:00:00. > :00:15.Thank you for Good evening. The police are

:00:16. > :00:19.treating the death of a woman in Belfast as suspicious. Her body was

:00:20. > :00:21.discovered in a house in the Lenadoon area this morning. Laura

:00:22. > :00:25.Bleakley reports. Forensic officers have spent the day at the house in

:00:26. > :00:31.west Belfast where the woman's body was found. Officers were called to

:00:32. > :00:38.the property around 6:25am this morning. The woman has yet to be

:00:39. > :00:42.named, but it is understood she was 30 years old. The PSNI has revealed

:00:43. > :00:46.that a 36-year-old man has been arrested and is being questioned.

:00:47. > :00:54.Neighbours said they were shocked at the news and that this is generally

:00:55. > :00:57.a quiet area. The postmortem will be carried out to establish the cause

:00:58. > :01:01.of the death, but at this time, it is being treated as suspicious.

:01:02. > :01:06.A six-year-old boy is being treated in hospital after being knocked down

:01:07. > :01:09.by a car in Newry yesterday afternoon. The police say that the

:01:10. > :01:12.child was struck on Chapel Street around three o'clock by a

:01:13. > :01:15.black-coloured Ford Focus, which failed to stop at the scene. The

:01:16. > :01:26.boy's injuries are serious but not life-threatening. The Sinn Fein MEP

:01:27. > :01:28.Martina Anderson, has described the killers of former Continuity IRA

:01:29. > :01:32.leader Tommy Crossan as "criminals masquerading as republicans". She

:01:33. > :01:35.was speaking at one of a number of events held to commemorate the

:01:36. > :01:47.anniversary of the Easter Rising, as Louise Cullen reports.

:01:48. > :01:51.The main republican parade in Belfast made its way from the west

:01:52. > :01:57.of the city to Milltown Cemetery. The good weather brought hundreds

:01:58. > :01:59.onto the streets to watch. Republicans honoured the dead of

:02:00. > :02:03.previous conflicts, but with the murder of a former dissident leader

:02:04. > :02:08.on Friday, it was ongoing violence which featured in the keynote

:02:09. > :02:13.speaker's address. There is another minority in our community. There is

:02:14. > :02:19.an attempt to derail any progress in the peace and political processes.

:02:20. > :02:23.They are criminals. Posing as Republicans. One of these small

:02:24. > :02:34.groups took the life of Tommy Crossan in this city. Similar crowds

:02:35. > :02:38.joined the commemorations elsewhere. They heard calls for support and for

:02:39. > :02:45.social and economic equality to be addressed. The military ceremony in

:02:46. > :02:47.Dublin was led by the Irish president along with Enda Kenny and

:02:48. > :02:49.the Justice Minister. Thousands attended while around 170 members of

:02:50. > :02:57.the Navy marched. Meanwhile a man is still being

:02:58. > :02:59.questioned about the murder of Tommy Crossan on Friday. The 26-year-old

:03:00. > :03:06.was arrested yesterday morning. Winter storms earlier this year have

:03:07. > :03:10.changed the shape of a number of our beaches. And as lifeguards from the

:03:11. > :03:13.RNLI go on duty for the summer season, they're warning people to be

:03:14. > :03:24.careful at the seaside. Peter Coulter reports. Keeping a watchful

:03:25. > :03:28.eye, the RNLI lifeguards. Their boards have been dusted off. They

:03:29. > :03:32.are back on our beaches for the first time this year. It might be

:03:33. > :03:36.sunny today, but last winter's stormy weather has had a big impact

:03:37. > :03:39.on our coastline. We have seen a lot of high tides and powerful waves

:03:40. > :03:43.which have changed the shape of the beach. Which have changed the shape

:03:44. > :03:46.of the beach, often creating deep channels for the water to flow which

:03:47. > :03:50.can cause recurrence. The lifeguards are manning five beaches over the

:03:51. > :03:53.Easter break. The sun might have disappeared for now, but last year

:03:54. > :03:55.was one of Northern Ireland's hottest summers in recent times,

:03:56. > :04:00.which meant thousands of people flocked here to the beach. It was

:04:01. > :04:04.also a busy summer for the RNLI, and lifeguards had to come to the aid of

:04:05. > :04:15.about 330 people, up 153 on the year before. The advice to say that

:04:16. > :04:18.truckers stay safe is to swim between the flags and check that

:04:19. > :04:28.there are lifeguards on duty. Onto the weather forecast now with Angie

:04:29. > :04:31.Phillips. Good evening. It has been a gloriously Easter Weekend for much

:04:32. > :04:35.of Northern Ireland. Things are changing now and we will have a lot

:04:36. > :04:44.more cloud than the forecast as we go through the week ahead. The cloud

:04:45. > :04:48.is feeding him towards us and the cloud will edge in this evening on a

:04:49. > :04:52.fresh easterly breeze and there will be a few showers around as well. I

:04:53. > :04:56.think we could see some showers in the far south by the end of the

:04:57. > :05:05.night. It is dry and fairly mild come at no lower than 6-8 degrees in

:05:06. > :05:09.towns and cities. Into tomorrow, we are looking at a cloudier, breezier

:05:10. > :05:12.day and there will be showers around, particularly during the

:05:13. > :05:15.morning. The North still mainly dry. A few showers across the Republic as

:05:16. > :05:25.well, but bright spells as well, and for much of England, Scotland and

:05:26. > :05:28.Wales, the day started out dry. There will be some bright spots

:05:29. > :05:31.coming through but there will be some downpours in southern areas and

:05:32. > :05:37.drifting into Wales during the latter part of the afternoon. North

:05:38. > :05:41.Sea coasts will be that cooler with the onshore breeze. For Northern

:05:42. > :05:44.Ireland, well, we might get one or two showers drifting into the South

:05:45. > :05:48.later on, but the afternoon looking largely dry, and it should brighten

:05:49. > :05:51.up as we head into the evening. Highs of either 15 or 16 degrees.

:05:52. > :05:54.And it might even try to brighten up, heading into the evening. For

:05:55. > :06:00.the rest of the week, rather cloudy and breezy and particularly damp on

:06:01. > :06:04.Wednesday. On Tuesday, a fair amount of ground across the country with

:06:05. > :06:10.showers around, heavier the further east you are. And in their Wednesday

:06:11. > :06:13.we see that where the fun swinging in from the south-west bringing a

:06:14. > :06:22.mole -- more prolonged spell of rain. Elsewhere, more showers,

:06:23. > :06:29.easing off in the south-west. But for Northern Ireland, a nice job

:06:30. > :06:30.rights bills and showers. -- at a mixture of bright spells and

:06:31. > :06:32.showers. Our next
