:00:00. > 3:59:59self-rule. More on that and indeed all of the

:00:00. > :00:10.Good evening. The parents of five-year-old Oscar

:00:11. > :00:14.Knox have paid tribute to their son at his funeral today in Glengormley.

:00:15. > :00:17.Wee Oscar, as he was known, whose high profile fight against cancer

:00:18. > :00:24.captured many hearts, died on Thursday. More than 1,000 people

:00:25. > :00:28.attended the funeral service at St Bernards Church. Rick Faragher

:00:29. > :00:34.reports. He was the boy who captured the

:00:35. > :00:36.hearts of everybody. This was a celebration of his life, with

:00:37. > :00:44.colourful jerseys and sports tops the order of the day. There were

:00:45. > :00:55.sports stars, politicians and family members. There were tears in the

:00:56. > :00:58.crowd when his mother recalled a recent conversation with her son.

:00:59. > :01:01.His favourite movie was Peter Pan. We talked a few weeks ago about a

:01:02. > :01:12.journey going to Neverland. We explained that in Neverland there

:01:13. > :01:17.are no sore knees or sore heads. He had a big smile on his face and he

:01:18. > :01:21.said, this is the best day of my life. As the crowd left, there were

:01:22. > :01:24.scenes of togetherness and solidarity. People, many of whom had

:01:25. > :01:33.never met, united by the strength of a young boy whose strength they will

:01:34. > :01:36.never forget. A 23-year-old man has been treated

:01:37. > :01:39.in hospital after suffering serious head injuries in an assault in east

:01:40. > :01:42.Belfast. It happened on the Newtownards Road shortly after one

:01:43. > :01:52.o'clock this morning. A 22-year-old man has been arrested.

:01:53. > :01:55.The third stage of the Giro D'Italia between Armagh and Dublin has been

:01:56. > :01:58.won by the German Marcel Kittell, who won yesterday's stage two. The

:01:59. > :02:02.Giro will now resume in Italy on Tuesday. A huge crowd turned out in

:02:03. > :02:04.Armagh this morning to see the riders off. BBC Newsline's Mark

:02:05. > :02:07.Simpson reports. There was no sign of Giro fatigue

:02:08. > :02:11.from the riders all the spectators. They rode more than 100 miles

:02:12. > :02:14.yesterday and more than 100 miles again today. As they swept through

:02:15. > :02:24.the South Armagh countryside, the weather was on the whole kind. In

:02:25. > :02:28.fact, when they went through this village, not only was the sun out

:02:29. > :02:31.but there were 2000 people lining the streets in the normally quiet

:02:32. > :02:35.village. It's all about the pink! We love to promote our country and we

:02:36. > :02:43.want to show the world how wonderful it is. It is just the spirit of the

:02:44. > :02:47.people of Northern Ireland getting behind anything and wanting to be

:02:48. > :02:51.part of it and show how wonderful the place is. Church services are

:02:52. > :02:57.normally held here at 11 o'clock on a Sunday, but not today. Did

:02:58. > :03:01.parishioners mind being disrupted by the Giro? Lets take the opportunity

:03:02. > :03:11.we have here and make the best of it. Let's just be here and serve

:03:12. > :03:14.people, that is what the church is about. And they all managed to get a

:03:15. > :03:19.look at the Giro, albeit a quick one. There they go on their way

:03:20. > :03:22.towards the border, on to Dublin. After three days here in Northern

:03:23. > :03:32.Ireland, the people are really going to miss them. I don't know what I am

:03:33. > :03:41.going to do tomorrow morning. I have to go to work. What are you going to

:03:42. > :03:47.wear? I wear pink everyday anyways! Show me your hair. As for the race

:03:48. > :03:51.for the pink jersey, the action all came at the end with a sprint finish

:03:52. > :03:55.in Dublin. Here comes Marcel Kittel! He takes it on the line! A bolt of

:03:56. > :03:59.lightning. What a guy. He nailed that in the most difficult

:04:00. > :04:04.circumstances and just look what it is taken out of him. Marcel Kittel

:04:05. > :04:08.we salute you. He won yesterday and he won again today on what is his

:04:09. > :04:12.26th birthday. The Giro now heads home back to Italy, but the memories

:04:13. > :04:19.here will linger for a very long time.

:04:20. > :04:22.The Derry City manager Roddy Collins has left the club following the

:04:23. > :04:26.team's disappointing start to the League of Ireland season. A brief

:04:27. > :04:29.statement from the club tonight said the Dubliner had left "by mutual

:04:30. > :04:31.consent". Collins only joined the club in mid-November following the

:04:32. > :04:51.Now, a look at the weather. It was a mixed fortunes again for stage three

:04:52. > :04:58.of the Giro d'Italia. That is how the week begins as well. Becoming

:04:59. > :05:02.increasingly dry later on and it will be a bit warmer by the end of

:05:03. > :05:07.the week as well. Tonight, some showers, particularly in the coast

:05:08. > :05:16.and parts of the south-west. But many places are dry with clear

:05:17. > :05:19.intervals. Temperatures about five to seven degrees. Tomorrow, we do it

:05:20. > :05:26.all again. There will be bright spells but showers as well. Perhaps

:05:27. > :05:35.not many showers inland but they will start to develop as time goes

:05:36. > :05:39.on. Across the Republic of Ireland, a mixture of sunshine and showers.

:05:40. > :05:45.Some could be heavy and thundery. The best of the sunny spells towards

:05:46. > :05:51.Wales and parts of northern Scotland and southern England. To the east,

:05:52. > :05:56.pretty frequent showers, some of which are heavy and thundery. For

:05:57. > :06:00.Northern Ireland, more showers inland by the afternoon. Some could

:06:01. > :06:05.be heavy and mixed with hail or the odd rumble of thunder. The north

:06:06. > :06:10.coast should be drier and brighter with highs of 13 degrees. We start

:06:11. > :06:14.to see high pressure building from the South although we do have a

:06:15. > :06:18.weather front edging in on Wednesday which could cause a few problems in

:06:19. > :06:23.the North and West, or certainly spoil things a little bit. On

:06:24. > :06:29.Tuesday, still showers across England and Wales. Further west,

:06:30. > :06:32.things become drier and brighter and as we head into Wednesday, it will

:06:33. > :06:38.be drier and brighter. That weather front could bring cloud and threaten

:06:39. > :06:41.some rain as well in parts of Northern Ireland and Scotland.

:06:42. > :06:44.Thursday is dry with a fair amount of cloud but hopefully some bright

:06:45. > :06:52.spells and those temperatures are rising.
