:00:09. > :00:13.Good evening and welcome to BBC Newsline. The police are

:00:14. > :00:16.investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a

:00:17. > :00:20.man outside Dungannon. The body of the man, believed to be in his 30s,

:00:21. > :00:23.was found in the garden of a house in the Millview Manor area of the

:00:24. > :00:27.town this morning. A postmortem examination is to be carried out to

:00:28. > :00:30.determine the cause of death. The police haven't released any more

:00:31. > :00:33.details at this stage as they continue their inquiries.

:00:34. > :00:37.There has been a petrol bomb attack on a house in Coalisland. A device

:00:38. > :00:40.was thrown at the property at Inishmore Park around half past ten

:00:41. > :00:44.last night, causing scorch damage to a window. Nobody was in the house at

:00:45. > :00:48.the time. The police say three men believed to have been involved in

:00:49. > :00:51.the incident made off in a white coloured car along the Washingbay

:00:52. > :01:00.Road. The Sinn Fein MP for the area has condemned the attack.

:01:01. > :01:02.I was speaking to the family this morning and they were devastated

:01:03. > :01:08.completely. They do not know an actual reason for it and our concern

:01:09. > :01:11.is why this attack would happen. I don't believe it would happen by

:01:12. > :01:16.anyone within the call Island area, but we have no knowledge of that at

:01:17. > :01:20.the present time. The situation if there had not been someone sitting

:01:21. > :01:24.on the sofa in this situation we would be talking about death this

:01:25. > :01:25.morning, and that is the sad situation.

:01:26. > :01:28.Police searching for missing Ballymena woman Elizabeth Greer are

:01:29. > :01:32.investigating the discovery of a body at Randalstown, close to Lough

:01:33. > :01:36.Neagh this morning. The 46-year-old was last seen in

:01:37. > :01:40.Ballymena on Wednesday. The body has not yet been formally identified and

:01:41. > :01:43.a postmortem is to be held. The chairman of the Ulster Unionist

:01:44. > :01:46.Party, Lord Empey, has tabled an amendment at Westminster which, if

:01:47. > :01:49.passed, would pave the way for an opposition to be set up in the

:01:50. > :01:53.Assembly. His party leader Mike Nesbitt has said there is no need

:01:54. > :01:55.for an official opposition at Stormont and speaking on the Sunday

:01:56. > :02:04.Politics show, the Ulster Unionist peer insisted that the party were

:02:05. > :02:10.not making a U-turn on policy. If you look at our 2010 manifesto,

:02:11. > :02:15.it had provision for an opposition in the manifesto. In our Assembly

:02:16. > :02:22.election manifesto 2011 it is included in it, and in Mike Nesbitt

:02:23. > :02:28.was Michael maiden speech in 2011 he raised the question of opposition.

:02:29. > :02:31.-- Mike Nesbitt's maiden speech. Whether we would seek to be in

:02:32. > :02:36.opposition is whether -- a totally different issue to whether we have

:02:37. > :02:39.an opposition or not. We think it would strengthen stomach, move us

:02:40. > :02:43.one stage towards more normal politics and I cannot see any reason

:02:44. > :02:52.why anyone would be opposed to it. And you can see The Politics Show

:02:53. > :02:55.again tonight at 11pm on BBC Two. -- it would strengthen Stormont.

:02:56. > :02:58.The body of Simon Chase, who died in a suicide bomb attack in Afghanistan

:02:59. > :03:02.nine days ago, has arrived back in Northern Ireland. Mr Chase, who was

:03:03. > :03:04.originally from Chester but had been living in Limavady with his partner

:03:05. > :03:09.and two sons, had been working with an EU mission in Kabul when he was

:03:10. > :03:12.killed. His funeral will take place on Tuesday in the town.

:03:13. > :03:15.A leading charity in Northern Ireland is calling on the Assembly

:03:16. > :03:19.to ban the sale of electronic cigarettes to children under 18. It

:03:20. > :03:21.follows the decision by the Public Health Minister in England to

:03:22. > :03:24.prohibit children buying E-cigarettes. Electronic cigarettes

:03:25. > :03:29.deliver a hit of nicotine and emit water vapour which mimics the

:03:30. > :03:31.feeling and look of smoking. Chest, Heart and Stroke believes Stormont

:03:32. > :03:39.should introduce similar legislation.

:03:40. > :03:42.The quickest way to do that is to use the children and families bill

:03:43. > :03:46.that is now progressing through Westminster, and if it is tagged

:03:47. > :03:52.onto that we in Northern Ireland can use that built to deliver this band

:03:53. > :03:55.much more speedily so that we can stop young people buying these.

:03:56. > :03:57.In a statement, the Department of Health said that the minister, Edwin

:03:58. > :04:01.Poots, strongly supported any measure that discouraged people of

:04:02. > :04:03.any age from taking up smoking and would be watching developments in

:04:04. > :04:05.England closely. Turning to football now,

:04:06. > :04:10.Cliftonville defeated their North Belfast rivals Crusaders to retain

:04:11. > :04:13.the League Cup last night. But it took extra time and penalties to

:04:14. > :04:18.separate the two teams. Here's Sharon Hall.

:04:19. > :04:26.Both sides had their chances. Liam Boyce went close with this header

:04:27. > :04:31.and the Crusaders responded when this volley forced Conor Devon into

:04:32. > :04:35.a good save. At the end of normal time, Martin Burnley almost broke

:04:36. > :04:42.the deadlock for the Reds in injury time with a deft chip. When extra

:04:43. > :04:56.time ended scoreless Devlin was the hero. Cliftonville's or Carol and

:04:57. > :05:01.Connell put their kicks away. There was a feel-good -- feel-good

:05:02. > :05:05.factor for North Belfast. OK, it was not the best affair, but there will

:05:06. > :05:09.be better matches in time to come. It just shows you that the hunger

:05:10. > :05:12.and appetite for football around here and the following Cliftonville

:05:13. > :05:15.have, the supporters were magnificent, I would like to thank

:05:16. > :05:18.them, as well. And now with a look at what the

:05:19. > :05:24.weather has in store, here's Barra Best.

:05:25. > :05:32.It stays in control in the next few days. White windy at the moment, we

:05:33. > :05:37.have a weather warning in force for strong winds towards the north coast

:05:38. > :05:40.but the main area of concern is for ice, especially during the first

:05:41. > :05:46.half of the night. The Met Office has issued a weather warning. Where

:05:47. > :05:50.we have clear skies we could see ice on untreated surfaces. Scattered

:05:51. > :05:54.showers will continue tonight and during the first part of the night

:05:55. > :05:59.we are likely to see sleet and snow and especially for the hills and

:06:00. > :06:03.mountains. By tomorrow morning there will be milder air and most of what

:06:04. > :06:08.is following will fall as rain. Tomorrow morning will be fairly

:06:09. > :06:11.unsettled, scattered showers throughout the day and windy at

:06:12. > :06:15.times. To begin with, a lot of us waking up

:06:16. > :06:20.to damp weather but like today it will not rain all day, bright

:06:21. > :06:23.weather and spills of sunshine throughout the day. Low pressure is

:06:24. > :06:27.in control across Britain and Ireland bringing scattered showers,

:06:28. > :06:32.wintry conditions and spells of rain, snow for some higher areas of

:06:33. > :06:37.northern England and Scotland. The best of any drier weather will'

:06:38. > :06:41.England and towards the east coast. For Northern Ireland it will feel

:06:42. > :06:45.quite called with westerly winds and any scattered showers will continue

:06:46. > :06:50.to fade across, some wintry across high ground but most of us will see

:06:51. > :06:53.showers as rain. Low pressure in control for Tuesday, bringing spells

:06:54. > :06:57.of rain and scattered showers, but also some dry weather, at the moment

:06:58. > :07:02.looking most likely for western and southern areas. For the rest of the

:07:03. > :07:05.week low pressure remained in control on Wednesday, scattered

:07:06. > :07:08.showers throughout the day in between brighter weather and spills

:07:09. > :07:12.of sunshine, eventually the low-pressure slipping away by

:07:13. > :07:15.Thursday and we are expecting a much better day then. We will keep an eye

:07:16. > :07:19.on things over the next few days, we will keep you up-to-date on BBC

:07:20. > :07:22.Newsline and you can follow us on Twitter.
