:00:14. > :00:15.Good evening, the headlines on BBC Newsline.

:00:16. > :00:17.An internal row in NI21 threatens to split the party

:00:18. > :00:32.close, to savour despise each other is too strong but there is a level

:00:33. > :00:36.level hostility.

:00:37. > :00:39.Local Muslims describe a Belfast pastor's remarks about the Islamic

:00:40. > :00:48.Satanic spawned from hell!

:00:49. > :00:51.Our reporter Andy West continues his series on living rough

:00:52. > :01:02.Rory McIlroy reveals he has split with his fiancee Caroline Wozniacki.

:01:03. > :01:05.After a lovely day today for the baton relay today,

:01:06. > :01:16.They promised fresh politics and an end to the old tribal divisions.

:01:17. > :01:18.But Northern Ireland's newest political party has found

:01:19. > :01:21.itself embroiled in a row over old politics - hether or not to

:01:22. > :01:27.The decision by NI21's executive to drop the unionist label has

:01:28. > :01:29.infuriated the deputy leader John McCallister - who has branded

:01:30. > :01:42.Our political correspondent Martina Purdy has this report.

:01:43. > :01:49.Once inseparable at Stormont, they made common cause including the

:01:50. > :01:55.Ulster Unionist party and setting up NI21. There was a problem. John

:01:56. > :02:01.McCallister wants to keep the union voting designation and the leader

:02:02. > :02:05.wanted to drop it. When the leader got his way, the deputy made his way

:02:06. > :02:12.to the news letter branding it dysfunctional. I voted against. It

:02:13. > :02:19.muddies the water unnecessarily. I don't think it's helpful. But the

:02:20. > :02:24.parties Europa candidates and the leader said dropping the Unionist

:02:25. > :02:29.label makes sense. The decisions taken consistent with what the aims

:02:30. > :02:33.of the party were, we think they would dump the right reasons and I

:02:34. > :02:38.am disappointed that things have happened in the way they have

:02:39. > :02:54.happened. Members of NI21 joined the row social media.

:02:55. > :03:05.This is a disaster, on the cusp of an election, 24 hours before when

:03:06. > :03:09.the deputy leader is saying your party is dysfunctional and he

:03:10. > :03:16.doesn't trust anyone. If you don't define that as a political disaster,

:03:17. > :03:21.I have no idea how they would. It was June last year when NI21

:03:22. > :03:24.launched itself. Its first birthday is approaching and voters will

:03:25. > :03:28.decide tomorrow if it is worth celebrating.

:03:29. > :03:30.The PSNI say they're investigating a hate crime motive

:03:31. > :03:32.after a pastor at the Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle

:03:33. > :03:35.in north Belfast described the Islamic faith as heathen, satanic

:03:36. > :03:39.A spokesman for the Belfast Islamic Centre has described

:03:40. > :03:58.The Whitehall Tabernacle has regularly attracted hundreds of

:03:59. > :04:03.people to its Sunday services. Many of them come to see this man. And

:04:04. > :04:09.evangelical preacher, James McConnell. Last Sunday com he spoke

:04:10. > :04:19.to them about the Islamic faith. Is lab is lab is Satanic. Islam is a

:04:20. > :04:25.doctrine spawned in hell. The Belfast Islamic Centre has described

:04:26. > :04:29.his remarks as irresponsible. It is worrying, especially if an educated

:04:30. > :04:35.person listen to that message, they might do something against the law

:04:36. > :04:39.and he should be answerable. If anyone is attacked or hurt, in

:04:40. > :04:43.Northern Ireland, he would be responsible. Over the years, the

:04:44. > :04:50.pastor has been forthright and outspoken. What he said here at the

:04:51. > :04:53.Tabernacle on Sunday has caused quite a controversy after it

:04:54. > :04:59.appeared on the church website. Today, he told me he stood over

:05:00. > :05:06.every word. You do not see that as being hateful? No, it isn't hate

:05:07. > :05:11.crime in any way. I am condemning what they believe in. What they

:05:12. > :05:19.believe in is from Satan, what they believe in is the saving... There

:05:20. > :05:25.are some good people in the Muslim community and I want to say to them

:05:26. > :05:30.I don't trust them and I will tell you why. Even the good people? I

:05:31. > :05:35.will tell you why because they are ruled by sharia law. While the pasta

:05:36. > :05:40.is unrepentant, the police say they are aware of an incident on Sunday

:05:41. > :05:42.and enquiries are continuing while I hate crime motives is investigated

:05:43. > :05:45.-- Pastore. Now for the second

:05:46. > :05:47.of our special undercover reports Last night our reporter Andy West

:05:48. > :05:52.told us of his four nights sleeping rough in the city

:05:53. > :05:55.and the reaction he got from members In tonight's report he looks

:05:56. > :06:10.at the help available to those How difficult was it to stay

:06:11. > :06:13.undercover? It was difficult, especially when dealing with

:06:14. > :06:17.charities and volunteers who work so hard to make sure homeless people

:06:18. > :06:21.are safe on the streets. I wanted to make certain that I wasn't taking

:06:22. > :06:26.away any vital support or services from those who genuinely needed

:06:27. > :06:30.them. I'm grateful to say the organisations I had contact with

:06:31. > :06:34.while sleeping rough have given us their blessing to use the footage we

:06:35. > :06:39.recorded and in this piece we will see I got access to some of the

:06:40. > :06:45.places in Belfast that work to make sure homeless people have somewhere

:06:46. > :06:53.safe to eat and sleep. Another day on the streets. At first, I could

:06:54. > :06:56.rely on strangers thrown me a lifeline and at night good

:06:57. > :07:05.Samaritans offering warm socks and food. It is amazing, thank you. A

:07:06. > :07:12.thermal vest. Nice thick socks. They could do for gloves. By the third

:07:13. > :07:19.day, feeling tired and hungry, I needed more help. I managed to find

:07:20. > :07:25.the welcome Centre where you can get lunch and have a wash. I was taken

:07:26. > :07:29.to an office by a volunteer, it turns out even rough sleepers have

:07:30. > :07:36.to wait before they can class themselves as homeless. So, you are

:07:37. > :07:44.sleeping rough. Yes. No hostel will take you. You need to think about

:07:45. > :07:51.benefits. How long does it take? A week or two. Ivan have to sleep...

:07:52. > :07:59.There is a night shelter. Is it safe? Nowhere is safe. There are

:08:00. > :08:04.many homeless people. It is survival. Over a bowl of soup I got

:08:05. > :08:07.talking to some of the other people using the centre. How long have you

:08:08. > :08:34.been homeless? Back to the streets. The empty hours

:08:35. > :08:39.dragged on and I admit I was feeling exhausted. And lonely. It is time to

:08:40. > :08:47.find myself somewhere to sit for the day. That would be perfect apart

:08:48. > :08:56.from the fact it stinks of your in. That could be good. It looks dry.

:08:57. > :09:04.That is my view for the next few hours. It is kind of funny how

:09:05. > :09:10.different the world looks from down here. Completely different view on

:09:11. > :09:20.the world passing by. People almost all people do the same thing. They

:09:21. > :09:25.look at you and instantly look away. After hours of sitting and being

:09:26. > :09:35.ignored, I reached my lowest point. And then out of the blue and elderly

:09:36. > :09:40.man offered me help. I am fine, thank you though. That was an

:09:41. > :09:50.elderly man in a flat cap. The first person in three hours to properly

:09:51. > :09:54.look me in the eye. After nightfall, I trudged over to centre Narita

:09:55. > :10:02.house, night shelter. 18 men were waiting but there were only 13 beds.

:10:03. > :10:07.Inside, we got a hot dinner while we hung around to see if we could get a

:10:08. > :10:10.room. I was warned them at the fights or my dirty clothes might be

:10:11. > :10:17.stolen but that isn't what I found. It was safe and friendly. I got

:10:18. > :10:21.called into the office where they allocate the bed. There weren't

:10:22. > :10:25.enough beds to go around and I wasn't going to take a bed away from

:10:26. > :10:35.someone who genuinely genuinely needed it. So, now I have to find

:10:36. > :10:39.someone that I will sleep. Four days on the streets was tough. I said as

:10:40. > :10:51.much to a man in the night shelter, yes, sleeping rough is hard. I have

:10:52. > :10:57.done it for 21 years. We saw the shortage of bed but what is the

:10:58. > :11:03.overall support? Charities like the Salvation Army do

:11:04. > :11:08.all they can to give as many beds to as many homeless people as they are

:11:09. > :11:14.able with limited resources. Another charity are able to offer beds while

:11:15. > :11:22.homeless people register. There are other charities working in Belfast,

:11:23. > :11:27.shelter, crisis and anyone watching tonight who would like more

:11:28. > :11:28.information on the issues around homelessness can call the BBC Action

:11:29. > :11:42.Line. The number is... Rory McIlroy has broken

:11:43. > :11:46.off his engagement to the tennis player, Caroline

:11:47. > :11:49.Wozniacki a few days after sending The golfer has held

:11:50. > :12:05.a news conference in England today I spoke to Rory McIlroy briefly

:12:06. > :12:10.today and he was naturally upset after announcing the split with

:12:11. > :12:17.Caroline Wozniacki. McIlroy was here playing in a pro-am tournament with

:12:18. > :12:22.former footballers. Earlier, he revealed the news in a statement but

:12:23. > :12:30.later faced questions about the break-up. This is what he had to

:12:31. > :12:31.say. It was mutual and amicable and we both thought it was

:12:32. > :12:39.say. It was mutual and amicable and we both for the best. It is time to

:12:40. > :12:50.move on and I have said all I need to say. There is no good time to

:12:51. > :12:57.sort of end a relationship. I will not lie, it will be very difficult.

:12:58. > :13:02.I am no different from anyone else, everyone has been through break-ups

:13:03. > :13:08.and it is always difficult. I am here to concentrate on the week and

:13:09. > :13:13.answer questions about golf and that is what I will do. It is a tough

:13:14. > :13:18.time for Rory McIlroy who has been with Caroline Wozniacki since 2011.

:13:19. > :13:40.The couple got engaged on New Year's Eve last year.

:13:41. > :13:55.In worth -- bay where the golden they had their apps recently she

:13:56. > :14:16.showed how much her golf they they had their apps recently she

:14:17. > :15:01.happy to sure off the they sent out wedding invitations three days later

:15:02. > :15:08.now he says he wants to focus on that concentrating on playing golf

:15:09. > :15:32.but he is confident that impact the Queen's Baton Relay

:15:33. > :15:37.It could be a long road to price recovery

:15:38. > :15:41.but the Northern Ireland housing market is showing positive signs.

:15:42. > :15:44.Government figures reveal values are rising and the number of sales -

:15:45. > :15:48.for the time of year - at their highest since the 2007 crash.

:15:49. > :15:52.Here's our business correspondent Julian O'Neill.

:15:53. > :16:21.travels to this property is it has been repossessed and is there is a

:16:22. > :16:47.heightened demand from buyers at lots of building and building over

:16:48. > :17:15.the average property price is now this growth in prices negative

:17:16. > :17:50.equity impacts if you restrict the supply prices that is not good for

:20:54. > :21:14.was pleased with the limited number of objections that is a question for

:21:15. > :21:41.the and you The Queen's Baton has been to some

:21:42. > :21:43.of Northern Ireland's most spectacular sights

:21:44. > :21:47.on its second day here. It contains a message from the Queen

:21:48. > :21:50.- and has been taken to almost 70 countries in a curtain raiser to

:21:51. > :21:52.the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. It was particularly warmly

:21:53. > :21:52.welcomed on Rathlin Island. Chris Page is

:21:53. > :22:56.following the baton relay. can see the first stop was people

:22:57. > :23:19.enjoy this man said it was a I am glad that I lived so Tour of the

:23:20. > :23:26.Coast complete, it headed to Londonderry where it took to the

:23:27. > :23:31.water again. The six Nations rugby heroes are in Belfast for a special

:23:32. > :23:37.reception this evening. Mark Sidebottom is there.

:23:38. > :23:43.It is history, the first time they had been received here and this man

:23:44. > :23:49.is like an marble pillar. Welcome. You have walked in with the

:23:50. > :23:53.silverware. It is a great occasion. Fantastic drive up here to

:23:54. > :23:59.Stormont. A beautiful day. A beautiful place. The marble broom is

:24:00. > :24:04.fabulous, it has been enjoyable. You beautiful place. The marble broom is

:24:05. > :24:10.travelled up with Brian O'Driscoll. He said it is all about you and the

:24:11. > :24:16.team. The next one will be the last. Yes, looks like it. That is the way

:24:17. > :24:22.he is. There is plenty of media who want to talk to him but

:24:23. > :24:27.he is. There is plenty of media who can finish on a high the same as

:24:28. > :24:32.Ireland did in the six Nations. We had better bring in the mastermind,

:24:33. > :24:40.the Ireland coach. Welcome to Stormont. Your impressions. Yes,

:24:41. > :24:47.massively impressed coming in. The marble room is really impressive.

:24:48. > :24:54.The sun is very warm. Looking down the avenue, it is absolutely...

:24:55. > :24:58.The sun is very warm. Looking down is impressive. And it is great to be

:24:59. > :25:05.up here. The tour is coming to South America, Paddy will not make it.

:25:06. > :25:11.Disappointing? Yes, Billy disappointing for us. We have been

:25:12. > :25:15.working with Paddy and he has been developing -- really disappointing.

:25:16. > :25:20.At the same time, it is mostly disappointing for Paddy, he was very

:25:21. > :25:29.keen to get on tour and he will be disappointed he can't. So, yes, I

:25:30. > :25:36.sympathise. This is a piece of sporting history. Well, they talked

:25:37. > :25:44.about sunshine but I heard a mention of rain earlier. It has been a

:25:45. > :25:51.beautiful day today,, the conditions have been right for showers, we have

:25:52. > :25:55.been watching. They didn't turn up, we got beautiful temperatures, highs

:25:56. > :26:03.of 16 and 17. This is the radar picture. A few showers over Donegal

:26:04. > :26:14.but not enough to ruin the Queen?s baton relay. This evening, there is

:26:15. > :26:20.the risk of showers popping up. They will not last. Overnight tonight,

:26:21. > :26:27.fading away, temperatures dropped down to around 8 degrees. Tomorrow,

:26:28. > :26:32.it will be a different feel. A cooler day, cloudier with lots more

:26:33. > :26:40.rain. It starts quite decently with spells of brightness in yearly part

:26:41. > :26:45.of the day. But as we get into the afternoon, a low pressure system

:26:46. > :26:52.works north and we start to feel the effects. Look at the temperatures.

:26:53. > :26:59.Highs of 13 or 14 degrees. Well down on what we have seen and good deal

:27:00. > :27:06.more rain around. Some of the bursts could be quite sharp. Especially on

:27:07. > :27:11.the East Coast. Get caught and you will know about it. The showers

:27:12. > :27:12.continue through the evening tomorrow, again, gradually fading

:27:13. > :27:18.out, a cooler nights and a tomorrow, again, gradually fading

:27:19. > :27:25.out, a cooler nights clearer skies, lows of 6 degrees. By Friday, more

:27:26. > :27:28.of a damp and drizzly afternoon. Look at the trend for the

:27:29. > :27:34.temperatures, they are on the way down. Highs of 11 or 12. The good

:27:35. > :27:43.news is by the weekend, things start to recover. Things picking up.

:27:44. > :27:44.Feeling dry and brighter. The bank holiday weekend, I think
