:00:44. > :00:49.heat-seeking event called off its search for today at quarter to nine

:00:50. > :00:53.oh stop a lifeboat crew along with the Irish Coastguard have been

:00:54. > :00:57.searching for the third man for around six hours. When man was

:00:58. > :01:01.discovered in our after that. Conditions were described as trustee

:01:02. > :01:14.of the time of the incident. We are searching an area called viewpoint.

:01:15. > :01:19.There is an area... A few days fishing out on the lake. They were

:01:20. > :01:23.doing a bit of pike fishing. The weather wasn't great at the time.

:01:24. > :01:29.The search will resume at first light tomorrow.

:01:30. > :01:33.A County Londonderry gas fitter has been sent to jail for health and

:01:34. > :01:35.safety breaches that led to the deaths of two teenagers. George

:01:36. > :01:39.Browne from Ballygawley Road in Aghadowey got two years for the

:01:40. > :01:42.manslaughter of Aaron Davidson and Neil McFerran. They were poisoned by

:01:43. > :01:49.fumes from a boiler Brown's firm had installed.

:01:50. > :01:53.Poisonous gas is leaking from this type and it killed two young men. It

:01:54. > :01:58.should have been secured with four small screws, but the failure to do

:01:59. > :02:02.that cost Aaron Davidson and Neil McFerran their lives in August of

:02:03. > :02:07.2010. They were having a break with another friend in an apartment I had

:02:08. > :02:11.of getting their exam results. When they did not result -- return homes,

:02:12. > :02:16.their parents came here. They found two of the boys died and one is

:02:17. > :02:23.seriously ill. They were poisoned by carbon monoxide. Within days, this

:02:24. > :02:33.man's name was made public, George Browne was responsible for fitting

:02:34. > :02:37.the apartment. An extensive investigation was carried out in the

:02:38. > :02:40.case took three and a half years to reach the conclusion. That was

:02:41. > :02:49.something that big judge criticised today. The lesson is that shoddy

:02:50. > :02:54.work showmanship -- workmanship costs lives. Get a gas engineer to

:02:55. > :03:04.put everything in and make sure it is service. If you have chimneys,

:03:05. > :03:09.make sure it is clean. Brian -- Browne eventually pled guilty to

:03:10. > :03:14.many safety breaches. He put his head down as the judge said that his

:03:15. > :03:21.cavalier attitude was impossible to comprehend and run Sebastopol --

:03:22. > :03:28.reprehensible. He said it was caused by sure laziness. He was sentenced

:03:29. > :03:56.to four years. He will spend half that time in jail. He was also fined

:03:57. > :03:58.?19,000. The Alliance party's Euro candidate

:03:59. > :04:02.has been criticised for saying she favours a united Ireland. Anna Lo

:04:03. > :04:05.made the remarks in the Irish News. Our political correspondent Martina

:04:06. > :04:08.Purdy has the details. What will voters make of her preference for

:04:09. > :04:16.United Ireland if a majority agree? I think it is such a small place, a

:04:17. > :04:24.corner of Ireland to be part of the United Kingdom. It is very

:04:25. > :04:29.artificial. I think together, working with the UK, we are at a

:04:30. > :04:38.better place. Economically, socially and politically. She also told the

:04:39. > :04:41.Irish news she was anti-colonial. Unionists have condemned the

:04:42. > :04:52.remarks. She is entitled to her opinions. She is entitled to have an

:04:53. > :04:58.assertion of Ireland. It is not a colony. It is part of a United

:04:59. > :05:02.Kingdom. She needs to apologise. In a statement, the Alliance Party said

:05:03. > :05:11.that the party had a diverse membership on adding that's Anna Lo

:05:12. > :05:15.has her own aspirations. But this former MLA says that her comments

:05:16. > :05:25.are damaging, particularly for an East Belfast MP who was caught up in

:05:26. > :05:33.a row over the union frag. -- flag. Where did she get the votes to elect

:05:34. > :05:36.her as and he for East Belfast? Only from the unionist population. But

:05:37. > :05:41.Sinn Fein says her remarks are not rational. I do not welcome her

:05:42. > :05:50.comments and I think they are disgraceful. They are unforgivable.

:05:51. > :06:01.There are seniors who are asking for an apology.

:06:02. > :06:06.And the Alliance Party leader David Ford will be giving his reaction on

:06:07. > :06:08.The View straight after this bulletin.

:06:09. > :06:12.Two police officers who were filmed leaving an incapacitated woman in a

:06:13. > :06:14.bus lane in Londonderry are to be repositioned following a

:06:15. > :06:20.recommendation by the police ombudsman. Mobile phone and CCTV

:06:21. > :06:23.footage shows the two officers abandoning Bridget Mongan in the bus

:06:24. > :06:26.lane on John Street on Saint Patrick's Day. The move means the

:06:27. > :06:29.two officers will not perform duties which bring them into direct contact

:06:30. > :06:32.with the public. The digital revolution has been

:06:33. > :06:41.progressing quietly in a lot of our towns and cities. Many of them are

:06:42. > :06:45.already well ahead when it comes to providing free Wi-Fi. Belfast is due

:06:46. > :06:48.to get its own system next year, but people may have to pay to use it.

:06:49. > :06:52.Conor Macauley reports. You cannot see it, but this town is

:06:53. > :06:56.encased in a giant bubble. For the last six months, people have been

:06:57. > :07:00.able to access free public Wi-Fi on the streets here, part of a scheme

:07:01. > :07:06.to make it available in towns across Northern Ireland. There is a

:07:07. > :07:10.repeater box for the Wi-Fi behind me. We will see if we can log into

:07:11. > :07:20.the service. There it is. Free Wi-Fi. And there is live coverage of

:07:21. > :07:26.the House of Commons. The scheme as part of a general roll-out. So far,

:07:27. > :07:31.the Department for social development has approved ?564,000 to

:07:32. > :07:40.be spent on installing free Wi-Fi in 22 towns across Northern Ireland.

:07:41. > :07:50.And this town, it is being picked up by local councils. This man helps --

:07:51. > :07:56.this man knows about the free Wi-Fi system. He has no doubts about the

:07:57. > :08:04.benefits. I have heard, especially from American Taurus, the lack of

:08:05. > :08:11.good, open up why Spike -- Y pipe -- Wi-Fi hotspots. The likelihood is

:08:12. > :08:15.that it will not be entirely free. It is expected an initial period

:08:16. > :08:19.after login will be free, but people will be expected to pay her

:08:20. > :08:26.continued usage. -- for continued usage.

:08:27. > :08:30.After a reasonable afternoon, the temperatures this evening and

:08:31. > :08:40.tonight have dropped off quite market leap. The showers tonight

:08:41. > :08:45.will turn increasingly wintry. The Met Office has a yellow warning in

:08:46. > :08:49.place for ice that is in force from midnight tonight until nine o'clock

:08:50. > :08:54.tomorrow morning. Friday is going to start quite chilly. As we go through

:08:55. > :09:00.the morning, it stays reasonably warm -- dry through the first half

:09:01. > :09:04.of the day, and that is because we are in this gap between a couple of

:09:05. > :09:09.fronts before the next weather front moves in, and that is the dominant

:09:10. > :09:17.feature in the UK and Ireland tomorrow. It is a decent brighter

:09:18. > :09:23.day in the southern areas. North and west, it is cloudier and showery and

:09:24. > :09:28.quite breezy. Look at what we have to contend with tomorrow afternoon.

:09:29. > :09:36.Wintry rain and eight cold and blustery ride home. Quite streaky

:09:37. > :09:43.and challenging. Stay tuned to BBC radio Ulster for the latest updates.

:09:44. > :09:47.As we head into the weekend, chilly temperatures continue on Saturday.

:09:48. > :09:51.It is a similar sort of set up on Sunday as well. It will get brighter

:09:52. > :09:56.on the high-pressure works its way in and kills off the showers. An

:09:57. > :10:01.unsettled few days. Sunday afternoon, the best of it. You can

:10:02. > :10:02.keep the date -- you can keep up-to-date
