:00:12. > :00:13.programme has been complete for more than seven months.

:00:14. > :00:15.But its publication has been delayed by a legal challenge from

:00:16. > :00:19.A reference to the legal challenge is contained in an annual report

:00:20. > :00:21.from the Assembly's standards watchdog, which was released today.

:00:22. > :00:37.Here's our Political Editor, Mark Devenport.

:00:38. > :00:45.It was business as normal for Peter Robinson. The BBC Spotlight

:00:46. > :00:50.programme of January 2010 was one of the most explosive expose a is

:00:51. > :00:53.broadcast in Northern Ireland. It detailed Thai Iris Robinson had

:00:54. > :00:59.helped her teenage lover to set up a business. The programme alleged she

:01:00. > :01:07.obtained ?50,000 from to property developers to help him run a cafe in

:01:08. > :01:12.south Belfast. Within days of the broadcast, the Assembly standards

:01:20. > :01:25.report still has not been published. The Stormont standards Commissioner

:01:30. > :01:33.but publication of the report to the committee has been delayed because

:01:34. > :01:40.of legal issues that are still outstanding. How quickly would you

:01:41. > :01:44.hope to resolve that? I am always hopeful that it will be resolved

:01:45. > :01:47.quickly. I absolutely defend the right of anyone to challenge

:01:48. > :01:55.anything they think is inappropriate. Iris Robinson's

:01:56. > :01:59.solicitor told the BBC that he has a range of concerns about

:02:00. > :02:04.documentation included with the draft report. Those concerns include

:02:05. > :02:08.the relevancy of the material, Iris Robinson's privacy and the impact

:02:09. > :02:15.any publication might have on her health and recovery. Those on the

:02:16. > :02:18.standard committee are unlikely to consider the report until the autumn

:02:19. > :02:20.and it will be up to them to decide when the report should be published

:02:21. > :02:24.and what action should be recommended.
