:00:00. > :00:00.Mikaeel Kular's community. That's

:00:00. > :00:28.Good evening. The headlines on BBC Newsline: Almost 100 jobs are lost

:00:29. > :00:32.at Mivan construction, but elsewhere in County Antrim, Wrightbus winds a

:00:33. > :00:34.major contract. The First Minister accuses Martin

:00:35. > :00:40.McGuinness of talking nonsense, acting irrationally and playing mind

:00:41. > :00:46.games. It is just crazy stuff. I think we really need to get some

:00:47. > :00:49.sense into the situation. A pensioner is recovering in

:00:50. > :00:51.hospital after he's shot in the chest by a masked man near

:00:52. > :00:54.Ballycastle. The prospect of striking gold in the

:00:55. > :00:57.Tyrone hills causes a deep rift in the local community.

:00:58. > :01:01.Ulster make two changes for their European Cup showdown with

:01:02. > :01:11.Leicester. And it may not be the best weekends. There is more cool

:01:12. > :01:14.and wet weather on the way. Almost 100 workers at the Antrim

:01:15. > :01:22.construction firm Mivan have been made redundant. That is about one

:01:23. > :01:25.third of the workforce. The company, which won many business awards over

:01:26. > :01:30.the past two decades, was put into administration last week. Our

:01:31. > :01:37.economics and Business Editor is at Mivan's headquarters. Tell us more

:01:38. > :01:42.about what happened there this morning. 98 members of staff today

:01:43. > :01:46.were told they were losing their jobs. That is because some of the

:01:47. > :01:50.contracts have been cancelled, which is what commonly happens in a

:01:51. > :01:54.business goes into administration. Two thirds of workers still have

:01:55. > :01:59.their jobs and will be back here and Monday morning at the administrator

:02:00. > :02:04.tries to find a buyer for this business. -- business. Mivan has

:02:05. > :02:10.been a successful company with contracts overseas. What went wrong?

:02:11. > :02:15.It was a contract in Romania that was the undoing of his company.

:02:16. > :02:19.There were two attacks, and between them, they lost to the company at up

:02:20. > :02:25.to the company at up to ?2 million. -- two contracts. The company had to

:02:26. > :02:29.eventually go into administration. I am told there are parts of the

:02:30. > :02:37.business but are attractive to potential buyers and that error also

:02:38. > :02:40.potential contracts in the future. Just up the road in Ballymena a

:02:41. > :02:47.successful firm was celebrating again today. Wrightbus has won the

:02:48. > :02:51.lion's share of a ?70 million contract for one of the UK's biggest

:02:52. > :02:58.transport firms. Wrightbus is best known for making the so-called Boris

:02:59. > :03:03.bus. This latest order involves a different type of innovation. The

:03:04. > :03:08.bus looks like any other, but it uses what is called micro-hybrid

:03:09. > :03:12.technology. Energy recovered from the braking system power things like

:03:13. > :03:18.onboard electronics for stop eight cuts overall fuel consumption by

:03:19. > :03:29.about -- electronics. It cuts several Phuc consumption by 10%. The

:03:30. > :03:35.local MP says the order recognises the skill of the Ballymena

:03:36. > :03:41.workforce. I am really delighted for the company, and it is another

:03:42. > :03:45.success and another feather in the cab of Wrightbus. Wrightbus will

:03:46. > :03:52.deliver the Eagles and the next few months, with all of them expected to

:03:53. > :03:55.be in service by next year. -- the vehicle. The manufacturing sector as

:03:56. > :03:59.a whole is smaller than it was before the recession, but it is

:04:00. > :04:03.recovering. Official figures out next week should show the extent

:04:04. > :04:09.about recovery. Per a taste of the kind of developments that might help

:04:10. > :04:14.economic recovery, there is another Wrightbus project on the way in the

:04:15. > :04:18.south of England. -- for a taste. Charging plates will be built into

:04:19. > :04:26.the road, and indication of where this company is going next. What

:04:27. > :04:31.we've seen today is a stark contrast between two parts of the economy.

:04:32. > :04:35.Mivan in the construction sector was really hit by a hangover of debt

:04:36. > :04:38.from the years of boom and bust. Meanwhile, Wrightbus an innovative

:04:39. > :04:45.manufacturer, is well placed to benefit from any upswing in the

:04:46. > :04:48.global economy. Peter Robinson has accused Martin

:04:49. > :04:50.McGuinness of talking nonsense, acting irrationally and playing mind

:04:51. > :04:54.games. The First Minister was reacting to Deputy First Minister's

:04:55. > :04:57.remarks on the BBC last night. The two top ministers are showing

:04:58. > :05:00.frustration with each other as the deadlock over the Haass proposals on

:05:01. > :05:04.flags, parading and the past deepens.

:05:05. > :05:11.There is some flash photography in this report.

:05:12. > :05:15.Side-by-side in perfect harmony just days ago. Peter Robinson and Martin

:05:16. > :05:21.McGuinness have no trouble smiling for the cameras at public events to

:05:22. > :05:25.promote Ireland's historic records. Just do not mention the Haas talks.

:05:26. > :05:31.Last night, the Deputy First Minister showed his frustration on a

:05:32. > :05:37.BBC programme. I am fed up hearing that the public out there, who

:05:38. > :05:41.deserve better, are disgusted with their politicians and feel we cannot

:05:42. > :05:50.agree on anything. Martin McGuinness said the problem was with unionism.

:05:51. > :05:54.The political excellence of unit -- are unionism. They agree with my

:05:55. > :06:02.analysis that, in the city of Belfast, the groups are all the same

:06:03. > :06:07.thing, and they have been hostile to the process in the course of recent

:06:08. > :06:14.years. And a rational attack on unionism, according to the First

:06:15. > :06:19.Minister. -- and a rational attack. Is Martin McGuinness telling me that

:06:20. > :06:26.there are members of the UBS that are some weight associated with --

:06:27. > :06:31.that are in some way associated with that group and are taking

:06:32. > :06:34.instructions from them? It is crazy stuff. He suggested that Martin

:06:35. > :06:42.McGuinness might be feeling the political pressure. It is very

:06:43. > :06:49.unethical for someone to take the pain out of the grenade in this

:06:50. > :06:54.critical stage. A Belfast Orange man who was part of the Haas talks team

:06:55. > :07:00.claims Martin McGuinness was talking nonsense. I think Martin McGuinness

:07:01. > :07:05.has felt this way for quite some time now. Nomad or how he tries to

:07:06. > :07:11.embellish it, it is still a lie. -- no matter. At this protest camp, all

:07:12. > :07:19.shades of unionism have united ever a band parade and they take a

:07:20. > :07:24.different view. You have figures from the Orange Order and DUP

:07:25. > :07:31.politicians, all applauding the same speeches. What McGuinness is getting

:07:32. > :07:36.at is not that they are all members of the same organisation, but they

:07:37. > :07:40.have a common cause. What is the view from inside the camp? I am

:07:41. > :07:46.disgusted by being called eight -- an extremist by Martin McGuinness,

:07:47. > :07:50.with his party president background. That is ridiculous. The extremists

:07:51. > :07:59.are across the road. This worker with his party's -- with his

:08:00. > :08:05.party's background. So, plenty for the party leaders to

:08:06. > :08:10.consider when they meet at Stormont next week.

:08:11. > :08:13.The police are investigating the motive for a gun attack on a

:08:14. > :08:22.74-year-old man near Ballycastle last night. The pensioner, who was

:08:23. > :08:25.shot in the chest, is said to be in a stable condition in hospital. This

:08:26. > :08:30.quiet area of five miles from Ballycastle became a crime scene

:08:31. > :08:35.last night. The attack at this house last night took place shortly before

:08:36. > :08:39.a quarter to nine. It is understood the victim was working in a shed

:08:40. > :08:43.alongside this bungalow when he was shot in the chest. It is an attack

:08:44. > :08:49.that has caused rate alarm in this community. The community are very

:08:50. > :08:54.shocked for stop I have had several phone calls about it. Local people

:08:55. > :08:59.the -- shop. I have had several phone calls about it. This is one of

:09:00. > :09:04.the safest communities in Northern Ireland, said this has come as a

:09:05. > :09:08.great shock. Following the shooting, the pensioner was taken to the

:09:09. > :09:15.hospital, where he remains in a radical condition. Police are hoping

:09:16. > :09:21.the -- are saying it is too early in the investigation to point to a

:09:22. > :09:24.specific motive. Regardless of the reasons for this attack, people do

:09:25. > :09:30.not have the rights to bring these matters into their own hands. The

:09:31. > :09:39.attack is being treated as attempted murder. Police want anyone with

:09:40. > :09:42.information to come forward. An inquest has found that, with

:09:43. > :09:45.hindsight, there may have been possible opportunities in diagnosing

:09:46. > :09:48.a rare blood disorder from which a woman and her unborn baby died. But

:09:49. > :09:52.the coroner said he was unable to determine if the 36-year-old mother

:09:53. > :10:03.and her son would have survived had there been an earlier diagnosis.

:10:04. > :10:09.This woman was 26 weeks pregnant with her second child when she was

:10:10. > :10:14.taken to the hospital on the 12th of June, 2011, with symptoms suggestive

:10:15. > :10:20.of a stroke. She died shortly after arriving, and her baby was delivered

:10:21. > :10:26.stillborn. A postmortem revealed that what she had been suffering

:10:27. > :10:31.from was a very rare blood disorder known as TTP, which can be difficult

:10:32. > :10:35.to diagnose. In his findings, the coroner highlighted a number of

:10:36. > :10:38.different occasions the cheek concluded may be regarded as

:10:39. > :10:49.possible opportunities to make that by guesses. -- that he concluded.

:10:50. > :10:53.Cara made contact with medical profession and -- professionals six

:10:54. > :10:56.times before her death. Her friend had called the doctor because she

:10:57. > :11:03.was concerned that Cara's speech was slurred and hurt face was drooping.

:11:04. > :11:07.A paramedic was called to take her to hospital. Cara was unwilling to

:11:08. > :11:11.go to the hospital because of a long wait she had had in a different unit

:11:12. > :11:14.earlier in the week. The local doctor tried to contact her twice by

:11:15. > :11:20.phone without success, but did not make a home visit. The coroner

:11:21. > :11:24.concluded that although Caro was mentally competent at this stage,

:11:25. > :11:31.she was not in the position to assess the serious consequences for

:11:32. > :11:35.herself and her unborn baby. In a statement, the Southeastern health

:11:36. > :11:39.and social care trust said that Cara's tragic death has heightened

:11:40. > :11:43.the awareness of this rare disease, which will make staff is better

:11:44. > :11:46.prepared in the future. Cara's family that she would never

:11:47. > :11:54.knowingly have put the life of her baby or her own life in danger.

:11:55. > :11:58.A teenager who raid a 76-year-old woman can now be named after the BBC

:11:59. > :12:03.went to court to challenge the terms under which his name was kept from

:12:04. > :12:06.the public. Ryan McGreechan was just 15 when he raid the pensioner in

:12:07. > :12:12.March 2011 after going into her home. She died later that year. His

:12:13. > :12:19.identity was protected through his trial last year because of his age.

:12:20. > :12:29.But following a appeal court hearing today the BBC can name him.

:12:30. > :12:33.McGreechan is serving eight years. Three men from Liverpool have been

:12:34. > :12:37.jailed for a total of 17 years for their involvement in a plot to rob a

:12:38. > :12:39.multi-millionaire in Belfast. The plan was foiled by a lengthy

:12:40. > :12:44.surveillance operation by the police.

:12:45. > :12:47.These are the Merseyside robbers who plans to break into the home of one

:12:48. > :12:52.of Northern Ireland's richest men on the outskirts of South L fast.

:12:53. > :13:02.Michael Herbert Renz the largest Kentucky fried chicken franchise in

:13:03. > :13:07.the area. The court was told how the gang arrived from Belfast on a

:13:08. > :13:15.ferry. They went on several trips around the property of Mister

:13:16. > :13:20.Herbert -- Mr Herbert before returning to Merseyside. They

:13:21. > :13:23.entered the garden of his home carrying a rucksack and crowbars.

:13:24. > :13:29.This time, the police swooped, and the three men were arrested.

:13:30. > :13:33.52-year-old Michael Blondel and his accomplice were sentenced to three

:13:34. > :13:49.years, and Craig Murray was sentenced to five years. Four Irish

:13:50. > :13:52.language groups in Northern Ireland are to lose a substantial part of

:13:53. > :13:56.their funding. Foras na Gaeilge which was set up under the Good

:13:57. > :13:59.Friday Agreement, says it is cutting finance to groups throughout Ireland

:14:00. > :14:10.and in future will give money to promote the language and provide

:14:11. > :14:15.services on an all-island basis. Our main concern is the people that

:14:16. > :14:18.will be made redundant. But with the work you're doing, particularly

:14:19. > :14:22.cross community work, we do not think that will be done by the

:14:23. > :14:25.All-Ireland association that is taking over. They don't understand

:14:26. > :14:29.it, they don't understand the society you the way we do, they

:14:30. > :14:39.don't have the experience we think this will be a disaster.

:14:40. > :14:42.Still ahead on BBC Newsline this evening. Thomas Niblock looks head

:14:43. > :14:45.to the Ulster rugby team's next European match it is one of the

:14:46. > :14:49.biggest game in Ulster Rugby's history. Tonight I will have all the

:14:50. > :14:50.build-up from Ulster and thereupon 's here at Leicester. -- their

:14:51. > :15:02.opponents. A gold exploration company is

:15:03. > :15:05.expected to be given formal permission next week to begin

:15:06. > :15:09.prospecting for gold near Gortin in County Tyrone. But its plan to blast

:15:10. > :15:12.a one mile-long excavation tunnel into the hills has caused a deep

:15:13. > :15:16.rift in the local community. Kevin Magee reports.

:15:17. > :15:20.This is what the Canadian gold expert thinks -- exploration company

:15:21. > :15:28.Dalradian Resources is hoping to find in the hills of Tyrone, large

:15:29. > :15:31.deposits of gold. Its plan is to extend an existing exploration shaft

:15:32. > :15:38.by more than one mile into the countryside, but the arrival of the

:15:39. > :15:44.49ers new Gortin has split the community. Some see it as a golden

:15:45. > :15:48.opportunity. It will be very good for local appointment, there will be

:15:49. > :15:52.at least 20 new jobs. This is an underground mine that

:15:53. > :15:58.will minimise the landscape damage. It is crucial to strike a balance

:15:59. > :15:59.between economic development, job creation and environmental

:16:00. > :16:04.protection. Others fear the sheer scale of the operation will destroy

:16:05. > :16:10.what has been designated an area of outstanding natural beauty.

:16:11. > :16:15.The promise of jobs is very attractive, but gold mining is a

:16:16. > :16:21.very dirty business. It doesn't come out as the gold as we know, it comes

:16:22. > :16:26.out as rock, and there is a lot of rock. 45,000 tonnes, to be precise,

:16:27. > :16:30.would be removed by blasting. One third will remain on site, the

:16:31. > :16:35.rest will be removed. That will mean the equivalent of

:16:36. > :16:41.1200 lorry-loads of rock this size taken away from our -- for analysis.

:16:42. > :16:46.The company is forming a charity giving ?30,000 to local causes over

:16:47. > :16:50.the past two years. But one man says they should be

:16:51. > :16:56.spending money on an environmental impact report. To assess the risk

:16:57. > :17:00.revolved with such a massive project should be demanded by the Department

:17:01. > :17:04.and funded by the company. This would alleviate any concerns

:17:05. > :17:08.for the community and for the environment. But the Department for

:17:09. > :17:12.the environment says such an assessment is not necessary and

:17:13. > :17:15.stringent conditions -- conditions will be attached.

:17:16. > :17:18.No one from Dalradian Resources was currently available for an interview

:17:19. > :17:22.but it maintains this scheme will not have any impact on the

:17:23. > :17:25.environment. It is thought the company will be given the go-ahead

:17:26. > :17:29.next week to start prospecting and if large enough deposits can be

:17:30. > :17:41.found it hopes to establish one of the largest gold mines in Europe in

:17:42. > :17:44.the Tyrone Hill 's. -- Hills. First it was the UK City of Culture.

:17:45. > :17:48.Now Londonderry begins a year of being Music City 2014, building on

:17:49. > :17:51.the success of the last twelve months And tonight it's hosting its

:17:52. > :17:55.first big outdoor event. And if you are a Westlife fan you might notice

:17:56. > :17:58.a familiar face. Here's our North-West reporter, Keiron Tourish.

:17:59. > :18:05.It is called here in the city sing and it is the first big event to

:18:06. > :18:07.kick-start Music City 2000 and -- 2014.

:18:08. > :18:11.This area in the city centre is being transformed. And there is a

:18:12. > :18:17.range of performers and well-known faces.

:18:18. > :18:29.Former Westlife member, Shane Phelan -- Shane Filan is performing a short

:18:30. > :18:35.set and is looking forward to it. It is always nice to be back in

:18:36. > :18:38.Northern Ireland, I haven't been to Derry for a while.

:18:39. > :18:44.It is exciting. And you are the lead act, I understand.

:18:45. > :18:47.I am, I am pleased to do it. Northern Ireland has a lot of

:18:48. > :18:53.memories for me over the years, so I am pleased to do the concert. Music

:18:54. > :18:58.City 2014 aims to capitalise on the huge success of events like the BBC

:18:59. > :19:07.Radio one big weekend, which took place during Derry's time as City of

:19:08. > :19:11.Culture. We give thanks to all of the people

:19:12. > :19:14.across the spectrum who came out last year to make it such a

:19:15. > :19:17.wonderful success. People in the city are promised a

:19:18. > :19:23.spectacular view when they come out tonight.

:19:24. > :19:28.I you -- New York-based artist uses wager -- laser technology to light

:19:29. > :19:31.up the skies. It is great, especially for Star Wars fans,

:19:32. > :19:36.because they think the art like they'd like big light sabres and

:19:37. > :19:43.they look like them, -- they think they look like light sabres.

:19:44. > :19:51.Traffic lights, very different! Gavin Andrews is next with the

:19:52. > :19:54.sports news and it's rugby first - the result of Ulster's next game

:19:55. > :19:58.will determine if they get a home quarter final match in the Heineken

:19:59. > :20:01.Cup. And that makes it the biggest game

:20:02. > :20:05.of the season for Mark Anscombe's side. The team to take on the

:20:06. > :20:08.Leicester Tigers was named today. Rory Best will make his 150th Ulster

:20:09. > :20:12.appearance. Callum Black is also in the starting front row and is one of

:20:13. > :20:15.two changes to the side which defeated Montpellier last weekend.

:20:16. > :20:21.Roger Wilson replaces Robbie Diack and winger Craig Gilroy has

:20:22. > :20:25.recovered from injury and starts. Last night we assessed the mood in

:20:26. > :20:28.the Ulster camp. Tonight we find out what they think in Leicester. This

:20:29. > :20:31.week Thomas Niblock made the journey to Welford Road, the home of

:20:32. > :20:36.England's most successful rugby club.

:20:37. > :20:39.Leicester Tigers! Rugby success in England is defined

:20:40. > :20:46.by the Leicester Tigers, they are simply the best in the business. No

:20:47. > :20:49.English side has won more European cups or collected more Premiership

:20:50. > :20:52.titles. They are also current champions of England, in other words

:20:53. > :20:56.Ulster are up against it and will need their travelling support in

:20:57. > :21:01.full voice on Saturday. Judging by the past, that should not really be

:21:02. > :21:05.a problem. Tell me about the occasional 's last

:21:06. > :21:08.year. The official line was that you drunk as dry.

:21:09. > :21:12.At the time it was our record of drinks sales. You did a great job

:21:13. > :21:17.and it was very colourful and the bar afterwards.

:21:18. > :21:22.The prize on offer to make a simple bash if Ulster win they will play

:21:23. > :21:26.their European cup quarterfinal here at Ravenhill. If Leicester win they

:21:27. > :21:31.will play at Welford Road and that game could, once again, be against

:21:32. > :21:34.Ulster. We have managed to gain access to the way changing room this

:21:35. > :21:38.weekend. Ulster will get ready here, on the

:21:39. > :21:42.left hand side there is just one toilet. The changing room is pretty

:21:43. > :21:46.basic to say the least, a couple of chairs and benches. We have for

:21:47. > :21:52.showers, a physiotherapist bench, and a bath. Needless to say, no

:21:53. > :21:56.advantage given to the visitors. Our biggest game of the year so far.

:21:57. > :22:02.It is not a must win, but also date -- sides would definitely like to

:22:03. > :22:07.win it. It is important if you have

:22:08. > :22:11.aspirations to go on and win the competition. If Ulster ended up

:22:12. > :22:15.winning the competition this year, would that surprise you?

:22:16. > :22:19.No, because they are good enough, they have good enough players.

:22:20. > :22:23.They are good enough to go anywhere and win, you saw that in Montpellier

:22:24. > :22:27.where they controlled the game. You would imagine it will be very tight,

:22:28. > :22:33.you imagine it will be a mistake from someone or a referee's decision

:22:34. > :22:37.that may be the deciding factor. If Ulster plays to their potential this

:22:38. > :22:42.weekend and so do all -- Leicester, who will win to Michael it will be

:22:43. > :22:45.close want it? Leicester. I'm 100% confident we

:22:46. > :22:49.will go through this weekend. It will be difficult but if we are

:22:50. > :22:53.on top of our game I am sure we will win. The shadow of a World Cup

:22:54. > :22:59.winning captain and a World Cup winning coach instils natural

:23:00. > :23:01.confidence at Welford Road and they expect to win.

:23:02. > :23:13.But expecting victory and achieving it can be two very different things.

:23:14. > :23:17.I hope they have stopped the bar! -- stocked. Rory McIlroy is two

:23:18. > :23:19.shots off the lead at the halfway point of the Abu Dhabi Championship

:23:20. > :23:23.after recovering from a double-bogey for a five-under-par 67.

:23:24. > :23:25.The Holywood man, who carded a 70 in his opening round finished the day

:23:26. > :23:30.on seven under par for the tournament. He was five under for

:23:31. > :23:33.his back nine thanks to shots like this. The old smile is back.

:23:34. > :23:36.Kris Meeke remains in contention after eleven stages of the Monte

:23:37. > :23:39.Carlo rally, the opening event of this year's World Championship.

:23:40. > :23:41.Driving a Citroen, the Dungannon man is in third postion, one minute 37

:23:42. > :23:47.seconds off the lead with four stages to go tomorrrow.

:23:48. > :23:55.It's semi final weekend in the Power NI McKenna Cup. Cavan face Monaghan

:23:56. > :23:58.in the last four, while Tyrone take on Derry. Mickey Harte's side, who

:23:59. > :24:01.face the same opposition in the opening round of the National League

:24:02. > :24:04.in a fortnight's time, have been hugely impressive in the

:24:05. > :24:08.competition, recording a 24 point victory over Armagh in their final

:24:09. > :24:11.group game. We would have preferred not to meet

:24:12. > :24:15.each other at this stage, but that is the way it is. We will have to do

:24:16. > :24:19.what we can on Sunday and it will not have any bearing on what will

:24:20. > :24:24.happen a couple of weeks later. We want as many games in the McKenna

:24:25. > :24:26.Cup as possible. You are only guaranteed three to begin with, we

:24:27. > :24:32.now have a fourth, but we would like a fifth. We like to play football.

:24:33. > :24:40.It's tight at the top of the Irish Premiership, with Linfield's lead

:24:41. > :24:42.cut to just one point. David Jeffrey's side travel to Ballymena

:24:43. > :24:43.tomorrow - while second-placed Cliftonville face Portadown at

:24:44. > :24:51.Solitude. All a tough game, you know, we have had

:24:52. > :24:57.one point out of six against them this season. And that is after being

:24:58. > :24:59.in the lead at 83 minutes in both games. We will find it tough against

:25:00. > :25:05.them, but we could be a bit more clinical in front of goal and we

:25:06. > :25:08.will be in on good ground. All the results on Final Score here

:25:09. > :25:11.on BBC One tomorrow afternoon. That's the sport tonight.

:25:12. > :25:15.The weather forecast next with Angie.

:25:16. > :25:18.I would not go far without the waterproofs this weekend, not

:25:19. > :25:21.looking too good at all if you are planning on doing anything

:25:22. > :25:27.outdoors, a pretty unsettled outlook. We have rain, showers on

:25:28. > :25:30.the cards. It will also feel pretty chilly and particularly through

:25:31. > :25:35.tomorrow night we are looking at quite a bit of frost and some icy

:25:36. > :25:41.patches, maybe some fog, as well. We had some fog in the West this

:25:42. > :25:46.morning and low-lying fog at Letterkenny. That lifted this

:25:47. > :25:52.morning. We know have broken cloud coming from the West. -- we now.

:25:53. > :25:57.They will be some showers scattered this evening. At this stage you

:25:58. > :26:01.could see temperatures dipping low enough to give a touch of ground

:26:02. > :26:05.frost and maybe the odd icy patches. If anything, the temperatures will

:26:06. > :26:14.creep up overnight because cloud will close in, ending up with misty,

:26:15. > :26:18.murky conditions and hill fog. Those showers they are a sign of a change

:26:19. > :26:22.tomorrow. Low pressure is sitting to the north, also a weather front

:26:23. > :26:26.creeping up through the Irish Sea, bringing the prospect of some pretty

:26:27. > :26:29.dull and wet weather for many parts of Northern Ireland. The rain will

:26:30. > :26:35.move in fairly quickly tomorrow morning. The West, said only parts

:26:36. > :26:41.of it, may avoid the worst of the rain, the heaviest pulses likely

:26:42. > :26:46.further east. Once it is therefore Mid Ulster, County Down, through

:26:47. > :26:50.Belfast and into Londonderry, the rain is on and off through the day.

:26:51. > :26:54.Given the ground is saturated there is a slight risk of localised

:26:55. > :26:58.flooding. The West is definitely best and brightest tomorrow, but

:26:59. > :27:04.even here chilly day, temperatures not much above six Celsius. The rain

:27:05. > :27:09.starting to clear away from the north-east tomorrow at -- tomorrow

:27:10. > :27:14.night, left with pretty cold temperatures. Generally close to

:27:15. > :27:19.freezing, a widespread frost, some icy patches and maybe some mist and

:27:20. > :27:24.fog. A cold start on Sunday, which is generally right, but even then

:27:25. > :27:26.there will be showers, some of them heavy.

:27:27. > :27:32.Finally a reminder before we go of our main story - almost 100 workers

:27:33. > :27:36.at the Antrim construction firm company -- Mivan have been made

:27:37. > :27:45.redundant. On our news online page we have an

:27:46. > :27:46.interview with Westlife singer Shane
