:00:00. > 3:59:59has been talking to Will Gompertz. That's all from us.

:00:00. > :00:00.Now The Orange Order is asking

:00:00. > :00:08.its supporters in North Belfast to disperse

:00:09. > :00:11.peacefully after a short protest on Senior Orangemen say throwing even

:00:12. > :00:18.a single stone risks undermining their campaign for an inquiry

:00:19. > :00:21.into the handling of parades. Meanwhile,

:00:22. > :00:24.a legal appeal against the Parades Commission's decision to bar the

:00:25. > :00:28.return leg of the Order's parade has The application for a judicial

:00:29. > :00:33.review was made by an Orange Order supporter who claimed their human

:00:34. > :00:37.rights were being denied. Here's our

:00:38. > :00:53.Political Editor Mark Devenport. And last year, and some Orangemen

:00:54. > :00:57.and their supporters clashed with riot officers in north Belfast. This

:00:58. > :00:59.year, the police are hopeful there will be a repetition of this

:01:00. > :01:05.violence, but they aren't taking any chances. More than 3500 officers

:01:06. > :01:09.will be on duty, with over 1000 of those deployed in north Belfast.

:01:10. > :01:14.Above our City Hall, the Orange Order set out its plan for what it

:01:15. > :01:18.argues should be a day of pageantry and celebration. The Belfast deputy

:01:19. > :01:22.County Grand Master said the Orangemen will be given pride of

:01:23. > :01:26.place at the front of the main parade. But what about their

:01:27. > :01:29.controversial return to the north of the city due macro on the home

:01:30. > :01:34.homeward parade, the lodges and accompanying bands will stop at a

:01:35. > :01:41.line of marshals standing on the Woodvale Road. The bands will play

:01:42. > :01:48.some tunes. At this point, a short statement will be made, after which

:01:49. > :01:52.the lodges and bands will parade down to their Orange hall and

:01:53. > :01:56.disbursed. I would have a message for young Protestants or any

:01:57. > :02:00.Protestant unionist who is thinking or feels strongly about what is

:02:01. > :02:05.happening now. If you live a stone or a bottle on the 12th day, you are

:02:06. > :02:09.falling into a republican trap. Loyalist politicians are echoing the

:02:10. > :02:13.Orange Order's message that anyone intent on causing trouble should

:02:14. > :02:20.stay away from tomorrow evening's protests. I am calling on people not

:02:21. > :02:24.to engage in any unlawful activity. I think what we need to do is be

:02:25. > :02:28.very careful about this. If we really want to win this cultural

:02:29. > :02:32.sort of stuff, we need to be doing it politically, and I think we need

:02:33. > :02:36.to put our faith in the political parties and the Orange Order to

:02:37. > :02:39.carry this off. I welcome the fact that the Order has indicated that

:02:40. > :02:43.people should behave themselves and should obey the law. That is to be

:02:44. > :02:49.welcomed. However, words like that were used last year, and we saw the

:02:50. > :02:55.results. The police revealed today they have spent around ?55 million

:02:56. > :03:00.policing all parades and Union flag protests since December 2012. During

:03:01. > :03:07.the same period, nearly 700 people were arrested and more than 500

:03:08. > :03:11.convicted of offences. This July's 11th night bonfires meets our higher

:03:12. > :03:16.than ever amidst controversy about some of the political posters and

:03:17. > :03:19.other objects placed upon them. But the police are hoping that this

:03:20. > :03:22.year's marching season will turn out to be less incendiary on the street

:03:23. > :03:27.The hundreds of thousands of country music fans who have bought tickets

:03:28. > :03:30.to Garth Brooks concerts still don't know if they'll go ahead.

:03:31. > :03:34.An Irish government committee hearing on why Garth Brooks's five

:03:35. > :03:38.Dublin gigs were shelved has been postponed, as talks to salvage

:03:39. > :03:43.It's now been revealed the singer's manager has asked the Taoiseach

:03:44. > :04:00.An Brooksmulti-macro management team

:04:01. > :04:05.asking for a review Brooksmulti-macro management team

:04:06. > :04:08.bringing it to 25 concert nights including the matinees. The city

:04:09. > :04:12.manager cannot change his mind. Our planning laws do not allow anyone to

:04:13. > :04:13.change their mind. The integrity of the planning act must remain in

:04:14. > :04:15.situ. A court has heard claims that

:04:16. > :04:17.the singer and politician Dana Rosemary Scallon knew all

:04:18. > :04:19.along about allegations Dana, who grew up in Londonderry,

:04:20. > :04:23.denied knowledge of the allegations while she was campaigning to be

:04:24. > :04:26.Irish President several years ago. Her brother, John Brown,

:04:27. > :04:29.has been put on trial in London this week charged with abusing two girls

:04:30. > :04:44.more than 30 years ago. Dayna's singing career gave way to

:04:45. > :04:50.career in politics. Celebrating with a at this European election count

:04:51. > :04:55.1999 was her brother, John Brown. He is 60 and lives in Berkshire. He is

:04:56. > :04:59.currently on trial at Harrow Crown Court in London, accused of child

:05:00. > :05:02.sex abuse. He is charged with five counts of indecent assault against

:05:03. > :05:03.one girl aged under 16 and another who was under 13. The alleged abuse

:05:04. > :05:14.happened in the 1970s. In 2011, who was under 13. The alleged abuse

:05:15. > :05:16.ran for the presidency of Ireland, and unite any knowledge of the

:05:17. > :05:19.allegations against and unite any knowledge of the

:05:20. > :05:21.court has so far in evidence from one of the alleged victims, who

:05:22. > :05:23.claimed John one of the alleged victims, who

:05:24. > :05:27.inappropriately for times. She said Dana spoke to her by phone

:05:28. > :05:28.inappropriately for times. She said before the allegations made

:05:29. > :05:32.headlines, during the Irish presidential election campaign.

:05:33. > :05:33.Speaking about that phone call with Dana, the alleged victim told the

:05:34. > :05:49.court: The court also heard evidence from

:05:50. > :05:52.the alleged victim's mother. She said she had confronted John Brown

:05:53. > :05:56.after being told about the abuse. The mother also said she had spoken

:05:57. > :06:00.to Dana, and that Dana told her she knew someone who had taught to John

:06:01. > :06:05.Brown. The mother said her understanding was that the person

:06:06. > :06:06.Dana was talking about was a priest. The court heard the

:06:07. > :06:11.Dana was talking about was a priest. and her family eventually met John

:06:12. > :06:13.Brown again, after Dana claimed her brother had been cured. The alleged

:06:14. > :06:25.victim's mother said: A defence lawyer argued the

:06:26. > :06:28.allegations had been made up to help a libel case which the alleged

:06:29. > :06:32.victim and her mother are bringing against Dana. But in the heated

:06:33. > :06:37.exchange, the mother insisted the claims were true. John Brown denies

:06:38. > :06:38.all the charges. The trial is expected to last for another few

:06:39. > :06:39.weeks. Members of a pop band

:06:40. > :06:41.from Londonderry say it feels like they've won the World Cup

:06:42. > :06:44.after a former Italian superstar agreed to appear in a video to

:06:45. > :06:48.promote their latest album. The Wonder Villains managed

:06:49. > :06:51.to get former Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola to star

:06:52. > :06:53.in their tribute song - called Zola, of course.

:06:54. > :07:14.Keiron Tourish reports. The Wonder Villains or a four piece

:07:15. > :07:17.pop band who have built up a loyal following in recent years. After

:07:18. > :07:24.watching videos of superstar Gianfranco Zola, they wrote a song

:07:25. > :07:29.about their idol. Then, the story took an amazing ten. Just like one

:07:30. > :07:34.of Jan Franco's mesmerising runs for Chelsea. We had a song about Zola,

:07:35. > :07:39.and we were playing a song about Zola, and we were playing it for

:07:40. > :07:42.like need a music video now. And our friend went to university in London

:07:43. > :07:46.and met a girl with the surname Zola. We said, you should hear the

:07:47. > :07:51.song, it is about Jan Franco Zola. She said, that is my dad! And then,

:07:52. > :07:57.Facebook messages happened, and he agreed to be in the video. The dairy

:07:58. > :08:04.band were apprehensive about meeting Italian legend. So, so nice. He was

:08:05. > :08:09.just chatting and laughing and joking about football and music and

:08:10. > :08:16.everything. It was great. It was unbelievable. We thought it would be

:08:17. > :08:19.a bit awkward, but it was so fine! The Wonder Villains say that the

:08:20. > :08:26.response to their Zola video has been phenomenal. They are now out on

:08:27. > :08:28.the road promoting their new album. If things don't work out, there is

:08:29. > :08:36.always in the beautiful game! And taking a look at tomorrow's

:08:37. > :08:48.weather, here's Geoff Maskell. Hello. After quite a bright start to

:08:49. > :08:52.the day today, we've seen increasing amount of cloud through the day.

:08:53. > :08:56.Overnight tonight, that cloud will include a reasonable amount of

:08:57. > :08:59.drizzly rain, and some heavy burst overnight as well. The cloud cover

:09:00. > :09:05.means it is quite a mild night, loads of 13 or 14. I am afraid the

:09:06. > :09:08.bank holiday weekend gets off to a bit of a damp and Razaleigh starts,

:09:09. > :09:12.and through the middle part of Saturday, we will see some quite

:09:13. > :09:16.heavy rain. This is the picture first thing. A bit of damp bundle to

:09:17. > :09:18.begin with, then a break, and then the rain really starts to comment.

:09:19. > :09:20.begin with, then a break, and then the rain really starts It's driven

:09:21. > :09:23.on these brands that are sweeping across Ireland towards Great

:09:24. > :09:27.Britain, and it brings with it plenty of rain. It really is a

:09:28. > :09:31.dominant feature for Saturday, edging gradually eased through the

:09:32. > :09:36.day. Much cooler temperatures with that rain as well. It means we have

:09:37. > :09:39.a bit of a damp and soggy afternoon on Saturday, right the way across

:09:40. > :09:43.Northern Ireland, and those showers will linger along the eastern half

:09:44. > :09:50.of Northern Ireland, well into Saturday evening. As we head into

:09:51. > :09:54.Sunday, it is slightly brighter. There is still a few bits of rain

:09:55. > :09:58.around during the day on Sunday, but much more in the way of breaks and

:09:59. > :10:04.some brighter spells, Doctor Bridges 17 or 18 degrees. Into this week, it

:10:05. > :10:08.is an unsettled picture, so if you are hoping for a walk on the beach,

:10:09. > :10:12.I think Sunday is probably going to be the pick of the days before we

:10:13. > :10:13.start to see a theme or Atlantic systems coming in through the early

:10:14. > :10:15.part of the week. You can keep up to date with

:10:16. > :10:18.News Online and follow this programme on Facebook and Twitter.

:10:19. > :10:24.From BBC Newsline, goodnight.
