:00:00. > :00:09.A woman whose car was hijacked by a masked gang in west Belfast has

:00:10. > :00:15.It happened around teatime yesterday in Poleglass.

:00:16. > :00:29.She's still too scared to show her face a day after her ordeal. She

:00:30. > :00:34.does not want the gang to recognise her. The hijacking happened on this

:00:35. > :00:38.busy road in daylight at around 6:30pm yesterday. She was no way to

:00:39. > :00:42.help her family. Her son had been in hospital and she was no way to see

:00:43. > :00:46.him and taking medicine. She was travelling down this road when she

:00:47. > :00:54.got to this ramp and the gang appeared. A fellow just at the other

:00:55. > :00:59.side of the door and be to get out. He had something in his hand which

:01:00. > :01:09.looked like a knife. I panicked, I got out of the car and I felt. I

:01:10. > :01:14.don't know how. The two fellows hovering behind him. She says the

:01:15. > :01:18.police told her the car was set on fire shortly after it was hijacked.

:01:19. > :01:23.She said she could not understand anybody would take a car just to

:01:24. > :01:28.burn it. why would you do that? Why would you steal somebody's car just

:01:29. > :01:35.to burn it? It happened almost immediately afterwards. She says the

:01:36. > :01:40.woman that track wrote she says she was waiting at the side of the road

:01:41. > :01:44.waiting for help and feared the gang would return. Eventually, her son,

:01:45. > :01:49.who had been waiting for her, came to the scene to collect her.

:01:50. > :01:52.A man in his twenties from Northern Ireland has drowned

:01:53. > :01:55.James Kelly, who was originally from the Shankill

:01:56. > :02:00.A 23-year-old woman has been assaulted by a man

:02:01. > :02:02.in the early hours of this morning in Bally-kinlar.

:02:03. > :02:05.Two men, aged 17 and 23, were also attacked during

:02:06. > :02:12.The Clipper Round the World yacht fleet has left Londonderry.

:02:13. > :02:14.The departure followed a weekend of entertainment at the

:02:15. > :02:31.A spectacular fireworks display made sure the Clipper Round the World

:02:32. > :02:36.ended with the bank last night. Huge crowds gathered at the quayside to

:02:37. > :02:42.watch the celebrations, which included a fiery battle between two

:02:43. > :02:45.pirate ships. It was a fitting sendoff to the Clipper Round the

:02:46. > :02:50.World race fleet, around 270 crew from the 12 international teams cast

:02:51. > :02:53.off from the marina this afternoon. They will make their way to

:02:54. > :02:58.Greencastle for the next stage of the race. 50 will take the fleet on

:02:59. > :03:02.eight on an 800 mile route over Scotland and then down into the

:03:03. > :03:05.North Sea. The boats are expected to arrive in Holland between the 2nd of

:03:06. > :03:07.July and the 4th of July. In today's Gaelic Games, Down are

:03:08. > :03:10.through to the next round of the All-Ireland football qualifiers

:03:11. > :03:13.following a big win over Leitrim. Antrim's hurlers are out, having

:03:14. > :03:20.lost to Offaly by two points. A look ahead now to a special report

:03:21. > :03:23.we'll have on BBC Newsline tomorrow. As the marching season gets

:03:24. > :03:26.underway, research shows there are more parades and marching bands

:03:27. > :03:30.than at any time in our history. While the number

:03:31. > :03:33.of contentious parades is small, negative perceptions persist

:03:34. > :03:36.about bands and their members. We've been talking to members

:03:37. > :03:39.of a band in west Belfast about why they join and how those

:03:40. > :03:52.images can be changed. I have been in this band for 31

:03:53. > :03:55.years in September. Nobody in this band has ever been arrested while

:03:56. > :04:01.they were in the band or been to jail while they were in the band.

:04:02. > :04:02.I'm really angry that people say we thugs and we Loyalist

:04:03. > :04:03.paramilitaries. We are not. That story across

:04:04. > :04:05.BBC News Northern Ireland tomorrow, starting with Good Morning Ulster at

:04:06. > :04:08.8 o'clock and on BBC Newsline here Now let's get a look at what

:04:09. > :04:25.the weather has in store Good evening. Hopefully you have had

:04:26. > :04:29.a nice weekend and the forecast for the week ahead is not looking too

:04:30. > :04:32.bad, at least to begin with. You'll be quite chilly tonight with a nice

:04:33. > :04:34.weekend and the forecast for the week ahead is not looking too bad,

:04:35. > :04:41.at least to begin with. You'll be quite chilly tonight with lots of it

:04:42. > :04:46.will be a bit chilly first thing. To begin with, not too bad at all, at

:04:47. > :04:53.least until Wednesday. Warming up each day with temperatures

:04:54. > :04:55.approaching the 20s, but there is the risk of unsettled weather and

:04:56. > :04:59.rain towards the end of the week. For Monday morning, it looks like a

:05:00. > :05:03.dry, bright start. With light winds, it will not be too long before you

:05:04. > :05:06.start to feel the heat from the sun. If you're travelling tomorrow, there

:05:07. > :05:09.is lots of fine weather to be had across Britain and Ireland. Some

:05:10. > :05:12.cloud and showers across the north-east of Scotland and also some

:05:13. > :05:17.showers moving across south-west England. There may be some showers

:05:18. > :05:21.towards London and the Wimbledon area, too. The odd one cropping up

:05:22. > :05:24.across the Republic of Ireland, but, like Northern Ireland, most

:05:25. > :05:28.places will be dry and sunny. Temperatures should get up to 19,

:05:29. > :05:33.possibly 20 degrees with the small risk of a shower later in the day.

:05:34. > :05:37.On Tuesday, we can look forward to slightly higher temperatures again,

:05:38. > :05:39.probably around 21 degrees across parts of Northern Ireland. Most

:05:40. > :05:43.places will be dry with some sunshine. It is a similar story

:05:44. > :05:46.across Britain and Ireland, high pressure is looking after the

:05:47. > :05:50.weather across many places, just a very small chance of a shower

:05:51. > :05:52.breaking out here and there. On Wednesday, temperatures are

:05:53. > :05:57.approaching the mid-20s across southern parts of Britain. Warm

:05:58. > :06:00.across Ireland, too. This area of rain will, however, push into

:06:01. > :06:05.north-west Scotland. That will bring some cloud for the West of Ireland,

:06:06. > :06:09.but it should stay dry, at least, during the day. On Thursday the warm

:06:10. > :06:11.weather continues across the south of Britain, elsewhere that with more

:06:12. > :06:13.cloud around, still quite warm weather continues across the south

:06:14. > :06:16.of Britain, elsewhere the Whitmore cloud around, still quite warming

:06:17. > :06:18.places but there will be the risk of some showers. So, we have a pretty

:06:19. > :06:21.decent week to come, at least until Wednesday. They will stay warm,

:06:22. > :06:22.often sunny, probably some rain by Thursday. Good night.
