of the six soldiers killed in Afghanistan tonight come to grips

:09:38. > :09:48.with their loss. You are watching BBC Newsline.

:09:48. > :09:50.

:09:50. > :09:55.Still to come: I am in Dublin when it Ireland take on Scotland.

:09:55. > :10:00.For a manner is big enough, so why did it steal a bit of Tyrone? --

:10:00. > :10:05.for a man. The finance Ministers Samuelson

:10:05. > :10:09.says the UK Treasury should not allow its concerns over Scottish

:10:09. > :10:16.independence to influence his decision on allowing Stormont is

:10:16. > :10:19.set a minimum of corporation tax. Mr Wilson said Northern Ireland had

:10:19. > :10:25.urgent priorities of its own with regard to attracting inward

:10:25. > :10:31.investment. We cannot wait for a decision on

:10:31. > :10:35.what happens in Scotland. This must be regarded as if the Government is

:10:35. > :10:41.serious about helping us re-balance the economy in Northern Ireland,

:10:41. > :10:44.this has to be regarded as an issue of great importance. There

:10:44. > :10:48.Nationalists and Scotland are no political issue. This working group

:10:48. > :10:53.has been set up independently and following on from the successful

:10:53. > :10:58.consultation in which we Gozzer to 5% of the 700 responses massively

:10:58. > :11:05.in favour. We have gotten a grip of all the main organisations onside.

:11:05. > :11:11.We have all five political parties on side. You have not got that one

:11:11. > :11:18.part -- on it in Scotland. There are concerns about attracting

:11:18. > :11:24.so business from outside Ireland. Agricultural is staging a bit of a

:11:24. > :11:31.recovery with buoyant cattle prices and rising income. Martin Cassidy

:11:31. > :11:36.has been to this week's National Beef Association event in Dungannon.

:11:36. > :11:40.They may not be making too much noise about it, but farmers are

:11:40. > :11:45.witnessing any economic recovery and a booming demand for cattle.

:11:45. > :11:52.There is generally a world shortage of food. There are ambassadors from

:11:52. > :11:58.each country. We need to supply and we continue to increase the level

:11:58. > :12:08.of supply. We will not need all those targets. They is a long time

:12:08. > :12:09.

:12:09. > :12:17.since farmers felt as good as this. Now a last they are back. We have

:12:17. > :12:22.just had a show in Oban. We did tremendous trade. A third of the

:12:22. > :12:27.animals went abroad. Including Switzerland, Italy, Estonia,

:12:27. > :12:33.Germany, Fin land. There is more contact with Europe if so we are

:12:33. > :12:39.buoyant. It is like the beef trade. Comparing for a -- competing for a

:12:39. > :12:43.share in the beef market a whole variety of breeds. Some suited to

:12:43. > :12:49.upland pastures, others with a solid reputation for again and she

:12:50. > :12:55.a solid mateyness. The income in all shapes and sizes. None bigger

:12:55. > :12:59.than this bill that it weighs in at over a ton. Amazing when you think

:12:59. > :13:03.he is less than three years old. have money in their pockets,

:13:03. > :13:07.farmers can be persuaded to spend. And that will help spread the

:13:07. > :13:14.recovery through the wider economy. The weather may still be called,

:13:14. > :13:22.but the green shoots of recovery are clear to see the spring.

:13:22. > :13:26.Puts me in that mood for a big stake there.

:13:26. > :13:31.A programme to help young people in a disadvantaged area of Newtonabbey

:13:31. > :13:34.has had a major cash injection. Monk in turn has a higher rate of

:13:34. > :13:39.unemployment and many young people drop out of school without

:13:39. > :13:48.qualifications. But a boxing club is helping that with a big brand

:13:48. > :13:51.These young men are determined to make a better life for themselves.

:13:51. > :13:56.Monkstown has a high level of disadvantage where educational

:13:56. > :13:59.attainment is low and many young people drop out of school without

:13:59. > :14:04.any qualifications. Here at the local boxing club, a scheme aimed

:14:04. > :14:09.at taking them off the streets and giving them opportunities is

:14:09. > :14:13.helping. The boxing end of it, teaches them self-esteem,

:14:13. > :14:17.discipline. It teaches them to become aware, you know, of

:14:17. > :14:23.themselves, and what they are capable of doing. And this makes a

:14:23. > :14:28.big difference. These teenagers train four to five times a week,

:14:29. > :14:34.they box, train in sport and get life learning skills. They say it

:14:34. > :14:38.has given them the confidence to aim high. Well I like it, it keeps

:14:38. > :14:45.you off the street. I learn respect and discipline. I like it because

:14:45. > :14:50.it gets you out of the house. plan to win a gold medal. I just

:14:50. > :14:54.hope to be in the professional boxing some time. Up until now,

:14:54. > :15:00.Monkstown boxing club has been running vul -- voluntarily but

:15:00. > :15:06.today's announcement this club will get almost 378,000 from the big

:15:06. > :15:09.Lottery Fund means other local youngsters will benefit. Hopefully

:15:09. > :15:14.champions of the future. The Princess Royal has been in Northern

:15:14. > :15:20.Ireland for a series of engagements today. Her visit started at the

:15:20. > :15:24.Pony Club national conference in Belfast. She met pupils from

:15:24. > :15:29.Sullivan Upper and another school at Hollywood library. There she

:15:29. > :15:35.witnessed a special science demonstration. She asked if we did

:15:35. > :15:41.the project and we said who helped us. Really nice. Scary a bit.

:15:41. > :15:46.Pretty neat. When she talked to us, it was easier to talk to her.

:15:46. > :15:50.Amazing, but, really nervous as well. The reaction has been

:15:50. > :15:55.positive. They are very excited as you can see and they have enjoyed

:15:55. > :15:59.having her look at all the things and experiments they have been

:15:59. > :16:05.doing. The Belfast Giants are chasing silverware at the odyssey

:16:05. > :16:08.tonight. Steven Watson is there for us. Good evening Steven. Yes, good

:16:08. > :16:11.evening. The Belfast Giants are having a fantastic season, they are

:16:11. > :16:16.still in the hunt for three trophy, including tonight, they will be on

:16:16. > :16:21.Challenge Cup final and we will look ahead to the big game in a

:16:21. > :16:24.moment. But first tonight, we hear from to giants of Irish rugby,

:16:24. > :16:29.Tommy Bowe who last night confirmed that he will be coming back to play

:16:29. > :16:33.rugby in Ulster at the end of this season, and Ulster's Rory Best who

:16:33. > :16:37.will Captain Ireland against Scotland, in the Six Nations

:16:37. > :16:42.championship in the absence of the injured skipper Paul O'Connell.

:16:42. > :16:46.Niall Foster is with the squad in Dublin. This morning Rory Best

:16:46. > :16:49.trained alongside his team-mates in preparation for Saturday's clash

:16:49. > :16:54.against Scotland. But this afternoon, all the attention was on

:16:54. > :16:58.the Ulster man, as he was announced as Ireland captain. I think there

:16:58. > :17:02.is no doubt that any time you get to captain your country, like I say

:17:02. > :17:08.you must be doing something right. There is a lot of hard work goes

:17:08. > :17:12.into every one of our squads but the higher up you go the more the

:17:12. > :17:17.margin for error is reduced. You have to put in the hard work, and

:17:17. > :17:23.you know and hope it pays off on the day. I feel honoured to be

:17:23. > :17:27.sitting at captain as the Irish team. Not only will he lead Ireland

:17:27. > :17:31.out on Saturday he will equal the record of 58 caps for a Irish

:17:31. > :17:35.hooker. He would be a shoe in to do it and provided he was fit, there

:17:35. > :17:39.is no better man, his performance of the last 12 months haz has been

:17:39. > :17:44.phenomenal. He has been a fantastic servant for Ireland so far.

:17:44. > :17:48.Especially the last 12 months he seems to be getting better. That

:17:48. > :17:54.applies to the latest recruit who today couldn't hide his le light

:17:54. > :17:58.about playing again for next season. It is my home club, I have enjoyed

:17:58. > :18:02.my almost four years over in Wales with the ospreys, but you know,

:18:02. > :18:06.Ulster are the team I grew up wanted to -- wanting to play. Came

:18:06. > :18:11.through the academy, I am excited getting back there, I think that

:18:11. > :18:15.are going places, and it is an exciting couple of years ahead.

:18:15. > :18:25.meantime Tom India Rory will be answering Ireland's call here at

:18:25. > :18:27.the stadium on Saturday. There was a big game at Ravenhill this

:18:27. > :18:31.afternoon, Methodist College Belfast booked their place in the

:18:32. > :18:35.schools Cup Final. They beat Campbell College by 18 points to

:18:36. > :18:42.eight in the semifinal. It was close until half-time but Med

:18:42. > :18:50.didominated the second half and ran in three tries. The first by Elliot

:18:50. > :18:57.Mooney. Rudolph ber naid and Chris grey si booked two more. This year

:18:57. > :19:00.the final is on Monday 19th March. Now to the big night here in the

:19:00. > :19:04.Odyssey reenna. The Belfast Giants take on the Nottingham Panthers in

:19:04. > :19:09.the first leg of the Challenge Cup final. The giants are having a year

:19:09. > :19:13.to remember. Some down to a star player with famous sporting name.

:19:13. > :19:19.At this point you might very well be asking yourself, what this has

:19:19. > :19:25.to do with ice hockey. Well, Brazil had the one and only Pele, Belfast

:19:25. > :19:29.is now claiming its only. E with 2 is goals in 41 game, New Yorker

:19:29. > :19:35.John Pele is one of the stars of the Elite League. I have had ups

:19:35. > :19:41.and down, I have had my slumps, I am starting to find my game here.

:19:41. > :19:47.Scoring a lot of goals. If I can contribute to some wins I will be

:19:47. > :19:50.happy. Pele's enthusiasm has brought attention o the Belfasts in

:19:50. > :19:54.a record breaking campaign. loves the game and loves being

:19:54. > :19:59.round his team-mates. He enjoys playing hockey. When you that and

:19:59. > :20:08.you have a fun loving smile on your face when you come on the ring

:20:08. > :20:13.attitude, it is infectious. We have a deep team. We don't have too many

:20:13. > :20:17.weakness, I am one of the pieces of the puzzles. We haven't won

:20:17. > :20:25.anything yet. That is the reason I came was to win championships. And

:20:25. > :20:29.with three trophies up for grabs it is no wonder the coach is smiling.

:20:29. > :20:34.Joining me live here is the Belfast Giants general manager. Could this

:20:34. > :20:37.be the best season ever for the Belfast Giants? It could be, if we

:20:37. > :20:41.can win the trophies we are still in line for, we have the Challenge

:20:41. > :20:45.Cup first leg tonight. We are still in the hunt for the league, and I

:20:45. > :20:48.mean, that will be decided on the 16th 17th March and the play-offs

:20:48. > :20:53.after that. There is a lot of potential this year. Eight points

:20:53. > :20:57.clear at the top of the Elite League with five games to go. Is

:20:57. > :21:01.that the main focus, the big one? The league is the big one, you have

:21:01. > :21:05.to switch focus to the Challenge Cup tonight. It is one of those

:21:05. > :21:11.things a lot of teams wish they were in the same position as us.

:21:11. > :21:15.Tonight we have to concentrate on the cup. The first game they played

:21:15. > :21:20.was way back in the year 2000. 12 seasons on, you in better health

:21:20. > :21:23.than ever on and off the ice? Absolutely. Without getting into it,

:21:23. > :21:27.we are healthier off the ice and things are going really we it has

:21:27. > :21:32.gone from strength to strength. We have had great crowds, we have had

:21:32. > :21:36.just over 5,000 last three or four week, so it is, the crowds seem to

:21:36. > :21:41.pick up at the end of the season. We hope to pack them in. The crowds

:21:41. > :21:44.would love to see some trophies. No pressure! We are in this position

:21:44. > :21:48.last year. The team this year are hungryier and that is all they are

:21:48. > :21:52.talking about. All they have been talking about for weeks is the

:21:52. > :21:55.league and let's win championships. We usually don't have that much

:21:55. > :21:58.positive focus on what we are trying to do here. You have a

:21:58. > :22:02.player called pel lai, it won't be a problem! We will have highlights

:22:02. > :22:08.from the game on tomorrow night's programme and you can listen to

:22:08. > :22:15.live commentary on the BBC sports website. Healthier off the ice rink.

:22:16. > :22:20.I wonder what they are up to there! There are many reasons why people

:22:20. > :22:23.visit County Fermanagh. The Clogher Valley Show isn't necessarily one

:22:23. > :22:30.of them although according to a leaflet the event is the only one

:22:30. > :22:36.in the County. Hold on, the show is in Augher and that is in Tyrone.

:22:36. > :22:41.Our journalist reports this mistake has led to accusations the County

:22:42. > :22:47.is being ignored when it comes to promotion. The lakeland County.

:22:47. > :22:50.Thousands come here, attracted by the sailing, fishing, or the

:22:50. > :22:54.subterranean splendour of the Marble Arch Kayes. Burr the next

:22:54. > :22:59.time tourist chiefs head down the motorway from Belfast, they may

:22:59. > :23:04.want to bring a map with them. As Fermanagh is a bit further than

:23:04. > :23:07.they think. The mistake on the leaflet produced by the Northern

:23:07. > :23:14.Ireland Tourist Board has reinforced a few held by some that

:23:14. > :23:19.not enough is done to promote the County. The highlight this year is

:23:19. > :23:25.Titanic, and the causeway and the gulf, you hear very little else,

:23:25. > :23:31.but we keep pushing it, that they will remember that the lake lands

:23:31. > :23:34.are part of Northern Ireland, and need to be promoted. And there is

:23:34. > :23:40.plenty happening in Fermanagh which could have been included on the

:23:40. > :23:45.events list. Such as the first international festival celebrating

:23:45. > :23:50.the author Samuel Beckett. He went to school here, so a lot of the

:23:50. > :23:54.venues used for the festival will be in and round Enniskillen. It

:23:55. > :23:59.will celebrate the work of Beckett through drama, comedy music and

:24:00. > :24:05.also sport, so we are looking forward to that, and hopefully it

:24:05. > :24:09.will attract a good local audience as well as an international visitor

:24:09. > :24:15.too. As the Clogher Valley Show caravan park there is agreement

:24:15. > :24:19.that more needs to be done to promote the area. It is hard enough

:24:19. > :24:22.to keep the County Tyrone name up and running. We have the largest

:24:22. > :24:28.one day show coming up which has been here for a number of years. It

:24:28. > :24:31.is disappointing for the local people to see it has been called

:24:31. > :24:36.County Fermanagh. It is County Tyrone, that is where it will stay.

:24:36. > :24:42.The Tourist Board have said that further planned leaflets for this

:24:42. > :24:47.weekend will contain an event for Fermanagh, the Beckett festival and

:24:47. > :24:51.will list the correct location of the Clogher Valley Show. They

:24:51. > :24:55.apologise and assure the organisers is aware the Tourist Board is aware

:24:55. > :24:59.of the location of the vent. The Clogher Valley Show is billed as

:24:59. > :25:02.the largest one day a churl show in Ireland. It will be held here on

:25:03. > :25:12.the last Wednesday in July, but if you end up in Fermanagh, you have

:25:13. > :25:15.

:25:15. > :25:25.probably missed it. -- agricultural P I guess whole idea is you bring

:25:25. > :25:28.

:25:28. > :25:31.people and then they go to Tyrone. Any way, weatherwise, cold one day,

:25:31. > :25:36.at least we had more sunshine than yesterday, but that was really the

:25:36. > :25:40.end of the good new, because as promised, we had that cold gusty

:25:40. > :25:45.wind, and that wind did bring pretty interesting shower clouds,

:25:45. > :25:50.this rather ominous looking feature was paragraphed over the mountains

:25:50. > :25:57.near Ballycastle. We had another one many looking wintry and

:25:57. > :26:00.thundery. The extent of the showers extend across Ireland up into the

:26:00. > :26:05.west of Scotland. They were more frequent in the north and west but

:26:05. > :26:12.the strength of the wind means a few get across to the east. A few

:26:12. > :26:17.of them were reporting hail, sleet and above two to three hundred

:26:17. > :26:20.metres there will have been some snow. There still will be a few

:26:20. > :26:24.showers of hail and hill snow for a time, so there could be a dusting

:26:24. > :26:29.of over the hills. Eventually through the night they will tend to

:26:29. > :26:32.ease off, or at least turn back to rain. Clear spells start to develop

:26:33. > :26:38.inland, so the temperatures are dropping close to freezing, and

:26:38. > :26:41.given that some of the surfaces could be damp and we have one or

:26:41. > :26:44.two showers, that could give icy patches but hopefully that isn't

:26:44. > :26:49.going to be a widespread problem. Either way it's a chilly start to

:26:49. > :26:52.the day tomorrow. It will end up milder, and it is going to be

:26:52. > :26:58.mainly dry. Some patches of rain in the north and north-west to get rid

:26:58. > :27:01.of. Probably during the morning rush hour. To leave mainly dry

:27:01. > :27:07.conditions. The cloud will be a sticking point tomorrow,

:27:07. > :27:12.particularly across Fermanagh, Tyrone, up into Londonderry. The

:27:12. > :27:17.best chance of aify bright intervals, sheltered parts of

:27:17. > :27:21.Antrim and temperature, where ever you are they get up to ten or 11.

:27:21. > :27:26.We will still have a noticeable wind tomorrow. That breeze stays us

:27:26. > :27:30.with tomorrow night, fairly cloudy skies so much miler tomorrow.

:27:30. > :27:34.Probably sitting round eight or nine. A bit of dampness in the air.

:27:34. > :27:37.It is still cloudy and breezy on Friday. We have damp weather that

:27:37. > :27:43.will move in during the afternoon. Once it clears it is drewer with

:27:43. > :27:49.lighter winds, still a lot of cloud but hopefully a few bright spells

:27:49. > :27:52.from time to time. A reminder of the main news. A plane trying to

:27:52. > :27:58.land at an airstrip in County Down has crashed into a building site.

:27:58. > :28:02.It is believed the pilot's injuries are not life-threatening. And in

:28:02. > :28:07.national news tonight, six soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan, as

:28:07. > :28:12.the biggest loss of British life there for six years. Our late
